want to shout out Music Cares.I said, next time I came back,

(03:34):
I was going to show you guysa little video from Music Cares.
They so again, they're a nonprofitorganization and what they did was helped me
out in my time and need whenI did lose my son last year,
just really couldn't get out of bedand do really anything mentally emotionally. So
they not only helped me out witha counselor, but they helped me out

(03:57):
with some bills as well. Sothey we had a big celebration pre Grammy
celebration, and they honored John bonJovi and so many people, so many
icons. Was there, but Iwas there and they showed me on the
big screen. So here's a littleclip of that. Shout out for me,
Tony, please freetime Wednesdays, Let'sgo. You know I am,
I mean you were this song storysinging all my life. I I love

(04:20):
R and B. However I doa little dance music, a little edo.
I call it world music. Rand B called jazz. I would
arn. My career took me thebest turn when I realized who I was,
everything started to just grow. Eventhough I thought I had it all
together, I wasn't ready for whatwas to come next. I wasn't ready

(04:44):
for the fuel of the emotions. In March of twenty twenty three, my
son and my oldest seven uh pastthe past of March. The person I
didn't understand it. His name wasJoshua Joshua Rockman brew artist as well.
But what happens to my world isI tried to stop it. I tried

(05:04):
to stop my world. I triedto just sleep. I tried to just
keep my eyes closed, and Icouldn't even mentally or emotionally, and go
work for anybody, or go workat a mine to five, or just
even got work at a Walmart.I'm hurting. I remember another musician friend

(05:24):
and money told me he had gottenhelpful music cares. And I called the
number and Robert Taylor answered the phone, very gentle and kind voice. I
really just asked for rent, butRobert n he knew that if the red
was suffering, soul was utilities andeverything else. So before he got off
the phone, he said, it'severything else you want to tell me?

(05:46):
I said yeah, And I toldhim that I had just lost my son,
just buried my son, and Itold him that I was barely getting
out of bed. And I toldhim that my other son, my middle
son, that I'm worrying about himtoo, and I try to be a
mother, but I'm afraid and I'mgonulna failed my other son because shit,

(06:09):
cause I can't stop hurting. Causehe didn't suggest. He did ask what
I want counseling for my surnant, and I said yes. But everything happened
right away, and I was ableto pay my rent twice with what I've
received for two much and then Iwas able to still pay the rest of
the utility to think. I remainedit about maybe six to ten weeks of

(06:29):
counseling because these emotions, they canget out of control. They can be
angry, they can be depressed, they can be frustrated. Here's a few
tools to keep you back in alignmentwith yourself. And that's what I needed.
I I still need it. Becauseof music Cares, I was able
to have hope where I thought therewas money. I write with my son

(06:50):
sometimes. Now I can hear himand we write song. Now he gets
to play music in my ear,and I wanna say thank you to me
the cares from the top of myhead at the bottom of my seat,
and the dutch of my soul.I wouldn't say things to you because you're
still you know if I love it. This song became when a bond for

(07:17):
Wanton, So yeah, that wasme bearing my soul, being very vulnerable.
You know. It took me awhile to decide if I was gonna
show this on this platform. AndI know it's just pride, just pride,
that's all. But I'm not theonly one. We in California,
where the prices are high and theinflation is even higher. And we come

(07:43):
here because we want to live ourdreams, and simply put, they just
make it hard as hell for usto do so. So I'm voting on
every initiative in regards to getting ridof homelessness, getting rid of homelesses,
getting rid of homelessness for veterans well, and getting them the care and the
mental help that they need as well, building more homes in the state of

(08:05):
California. I understand that we gotto preserve wildlife in the forest, but
we have to preserve us as well, and so I'm voting, you know,
yes on every initiative that gets usout of the streets. So we're
not gonna do this have and havenot thing, California. I notice what
you won't, but it's not gonnahappen. So anyway, that's my soap

(08:28):
box for that. Okay, wegot Oh, let's do uh, speaking
of my children, my son, let's let's show that Yp Drayski as always
shout out to Uyp. You know, it's dragging all night with the low

(08:56):
the loon with doing a few lapsaround a bitty and a bizo. He
was hopping up Pivot and our kidsoff mixtapes jumping out the trunk like Nipto
all black batmos bill no rental.Oh, white bitch got the tricks going
then on, I just ride myrecve bbs, I got our break on.
I'm gonna let that bitch that cuts. Yes, yes, yes,

(09:20):
all right. Uh that's why pdreci had his fine as. If you
don't know, now you know themixtape is out. It's called play a
Shit. It is on all platforms. It's a family affair. Go cop
that this is. Uh. Themixtape is something that they actually put together
before my son passed on March thefirst, twenty twenty three, So this

