of game. But I'm looking at the gym she was in,
and there was a match, so it could have been
before a wrestling match. So listen to this. Sound producer, Chris,

Can you imagine going to watch your son or daughter
whatever Wressell and this girl, middle school girl, just says
the national anthem, not the socks off.

I mean, you'd be sitting there like blown back, like
I bet everyone was sitting there with their mouth open
like it's like we are.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
That was incredible.

That was God given right there.

Incredible. Wow. Who do you have a good news story
to share? Oh?

Well I do because a few months ago my dad
had a stroke and he it was an intense stroke.
I mean it was and he is in his eighties,
and I am so thrilled and feeling so grateful to
announce that he is doing really well. I mean he
is walk he should use his walker, and he's a
little stubborn about that.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Well, it's that generation.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
It's crazy. And when I try to help him, he
kind of like, I help you, hold on to you,
you don't hold onto me. I mean it's.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
But Debbie, that's really I mean. And I because he's
how old exactly eighty eight eighty eight and he had
a stroke.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yes, on May twentieth he had And I told him,
I said, Dad, you are an example for other people
much younger than you, yep, and your age, that perseverance, prayer,
doing what you need to do and having people who
can advocate for you when you know what, if you're
out there and you have a loved one, go to

that doctor's appointment with them. If they're in the hospital,
stay with them, stay there. My sisters and I and
my mother, we took turns and we were always there
for him to advocate for him.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
That's not good news, that's great news. Can you even
worry about our parents when they're in their eighties they
have a stroke and now he's doing outstanding. W I'm
glad you shared that with us.
