Speaker 1 (00:03):
Well, here's the good news.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Stephen White, chief Strategy Officer and SVP of Partnerships and
Business Development, has made it into the building. I was
worried about you, Mindy was worried about you and flat tire,
and you still came in.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
I did. I had to come.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
You know, we were coming from the fair the Kosai
area over at the Ohio State Fair and I got
to tell you torrential downpour.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
But it was totally packed, totally packed.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
People love the Ohio State Fair in the Kosai area
was amazing. So if anybody's heading down to the Fair
this week, highly encourage you to check it out. But yeah,
I had to come make it and talk about all
the cool stuff and that segment that you just had
about science amazing.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
I know who knew I was segueing do you and
that you made it. So I'm glad you're here. Thank
you so much. I'm really honored that you came. Before
we move on to a couple of things we wanted
to talk about. Yeah, Laoshie Building, that's where you guys are.
You guys make an incredible experience out of this every year.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Well we do, and this year was a little special.
We're celebrating America two hundred and fifty around innovation. So
when you walk in there, you see all different kinds
of careers, and Ohio in particular is really known for innovation.
Did you know that we played a critical role in
developing the steering wheel now steering wheel. So you go
down there, you get a chance to kind of take
(01:22):
your stab at, you know, the original steering wheel here
in Ohio.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Little things like that.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
We try to try to put a spotlight on it,
make it fun, cosify it a little bit, and make
it exciting.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Cosifying is the best. And without fluid for your steering fluid,
that would be.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Probably really hard to turn. I would love to try
all things cars.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Today, right, Yeah, So through August third, that's the State Fair,
So you guys got to check them out in the
Lousy Center if you're there. You're about to do Farm
Days though coming up, which is also really cool for
maybe city kids or kids who don't get to be
around this stuff typically.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yeah, you know what's great about Farm Days at Coosai
here in Ohio is that ag is for everybody. Agriculture, rural,
inner city, doesn't really matter where you're from. Agriculture is
all around us. It's the number one industry in our
state by the way. From an industry perspective, it's how
we get food as you know, to our you know,
from farm all the way to our plate. But what's
(02:18):
great at Coosai is that I mentioned as word cosify.
We make it fun. We make it hands on and
exciting to kind of connect the dots for folks, to
show them how this industry is really powerful. Everything from
the big machines that you have in agriculture to how
we plant and how we take care of our great
crops here in the great state of Ohio.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Kids need to understand it and that industry continues. There's
a lot of corporate farming I know going on, but
we need people to understand what that looks like so
they can continue to produce crops.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Absolutely, and technology unreal. I mean you're talking drone technology
that monitors the soil, that the amount of moisture in
the soil, so that way you can help prevent droughts
and things of that nature. So science but also technology
come hand in glove of when you're talking about an
industry like agriculture.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yeah, and I don't think folks think about it necessarily,
so August sixth through tenth, people can experience farm Days.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Don't want to miss it. It's gonna be a lot
of fun, and it's going to tell you what you're
gonna be there. You're gonna be blown away by the
excitement that is all things agriculture.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
And unofficial galaxies.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I can't believe it's almost August and this thing almost
has about a month is that right?
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:27):
About a month left September first you close out, how
is it going? And what are people really talking about?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
My gosh, everybody's talking about how exciting it is because
you get a chance to, even if you're not a
Star Wars fan, when you go there and experience it,
you get to see those those those costumes, those custom
costumes that you see there, you get a chance to
you even get inside one of the if you're ever
interested in the kind of the speed racers and you're like, man,
what does it feel like to get in one of those.
(03:53):
I got to tell you, this is one of the
most exciting I've been at close sat for a while
for a long time exhibits that I've seen because of
the uniqueness of the of the character design, so we're
hearing a lot of excitement. Come check it out before
it leaves here because it's unique to Kosai and what
we've been able to create.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Really Okay, and it's it's upstairs and Gallery four.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Three, just gallery three, go right up the stairs.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
It's a great spread. There's so much that is massive.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Like I think my husband and a friend that I
took over there. We went with couples for Kosi after Dark.
Just they were amazed at Star Wars fans about the
size of all of this stuff you guys have in there.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
What you want to do is when you get to
KOs I, go up to the little kids space right
there on the elevator. It's going to be right around
the corner there. And then when you when you walk
in for the first time, you're gonna you're gonna be bombarded. Really,
it's gonna you're gonna be transported into a different environment.
Then you're gonna be like, man, am I still at
Kosai or by in the middle of a Star Wars movie.
It's really exciting what the team has done to be
(04:56):
able to create this exhibit.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Anything else you want to drop while you're here before
we go.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Any other information, just the excitement.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Come check out unofficial Galaxies at Star Wars exhibit while
it's still here in Columbus, while it's your hair, Kosai,
and just come on down to Kosai and come check
us out here before the summer wraps up and we go.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
We go back to school right around the corner.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Don't you clean after everybody goes back to school? Do
I remember the test?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Yeah, we spent a little time cleaning and making sure
all the dust is cleared off of everything and everything's
working great.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
When he got science, he got a deep clean too. Indeed,
Kosai dot org. Stephen again, so grateful that you came
in after all that and get home okay safely.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
We'll do and thank you that.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Thank you always as always for having us and we
appreciate you and thanks thanks so much.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
All right, you guys have a great week, and no
matter what you do, spend some time doing what