(09:45):
was their last body of work together, him and my middle son, White
Pe Draski. So you know, again, go support on all platforms and
you may even be able to catchWhite ped Draski downtown San Diego with a
CD in hand for you. Hecan autograph it when you see him.
All right, Okay, now letoh you know what, I think we
have time for probably one TikTok video. I'll send like what maybe too this

(10:07):
time. Okay, let's let's let'sshow one of them. So you have
a private little beach full of celebritiesand bodies getting screwed and nobody cares because
they're supposed to be dead. Andthis has been a major market, a
major market that he tried to blameon Oprah Winfrey. I think is you
know, the Panda, Penda penda, all that stuff is just it's so

(10:30):
real. You know, you wantto go get my shap until your eyes
pop out. Go ahead. Imean, that's up to you. But
you know, I just think that, you know, people just need to
realize what they're looking at when they'rewatching the television. Everything is right in
front of you. The revolution wastelevised, and don't nobody give me hello.
That's my dude right there. Yeah, if I could sit and smoke

(10:50):
and talk to him. Yeah, you actually sent that video in uh for
me to play, so, youknow, shout out to edwy Lingrat for
that video. But who is theoriginator? Conscious conscious MB two point?
Oh, we love your content.Keep putting it out there and we're gonna
keep showing it. So yeah,I play that because I know you want

(11:13):
to speak on that. Now,let me let me say my thing before
I could. You know Orlando, you know you can follow him, you
know, he he does kind ofwhat Kanye does. He puts he hits
a lot of hot buttons, right, and he says a lot of uh
triggering phrases, but they're never ina they're never articulated for me enough to

(11:35):
you know, string them all together. They're here, they're there, they're
everywhere, right, And so Iknow he says a lot of things that
we believe that it could be true, but the context behind them is where
I get lost, well with Orlando'sexactly what he's doing. He's saying.
It's almost like he talking in coldyou know what I'm saying. So it's

(11:58):
so you if you don't, ifyou've already been following, or you've been
having your own little thought process oryou know, like spirit drops something in
year and you're like, oh this, So he does it like that.
So he's not really just like comingout saying what it is. He's already
saying what you already know. Youknow what I'm saying. So but if
you don't know, then you're gonnaget lost in the sauce. But you

(12:20):
know, he just he just don'tgive a fuck, you know, like
he he said exactly, He's beenin that business for so long, you
know, and heeah, he wasa Disney kid. You know, so
a lot of the Disney kids theygo wild after Disney. Yeah, he
was. They just had a videoof him with no shirt off walking down

(12:43):
the street. Some I don't know, but I think bro just having Uh
he didn't seen so much and witnessso much and went through so much.
You know, he gotta have anoutlet, you know. He do it
in a comedic way, you know, because he said that, Yeah,
he said that, Oh, what'shis name? Was? Steve Rkle?

(13:07):
Who was Steve what's his name? That's that's on trial right now for the
for the bird Man's artists. HI can't even think a dude name right
now. Every time we show it'slike we go blink with the name little
Brave Wark. But he said, that's Steve Kle, Jilli O White,
Julia White. He's like, youknow, that's Julia White, you know.

(13:30):
And what was he just saying onthis video? What was he saying
that with the whole uh heart HarveyWeinstein thing that they were trying to blame
Oprah and that was a farce? What what was that about? Uh?
That I was I'm kind of losta lot. I kind of heard him
saying speaking on that. But youknow, like I said, he he
speaks in code so much to whereyou know, it's sometimes it just don't

(13:54):
make no sense. You know. Some of the stuff he just don't make
no sense. So that part wherehe was saying that it didn't it didn't
make no sense because supposedly that guycommitted suicide and killed himself or he died
or something in custody the list forthe Jeffy Jeffrey Epstein. He was talking
about Jeffy e Fstein trying to blameit on h on Oprah or something.

(14:15):
I don't know, think just okay, well you sent that video. So
my thought was, okay, hehad there are some contexts in here that
you want to talk about and thatyou agree with. I don't want to
say that I can't agree with nothingthat he's saying. I can't because I
don't know, you know, butyou know, you you hear things,
and you see things, and youknow, cat Will's kind of like blowing

(14:37):
the Lord laid off everything, andthen some of the things that he says,
you know, kind of go handhand in hand. Yeah, kind
of the same two peas in thepot. You know, I'm a I
consider myself a free thinker, aradical thinker. Uh. And you know,
I would say conspiracy theories, butthese things are not really that conspiracy

(14:58):
no more of these things are startingto come out. They're not really that
conspiracy issue anymore. Like you know, Aliens used to be a conspiracy.
Now it's like confirmed, you knowwhat I mean. So I I think
I would say that I'm a freethinker, and a lot of the things
that he says they kind of resonatewith what I think would be true.

