Yeah, they are there six tenWTVN dot com under podcast Mindya. I
(00:25):
wanted to mention and I know I'vesaid this to you, but we hadn't
talked about this on the show.I'm a girlfriend of mine from college,
a pledge sister who didn't you know, I didn't hang out a lot with,
was in town this weekend and wehad lunch on Friday. She was
in town for Tim Kite's funeral, who was the owner of Focus three and
some of you know him from OhioState Athletics. He was the person who
(00:49):
created the concept of the R factorE plus our equal zo. He passed
away after battling I want to say, might have been pancreatic cancer for the
last year or so, and Ididn't know about it until Becky reached out
to me. She met him outin San Diego. They're from Finlay,
Ohio. Originally her family and herhusband's family, But like what a life.
We ran into him at a coupleof speaking events. I know that
(01:11):
he was a game changer when ittalked about becoming a better individual and a
better teammate. He worked with alot of different teams, not just Ohio
State. And when I say teams, I don't just mean sporting teams,
business teams. He just worked tocreate a better environment and a better person,
you know, and a lot ofit is your mental ability to rise
(01:32):
above it is. So he passedaway May fourth, and you know Focus
three will continue its work. Ididn't realize he was living in Bluffton,
South Carolina at the time. Hewas not here in the Columbus area.
But what a life, what animpact, And he has impacted athletes.
I know they work with businesses.Doesn't his son help with it though,
(01:53):
I believe there's some kind of connectionthere, So does Cammy. Does she
ever hear about eplus ari So?I don't know if they do it as
much at Ohio State anymore. She'snever brought it up. I don't know.
Probably could have and should have, because I think it would have helped
well. And it's right up heralley, and he was a man of
faith right well, and you andI ran into him. He was the
(02:15):
keynote speaker at the student who passedReagan TOAs is one of the fundraisers that
her mom was putting on for kindof the area of work that she was
doing after Reagan passed. Anyway, great Man just wanted to mention it today
because my friend Becky was just inTanna and flew out this morning. But
so much of life goes right backto that poem the dash, and the
(02:39):
dash stands for the day you're bornand the day you die. But what
really makes a difference is that dashin between. It's how you live your
dash. He lived his dash extremelywell because he put others first. He
was really trying to make and createa better well being for so many people.
He was so just wanted to leavehim and our thoughts if you're familiar
(03:00):
with him or familiar with his work, and had not heard that that had
happened fairly recently, But so muchin that dash, as Mindy put it,
so I won't be here next week. I thought my days have taken
off on Sundays were over because theseason was over. I had no idea
that my Corey, my Corey,my niece Corey was getting married next Sunday.
I always thought it was Saturday.I just took it for granted.
(03:22):
We're all together for Mother's Day lastweek, and they're like, well,
two weeks from today it is Corey'swedding. I'm like, what Sunday.
So I gotta leave you next week. I'm sorry, but you're loaded full
interviews for next week. My gosh, talk about getting you ready for summer
and anything that's coming your direction thatwill be us next week. So I
hope you get a chance to tunein Mindy. I hope you have a
great wedding for your Corey. Yeah. That's fantascited for Corey. She's gonna
(03:46):
make a beautiful bride. And I'mvery very close with my nieces. Yeah,

at least me next week. MaybeI'll be back after And no matter
what you do this week, spendsome time doing what matters.
