of the show, sixers winners are two in a row.
The kids are fun to watch. We'll talk about it
later on the show. What's the plan for the final
(01:04):
two games? Seating rest Obviously we'll talk about it. You're
not going to take two weeks off, but we'll discuss
a little bit what some ideas Eagles have with that.
Eagles commanders will recap that one preview Buffalott Buffalo a
little bit, but get right into the poll question. Breaking
a twenty year repeat draft proves the Eagles are still
(01:25):
the team to beat in the NFC. Do you agree
or disagree? Let us know Faithbook, YouTube, Twitter, that's where
we're live everywhere. You get your podcasts for there as well,
get to like, subscribe, follow, most importantly, join the conversation tonight.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I mean, I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
I don't think that has anything to do with you
like the team to beat in the NFC. I say
that they're the team to beat in the NFC if
you're back in the postseason and you're raining Super Bowl
champs and you look good enough, right, if you look
good enough and you have some similarities to what you
had last year and you start playing good football, yeah,
(02:01):
you're you're wanting teams to be I don't think the
drought correlates to it, you know what I mean in
my opinion, So I disagree there in terms of that.
I just think, listen, when you're re reigning champ and
you went through a little bit of a struggle here
over four game stretch, and you're starting to find it
even though we're not playing the best teams, but things
are starting to look better okay, and you're starting to
(02:22):
feel a little bit better about the identity coming to life,
which we knew what it was the all time, but
they're starting to do that a little bit better, which
is a positive against good teams. Bad teams doesn't matter.
You need to be playing better going into the postseason.
That's that's all it matters. So if you're playing better
going into the postseason with the way this league is,
are you are we sold on? Sam Darnold and the Seahawks?
(02:44):
Are we are we sold on?
Speaker 3 (02:46):
I think that you played well yesterday though.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I think I think in the second hand they played
really well.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I think we ran the ball pretty well, which was
that's the identity.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I don't know they played well.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
I think the second half they played. They played good football.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
You take away two miss kicks in a fumble that
puts them into thirty five. I thought they played really well.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, I think the second half they played well. I'm
not gonna say the first first half was a little
little rough, but again they're finding, not finding that identity
because it's been there, but they're starting to run the
ball better, and it starts the jail that I've been
clear on. The week he has to use his legs,
it opens up for Saquon And we watched it yesterday again.
So and you watch it against the Raiders, you watch
(03:29):
a little bit of against the Chargers. He has to run.
So when he runs enough, now it's on tape. Now
you gotta defend the RPO more. And I'm not I'm
just saying it because of their defense right now, regards
who they played, din't even been good all year. Yeah, yeah,
they're the team to beat the NFC. Their rained Super
Bowl champs. They had the best defense in the NFC.
So yes, until somebody beats them, right if they listen,
(03:51):
if they were if they were seven and seven going.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Into this week, I won't agree to it.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Right, but there they were nine to five or ten
and five now right, yeah, so so so many beats
them in the postseason. They're the team. They're the team
to be. I mean, I think that's hard to disagree
with when you had that kind of defense, you know
what I mean. Recardless, they're gonna have They're gonna end
the year again, it's an extra an extra game. But
take the answer game out. It's against buffaloll They're gonna
end the year with running back over one thousand and two,
(04:18):
wide receivers over one thousand. They're still dangerous. As much
as they haven't played well on all these things, they
played a little bit better, and a little bit better
goes a long way when you're going in the dance, right,
because the last thing you want to be doing. It
could be worse. You could have laid an egg somehow
against the Raiders or not played well, and you could
have You could have lost against Washington. Maybe not with
Josh Johnson, but prior to Josh, prior Tojize, you could
(04:41):
lose that game. We've seen crazy ship. So you know,
nobody's unbeatable and nobody's imbeatable in the NFC. I don't
think Seattle is. They had a great win the other night,
for sure, but I don't think they're unbeatable. I think
the Rams are damn good. I don't think they're beatable.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
I think the other two in the West are better
than Seattle.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I think the Bears are awesome. They find they find
ways to win games.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
League. It might be you might be a year a good,
but a good might.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Be a year.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Wait listen throw all good team. San Francisco is a
good team. Want to give HI day.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Good.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Everybody's good. But until somebody beats us, right, naturally, I
would think we're the team to beat because of the defense.
Defense travels so where you want to go, because I
believe they'll travel right. And if you don't turn the
football over like they haven't been doing. You got back
to taking care of the football these last two weeks.
You're gonna be in every game, every game, so you know.
(05:33):
And I think Jalens look more decisive with less again,
when you're not throwing at thirty five forty times, I
feel like that's gonna happen. But I feel like he's
looked a little bit better, a little bit more confident
in what he's looking for and just going. But the run.