(15:20):
But like I said, he kindof goes all around and you kind of
get lost pretty much pretty much. What you got next for you tell me,
hey, I don't know, damn, laptop baby is gone. She

(16:07):
a little genius. I'm gonna saythat right now, because if you notice
her cadence, her flow was sickerthan a lot of people. I know.
Yeah, she no, she knewwhere to put it. She knew
how to put you know, likegod, little girls, I bet you
she know what she's saying too. Can't annunciate as well. You can play

(16:32):
that video for her, like whenshe's probably I would give her a three
four about three more four more years. You can play that video for her.
And she's gonna tell you what shewas saying. Oh that I was
saying, change my diaper. Nomilk, no, no, no no,
I don't want to know. I'mmean milk no no no. She's

(16:55):
gonna know exactly what she was saying. Okay, do we have another one
or no? We have one forlast week. Let's do it it all
right. So here's how much itcosts to live in Bali as an American
who's been here for about two years, and just for reference, one hundred
US dollars is equal to one pointfive million indadesa rupiah, so your money
goes a long way. First up, we have renting. For the past
few months, I've spent about fivehundred dollars a month and that includes everything

(17:18):
from utilities, housekeeping, maid service, all that shit. So you have
nothing else to worry about. Nextup, we have food. Know what,
I am on a very strict diet. I still eat out for every
single meal breakfast, lunch, anddinner, and still someway. I've only
managed to spend four hundred and fiftydollars this month, and I eat out
a lot. Next up, wehave transportation and recently I did purchase my
own bike, but when I wasrenting one, it would cost me about
ninety dollars a month, and thenI would spend maybe an extra I'd say

(17:41):
forty to fifty dollars a month wheneverI needed to go long distances and I
just decided to have a driver.Next up, we have what I like
to call my fun shit category, and this is activities like kayaking, going
on yachts and shit like that, going to pottery classes, riding ATVs,
beach clubs, all that shit. And I'll spend about two hundred dollars because
stuff in Bali is pretty cheap andthere's a lot of free shot to do.

(18:02):
And finally, we have my miscellaneousexpenses, like my training at the
gym, going to get Dennis appointments, doctor's appointments, any work that I
have to do like recording and shitlike that, visa runs, you know,
flights and all that good shit. And for this I'd say I spent
on the average about three hundred dollarsevery single month. So over the past
few months, I've averaged spending aboutsixteen hundred dollars every single month living in

(18:23):
Bali. So if you're planning oncoming here, this is pretty much what
you can expect. That's beautiful.Yeah, oh my god, that almost
sounds too good to be true.Oh my god. They're leaving over eleven
at US over here, and notjust in America, but in California,
in southern California. They're cracking upat us. Okay, like what are
you guys doing with your life? But I had found that one because you

(18:48):
know, you know, I wantto live out of the country. Yeah,
you know, how to live abroad. And I actually talked to my
son yesterday and he's not adverse tothe idea. So that's what one way
to go. So yeah, butuh man, Bali sounds seems nice.
It sounds good, sounds real good. Just got to see the rest of

(19:10):
Baldi too. The third World countrypart, I'm just I don't know.
I don't know if if there howfar as the Third world, because you
know, Hawaii's like that, youknow, not really well, you know,
I don't know. Maybe I hada bad experience when I went to
Hawaii when I was in airth Force. You know, we were in the
resort areas and things like that. But you know, as soon as you
lead a resort area, you know, I was on the south side of

(19:32):
Saint Louis. I don't think ofit, but when I drove through there,
when third world country is like worldCairo in in you know, in
Egypt, that thing boy and theDominican Republic, that thing, you know,
it'd be poverty on the side ofthe world. Did you get to
the resort of your life? Ican't have fun because now I'm like messed

(19:55):
up. Well for what I hadjust seen. Yeah, yeah, you
know, and I want to goback out there and help and be like,
Okay, well, we ain't gotto spend my vacation money on this
resort that y'all not getting that youguys are not benefit benefiting from. Let
let's you know, give this tothe people. That's how it makes me
feel. Yeah, I feel Butwhat the what does the rest of the
body look like? And how faris it away from where he at?

