Podcast 75:

Spotify is trying to censor Joe Rogan. Well I shouldn’t say Spotify, I should say their editors. So Spotify signs a deal with Joe Rogan, they pay him a certain amount of money, and his whole podcast library is supposed to be available. That hasn’t been the case.

At what point do the employees run the show? Why is it that employees feel like they have this immense power where they say “If you don’t do this we are going to protest”. Why doesn’t Spotify say “If you don’t do your job you can quit, and protest all you want”.

It’s not like there is a shortage of workers out there. Spotify signed a contract with an individual and they are supposed to honor it. Plain and simple.