It starts with the run game with this football team,
and when you got a great defense. And I think
the biggest part why I still think that the team
to beat is just starting to see those drives again.
(05:53):
The seven minutes stuff we didn't see at the beginning
of the year. Seven minute dries, eight minute drives, nine
ten better better. You need those drive to keep the
defense off the field. So they showed signs of life.
So yeah, I'll agree, but not I'm not agreeing to
the pole. I'm just agreeing that they're the team to
being understand. I don't think that drat has anything.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
To do with it. Yeah, no, I agree. I mean
I would go, I'll.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
Go next, but I'll just go real quick because it's no,
it's the same shit you said. So I don't want to,
you know, kill the audience when that knows them, you
know what I mean. I don't know if they're a
team to beat. I disagree with the pole. That has
nothing to do with it. So that's exactly what you said.
And I'm a big god, I'm a big proponent of
you know, the champs gotta be beat, you know what
I mean, The Champ's got to be punched in the mouth,
(06:37):
all right, you know, if you know, if they're invited,
if you invited them, all right, then you gotta beat them,
all right, So they're invited, let's see what happens, all right,
So we can move on to Wilson, Greg because I
just everything you said.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
It's you know, I felt like punching you in the
mouth because I.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Was everything I was gonna, there's everything I was thinking.
So yeah, but I don't know where they fall. But yeah,
I don't know either. I think the NFC is wide
open for those reasons that you said. I think there's
four or five teams that can win it. You know,
(07:13):
there's nobody that that stands out. But you know, as
far as.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Cham yeah, absolutely, that's what I mean. When you're the champ. Absolutely, yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Mean I echo what you guys are saying as well, like, uh,
I'll probably disagree to the poll, but like we're a
tough out and someone's got to knock us out with
the defending champs, and we're gonna be a tough out
regardless because like you said, Tommy, our defense is gonna play.
We're they're gonna keep us in every game. So if
the offense can make enough plays, we should we could win.
We could beat anybody. We also could lose anybody. So
(07:46):
we'll see, we will see. I'm not liking the fact
that we're probably gonna see the NMC West team first game,
but hey, you gotta you gotta see him at some point.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
They gotta come to us though, yeah, I do, right,
So that's the.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
To me, I the UH Seahawks winning that game sucks
because I'd much rather see the Seahawks. I think we
would would beat them easier than the Rams or the Niners,
which is now likely we're gonna see one of them.
Because I don't think can we catch the Bears now?
We probably can't, right, they won today.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Green Bay last night.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Yeah, I mean they can still lose their next two
games with the old.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Driver pretty much loss into the three seed, then.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Right, well you could get well, if they take the one,
you could you could get ye, yes, most likely two
or three most likely? Said yes, there's obviously a chance
you can get the two. But I think I don't
think we're playing anybody in week eighteen, right, So how.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Can we get the two? Though? Oh, you mean the.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Because I think, yeah, I would have to lose.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
But I think I think if Sam fram wins out
and beats Seattle, Sam Fran gets the one.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Right, I'm saying two, I don't think we can get
the one.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
You're right, yeah, but we can't catch Chicago either, yeah,
if they got to.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
That's like Creig was saying, even without rest, nobody place
in air.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Quote, what is it week eighteen or week nineteen, whatever, whatever,
the never in the new.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
Whatever the sexy. Nobody's playing in the last week. They
got to be out of their mind. It's a practice
squad game. I'm calling guys, David coming up because of this.
It's against the Skins, and you know it's an instigation
and it's going to be they're trying to get you
to thrown out.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
They're gonna try to hurt you, they're gonna do everything,
and they're powerfunking all right.
Speaker 5 (09:32):
So there shouldn't be one person that plays that game
if you're a Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Quinn, Yeah, yeah, Hey, Dan got eyes because we couldn't
made a kick. Oh god, damn day, Dan. So you
think that's one of the reasons maybe they did, Dan.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
You think it's one of the reasons that. Yeah, yeah,
you want to talk about you're punting fourth.
Speaker 5 (09:55):
And sixth that and come on, Bunny, you wear fucking panthers,
you wear papers, and you white front the back, you
white front.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
The back, and you're pissed that the guy record no
for you're a loser.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
You're a loser in the twenty eighth, the fucking three game, right, buddy,
fucking loser.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
You're the same guy that kept your.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
Quarterback in franchise guy and got his elbow twisted from
here to downtown Washington, DC.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Rights in the White House. We ended up in the
White House.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
Then you played them two weeks later, even though Willis
wanted him to play, because he said he he's a competitor.
