(00:00):
Psalm one thirteen to fourteen says, for you created my inmost being, You
knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully
and wonderfully made. Your works arewonderful, and I know that full well.

(00:26):
Good afternoon. I think that youare having a very blessed day.
If you're here within Indiana, youknow that today is a beautiful day.
If you've stepped outside, if youhaven't yet, you need to because the
weather it's really nice compared to whatit was last week. Because last week
I think all of us were likesome fried chicken outside. All of us
were really hot, all of uswere sweating like bullets. Anyway, today

(00:48):
is a new day, and wethank God for that. So today I
want to talk about a topic thatsometimes Christians don't talk about because they fear
it's too political. This is unfortunatelyit's been brought into politics, but it's
not just a political matter. Firstand foremost, it's a moral issue.
Must understand that this issue of whatwe're going to talk about today is a

(01:11):
moral issue, regardless of whether ornot it's in politics. This is a
moral issue Psawe thirteen to fourteen.David understood that God created him, that
God knitted him within his mother's womb. He understood that, and he understood
that this working God of God wasbeautiful. He understood that we must understand

(01:37):
that babies within the wombs of mothersare the work of God, and God
is at work within the wombs ofmothers, knitting together the baby, creating
the baby. But we live ina world that doesn't want to believe that
they want to have abortions, unfortunately, either because they're told that that would

(02:00):
be the best options for them. They're they're fed lies that say, well,
you know, your life will bemuch better if you don't have to
have this additional responsibility of having thischild. Or they don't call the baby
a child, they call it afetus, but really it's a baby within
the womb. So today I wantto talk about abortion and do so gracefully
within you know, in the nexttwelve minutes, because this is only a

(02:23):
fifteen minute podcast episode. But abortionis not just a political matter. It's
a moral issue and it must beunderstood about that. I don't know about
you, but I've wondered to myself, how many abortions are you know had
each and every year. So thisarticle World Health Organization was written on November

(02:43):
twenty five, twenty one. Now, even though this was a couple of
years back, it really doesn't changethe fact that there are tons and tons
and tons of abortion is still happeningtoday, and in my understanding, there's
this is still about the same unfortunately, but I hope that what you hear
today and how we see this allplay out, this will continue to decrease

(03:05):
anyway. This article says around seventythree million induced abortions take place worldwide each
year, six out of ten. That's sixty one percent of all unintended pregnancies,
and three out of ten twenty ninepercent of all pregnancies in induced abortions.
Now that's a lot of abortions. That's a lot of babies being murdered

(03:28):
within the womb. That is exactlywhat's happening. Seventy three million babies are
killed every year within the womb. They're not given a chance divorce their opinion,
they're not given a chance at life. They are killed. Seventy three
million babies are killed within the womb. I want you to let that set

(03:50):
in. Seventy three million babies. So the hill posted an article titled Indiana's
near total abortion band takes effect asstate Supreme Court denies appeal. Now,
this article was written on August twentyfirst, So there's some stuff going on
here within the Indiana which I praiseGod for that is good in terms of

(04:15):
banning abortions. So here's what something. The article says, Indiana's law banning
almost all abortions will take effect immediatelyMonday, after the State Supreme Court denied
a request from the ACLU and PlannedParenthood to rehear an earlier ruling which upheld
the law and lifted an injunction blockingit. The four to one ruling,
which was certified Monday, means Indiananow outlaws all abortions except in very,

(04:41):
very narrow circumstances. Under the law, abortion will be allowed when a mother's
life or health is at risk orif there's a lethal fetal analoment. In
those cases, the abortion must beperformed in a hospital before twenty weeks station
The law also has an exception forrape and incests before ten weeks post fertilization.

(05:06):
And here's a quote given by awoman named Jane Heindeger Hinder. I
don't know if I'm pronouncing her nameright, but she's the ACLU of Indiana
executive director. She's the executive directorof the ACLU. And here's what she
said. She said, today isa dark day in Indiana's history as a

(05:28):
near total abortion band takes effect. We have seen the horrifying impacts of bands
like this across the country, andthe narrow exceptions included in this extreme band
will undoubtedly put Hoosier's lives at risk. Kind of leaves me speechless because this

(05:53):
person is saying, this is adark day in Indiana's history. And you
know what scripture comes to mind whenI hear that, when Isaiah, Isaiah
the prophet says, woe to himwho calls good evil an evil good.
Woe to the person who calls goodevil an evil good. Because that's exactly

(06:17):
what this person is doing. Theyare saying that it is a dark day
within Indiana's history to stop the murderingof babies. No, they don't want
to call the child, the babya baby, which is exactly what it
is. They say, this isa dark day in Indiana's history. Why

(06:38):
do I emphasize this because as Christians, it is our duty, it is
our job to stand up for life. What Satan wants is for you and
I to believe this lie that says, well, don't get into anything that
has to do with politics at all. Now, one thing I will not

(07:00):
do. Let's talk about politics fromthe pulpit. I don't want to do
that. I will not do that. My job as a pastor, as
a preacher is to preach from theWord of God and apply that to how
we live today and apply that tothe situation the surroundings that we're in today.
But outside of the pulpit, weneed to address matters like this.

