Los Angeles collapse Wednesday night, have been rescued. Los Angeles
County Sanitation District's chief Engineer and general manager, Robert Robert
(00:40):
Ferrante explaining how the workers were able to be rescued
despite a section of that tunnel the workers already rebuilt collapsed.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
It didn't completely fill the tunnel, so the men were
able to come back to that point, walk through, come
through that collapse, and get into a vehicle that brought
them out to the shaft site.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Did not look good for a while, and none of
the workers had any visible injuries. House Republicans continued their
investigation into former President Joe Biden's use of the auto
pen when bringing in former White House physician doctor Kevin O'Connor,
who refused to testify. They had a whole bunch of questions.
(01:23):
I helped the committee come up with the questions. We
had hours and hours of questions that many of them
were of that category where it.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Had nothing to do with patient the provider privilege.
Speaker 1 (01:32):

Also trending this morning. I just find these kinds of
things fascinating. Do you realize yesterday was the shortest day
in history. So scientists have been following this because it
looks like the Earth is changing up and accelerating its rotation.
We actually lost a millisecond yesterday, which doesn't seem like
a lot. A blink of an eye takes one hundred milliseconds,
(02:33):
but with atomic clocks, four hundred and fifty of them
around the world, by the way, that do everything right.
They do the GPS weather military operations. This is a
really big deal. And they think there's going to be
two more July twenty second and August fifth, because of
lunar activity. They may have to add minutes to our day.
(02:57):
It's crazy. We should get a scientist some because what
I'm saying obviously doesn't make sense, but it's really interesting.
It's trending. You're going to see that across a lot
of stories.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Do we need to send the Space Shuttle up to
start drilling in an asteroid?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
I don't think it's an asterid. I just think it's
really fascinating that the Earth's rotation would change to the
point where scientists are going we may need to add
what they call a leap second into our day.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Are we able to sleep that away?
Speaker 4 (03:20):
That's all I want.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Are we're going to reverse polarity here and two pays
they're going to start flying. I should have.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Never done this. I was just trying to bring some
culture and science to the show.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
I just need to know if I need to panic,
Do we need to don't think we need I hoard water.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I think it's just in the toilet paper.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Alone, pushing older women and walkers out of the toilet
paper aisle. We slowed down. You gotta commit. It's like