He wants to play. I'm sure you know, folks gotta
make decisions.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
You're a moro, Dan, shut your mouth. Shut your mouth.
You had a chance to do it on the field,
you didn't do it.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
And then you had a chance and fourth and six,
fourth and six, not fourth and twenty, fourth and sixth
down eleven snow ball game. You punt it right, because
you're a retread NFL retread. That's what they all get.
They all hired their buddies. Everybody's gotta walk them company
line so they get hired for another job.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
All right.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
He tells me, the book tells me the pot fourth
the sick, and I got a pot. I don't get
blown away, all right, Tom said, you're a pussy shut
the fuck up, Dan, and you can be fired immediately.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Put your hat on straight.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Then he might get fired.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
Put your hat on straight then, Yeah, fucking worried about
a guy going for two fucking idiot?
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah yeah, I mean we did miss four kicks, man, we.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Did, Like, if you have eyes, what are you mad about?
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Like, probably get and get some work. But you know,
I digress, you know.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Yeah, he looked good on extra points. I mean, yeah,
he looked clean. There's right you upright there, guys, So
I mean, but I mean, like, if you're taking that personal,
you're just looking you're looking for the wrong things. Want
a bad ear where they went through it? But Greg
answered the poll and then let's get back to a
little bit of the game.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
Yeah, I I also disagree. Uh, it's great to break
the curse. Uh and and be the be it back
to back?
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Would should be off des somebody? Yep, we have us.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
I think us and the Cowboys both had seven throughout
that run. But we uh so it's nice.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
But yeah, but.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
I agree there there's there's nothing that that rolls over
except for the fact that we're there now, right and
and you guys have all said it the other the
other bonuses. Like I said, whoever's gonna come to us now, right,
we get a home playoff game, we get a chance
to get right game one of the playoffs and get
off and get rolling watch somebody's sitting at home, you know,
(12:35):
and and then the other side. The last thing, too,
is once you get there, the schedules are all regulated, right,
not as many short wheelers should be, No short weeks
should be, no you know, special games. Right, it's just
weekend play football. Move on to the next weekend.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
So we could play that stupid Monday game.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
We could.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
You know, you're right as I say that, Yeah, we
could play Monday.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
The fact that you just said that, I'm almost penciling
us in the month.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
We're we're playing Monday.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
I just I'm hoping it's Sunday because I like, I
like the Sunday games. Don't mind Sunday night, yeah, right
with it just hasn't been good, mind. Like, I've listened
to four, I think three games that work this year,
and two of them we got absolutely waxed in the
Giants in Chicago game, and then we lost the Chargers game.
So I really would prefer to not play on Monday.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
It's just take that one off, buddy. But back to
back to the game a little bit yesterday, and I said,
we know, we know what they are at this point
of the year, but it's still a divisional game. You
still got to go play better, right. So the the
(13:45):
conversation on how they played, you know, well, I think
it really started a run game when you rush for
over two hundred yards, right, And it's something that they've
gotten away from early on in the year a little bit.
They haven't been able to do it right and and
and they haven't been able to do it they didn't
make adjustments early on the year to be able to
fix it is the biggest thing, because there's ways to
(14:06):
fix it. And it starts with the RPO. Starts with
getting under center more right, and you see their success
with both right, a lot more success under center with
Saquon running and then play action case Saquon prefers to
be downhill. But then the RPO is so beneficial because
Jalen started to run the ball. So that's that's the
remo guys. I mean, this isn't a shot at jailing,
it's it's just who they are. Twenty five thirty attempts
(14:29):
and under take care of goddamn football, use your legs.
So what he combined for what two hundred and thirty
total yards yesterday? Around there? Yeah, in that range. A
little less than that, yeah, okay, but in that in
that range, and that's a great number. So when you're
getting two touddies, no turnovers, you know, and you're doing
at the quarterback position, Listen, you're you're not gonna lose
(14:49):
many games unless other things are turning the football over, right,
unless you're getting fumbles out of the running game or
special teams turnovers. Unless you getting those things. Man, I
keep telling Tony, it's not hard. It's not rocket science.
They're a hard they're a hard out because they don't
turn it over. That's what makes them even a harder out,
because they don't turn over and they have a good defense.
(15:10):
Like those things sort of go in your favor, Brandy
team in the lague. It's not just an Eagles thing.
I mean, it's a circle circle to block here, right.
If you don't turn it over and you have a
really good defense, you're gonna be in a ship ton
of games, right, and you're probably playing NFC title games
or NFC title games a lot aka the Kansas City
Chiefs didn't turned the futball over, took it away. I mean, listen,
(15:32):
every one of the greats at quarterback, right, I get it.
