Speaker 1 (01:20):
Magic in their own place. So we got we got
a lot to go over. We got a lot to
go over.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Butts get into the pole question because listen, that's the
most important thing at hand, and it's a.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
J's Brown's limited role in the offense is a.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Bigger concern for the Eagles than the current lack of
QB pressure from the defensive line. Agree or disagree, let
us know, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, that's what we're live everywhere.
You get your podcasts for there as well, get to like, subscribe,
follow up. Most importantly, join the conversation. I'll be honest

(01:53):
with I don't think either one is this big concern.
And you might be like, oh, kol Ay Tommy, I
mean right, but.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
It's not that.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
What it is is a football team that's won twenty
one games. Now, they've won twenty one games in a
row together, when they've all played the game, when they've
all been in the game together, those four guys think
about it, that's absurd, that's absurd.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
So at a certain point, I don't. I'm not concerned.
What I'm more concerned.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
About when it comes to it, would decide, oh, yeah,
I'm working some at AJ because AJ can start right
and getting all upset. So that would be my concern
more than the offensive concern, because they're gonna figure that out.
They're four and out, like they went to Tampa, a
place that they have not played well. And when you
did the schedule in whenever it came out in the springtime,

(02:49):
everybody guarantee, oh, Tampa, there's an Now, there's an How
in August we were doing our preseason ones, everybody everybody,
oh no, and then as soon as this week came, everybody.
Last week I think I was thirty one twenty four,
just saying first time ever, got that right, I think?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
But was it?

Speaker 4 (03:06):
No?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I wasn't thirty one twenty four because there was a safety.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
It was six points.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah, a lot of different so I wasn't right again,
But either way, the fact that matters. They're they're four
and out and his places they haven't played well, and
everybody called it a loss because of those reasons. Right,
we got lucky with know Mike Evans this week obviously,
and That's why I thought it would be a win
for the Eagles is because Mike Evans is that impactful

(03:32):
for them. But that's where they're concerned for a j
with the Eagles. But I'm not concerned about anything with
the pill up Eagles.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Right.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Nolan Smith will get healthy, right, Darius Thomas had some
good pressures today, so I thought defensively they were they
were better at pressures. But I got no concern over
this defense. This defense was was in the Florida. They
were on the beach. They were on the beach playing
football in one hundred and one today, Okay, the entire
second half, the tire second half of a football game,

(04:01):
and they made big plays. They made the big plays
like they might have get the ball driven on him,
they might have given up big plays, but they also
made the big plays again and the key moments.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
That's what defines a great football team. That's all they are.
But we can be picky because that's what we're gonna do, rightfully.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
So, and I'm picky too, But I'm more concerned about
Aj being just Aj than I am.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Of this defense. Even a little bit. The defense, I
might even concerned a little bit.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Cooper is Sean's the best tackling cornerback international football. And
I've seen not so I watched enough football. That guy
tackles everything, one on one, tackles, He doesn't mess. It's amazing,
doesn't mess, doesn't mess. It's like a video game sweep's.
It's like me in the video game short tackle one
on one in the overfield.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, I got you. You know, you might get a
catch on me, but you're not. You're not going anywhere.
Nice to have you. There's my rant. So I don't
have it. I don't have an agree or disagree. I
guess I disagree with all of it.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Yeah, ringos the opposite of the best tackler. But uh yeah,
I know what you're saying. I mean, it's hard to
win football games in this league. So I mean again,
we sit here every Sunday. We sit here every Sunday,
and it's like, I mean, they might have won nineteen

(05:19):
of twenty. I'm not sure the last time they lost,
you know, So it's you become yeah exactly. I mean
I understand, you know, you become spoiled, you know, as
a fan base. You know. So it doesn't mean that
you can't sit here and talk about things. I mean,
that's that's the beauty of it, and that's why we're here.
That's why you can sit on your couch. That's why

(05:39):
you can you know, you know, driving a car, talk
to your friends about it, and talk to your wife
about it. Hey, let's talk about it. That's why we're here,
you know what I mean. So there's nothing wrong with that, right,
But at the end of the day, it might not
be pretty, right, but when one unit that's why they're
a great football team because if one unit and doing it,

(06:00):
then another unit doing it. So now you've got two
weeks in a row where a special team has been
out of their mind, right, I mean talking about a
ten Uh you know, a tone center you block a
punt and and and and and scoop and score. Uh,
you know right there on the road. I mean there's
there's now you said a tone right there, all right,
and then then you build a big lead offensively. You

(06:21):
know you looked, you know, you did enough in the
first half. You know, whether it was there was some
different looks obviously, you know, it's it's still the short
passing game. You know, they don't stretch the field, so
I don't you know, in no, lane, I get that,
but you.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Know, they don't stretch the field enough for me for
my likings.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
But again, they still moved the football and and and
then you know when they got inside the ten, inside
to five, they got cute, they got a little gadgety
and and it worked, you know.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
So uh again, I.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Mean, how could you you know, how could you how
could you fault that?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
So?

Speaker 4 (06:53):
But yeah, I think I would say that. You know,
I'm not worried about anything, you know, uh, defensively, all right,
but I would say Jay Brown being sort of I
think that's going to be an issue, right because everybody
tells you they want to win every and and I'm
i Saintan, all right, everybody tells you, and it's you know,

(07:13):
I want to win. Right. Let you catch two balls
for seven yard for seventeen straight weeks and you're in
Jalen's face and you're Nick's office.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
I'm just gonna take you that right now, right, you
can fuck it.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
You can tell me you won't be but yeah, I'll
fucking no chance that you're just holding hands and singing
the Lion King song ain't gonna happen, right, WI receivers
or divas and that's it, right.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
And he's a bad man, all right, and he's hard
to tackle. And I know he wants the football, of
course everybody does, right, So when you're losing, it's easier
to complain and say give me the football because I
can help us win, right, But when you're winning, you
know that you know that's obviously that's a tough meeting
to have, right, But you still, I so I would
be concerned about just you know, keeping him happy. You gotta,

(08:01):
you gotta. That's a guy that you know you need
to keep happy.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Well, he was giving up on routes today, to be
honest with you, and Jason and Van said, Tam.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Plan then then then that's when the disentsers comes, you
know what I mean, where it's.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
Like, you know, I know what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah, but I'm just saying you want to block. No,
we don't.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
We don't get him involved early in football games. And
that's what you want with star players. They need to
involved early, right, So if you don't get him involved early,
it starts to faster, Okay, And that's our our point
that we're saying, like, it starts the faster and if
that continues over week after week. Now, luckily last week
they got him involved, right, they got him involved in
the second half, and he had a big second half. Okay,

(08:43):
so you think you're coming to the end of that.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
But they couldn't get him involved early. Well, you know,
they tried.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
To with two with two for seven or one for
whatever it was, for four or five yards at whatever
quarter that was in the first half.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
But they're there's something.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
They're trying to run the football too much, in my opinion,
on first down, that's the biggest fault. They're running the
football and run on on situations where everybody thinks we're
gonna run the football. You got everybody out there know
what I mean by that, Like everybody out there goes, oh, yeah,
they're gonna run it here. You guys on your couch
are saying, yeah, Eagles are gonna run it here, and

(09:23):
they run it. That's the problem. That's the problem. We
have sakuon Barkley. But in this league and in this
situation right here where we're not we're not we're not
run blocking at the web we did last year. You
got to throw us out to run and when you've
got two studs out there now you can get away
with Davonte. Davonte's will, we'll sit around and just win win, win,

(09:47):
win win, right. AJ is the one who won't. Okay,
So nobody where I worry about Devonte not getting the
ball or Dallas. Those guys just want to win, and
so does AJ. But as a J wants the football,
and I know, get him the football. This happens before,
this happens. This happens with teams.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Yeah, but you know, just like you said, if you
get him involved early, then it just opens everything up, right,
and then you're you know what I mean, Like I said, Yeah,
the Vikings lost today.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
I'm not bringing up once.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
I'm just saying, right, but they I mean, Jefferson had
like six catches like the first quarter, you know what
I mean. Like, you gotta like it doesn't matter who
you're playing against, right, that guy, that guy's cover. That
guy's a tough cover man. A frown is a tough
cover man. So you know, like we all know that.
So there's ways to get him the football without forcing

(10:39):
it all, you know. I mean, I know somebody alluded
to that earlier and we got eyes. I mean, yeah,
there's nobody, I don't anybody nobody here at least.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
Us two are.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
We're not we're not saying that you got it. You
gotta get him the football, whatever way you can't, you
gotta give them the football, right And you know, and uh,
like I said, that opens up, especially when you don't
know no more Beck toed and Lane Lane Johnson's hurt.
So I understand this isn't the line of old right.
There's still a tremendous you know, offensive line, but they're

(11:09):
not the line of old right. So it's gonna take
a little time. It's gonna take some time for guys
to you know, to start falling into place. And and
you know, we know their record without Lane, you know,
even though they want and they're four and oh right now,
I'm just saying overall, they're a different football team without
Lane Johnson. So you know, you know that's you know,
everybody knows that you have to be an idiot.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
Yeah, so absolutely so.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
You just keep checking checking boxes, you know, you go
down there's a road wind a place of pretty much
a house of horrors, you know, and and here we
are nitpicking again, And I guess that's what you can
do when you're in the penthouse, all right, man, When
when you're in the basement and somebody throws you some crumbs,
you're just very grateful, right, But when you're in the penthouse,
you want caviar, you know.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
So I I understand it.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
I understand it, you know, being spoiled, right, But this
is it's a good football team, all right, and maybe
the best team, uh in football. So you know, right
now they are you know, I mean there's you know,
obviously one you know, Bills or the other button unbeaten team.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
And uh so then there were two started the day
with six.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Now there's two and right now you know, so it's
it's gonna be you know, and like you said, you know, defensively,
I think there's some freakish things. Obviously they took advantage
of getting Bucky in a wheel route.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
You know, he's so athletic. That's a mismatch, you know.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
And it was a good ball, you know, Baker, you know,
progressive Baker put.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
It right on him.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
So that's you know, but the other one's a miracle.
The other one's a miracle, so there's no skill involved there.
He threw that up for grabs. He got through two guys,
and and you say to yourself, sometimes better be lucky
than good, you know. So that's how it's all. Really
you chalked that up to so.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
You know you're you're moving on.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
You move on. You it takes you took Tampa's best shot,
so I you know, you build a lead. You took
Tampa's best shot. And like you said, you made a play,
you know what I mean, you made a huge pick.
You know, your forced Baker into another mistake inside the
red zone and and he throws a critical pick there,
you know.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Year and the defense just makes it makes plays.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
You know, they they ben don't break all right, but
they just find a way to turn the football over.
So you know, whether you know Bucky's name was down
or not, it doesn't matter. That's what's called on the field.
And it's clearly was well we looked at it, that's
I mean, it was I think if they said his
shin was down, then they went overruled that either, you know,

(13:43):
just one of those things right, But you know they
capitalized right after, right after the turnover, they took it down.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Well, you know what's funny about the whole thing is
like they went they went to two places.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Just there are two different guys saying that's all. You know,
you're you know, I'm not you know, I mean you're
you're not, You're not. Everybody wants to everybody wants to contribute.
Everybody wants to be great in their own way. Right,
there are two different players. I think you know that,
Sam all right, So uh yeah, And he said he
goes about a different way. So you weren't you weren't

(14:15):
You weren't saying otherwise. I was just saying, yeah, they're.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Just he won't. But no, this is funny because like
last year, same thing, Like this defense made plays right.
They might not always looked great at times, but they
made plays in big spots. And you can go back
to the Jacksonville game last year at home when the
Kobe Dean had that pick lay in the game to

(14:37):
walk it off essentially right, similar to what John Campbell
had so similar plays down in the red zone. Right
and and somebody makes a play right and and that's
what you and that's what you need, that's what that's
what great teams do. And they're just so used to winning, right,
Like they're so used to winning that when you when

