Tony? You know, white peoplegrow up different as a motherfucker.

(02:19):
I ain't I ain't gonna lie.All of them ain't crazy. Just like
how he just looked at him andhe trying to figure out what what what
What do y'all got me doing rightnow? Like what what? What?
What is this? What is thisbenefiting me as a as a as a
right now in my life? What'swhat's really going on? You? My
daddy? But somebody, oh mygod, that was so cute. First

(02:46):
of all, I love the babies, okay, And the baby was out
there in the water like what like, come on, okay, do you
have children? I do three? You got three? You got little ones?
Middle size, no more little one? O. Yeah yeah, we're
unlittle now. So okay, sothe dad's you always do something crazy.

(03:07):
It hurts that hurts my feet.It is all one feeling, so I
mean yourself doing something not that thatwas That was a lot that. That
was a whole lot, especially thebabies, just traumatized and not knowing whether
or not to be scared. Yeah, it was all padded up and everything.

(03:28):
Yeah, it's like do I trustyou or you're my dad? But
do I trust you? Yeah?I love it? I love it.
How about you kind? Do youhaving children? No? But when you
do, it's making it harder forme that decision. What if you were
a mom though in that situation.Oh well, if I was the mom,
I probably wouldn't see that video.I don't know. I see like

(03:53):
a little dip in the water somethingthat's as far as it would go.
That was over the fearlessness and thenstop right there. It makes you wonder,
It makes you wonder if she wasthere or did she just get to
see the video or was she theone holding the camera? Oh my god,
that's somebody had to be holding thecamera. That was boys. Yeah,

(04:18):
he said white people grow up different. That's a lot of pressure.
That was a lot of pressure.Pressure. I don't know any way people
that did that, but you knowthey so Tony, who do we have
to thank for sending that in ninefive four boss Man nine five for boss

(04:39):
Man, shout out to you, boss Man. You're funny that you're narrating.
You're you're you're hell of funny.I love your That was him.
I'm assuming that was awesome. Thebaby was like, good thing, I
got this dip. That's my friend, Tony. Can you let me see

(05:00):
myself? You know how vain am? Oh? You was trying to help
me, but they could see tooanyway. All right, so uh yeah,
you know what what do we gotnext? Tody? Right here we
go? How do you keep awoman happening? You gotta love what's inside
the house, not just what's outsidethe house. And sometimes we focused,

(05:23):
we start loving what's outside the house, and still it was inside the house
because I think inside is very emotional, and we got to treat it as
such. She'll tell you what shewants, she'll tell you what you need,
she'll tell you how to treat it. You just gotta pay attention to
the sign. But sometimes we're sobusy being who we are, we missed
the visual that she's giving us.And she's telling us, telling us everything.

(05:45):
And then like if a woman touchedon her shoulder, your shoulder.
That means she want to be touchedon her. They close attention to the
sign, so she usually give uswhat she wants. How many times they
say what you do today? Right? She really wants you to say,
hey, what you do today? And we just missed it. Will be
so consumed myself. We got toget out there, especially when they've been

(06:09):
our biggest cheerleader for multitude of years, or they just come in the game
lately and they still cheering even thoughwe don't have all jersey. So I
chose that one because you know themovie TM mind, We're gonna get into
some things and relationship things, soI like to kind of keep it relationship
esque, you know. And ofcourse I'm gonna do it from a woman's

(06:32):
point of view. So I likethat. I like that, I like
what they were talking about, andI like that he was saying that you
have to love what's inside the house. So I'm gonna let you d do
you call me d or Ellie either? One? Okay? One? And
she looked at me like I wasgetting ready to protest that. No,

(06:54):
I was just saying, what wasgonna happen? Yeah? No, I
mean I told you the show wasgonna be all about y'all today. So
what you have to say about Iagree, first of what he has said,
you made it like I almost gotkept off the show three seconds in.
That's terrible. But no, Iactually think that what he's saying is

(07:15):
is right on point. You haveto pay attention to one another, but
inside the house is far more importantthan you know, the glitz and the
glam and the show. Yeah,I agree. Is do you find that
a little difficult being in show business? It can be depending on who you're
having a relationship with, because ifthey're non show business people, some things,

(07:40):
you know, are kind of toughto explain, and if they are
show business people and not as sane, then you can run into situations where
you're being competitive where competitions really shouldn'texist. What's your take on Well,
I agree, of course yea, being a woman, you know, and

(08:03):
you know, I kind of evensay that what goes on inside is the
most that's what creates the relationship anyway. But what people see, what people
hear, that's just the take onit. That's a perception that really shouldn't
exist in what's going on in yourrelationship. So you know, if a
man is in tune with that, you know that evolvement, know how to

(08:26):
they know how to do that, you know how to do it with ease
and calmness and everything like that. That's what I think I concur yea,
you see how I keep my mouthshut? Are y'all looking at was biting
your level of it? That wasjust because it was so deep. I
was taking it all into my spiritand just like, yeah, what she
said, he's quick to all theyou know people who have been married.

(08:52):
Maybe there's not anymore, but thathurt my feeling. No, no,
no, but you know these arelessons for everybody. Yeah, yeah,
that's all. That's about great growth. We don't stop growing and evolution,
Like you said, evolve. Ilove that. I love that. We're
gonna evolve anyway. You guys, you're not as well one way or another.

(09:13):
You might as well come on withit, all right, Who do
we have to think for that?Tony Alpha motivation zero, Alpha motivation zero,
go ahead, Alpha Alpha. Youknow I have a niece name Alpha.
I wonder, what's that my niece? But you know what, guys
keep sending those videos in I'm gonnakeep perusing TikTok, and we're gonna keep
showing them here on twenty twenty Visionand hopefully we can help you guys go

(09:35):
viral. All right, we haveone more? Two more? We did?
We have two more? Okay, all right, all right, I
just want to get this off mychest real quick. Listen to the fellas.
We spend so much time hunting womendown and chasing them and pursuing them
and putting that pressure on them, making sure they know we want to be
that main one. Then the momentwe get them, we treat them like

(09:56):
our arching them, they immediately becomedoctor due for smirks. Arguments come less
about finding coming ground and more aboutproving yourself right over this woman. You
see, I was told a veryvery long time ago, and how a
person feels will always be valid. And nine times out of ten, if
your woman's gonna dress something with you, she gonna leave with you. Made
me feel like or I feel like, And men be so quick to dismiss

(10:18):
it. Men say it's not aboutyou feel it's one that's not true.
How a person feels will always bevialid address that lead with baby, I'm
sorry I made you feel like xyzI was just trying to get you to
see ABC, and I promise youshe gonna look at you a lot different.
Your relationship might seem a lot moreprosperous in that regard. That's your

(10:39):
friend, your best friend. Treatit like such. That's all I'm saying.
As I said, these tiktoks aregonna be a relationship esque. Keep
us in that relationship, you know, in that conversation. Yeah, I
did what he was saying, Kendall. I mean, I feel like you
know we are. We can beyour best friend, know your worst enemy.

