Brett mckita. Adam Arochow is here in Schmidty is broadcasting
live down the hall for the very important twenty sixth
annual Radiothon for Helendvoss Children's Hospital. You can give it

Well, that's exactly where we are going to start the
twenty sixth annual Radiothon for Helendavos Children's Hospital. Of course
we want you listening to Wood Radio twenty four to seven,
but if you do want to take a little bit

today and tomorrow as we try to raise as much

Symphony presenting Holiday Pops. You can kick off the holiday
season with the Symphony playing your favorite Christmas songs. And

them all the cool instruments, this is the time to
do it. We've got a show Friday night, two shows

Trombone was my first instrument actually, and the only reason
I played it was because we had one in the
basement and my parents didn't have to buy one.

So little Adam was storming around playing the trombone.

There was and I still have that trombone and I
can still play that trombone.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Did you hurt anybody when you extended it out?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
My brother? Yeah, that's ours. Of course, he played trumpet.
That's the thing about trombone.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
A big weekend the ice skating at Rosa Park Circle
officially opens up tomorrow. The weather has cooperated and they've
got a nice rink for you out there, and you
can pre register online for your time, so that's really cool.
Skate rentals included with the price of admission, so get
downtown make sure you do some ice skating.

Be careful though.

Dutch Winterfest is going on this weekend, already started running
through Sunday out in Holland. It's located at the Tulip
Time Festival site Goying All and while you're there, the
Holland Cursed Market will be opened this weekend. It's a
Dutch tradition featuring local artisans showcasing their handmade gifts. A
couple Santa parades this weekend. Rockford has their Santa Parade

Saturday at eleven Grand Haven Jingle Bell Parade. It's going
down Saturday night in downtown Grand Haven. Starts at six,
ends with a community tree lighting and if you're into it,
breakfast with the Big Guy at Rivertown Crossing. Santa will
be making an appearance from ten to noon. You can
break bread with them and then get your picture taken,
so enjoy that. If you want to meet Santa now.

Siberian Orchestra Van Andel Arena, two shows, two thirty and
seven thirty, and they've just released more tickets both shows.

got show or tickets available for both shows and the
two thirty show. A portion of those ticket sales does
go to Radio Thon. So if you're gonna pick one,

TSS Oh my goodness, I know you have, right, Steve,
I've never seen the TSL.

Oh, it's an unbelievable show. You'll be blown away. I
didn't know what to expect. And this was years ago.
I mean, they've taken this show to like the next level. Sure,
but I have seen it at Van Andel Arena. I
saw it at the old DeVos Place, back in the
DeVos Place, but DeVos Hall Civic.

Yeah, back in the auditorium. Yeah, nope.

They used to have it there when it started, and
then they took it big time. And I tell you,
at the arena it.

Rocks well, and we're giving away tickets this morning, so

just the last few things, our holiday favorites. Christmas Light
Show at LMCU Ballpark. Chris Kindlemarket is open this weekend
and enlightened at the Frederick Meyer Gardens.
