En este nuevo capítulo de A tu Ritmo hablamos de la primera edición de las 6 Horas de Hortaleza, una carrera que se celebra en el madrileño Parque de Valdebebas el día 7 de marzo. Nos acompaña su organizador, José Manuel Martín, y Pablo Villalobos, que va a participar en la prueba en la modalidad individual. La carrera también se puede hacer por equipos. Pablo, además, nos habla desde su faceta de entrenador, sobre cómo se deben preparar estas pruebas y quién puede dar el paso del maratón a la ultradistancia. De ello también sabe mucho Paco Rico, ultracorredor desde hace décadas y miembro de la junta directiva de la International Association of Ultrarunning. Nos cuenta las actividades que están realizando ahora desde la asociación y los organizadores españoles de este tipo de carreras. Además nos anuncia que el martes 2 de marzo se abren las inscripciones de la carrera y marcha Ecocamiño, por el Camino de Santiago en Galicia, que se celebra en noviembre. Y para acabar, nos ponemos los clavos y nos lanzamos a correr un cross. Nos acompaña Miguel Calvo, con el que hacemos balance del Campeonato de España de Campo a Través de este pasado domingo y un amplio repaso a lo que supone este tipo de pruebas en la tradición del atletismo en nuestro país, remontándonos a los tiempos de Mariano Haro.