(07:25):
And remember abortion is not just apolitical matter. It is a moral issue
first and foremost. But we mustunderstand that Satan wants us to keep our
mouth shut. Remember first Peter five, verse eight says, be sober,
be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, prows around like a roaring
lion, seeking someone he can devour. This person from the ACLU, the

(07:51):
Indian Executive Directory says, we haveseen the horrifying impact of bands like this
across the country and the narrow exceptionsincluded in this extreme man will undoubtedly put
Hoosier's life at risk. What wejust We pray for people that believe that

(08:15):
murdering babies is wrong. That's whatwe do. We love them, we
pray for them, but we standagainst this Satanic agenda, and that's what
it is. This is a partof Satan's plan, and Satan loves what
he's able to get away with throughpeople who follow his agenda. The murdering
of babies is wrong. It's notokay. Abortion is wrong. It is

(08:41):
not okay, and we must rememberthat. And as Christians, we must
stand against that, regardless of whatpeople think of us. Because we might
have some friends who don't believe thesame way that we do. They may
not be Christians whatever, But atthe end of the day, God wants
us to make sure that we areon the side of life. This made

(09:01):
me think of Deuteronomy thirty verse nineteensays, I call heaven and earth to
witness against you today to the Israelitesthat I have set before you life and
death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life in order that you may
live, and your descendants also chooselife. Christians stand up for life,

(09:28):
stand against abortion, stand against abortion. You may have political views that differ
from someone else's political views. Idon't care what political party it is.
I don't care, and you shouldn'teither, any party, whether it's Independence,
Republicans, Democrats, whatever, anyonesupporting abortion. The ongoing of killing

(09:58):
babies is wrong. It's absolutely wrong, period, and none of us should
be behind that agenda at all. Now, there are other options out there
for people who are considering getting abortion. It is truly that people end up

(10:22):
getting pregnant and they get very scaredon what do they do next? Where
do they go having a baby? It's a scary thing, and they're convinced
by someone that having an abortion isthe best way. I want to tell
you that if you're listening and thatyou are considering, that that is not
the best option. God does notwant you to end the life of the

(10:43):
child that is within your womb rightnow. God loves you. God loves
that baby within your womb, andGod knows that that baby will bring you
so much joy, so much laughter, so much love. Do not believe
the lie that will tell you thatgetting an abortion is the right thing to
do. It's not the right thingto do. It's never the right thing

(11:03):
to do. Why do I knowthat? Because there are adoption agencies out
there that will take your child, that will raise your child, that will
give your child life, a chanceat life. If you can't do that
yourself, if you don't have familyto take care of your child, there
are other options other than just abortion. There is a ministry called Preborn.

(11:26):
Preborn is a wonderful ministry. Inaddition to what I'm saying right now that
if you support this ministry financially, what they do they provide free ultrasounds to
anyone who comes in who's considering havingan abortion. And how they're able to
do that is by people who givemonthly. I think it's around twenty seven

(11:48):
to thirty dollars or maybe even fortydollars a month. But through this ministry,
people come to Jesus, and notonly come to Jesus, their babies
lives are saved. If you're consideringhaving an abortion, I hope that you
won't and I hope and I praythat you will seek out other options because

(12:09):
they're out there. We all makemistakes. If you've had an abortion before,
Grace is there. God still lovesyou. He's with you one all
the way. We all make mistakes, we all need grace. But one
thing God does not want us todo is to encourage this agenda of abortion.

(12:35):
This is a great day in Indiana'shistory. The fact that less and
less babies are going to be killedbecause of these laws is wonderful. At
least here within Indiana. That isgreat. That is something that we are
to praise God for. Lord, help us to focus on You, help

(12:58):
us to stand for what is right, to help us to choose life and
to promote life. And Lord,we pray for those who are considering getting
an abortion. Lord. We askyou, Lord that it would be with
their heart, be with their mind. We know that you love them,

(13:18):
We know that that's not the rightchoice to make. You want us to
choose life. I pray that whoeveris in that decision making right now,
that they will choose life. Abortionis a moral issue. Why because it
has to do with you. Ithas to do with murdering a baby within

(13:39):
the world that you are creating.Lord, we thank you so much for
your grace. We thank you forJesus. We thank you for Him with
all of our hearts, because withoutJesus we would have no hope and getting
right with you, having a relationshipwith you, having fellowship with you,
having eternal life with you. Wethank you for him for out to love

(14:00):
the world, that he gave hisonly begotten son, that whoever believes in
him will not perish to have eternallife. That's a guarantee, that's a
promise if you believe that, ifyou trust upon Jesus, you will be
saved. Act sixteen thirty one. What must I do to be saved?
Believe upon Jesus and you will besaved. And then after that, you

(14:22):
know God, he wants you toget invested in the church. The first
command he wants you to keep isto be baptized. So do that,
get involved with the church. Ihope this has been encouraging to you.
Hope this is encourage you to standfor life, to choose life because that
is what's most important. See youon the next one. God bless
