life I'm like, I just would rather watch it at home.
And I've been to the biggest games in that stadium,
And not to take away from any game at all,
Ohio State against Rutgers, but it is Ohio State against Rutgers.

And when you are right there in the thick of
that stadium in the Horseshoe, when Ohio State is playing
that team up north the year that they were ranked
one and two, it doesn't get any better or bigger
than that. I've been to some great, great games there.
I feel very, very honored and thankful to have had
those opportunities. But then you get to that part in
your life and you're like, let other people go and enjoy.

But to be back down there tailgating and seeing that
you know what, I just had to smile to myself
when I see that horse shoe filled with Buckeye nation,
the colors, the beautiful colors of scarlet and gray, and
just to hear that roar. It made me very thankful
to be back there.

Yeah, really, I know what. I didn't think I would
miss it like it, But it was great. It was
a great feeling to be back in what a beautiful day.

to go through to get in there, so it takes
some time.

to a certain age you just don't want to deal

high tailing it. I'm like, cause we're planning to meet Cammy.
Cammy was the one who provided these tickets for us.
She had tickets to give away to her family and

different friends and stuff, and we were going to tailgated
and meet her when you can because she's on the schedule.
She's working for the department. They have like department, but
there's a certain window we can actually go and see her.
So I was like a mom on a mission. Come on.
Randy's like, you know, we see Cammy about every day
because she's living with us right now. I'm like, it
doesn't matter. Any opportunity you get to see your kids,
you do. So I'm used to walking fast and it's

no big deal for me. Well, poor Randy's a big
dude and he's trying to keep up. He's trying to walk.

So today he said, I think, man, I think my
calves feeling.

And he has great out I know, and he works
out a lot, but when you don't speed walk like
we did. But we reached it in time, had a
great time with great people, and I was very thankful
to be back in the thick of it with all
of you Buckeye fans. It was great again to be
back there. That's awesome.

Yeah, we had Hilliard Idol yesterday.

So it's like American Idol, but Hilliard does it. And
these kids are amazing Christians group performed. His a cappella
group performed, but he was not a finalist. There are
ten junior finalists, ten senior finalists, and mindy these kids
in Hilliard. One of the judges says, I don't know
what's in the water over here, but some of you
have some of the most talented kids when it comes

to vocals. And so it was just a real joy
that was That was like three a three and a
half hours for me last night. So that was a
big commitment last night in my world?

Did someone really stand out to you that you think
yourself of? Now, what's the age range? Did you say

So, it's a junior group and a senior group, but
the junior group can be elementary kids. But there was
a fifth grader, a boy who sang Fireflies, you know
the song that I'm talking about.

Yeah, he was amazing.

He was the people's choice. But who who was even
more amazing than that? No, because he did. He wasn't
a finalist. He did great though when it came to Yeah,

any kind of coach, whatever you love to do. But
I think naturally some people have it or they don't,
and she did.

I was shocked for her to be eleven years old,
and I wish I had a video of it. She
literally stunned me. Here's a quick snippet of their performance.

it was it was great, and yeah it was very good.

ballrooms in the entire USA, and it's a beautiful ballroom,

but they have dances every Friday night. This upcoming Friday
is a little different.

Yeah, it's the Beat Michigan Dance and they're gonna have
a DJ there. I know she talked about that and
as well. Yeah, and the band as well. So if
you're looking for something great to do on Friday night,
it's an awesome option. And we have some tickets to
give away.

We're gonna give away tickets to that coming up in
the second hour. And obviously Thanksgiving is Thursday, and a
lot of us love it because you get to see
family that you haven't seen her. It's just that whole
feeling of togetherness. But if we're really honest, it can
be also a little difficult because maybe you've lost a
loved one and this is your first Thanksgiving without your

parent or grandparent or friend or cousin, and then it's
kind of difficult, it really is.

There may be some other kind of rift in your
family too, and you're showing up to a difficult spot.

when it can be hard.

a segment with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. How well do
you really know these musicians, the people who live and
breathe the symphony.

The Dollar Store is perfect, especially when decorating for Christmas

us Christmas decorations that we have just collected, so we
have just an assortment. So the little house in India
Lake is nothing like that.

Well, I love that you brought up the dollar store
thing because I've been seeing dollar store dupes and we'll
have to ask Melinda Peters Elliott about this when she

some interesting dollar store dupes.

of misinformation or one side being portrayed and not the other.

But you know what, it's the first time, Mikayla, I've
been in the Shoe for a game in a long time.
It's been a while because every time I get an
opportunity to go, I'm like, you know what, I appreciate it,
but I think you get to the point in your
life I'm like, I just would rather watch it at home.
And I've been to the biggest games in that stadium,
And not to take away from any game at all,
Ohio State against Rutgers, but it is Ohio State against Rutgers.

