Kyles of the world unite!! Meg has discovered the interesting trend and world record attempt by people who all share the same name, get together for one big party! Kyles only! Turns out the Kyles aren't alone, Ryans and Ivans also gather in the masses!

The Boat Show is on right now until Sunday January 28th.  The Director Linda told us about how the most popular boat seminars are about exploring Ontario on your boat and great ways to get there if you don't yet have a boat.  Lots of cool stuff this year!

Josh was on the morning show this morning, which gave Meg the opportunity to talk about this very awkward gift provided to her children this Christmas.  But really, how did this make through the marketing process?

Waterskiers who just won't quit, boyfriends of the year and a community reaches out to help one of their own.  There are always uplifting stories of people helping others if you look for them.  

As I jotted 'kale' on my grocery list yesterday, I laughed.  It's such an unusual purchase for me, but prompted by, you guessed it, a recipe I want to try based on a New Year's Resolution.  It made me wonder if grocery stores up their produce orders, especially of green things, in January, cause they know we run in there, resolutions a blazin' come January.

Layla is a 2 year old American Bulldog X who would love to be a part of your family.   She's loves people and is used to kids and cats.  A home with another dog is a possibility if your dog had a meet and greet first and it went well.  She needs someone who is home during the day and she's never been in a crate.  She's at the Midland SPCA and is waiting to me you!

A dog in Oklahoma ate four grand cash that his owners were planning to use to pay for a fence.  They got almost all of it back!....doing exactly what you'd think they'd have to do!

A language barrier almost caused this cat to have a lonely & hungry Christmas, but fate stepped in;)

I had a chance to talk to Serena Ryder about her favourite Christmas traditions and the new Merry Myths tour coming to Orillia Opera House this weekend.  Should be a great show! ~Meg 

A police officer was driving and had to do a double take at a vehicle.  That is not safe!  The driver was ticketed.

A couple stories to make you smile.  Also, an organizer in Orillia hosted a 90s Dance Party (Jump up Jump up and Get Down) that raised $14000 in one evening for a Toy Drive!

Many of our local libraries now have Maker Spaces.   Maker Spaces are places with engravers, sewing machines, CriCUT machines and sometimes 3D laser printers, all perfect for making a one of a kind Christmas gift.  These spaces are FREE.  Check out your local library's webpage.

A lot of our terms for things evolved because of the way we were doing them.  WHAT we're doing has changed, but we're still calling them the same.
