West Michigan Weekend September 4-7

This weekend kicks off the Allegan County Fair and tons of other fun events here in West Michigan!

It's been the Alligan County Fair Show because it gets
underway technically tomorrow and we've been talking about all the
shows that we've seen over the years and some of
the great food at Schmide. You have the floor and.

There is so much. It's the amazing acts that they
get every year. This is one of them. Country Superstar
Cole Swindel with special guest Connor Smith. This is Saturday
Nights music headliner. But Tomorrow night we've got Gabriel Iglesias
aka Fluffy the Comedian, as well as Jeff Dunham. Oh yeah,
everybody loves that. That is tomorrow night's show. They've also

got the Moto Sports, the off Road, the Demolition Derby,
the Big Parade. It's going to be a week long
family fun event again the Alligan County Fair. You can

country superstar in town. Jason Alde is here tonight. He
has taken over Vanandelerina. This is a giant show. Nate Smith,

Raylan and DJ Silver on this tour as well. I
do believe a few tickets left, but doors are at
seven point thirty and it's going to be packed downtown
gr tonight. Also this evening. I feel like this is
kind of a hot tip. Smokey Robinson is at the
Frederick Meyer Gardens Wow and this is not sold out.

just checked this morning. There are still a few tickets left.
So if you want to see the legend in one
of the best venues in West Michigan tonight.

There's just the slightest chance that we could see a shower.
I mean, look at it out there. It's beautiful, you
know what.

I was at Andy Grammar a couple of weeks ago
and the Heavens opened for like eight minutes and there
there was no problem and the amazing staff started pulling
trash bags and letting people use him as pons. Show tonight,
I've got you covered, Absolutely, We've got you covered. Ah.
This is kind of a cool throw show. This weekend
is the Antique Engine and Tractor Show in South Haven.

If you feel like taking a little road trip Total
Slice of Americana. It starts today and goes through Sunday.
One of the biggest shows in the Midwest. For this one,
Ah no pun intended. Oh did vintage tractors use fire? Yeah?
Col baby, Oh, there we go, vintage tractors. Really really

cool stuff for the kids too. A couple of fun
events at our John Ball Zoo Tomorrow Night Locked Zoo.
Another one of those events fab Forest. So this is
kind of an after hours event they do like an
escape room style event inside the zoo. Wow, it's really
really cool. And then I know my kids would personally

love this. On Sunday it is safety Day at the Zoo,
so local first responders, super fun, hands on activities, and
just great lessons for the kids. Plus we'll get to
see cool things like police cars. We always have to
point those out when we're driving. My experience for the
escape rooms, I'd probably never get out of the zoo.
I wouldn't find my way out. Brett has become an exhibit.

It works perfectly. On Saturday. This is going to be
a lot of fun. It is the record breaking cake
walk back by popular demand. This is our amazing friends
at nothing, Bunt Cakes teaming up with Consumers Credit Union
and it benefits be Nice and the Special Olympics, so
it's at the Unified Sports and Inclusion Center on sixty eighth.
They're trying to break a world record, so it'd be

really fun. And then finally Saturday night, Steve Martin and
Martin Short are here. This is the big show, their
stand up show at de Voss Performance All.

We have tickets to give it away before nine o'clock
this morning for that show, so.

Good word has it. Steve Kelly will be in attendee.