(11:01):
You know, if you align yourselfwith someone, you open up to
that person and it goes both ways. It's reciprocal. So just be careful
how you treat your your rib assome of the men call you. Some
of them say, be careful. You don't want to bruise your rib.
No, absolutely not breathe. It'slike that pain. Yeah. Yeah,
but I think one thing that andyou learn as you go obviously and get

(11:26):
older. But depending on who youpick and why you pick them. Uh,
sometimes you know who you are atthat time is exactly what you're attracting.
So the fault may not be theother person. Now you're gonna say
it something. I just want toput that out. Oh my god,
this could be a whole different show. But keep it in perspective. Okay,
you don't say it something. Okay, I'm sorry, can go ahead

(11:48):
again. I mean I agree atthe same time, that is who you
attract. If you're attracting a friend, you're attracting your best friend. You
decide to go on that to thatlevel. That's how it should be.
I mean, granted, people aregoing to have their differences of opinions and
everything, but keep in light, this is love, this is friendship,

(12:11):
and we aren't perfect people, youknow. So, and then like going
back to the first one, whoyou are inside. People don't see everything
on the inside that they see outside. And so that friendship and that camaraderie
that that can make it, youknow, better, even in the difficult
times. That best That's why abest friend is a best friend. They

(12:33):
see all your parts and they knowhow to deal with it, handle it
and embrace it, help you throughthings, even though you know they're not
your therapists or nothing like that. You know, but you got to do
you too, We got to knowwhat you have to do as well.
That's right. And we do becomeeach other's counselors, you know, I
feel that's I think that's a partof friendship. I don't feel that,

(12:54):
you know, the owners should beon your partner to fix you per se.
But I do feel that we shouldwould help each other. We should
help each other in our mental fromour mental, spiritual and emotional, each
other's biggest cheerleaders, the whole thingon this journey. We forget sometimes when
we want to do things on ourown. We're on the journey every day
with other people. Come on,even if you like, oh I do

(13:16):
me. We're on this journey togetherand that's what helps us grow. You
need things to help you grow.We need each other in every aspect of
life. So that's right. Iagree? Yeah, I can nice,
Yes, yes, yes, Imean we deep over here, right,
make me pull out my FISA.Wait a minute, I didn't know what
that word was. Indeed, right, who do we have to think for

(13:46):
that time? Dmitri Wiley, DmitriWiley, Dmitri Wiley, you killed on
that one dope? Thank you?Okay? One more? One more?
Okay? One The mass when itcomes to a three year old you are
not hm, wow wow, wow, wow, saying the camera man,

(14:22):
o'mury parish me like, here wego down the hall, who's running today?
And and that person's acting all shock. You didn't know that there was
a chance it might not have beenreally really right? Right? Oh man?
How was the cat? The perfectdepicture of that though? That was

(14:43):
what I saw it immediately, andI said, nope, I can't come,
can't come, and it's too easy. That was funny. Yeah,
it was. Oh, Reggie justpopped in. Reggie Gaskins just popped in.
That's dope. I think he's gonnabe watching on YouTube. Oh cool.
Yeah, Well, you guys.Without further ado, we want to
get this show on the road, and it is my pleasure to introduce the

(15:05):
guests that I have here today.I just want to talk a little bit
about the actors in the world. What would we do without actors? How
would we properly express ourselves without themovement of pictures? Movies are our favorite
pastime, holidays, first dates, and family outings and gatherings. We're so

(15:26):
fortunate that we don't have to figureout what we would do without actors.
We absolutely adore them. They're morethan entertainers. They are the great storytellers,
the motivational speakers, the historians, and sometimes the life savers. Today
I have the pleasure and the honorof welcoming the actors from the new film

(15:46):
TMI. We we watched them explorewhat it would be like to reveal everything
to your partner before marriage in thisfilm TMI. Help me give a warm
welcome to the multifaceted and creative dElliott Woods and the dynamic actor, writer
and director Kindle with coreaty Oh.Thank you so much for having us.

(16:11):
Yes, yes, yes, itis an absolute pleasure. And so on
twenty twenty Vision You guys, everybody, all the you and audience, they're
nosy, right, so we reallywant to get to know you. We
want to dig into your stories andwe want to know, like, where
are you from? Where'd you comefrom? I'll start with you. D
oh, okay, Well, originallyI'm from Indianapolis, Indiana, Yeah,

(16:32):
to Indy mid right, and thenwent and graduated from college in Colorado and
just gradually made my way over toLos Angeles. So I've been on this
steady progression to come west the wholetime, all right, yeah, yeah,
yeah, And so as as ayoung man, you knew that you

(16:52):
wanted to be what an actor orwriter? No, it acts. No,
it actually made me nervous to thinkabout that because that particular time in
my neighborhood and all of that, everybody was concerned about getting a good job,
you know, after college and allthat stuff, and so that was
really my focus. And what happenedwas while I was in college, I
was playing basketball and all that goodstuff. Ended up with a leg injury

(17:18):
and to pout and to take pityon myself. I thought, you know
what, I'm going to take someeasy classes. So I looked on the
you know, on the register andeverything. Long story short, I took
an acting class with a visiting professor, because it can't get any easier than
that, no way. Well thatmy first visiting professor was Alfred Woodard,

(17:38):
who would not let me take pityon myself, would not let me sit
in the back of the class. She forced me to be in a play
I didn't want to be, Imean everything, and she was just always
just sickening energy every day, justbright and sunny, and I'm just like,
man, my leg hurts, youknow. Long story short, she
puts me in this play and Ihated everything about the rehearsals, you know,

