Ah, little Christmas music as we talk about weekend events.
This is West Michigan's Morning News Steve Kelly and bred
Bekta Schmidty with a much needed day off today and
I'm a road show out of the producers, both here
to discuss stuff going on outside of Thanksgiving. Adam, what's
coming up?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah, well, actually we will start with one thing going
on tomorrow, and we talked to them earlier in the week.
It's the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation Turkey Trot. That's right, folks,
move your feet before you eat tomorrow morning, the thirty
third annual Turkey Trot or Turkey Trot right outside of
Van Andel Arena, and you can register same day. So
if you wake up tomorrow morning and feel like, man,
(00:40):
I want to do something before I eat my weight
in Thanksgiving food, that's where you're going to want to be.
Starts around eight o'clock. You can hear the full interview
with Stephanie Andrews in the podcast section at woodradio dot

You've got handmade arts and crafts, sweet treats, and you
can sip on some hot cocoa or spiked apple cider
while you're shopping. That goes from eleven till three at
(01:19):
the Fulton Street Market. And then of course our Christkindle
Market will be open all weekend and as we talked
about yesterday, the ninth best Christmas market in the country
according to the Independence over in Europe. So we've got
quite a thing here.

against the Iowa Wild Friday Night is the annual Teddy
Bear Toss, so make sure you bring that stuffed animal

their first goal, you get to toss that bad boy
out onto the ice and all of those stuffed animals
go to kids with critical illnesses here in West Michigan.