(14:59):
you're mo it is like that as an athlete and
the team and you expect to make a play like
talks up into existing type ship like it happens, like
it starts to happen. It's like like Luke Brown said
it on a two D and not me. So I
don't take credit for this, but they are. They are
modern day chiefs Patriots, like right now in this moment,

(15:24):
like there is find ways to win, right, and great
teams find ways to win.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
It's different ways.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
But guess what the quarterback right, we say whatever you
want about it, it doesn't turn the goddamn football over.
In a league where if you win a turnover battle,
you're gonna probably win, he doesn't turn the football over.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
He should have to pick today. I don't know how.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
You know, maybe two, But at the end of the day,
it's not in the book, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
So it's it's the same thing you say in every sport.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
So you're I mean, just another day you want to say,
is that it should have been a pick, but it was.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
It's so he has nine touchdowns, zero interceptions combined, like
if you want to count rushing and passing, So we've
nine hit, nine touchdowns, zero turnovers.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Or no one. No, he has one.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
He has one forced fumble against the Rams right and
they recover that.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Yeah, so the turnover bat well today they obviously they
won the turnover battle, which we know.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
I'll give him the one fumble against the right he
got kipt.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Sacks were even, penalties pretty much even, time and possession,
pretty pretty even, even though it felt like the Eagles
were on defense for sixty hours, you know, for sixty hours.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
At least in the second half, I felt like we
didn't leave the field defensively.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Yeah, right, so.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
It felt but you know, it wind up being pretty
much thirty one twenty eight. It was close, you know,
closer than you even think by the naked eye. You know,
I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
But they got to I mean, this thing they're going
to figure out, right.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
They got to get the run game going, and they
got to get the passing game going, and they have
to find ways back to the boat and they have
to find ways to get this pass rush scout.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
And I think that's what.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
They're what they're what they're missing right now because Jaalen Carter,
Jalen Carter hasn't been great getting into the quarterback.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
He's zero is zero sacks.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Now, it doesn't mean he's not putting pressure doesn't mean
any of that, but he's not.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
It's not so up in the stat sheet now.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
I feel like they got more pressure today as a
group than they have in the past, so I think
they're getting there. But there there would be the thing
they need to get better at, not even concerns like
offense needs to get more rhythm right early in football
games or throughout consistency. I don't care about consistency in football,
because we've talked about this last year too.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
I remember these shows.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
We can go back and rewind the film, all right,
I don't care about the consistent care about wins. But
you know, finally it's it's how it looks right now
to the public would be like, oh, they're winning ugly, right,
and that's okay. But that's why I can see a
little bit more cleanly oness, a little bit more rhythm offensively. Defense,
We you know, mix in a couple of sacks a game,

(18:04):
but I think they had five all year to four games.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
At the end of the day, there's no you know,
that's that's a term that's used, like winning ugly, but
there's really there really shouldn't be no such thing. At
the end of the day at the end of the
it's a w man, It's it's it's a W. So
you know you win last week. You know obviously.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
I was.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
I wasn't on last week, but you know it's been
it's been a couple of weeks. I apologize, but you know,
you win last week. I mean, come on, man, Like
it's tough to not only the defending champs, it's this
is a tough kill shot is a it's a kill shot, man,
like you got you gotta you're gonna you know, they
you know, rams will tell you they shot a ton

(18:47):
of bullets, but you know they never they didn't.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
They didn't you know, they didn't hit. They didn't hit.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
You know, they wounded them, they didn't hit. You know
what I mean. So this is a tough team to
put away, man. You know, and like I said, you
don't was last week. Doesn't matter if you're at home
or not. Like they're gonna eventually, you know, get you know,
the bodies are gonna get warmed down. They're gonna have
a clunker, of course, you know what I mean. Like
there's many times when it's the NFL. We all know that,
you know what I mean. So they're gonna go on

(19:13):
the road and and and and be a favorite and
and go through the motions and and and somebody's gonna,
you know, smack them on the nose with the newspaper. Right,
that's what's gonna happen. You saw today with the Chargers.
Are the Giants better? No, we know how the NFL is.
I could tell you all week that that was gonna happen. Yea,
even before the Giants, even before, yeah, exactly before.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
It was the starter.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
I could tell you that was gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Oh yeah, not that, but I had money as soon
as I had Dart it was the starter on them
because that was the gut because I think he's a
good quarterback. But in typical Giants fashion, they lose. You know,
they get excited because they finally get their quarterback. We'll
go back to Eagles in one second, but you know,
they finally have the quarterback and then boom, the star
wide receiver is down. So you know, as much as

(20:01):
they're in a division and we and we hate them,
I still feel bad for you guys out there because
that's not you know what I mean. I'm not wishing
your your players to get hurt. I just wish you
miss picks all the time and continue to struggle. That's
what I meant.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
But I think this team, the team's loaded. We know
they're loaded.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
So to me, it's it's it's what's what's the problem
and you move on to Denver and not an ideal
team to move on from to. I should say defensively,
because they're good defensively, especially good at the cornerback position.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
And you're trying to throw the ball better.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
But the running game is what's what's weird to me,
Like it's like teams, teams know it's coming. So for me,
what I would do to what I would do again
is I'll get into an RPO format all the time sweeps.
I would I would either bellie pull and go Bellie pooll,
go make ice freeze a little bit.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Maybe you can create some space.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Because you're going understand her isn't creating it and they're
trying to create some space in the wrong.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Is Jacobs? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (21:06):
Yeah, you know where else is down? Profession that must run,
It must run like that run must.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Run down the streets.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Vomited. You know, I kept a professional.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
I trade him in fantasy. So I mean it's a
double dipper.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Oh yeah, the boss, you can do whatever you want.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Professional drive here, need a drive.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Double deeper here? Uh but yeah, you know, Denver.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
But when you win, when you got guys, when you
win a place in the Kansas City in Tampa Bay,
it's huge because nobody had us four and out.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
So that's what we're saying.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
Everybody out there complaining or anybody out there has any
issues with it, right, nobody with that schedule.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Come on, let's be real. Nobody with that schedule with
four and out.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I did because you know, you guys know me, right,
But nobody else had four. No, there wasn't another guy
on the planet. And he's right, that had four. Now,
so it's just cold how it is. You might have
ad three and one, you might have two and two,
you get all to a slow start, Okay, nobody had four.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
So you had four and oh and you I mean,
where where'd you find a loss? Then you had to
have them seventeen to oh.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
That I had lost in one of the Giants games,
I had a loss.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
And because how close those games are, because they playing
like they playing within a three three weeks like game
other game game.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
I think it is so that's where I was, like, oh, that's.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
A loss I had, I had, I had three, I
had three else I had three else.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Three or four. That's where I was at. I had
thirteen wins. That's right where I was.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
I think it was twelve and five twelve I got,
but I definitely had a possible two and two here
for sure, you know what I mean, can't see that.
I'm really scary, even though he looked delicious today. Uh
in desperate mode, you.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Know, yeah, I get the back. You get him a
wap in. That's huge, right, you get it? I mean
because my homes is still a panp. He just needs weapons.
He is you know, he is me, Me and you
were our ages running around there. But listen, this is
this is really that's truly. Yeah, like I just had

(23:27):
nobody had it. That's the point.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
You either had a fast start or slow start. If
you had a fast start, you probably had three and
one and get a little bit of slower to and two.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
But again, they're fucking pouring out, So we're gonna sit
here and complain about about how it looks. I don't
know when you when you when the schedule is done,
like last year, last year, we won the Super Bowl.
Were you're thinking after the game or when you were
going into the Super Bowl too, were you thinking about
the like, oh man, remember I get that we to win.

(24:01):
Remember that Week one win in Brazil? I wasn't clean. Yeah,
I wasn't clean. You remember that? Like, no, how did
you get your record? Like nobody remembers how you get
your record? Your record is what it is. Yeah, thirteen wins,
twelve wins.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
Yeah, at the end of the day, you find a way. So,
I mean, you know, again, winning ugly is is a term,
but really it's just an oxymoron because you just told
me in the same sentence, a right that you want
what are we talking about? What? What are we talking about?
All right, at the end of the day, you know,

(24:39):
you win games, right, That's what these guys you know,
that's what you know. That's what pro guys are getting
paid for. That's what you know college guys are getting
paid for. You know, we talked about you know in
U sports. You know then we're you know, we're talking
about development or or you know, how we doing things
you know a certain way, you know, but you know

(25:01):
when you're when you guys, when these guys are getting paid,
these guys getting paid to win again. I already said
that to that today Pranks seventeen. I'm gonna put the
champagne away this year.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Boys, could you imagine that'd be cool? That'd be cool.
The organization known.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
That that was known for never having a super Bowl
ends up getting to and ends up go undefeated then
and then ends up winning another super Bowl. That would
be like, Okay, I put that to bed. That's the
bad night, night night, no longer, no longer, no longer
part of those organizations. Reddick Targer was about to start. Yeah,

(25:49):
we'll talk about that at the end too. We'll give
a quick quick preview on what what what we might
say because we don't know who we're gonna see that
that's hard to even talk about. Besides, this is the
damn the baseball team, and let's go it's now or never.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Uh yeah, I think I might have us losing to
Detroit too, coin, but you never know.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Like I said about schedules, you don't know about goddamn
schedules either, because you don't know who's gonna be healthy.
So it's just how many wins do you think the
team's gonna have? But this team this team is the
best team in football. They're the best team in football.
Nobody's beating the Chiefs as much as they have, Like,
nobody there, Nobody out there could beat the Chiefs. Have

(26:32):
the Chiefs losing to them twice in three games, twice
in three games.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Nobody's doing that to the Chiefs. Nobody's nobody's doing that
in the AFC. We know, we know the Ravens are frauds.
So who's out there, who's out there?

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Bill's like we said, Bills, and there's others some teams
that are good. But I said before the season, sit
back and enjoy it. If they're healthy, you're gonna sit
here and they're gonna enjoy a little dynasty, right yeah, I.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
Mean yeah, you still well yeah exactly. I mean they've
been they've been good.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
For a long time, so I guess, you know, like
I said, people get people get spoiled, all right, So
might not be championships. But from from the Andy, from
the Andy years, you know, they were they were winning
twelve games a year, all right, and then you know
at the end when they won four games, it was
you know, it's it was time and he and the
game has passed by it was time for him to go.
And then as we see what he's done ever since,

(27:31):
all right, So yeah, he got his quarterback, but he
moved up to do it, you know, the guy I
deserved it. So anyway, that's just that's that's for another discussion.
But year in a year out, the Eagles are a
very good football team. So you could be, like you said,
it could be in the middle of a dynasty. Right,
He's gonna win multiple ones for that to be, you know,

(27:54):
for that to happen. So you know, the script is
still you know, still has to be and there's still
a lot of football left and like you said, staying
healthy is the number one thing, uh, you know, and
then you know, January is a whole other animal. But
you know, you get to January by taking care of
business in September, October, November, and December, all right. So

(28:19):
that's set that sets up for you know, a good
January run, which is what you're looking for. So we'll see.
But yeah, right now, they're they're in Tier one and
there's teams, other good football teams that are in Tier two,
all right, but they're alone in Tier one, all right.
So and that's no disrespect to the Bills and who
were undefeated. They're just you know, it's you know, Eagles

