Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a last side, all right, hot topics.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
We talk about him every single week at this time.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
How about this one played on me? The team up
north me? She gain beat me again? Hello. We always
say that's to do a better job of beating miss again.
So they got there.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
The NCAA calls this big news conference, and everybody thought
they're gonna get punished. Oh, Hen's going to be destroyed.
They're gonna come down so hard on.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
The There were headlines like beeping on my phone prior
to the press conference.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Six one, four, eight nine, eight eighty six. Do you
have an opinion about what Michigan received. They received a
series of fines that could amount to thirty million dollars,
but when you're a university like that, that's not that much.
But they avoided punitive penalties like postseason bands or vacating
any of their victories, including during the twenty twenty three

(00:58):
National Championship season. So really most people saw it as,
oh my gosh, Michigan got a slap on the wrist.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Do you agree? Do you disagree? That was my hot topic?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Is it terrible that I'm asking and trying to remember
what is this for? Is it from sign gate?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Or weine Gate.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yes, okay, the former staff member on Michigan was caught
stealing signs and this all came down to Yes, NCAA
did investigation and they made their announcement of what they
thought the right punishments would be. But if you remember,
you know, Ohio State they got stripped of everything that they.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
From the tattoos.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, yes, they got stripped. It was basically like that
season didn't exist. They even beat Michigan that year and
they they took it.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Away and it kind of changed the trajectory for some
of those players. If I'm not mistaken like there was.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I don't want to.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Say the word shame, but you know it was hard
on some of those players.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, and Buckeye fans, Buckeye Nation lived that that season
after they came out, well you know what the findings
and what all came from it, and you look now
at nil tattoo gate wouldn't even be anything.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I don't know, so part of me says sign gate
wasn't major, right, but it was cheating.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
It was cheating. It was because two gate. They didn't
get No, they.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Didn't cheat, because the signs remind me of this, The
signs they stole signs from where they stole them from
across the field, across the field, like the signs of
like how you call the play, So they could.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Have just their game because they were stealing signs of
opposing teams. Christy, I know you're chomping at the bit
to join in on this.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
I mean, it's it's it's I.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Thought you were chumping at the building.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Well, it's I thought they would received at least some
recruiting penalties. I think at most affect them to do that.
But like, I mean, they did get a slap on
the wrist, but it also is a different time compared
to when having Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
But do you think teams do this?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Like do you do you think what Michigan did was
odd or they just got caught.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
They got caught.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I think you're right. I think they got caught.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I really it just seems like something that was caught.
So don't you want to like make statement?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
And so yeah, why don't Why don't I guess that
would be my question, why don't you make a statement.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
But the whole thing is.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
They made such a big deal out of calling this
big n CUA a news conference.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Yeah, and something that they could have just like posted
instead like why right right? And it's like if it
was like a major thing, like a major like oh
they're suspended, they you know, lost all the games, they
have to revoke the championship all that stuff, then it's
something you know, and.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Co tar Ball is not commenting on it. He refuses
to comment.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
I mean, he's staying in the he'll just stand in
the NFL.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
So that was my topic.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
What was you do you want to take a caller.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
If it's about this, sure, Dick from Dayton, we see there.
Do you have a.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Comment about Michigan And they're fine for signs stealing like
them and you know.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
What, I think high a state, it's going to beat
them this year. But we proved definitely do last year
how good we were. But up North when I was
in the colleague, they got beat when rex Kerran was there,
but I blew against Michigan. I always root for my
buck guys always.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Dick, thank you so much. We're gonna go to one
more hot topic here, speaking of the state up north.
I just got back from the state up North and
we were on Lake Michigan seventy six degree water right now,
which is really good water when you're talking ninety degrees typically, and.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
If you go straight across the lake.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
From where we were, we were in southwest Michigan.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Okay, we're exactly because I know a lot of people
go in different places.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Saint Joseph, Sagataf South Haven is where a lot of
folks south have, so across the lake, this is happening.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
We just screamed and let everything out.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
And there had to have been about three hundred people
out here. People were laughing, people were crying. So there
is a thing going on directly across the lake in Chicago.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Any scream right, No, seriously.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Scream Club Chicago a stress relieving habit shared by partners
friends in a cathartic tradition, drawing hundreds each week to
Lake Michigan on the other.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Side, and they just scream to let their stress out.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yes, it was founded by a men's coach and breathwork practitioner,
which I take it has something to do with breathing.
I don't know screaming into a lake to let maybe
I know some people who need to scream into a
lake to let out their stress rather than taking it
out and everybody else.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Are they making this political like, are they not that
I know of? This was like a straight up NBC
News Chicago. You know what I mean, I know where
they could probably be going with this. But if it's
just not politically motivated, No, it's not just like you
just escape. I don't know a second, right, I will say.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
When I breathe deeply, that is helpful to me with stressed.
When you get stressed and your your stress would look different.
Mindy's not really that stressed, but you've been stressed like
a game. How do you release your stress after you've
been really stressed or irritated?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Any Yeah, I know what I do. Honestly, I really
enjoy this.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
I think it's just because I'm so always on the run,
going here, going there, hyper hyper hyper hyper. Cammy gets it, honestly,
My daughter came, he gets it, honestly. So what I
really like to do is at the end of a workout,
either when I'm at Hot Works or at Next Level,
I'll sit in the sauna and I'll put on like
just relaxing meditation music really and end my entire day

(06:45):
that way.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Just because that's so not me. You don't think of
me like that. I mean, I know you're go into
the sauna about it.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
No, you listen to like relaxing meditation music.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
No to it just works so healthy because that's so
not like me.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I'm so loud and not just somebody. It brings you
back to like this level that i'd like to.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Just is my way of shutting everything off and just chill, mindy, relax.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
A little bit.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Maybe some parents who are headed back to school need
to take that from you, or scream into a lake.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Of course, you got one extreme to the other.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
You do, and I would be more you would think
of a screamer than to just relax and listen to music.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah, but you like to scream at a game. So
I don't know. Maybe it's too much of my life,
Maybe it's too well. I'm trying to lake life is
having a different effect, big leg.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
I'm serious. I'm getting you this T shirt.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Okay, we do talk stress coming up and back to school.
If you are a parent or grandparent you want to
listen in or a teacher. Yeah, you made a good point,
So and ask a question if you want six one