(20:19):
Well, we ain't got to livejust like we don't have to live on
the south side of Saint Louis.I just don't go to that area.
I mean, we don't have tolive over there. I mean I would
like to go and see what theyou know, what the people are doing,
what the natives are doing, andwhat they need help with, you
know, especially if you think ofkind of like a mission, you want
to do a mission, Well,no, I would. I want to
move out of the country. Butif I get to a country where,

(20:41):
you know, there's extreme poverty, like, I'm not going to just ignore
it. I mean, I haveto live there in that area. But
I'm gonna you know, if ifI'm bringing, if I if my what
my income here says that I'm arich man there, then I'm definitely gonna
I mean, it's definitely. Ithink most people who do move over to

(21:02):
areas like that, I would thinkthat they do something like that. Well,
you know, for people, maybethat's that was real nice of you,
you know nice. But Baldy lookswonderful. What was that, Tony
you said? You saw that youwant to do all of it, everything,

(21:22):
all of it looked Oh he's afterall everything that he said, he
said, sixteen hundred dollars a month. What that's that's uh not even yeah,
that's he living good. You werein a room in California for that,
a room in somebody else's house thatyou might have to share a bed,
you know, or shared to twob it might be two beds in
one room. He's sixteen hundred,so he's spending about maybe about twenty thousand

(21:47):
dollars a year to live very luxurious. That's that's including utilities to anything over
twenty thousand. You you know you'rea rich man. You can live to
Brazil like that. Oh yeah,I do want to go to That's why
I said I want to go toBrazil. That's one of the ones that
I want to like that. Iwould live there Brazil and get a beautiful

(22:07):
two bedroom condo for ninety thousand.Oh my god, bought pay for pay
one right now. Congratulations, canget yourself ahead, claptop. Now are
you moving? Are you going? What are you going to do? Well?
This is for later okay, yeah, retirement rent Yeah, when rented
out. Oh you get your retirementplan. Man, we all supposed to

(22:33):
have a retirement plan. Lesson. But I think I think the retirement plan
definitely should be purchasing property, propertyoutside of the country and getting ready to
get the hell of body here. They start tripping. They already tripping.
Ye got to make it have anescape plan, playing with the weather and
all of that and everything. Whatthey want, Like, what do you

(22:55):
think they want you actually think theywant to like just kill off who everybody
except a group of people or whatdo you think you know? Or kill
us all, kill enough of usoff to the rest of us can be
dicilent slaves. This is how Ilook at it, you know. So
you know, when I drive,I do a lot of cross country drivet.

(23:15):
You know, we do a lotof cross country driving. And whenever
we're driving across country, you seeall of this open laying I'm talking about
for miles and hundreds of miles. It's just open until you get to the
big cities. So I don't understandwhy they're saying it's congested or it's overpopulated.
So like a lot of a lotof these people are saying there's too
many people on the Earth, likeyou know what I'm saying. So I

(23:36):
think it's more of a it's moreof a control issue, because we're never
going to run out of Earth, you guys control on Earth in Texas?
Wow? Who said that? Okay? You like him used to what happened?

(23:56):
I just think he went down toomuch. Yeah, yeah, way
down earth. He's starting to implantchips in people's head. And I don't
know about that. No, that'scrazy. And I was gonna say,
like, it seemed like we allstarted out liking Bill Gates too, and
then he just got way out ofhand. I think people generally like people

(24:17):
who had a lot of money first, and then they find out who they
are. They don't think about theconsequences. I mean, you have to
think when you strive to be oneof the richest people in the world.
I mean, to me, wantingto rule and take over the world is
kind of I mean, it's kissingcousins with wanting to be the most you
know, financially set person in theworld take over the world kind of like

(24:41):
they're right there along with one another, you know what I mean. Like,
you know, I want to beprosperous and you know, obviously well
off and things of that nature, you know, but I don't have the
desire to have the most you know, I got quiet I think I do.

(25:02):
So then that means you got towant to rule the world. No,
no, no, no, I'mjust playing. I'm not. You
know what, It's crazy because whenI was in college, we sit at
the table and we used to askeach other, you know, would you
rather be, uh, would yourather be in a town where you are
the richest person. So and thistown that you're in, you're you're the

(25:25):
richest, and you may only havea million dollars and everybody else got a
hundred thousands. You know what I'msaying? Would you want to live there?
Or would you want to live somewherewhere you're you're a billionaire and everybody's
a billionaire around you? And youknow, surprisingly a lot of people chose
to be the millionaire around one hundredthousand ears instead of being amongst the billionaires.