(28:44):
are super Bowl champs, depending champs, and they belong in
Tier one. So all right, nobody else is dominating on
all facets, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
Like again, Bills are finding a way. But you know
they they showed the Yeah, they showed.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
A little struggles at home the last two weeks. You know,
still won football game. Is exactly what we just discussed
that the Eagles are don't so I don't I don't
pedalize them. I'm just saying now, struggles against the defense
and the Saints.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
You know, it's hard to win in this league.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
Yeah, that's the old point.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
It's not easy to win.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
And and people, you know, people want want like these
perfect types of wins.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
I get it. But you'll get those throughout the season, right,
you'll get.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Those clean games here and there, but not everything's going
to be pretty. You know how to finish a game, right,
You're know how to finish a game, and they know
how to. But this isn't just offense or defense that
wins you a super Bowl. Now, I told people this,
this is the defense because of these corners, all right,
and this front, the interior of this front, and the linebackers.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
All right, not as much as the edge guys, but the.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Linebackers where you win at right, where you win at
they're there. They're tackles, their linebackers and their and their
corners and their nickel guy and koop.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Right.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
That's the reason this is like gonna be a dynasty
because of the defense. This defense is gonna be awesome
and they're gonna make plays. And here we are and
here we are because that's that's why we're four and
oh and we're fourd oh because the Jalones legs because
every time you need a first down in big spots,
he gets your first down. Usually usually not today in

(30:26):
the second half, but were out the first four games.
He as right, he asked, And that's a separator bar.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
And just to answer, if you want to pop, Chris
is up a whole number sent and know what you're
talking about, Chris, But that that year, I think you know,
if you watch the show, that's fine. You know, you
know if you're a new guy and we welcome you.
If you listen back then, I think you would have
you know, you would have known at least from our
aspect that we were talking about then not being a

(30:56):
good football team, I mean, not not a great footballer,
excuse me, all right, but they were fine in a
way to win games and then and that's what and
we were discussing how hard it is to win in
this thing.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
But I don't think.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
That year before the collapse that anybody in here was like, man,
they're pretty good, you know what I mean, Like, they're
really good. And we were, you know, we were just like, hey, man,
well can we say they're finding they're finding ways, you
know what I mean? So I understand what you're saying.
This football team is not built like that.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
They're also coming off a Super Bowl trophy of Ambarti,
So they're different. They're exactually different because of that. Now
they now they they got to the top of the mountain.
They know what it takes. So I think it's a
different vibe when you come in and you have your
leaders that that just want it.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
I got you, I got you.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
But that year, like I said, I totally know, yeah,
I totally know what he's saying. I just felt like
they were in our opinion all right, and will take
that for whatever it's worth. I thought they were a
soft you know, ten and one, whatever it was, what.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Was defy stunk?

Speaker 4 (32:05):
Remember I thought it was a soft ten and one
that year.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Listen, you know why Chris.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
Were waiting for the shoot and drop.

Speaker 4 (32:11):
That's what I thought.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
Anyways, this is why it's as simple as this, and
I don't want to overreact to but it's simply as
why it's not twenty twenty three because you don't have
two different defensive coordinators. You have Vic Pangeo who wasn't
going anywhere. So that's why it's automatically different.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
That's what.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
That's what where this team got different. This team got
different when they actually got went and got a real
defensive coordinator.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
That's when they got different.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
And then and they have young players and have young
players on the defense side of the ball, the youngest
defense in the National Football League, the youngest defense in
National Footballer.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
So and an old coordinator, an old grizzly coordinator.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
What you think school with a bunch of young pops
just having their choice put to listen, right, And he's
getting the most out of guys that are just going
to listen. And I think it's awesome. I think it's awesome.
And we're reaping the awards that out of its fans.
Because this is where it is. You need a fumble
against Alice John Campbell, punch guy, you need fumble. You

(33:13):
need to pick that pick rookie.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Jaha Campbell goes to how he picks again? Right again?
Uh big today.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
I mean listen, at the end of the day, I think.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Just to not put a button on it, but just
you know, just to wrap it up from you know,
Chris's standpoint, Like, like I said, fair assessment and totally
totally understandable where you're coming from, you know what I mean.
I just think these are totally totally two different football teams.
And you know, I just don't. I wouldn't. I would
never see that happening with I don't think there's a

(33:45):
snowball chance in hell that would happen to this football
team would happen. Then you know, it doesn't mean that
they're not gonna stub their toe and and and there's
some there's some warts. Yeah, of course, every I think
every team has has warts. Since how you overcome those
warts and and and the toughness and the resilience really

(34:06):
resiliency excuse me, in the locker room and the leadership.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
It's just.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
You know, I just I think have.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
It with your quarterback. They have we have it with
our quarterback. Uh Cott moo. I disagree with this.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
Uh this is not Brian Johnson all over again, because
that offense never looked good ever. Right, the offense never
looked good ever with Brian Johnson. This offense has had
moments throughout the four games where they looked really good,
and then they've had moments where they looked terrible.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
So they didn't even have the pop moments.

Speaker 3 (34:38):
So give it time with him a play call, right,
Let's give it time when him was a play caller
a little bit.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
He needs to learn how to adjust on the fly better.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
That's my biggest ripe with Kevin Patulo from what I
can tell.

Speaker 5 (34:52):
Well, I mean, and I think you so, I think
I thought you.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
Saw a little glimpse today. So you know, of course
I know it was the first I figure touchdown flag,
damn it. You know, I thought you saw obviously saw
a glimpse in the first half. So you know, I
think everybody knows that if it's that easy all the time,
you got to give credit to the other team. Tampa's
you know exactly it might have looked. I'm not saying

(35:17):
that they're the second the offense looked. You know, it
wasn't different in the in the second half. I'm not
debating that, but sometimes you got to give credit to
the other team, right to have a baby, puts their
pants on, just like you know, just like the Eagles, right,
and they made some adjustments, and that defense looked like
they kind of answered the bell in the second half.
Whether it was you know, pedestrian or not, look like

(35:38):
that that defense stepped up in the second half. And
I thought, at least in that first half, you saw
some creativity that should make you excited if you're an
Eagles fan from an offensive standpoint, because now everybody, you know,
everybody hates the touch push you just you just absolutely
got Saquon on the outside. So that's not just gonna

(36:00):
work from the from the eight yard line. If if
that that that might open up from the fifty and
the sixty, right, because now that's gonna now what now what?
Now they got another thing. Now they got something else
to think about. That was that was unbelievable, you know
what I mean, the other couple for years just in
different in different things. But you know, like a little

(36:21):
a little shovel to you know, two little shovels to Dallas.
All right, But I thought that the toush push, the
fake toush push to the sacom was was unbelievable. That's
that's another layer to the to the onion. That that's
the old ship button. That's the you know, here we
go again. Now we gotta deal with this. I mean,
come on, you.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Already can't stop this. Now we got to deal with this.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
You know what's funny is the difference between winning and losing. Right,
game of inches, Eagles are four and o obviously Washington
Washington two and two.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Now points scored, Eagles have one.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Hundred and eight Washington's one hundred and seven points against
the Eagles have eighty eight, Washington has ninety one. To
my point is that winners win, Winners know how to win.
So you're talking about the same numbers, right, almost identical numbers.
And one's four and zho one soon and too? Well,

(37:18):
why is that? Why is that?

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Big? Big turnovers, big spots? When do you score that point? Right?
When do you when do you make that stop? I
don't know that's where I go.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
But yeah, Bill, I mean he was creative today in
the first half. I thought Ken Batool called a good
game plan in the first half today, it was creative
with some gadget things, right, But that's what the NFL
is now. Everybody's got some some things up their sleep.
So I thought he did. I thought our play ho
home was good early. You know, Jalen was great with
his legs early on two which when he's going when

(37:56):
his legs were even more dangerous, were awesome in the
red zone. But then second half came and we just right,
we just couldn't figure it out. And I think a
lot of stars when when Matt Pryor came in a
game of guard, we sill got loud and then obviously.

Speaker 4 (38:17):
Listen, this is I mean obviously you know this is
Todd Bowles. Is you know, Todd Bowles gives them trouble,
you know, a lot, So you know it was you know,
you got to give him exactly he's he's gonna find
the weakness, all right, that's what he does, you know
what I mean. So's he's a really good defensive code,

(38:39):
you know, so sometimes you gotta give guys credit. That's
that's you know, that's why I look at things like,
doesn't mean that there was that the second half offense
wasn't in net right. You know, I'm sure that they
played a part in that. But I also tend to
tip my cap to to Tampa Bay. And you know,

(38:59):
they're big boys, and they got some pride. They're playing
at home, and the pride jeans sunk in and you know,
and then you know, they brought some blitzes and they
brought some blitzes and they got in his face, and
you know, they forced them to get rid of the
football and you know, throw things away, and you know,
and you know, when you're trying to have a good

(39:19):
passing game, what is it? It's rhythm and timing. I
just a lot of you know, all right, And when
you disrupt that, you're gonna you know, you're lucky you
don't see turnovers. So back to our point earlier about
you know, guy takes care of the football, all right.
So you know, you see guys around the league when
they get pressured and and and the sky's falling, they ship,

(39:42):
they ship in their sock and they turn them all over.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Yeah, and you know, I mean, listen, Bill, I don't
know what the I don't know what the fuck that means, Like,
was there between one and four?

Speaker 1 (39:51):
And four? Now? I mean I don't know.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Again, turnovers and key spots, right, you get off the
field on third.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Down in key spots? Yeah? Are you just good? Are
you well coached? And there's a lot of factors to
go into it. I don't know good.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Nobody's saying it's it's just Todd Bowles, you know, and
nobody's saying he can't have a good plaints there're four
and oh that's it. That's it. Yes, last week the
first half was was god awful, all right, So it
is what it is.

Speaker 5 (40:24):
It's an adjustment leak.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
So they were down twenty six to seven or whatever
and they had to throw the football. So they had
they had, they had to throw the football, so.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
Swoop and swoop. I just want to tell you something sweet.
It seems like you're just honting, you know what I mean,
And I just want you to sit back and be happy.
You know you're worried about you're worried about everything.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Well, that's what I was, you know, that's what you mean.
I mean, that's what we were trying to read. That's
what we were just trying to tell everybody, you know,
talking them off the semi ledge. You know what I mean.
This is a tremendous football team, is a tremendous organization.
Be happy. There's other guys around, other guys, there's other
guys suffering, like myself.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Let them know what you're going through. It matters. It
matters because you're you're listening. You're an out you're an outsider.
Put an insider.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
Does that make sense to the public, Like he's an outsider,
but he's an insider because because he's here with us,
But as as a as a fence fan. Okay, they
they thought they had it, they thought they had their
pieces right, and and they and they didn't.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
And when that happens, it's where do we go from here?
You could we could be there.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
So when an outsider is telling you how good of
a football team we have, regardless of how it looks,
that's it matter to us because like I don't remember
how the Bills won today, even though I had red.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
Zone all blah blah blah blah. Right, I remember how
they won. They won? Right?

Speaker 3 (41:55):
They want a big interception, right, big interception in a
big spot like that that.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
That seems weird in the New Orleans Saints. The Saints
gave them a battle. Today.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
They're home and we're gonna and we're gonna sit here
and accolade. It matters how you look, doesn't matter how
you look. It's who's the healthiest team or the closest,
the healthiest down the stretch of the best that the
best teams laugh, that's who it is, and what quarterbacks
are the best? Right now, Say whatever you want to say.
The winning is quarterback right now over the last twenty

(42:29):
twenty one games is Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
It's Jone Hurts.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
And I'm not thinking it's all Jalen Hurts, but quarterbacks
get all the credit their quote. So right it's Jalen Hurts.
Nobody's won more than him over the last twenty one games.
And that's not grounded him. I'm just the numbers are
the numbers.

Speaker 7 (42:48):
If he's a quarterback in Philip Eagles, he's got twenty
one straight with when he's finished the game, when he's
finished the game, and he was winning when he left
the game Washington, so it could be twenty two if
we want to f I'm not gonna do.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:01):
So when you're exactly when you you're when you exactly
because he gets enough, he gets he gets enough hate
from the out outside of this area, right, So in
this area, I'm not saying anybody here, I'm just saying
I'm not I mean, I'm gonna saying that correctly. No,
nobody's you know, typing, you know, hnder you know, we
have concerns in here about the coordinator and the offense

(43:23):
in general. I get it, right, but he's still the
leader of that offense. Right, So if you have problems
with you, and you have problems with the.

