Dedicamos la primera parte del nuevo capítulo de A tu Ritmo a hablar de la reciente declaración del Deporte y la Actividad Física como Actividad Esencial por parte del Congreso de los Diputados. Pero, ¿qué significa esta Proposición No de Ley? ¿Tiene alguna trascendencia? ¿Lo notaremos los deportistas populares? Hablamos de ello con el diputado del Grupo Popular en el Congreso Javier Merino (que presentó la propuesta parlamentaria) y con Vicente Gambau, presidente de Consejo Colef, uno de los organismos impulsores de esta iniciativa. Además, hablamos con María Jesús Núñez de la importancia de que los corredores populares nos hagamos pruebas de esfuerzo y analíticas aunque estemos en un momento en el que no estamos preparando carreras importantes como una maratón. Y por último, charlamos con el corredor popular Manuel Maciá, que ha pasado la Covid-19 y nos cuenta cómo le ha afectado como deportista y la forma en la que está regresando a la actividad física.