(25:45):
It's power, you know what I'msaying. So everyone wants to seem,
you know, better, higher thanthe next person. I don't know
what this world would be if itwas all equal. I don't know.
I don't know if it was evermeant to be that way. I know
that sounds crazy for me to sayit, but was it. Yeah,
teams would make you go, hmm, yeah, just equal, just everybody,

(26:10):
you know. But I like theidea of co ops and you know,
us growing our own food and youknow, coming together and everybody has
a need, but everybody has askill set that fulfills everybody's needs. I
like the thought of that. Ilike the little communities that's broke. Not
the cults, the bordering, butthe little communities that has broken off and
said, look, this is howwe're going to do things. Yeah,
and they've established their own money.I like that. I think we should

(26:33):
Bartering is the money. So ifyou got tomatoes and I got potatoes,
yeah, we can have a salad. We can make a salad. We
are today, we have We arefeaturing a special guest named by the name
of Devon Air Rhymes. He isa producer. Uh, he is an

(26:55):
artist. He is a he isa music director for Faith Evans. He's
produced some records on Yours Truly. He's also a hip hop artist himself.
And he is currently stuck in traffic. But it's all good because he's gonna
get here. But what we wouldlike to do is go ahead and show
his homage video just so that peoplecan see who they're about to encounter.

(27:18):
Shout out for every Tony, Jesus, jous, geniuses, jeous jus,
what circumstances I know, lit beokay, I know sometimes in my get

(27:49):
God's good, you ain't had asweet potato potty taste like this grandma cooking
as you just came miss whole familyover and she looks so proud that she
hit the verse the lord to makeaway. Somehow she love family together.
We all right here. She beenlooking forward to this king, y'all Yet
keep telling the kids go play inthe back and quit when around where it's

(28:12):
stress is whack. We all experiencestress, But I never met anybody who
said I enjoy being stressed out,or like you, feeling well, how
do you beat it? You beatit with systems. Most people spend their
energy escaping systems that don't instead ofspending their time and energy on the building

(28:36):
a system that does work. Stresscomes when you get information that we're not
prepared to get. It's just thatsomething, whatever the information is. We
owe money on a bill or whatever. That's when it's stressful. But if
we spend our time building systems thatdo work when that information comes, or

(28:56):
prepared to be able to manage it, we don't have to stress out about
genius. I would adventure this Godas my witness. My passion is endless,

(29:19):
my hustle relentless. Could have beenaverage. Father, forgive us.
I pray for the homeless snag withlead I could he never attempt this telling
me we cannot win. Be quiet, you cannot convince it. Really your
on a mission. I got supervision. I can see the ending. This
is the beginning winning this intention that'son my attention. Ain't no competition.
This is an addiction. Yeah, your nomicion. I got supervision. I
can see the ending. This isthe beginning winning this intention that's on my

(29:41):
attention. They no competition. Thisis an addiction. Though I went the
business, my creativity follows. Allright, yes, yes, all right,
you guys right on time. Lookat y'all having there in the building.
Hey, I'm here, happy tobe here, always dope to be

(30:03):
around, super dope people. Man, great energy, Thank you for having
me. Yeah, no worries,No worries. And I got to put
you right on the spot. Let'sget to it. So we just we
just heard your Your single is veryhustle. Come on, hustle, I
got to hustle. So tell usa little bit about the song. Tell

(30:26):
I know you just you know, just dropped it. Tell us about the
journey. I know you on yourtour. Run right now, go ahead,
and I would love to elaborate.Okay, so let me just jump
right into it. Okay. So, so the quality of your life is
going to be built on the principlesthat you that you have, and you
have to be able to make surethat you adhere to your own principles that

(30:49):
you discovering your journey. There's alot of dope principles and a lot of
dope places. One of one placewhere a lot of principles are is the
Bible. It's a lot of dopestuff in there. But from a business
the point and from a winning standpoint, and my acronym for win is what's
important now and now it's no opportunitywasted. Let's get it, y'all.
So in the record, I'm actuallydropping some of the principles some of the

(31:11):
things that I discovered to help peopleon they hustle. That's the idea.
One of the things I say isthere's four components to a win. I
was able to extract that from TimGrover, who was the coach for Kobe
Bryant and Michael Jordan, and Italk about that in the in the sequence
to a win, talent, intelligence, competition, resilience, and everybody's talented

(31:34):
it's something, but you lose somepeople that intelligence and then of course some
people don't want to compete. Yougotta fight for it. And then at
that point, the people that dothat much, when it gets to resilience,
you lose everybody because it's hard forpeople to stay the course. So
if you believe in something, yougotta rock with it all the way.
That's the idea. Yeah, yeah, fact that ladies and gentlemen is why

(31:56):
Devin air Rymes is here. Icall out for myself. Okay, so
really quickly, I know you've you'vebeen, You've performed a couple of times
since you put out the single.Tell us what you've been doing since you
dropped the single? Really developing infrastructurefor a lot of my companies. So
I have a few different companies thatI'm building. I don't just talk about