Speaker 5 (43:30):
Offense, then you're you know, then you then you.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
Have problem with then you got a problem with number one,
all right, So but you shouldn't do that as a
four to oz team and and and as fans of
the of this organization, because like I said, he gets
it enough from the outside, right. The outside noise is, uh,
it's one yard touchdowns, it's touch bush, it's five yard outs,

(43:53):
you know, one hundred twenty yards, all this stuff. He's
surrounded by all this talent. That's what you get from
all the all the haters. Right. It takes a special
guy to you know, the win, to not only continue
to win, to you know, silence critics and shut people
up and and play through that.

Speaker 5 (44:09):
You know, and you know, so give the credit, man,
give the guy credit.

Speaker 4 (44:14):
Absolutely everybody in this thing does everybody, All these guys,
like I said, pressure.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Pressure, and winning is not one like, that's not a
limitation and winning, winning, I feel like, is what he
does and sometimes that resonates throughout everybody.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
Like we talked about guys, follow who gets paid the most?
Two he catches? Are you kidding me? Oh? You know whatever, Guys,
guys follow the leader.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
Imagine ten straight penstrate one loss and tentistraight again and
people fitching.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
Only Philly fans.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
Yeah, listen, this is again, sweet st This this is
a world run organization. It's a it's a damn good
coaching staff. I mean Nick Sirianni Sirian's arguably right now
the best coach in Eagles history. If this continues for
another like year or two, I mean maybe even right now,

(45:13):
he's probably surpassed.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
You know what Andy did and what Doug did. You know?

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Right now, I mean I feel like he has youth's
longevity was better. Right right now, what he's gotten to,
it's gotten the two Super Bowls in three years like that.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
I mean, that's it, Bill.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
It's not twenty and one because Jale didn't finish that game,
and so I'm trying to say to you it's actually
twenty one.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
Now, it's twenty one in one.

Speaker 3 (45:42):
If you want to count that game, which we can
count it, that's fine, twenty one to one until all
the point needs to be made. Nobody's won more games
than he has. What is the first thing you think
of when you think about Jalen Hurts?

Speaker 4 (45:56):
Winner?

Speaker 5 (45:57):
Winner, easier to easy, easiest description.

Speaker 4 (46:02):
I mean you mean, I mean, I don't remember not
you know, I mean obviously.

Speaker 5 (46:12):
The winner.

Speaker 4 (46:12):
If you know, if you couldn't say winner, then you
say tough lead you all pretty good, pretty good stuff,
you know what I mean? Both stuff right there?

Speaker 3 (46:26):
So determined, NICKI says, determined. Determined to win. NICKI about
that too, like you had that on He's determined to
win selfless, cares about his winning selfless right, It doesn't
matter about his numbers. He's not a numbers guy. Uh,
and he makes like the winning plays. It's so weird
to describe. It's I've talked about it on shows. It's

(46:47):
it's it's hard to it's hard to explain. It's hard
to explain, but some guys just just freaking win. Tom Brady.
Tom Brady threw parts of that of his runs. Their
offenses weren't great, they didn't look great, but they won.

(47:08):
They figured out ways to win the drives when they
needed it. Everybody remembers it, that's not actly. We didn't
remember it like. It wasn't all glitz and glamor.

Speaker 4 (47:17):
It wasn't all I mean, yeah, the back of the
you know, the back of the football card doesn't tell
the whole story. No, I mean, how many how many
people in here? We'll just talk about the people in
the chat or anybody who's listening that doesn't want to
type anything, you know, anybody that's watched We love it.
Time to subscribe button, let's go like and subscribe. But anyway,

(47:37):
let's just talk about if you want to look at
the back of the football card. You know, how many
people in here we want to switch Jalen Hurts and
Lamar Jackson. The answer should be zero zero. Lamar Jackson
never won a big game in his life his life
and in his life never never so, But I mean
back in the back of the football card, looks look sexist.

(48:00):
There's some lagerie. There's some laserie on the back.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
Of that football card.

Speaker 4 (48:04):
All right, there's some edible panties on the back of
that football card, right m vps uh you know all
kinds of goodies right there. He ain't winning, ain't winning,
Come on, man, I mean it is what it is. Man. So,
like I said, doesn't mean that you know, you can't

(48:24):
you can't want to get better.

Speaker 5 (48:25):
Everybody wants to get better.

Speaker 4 (48:27):
It's week five. Week five is coming up, right, So
they'll show up on on on on Tuesday or Wednesday.
You know, they'll watch film and then and then they'll
get back at it, you know, just like every other
UH team in the in the lake. So all you
can do is try to get better, right if you
if you get complacent when you're on top of the mountain.
They're on top of the mountain.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
They've been on top of the.

Speaker 4 (48:46):
Mountain for uh a year and a half now, right,
So if you're if you just if you get complacent
up there, and then you're gonna fall off, right, So
you know that's you still gotta work when you when
work get up there, man.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
So yep, and you know the quarterbacks not, and I
think that's the big piece of it. And we'll continue
to go on not win every week because it's National
Football League, right we talked about you'll stop, they'll stub
their toes, don't have those, and people will react to
them and they'll get better off it, they'll grow off it.
Question and Bill, I'll answer this well, he said to

(49:21):
me as he said that this would never happen. But
somebody asked me today if you trade AJ for t
Higgins and a first, and Hon said, I didn't know
if I would you know, Oh, yes, yes, And at
first you give me Higgins enter first probably maybe hell
old Taggings. I don't know how old tickets. I don't
want to overreact to that. Yeah, hell old take it.

(49:44):
Is he the same age as AJ? Is AJ twenty
seven and they probably they might be, they might be
around the same age. But the first is enticing, right,
like as you're trying to you know, you got guys
coming up on big deals.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
You're gonna lose guys. Oh yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
And the first how do you not? I mean, he's
a number one wide out. You put him next to Devonte.
That's that's a good time too. It's a good time too,
and I think he gives it to you. And AJ's
twenty eight, so yeah, I mean I love Aj. Right,
So it's not something I I'm sprinting to do. But

(50:23):
the first is why I do it alone? Like I'm
not doing it straight up? But first, no question about it.
I did not do that. Now we're four and oh
we've won twenty one straight games all together. And then
we're talking about this. This is Sarah, but goodypothetical, good hypothetical.

Speaker 1 (50:41):
Cop ball take on.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Greg doesn't agree with ma Higgins is the number one,
but AJ has a stupid that cap ad. Yeah we're not.
Yeah either way, football team's awesome.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
Next week's next week's the Broncos.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
Uh, and they're good, They're okay, right, I mean, what
do they play?

Speaker 4 (51:05):
They have a bye week this week.

Speaker 5 (51:08):
That's a great time.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
That's a great time for us.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
We get a team traveling in awful Monday night or
are they home.

Speaker 5 (51:16):
Tomorrow night the Broncos.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
Okay, well that makes a little bit better for them,
but still short week. Short week's always nice for the
team that's home. And then the Eagles. This is a
good part of the Eagles schedule here in terms of
travel because they're home against Denver and then you're talking
about you're not getting on a flight to New York obviously,

(51:39):
so that's a bus ride through New York a lot
easier on the body, and then fly to Minnesota Vikings
and then back home against the Giants.

Speaker 1 (51:50):
So you get a little bit I know you don't.

Speaker 3 (51:52):
They don't get back to back home games, but they
get a little bit of breather there and they have
the same type.

Speaker 1 (51:58):
Of thing later on their schedule with the Commanders.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
Right, we're two out of three weeks they play them,
So I guess that's the way of trying to give
them back to back like travel non travel home games
since you're just talking about non flights, right.

Speaker 4 (52:16):
I'm just this show is over two weeks in a row.

Speaker 1 (52:21):
Yeah, that's absurd, that's weird. They're staying Yes.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Yeah, I mean you're coming back, Like why would you
come back?

Speaker 4 (52:31):
It's enjoyed find practice, talk tell you the soccer ball.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
I like that, the practice.

Speaker 4 (52:44):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
I like that, I do like me sometimes last absolutely
great show.

Speaker 3 (52:53):
But you know, so that's I guess their way because
they don't have back to back home games, right, so
you stay off of you stay off the they off
a plane because you're you're Washington at home, No, at Washington.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
Wait, back to back away games, but not back to
back home games.

Speaker 4 (53:14):
Yeah, I remember the back to back home games and then.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
Back to back home games. They have two back to
back away games.

Speaker 4 (53:20):
Shook out, I don't know, and too back to back.
I don't know if Temple's playing some games, you know,
Temple might be in there sometimes that's why.

Speaker 3 (53:27):
Well, no, because they got away in New York after Denver,
away in Minnesota.

Speaker 5 (53:33):
I'm just saying the way shook out.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
Yeah, but then they got two away.

Speaker 3 (53:36):
They got away at Washington after home against Vegas, away
at Washington, away at Buffalo, so two different times they
had two away games.

Speaker 4 (53:45):
Giants in Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Yeah, and then they got at the back end too
with commanders and bills.

Speaker 1 (53:52):
Wow. Wow, that's a dirt.

Speaker 3 (53:56):
That's that's there were people dirty, that's are doing you
know what I mean, assuming the big fel is dirty,
but not far like travel they only got he did
do him a favor. There only one, only one, only
one West coast travel in there just chargers. That's not

(54:18):
too bad, not too bad. But yeah, I mean schedule matter.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Ring can.

Speaker 3 (54:28):
I thought Ringo tackled well, a couple of big hits
to that. I mean maybe I missed them. He probably
missed a couple of.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
Attack or two.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
That's where everybody but but I thought a couple of tackles.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
He was laid the he laid the hammer. Look at
the linebacker.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
You can't miss them all Jesus.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
I thought he's better than the door. He wasn't getting
abused against good wide receivers. So and I like that.

Speaker 3 (54:52):
I like that they sent Q with with him all day.
I like that they that's that's that the show was
something new and if you got a corner like that.
And Brady's not wrong. He is a little too handsy.
He needs to get better with his feet there. But
he's always he's always around the guy, like I feel

(55:13):
like he's never getting cooked. He's always in there to
be able to make a play even when guys catch
it on. But yeah, he is handsy and he gets
away with ship. But guess what I mean, you got
to get away with some ship.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
It's like.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
Just showed up today on replace that's all. Yeah, I
know they don't have.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
Any back to backs.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
I just think it's crazy they have two back to
back A ways mixed in with no back to back home.
It's hard to do. Don I can't believe they didn't
keep Isaiah Rodgers. We didn't keep Isaiah Rodgers. But it
is what it is. But I would love for Howie Roseman.
See now, I don't know because I didn't think Kelly

(55:57):
played band tonight, but I would of it go like
a Denzel Ward route or too easy, too easy, go
get a pass, Go get a pass rusher, right, go
get another pass rusher.

Speaker 1 (56:12):
So I would either go a Denzel Ward route.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
Or I would trade some picks because they have a
ton of them, right sweeps.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
They got a ship to them.

Speaker 3 (56:18):
Trade some picks and try to go get yourself another
veteran pass.

Speaker 4 (56:23):
Rusher and see if Dak can earn his cash.

Speaker 1 (56:25):
Yeah, here we go overhead for me, gid yop.

Speaker 4 (56:30):
Yeah, if you're not going to earn your cash.

Speaker 1 (56:34):
Dobbs and his helmet again. Yeah, Yeah, it was hot.

Speaker 4 (56:43):
Greg.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
That's a great win tonight. It's a great win for
the put off the Eagles today.

Speaker 1 (56:48):
Great win.

Speaker 3 (56:52):
And slave was grabby too, John says, Yeah, I mean
good corners are.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
Wide. Receivers are grabby too. By the way.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
I don't know if people know that. So everybody's grappy
and who gets away with it? When I watched I
watched a j push off for a touchdown and I
watched about the Adam push off for a touchdown, all.

