Speaker 1 (00:00):
And this is West Michigan's morning news. Steve Kelly, Brett, Kata,
Laurence Smith. Adam A wrote Joe Wi his top five
time for this Wednesday, October twenty second.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Smitty, where do we start?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hey at number five? If you happen to be a
chronic migraine sufferer, you may just need a little stop
to the golden arches.

Speaker 6 (00:16):
What.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
A medical educator named doctor Myro recently responded to a
video on TikTok from a user saying, can someone please
tell me the science of y a McDonald's coke and
large fry clear cures everything? And he said, well, while
it's not in any kind of medical journal, here's three reasons.
You get a dopamine hit, which sounds absolutely fantastic, and

(00:38):
then you get the caffeine amount mixed in with the
salt content of the fries, which acts as a natural electrolyte. Yes,
a large Mickeybe's Fountain coke and a big old fry
does indeed help you feel better?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yeah, that good for your cholesterol, but well compared to
a migraine in moderation, and then trying to get your
insurance to pay for it.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
That's relatively cheap, right are you?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Are you the one that always calls the bag fries.
I'm the one that calls the bag fries.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Oh man, the ones on the bottom.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I'm that girl.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah, he hand's off.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Bag fries are mine?

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Number four in the list of dog escaped from his
Canada's Vancouver International Airport and was on the loose. Can
you imagine if this was your dog for nine days
before being safely apprehended by rescuers. Pet Searchers Canada said
the eight month old dog named Tommy escaped from his
crate after arriving at the airport from South Korea on

(01:34):
October ninth. A pair of rescuers from the organization were
summoned to assist in the search.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Tommy is now back home with his owners.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
How old do you have to be to kind of
let things go well? Certainly in the NFL we see
that with coaches and players that may be played together
at one time and now we're separated. Well, the latest
beef became the New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson and
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Peyton. Remember the Broncos had
the unbelievable come back and they beat the Giants. And

(02:05):
Russell Wilson, I remember, because I went to this Lions game,
was the quarterback for Sean Payton for the Denver Bronco
as well. This is what Peyton had to say, He
still can't help himself. They found a little spark with
that quarterback, referring to Jackson Dart who's now replaced Russell Wilson.
I was talking to Giants owner John Mara not too
long ago, and I said, we were hoping that that

(02:27):
change would have happened long after our game. So he
was hoping to face Russell Wilson as former quarterback. And
Wilson got wind of it yesterday and said classless but
not surprised. Didn't realize you're still bounty hunting fifteen plus
years later through the media. Now that's a reference to
Sean Payton. Remember when he was with the Saints.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
As head coach, he actually had suspended for a got
suspended for a year because of it came out that
his defensive coordinator was targeting players that they were paying cash.
Remember she knocked players out right?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah? Nice?

Speaker 6 (03:02):
At number two a fish take out a restaurant in
China abruptly exploded during dinner service, sending a tsunami of
live fish and water through the dining room, soaking every
customer in the restaurant. It was one of those places
where you can pick the fish you want to eat
for dinner, and the fish tank just exploded, sending all

(03:24):
of the stock all over the restaurant. Every person in
the restaurant was given a free dinner that night for
the inconvenience.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Well, yeah, the fish flies onto your plate. How would
you not.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
A lot of that? They don't cook too so I wonder.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
If you say, my daughter, I would love that big
sushi fan man.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Just put it in your purse and eat it on
the way home.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I always bring a big bag.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Steve Kelly number one on the list. Finally, here's something
you will not run into today. Well maybe I guess
this is possible. In Grand Haven, a California Highway patrol
warn't Fresno area travelers of a very sticky situation resulting
from a truck losing its load of blueberries onto a roadway.

(04:04):
The Fresno Chips set on social media that the blueberry
spilled occurred near Highway ninety nine. There were photos and
there were a lot of blueberries, just so you know.
They could be a little slippery when under wheel. They
apparently took a couple hours. Everything's okay.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Those things are tough, man.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
It stains and everything in.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
A favorite berry and go raspberry. Oh boy, yeah, ilgo
rest berry blueberry. I had to go with blueberry too.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I thought you'd say none because nothing tastes like vanilla.
Now the shock your mouth is vanilla berry