(32:19):
hustle. I'm a hustler for real. So I have a few brands.
Legacy Brand Clothing is one of mybrands. I have different musical brands that
I'm able to Fortunately, I'm blessedwith the ability to create different styles of
music. So I create these differentmusical brands to spread light to people,
to help people ease stress. Ihave a coloring book brand that you know

(32:39):
where you can color and it's mindfulnessand it reduces stress. And I just
want to make the world a betterplace with the products that I create,
spare positive messages. You know,my definition for myself is a portion of
the collective energy refer to as Godwhose primary purpose is to spare positive messages

(33:00):
and create positive experiences with my wordsand music. So everything that I do
fits into that umbrella. Dope dope. And how have you found, you
know, performing around the Los Angelesarea, because I know you travel a
lot. I know you tour alot with Faith Evans, But for yourself
as an artist, how do youfind, you know, tourn around Los
Angeles area versus when you're actually statethe state is an amazing question. I

(33:24):
knew I could kind of a dopegrass, Okay. So every state has
cadence to it, it has apost to it, and every space has
an energy to it. And youcan feel these different energies. So there's
an energy like in Baltimore, whichis a different energy. I'm just making
up regions that I've been to,but a different region than LA you know.

(33:44):
So when I'm on stage with abig artist, like a you know,
a mega or a legendary artist,like a faith Evans, there's an
energy that that you know, wesay a prayer before the show and sometimes
you talk about being a part ofthese people's are the people that come to
this show being a part of theirstory, being a part of their memories?
These songs? Have you know, been able to sit with them and

(34:07):
live with them and be the soundtrackto their moments and then to bring them
to life on stage, that's justdope. Of course, that's a different
energy than what I do because mysongs haven't lived long enough to necessarily have
that same nostalgia. So I geta different thing from me being on stage,
especially in LA because it's like newand it's something that I'm bringing and
I'm a motivational speaker ideally, andso when I'm on stage, I'm just

(34:30):
talking and then when I fall intoa song, you fall into a song,
and we you know, intensify theemotion to make the feeling stick.
But what's important to me is thatyou walk away with something that you didn't
come with, or you walk awayinspire or motivated or better or with more
information or armored more twos to gomake this world a better place. Because
that's what we got to do foreach other. You feel me, I

(34:51):
feel you, definitely. I feelHow do you wrap it up? It's
like you're looking at the show.Okay, I'm get it in at the
time, you know what. Iwas on my way here and I was
like, you know what, itwas crazy out there in the streets,
you know, getting you outside, got caught up in the police stuff.
But I was like, it's perfect. It's gonna be perfect. It's perfect.

(35:13):
It's whatever it is, it's perfect. I was like, y'all probably
had something that y'all needed to sharethat I was going to be in the
way of before if I would havegot here too soon. So optimism,
come on now. I mean,it's working for you and not against always
come on happening to you, butit's happening for you. You better pass
the offering plate. Well, youknow, we're going to take a little
commercial break, but when we comeback, we're going to dig into your

(35:35):
brain a little bit of your life, your journey, because we wanted that,
you know, we want to talkabout being married with children in the
music industry. I love that conversation. Okay, right after this, it
ain't nothing to turn now. Shegonna stay stomped down to the sunstow.

(36:02):
Whoa, I just got to knowwhen it going and she moved around,
was a diamond in her But nowshe busts down. Whoa. I swear
it ain't nothing better than to turnout. Then it turned out your other house

(36:23):
are spurns. Ya's getting real now, fucking with a stomp down? Who
you want now? Tell me whoyou want now? And since she came
in with her bag and there andmake herself even though she paid me a
little babies drive me crazy. Sheonly twenty one, fucking with a ninety
babies. You excited, baby, you ain't got a lot of baby.
I know you contemplating upgrading your situation. I know you contemplating upgrading your situation,

(36:52):
y'all. I'm so tay baby.Yeah, I turned on and tune
into that frequency bring lovel like andhealing and my j here image difference in
these min melody. Hey, MIdon't know why familiar faces and strange places

(37:20):
say, don't never change? Knowwhy verge into the oula. I'll get
in cuff some my necks, noregrets making hisses, don't read blair.
Yay, I'm getting in cuffs. So next sacond sack gas bad high.

