Speaker 1 (00:00):
About a month ago when I was on vacation, the
administration pulled off Operation Midnight Hammer, and there's a briefing
to talk a little bit about its success, but behind
closed doors. Ryan Schmells with Fox News Radio Ian Washington, DC. Ryan,
how you doing, Hey, I'm good?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Are you great?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Thank you? So the President said this thing was a
huge success. Those in Iran said, yeah, we'll be back
in business sooner than you think. How did it really go?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
H Well, you know, it's a closed door briefing, so
obviously I don't think they're too excited to come out
and tell me every single thing that was said in there.
But I would say that overall Republicans coming out of
that meeting were pretty satisfy what they heard.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
So how do we then really gauge things? I mean,
we've got satellite images that the fact that Iran said
it wasn't as bad should be enough to say that
maybe it was right.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yes, No, I mean, I know nobody's going to believe
anything comes out of Iran's bow. That's just yeah, at
least from the intelligence community. That's something we have to
do their own assessments of uh. I think they would
like to see negotiations get back on the table, But
we don't know what Iran's next play is here, and
you know, Aron's kind of died down from the news
at least the mainstream news as of Lake, which obviously
is probably be a good sign too that they're you know,

(01:18):
haven't really planned anything as of late. But obviously that
can change any made with this news cycle.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
So where do we go next. What about those the
UN watchdogs being allowed in to sort of take a
look at how things are going. They had sort of
stopped allowing them in any chance that we'll get some
sort of oversight about what's really happening from inside the country.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Well, that's the challenge that Iron has, or that we
have with Iran is that, you know, you can't really
just go into their site and get a h and
get a nice little evaluation. They're not just like inviting
the United States in there and be like, oh, hey,
look here's here's where the damage was. You know, here's
where the bomb landed. So, I mean, that's that's I
think this big disagreement about the extent of the damage

(02:04):
comes from, is that, you know, I don't think that
that Democrats trust a full analysis of it as of
right now, because it's hard to survey that property and
see exactly what the damage capabilities was a lot of
it's relied on US intelligence that that has to do
this from a safe location or try to get as
close as possible, and you use, yeah, like satellite imagery

(02:24):
other ways of which you're evaluating it, but you can't
just actually go onto the site and just see it yourself.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Maybe we can send those jack wagons that were firing
the drones up in New Jersey last summer.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
We get those guys and bibles and.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
A yeah, where are we on that? Ryan Schmells with
Fox News Radio I in Washington, d C. Thanks for
your time today.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Thanks all, I'm going you do the same
