(00:01):
So we were not on the airlast Sunday because it was Easter. But
boy, we're making up for ittoday because we have segment after interview after
interview after segment. We are Jampackwith Caama. We are Brian Hes with
Tattletale will be in with us,and we're excited to talk to him.
You know, after thinking about safetyand security while I was in New York
City. We have a lot ofquestions for Brian actually, because I think

(00:21):
his product is a little bit ofeverywhere. You know, what he wants
to tackle today. There's a lotof people in Ohio who have two homes.
You know, you have a Floridahome and a lot of squatters,
squatting situations are going on. Hehas the answer of how to keep that
second home safe. That's what hewas talking about over a Texter. I
was wondering what that was about.Okay, got it. On top of

(00:42):
that, we have Senior Star inwith us. It's this group that has
a couple of different senior living locationshere in Columbus. But mindy, they
do so much more for seniors indifferent walks of life, including those with
Parkinson's and so they have some programs. Kelly Dmouth and Betsy love It are
going to come on and talk tous about how seniors can tap into those

(01:03):
programs if they've been diagnosed with Parkinson. So I think a really important conversation.
And if you're a parent or agrandparent, my gosh, you have
to realize that your kids are onlineor grandkids all the time. How do
you keep them safe? It's sucha worry for families. The Center for
Family Safety and Healing they're going tobe in studio as well to talk about
that because it is such a worryfor us parents. You can get exploited

(01:26):
is so much online. I amconstantly trying to make sure that the privacy
and security settings are on my kidsstuff. It's not easy either because there's
ways to get around it. Soright, that'll be a good conversation,
and then we'll end things with theOhio Chamber of Commerce because what's tomorrow.
As we were just talking about theeclipse, I can't believe there's a part

(01:49):
of me that I'm shocked that somany schools are closing down for the eclipse.
I'm like, this is the societythat we live in. Do you
agree with that? Should schools closefor the eclipse. But I guess I
didn't realize how long we might bedark Westerville. I live in Westerville.
We are not in the path oftotality, and we aren't in Hilliard either,
and I think schools are. Butour schools are closed, and I
think we can make that a littlebit of a hot topic. But Matt

(02:10):
mcclaren'll come in to talk about theimpact of the economy, some of the
things going on, and he'll beinto talk with us about that. So
what did you think should schools closefor this eclipse or should they not close?
I was really confused because we areon spring break and officially it should
have been over on Monday. Theyshould have been back in school on Monday.
But we got an email about amonth or two ago saying that school

(02:32):
was going to be closed for theeclipse. I couldn't quite figure it out.
But I think I'm in better shapenow, I'll tell you that.
And as Miny and I were discussingbefore the show, it's not just going
to be dark for two minutes, now, is my understanding. I mean,
this is like a two hour windowwhere it's going to be darker dimmer

(02:53):
totality is dark for two or threeminutes. And I know I'm getting that
wrong. Don't quote me on that, but for that few minutes, that
is darkness. But so many Idon't know. I think there's going to
be a lot of people here incentral Ohio because we're in the path,
or parts of us are in thepath, and I think they weren't sure
how traffic would affect bussing. Ithink that might have been part of the

(03:15):
decision. Okay, so we dowant to make that a hot topic.
If you have an opinion on that, let us know. At six one
four, eight, two, one, nine, eight eighty six, we
are watching the championship game with Iowaor Caitlin Clark against South Carolina. This
was my hot topic for the day. Coach Day the coach, the head
coach of South Carolina went on recordsaying this God is really funny. Staley

(03:38):
said, with confetti in her hands, He's really funny. The devastating loss
that we had last year. Heput us back here with a totally different
team. If you don't believe inGod, something is wrong with you.
Seriously. I'm a believer. I'ma believer because he makes things come true
when you're at your worst, he'sat his best. Look at him.

(03:58):
So she made that statement, Well, obviously it exploded. Some people were
like, how can you put Godinto sports? And you shouldn't say things
like that. Don't bring God upbecause it's gonna offend some people. What
I loved about Coach Daily was thiswas her response to people criticizing her for
bringing up God. So listen towhat she said. I mean, it's

(04:19):
a figure of speech. If youcan't comprehend that, then tune me out,
like tun me out, because I'mnot here to offend anybody. I'm
not here. That is not mymakeup, that's not my character. So
if you're just tuning in for oneinterview and you've probably heard it from somebody
else and heard it from somebody elseand it's hearsay, then you can have

(04:40):
your take on it. I'm notapologizing. I'm not gonna apologize for what
I said and what I feel becauseI know my life and I know why.
I love that she's not apologizing. So many times people get caught up
in a moment and they say thingsfrom their heart and then they get called
out and people are like, Okay, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said

(05:00):
that. I love that she bringsup God. You and I bring up
God all the time on here wedo. And why can't both God and
sport and science and all of thesethings exist together? Right? Like?
Why can't? Why does why?Why can't we have that element inside in
activity in extracurricular a career, Like, there's nothing wrong with that. I

(05:24):
can't believe she took heat for sayingfor sin and I love that she didn't
apologize. So as much as Ilike her being like that, they are
winning, but I also like howgood Caitlin Clark is. I don't like
the fact that people are saying CaitlinClark is getting all this media attention because
she's white and a good basketball player. Yeah, come on, leave Race

(05:44):
out of it. True daily isthe Yukon coach. Yes, she's South
Carolina coming right now, fifty fiveto forty eight, got it? She
is? Wow. So I justthought that was kind of interesting. And
you know, I used to feelthat way as a coach's wife. I
used to feel guilty to win.Oh, please let them win, you
know, please, dear got it? And then one of the moms,
one of the longtime players of Randy's. One of his moms said, no,

(06:08):
don't feel that way because God's involvedin everything, everything in our life.
Everything. You don't pick and choosewhen God comes around and when you
you know, a lot of timespeople pray only when times are tough.
But I like that statement of youknow, when you're at your worst,
God is that his best? Well, and think about it from Yukon's position,
And that's why I was thinking aboutYukon. You know, you've seen
the play. So many people haveseen the play. Oh, the moving

(06:30):
screen, the moving screen, andyou know, some people say this is
a lot of the sports commentators.I saw it the day after. A
foul is a foul, is afowl. There's other not God in that.
It just is what it is.It happens so like. But they
were like, no, the refsdid that because they wanted Caitlin Clark to
go to the championship game. Becauseyou know, there were what fourteen point

(06:51):
three million people who tuned in tothe Final four game. There's probably more
watching this right now. And Iowawas off to a big start at first,
the big lead, and now they'redown fifty one for Iowa fifty five
for South Carolina. That's a greatgame, great game, glad we have
it on. So those were hottopics. That's some of the things on
our mind. As always, youcan check out our Facebook page What Matters
