House Bill forty four seventy four seeksto insert a definition of the term virtual
currency into the state's Uniform Commercial Code, which is a set of laws that
governs businesses transactions in the US.If the proposed of legislation becomes law,

was passed during last Tuesday session ofthe eighty seventh Texas Legislature. It now
travels to the Texas Senate for amendmentsand for voting. Texas Governor Greg Abbott
is expected to sign the proposal legislationinto law after stating that he is a

supporter of the pro bitcoin bill.Apart from Texas, other states are also
moving to accommodate bitcoin use in mainstreamtransactions. Now In March, Miami Mayor
Francis Warez submitted a proposal to allowresidents to pay their taxes in bitcoin and
