The Future of Gaza

President Trump chaired a meeting last night regarding future plans for Gaza. Fox News Radio's Ryan Schmelz joins us with the details.

Get to the latest following a meeting last night that
President shared with Israel and US officials. Ryan Schmels in Washington,
DC with Box News Radio, Good morning, Ryan.

Good morning, So what do we find out?

What did we talk about last night? This is about
post war Gaza. We're still in the middle of the war,
so that must mean there's some optimism that this thing
could come to a close.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah. Maybe. I mean, we didn't really get too much
of a readoff from the White House yesterday about you know,
what was involved here and what kind of progress was made.
We know that some plans were laid out, but at
the same time, you need both Israel and Hamas to
be at the table, and it doesn't appear that, you know,
you have both sides really involved in this and it's

kind of just a strategy meeting moving forward in a
policy meeting.

Yeah, we've heard some interesting things come out of the
White House about what could happen to Gaza afterwards, that
including some sort of theme park. Do we know is all?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah, I don't know if that was discussed. Yeah, I
don't know if they want that far. But yes, there
have been some fascinating plans floated by President Trump ever
since it took office. But I don't know if any
of those are still in the works or if that's
something that there they would even pursue.

Do we know more about who is in the room.
We know Steve Wikoff is there, and he's kind of
been the wheeler and dealer in this administration.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah. You had Tony Blair, who was the Prime Minister
of during the got during the Rack War, I believe,
and then you also have you know, Jared Kushner as well,
who was an advisor to the president but also the
President's son in law. Though those were some of the
folks that have been counter to this. You had another

a separate meeting going on between Secretary of State Mark
Rubio and the Foreign Minister to Israel as well, and
that foreign minister was actually asked afterwards, would you is
Reel going to recognize the Pala City and State? And
they said no.

So to what happens next, I guess is the only
question this idea?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah, no, we don't know that yet. It's uh. I
mean that you'll if you're up to President Trump, you'd
have peace negotiations immediately. I mean, he wants to end
of the swar there's no secret about that, the details
and how you get there. I mean, he's pretty open
minded about it, but he wants, uh, he wants it
to stop. And that's that's essentially his thinking on this
is what my.
