Breed of dog, which is what Mikayla I always set
Golden Retriever, but that's not true. It's a German Shepherd.
We played with the one at the beach last night.

And a lot of a lot of different police departments
across the country used German Shepherds for police work. Well,
there was a woman who died who her she had
a canine and she was died years later. Her little
eight year old daughter wanted this canine, wanted her mom's
She wouldn't talk, she wouldn't talk after the death of

her mom, who was a police officer, but she wanted
this dog. So I'm just gonna read. Normally I tell
you things, we talk about things, but This was so
beautifully written that I'm going to read you this good
news story. Lily. That's a little eight year old girl's name. Lily,
a quiet little girl entered a police dog auction holding
a jar of coins. She wasn't there out of curiosity.

She wanted to bring home Max, the retired police dog
who had worked with her late mom, Officer Hannah Parker.
After losing her mom, Lily stopped speaking, but kept her
mother's lessons close, loved deeply, and never quit. While bids
climbed passed three thousand dollars, Lily quietly placed her fifty

two dollars and sixteen cent offer. Some chuckled until Max barked,
broke loose, and ran straight to her. Sitting faithfully by
Lily's side, Silence filled the room, touched by the connection.
Others withdrew their bids, allowing Lily to be reunited with Max.

This moment was more than money. It was about devotion,

But that bond is so beautiful. I am so happy
for that little girl. So when I saw that story,
I'm like, this has to be.

Yeah, it was really. The reporter did a really nice
job with us. So this is sweet too in a
different way. There is something on Twitter that has thirteen
million views at this point.

The Las Vegas Aces have something called the baby Crawl
Race and it happens across the basketball floor and there's
one there's one little girl who was coming out front,
immediate front runner in this race. Again, look at at
WNBA and all these babies are going to their moms

and this little girl stands up.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Oh my god, and takes her first steps.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Ever, No way baby crawl.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I can't believe those were her first steps.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
So they go talk to the mom afterwards, and she
doesn't even know what to do. The girl had never
walked before.

Are the moms all players?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
No, this is like one of those crowd things you
know that are done in between, like because sometime she
has a jersey on, but she looks like she also
might be pregnant too. That little girl, Yeah, it was her.
They're all just aces fans her first steps. So if

Twitter and you see this little girl take her first

steps when she's competing in the Baby Girl.

That's like the best thing to come out of the
w NBA this season, you know, instead of people beating
up on Kate. I know, but can you imagine when
that baby grows up and she'll see that video her.

First like the first steps are on camera for the
world to see. So that was my good news.

This is why we do good news every week because
sometimes we get sick and tired of the doom. In
the gloom, we had people picking on one another. It's
nice to share the good news.

We've got some contestants from American Ninja Warrior Junior that

They've definitely taken their first steps, probably as soon as
they came out of the mom's belly.
