Colossal Biosciences announced this yesterday. They're working to genetically engineer
a living bird to resemble the extinct South Island giant moa.
And Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson, who is
equally obsessed with this bird and has the biggest collection

of fossils in the world, Yeah, has given Fifth Team
million dollars in funding for this to happen.
