of What Matters Show.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
So I have a really fun, funny good news story.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
I came across this and I'm gonna play it for
you because it's a story that was done about a
horse and apparently this horse should get the Academy Award
for what it's come up with. It's not nearly as
strong if you if you would see the video that
goes along with you, it's so much stronger because you're
seeing what this horse is doing. But listen to the

(00:59):
audio part of it too. It's pretty impressive. Chris, go
ahead and play this story about this horse.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
In the end, there is a horse named Tom.

Speaker 6 (01:09):
He has become a master of disguise because he doesn't
want to work. Whenever someone tries to ride him, Tom
immediately falls to the ground, rolling his eyes and breathing heavily,
as if he is about to die. Even when someone
presents his favorite carrot, he won't take a bite. Only
when no one is around does Tom quietly stand up.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
To enjoy the delicious carrot, But.

Speaker 6 (01:29):
As soon as someone approaches, he instantly resumes his.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Act with half a carrot in his mouth.

Speaker 6 (01:35):
Tom is eight years old this year and suddenly mastered
this trick two years ago. At first, his owner was
scared by his behavior, thinking he was sick, and even
took him to the veterinarian, but everything checked out fine.
After experiencing multiple deceptions, the owner finally understood that Tom
was just acting.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
His careful design.

Speaker 6 (01:54):
Is true, as he doesn't get hurt and even the
person falling off won't be injured.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
In fact, when Tom pretends.

Speaker 6 (01:59):
To be dead, he also carefully observes his surroundings as
if preparing for his performance.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
One could say his acting skills.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
Rival those of a star, and he definitely has the
potential to win an oscar.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
What is that so funny?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Anytime they go to like go to put a saddle
on this horse, they think that they're gonna just ride him.
He's like no, so he falls over, So you can't
ride this horse.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Tom the Horse a horse I like mister ed but
in reverse, like Tom can't do anything, but he I saw.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
That video, Mickayla, and I start laughing so hard, and
to see it, I don't know if you could just
look up Tom, Tom falls, Tom the horse falls over.
There's a lot of conversations today about falling, and it
started with you, Chris, when we scared you and you
fell to the ground. Maybe I guess Tom doesn't need
to have a watch because he wants to fall.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
How you know funny?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
And it's how you know?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Did I tell you about my family and how they
start to make fun of me in my laugh?

Speaker 4 (02:57):
I love your laugh.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Because I didn't know I did you really know? I'm
laughing it if I'm laughing, and I go always.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
When laughs, like her whole body shakes it so funny shake.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
And that's how I feel about Tom the Horse. I mean,
I like literally was stifling a little bit.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Oh that was good, and the voiceover was good.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Okay, Minnie's family is the family that believes.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
You know, the family that works out together stays together.
And it's so true. So I think you're gonna love
this story. This actually came within the last week.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
A centenarian so one hundred right birthday celebrated in an
extraordinary way by completing a five minute plank at the YMCA.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Everyone in the family did this together.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
No, no, just the one hundred year old.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Actually, other people couldn't keep up with her, so the
gallandred year old, the one hundred year old Geraldine Jerry Leo.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Other family members to do this along with Herbert.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
So she demonstrated remarkable stamina and coordinations. You're in an
aerobics class and the rest of the class stopped at
two minutes, but she held her plank for it's a plank, guys,
this is not easy. Three more minutes, impressing both instructors
and classmates.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Can you do a five minute plank? I'm sure as heck. No,
I can't do a five minute plank right now.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I could probably, I haven't done one in a while,
but for some reason I don't mind doing planks, so
pull ups, no way.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I can't even do one.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I never liked pull ups, so planks it's upper body
and core strength. Is that the most part of what When.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
You sit there, you look down and you're not to
have your butt in the air. You just are a
plank and you stay as still as you can five minutes. Yeah,
that would be hard to try and commercial brain. Oh god,
I had to work up to it because I really
used to mind. I didn't mind doing planks. There was
that was one thing I could.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
What do you do right now?

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Like?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
What is your deal?

Speaker 5 (04:53):

next level? I'm always working out some What is.

Speaker 3 (04:56):

is working out in the.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Do you run?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Like?

Speaker 6 (05:05):

There's a bike in there, there's a rower in there,
there's all kinds of things.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Maybe he's in great shape.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I don't think I'm in great shape. I know I'm
not getting any younger. So you have to stay active.
And Randy stays extremely active. We have two active kids.
You do I'm not going to be the one out
of the four of us that doesn't work out. And
I think it's so important for your mind, body and

Speaker 1 (05:39):
You know what, it's a healthy thing. When two people
who are married do this together.

and the other one isn't.
