key leaders. Speaking on Air Force one reporters, the President
expects to be great fame friends with the new Prime
Minister of Japan.

Later on this morning, we will get the latest on
that trip. The government's shutdown continues too, and key benefits
are set to run out, including food stamps. Wyoming Senator

Last night with food stamps. Forty two million people come
the end of this week are going to lose their
food stamps and As a result, this country is going
to see a lot of people who are hungry and angry,
and I bet that they're going to be calling their
Democrat senators and say vote to open the government. This
politics of pain has to end.

That's not what Democrats are saying. It's just the other
way around. On that story, in a half hour, we'll
head to Washington, d C. With Ryan Smells at Hurricane
Melissa is now a Category five, packing winds of over
one hundred and fifty miles an hour bearing down on
the Northern Caribbean.

Potential rainfall mounts in excess of three feet over heavily
mountainous terrain that is almost certain to create catastrophic flooding,

It went everywhere this weekend, even ESPN picking this up.
So take yourselves back to last week the Lions Bucks
game at Ford Field. A woman named Heather said, this
kid walked through a row in a Piston's jersey. We
were all joking around in a fun way about him
being at the wrong game, which had us all laughing,
including him. He then said he didn't have a Lion's jersey,

so he wore that one. I said, who's your favorite
Lions player? He pointed to my shirt, which had a
giant picture of Jamir Gibbs on it. I looked at
my husband. We said we have to go buy him
a jersey. So they went to the Spirit shop bottom
a jersey came back. This kid had no idea. Meanwhile,
the woman behind them videoed the entire thing. It has
gone absolutely viral, millions of views. This kid is literally

jaw on the floor. His buddies go absolutely wild. And
this woman said, hey, your first Lions game, make it memorable.

That's really cool.

But that was a very cool story.

Oh that's very cool, And that's what I love about sports.

just a classic example right there.

speaking of that, the MHSA playoffs were announced selections Sunday yesterday,
so a lot of area teams. I can't take you
through all of them, but some of the highlights. And
then what are games of the week are going to be?
For Week one?

The Drive to Ford Field presented by vandal at Home
Improvement on ninety six to one the game and one
oh seven m us The Moose so in Division one,
Jennison is in Hudsonville this week Granville at Rockford East
Kentwood got thrown out of that district. They will host
Grand Ledge now in Region one District two. So cool
for the Falcons to host in Division two, and this
will be our Lake Shore game of the week, the
rematch Monas Shores at Muskegan. How fun is that?

Six thirty pre game coverage on one o seven m
us The Moose Byron Center gets a home game in
Division two. They will host Portage Northern in Division three.

heals a Week one matchup. That's the rematch. But our
game is going to be two teams we haven't covered
yet eight and one Cedar Springs at seven and two.