(18:03):
but she was just like, comeon, you can do this.
And the night that the play openedup, we had a packed house and
the moment I walked on stage,I could literally feel the audience going on
this journey. Yeah, and it'slike, oh man, this is what
she was talking about. Long storyshort, that's how I confirmed that I
had the bug. And that's exactlyall right, And so is that what

(18:25):
took started you on your journey tocome west or Well, she told me
that, you know, I mighthave something that out of din and as
far as I knew at that time, you know, I wasn't very confident.
So I thought, yeah, she'sprobably just telling everybody that. Yeah.
Then I had another visiting professor,Bill Duke, and at the end
of that class he said pretty muchthe same thing. And so both of

(18:47):
them were saying, you know, you need to come out west. Yes,
And I still was on that Midwesterngot to get a job thing.
So I did get the job aftercollege. And you guys remember mcilocommunication.
Yeah, I remember, I'm datingmy I had like fifty eleven I know,
right, what's mci. Well,I was at this telecommunications company,

(19:07):
let's say that, and long storyshort, I got an opportunity to get
yet another promotion because they were growingso fast to do what I was doing,
but I would have had to moveto Washington, D C. And
something in me I knew that ifI took that first check at that level,
that I would never not do whatI really wanted to do. And
that's what made me make a decision. So I quit, paid off all

(19:32):
my bills, and moved out herewith two hundred dollars in my pocket.
Wow, So did you actually dothe struggle thing? The starving art?
It wasn't quite starving artist, butit was. It was unnecessarily difficult artist.
And a lot of it was myfault because, you know, in
all honesty, when I first movedout here, I was like, ooh,
the nightclubs, look at all thesegirls, and you know, so
I was all in that. Butafter about three years of that, and

(19:56):
actually I ran into I ran intoAlfred at a at a restaurant, and
after we went through the greeting andeverything else, she's like, so,
you know, what are you doing. You've been out here for three years,
what are you doing? And Iwas like going out, so she
gave me the business, and longstory short, I got on my game

(20:17):
after that because I heard it wasfive years. I heard that like when
you know, when entertainers as awhole, but I think especially actors,
when you guys first come out,it's like a three to five year party,
you know. I mean, you'rea Los Angeles man and you're a
party amongst your favorites, you know, amongst the stars. Literally, you
know, you're like, I can'tbelieve I'm standing next to Cedric entertainer.

(20:41):
I ended up in Whitney Houston's birthdayparty. It was like, I'm jealous.
Yeah, it was just insane. All the people that were up there
were all famous except for me,but that's okay. But it was It
was just kind of mind blowing becauseeverybody was real cool and they're just people.
You know what. I found thatthis is my favorite phrase to say
that God is not a tea.So when you know God has you amongst

(21:02):
the people, and you know, and you're looking up to them, understand
that he's showing your division of yourlife. That's a preview to you know
what's to come for you. That'swhat I had to I had to do
it, because otherwise that I wouldhave stayed jealous the whole time. Like
what about where are you from?Well, I'm born in Nashville, originally
from Huntsville from went to Maharry Schoolof Medicine. So you know that's a

(21:30):
proud proud parent moment. Yeah.Yeah, and I grew up in Huntsville,
Alabama. I you know, Iwent to Clarke Atlanta University, all
right. Yeah, and I spenttime in Atlanta afterwards, and then I
moved out here. I always hadthe acting bug, though, Yeah,

(21:53):
that was just there. I hadto act everything, you know. So
I was just doing little things aroundthe house. And then it just kind
of, you know, transformed intolike getting into high school and magnet programs
and you know, I got intocompetitive drama and everything like that, and
then went to college and tried toshift it because my teacher, Ron Harris,

(22:18):
was like, I don't know,if you want to be an actor,
you want to be struggling for yourwhole life. I was like,
dang, I guess that's not whyI'm the lead. But I did it.
Anyways, eventually just came back around. I was in production. I
was a production major and then mylast year, I was inspired by my
theater teacher because I took an electiveand Carol Mitchell, Leon Rip and Kenny

(22:41):
Leon and they're you know, wellknown in the acting world in Atlanta especially,
but she just inspired me to getback into it and I did,
and so I just started pursuing itmore after that, just in Atlanta.
Then moved out here. Yeah, and then five years. Within that five
years, I got a commercial andthen and then you placed the commercial in

(23:03):
La or La Okay, okay, okay. But then it was like ten
years. I was like, oh, they said five, Well I heard
it was it was a total often for your overnight break. Yeah,
you spend five years partying and thenyou get over it, and then the
next five years you get serious. So that's why it takes ten That's what

(23:25):
I've heard. Now. I don'tknow, you guys can let me know.
I mean I was serious when Igot here. I think that the
partying came when I was like,oh my god, give me a minute.
I think that. Then I thinkthe other thing is there's you know,
there's working, which is what happened. You know, when I got

(23:45):
serious, I started working. Butthe superstardom thing. Honestly, I don't
think you can control it unless youare just just this you know, lead
singer in the band or whatever. You know, this tremendous voice. But
everything else is dependent upon the partsthat you accept, whether or not the
show becomes a big show, onand on. Yeah, so the semantics,

(24:07):
I feel like it's the same thingin the music industry as well,
though, Like I mean, youknow, yeah, you know, it
helps to be able to sign. However, you know, sometimes it's a
lot of times it's knowing the rightpeople, connecting with the right people,
the right producers, you know, the producers that have the name for themselves

(24:27):
already. You know, like it'simportant for me to have a record with
the same producer that works on Beyonce'sor jay Z's record exactly. So it's
the same type of thing I think. I feel like, Yeah, you
have to work at it, youhave to have the work ethic, you
have to have the chops, youknow. But you know, be ready,
be ready. You know what isit? Opportunity is when preparation meets

(24:52):
some Yeah that thing preparation meets theopportunities is luck is good luck? Yeah,
yep, So I agree. Okay, you know what I want to
show the people actually got a fewmore. I'm doing good. I thought
I was running out of cat allright, So we can still keep talking.

(25:12):
Okay, So you know what, why don't we keep talking? Yeah,
that'll be good. We can stillkeep talking. So okay, So
both of your journeys brought you outhere to LA. It took about five
to ten years before you, guysboth got your groove. You feel it?
You feel that way? Or mm? Did you die right in?