Speaker 1 (57:12):
In the same game. Nikki.

Speaker 3 (57:17):
I think anything where you're looking at another player after
you make a good play on.

Speaker 4 (57:22):
That, yeah, you know what I mean. You can see
somebody every anywhere, any direction your turn.

Speaker 5 (57:28):
So it's a little it's a little, a little absurd.

Speaker 4 (57:30):
But that's that's what the explanation we got from last
week or one game I was watching. You can't can't
look at a guy, so you can you can crawl
on the ground, just look look away, look away to
see here.

Speaker 3 (57:44):
You crowl fifty yards, you grow fifty yards, get up
through a celebration.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
All right, you don't look at anybody. Yeah, amazing ship,
It's amazing ship because baty air guitar.

Speaker 3 (57:56):
I mean that was I got a four year old
at home that watch Cooper make that tackle and get
the tom penalty and he was offended, you know what
I mean, Like he was offended that he has to
watch that on a Sunday.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
So yeah, same for what it is.

Speaker 3 (58:11):
But I mean it's hard to ask guys that are
all repped up and a competitive sport that did not
like have those moments.

Speaker 1 (58:22):
Like That's where I think it's stupid.

Speaker 3 (58:24):
You know, like the players just have like have fun
and play the game like it's supposed to be played.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
I don't want you stand over a guy for ten seconds.

Speaker 3 (58:32):
But if you if you walk over a guy and
you say a little something, okay, isn't that what it's
about in football? Maybe I'm maybe I'm the old guy
that just is you know, outdated? Is he out I'm
the guy on the Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
The forty three year Old'm the forty three year old.
I'll get off my lawn.

Speaker 5 (58:54):
Absolutely.

Speaker 8 (58:55):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (58:56):
Don he understands it, But do you think pinker me.
I guess he's right because he thinks the way it
needs to start. So he does understand football, but he
but and he's right, but he's wrong. But he thinks
he needs to start always on the ground, so like
we can't start by just having to catch he as
a star on the ground.

Speaker 1 (59:14):
And we have to run to pick it up and
then he and then he can start it.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
So I guess he does take the fact that it
starts on the ground as a snap in the way.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
Yeah, I mean he's getting it. He likes it, he
likes it. We'll watch.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
We'll see what he thinks about hockey and basketball. I
mean they stink, but we'll see what what he thinks
about those ones. But he likes the other two. Yeah,
it's a great duo, Ryan, and then the Kobe. Dean's
gonna be coming back.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
And that's what I was texting, texting the boys. Is
the fattest air guitar I've ever seen in my life.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
Yeah, A he really was.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Uh. And that's a good football team. That's a good
defense over there too. So, like we said, people get
paid on another side.

Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
Four Eagles.

Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
So Phil's are either gonna get Dodgers or Reds. I mean,
I think it's pretty easy who you would rather have.
But we'll say, this is why you're playing games the
time of year. Reds are hot going in a little
bit here. We're not even hot. I mean messes, but

(01:00:37):
they did enough to get in and they got they
got lucky, but good luck with the Dodgers. And Dodgers
are gonna be coming here, so they're gonna get Christopher
Sanchez game one. We'll see what we'll see who that
answer is. Now, what the pills are gonna do is
on Wednesday night they're having they're having like a live,
a live scrimmage and they're ltting fans in. So they're

(01:01:01):
gonna do a little live uh and now scrimmage and
that fans in all throughout the the bottom rows, so
the bottom sections, so it should be should help it
give you some live give you some fan excitement. Uh
that guys like pick teams and you know, get ready

(01:01:22):
ready to get ready to go.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
Yes, wow, I mean we just need a cover job.
But oh my goodness, yeah, much time.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
For pardon me.

Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Wants Jerry to feel right after this game, you know
what I mean, just for the sake of like I
might even I hate the Cowboys, but just because everybody
thinks he's so.

Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Wrong and they went and they beat him. I knew
this was gonna happen. And they don't have.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
CD and they're gonna go get a field goal. They're
going to go get a field goal.

Speaker 5 (01:01:49):
To I mean, this was this was the easiest.

Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
I don't want to say nothing easy. I'm only I'm
only telling you that, yeah, go ahead, was gonna happened
because the Raiders probably cost me eighteen hundred dollars. That's
what tonight would have been an absolute monster, two separate
parlays eighteen the Raider. Yeah, with the Raiders and Cowboys left,

(01:02:17):
Raiders were winning, obviously you saw how that ended, and
then it would have came down to Cowboys plus seven.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Always shit.

Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
As soon as that happened, I was like, give me
the Cowboys straight because I know it's coming, and there
it is.

Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
It's so bad for baseball, right, he's the only three
hundred header. Like, that's so bad for baseball. You know,
pictures are starting a million miles an hour.

Speaker 4 (01:02:43):
I thought somebody was chasing him for the for the lead.
Did that person fall under.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Niki?

Speaker 3 (01:02:50):
I don't know what gave it away that he came
in with a with a hockey mindset, you know what
I mean? Where your profile back. I don't know what
gave it away. I'm looking forward to some flyers hockey
m GM.

Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
So you're that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Yeah, I didn't think that, and I thought the over
under wash was was low in this game too, But
either way, I just think it's funny that you know
Jerry's wrong. The Packers were the greatest defense ever assembled.
Now through three weeks, they go to Dallas. Dallas don't

(01:03:33):
have their best receiver in CD Lamb. George Pickens had
two tds.

Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
Great Packer.

Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Here's the defense looks like Swiss cheese right now. I
don't know whose defense looks worse in the second half
of this game.

Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
National League.

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
I guess, well it was in the American Is there
three hundred?

Speaker 4 (01:03:55):
Yeah, there's a ton of guys is there?

Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
Okay, I'm back.

Speaker 4 (01:04:00):
John Bobashett, Jacob Wilson turn over three oh four, Yandi
dis three hundred. So I don't want to say a ton,
but seven guys. Yeah, yeah, but American League guys. So
maybe that's what he was alluding to. Nico Herner was
chasing him for the National League title, and he finished
two ninety seven, so that vaunted Cardinals staff probably stified

(01:04:24):
him this weekend. Freddy Freeman two ninety five, So yeah,
a bunch of American League guys. Yeah, okay, Twomos with
Gregy Waffles was talking about, Yeah, National League, here.

Speaker 1 (01:04:48):
We go thirty it's so bad.

Speaker 4 (01:04:52):
He just took the lead and it's like real first b.

Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
I didn't see it yeah, obviously, which is crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
That's great saying I'm qualifying here.

Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Oh wow, are you guys kidding me?

Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
The Reds?

Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
I got you, I got you. I don't know what
he was talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
So when did the fields open on Saturday? Yes?

Speaker 5 (01:05:18):
October fourth, to be determined.

Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Timeline, like a little Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:05:28):
And then a day off, which makes no sense.

Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
Here we go again because the football.

Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
Uh there's two other games out day but not then.

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
Okay, yeah, oh Eagles are home. That's why.

Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
That's why. Good Jobsky's horse. Yeah, good job with this.
Good job with that one. Assuming the Dodgers coming down.
I think it's a I think it's a what's this series?

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
This series? Seven? Right?

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
It's just the first one's five? The first one three,
first one three, and this it's five?

Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
Right? Or this is this seven? I always forget what
they do.

Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
It should be seven, but it might be right, right.

Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
I feel like I don't even know.

Speaker 5 (01:06:18):
Where the three came from. That's the stupid.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
Yeah, thanks thanks for stopping in first series.

Speaker 5 (01:06:24):
Yeah, Christmas? Can we I mean when we talk about
I get it.

Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
You don't even go home. They all three games are
in l A. Isn't that funny? Like all three games
or anyone will.

Speaker 1 (01:06:33):
Be five games? Right, So it's five games. Yep. I
thought it was crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:06:38):
Oh no, I wasn't accusing you of anything, right, I
was just somebody gave you somebody gave me some bad information.
But I did circle back and yeah and try to
help you out. He's the only nationally guy, so you

(01:06:59):
were kind of right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
So go that.

Speaker 4 (01:07:02):
Go with that, buddy, go with that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
No red type of shot gon because they got a
good manager.

Speaker 3 (01:07:08):
And uh, you know it's baseball, so it is.

Speaker 4 (01:07:11):
It's three five seven seven, jeez, three five?

Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
So who will be do they? Do they need a
third I guess you need. You do need a third starter.
Who's it going to be? See Sanchaz, Ranger and Hill.
I mean I think it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
Would be Noah. But are they going to go or
they going to somebody else?

Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
No, you gotta go. I think they got his last
start was was very promising, and uh that's you can
ask for. And Ranger got drilled yesterday, so I mean,
I'm sure he's gonna be all right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
In the week.

Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
But yeah, he came out good dakh.

Speaker 4 (01:07:53):
That was the extra point.

Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
But no, I think it's Listen, they're they're a better
overall team pitching wise.

Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
In the Dodgers.

Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
Monday Saturday, Monday like.

Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
Monday, Wednesday, a lot of breaks.

Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
Let's go, let's go.

Speaker 4 (01:08:13):
Wednesday, Thursday, back to back Wednesday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Saturday would be a game five October eleven. Mm going

(01:08:33):
after who m hm, trouble in in niner Land.

Speaker 5 (01:08:42):
Is that what you're saying about?

Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
Yeah, I didn't see that. I heard it. I heard it.
What did Liam Cohen do to him?

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
I think Lilliam cones a little fiery, but he's got
Jacksonville playing well, so.

Speaker 1 (01:08:56):
He's doing something right to start the season.

Speaker 4 (01:08:59):
Yeah, twelve seconds are at the forty.

Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
Yeah, running a draw kick.

Speaker 4 (01:09:13):
They're gonna kick his fifty two yorder. He called the
time out, so now you're out a draw. Let's see.
So he's gotta run one more play.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
Would and uh, they're off. Has been pretty good overall Jacksonville,
the rankings.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
Stop it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
He didn't say that. Sign Steel, He's he's going Michigan
on him. Tell Robert to worry about never being a
head coach again. That's what I would have said. That's it.
That's any conversation.

Speaker 5 (01:09:45):
That's a.

Speaker 4 (01:09:45):
That's an easy conversation ender as he as he says
to me, you're still in signs I go, don't ever
be you never be a head coach again. Robert.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Thanks wow wow, thanks, thanks, Nikki.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
Hey appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Years explain. So when's everything start?

Speaker 4 (01:10:06):
Tomorrow?

Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
Tuesday, Tuesday?

Speaker 4 (01:10:09):
On Tuesday, brother, he went for the down.

Speaker 5 (01:10:15):
Tuesday, I'll give you tuesdays.

Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
I'll give you.

Speaker 4 (01:10:17):
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday schedule, my friend, and for the
and for the view and for our listeners. Oh sorry, smooth,
I didn't know you were I got you, buddy, shut
it down.

Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
You know, greatest, the greatest.

Speaker 5 (01:10:37):
I paid the same amount of money.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
There's the guy.

Speaker 5 (01:10:41):
But I but I appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
It looks like I'm looking, you know, right into the
camera here because it's from the corner here and the
new adjustment here at a two d ah. Sorry, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
got the schedule for you kicking things off on Tuesday.
Tigers in thee. I will never say guardians, So I apologize.

(01:11:05):
Cancel me now, Tiger. So for don Don one O eight,
start to take off work don Don, and you're leaking
oil big time. So we'll see if you can pick
it back to have Scooby though. Yeah, oh yeah, overtime
last thing I want. Didn't give that away, swoop. That's uh.

(01:11:26):
I think it was good. From the book Depository. Yeah, Lee,
Harvey Oswald just absolutely hit him in the head.

Speaker 1 (01:11:40):
Jesus three eight.

Speaker 4 (01:11:44):
Yeah, now we're done. Three o eight.

