is backwards Day. So we always hear the joke about
country music. If you play a country song backwards, you
get your dog back, your house back, your truck back,
all that kind of stuff, so we decide we're just
gonna write that song or something like this.
I love my country music, my sad old country songs.

They're getting me through these rough times. See life been
doing me wrong, and I thought of that old joke, yeah,
the one we always hear about playing country music backwards,
and that gave me an idea.
Legend has it put on your records, spin them the
other way, just like magic, you will reclaim all you
lost along the way. So I rigged up my record

player for this audio stunt to play my favorite vinyl
country songs from back to front, yep, so I cranked up,
fell asleep, loud to my surprise, could not believe it
when I opened up my eyes. Yeah, my truck was
in the driveway.
My dog was at the door. My baby called to

say she couldn't stay away no more. Somehow all these
blessings have overcome each curse when I played my country
songs in reverse, you know, when I looked there in
the mirror and right there on my face. It wasn't
any more wrinkles. They were gone without a trace. Then
I ran my fingers across my head where nothing was

on top. I'd regained my luscious, pretty manly lovely locks.
Open up the fridge. It was full as a big
old bank, sorry, I opened up the fridge and it
was full as a vault in a bank. There were
cases of my favorite beer I once pissed away and drank,
and I thought it was just a fantasy. My life
could find correction simply by playing tunes in the opposite direction.

My truck was in the driveway. My dog was at
the door. My baby called to say she couldn't stay.

And I'm stuck in this funny dance. See, I thought