(25:34):
No? Okay, No, wellI told you the first three years I
was you know, I was overthere, yeah, doing all of that
over there. Know what actually happenedwas I had an audition for a show.
Uh DEDE. Bradley was the castingdirector over at Warner Brothers. This
is some time ago, and forwhatever reason, they were running behind,

(25:56):
you know, schedule, okay, and I ended up waiting two hours to
do this audition. So when Iwalked into the room too finally auditioned,
I was kind of in a notgreat mood. And then I realized,
it's like, you know what,so what it took two hours? You're
here now? And so a longstory short, I could have been the
guy that you know, been theI don't know if I can say this,

(26:18):
so I'll say butthole. All right, it's okay. I could have
been the asshole and you know, acting fool about you know, the weight
and everything else, and something justsaid no, let it go. And
I literally felt it fall off ofme. And then I went through the
audition and deed he stopped at theend and she's like, oh my god,
you're so funny. And honestly,at that time, I was still

(26:40):
you know, you you would doyour scenes and all that kind of stuff.
But then you look to see, okay, was that good? I
was still in that was a goodstage, And when she said it,
something about it just kind of confirmed. It's like, yeah, relax,
do your thing anyway. And that'show I got my first gig. I
like, I like your mission statement. I actually copied and pasted, so
I love it comedically and dramatically. As a multi hyphen it creative. My

(27:07):
mission is to uplift, encourage, and inspire as many people as possible,
most importantly our future generations, withunique, unexpected and non stereotypical roles.
Yes, I love that, Thankyou speak to that a little bit In
regards to the stereotypical roles that youthat you that you're referring to, well,
there's a lot of Basically, thereare what they call archetypes character arc

(27:30):
types. There are particular storylines thateverybody's seen a thousand times, and they
may change the music, but it'sthe same same thing, same exact same
movie. I'm so tired of seeingus get our ass with this, slaves.
I'm not doing this. I don'tcare my first role, my first
big role, better or not not? That not doing it? I don't
care either. Go ahead, I'msorry. No. Actually know what I

(27:55):
was going to say, though,is that you know, I feel like,
okay, I'm not saying that thosedon't serve a purpose because I sometimes
I just I love some silly moviesand I like something that's familiar, But
not every time I go to themovies, and if I see another,
well again, some people tend tostick in one lane and they're selling pepsi,

(28:17):
And honestly, it's like, okay, well, why would I try
to sell more pepsi when I've gotthe ability to do other stuff. So
if you want to put me ina pepsi movie, I'll do it,
But I got some other stuff thatI want to do that is just way
different in the shows of black people, actually all of the actors in a
way different light than you normally wouldsee them, And so I enjoy doing

(28:38):
that. That's dope. That's dope. What stuck out to me about that
when I read that, I waslike, Yeah, someone gets it.
And because I kind of think likein the acting world, for us as
millenated people all look at you doingit was the sourus. You know,

(29:00):
you know, we get typecast orstereotype. Does that still go on in
this day and time and how doesit? Yes, even with the World
Wide Web and all the independent filmsand things of that nature. Yeah,
Well, especially for TV television,in my opinion is it's a very fast
moving casting process, and it's notso much about the show or who they're
putting in it. If the showis, it's who the show is for.

(29:22):
The show is for Middle America,it's not for New York in LA.
The show is for everybody else, and so on television, typically most
of the characters will look like whothey are playing, which is why in
twenty some odd years, I thinkI've only played the villain twice because you
don't look because I don't look one. But the thing is, it doesn't

(29:45):
take it to face it. You'redoing it too. I'm not if you
approached me in a dark excuse me. See, and I'm telling you you
looked at my resume of it isI've been I'm in charge of the investigation
because I'm tall. Let's see,I am the neighbor guy. I'm the

(30:11):
trusted person that everybody talks to.I'm the dad. Oh lord, yeah,
I am the dad all day long. And there's there's one other character.
But but long story short, there'sa particular lane that literally when I
show up, everybody in the auditionroom goes, oh, this dude is
here. Yeah, because it's becauseit's one of those. Now, the

(30:33):
fun part for me is when Iget to play outside of that book.
But I have to say playing whatyou look like? The unit bought me
that little house over there, Soyeah, exactly. So you know,
it's like, I'm not complaining,but I can't deny that that still exists
because it's something else. Yeah,I want to do that do other things
also, and so so let meread what it is that I So there

(30:59):
was so when you sent me theemail, and you did, it was
just a little blurb where you describedyourself. It's four words, you said,
the actor, the writer, theproducer, and the thinker. And
oh, actually five words the dreamer. Yes, yes, yes, and
yes. I tell people that.So people in interviews, when I've been
interviewed, they ask, what wouldyou tell anybody up and coming, What

(31:23):
kind of advice would you give them? I would always say, keep creating.
Your life depends on it, rightand literally, if you can't see
yourself getting out of bed in themorning, you won't, right. And
so when I think about dreamers, that's another word for creators, creatives.
So that was near and dear intomy heart when you said the dreamer,
talk to me more about that. What did you mean? What were you

(31:44):
thinking when you sent that to meand said the dreamer. Well, that's
just something I've said. Well I'vebeen and for me, I'm a dreamer.
That's what creates, you know, ideas, that's my creativity space.
That's one of the many, youknow, one of them. Since I
was a child, I can rememberdreams, I remember wanting, I remember

(32:07):
you know, believing in I believein seeing myself in the future through dreams.
You know. That's what catapulted meinto what I wanted to do,
you know, to make it comeinto fruition. That's really important, you
know. But that's also like somethingabout being a dreamer is you the boundaries

(32:28):
that you will push, you know, because in dreams they're all over the
place, right you don't even knowwhat's going to happen, but you're pushing
the boundary. You're going past boundaries. You're not staying in this certain idea
of what you're supposed to be fallenand you wake up, Oh I'm still
alive, and let me go backand figure that out, you know.
So I find it important to dreamand to remember that you're a dreamer and

(32:52):
remember your dreams, and you knowthere's power in your dreams. You know.
I used to read a little CarlJunk Dude. I went there a
little moment. So yeah, that'skind of like my take on it.
That's what, you know, broughtme to want to be a creative,
you know, remembering dreams from whenI was like four years old, I
couldn't. I still remember, andI'm like, I'll write a story about

(33:14):
that, which goes into my writingyes. I used to write like little
short stories and everything like that, and that was just what's me getting ideas
out on paper. I didn't eventhink I was a writer per se.
I just liked it. I liketo read and write, but not really
like good in English. I waslike, I don't want to. But
yeah, you know, so thatjust kind of like steps steps in my

(33:37):
life to push me into the futureand to the present. You know,
yeah, yeah, yeah, Ilove it. And we're going to get
into it, you know, writer, director, author, We're going to
get into it. But before wedo that, I want to show a
few reals and trailers and things ofthat nature. We don't do the TMI
trailer right at this one. Justdo their real and then we'll come back

(34:00):
with the t on my one.But let's see what they've been up to.
Let's see who y'all talking to.They want to know they knows.
All right, y'all about to seektelling people's business, You too, y'all
about to see? All right, hollowed you. I never wanted to see.