(37:43):

(42:22):
So this is gonna be kind oflike my favorite part of this episode
this show. And I think wecould all I'm pretty sure for facts we
can all all three of us onthis panel can relate to this question and
the journeys that it took us throughduring our career. Oh, your daughter's
Calleen. But the question is beingmarried with children in the music industry really

(42:52):
entertainment industry. But because we're allmusicians and artists here, I want to
kind of focus a little bit aboutthe music industry. Talk to us about,
you know, some of the journeyof being a husband and a father
while in the music industry. No, I would love to talk about it.
One of my favorite subjects. SoI've been blessed. I've been blessed

(43:15):
to have beautiful experiences. I've beenblessed not to have only one marriage,
but two marriages, you know whatI'm saying. Yeah, And and each
each marriage had its own journey andits own contribution to my to my life,
to my growth, to my experiencesas a human, as a man,

(43:37):
as a husban, being in thehusband role of someone else's story and
uh, and you know, andunderstanding the wife the wife role of them
and my story. So all ofthose are experiences. I had two totally
different marriages. So if we're talkingabout how that correlates to the entertainment industry,
I'd probably talk more. Let mesee my So my first marriage,

(43:59):
I mean my you know, Ihad all my children in my first marriage,
and so I did start traveling andeverything in that space, and it
was hard to you know, thecase changes because you don't you miss days,
you miss I might be going formonths at a time or something like
that, and you miss parts. But the trade off is not only being
able to contribute to, you know, the people that are depending on you,

(44:22):
but also them watching you. Somy kids are straight hustlers, like
my kids is hustlers right now,you know what I mean. And a
big part of that came, iknow, from being able to watch me
hustle and even the mom like, you know, not only me, so
I'm not trying to say it wasonly me like that, you know,
all of that. And then inmy second marriage, it was a lot

(44:42):
different than my first marriage because itwasn't as traditional in that sense. So
we traveled the world together, andwe actually did a lot of performances together,
and we did music together, andwe built career together. So that
was a much different experience, andit was really f with the music industry
because we were both music people, and oddly enough, it was that that

(45:07):
was a big part of you know, what we contributed to each other's journey
was those experiences. So even withboth of the women that that were parts
of my story in that way,you know, I have nothing but positive
things to say about them, youknow, and just like yo, like
that was just a wonderful experience, you know. So so in your first

(45:29):
marriage, because I know that, you know, kind of even you were
in that marriage when you even startedin the industry and then even started traveling
in the industry and just musically allthe way around you had you were in
a household full of your children andyour wife. So what was those conversations

(45:51):
like the first time you actually hadto go out of town and had to
be gone for like more than thirtydays, what was those conversations like for
you? Oh? Man, Sonobody was chripping because it was getting the
bag. So it was like itwasn't even you know, it was no
discussion about that part. It's like, yeah, you see these contracts,

(46:14):
like you know what I'm saying thatpart, but now missing you know,
missing like school events or something.I was very very into that. I
really enjoyed that. I looked forwardto, like you know when they passed
out the book fair books and allof that, you know, and being
at back to school nights and stufflike that. I really really esteem that
and enjoyed that. So being awayfrom that, that part, you know,

(46:36):
was difficult. Sometimes I hit youwhen you win the road, you
know, you miss it, youmiss the event, and you're like,
man, but you know you're onehundred percent confident that yo. But I'm
laying I'm laying foundation, like Iknow what I'm doing. I'm building a
pathway you know, and at somepoint, I feel like every song,
every moment, every talk is aflag. It's a flag on the road,

(46:57):
and when you get to that junction, you get to see that flag
and you get to get some information. I get some inspiration at that point
and be like, this is somethingthat I saw or this is something that
you know, I learned, andthen that makes it all worth it.
It's like, yeah, absolutely influential, mild marker. Yeah, exactly,
exactly. That's a great way toput it. That's eloquate. Quite eloquate.
Yeah, but that's it, exactlywhat you mean. Indeed indeed,

(47:22):
And so okay, and so thatwas that was you know, you was
getting the bag and no one wasreally complaining. But you know you have
daughters as well, right, yourone daughter okay, one daughter okay,
so you know, your little girl. And I was saying, daddy,
you're not going to be home fora month, Like how that thirty days?
That first two months? How didthat? You know, how did
that? How did that? Imean, who was going to do her

(47:43):
hair? Like her dad? Youknow what I'm saying. I actually I
would, I would do a horriblejob for their hair. But I mean
of course you missed your children, like especially specifically with my daughter, because
you know, it's something one storyI talk about, like in some of
the songs I do or one ofthe songs I do. But I remember
her now she's you know, nowshe's twenty eight. We just celebrated our

(48:07):
twenty birthday. But I remember whenshe was like in kindergarten and she was
like, I refuse, I'm notgoing to school, so she would not
let go of the fence. AndI'm like, this girl got a strong
will, like you know what I'msaying. But that's one of the things.
You know, you you recognize thesepersonality traits and you pour into them.
I mean when you do the diligencethat it takes before you do that,
you know what I'm saying, Meaninglike before I traveled, I would

