performance through strong human relations, team building and Gola TV.
This is the Seven Minute Leadership Podcast with your host
Paul fella Aledo.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Hello everyone, and welcome to the Seven Minute Leadership Podcast.
It's episode four twenty one. Let me ask you something
simple but heavy. What's the one thing you need to
hear today? That question is more than words. It's a
lifeline because, let's be honest, this year, this season, this world,
(00:45):
it's a lot. You've got wars on TV, storms in
the economy, politics that feel more like a circus than leadership,
and may be worst of all, silence from the people
you usually count on for direct and maybe just maybe
you're sitting there right now thinking I don't even know
(01:06):
if I can lead today. I don't feel like myself.
So I'm going to say the one thing you might
need to hear. And I don't care what your title is, leader, follower, CEO, student,
EMT parent, This is for you. You were not alone,
and say it out loud if it helps. You are
(01:28):
not alone. You're not the only one feeling the weight
of the world on your chest. Before your feet hit
the floor in the morning, You're not the only one
trying to show up strong for your team, your family,
your community while barely holding it together yourself. And you're
definitely not the only one wondering if it's supposed to
feel this uncertain, this unstable, this unfair. Here's what I know.
(01:54):
Leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's not about
pretending you're okay you're not. It's about showing up anyway.
It's about being the calm in the chaos, even when
your own world feels like it's shaking. And sometimes it's
about pausing just long enough to ask yourself, what do
(02:14):
I need today? Because before you go inspire your team,
before you run that meeting, answer that call, or push
through the next challenge, you need to refill your own tank.
So if you're overwhelmed, let me give you a second breath.
If you're discouraged, let me lend you some hope. And
(02:36):
if you're just playing tired, let me remind you the
work you're doing matters. The effort you're making is not invisible,
and the fact that you care enough to keep showing
up even on the hard days that makes you a
leader worth following. You don't have to fix the world today.
(02:57):
You don't have to have the next time ten steps
mapped out. You just need to take the next right step.
And sometimes that step is as small as this. I've
got this and I'm not giving up. So say it
with me, say it for yourself. I've got this and
I'm not giving up. So if your confidence is cracked today,
(03:22):
borrow mine. If your courage is low, take some of mine.
And if you don't feel seen or heard, trust me,
someone is watching how you lead through this storm and
they're learning from you. You may never hear them say it,
but you're making more of an impact than you think.
So here's the one thing I want you to hear today,
loud and clear. You're doing better than you think, you're
(03:46):
stronger than you feel, and you're exactly the kind of
leader the world needs right now. This has been the
seven Minute Leadership Podcast, and I thank you for listening.