(34:22):
That was not meant for you.Whatever God has planned for you,
it doesn't always start off with rosesand why here, what's your business?
Mom? Is totally tripping, andI want to divorce from her and I
want to come live with you. You're gonna leave in the middle of a

(34:43):
conversation. I see you out heretalking to some other people. It was
a pleasure meeting to Yeah. Doyou think she's a little Craig Craig,
Oh yeah, hm, wow, that boy, she loved you. She

(35:15):
got you back. He started pickingthem off. Security guy, He shot
back, thank you, sur elicisSergeant k. This is Officer Cabrera.
Thanks for talking to us. Importanttime. It's for you guys. Anything

(35:37):
you got on a shooter would bea big help. Shooter head on a
hoodie. But I saw his face. Kid was young, couldn't have been
more than eighteen, nineteen toimes. Was there anyone else in the car?
Any accomplices? I tried to see, but couldn't make anything out tendant windows.
You said you got to look atthe shooter's face. Can you describe

(35:58):
him? Oh? Hispanic kid? That helps. Did he say anything that
might hint to the motive? Ifhe did, I didn't hear it.
Were there any threats made of thebusiness before him? Nothing? I would
have heard about something like that justa few we have more, but just

(36:20):
a just a few little, youknow, snippets for the people so they
can see who we're talking to andwho we're dealing with. The very talented,
the very talented d L the ElliottLo. They didn't want to roll
off my tongue. It was like, what wasn't the name over here in
the ridge shirt? I don't knowwhat he was trying to say. Deep,
that's quite a new nickname. Ihaven't heard that one, you know.

(36:45):
Just call me the Elliott and KendallMcCrae, you guys give I had
another handclap for them and the workthat they've been putting in, you know.
But I also wanted to if youcould show the t m I trailer
so that we can get into thatdiscussion. They are on their promo tour

(37:07):
for this film, and I wouldlove to continue to celebrate this film with
them on this show. You know. Reggie came and we had a good
time, and he was like hecornered me up in the hallway. He
was like, look, I needall my people on here. I was
like, danges and whatnot? Comeon de bot. He was like,

(37:27):
you want the ship, ship?I want the ship. He was like
I got this ship you want Okay. I was like, it is my
pleasure, it is this is thisis fun for me. Well, thank
you man. This was And Igot to say thank you to Reggie too.
I hope he's not listening because Ican't. I can't say it to

(37:47):
his face because I lose cool points. Is he I was he he wrote
a hell of a script and andjust totally gave us room to do what
we do. Yes, yes, yes, you know. He's so.
He was so proud of you all. He we showed all of you on
the on his show. We showedall of the actors that was a part
of the film, and so hegot to brag about each one of you

(38:08):
all individually. So I haven't seenthat show. Go back and watch it
on YouTube or Facebook. Go backand watch when he was on he bragged
about you guys, and he wasteI mean, that's you know. There
was a great cast. I haven'thadn't worked with him yet, but I
was a little shocked when I gotthere. I had a small part,

(38:29):
but I was like, oh mygosh, they're amazing, Like the acting
was really great. The Elliott,Yeah there, you know, these are
masters veterans you're working with, youknow, Jacqueline Fleming amazing, and I
was like kind of like a littlefan, you know, like, oh,
she's so good, and Angelia everybodywas really good, and it was

(38:49):
just great to be in a spacelike that. Yeah, be invited into
a space like that when you're workingreally hard to get to that space and
then you get there. So that'smy appreciation to Reggie for get me well,
shout out you, Reggie Gas.He's what he said, particularly about
you. He said, you seeher, you see her pretty face.
I said, yeah, and she'snot just a pretty face like when she

(39:13):
opens up. She is a dynamicactress actor. He enjoyed you so much,
so he really you know, hereally gave you your koodles. And
as I was watching everything, Isaid, oh, wow, she is
dynamic. So yeah, she's quitepowerful. Yeah, and he did tell
me he just let you go.Well he did to a point. Here's

(39:36):
here's what actually happened. I hadsomething planned for the character that I was
playing, Brian Wilkerson, a relationshipcounselor you know, therapist type person,
and I had something planned that Iwas gonna, you know, do for
that character. And What happened wasI got there and in the very first
scene where I'm opposite somebody, itoccurred to me as I was watching them

(39:57):
that if I do what I wasplanning to do, that it would detract
from what was happening over there. And so I decided and I took a
break, and I pulled Reggie overand I said, Rich, you know
what we talked about. I don'tthink it's gonna fly. And he's like,
what do you mean? And I, long story short, he just
said, you know what, Itrust you because we've worked together before.

(40:20):
And so what I decided was mycharacter was the audience, and so I
didn't do I just responded how Ithought the audience might respond to the person
I was talking to. And thething is, if I'm right, then
the audience is laughing because they alreadyknew how to feel right. And the

(40:42):
fact that he let us do itthat way instead, I think it really
worked out well. And so yourcharacter was an audience member, no,
no, or the mindset of anaudience. In my mind, I was
representing the audience because I was talkingto a lot of people that had a
lot of relationship and or sexual issues, and so I was responding in the

(41:07):
same manner that I thought it wouldbe viewed by the audience, and by
making the audience correct, they're relaxed. And then when they went back to
the A storyline with Jacqueline and Reggieand everybody, it gave it that much
more intensity because we were kind ofsort of the break. But it was
genius on Reggie's part because we alsosaw that there were more than the situation