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Cubs at three go back to the first yeares. Go
back to the first yeares with Detroit Cleveland. Yes one
Cleveland's that series. Sorry, don Cleveland's series going.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
I do like the Indians, uh, padres clubs three eight
day game at Wrigley just giving you the schedule. You
don't have to pick a winner.

Speaker 1 (01:12:09):
No, I like it. I give you.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Eight in the Bronx in the in the boogie down
six oh eight start socks.

Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
Yeah, yeah, give me.

Speaker 4 (01:12:25):
Dodgers nine o eight.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Win that series.

Speaker 4 (01:12:28):
And then they just they run it back all three
days so nobody, nobody gets a sniff. So there's that
are going to be dealing with with the Shadows for
three straight days. So it's the same schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Speaker 3 (01:12:41):
But a bing, but a boom not hot on the
planet like the Indians are hottes seem on the planet.
How do I not pick them? You don't have to unsubscribed.
Detroit is a really good baseball team. I like the
Troy I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
Scooby gets to go to out of five. Oh no,
two out of three? Oh no, no, no, ship it's
only three Oh my god, jeezuz.

Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
Yeah, game one.

Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
But they can beat them, dude, Donny, they can beat them, absolutely,
So don' don't make it seem like I'm telling you
is a layupline here.

Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
It's not.

Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
I just gave quick, I gave quick, not thinking deep predictions. Right,
That's all I did was you'll be back, Yeah, I don't.
Don't you ever say that again. Don't you ever ever
type that out again. You should be nervous. I'm nervous,
don I'm nervous too, baby. But you're playing with more
house money than I have. Think about it, Donny, your

(01:13:36):
house money land, and nobody expected you guys be this
good right now, So enjoy it and go try to
beat donest team in baseball, that's all. And they just
get it done. The guys gambling, and there's guys are gambling,
and there's fine ways, there's fine ways to win games.

Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
So but I'm excited. For it Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
It was very scary. But you know, you see if see,
if see, if the Tigers can, you can pick it
back up, tom I mean they were, they were awesome
all year and they just went south, crazy fifteen game lead,
they blew to lose the division, right, Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
They do.

Speaker 4 (01:14:28):
I'm like, I'm like, the months they still got in.
So's you. Good luck to you, don Don And you
know I said, we pulled for you, buddy. I don't
have any any dog in that fight. I do, I thought.
I think obviously Steve had always an unbelievable job. Yeah,

(01:14:50):
so credit to him because for all the same reasons
that Tommy just alluded to, you know what I mean,
Like they were they got rid of some guys at
the trade deadline there. Uh, you know, they've got guys
that are betting on guys that are betting in the
locker room and I mean ry.

Speaker 5 (01:15:08):
So you know, So I'll tell you what.

Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
I'll tell you why those is the.

Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
Most quiet superstar in all baseball.

Speaker 4 (01:15:16):
I mean, obviously, you know, baseball guys, we know who
he is, but you know, outsiders don't. You don't know
who's a mirrors go watch him? I mean that guy
um talking about a winner, and that guy, that guy
he just he just finds a way man. So but
we'll see. I mean it's gonna be uh Scooby Scuoby
will be locked in, so well, uh, it'll be an

(01:15:39):
interesting three games. But I do like how the Indians
are playing. They just they they've been doing it with mirrors,
you know, and.

Speaker 5 (01:15:48):
And Calebs has been absolute.

Speaker 4 (01:15:51):
Some of the back ends we'll see, We'll see.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
Yeah, No, I mean I think all these series should
be good because even the team, even the team is
traveling now going to places. I mean you coulde I
can see upsets on all of them. So I mean
it should be some good opening around. Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
Playoff October, playoff Baseball getting me up. I love it.
I love it and I can't believe for four weeks
out in the season.

Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
And if you had to, if I had to tell you, guys,
like we judge teams obviously all the first four weeks
and well, I'll sort of leave it here before we
can get in the crumbs.

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Is you know how wod I judge The Eagles a little.

Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
Inconsistent at times, but they find ways to win games again,
make the big plays. They are exactly who I thought
they were, best team, best team in the NFL right now,
So leave out there, but time for crumbs once you
got anything else sweeps.

Speaker 4 (01:16:52):
No, just I think you know still ahead of question.
I mean, I don't know how he doesn't. I mean it,
Rowley was the we we all have cows in this story,
and you got to sixty homers and as a picture,
so you know, you hope that you know, uh, and
the fact that we don't like the Yankees, you know, listen,

(01:17:14):
I hope, I hope get it. But I mean my
judges got every other category. I mean yeah, I think
it's like fourteen to three in the categories, you know,
So the.

Speaker 1 (01:17:24):
Dude's been like three but still three dropped.

Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
But either way, three thirty one like guy's forty eight.
Sorry the other guy was bet in two forty eight
one in check. So not taking a shot at that
like that, right there is a basic like.

Speaker 4 (01:17:41):
Five homers behind. It's not like Street thirty one to
twenty homers. He's not a punch of judy.

Speaker 1 (01:17:47):
You know, so I you know it's a judge.

Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
I'll be rooting for Cow because I think it's a
great story and I like him and.

Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
Not a bad guy.

Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
Dame was swar in the now, but it's not going
to happen. Yeah, you know what I mean, Swarves in
the end now, but it's not going to happen.

Speaker 3 (01:18:04):
He would have to take He would at least have
to break Howard's UH record for Phillies in my opinion,
to be for voters to like really push it makes
sense like if he would have got fifty nine and
broke different.

Speaker 4 (01:18:21):
The Dodgers just didn't you know, didn't make the playoffs
or something. Yeah, but you know what I'm saying, like,
you know, it's it wasn't that lopsided. I mean people
want to you know, say up, he's.

Speaker 5 (01:18:36):
You know, he is who he is something special.

Speaker 4 (01:18:39):
But you know, to say that Kyle didn't have a
magical year and was it didn't carry this team for
long stretches the time, it's crazy to me, you know
what I mean, Like that's so that's how I look
at things, you know what I mean. But you know,
the Dodge Yer Bay off team and you know, so
that's that's it's not going to go to Schwarber. But
you know, again, you you root for Forber and cal

(01:19:02):
and it will probably judge and and toany you know,
category wise and all that all that stuff. But you know,
playoff times here, and it's uh, it's what we waited
for hundred and six too long, long season about up
and downs, but.

Speaker 5 (01:19:20):
It's a grind. But we you know, playoff baseball.

Speaker 4 (01:19:23):
So that's all about so exciting exciting times. And we'll uh,
we'll see where where where the upsets you know, come from.
You know, like I said, some evenly some evenly mass teams,
especially early on. Uh you know, like you said, I
I think, you know, they lack some stars as the Yankees,

(01:19:45):
but no Garret Cole and you know, you know, you
know Crochet he uh you know, he's tough. So we
will we'll see, we'll see. And I do like the
projects as well. I mean I think, you know, cause
it was his home. If they don't have that, the
number one guy, I guess boy's been there guy. I

(01:20:07):
think Padris got a little more weapons in their backhandies
pretty good. You know, you got Miller and jas on
the back handy, pretty nasty. So yeah, that's what I think.
Don dam was looking to give.

Speaker 5 (01:20:22):
It away the swoop Man. They didn't want to ruin
swoops night.

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
Yeah, I appreciate you both in there first in Bowl
walk off for the Star No, I mean, okay, a
couple of things about Joe. No, I didn't believe there
were seventy five. But when we started in the preseason
show and we give a prediction for all season, and
I obviously had him over ninety. And but I said,

(01:20:48):
you know what, they're gonna win it all. They're going
to go to a World Series. And I didn't win
it all and I said yeah, and Pop both asked
me why, and I said, well, I believe this year,
on like other years, that Dombrowski doesn't have it, he's
going to go try to get it, Okay. And they
judge this year of not having a closer, right, that
didn't work out Romero, So what did they go do?

(01:21:09):
They went and got a closer Okay, They needed another outfielder, okay,
didn't have to be a star.

Speaker 1 (01:21:15):
Bayer ended up being an air quote star for us
and the.

Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
Short period of time. Okay, but it made us better defensively.
So sometimes the small move is a big move. But
the Ran d Ran was was the move like we knew.
We knew going into it they were going to make
the big movies. Now, is that going to guaranteem the
world series? No, you're gonna get the Dodgers coming in,
and that's that's that's not going to be. It's not

(01:21:40):
easy or fun per se. So that was the number
one priority.

Speaker 4 (01:21:45):
This was, you know, prior to the prior to Wheels
going down, which was absolutely devastating, but the number one
priority before that was a closer all right. So the
best guy out there, all right, the Spanish fighter, you know,
and not just you know, not for not just for
his entrance music. And they got the guys elect you
guys got on god based So that was the first

(01:22:08):
poss check. And then everybody wanted to kill that outfielder
all this stuff, and and Vader wasn't you know, the
sexy choice probably by most you know, casuals because people
upset with that, you know what I mean. But really
that's what it is, you know what I mean. But
the guy is tough man. He bodies the city, you
know what I mean. So you know, we already talked
about it before, like how many moves do you think

(01:22:30):
you have? They got a bunch of three hundred million
dollar guys, They got a bunch of big ticket guys
in this lineup, right, So those guys have to be
the forefront of it. And then you get the complimentary
pieces that necessarily aren't gonna you know, when you you know,
carry you to a World Series, but help you win
a world series. Always. Always, That's all we were alluding to, right,

(01:22:54):
And and that's it.

Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
Man, So so Joe in the fact that the Jeff Jenkins,
the fact it doesn't always have to be the big one,
but you have to be able to listen.

Speaker 1 (01:23:06):
You have to be able to.

Speaker 3 (01:23:09):
Identify it and go be able to pull the trigger
like we all would have rather had Kwan because I
think he's awesome, but I think get in the center
fielder and roally solidifying the position.

Speaker 1 (01:23:19):
Of need for us I think helps us out just
the same.

Speaker 4 (01:23:24):
And again and he probably just doesn't fit in that clubhouse,
all right. And now at the time, we weren't saying that,
and I'm not so I'm not trying to be like
a Monday morning quarterback. I'm just saying, you know what
I mean, Like I he just bade her and just
embodies that locker room in the city, all right. And
you know, as a Cardinals guy, I see the firsthand,

(01:23:44):
you know what I mean, Like I love the guy
for a long time. That was like clamoring for him
and the trigger that I know what I mean, yeah
what it says they were. I mean i'd have to say,
come on stop, you know what I mean, Like, you know,
but once they did it, it was like, okay, it's
a you know, it was that to move the the
sexy moved that everybody wanted to know.

Speaker 5 (01:24:02):
But the guy is gonna play hard every day, and you.

Speaker 4 (01:24:05):
Know he's gonna he's gonna go one thousand miles an hour,
and I mean he's gonna you know, he's gonna hit
a ball dead line, he's gonna turn a single on
the up.

Speaker 5 (01:24:12):
He's gonna play. You know, he's a plus defender.

Speaker 3 (01:24:16):
He's got a good center field from what we've had.

Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
You know, he's got great reads and he just he
just fished. I mean, he just he's a durt ball.
He's a dirt and you.

Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
Need those guys. He's always been in these types of games,
like his whole career.

Speaker 1 (01:24:32):
Right.

Speaker 3 (01:24:32):
I think that's the one thing you say good about
him when you when we got them into that line,
that the one thing I said is like He's always
been in these moments.

Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
So when guys have played more of these games, I
think it just helps you. It helps you relaxes you.

Speaker 3 (01:24:44):
These guys, it feels more like a regular baseball game
for him, which is what you want. You don't want
these guys, like you know, to overjuice for it, because
then you don't put You're not you right, So you're
gonna be what you are throughout the year. Yeah, I
mean we obviously James Franklin, not even Drew hours James Franklin.