And when you are right there in the thick of
that stadium in the Horseshoe, when Ohio State is playing
that team up north the year that they were ranked
one and two, it doesn't get any better or bigger
than that. I've been to some great, great games there.
I feel very, very honored and thankful to have had
those opportunities. But then you get to that part in
your life and you're like, let other people go and enjoy.

But to be back down there tailgating and seeing that
you know what, I just had to smile to myself
when I see that horse shoe filled with Buckeye nation,
the colors, the beautiful colors of scarlet and gray, and
just to hear that roar. It made me very thankful
to be back there.

Yeah, really, I know what. I didn't think I would
miss it like it, But it was great. It was
a great feeling to be back in what a beautiful day.

You have been spoiled. I even have been spoiled. I
mean when I got here, they would send her night side,
a reporter on the weekends to cover the game, and
you'd be on the field. I don't remember what all
the angles were that I covered, but you know, it
was such an investment of the TV station's time. You
were able to cover some great games and beyond the game.
And so, yeah, we're a little spoiled. And it's to

get into the stadium proper. There's a lot you got
to go through to get in there, so it takes
some time.

It doesn't then there's parking, and then just you get
to a certain age you just don't want to deal
with the headaches anymore. But I was glad that we did.

I will tell you this, we parked always away.

So back in the day, we used to park at

we parked across the street from Channel four in one
of the hotels. We just used that little lot walk
and poor Randy doesn't walk like I walk, and I'm
high tailing it. I'm like, cause we're planning to meet Cammy.
Cammy was the one who provided these tickets for us.
She had tickets to give away to her family and

different friends and stuff, and we were going to tailgated
and meet her when you can because she's on the schedule.
She's working for the department. They have like department, but
there's a certain window we can actually go and see her.
So I was like a mom on a mission. Come on.
Randy's like, you know, we see Cammy about every day
because she's living with us right now. I'm like, it
doesn't matter. Any opportunity you get to see your kids,
you do. So I'm used to walking fast and it's

no big deal for me. Well, poor Randy's a big
dude and he's trying to keep up. He's trying to walk.

So today he said, I think, man, I think my
calves feeling.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
And he has great out I know, and he works
out a lot, but when you don't speed walk like
we did. But we reached it in time, had a
great time with great people, and I was very thankful
to be back in the thick of it with all
of you Buckeye fans. It was great again to be
back there. That's awesome.

Yeah, we had Hilliard Idol yesterday.

What is that?

So it's like American Idol, but Hilliard does it. And
these kids are amazing Christians group performed. His a cappella
group performed, but he was not a finalist. There are
ten junior finalists, ten senior finalists, and mindy these kids
in Hilliard. One of the judges says, I don't know
what's in the water over here, but some of you
have some of the most talented kids when it comes

to vocals. And so it was just a real joy
that was That was like three a three and a
half hours for me last night. So that was a
big commitment last night in my world?

Did someone really stand out to you that you think
yourself of? Now, what's the age range? Did you say
it was?

So, it's a junior group and a senior group, but
the junior group can be elementary kids. But there was
a fifth grader, a boy who sang Fireflies, you know
the song that I'm talking about.

Yeah, he was amazing.

He was the people's choice. But who who was even
more amazing than that? No, because he did. He wasn't
a finalist. He did great though when it came to Yeah,

what I will say is, while I'm pulling it up
this there is a sixth grade girl who sang part

I was shocked. But don't you think you either have

skill is, with rehearsals and practices and voice coaches or
any kind of coach, whatever you love to do. But
I think naturally some people have it or they don't,
and she did.

I was shocked for her to be eleven years old,
and I wish I had a video of it. She
literally stunned me. Here's a quick snippet of their performance.

So this Christians a cappella group from seventh and eighth grade.

Well, no, So it's individuals that compete, and so they
had the a cappella groups, which a couple of them
have won international competitions in Hilliard. They performed last night.
So while they were telling the judge of scores, you
know how that works with things et seed. So yeah,
it was it was great, and yeah it was very good.

Yeah, it's the Beat Michigan Dance and they're gonna have
a DJ there. I know she talked about that and
as well. Yeah, and the band as well. So if
you're looking for something great to do on Friday night,
it's an awesome option. And we have some tickets to

the second hour. And obviously Thanksgiving is Thursday, and a
lot of us love it because you get to see
family that you haven't seen her. It's just that whole

loved one and this is your first Thanksgiving without your

parent or grandparent or friend or cousin, and then it's
kind of difficult, it really is.

family too, and you're showing up to a difficult spot.

The Dollar Store is perfect, especially when decorating for Christmas

us Christmas decorations that we have just collected, so we
have just an assortment. So the little house in India
Lake is nothing like that.

thing because I've been seeing dollar store dupes and we'll

put that race in there for one, thing and it
wasn't because of. Shoplifting and that's funny that you bring this, Up,
mikayla because when we talked to his, Attorney Mark, collins
and also THE fop President Brian, steele they both said
the exact same thing you. Did they get so frustrated
of misinformation or one side being portrayed and not the other.