(41:29):
that they were discussing on the Astoryline. There's countless of relationship and sexual
issues that come up, plus theones the audience already knows that they had.
So I just thought it was agenius move on his part to do
it that way. It took mea second to wrap my mind around.
I get it now, Okay.I know. In acting classes that I've

(41:51):
taken, I know they say, like, well, one teacher told me,
like, the first character you thinkof, the first way you think
about playing this character, throw thatout and trouble with something different. Yep,
And that was that. That wasyeah, Well I had already done
that, and so I still hadcome in with something. What she's referring
to right now is the first waythat you think you ought to play a

(42:15):
character is exactly the same thing thateverybody else has seen. So if you
want to stand out, you say, okay, I could do it the
same way as everybody else, orI can find some other ways to emote
these, you know, to getthis scene done. And so I had
done my homework, but then itwas like, it's still it would have

(42:36):
worked, but it didn't fit aswell as playing it completely differently. Okay.
And I discovered that in the moment, and Reggie was like, go
do it. That makes it,That makes it good, That makes it
really good. Okay, So withoutfurther ado, let's show the t o
my trailer again for the people.Do you believe that a person should tell

(42:57):
their future spouse everything about themselves beforemarriage? Why are you being so dramatic?
Ramatic? You want to see dramatic. I'm gonna show you dramatic now.
I don't want to know everything aboutmy dude because people can't handle the
truth. Yes, you should telleverything about yourself. When I wouldn't marry
some fool if I thought he wouldlie to me, so you wouldn't have

(43:20):
been upset. I would have beenupset, but I wouldn't have walked out.
So I want to know everything, how many men, how many times,
how many different places, everything.I'm checking everybody out before I get
married because I don't want to haveto mortgage our house to get his brother
out of prison. And then youwait till the day before I wanted to

(43:45):
tell me. Really, what's thepoint of being honest with women if they
can't handle the truth? Monica,You're the only woman I ever told because
I believe you. Yeah, Imean I didn't even know that. There
was just too much information for me. I love it. So guys,

(44:09):
did you guys just have a blastdoing this film? A total, a
total blast. Yeah. So Ijust want to sit in on every moment
just because it was. It wasfun to watch. Yeah, So what
do you what's your personal take?Start with you, kindam, what's your
personal take on h too much information? And the question is would you tell

(44:31):
them, tell your soon to bespouse correct everything about your is it is
it specifically your sex CapAids? Oris it just whatever you know? So
I'm gonna be you know, I'mbeing authentic here, So I would end

(44:52):
up telling everything and let in time. But I am a person that's I
don't know if because I'm a sadterrius or whatever. But I tell a
lot of truths. But I'm likekind of conservative and certain things, but
i want to know who this personis. And I've been around people in
previous relationships that have told a lotof their business and I'm like, I

(45:15):
don't know, you know, andthen some people who don't share anything,
and then it comes out anyway.Yeah, So I mean, I think
it's okay to have some truth, even if it's like not the detailed truth,
but it just sets precedence for avery transparent relationship and the honesty and
trust I just feel like may floweasier. But see, I'm not an

(45:36):
expert in relationships, but I'm likemore for telling as much truth as you
can as yourself. Yes, rightat any time, you know, but
you should be with somebody who canyou know, that's what you can handle,
your truths, you know. SoI don't know, that's what I
got. I've been seeing this videogoing viral, going around Instagram and and

(46:00):
I think it's on TikTok by nowas well, and it's a it's real,
it's a real moment and they wereengaged, getting ready to get married,
and he told her that he hadseveral affairs with men in college.
Interesting, and he told her rightbefore, oh, day before the wedding.

(46:21):
Yeah, maybe not the day before, but like right in the vicinity.
Yeah. And it's I mean, this has been a viral thing.
I should have showed it. Ishould have pulled it up. I should
have pulled the real I think actuallyI saw that one too. Yeah,
and he and she's going off, she's like noe and she was. He
was like somebody would be happy tohave any anybody would be happy to have
a man like me, a manlike me. And he's hurt, like

(46:42):
you can. His heart is brokenbecause she's not accepting it. So I
wanted to ask you, Kendall, with this truth telling that you would like
prior to you getting married, ifthat was his truth, how do you
feel? How would you feel aboutit? I would, Well, we
tell the truth so we can makeour decisions for ourself. That's what you
allow. We'll talk about freedom.Come on a lot in relation. Come

(47:06):
on, and if you're not tellingthe truth, you're not allowing a person
to freedom that makes decisions. Letme know what it is so I can
make an educated decision. I feelinformed. Yeah, so not to say
I had a circumstance that, butI had a situation where that was a
question. Okay, so I waslike, well, and there were things
surrounding it. I would want toknow that truth so I can say this

(47:28):
doesn't work for me, Okay, that's it. I mean, it's gonna
hurt, of course, but you'regonna know what works for you. You're
gonna know where to lead guide yourselfinto something that does. And at that
point, I feel like it comesdown to the difference between being his friend
or his enemy, Like, becauseyou know, if you know right now
we could be friends, you know, you tell me that you can part
of friends. Yes, later ondown the road in the relationship and I

(47:52):
find out, yeah, now youcreated it. You're not gonna you created
an enemy because they're withholding all ofthat and friendship is still on the table.
Yeah you're off. Yes, earlyones, That's just how I feel.
Yep you, yep, I do. And then they look to the
guy on the end. I mean, I just want to know what would
be a deal breaker for you,A deal breaker. I never asked questions

(48:15):
like you know, how many peopleand all that kind of stuff, honestly,
because I don't. I don't care, but I do care if it
was a situation where somebody used tojump out of birthday cakes or work in
the champagne room, where it's like, okay, I need to know that,
or the last thing I would everwant to do is to you know,
I'm all into somebody and we goback for their fifteenth you know,

(48:37):
class reunion or something crazy, andthen when we walk in, everybody's like,
oh, Debbie's here, and everybody'sall lit up, and I'm like,
what was it? Body? So, you know, happy to see
Debbie wore? Oh well, doesshe still do the you know, the
flip thing? And you're like,oh wow, the whole football team,
the whole team that that would bebothersome. But you know, short of

(48:58):
that, Hell, I tell myfriends that are in my immediate circle,
not even necessarily just people that Idate. I tell them anything, because
honestly, it's like, if youtell don't ask me a question you don't
want to know what answered to becauseI will tell you because I'm yeah and
so you know, but with thaton the table, there's nothing that they

(49:19):
can find out about me later,or nothing that they can say that's gonna
hurt, hurt my feelings or anythingelse. Well, I told you what
it is. Yeah, you acceptedme then. Yeah. You know,
by the way, Reggie is on, he says, I'm on, and
they are doing they're doing the darnthing. They're doing a damn thing.
We can say, thank you forthrowing us onto this show. Yeah,
thank you. Yeah, I'm thedamn thing. Reggie is the darn thing.