(01:25:05):
Let's start with James Franklin and Drew Hour two. That's
that's fine. Let's start with that guy who can't win
a big game ever. I mean, it's amazing. It's amazing
how he gets that kind of money. You can't win
a big game ever. I mean, we have as many
big game wins as James Franklin, all of us and
are commenting on the show. Anybody in the country had
as many big wing big wins is James Franklin, which

(01:25:28):
is actually ridiculous. A school at Penn State, who you know,
he recruits like nobody's business, right sweeps. I mean, this
guy you got recruited, where was that Bandy. Before this,
he recruited great there and that's what got him is
his name.

Speaker 4 (01:25:45):
Go.

Speaker 3 (01:25:46):
So now now you recruit great, you're a big school,
it's easier to recruit at and you're getting those players,
you're getting those four or five star recruits, and you
can't win a big game. You can't even walk into one.
I mean, dude, that that's that's terrible, absolutely terrible. And

(01:26:06):
I agree with Bill here. That's my other crumbs. The
NFL mount let the player get hamped or flex. It's
not even that. It's like you can't do it. If
you look at somebody, that's a great crumb, it's a
great crumb, Bill, great crumb.

Speaker 1 (01:26:20):
I agree with that crumb.

Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
So I'll add it to the crumblest And yeah, they're pussifying,
and Nikki, it's exactly what they're doing. And I don't
know how you take a physical sport and you puss
a fy like there's not like I don't know, like
I get baseball, like you know, they don't want you,
they don't want you purposely drown guys at one hundred
and one, I got okay, I mean I still would,

(01:26:43):
but I can I can understand it. I guess right,
if they were like, you know, don't do it. It's
the suspensioned automatically whatever the case may be. I can't
I can understand it. But this is a physical sport.
It's violent, and guys make big plays. It's like, oh,
you can't bat we like, dude, I'm not a bat
flip guy. But if you hit it, you name it,

(01:27:06):
like you know, there's the other argument that the bat
flip is.

Speaker 1 (01:27:09):
Well, don't want to hit one out like and I'm
not a back up guy.

Speaker 3 (01:27:12):
But I'm just saying there's like there's arguments to both
sides of it, so you know why even argue, like
like stop, let guys be guys.

Speaker 1 (01:27:21):
So guys fired up because he makes an interception and
he falls down. He looks at the guy like who
knows that they were college teammates? Who knows? You know
what I mean?

Speaker 3 (01:27:29):
Who knows that they were child on friends and they
know each other from from the travel football circuit? Right,
I'm just saying, like, who knows where guys know each other?
From the combines here or there whatever they mean? Senior Bowl? Right,
you know what I'm saying, sweeps, who knows where these
guys meet? You know, it's it's a small football world,
just like in the baseball world. Small football world. So

(01:27:49):
the point is, like, I don't even know if Trayvon
Diggs was having fun with Janwin getting after jan Onen
walking off the field when we played Dallas. Okay, there's
no flag there, and he made a big play or
would play so so so come on, and they're they're
college teammates, they're friends, Like I you actually want that.

Speaker 1 (01:28:07):
I encourage that.

Speaker 3 (01:28:09):
I encourage some some you know, you got you got
you on that one.

Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
You better stop looking my way.

Speaker 3 (01:28:15):
So we guy for that, you know, like I get,
I get hands in the face of a quarterback, I
get all that kind of stuff. Right Like, I'm not
going to sit here and complain about the rough and
the passers on the Eagles today, even though both were weak,
but letter of the law that there they count, you
know what I mean. But I don't have to like it.

(01:28:35):
I don't have to like it, but that's the rule.
But this stuffs stupid dude like the Cooper won just
like turn me off like that, that's absolutely absurd. He
didn't even do anything crazy, Like he's laying over him.
How he's not supposed to step one way or the other.
And then he can't look like I get it, but
I don't. So there's my there's what I got say.

Speaker 4 (01:29:00):
What's the guy's name? I listen, you couldn't agree more.
I mean, ali Omar is a fucking moron, and.

Speaker 5 (01:29:06):
I didn't see that.

Speaker 4 (01:29:07):
But he's a terrible hire and he's a he's a
yes man, he's a jacket, so not surprising. And he
did that as Michael Bush and I hope they were
freaking screaming at I mean, it's coming back, come back,
move huh, telling the.

Speaker 1 (01:29:25):
Family hit that light over on YouTube. That's so I
don't know what we don't like to subscribe.

Speaker 4 (01:29:32):
That's to that point. Yeah, we got four down. Offensive
guy put his hands on him, so maybe done on.
You're talking about offensive, so you gotta be asking for
don down right there because and then the offensive guy
put his hands over.

Speaker 3 (01:29:54):
Well they got fourth down. Yeah, I guess, yeah, they
wanted that. They didn't turn around, but that's a close one.
They let them play on that one. Take a time out,
Green Bay. Yeah, I was just gonna say that.

Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
I mean, I rewinded it. I mean he might not
have turned around.

Speaker 3 (01:30:20):
But I didn't think it was bad. I thought I
thought it was a good no call, that it was
a good no call. I thought both were handsy. If
both are handsy, don't call ship. I hate it when
they call something and both guys are handy. If both
guys are wrapped around each other, let it play. You
both fucked up. I think you both you both gripped up, Like,
why are we even We're gonna throw a double flag?

(01:30:42):
Just let the play go. It's over on the next
Like they said, meetings about that, you know what I mean.
They said, meanings about that guy. Listen, if both guys
are raping each other, right, just let it play, dude,
let me move on.

Speaker 1 (01:30:56):
Save the flat, saved the conversation, saved numbers.

Speaker 4 (01:31:01):
We're all completed it.

Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
Oh you're about your head? Yeah, this was coming. Yes,
I guess the Eagles. Why I want to win.

Speaker 3 (01:31:11):
I want green Bay to go to three and one,
or I want Dallas to go to one and three,
like one and three or two and two.

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:31:18):
I don't fear Dallas, So it's like, I guess I
would want Dallas to win because I don't fear them.

Speaker 1 (01:31:29):
No, No, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:31:31):
Green Bay is more of a threat than Dallas, and
I don't think green Bay's a threat to us either.

Speaker 1 (01:31:40):
Don said, you talk about c JJ. This is to
know I talked about him on Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (01:31:44):
I would I would absolutely find the spot form in
a nickel package. And mccooba is still young too, dude,
so and I love mccooba, But every time the guy's here,
you know, we go to the super Bowl. So I'm
not going to beg for them. But there's also a
reason he's been different places. I get that, But again,

(01:32:06):
these aren't guys you're bringing home the mommy and daddy.

Speaker 1 (01:32:08):
They don't have to be perfect.

Speaker 3 (01:32:09):
Houston stinks, so they're not a well run organization. We
can handle this. We have the leadership. I'm not worried
about it because because it's like leg minimal, Like you
ain't taking on a big contract, you ain't doing anything
crazy at this point.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
You just got cut four weeks into a year, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:32:27):
So he's not getting big money or a two year deal,
So why wouldn't you just take a shot.

Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
You gotta be deep.

Speaker 3 (01:32:32):
You gotta be deep, and it's like you're an injury
away from stinking so like, why not. That's how I
look at stuff, like, if I'm an injury away from
stinking right, maybe maybe it's worth it not to make
him city here.

Speaker 1 (01:32:46):
But you're fine.

Speaker 4 (01:32:47):
You think he never shuts up?

Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Yeah, I know, I know more of a.

Speaker 4 (01:32:51):
Problem than than a producer, if you if you asked me,
all right, but I know, yeah there you know, where
there's smoke, there's fire, So no, I know, but not
everybody could be wrong, you know what I mean. So
I know what you're saying about, you know, not having
the stability of these other organizations, you know, like the Eagles.

(01:33:12):
But he's also a guy on every time he leaves,
he's got something to say on Twitter about he has
or somebody you know in your organization. So it's just
it's as they say, as the kids says.

Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
Yeah, if I got a guy for a million dollars
as to shut up, Yeah, I mean that's how I
look at it. You're you're in your last straw for money.
Guys might guys might shut up a little bit if
maybe it would be a last chance you because it
would be three strikes you're out obviously, so it's the
last chance you here and probably around the Lake for

(01:33:51):
the most part, because you know, he's not going to
get another like two three year deal after what happened
in Houston. So I mean, if he comes here and
we don't he comes here for a year, he has success,
and we don't re up him for another year, that
would say a lot the people too. Right, if we

(01:34:13):
win another Super Bowl in the year and we say
see you later again when we can pay you a
million and a half, then it would say to people, Okay,
what's going on here.

Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
But again not clamoring for the guy. I just like
to be deep. I just like to get deeper. If
I get deeper, like Zadarius Smith, good signing.

Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
You're not going to find guys with nine sacks last
year that crawl on trees. So you know, two weeks
into the season, so good good signing right at the
time where you're not gonna find guys like that.

Speaker 1 (01:34:42):
Same thing with CJ GJ.

Speaker 3 (01:34:43):
You're not finding guys like that at this time of
the year unless you're trading for them.

Speaker 1 (01:34:48):
So you know, if a guy falls off the falls
off the tree, just go scoop him out.

Speaker 4 (01:34:55):
I understand what you said. It's just you know, even
if you take away even if you take away the
antics or the mouth and stuff like that, Like you're
good enough on defense. I know, like you said, you're
always an injury away. But though you want the young
kid to keep playing. That's how you get better.

Speaker 1 (01:35:11):
Yeah, you know, you're right, You're right, you're right.

Speaker 5 (01:35:13):
Just keep playing.

Speaker 1 (01:35:14):
That's my guy. I like that. I like him, so
I do like him, So you're right.

Speaker 3 (01:35:19):
I was gonna make more play him and if if
had a bad game, I was going to more slight
coop out to the outside and bring him in and
let him see if he can play a slot because
that's where he originally has played.

Speaker 1 (01:35:32):
So I would put him in the slot, not the
kid DJ makes sense.

Speaker 3 (01:35:39):
So that's the way I would do because I love Mkoop.
I don't want him to come off the field. To
your point, you take him off the field, like you know,
are you helping them? You know, more more raps he
picks that ball off today, This is my opinion. I
don't know the more raps, you're just faster.

Speaker 1 (01:36:01):
But he's a good player.

Speaker 3 (01:36:02):
I mean he's taking the football a way two or
three times too.

Speaker 5 (01:36:08):
They got a winning identity.

Speaker 1 (01:36:09):
That's that's the first down. The touchdown wins it.

Speaker 4 (01:36:14):
Obviously, that's all. That's all that matters. They they have
a winning identity that's.

Speaker 1 (01:36:23):
Went down in the first Oh it's a bad play.

Speaker 4 (01:36:28):
Oh my, the same guy.

Speaker 5 (01:36:31):
He's been absolutely fucking dudes up all night.

Speaker 1 (01:36:34):
Now that was.

Speaker 4 (01:36:36):
The other the other dude with great cabbage. She's been
fucking dudes up all night.

Speaker 3 (01:36:41):
Well, this is amazing because it's it's awesome because touchdown
or boss, there's no there's no field goals.

Speaker 4 (01:36:49):
You tired?

Speaker 3 (01:36:50):
Yeah, oh, you made a good tie, and I guess
they could point for the tie.

Speaker 1 (01:36:54):
Are you playing for a tie down here? Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:36:57):
Okay, here's only twenty eight seconds if I got yeah, yeah,
I mean it's like you know, we all know, it's
like French kiss and your sister, but and it's better
than a loss. But I hear you. I mean, I'm
going for dogs.

Speaker 1 (01:37:12):
That's fine. After a tie always makes me laugh.

Speaker 4 (01:37:16):
Yeah, I could agree more, but here we go, buddy,
I didn't realize twenty one seconds that I throw down
that far twenty eight for me, I didn't see the
cleavage down there. Seconds there, they're just letting us talk.
This is insane, bro.

Speaker 1 (01:37:36):
You might lose and what are they doing what you got? Lucky?

Speaker 4 (01:37:42):
One second left? House there, one second left?

Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
Are you kicking it?

Speaker 4 (01:37:47):
He's playing for the tie?