(48:30):
go lay on the floor and haveconversations in the bathroom or we you know,
sit down and watch your favorite showor whatever it is. You know,
I'm always giving a speech like youknow what I'm saying, and I
know they'd be like, oh mygod, like that. And now it's
funny because my kids, now eventhough they're grown, we'd be talking and
I start giving the speech, andthey'd be like, Dad, my phone
is on four percent, let mecall you back. I'd be like,

(48:52):
yr Ford is not. As longas I got a little bit in,
you know what I'm saying, Soit never stops. I'm gonna go.
Mafest is kind of the speed roundcoming down to these last few minutes.
But I want to talk about thesereally quick. So in your second marriage,
you actually was married to your businesspartner in music. I thought was
Banana's beautiful, execute it beautifully.Talk to us really quick about just being

(49:16):
your wife's producer and you know, husband writer, you know, and husband
career facilitator and husband and then thefact that you guys traveled together so much
to get the bag together. Justgive take us on a little journey about
that experience. Oh man, gladly, So we were inseparable, I mean
that was that was like man, that was we were best best friends and

(49:38):
business partners and all of that.So it was way more than just you
know, just the actual music. It was like this soul connection. It
was like, you know, andand I see our talk to people that
say, you know, I'm lookingfor a best friend. I know.
This is a speed round I'm gonnago fast ahead, but I'm like,
I got the beautiful opportunity to experiencethat. And you know, I feel
like when you you can't own somethings, you can't own necessarily a connection,

(50:02):
you can't own that, so youparticipate in that. And one thing
that's very interesting about sharing, whetheryou call it love or connection or relationship,
marriage or whatever, is that itrequires agreement. And so in business
you could be like, you cango out here and hustle and make something
happen, but in that it requiresa voluntary agreement from everybody, and so
that brings a different dynamic. Andso I actually, you know, when

(50:25):
that divorce happened, it was devastating, Like you know what I'm saying,
It was devastating. It was youknow, it was definitely it was definitely
very hurtful. But still it itmakes everybody better, It makes everybody grow.
And if that's what had to happen, then you know, you can't
be mad at it. You can't. You gotta embrace the journey in this
whole. You know, you can'tget here in life and be like I
only wone parts of it. Comeon say that again? Whoa wait?

(50:47):
Can we wait? Can you weighin on that before you know your wife
as well as you know your businesspartner. You know, you you you
have to produce her, you know, having that musical ear, you have
to actually her voice has to resonatewith you, within you somewhere, so
you can produce her. You haveto write with her and for her,
and then you have to help facilitateher career. Can you speak to that

(51:09):
as well? With that, youknow, when when the individual gets into
that that position, it's natural. It has to be naturally. It can't
be a chore, you know,it can't be a chore or anything like
that. You know a lot ofpeople you know will do that, you
know, trying to get something outof it. It's it's it's got to

(51:30):
just be you know, natural andyou want to do these things. It's
not a requirement, you know.So with that being said, you know,
I think those are are some ofthe greatest music, the greatest music
come out. But there's no buttto that. You know, it had

(51:52):
what it had in there, whatit is and beyond on the listing and
share. So all of these individuals, they're good, they're good examples of
relationships UH and business relationships, youknow, being exactly what they are.
Good, great, you know souh And it's like you said, you

(52:15):
know, you don't want those thingsto come to it, and people don't.
They don't want these things to cometo the end of the people who
have experienced the end of that relationship. But it's just like you said,
you can't take the good without thebad. You can't take the bad without
the good. You got to takeout you got to experience all. And
then, you know, everything isa choice. You can choose to you
know, move forward and get pastcertain things, or you can choose to

(52:37):
let it defeat you. You knowwhat I'm saying. True story, So
that story yep. Okay, Soreally quickly, I'm gonna see if there
are some chatters on there. Acouple of shout outs to you, Devin

It's just an acronym for pray untilsomething happens, beautiful God. Okay,
yeah, my mama, My mommy mama used to always say that.

She used to say that all thetime. Push boy, prayer to
something happens. That's excellent, that'sbeautiful, excellent, that's beautiful. Creature
preachers pks in here, I forgetka. All right, you guys, but
this has been another episode of twentytwenty Vision, one of my favorite subjects

(59:57):
is music is everything. It issimply the beat of life, which is
everything. Music has no need tobe pushy or aggressive because as soon as
you hear it, it's there. It needs no permission to enter in as
soon as you hear it is there. So it is influencing lives. It
is your very heartbeat. Take itvery serious. Especially when our children are

(01:00:21):
listening. Feed them with something that'sgonna help them evolve, and we can
get that done through music. Again, my name is a Miir the Songstress,
