breaking news we have been following since yesterday afternoon. Israel
and Hamas has agreed to a ceasefire and hostage prisoner exchange.
They're calling this a first phase.

Resident Trump announcing that historic peace deal between Israel and
Hamas that will free all forty eight hostages. It's estimated
that twenty of those hostages still alive. The President's saying
he expects those hostages to be set free on Monday.
After all the hostages are released, then Israel will begin
to release two hundred and fifty prisoners in the longer

term of this deal. Some challenges still remain. Disarming Hamas
is a key one. Also, Hamas may still want to
try and play a role in future governance of Gaza.
That's something Israel says is not going to happen.

And we see the world reacting to this potential piece.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer calls it a moment of
profound relief for the hostages, they're families, and for the
civilian population of Gaza who have all injured unimaginable suffering.
He's praised that Trump administration plus mediators cut our Egypt
and Turkey for getting talks to the stage. France holds

a summit on Gaza's future today. President Immanuel Macron says
all parties to the deal must uphold its terms. The
UN's humanitarian chiefs calling for an urgent surge of aid
to Gaza to begin. Iran meanwhile is calling the agreement
of victory for its ally Hamas Jonathan Savage Fox.

News funding for the government and the fight over negotiations
continues now. President Trump is warning he may refuse to
pay some workers even after the shutdown ends. Speaking to
reporters yesterday, he was guaranteed. Asked about the guaranteed back
pay for federal workers.

It has always been the case at is tradition, and
I think it is statutory law that federal employees be paid,
and that's my position. I think they should be. They
should not be subjected to harm and financial dire straits
because Chuck Shumer wants to play political games.

That was House Speaker Mike Johnson asking if he agrees
with the president. And a Florida man is accused of
maliciously igniting the Palisades fire back in January that killed
twelve people in la.

Us Attorney Bill Is Sanley says Jonathan Rinderneckt was living
in the Palisades working as an uber driver when he
allegedly set a fire that smoldered underground before reigniting a
week later to become the Palisades Fire.

This arrest, we hope will provide a measure of justice
to all those who were impacted.

The twenty nine year old from central Florida charged with
destruction of property by means of fire, official setting. Evidence
including video surveillance that put him at the scene.

AHTF has determined that the fire was ignited with an open.