Speaker 1 (01:37:49):
No way, I can scirt.

Speaker 4 (01:37:50):
It's the skirt of it's.

Speaker 1 (01:37:55):
This whole game for a tie.

Speaker 4 (01:37:57):
Oh my god, if.

Speaker 1 (01:37:58):
You turn around, line.

Speaker 4 (01:37:59):
Back, turn around, they could have got two plays off.
Oh my god, it's say wow, was there one second that?

Speaker 9 (01:38:11):
Oh I can't believe they're playing for a time. I
can't believe it.

Speaker 4 (01:38:24):
No way, it CAN'TS plus seven cats the taken Thomas,
let's go by.

Speaker 1 (01:38:29):
Oh, guys, think it's right, but we're playing for a ty.

Speaker 4 (01:38:33):
You go down there to hug people sitting in paying.
If I had money, I'm been fucking. I would have
lost my ship. Oh god, I can't make it up.
Nice time, boys, it's amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:39:01):
That allows the time to happen. I just can't believe
they allow time for time. You want to do all
the stuff to make back to the pitch.

Speaker 3 (01:39:14):
You want to take teams all around the country, all
around the world, I should say, And then you want
to you want to like not let's sell no tawning,
but then you're gonna let games of guys grind their
ass off for five quarters.

Speaker 1 (01:39:30):
You're gonna allow it to somethow I end up in
a time. Now, go to college football rules of some sort.

Speaker 4 (01:39:34):
If you want to say these bodies, then it's just
sixty field sixty sixty yard field goals. I mean, there's
a normal now they the dorm. Now like hockey three shootout,
three shots at sixty yards.

Speaker 1 (01:39:48):
Take a shootout. Do a shootout.

Speaker 4 (01:39:50):
Yeah, put Terry Jones on the on the goal post
and shoot at them.

Speaker 1 (01:39:55):
Shootout. Wow, all after a time.

Speaker 3 (01:39:59):
But yeah, can't tickets right, cash two tickets over here?

Speaker 1 (01:40:03):
Yeah, great show, great show Sunday.

Speaker 4 (01:40:06):
Oh yeah, before we get out because I was it was, Uh,
Franklin's obviously at the top of the list for all
offense state fans and obvious reasons. It's it's getting embarrassing.
You know, Kirby Smart's not much better. But even though
he does find himself in the championship game usually so
you know, one long doesn't stuff your toe, but thirty

(01:40:29):
three straight home games, home wins, and you know you
let in Alabama come in here and and uh.

Speaker 5 (01:40:38):
Huge one. You know, he he.

Speaker 4 (01:40:40):
Opted out the tie and the third quarter with a
field goal, and then then he had his young wide
receiver dropped a walk in touchdown, so you know, but
his defense obviously voted up in the second half, which
he's known for. But still at some point, you gotta,
you know, you got you gotta stop letting Alabama push
your ship in, you know what I mean. I mean
like Savan's gone, Savan's gone, you know what I mean.

(01:41:02):
So we we know you were you know, you know,
we know he was your daddy. But now he's gone,
you know, and you're still allowing it to happen. So
terrible job by by Georgia. So there's two guys in college.
I just want to go back a couple of weeks
because I know I hadn't been on so I apologize.
If you guys had alluded to it, you might not have.

(01:41:23):
Obviously we're old school guys, and shit tries me crazy.
I have no idea how nobody beat the ship out
of Framburg Valdez. Valdez three weeks ago when he absolutely
intensely threw a fastball, crossed off his catcher and threw
a fastball. He wasn't happy, and he threw it off
the off the rookies, off the rookies chest, and nobody

(01:41:45):
and we didn't hear it. Nobody nobody attacked him, nobody
beat him up, no brawl, nothing, all right. That's why
you guys aren't the playoffs because you suck, all right,
your lead, your your clubhouse sucks all right. And and
you guys are a bunch of cowards. You allowed that
to happen to a rookie, right, bullshit, absolute bullshit joke,

(01:42:06):
all right. And I couldn't wish anything worse on the
Astros or or or Framber Valdez. Disgrace, you know, disgrace
the baseball did it happened, right, You had a little
pity party, you gave up a home run, and then
you wanted to take it out on a on a
rookie catcher, right, and the poor guy, you know what
I mean, a veteran goes out there, kicks his ship

(01:42:26):
out of you on the field right there where it happens.
But I mean the fact that nobody in the locker
room did nothing. Disgrace, right, And that's so glad. You
guys at home watching and you're at home watching the.

Speaker 1 (01:42:41):
Play definitely talked about that. I don't know if baseball guys,
but we definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:42:46):
Thought, like, dude, he definitely did that on purpose, right,
and definitely.

Speaker 1 (01:42:53):
Not even happened.

Speaker 3 (01:42:54):
But the fact that nobody talked about it made it
seem like the contact are so dry. But the fact
that nobody talked about it is where it was like, well, okay,
we're doing on purpose, because.

Speaker 1 (01:43:08):
That's it's just like loom.

Speaker 4 (01:43:10):
Everybody, like you said, they pick and choose, and we
all know we all hate the media, we know that,
but they pick and choose what they This guy's get
interviewed for a tie.

Speaker 5 (01:43:20):
I mean, what are we doing?

Speaker 4 (01:43:21):
You get out of here, you tie, Get.

Speaker 1 (01:43:23):
Out interviewing the tie? All right?

Speaker 5 (01:43:26):
Yet cared about his numbers?

Speaker 1 (01:43:28):
You tie? You know, go find somebody else.

Speaker 4 (01:43:33):
Go go interview the guys holding the chains. I mean,
he there's a lot of a lot of first downs today.
Go don't interview these guys tie. Uh No, I was
I saying, uh yeah, the media picks and chooses what
they want to talk about. But the fact that that
was not front page and you know, needing Sports Center.

Speaker 5 (01:43:52):
But you know, but when you.

Speaker 4 (01:43:54):
Know, when Castelano's you know, h's a it's a you know,
a milestone home run and and then has a good game.
You know, we we got we got idiot idiot, our
own idiot guys that want to have an embarrassing interview
on airror. Come on, man, the guys the same phone
when ruined tomorrow. Up you know more on ruin tomorrow.

(01:44:17):
We we know you are. I mean you should know
better as a player. Oh yeah, I know. It just
gets worse and worse. I mean everybody, I'm just saying,
you know, on air interview was horrible. And then they
just doubled down and when and asked them again and say,
come on, man, stop asking the guy man like I mean,
we exactly guys used to playing every day. Man.

Speaker 5 (01:44:38):
So I mean I.

Speaker 1 (01:44:41):
Come out of lineup.

Speaker 3 (01:44:43):
You're gonna bund away from the come out before he
comes in the locker room as the seven seven Street.

Speaker 5 (01:44:49):
Leave it alone.

Speaker 1 (01:44:50):
Uh, it's just.

Speaker 4 (01:44:54):
Yeah, they just they pick and choose what they want. So,
you know, should have been you know, it should have
led I should have been leading Sports Center and people
should have been calling for him, you know. And and
the Astros had no balls. They should have suspended them.
They got no balls again, love the fact that they
should have you know, they should have spent them. They

(01:45:14):
didn't do nothing, so they didn't stand by their rookie catcher,
all right, and then I would have I would even
double down. And then the manager and we know, you
know he's a he's a freaking coward, all right, but
he was cruising the other day and they were winning big.
It was like seven nothing, and at four and two thirds,
I would have made a statement four and two dirts.
I would have came and got the ball, and then

(01:45:36):
I would have saw them, now you want to attack
me four and two dirts, Let me take that win
right out of your mouth in a seven nothing game,
four and two dirts, I come get them and tell
them that's a pretty young catcher now getting you.

Speaker 5 (01:45:47):
Go hit the showers.

Speaker 1 (01:45:48):
Yeah, thanks for getting wet.

Speaker 5 (01:45:53):
Yeah, go get a translator to tell you where the
shower is.

Speaker 4 (01:45:58):
Go hit the shower.

Speaker 5 (01:46:00):
I can't even needed a translator. Tell us it wasn't intentional.

Speaker 4 (01:46:04):
Yeah, I believe you. Thanks, I believe good two man
crew tonight, tell good good two man booths tonight, Joe
Buck it was those guys aren't like but I mean,
you know they're a number one crew in Fox.

Speaker 1 (01:46:28):
Oh great show.

Speaker 4 (01:46:30):
Absolutely at what did pony boy say, as we're as
wrong our way out, Tony boy, that's our guy. Pony
Boy had a nice paragraph. What's up, pony boy, go.

Speaker 1 (01:46:45):
See brother purpose. Yeah, he's talking about that.

Speaker 3 (01:46:50):
And how could you imagine Harper or your guys in
the Philly is not beating the ship out of the picture.

Speaker 1 (01:46:55):
Don't have to doing about that is dead. That is discussing.
I could not wave out. We talked about it. Yeah,
that's where it was like that it really happened. Yeah,
because I felt the same way, like, why isn't we
talking about it? It's quer on Purpose needs to change
this rule?

Speaker 3 (01:47:10):
Who ridiculous from the week two NFL allowing ties to
happen on a great game. Hate the Cowboys, don't want
the Packers either, but love football and this was this
was an awesome one. And and let somebody come out
on top. You're talking about you're talking about the the
like the semi rivalry we have here now.

Speaker 1 (01:47:34):
Yeah, so you just told us no team one off
the trade.

Speaker 4 (01:47:38):
Yeah just look and you just look at yeah yeah,
and I just now I just and now I look
and and then now you you know, I look at
the floor so much different, you know, not that he
was like, you know, I'm just a monster. Of the floor. Guy, Like,
I don't. I didn't, I don't, I don't hate it.

Speaker 1 (01:47:52):
Yeah, I didn't have.

Speaker 4 (01:47:55):
You know, I mean now now I know you know
he wipes front the back, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:48:00):
I know that.

Speaker 4 (01:48:00):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:48:01):
Like like I wasn't sure either. I wasn't sure.

Speaker 8 (01:48:07):
I couldn't agree with you more with them it was water. Yeah,
I know he won a lot of games, right, I
know he was the guy who's won a lot of games.
So I just didn't know everything.

Speaker 3 (01:48:21):
Now you know me, you know, you know, imagine, imagine
like from the twenty is kicking maybe, but I don't
think he is. I mean, From the twenty makes it harder.
But it's their fault because they didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:48:38):
They didn't manage forty something seconds left when they got
down there.

Speaker 4 (01:48:42):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. They just didn't manage so
like you know, if something happened, then there was only
one second left, and I get it. Oy boy, that's
my guy. Man, I missed that guy. Toughest nails right there.
Talk about a guy talking about a guy. That would
have about a guy talk about a guy would have
not only would it went for it all right, talking
about a guy stands up and pisses. But the guy

(01:49:03):
that would have kicked the ship out of val Dance
right there, Tony boy. Absolutely, it would have been a
fight to get to Valdez's locker room.

Speaker 3 (01:49:11):
Yeah, Dan Campbell would have went for it easy from
the twenty. Made it hard though, that's the point. From
the twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:49:16):
You must have to kick him out because you fucked around.

Speaker 3 (01:49:19):
That's the other side of it too, even though even
though he's a pussy, but you can still score a
touch out.

Speaker 1 (01:49:25):
No, you can't score touch out of.

Speaker 4 (01:49:26):
The twenty just mismanaged the whole thing, that's all.

Speaker 1 (01:49:30):
Yeah, that's why.

Speaker 4 (01:49:31):
That's why when it comes down one second, what are
you gonna do now if you're inside the five? Yeah,
of course.

Speaker 3 (01:49:37):
Oh if you're out of the five and he kicks it,
he should He shouldn't go out off the like on
the plane, like, Hey, hey, we're gonna we're gonna ask
you to walk home. All right, great, shot, We love y'all. Great,
that's great. H D Radio Flag Go Fly Go Fells

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
