It has to do with how it's made.

They do some cool things with it, and they have

I just wanted to know one more thing.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Sure, Hello, are you there will.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Be able to make ice cream?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
You?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I mean, I have a feeling you might be able to.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
We don't know all of the details, but there's I
think there's a pretty good chance you might be able to.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I'm sure you're gonna be able to taste test too.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, okay, okay, hang on the phone. Ashley will get
your information. I do have to say, speaking of making
ice cream, I bought an ice cream maker a few
years ago and I've never used it.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I just kind of put it in storage when we moved.
I think I want to do it like soon.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Randy's brother Rob, who passed away years ago, was the
one in the family that always made homemade ice cream,
so they continued that tradition. So every year when we
go on our beat vacation, the brothers and sisters, they ah.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
What a thing.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Well, I called it up.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
I have nothing to do this week, Thank goodness. The
fair is still going on. But I think I might
make ice cream with the kids. So good idea, Joe,
I think I might start. I have a couple of
options up. There's one that I think has a little
bit of caramel in it, and I think I'm going
to try yeah, vanilla, but classic vanilla is really good
homemade ice cream.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Well, the good news that I kind of teed up
before earlier in the show was just I went to
this white party. Yeah, and everybody had to wear white.
It really did look elegant. It was really something I've
never It felt like I was like in a Hollywood
movie or something, because you don't see stuff like that
every day.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
It was very elegant. I looked it up.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
It's like starting all over again. So it was an
anniversary party for Arti Taylor and his awesome wife Christine.
We got to know them because Artie was a longtime
basketball coach at Ohio Dominican for about ten years, and
then he was the high school basketball coach at Wellington,
so Randy and Arty always played against each other. Well,
the last year or so, he's been really seriously diagnosed
(04:55):
with cancer. I mean to where you didn't think his
life was going to go on anymore. And he's living
right now because of experimental drugs. But you know what
I just said, there, he's living and he is this person.
And when I saw him last night, I gave him
a big old hug and I said, I am so
proud of you. You look great. You're such a fighter
(05:15):
because he's not letting life or death dictate how he
lives his days. So he had his fiftieth birthday celebration
and this anniversary of their twenty four years, so they
renewed their vows kind of like my anniversary party. Dixie
just walked in, Who's going to be in the next hour?
And it was just a beautiful ceremony. No one feeling sorry,
(05:37):
no one feeling bad, just so excited to celebrate another day.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
And you don't know about these.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Experimental drugs, but why not because his life is extending
and he is If you know.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Ardie Taylor, you know a pistol.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
He's just an outstanding, outstanding man who's touched so many
lives through coaching basketball.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
I love that so many of those coaches that Randy
knows and Randy himself are that way. I will tag
something onto this because it's very purposeful. Tag and I
didn't know you have the story. I didn't know about
the White Party and what it was we do. Like,
I don't know if you've heard about this or not,
but speaking of experimental drugs and cancers, this just came
out from Neil de Grasse Tyson, who's a pretty well
known scientist like the world over. Scientists at the University
(06:22):
of Florida have developed a breakthrough mRNA vaccine that may
be able to fight almost any type of cancer without
needing chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation. It works by reprogramming the
immune system to identify and destroy tumors, even in cases
where traditional treatments have failed. So this is used in
(06:44):
The vaccine doesn't directly target cancer cells. Instead, it delivers
instructions that push cancer cells to produce this protein, and
this protein acts like a flag, making hidden tumors more
visible to the immune system and once exposed the immune
system can launch an attack even against resistant cancers.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Sounds like immunology where I mean, what was my mom on?
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Yeah yeah, I mean, but like this is amazing. So
the paper on this just came out. There's hope and
there's always hope, hope.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
I think when there's hope and there's God and power
of prayer, anything can happen. So that's why I was saying,
no matter what you're going through in life, never ever
give up because no one knows. And enjoy every day.
And that's what they were doing last night. So it
was just so cool to be part of that.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
You have pictures you have showed me in the break.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
I didn't take any.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
You just were enjoying.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
I wanted to be in the moment.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Yah right, I love it.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
I forget your birthday, but what oh yeah, I did
take a picture of us.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Look at that. Well, guys, that is what matters. Manby
just served it up and we all served it up.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
We got so much coming up next, including the latest
in real estate and home decord.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