(49:43):
Yeah, the damn thing. Yeah. Is there any chatters? Uh
or any callers? No color thechatter? What are you talking about?

(50:05):
Oh? Wow yeah, oh that'sbeautiful. That's beautiful. Yeah. Yeah,
when the people you work with,I'm a shout out. A couple
of people on here. They alwaysthey like to watch. So these are
the people on the I G.And right now they're only seeing this like
they're seeing like the behind the scenesis what I call it. They're the

(50:28):
nosiest of the noses because they won'teven know to the Facebook or YouTube so
they can see it front facing. They're not even getting this view. They're
just getting us like this is whatthey want to see, got it?
So we have to shout film outtoo, because they're diehards. Carlton shout
out to you hey, hey,hey T Tucker. Ohio player, all
right, ohio player? Is it? I think my mom used to dance

(50:53):
like that. I'm kidding. Imean, well up right down to the
two steps down the steps, okay, anyway, King Allen on drums,
Oh what up? King Allen ondrums? I know you. Hey,
Hey, Hey, Veils, DereDarryl. Hey, hey from Houston see

(51:15):

and Mario and Keno and Reggie andOki and d T. Easy. It
is what it is, y'all handlesand I don't know for Jonathan like I

(51:36):

you guys for tuning in. Okay, So we want to know what's next
for you all, and we're goingto get some of your hold on,
hold on, hold on, holdhold on, hold on, hold on.
I was gonna say, we're gonnaget their websites and their I m
d bes up here. But firstwe definitely want to uh talk about uh

(51:59):
Elliott book his audiobook. So that'shis author page and that's me looking serious.
Yeah, And the name of yournew audiobook is the Rise of the
Unicorn The Rise of the Unicorn, and you can find it on There we
go, and we can find iton Amazon. And I wanted to get

(52:20):
more into it, but we're runningout of time. So what we want
to do is have you back sowe can talk about you and the audiobook.
But can you give us a littlebit a little yes I can.
As a matter of fact, allright, thanks for one. The the
book and the e book are availablepretty much everywhere. I mean even in
Walmart. I was amazed that gotthat deal. But anyway, congratulations Walmart

(52:44):
is just this book is in Walmart. You know, we're used to Amazon,
but Walmart. Yeah, but I'mon It's It's on all the platforms,
all the major ones. Thank you, Thank you very much. Talk
about the voice that you did allthe voice over for the audiobook, Yeah,
that's only on Amazon. I didfifty five characters, and I had
one actress friend of mine who's tremendous. She played the role of Commissioner Evelyn

(53:06):
Kennedy. Because I really wanted thatcharacter to have a very distinct voice.
I did not do fifty five differentvoices. I did about ten different voices
for the main characters, but allof them have different spirits and intentions,
and you'll hear it in the dialogue. It's a suspense thriller. It's all
about Gus Martin, who is anegotiator for the LAPD. He gets called

(53:28):
into a failed bank robbery where theterrorists have about thirty hostages inside of a
bank, and halfway through the ordeal, he realizes that he is the actual
target. So then he has tofigure out, Okay, why him and
why would they pull this off?Why did they need him to be there?

(53:50):
While he's trying to save these thirtysome odd people. Meanwhile, the
bank is surrounded with crowd of peopleyou know the lookie lose always show up,
and everybody's texting and I am doingIG and Twitter and everything else,
and they're putting out bad information becausethey don't really know what's going on.
But the whole world is watching thistake place. So anyway, I will

(54:10):
say this, I have yet tomeet anybody that has read the book or
listened to the book that could predictwhat was going to happen next. And
to a person, everybody has beenfloored. And I won't say everybody was
in tears, but they're definitely emotionallymoved by the end of the book.
Okay, so you will not guessthe twists and turns. Trust me.

(54:31):
I love a good thriller, andyeah, I love it, and you
gave me a complimentary coffee and we'retelling my business. Everybody's going to be
asking me for books. Yes,yeah, by it. You know.
So if you could show their IMDBsand on here and then we'll I want

(54:52):
to talk with Kendle there was okay, yeah, so Christmas love story,
they can they can look for thatfrom you kindo on on your I M
d B also missed coming back around, so please check it out the season.
But it's also a love story,so love is always in the air.

(55:15):
You know. Did you write that? No, I did not write
on and there is, but youhave been writing and directing as well.
I've written. I've just completed ascript. So that'll be the next big
venture for me. I'm very excited. It's a suspense thriller, so you

(55:36):
know, I'm looking for I thinkI'm available that those for those those three
weeks, I think I'm available, you know, he said it. Yeah,
So you know, I'm looking forwardto just you know, getting that
project in motion, just with everyyou know type of support I can get
from amazing actors that would be youknow, stellar and a budget yep,

(56:00):
and that is definitely the key,you know, the money. Yeah,
because I had we had a seriesa little while back in Gender X and
you know we did that's what Isay, Agenda X and missed Call right.
I was, Yeah, I wasin one miss Call. That was
like my first feature film that Iwas in Atlanta. So yeah, you
know that was when the bug reallywas like, okay, I'm doing it.
I'm going to come out here thisone line. But you got that

(56:24):
thing. You did it that thingand look at where you are now.
Show. I was doing my scenewith Margaret Choe and she said I didn't
know she was being for real, but I took it for real. She
said, you're really good. Youshould move to l A. And I
said, okay, I don't knowif I said yeah, and you know,
I don't know if I did it. You know, I was like,
I'm gonna just you know, takeit as positive and just you did

(56:47):
it forward, you did it andyou're doing it you know every day.
Congratulations you yeah, yeah, youknow, you took your dreams and the
dreamer and you you made it.Uh you brought it to fruition. Yeah,
that's what you did. So yeah, we're proud of you. We're
proud of you. Guys. Youknow, show their IMDb pages so that
people can know where to come, where to see, where to look.

