Speaker 1 (00:00):
And welcome to West Michigan's Morning News starring Steve Kelly.
That's Adam Morocho and the producers both ladies and gentlemen,
Laurence Smith, Bret Bakita, and thank you for listening this morning,
on this Tuesday, May sixth, twenty twenty five. Let's fire
up at top five, Schmidty, where does it go?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Well?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Number five? I doubt any of you guys were watching
the met Gala last night. Hi Bigs, Night Fashion New York. Okay,
don't worry, I got you covered here. Lisa is the
singer's name from the group Black Pink, causing quite a
stir over what she decided to wear last night. It
looks as though her very fashionable undergarments that she was

(00:39):
wearing outside in regular life had none other than Rosa
Park's face stitched on them.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
So yeah, Rosa Parks underpants.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Underpants with Rosa Park's face on them.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
That's interesting choice.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
The Met Gala theme, there's a different theme every year.
This year was super fine tailoring, black style. But a
lot of people were like, ooh, this is a civil
rights icon. Maybe she shouldn't be on your undays. Getting
a lot of backlash today.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Lisa goes pantless. I wouldn't probably do that at work.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
No, there you go, That'll be at my next yeah,
at eight oh seven. I'll remind you why that's workplace. Ettiqate.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
See that's why I didn't watch. That's a violation of
our code, isn't it? Hear for I hurt?

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Are we allowed to watch that?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Let's let you know just how serious they are about
cracking down. Oh bad to the words. Oh yeah, number two,
I'm in it just for the music. A security camera
at number four in the list, on a street in
India captured the moment when a wandering bull took a
parked scooter for a spin. The video shows the stray

(01:49):
bull investigating a white scooter before putting his front legs
onto the seat and off they go. Oh yeah, Unfortunately
it crashed and now on further inspection, I don't know
that it was necessarily he was trying to give the
scooter a good look, if you know what I mean.
Either way, no other bulls have been caught on scooters.

(02:11):
Well keep your posting.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
At number three. Game two last night of the Calder
Cup playoffs with the Griffins and the Stars.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Put in back to the right point to him. He's
still a long shot blocked again out in front, and
Texas long feet ahead, knocked down by McKenzie right in any.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Stares oil Boy boy Man.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Curtis McKenzie knocked that pass three feet off the ice
and then he went from the right wing circle when
the stars lead it for nothing again.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
They had to wait for Bergersky, Bob Gazer, Larry Fergersky
beside themselves last night, and why not they went down
in this series eight said nothing because it was four
nothing in game one for nothing at that point that
Griffins did come back and get two goals, but I'll
lost four to two, and Dan Watson, their head coach,
will join us at eight thirty six on the Griffin's
power play.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
At number two, Authority say thirty two people had to
be rescued off the coast of Miami after their four
million dollars sixty three foot Lamborghini yacht started to sink.
Turns out you can't put more than twelve people on
one of these Lamborghini yachts, and they had thirty two.
The biggest reason I'm doing the story is because of

(03:26):
this astute knowledge dropped by one of the survivors.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I probably should have knew how to swim before everything
on a boat, and there you have such as the Iraq.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Yeah they were at the F one race. There's not
a whole ton of strong decision making after a few pops.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I probably should have knew how to swim before ever.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Getting on a boat.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Classic finally a number one on the lists. The Washington
State Parole of Patrol said two drivers were caught using
dummies to illegally drive in carpool lanes in a space
just over a few days. Trooper Rick Johnson, public information
officer with the Washington State Police, set on social media.
First driver pulled over Tuesday in the high occupancy vehicle

(04:10):
lanes on Interstate five. Trooper said he noticed that the
passenger was a mannequin wearing a brunette wig, a plaid
shirt and a scarf. He really tried, thought was cool.
Of course, here in Michigan, sometimes the dummies are the
ones driving, and.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
There it is.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
You knew it was going. That's today's top five. Thanks
for playing along.
