Time now for our field Better segmentbecause michaela. Because good news matters,
Mindy Dreyer brought to you each weekby Mosquito Authority. No Mosquitos, no
past, no contracts guaranteed. Aseason without Mosquitos is definitely good news.
Check it out at bugsbite dot com. So part of our good news segment

(00:21):
today is just really how far women'ssports have come. I mean, we're
watching this game right now, SouthCarolina is beating Iowa seventy six to sixty
four. But the interest in thisgame and in the Final Four, and
women's basketball and women's sports in periodhas just grown immensely. So we're going
to take you back to last Sunday. We were not here because it was

(00:42):
easter. I was so thankful becauseOhio State played Northwestern. We're talking softball,
obviously, if you're a regular listener, you know my daughter's a shortstop
for the buck guys, and theywere playing Northwestern. It was the third
time they played them in the BigTen. You play once on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday. You try towin the series. Northwestern has one of
the best pit in the Big Ten. Her era was point seven something.

(01:03):
Basically era is earned runs allowed. What that means, Mikayla not a lot
of people can hit her, letalone score off her better than any other
pitcher in the Big Ten at thepoint when they were playing Ohio State,
so basses were loaded shockingly and Cammysteps up there. Now, what a
lot of people don't know is youget your own walk up songs, and

(01:26):
they get to pick four different walkup songs. So the first time you're
at bat, you play one specificwalk up song, second time you're at
bat, you play a different walkup song, third time you're at bat,
you play a third whatever walk upsong that you want, you get
it. So these are the samewalk up songs throughout the entire season for
each individual player, or for Cammyit was her third at bat, basses

(01:47):
were loaded, there were two outs. Remember this is Easter Sunday, so
all season long, whenever she's upthe bat third time in the game,
this is her song that she playsfor everybody to hear. Go ahead and
play it, Hannah, God Believe, crosses Godlie. Normally you played these

(02:22):
loud, get the crowd into it, and she does that for her other
ones. Let's get it's done exactly. But for her third at bat.
This is what she chooses because she'svery strong in her faith. So Cam
that's the walk up song. Bassesare loaded, two outs on Easter Sunday
and she hits a grand Slam.It was an amazing little video online.

(02:43):
I thought, I was like,my jaw dropped. So is God.
We were just talking about, youknow, do we leave him out of
sports? Do you put him insports? God has a hand in everything.
It was just the perfect moment forher on Easter Sunday. I hit
the ground crying. I couldn't andI'm like, no way, this is
just too perfect for her, asstrong as she is in her faith.
Absolutely, my good news is different. But I want to I have something

(03:07):
now that you've mentioned what you've mentioned, I want to share because I've been
following this online. Have you seenthese shirts that everybody has been wearing,
celebrities have been wearing. I havenot. Let me see. I'm looking
at yours. Everyone watches women's sports, so that's cool. Jason Sudeikas,
who is ted Lasso, he waswearing it at one of the basketball games

(03:29):
the game to Ye now today,so he must have been at another game
earlier this week. Was Katelyn Clark. That was a comedian that I just
showed Mindy who was wearing it.Because everybody who watches women's sports. Everybody
watches women's sports. This is athing, guys, and it's not going
anywhere. And I'm proud of thewomen who are out there. The Caitlin's

(03:50):
the camis doing what they're doing andreally bringing a lot of a lot of
positivity, a lot of passion towhat they do. I think that's very
cool. I wonder if the WNBAwill get more viewership once Caitlin Clark goes
there. Let's be honest, peopleare watching this right now because she is
amazing and it's just fun to watch. If she could be blindfolded and make

(04:11):
every single shot, I don't careif it's a half court shot, I
bet people. I bet more peoplewill watch it. Definitely interesting to see
what was your other good news.So this is just like a really helpful
tip that I thought is amazing. You and I we'd had to wash a
lot of clothes, sand clothes tothe dry cleaners and we really don't want
to because it's expensive laundry. Well, check this out. You can take
a picture of the label on anythingthat you're on a smartphone, on anything

(04:34):
that you wear, you swipe up. Do you see what it says under
that picture says look up laundry Care. Saturday, April sixth, twenty minutes
the hour or so you take apicture, look up laundry care comes up
when you swipe up. Mindy,it is going to tell you what those
symbols say on your piece of clothingand how to do it when you don't

(04:58):
know what the symbols might mean.Flat drying in shade, ironing maximum one
hundred and ten celsius, do notdry clean wash by hand. Do this
will read you take a picture ofthe label inside your clothes, and it
will tell you how to wash itwhen you don't understand all the hieroglyphics.
From time to time, Oh mygosh, is that new. It must
be new to iPhone or newer.I had no clue, so I just

(05:19):
it was good news to me becauseI'm like, help me save money on
my laundry and not having to takea bunch of stuff to that What those
labels even meant? You know withthose little pictures all you don't, So
