La música criolla y afroperuana, es lo que escucharas en este espacio, esta expresión cultural es representada de gran forma por distintos artistas que marcaron historia con sus composiciones y arreglos musicales, los mismos que hacen que este arte perdure de generación en generación. Originada por la mezcla de cultura y música de colonizadores españoles, la gente indígena nativa del Perú y los esclavos africanos, la música criolla peruana engloba distintos tipos de género musical como el vals peruano, la marinera, el huayno, el tondero y el festejo. El legado de la música criolla peruana es único e irrepetible y es por esto que queremos promover canciones afroperuanas de antaño y contemporáneas, nuestro objetivo es que esta expresión cultural y folclórica no sea olvida o reemplazada por otros géneros. Lo más tradicional de la música peruana lleva consigo alegría, jarana, goce y sentimiento del más puro. Es importante no perder nunca esta tradición que nuestros ancestros nos heredaron e impulsemos con orgullo sus hermosas melodías.
