Thomas Downey is the Senior Science Department Head and physics teacher at Selwyn House School in Westmount. With over three decades of experience, he’s known for transforming complex science into hands-on, high-energy learning. He is this year's recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence and he spoke to Andrew Carter.

Victor Larocque is a 34-year-old endurance athlete from Shawinigan, Quebec, who just became the first Quebecer and first Canadian ever to win a 100-mile UTMB (Ultra-Trail Mont-Blanc) World Series race. He captured first place at the Rarámuri 100M in Chihuahua, Mexico — a 157-kilometre ultra-trail event through the Copper Canyons — finishing in 21 hours, 21 minutes, 19 seconds. He spoke to Andrew Carter.

On Saturday October 25th, Lorenzo Acurso, Matteo Iasenza and Dylan Beauchamp are running 125 kilometres to raise funds for the mental health program at St, Mary's Hospital.