(57:08):
Yeah, that's that's I'm always inthe hospital. Yes, lots of work
loads of things that you can lookfor for the Elliott and then who else
we got we got I mean whatelse we got? Who else we at?
Yes, look at come back downfor a second, please look at

(57:31):
the beautiful kindo. Yes, yes, yes, and yes mm hmmm.
We're looking to fill that up.It's more than a lot of us.
Believe me, there's no there's noshame. You've been doing your thing out
here and continued success and you're writingand you're directing. This is awesome.

(57:52):
This is where it starts. Youknow. You know, I remember the
first year I moved, I wasworking at a restaurant. Yes, you
know a lot of us do,but some don't have to. That's great.
And this gentleman, this black gentleman, came up to me and was
talking about, oh you're here, you know, you know you're beautiful.
What are you gonna do. Andthen he said, one thing you have

(58:13):
to do in this city is youhave to create your own work. It
was intimidating, but I was.But the funny thing is I wrote before.
I just didn't think to write scripts, and I wrote, you know,
short stories. But it was like, wait a minute, I gotta
do that. And then but Ihad so many ideas. I don't even
know why I was. I waslike, you know, now when we

(58:36):
you know X series, it startedflowing. I didn't even realize I was
a screenwriter. And so you know, when you get around people that inspire
you and everything, Jason sims prud, all of them. Yeah, it
just kind of starts to flow better. Even though you know, writing is
still not like the number one thing. But I, like I said,

(58:59):
I have somebody. It's going togrow, you know. So I'm excited
and I'm glad that somebody says somethingto me, that saw something that was
like you, this is what youneed to do to push for it because
you have these angel guides along theway, however they come. And that's
appreciation, that's gratitude. I heardsomebody say they're called destiny helpers Destiny.

(59:20):
I like that yeah, I lovethat. So what can I look forward
for? You got from you guys? Next? What's coming up next?
Well, we will see stayed thenext episode, audition and everything. Okay,
y'all see her, y'all saw thereal you see your face, you
see her chops, you know, grab her up, you know she's a

(59:42):
star. Well, you know, the funniest thing that they did was try
to make us think that we haveto try to become something that we already
are. That's the biggest trick they'vetried to pull on us, and we're
already there. That's the game.Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's true.
Yeah, what about you? Let'ssee. Well one, I'm it
looks like the actors strike is finallygoing to resolve sometime in the next few

(01:00:02):
weeks, so I'm happy about that. So there's some TV movies that I'm
up for. We'll see what happensthere. What I've written that I'm not
quite done with as an afro futuristiclove story called eleven minutes and fourteen seconds
short version is you know what leapyear is? Obviously all right, it
comes around every four years, andif you take one day and divide it

(01:00:28):
by four, it's six hours apiece. The thing is, it actually
takes the Earth three hundred and sixtyfive days, five hours, forty six
minutes, and forty four seconds somethingto that degree to be exactly a year
long story short. Even with leapyear, the time is off eleven minutes

(01:00:49):
and fourteen seconds every year. Andso I can't give the plot away.
But there's somebody from this dimension thatneeds to meet somebody in this dimension,
and the only way to do itis to bring the timeline. Yeah,
that's like my favorite type of stuffright there. Yeahs from some thriller.
So when y'all start casting, cany'all not forget your girl? Come on

(01:01:12):
at least shameless plugs like you're inon that one. I'm in on all
the things I've been talking about.I was gonna help y'all up in the
hallway like Red and me. Lookme tell y'all something. I'm bringing the
ship. That's awesome. So we'redown, well, actually we're there,

(01:01:37):
but indulged me for a second,Tony. So what I like to do
at this time is leave the peoplewith some inspirational words, some encouraging words
of wisdom and motivational words for thepeople. So people that are aspiring actors
or writers or directors, such asyourself. What would you tell the people?
What would be your last words?Or not last words? That sounds

(01:02:00):
a little morbid. No, nothear what you say. The one life
is hard. This business is veryhard. So when you decide to take
the plunge and go into entertainment,be it music or acting, or in
any facet of entertainment at all,you must come in with an extremely big

(01:02:20):
why. And I don't mean theletter why. I mean w h Y
And it can't be oh, Iwant to be famous. It's got to
be something that will get you throughwhen some of the nonsense that goes on
in the industry happens. When somebodytells you that you're going to get this
part. I've been told to gohome pack, we're going to Canada tomorrow

(01:02:40):
morning. There's some things we gotto work out this, that and the
other, and we're going to calland confirm your booking later tonight. Never
called wow, and I'm like, well, maybe maybe they're going to send
the car. It's like no,No, you just didn't get the role
for whatever reason. And when thatstuff happens, it can break you.

(01:03:00):
If you allow it to. ButI've got a big why. So it's
like, all right, then I'llcatch you the now on the next one.
But that would be my main thingis keep a big y and know
what your reason is for doing whatyou're doing. All right? Can I
ask what your why is? Yeah? My I got three, three children,

(01:03:20):
and I want them to be proudof what I do. Uh.
There are certain roles that I've turneddown because I know how it would impact
them, get and teased because theirdad did X, you know whatever X
is on TV. So that they'rethey're my driving force. That's all right.
Yeah, that's a great one.And yourself, what would you leave

(01:03:40):
the people with I would you know, say, just it's it's hard.
Life is hard. Just stay thepath because that is the hardest part of
it all. It is going tobe tough to staying the path, no
matter what they say, is thestrongest part of you. That's part of
a lot of your power is thatstaying power and working towards your goal and

(01:04:04):
finding yourself, finding your truths inthat sticking to your truths no matter what.
I just feel like that's kind offor me something that I mean hopefully
is working but just staying the pathand trusting in yourself and believing that your
purpose. You know your purpose, and this is it. And so that's

(01:04:26):
what I leave you with. That'sright, that's right. So tell the
people your handles where they can geta hold to you. All. You
can reach me pretty much anywhere.I'm easy to find now, d Elliott
Woods. I think it has itdown at the bottom of the screen down
there there, Yeah, there itis. So that's on ig Twitter,
and I'm pretty easy to find onFacebook also, and as far as the

(01:04:47):

up on ig Twitter and Facebook.Okay, and well my ig is right

it for yourself. And even ifyou're invited and if they say come to
La, come here where you canmake it, you still first when you

is just another example of getting here, believing in yourself and doing the work.
