According to a report from the city, between 2020 to 2025, the number of golf rounds played has gone up!
This year alone had 124,433 rounds of golf in 182 days during the 2025 season.

Winnipeg Animal Services responded earlier this week to a home with over 70 birds that were neglected for weeks. Many unfortunately passed away due to their living conditions but they managed to take in 43 birds to their facility but need help accommodating space for their recovery.

The City of Winnipeg unveiled their parking strategy on what they want to change with parking to hopefully make it easier to find parking in the city BUT they're also looking into adjusting parking rates and parking hours. This could mean no more free parking on evenings and weekends, reducing prices and/or and getting rid of paid parking in places that aren't high in demand.