But you so, it's so the points, so vowd you
do those things? You're in games? You know, I think
the Patriots want to turn them battle for freaking two decades.
Well yeah, I mean you look at it that the Patriots.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Then you look at even those Ravens years with Flacco,
you know, had a great defense and Flacco didn't really
turn the ball over in those years.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Called game manager, right, it's like old game manager Russell Wilson,
same thing in Seattle. Didn't turn the ball over. Man,
they what are we doing? I got the Patriots.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Yeah, it's terrible, just a.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Terrible Now, Tommy, you're right, you mentioned it in your opening.
We started, even going back to the Chargers game, we
started seeing these drives Chargers game. We didn't cash in
on them, but you started seeing them. Then obviously you
get the Raiders and you get the you know, Commanders,
and you start cashing in these drives. I think what
(16:27):
went through everyone's perception of of yesterday off with the
game is that early fumble is that kickoff fumble right
on right at the beginning of the game, you know,
and for for the defense to stand on that and
only give up three, I think it's huge. You know,
Nick Dolmos kept you in the gate because you go
down seven there because we weren't absolutely right, We weren't
(16:49):
great in that first half. We were really good in
that second half though, and that's when you needed to
you needed to bury them, and they did well.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Also thought we went on a really good drive there.
Touchdown was I mean seven plays sixty seven yards three minutes,
so I mean it's still a good drive because then
we punted it could only went three plays nine yards
punted tuddy. Then we had a nice twelve play sixty
(17:20):
five yard drive about six minutes. Right about six minute drive,
miss field goal, they go down, they get a toddy
all right, and eight play sixty seven yard or then
we go on eleven play forty two yard drive, which
is actually hard to do about four minutes another missfield goal. Okay,
So then we opened the half when we get the
(17:41):
ball after a four and out, not a three and
out of four and out seventeen plays seventy four yards
ten minutes and thirty five seconds. I mean that's a monster,
monster drive.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Yeah, that reminds me of that drive. Different scenario of
the game, but that Pittsburgh drive from two years ago,
right where you get the ball in the fourth quarter,
eight minutes left in Pittsford doesn't see the ball again.
But we hadn't seen that all year. We hadn't seen
that all year from this team. They almost showed, they
(18:15):
felt like, they showed that they couldn't do that. He
couldn't go on those drives. And now that now they are,
now they're starting to yep, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Of course.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Down not as many better on third down yesterday four
for nine, not great. They started out, oh for four,
So they turned that around. Uh one time of possession
thirty four minutes of twenty five twenty six first downs.
That's fun. Obviously tied the turnover battle won once he
didn't lose it, and then three hundred and eighty five
(18:50):
total yards to two hundred and twenty. You know, so
what they want.
Speaker 5 (18:54):
Turnovers on specialties. But you're never fun at or whether
or wherever you.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Get you know, you know, as Lisa was in the offense,
you know.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
They're they're listen, they're went away from changing. I believe this.
I've said it for I said it really Wednesday. Lean
up to this. You know that there were two wins away.
Now they're really a win away from really changing the
vibe of the of the fan base. That not that
I really give a ship, but changing the vibe of
the fan base going into the postseason. You go up
there and get a win, man, people are gonna have
(19:29):
a different vibe. You go up there and play well
and get a win too, Like you sustain drives, right,
you know what I mean? You run the ball, not
saying it's an easy place to go. Win babe. Yeah
we are, Yeah, we are. Come on in, say he look,
you know what I mean, we see it. Come on it,
Oh Danny boy, there you on, come on in, Come
(19:50):
sit downber Mike, come on, knock on our door. I'll
be waiting for you, waiting of waiting for the voice
of the angel that you know, I mean the chime man. Listen.
So but you go up there and you get a win,
it just changes the vibes.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, but I no, no, I'm not disagreeing with you.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
I'll only disagree with what you're saying because we're there.
That's just for like the Randy Quaits. There's probably like
there's probably like a handful of Randy Quads in this area,
you know what I mean, Like, well, whatever they do,
it's like they're shitty, these guys, you know what I mean.
That's why menpi. There's a bunch of lady quaits, you
know what I mean. There's guys, you know, there's listen,
(20:33):
there's guys. There's a population with the green glasses. They
could do no wrong. Then there's normal fans that are
just passionate and listen, they want to see good football.
And then they still believe in them. And then you know,
and then you got your Randy quaits. You know what
I mean, Nothing they can do is right, you know
what I mean, Or or they're waiting for the worst.
You know, Randy was always waiting for the other shoot
(20:54):
to drop, all right, and then they went.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
On that run and you know what to do.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
The Indians went on that running to going to.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
The cover and only launching the cover showed up your I.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Think I agree with you. It would be you know,
let's take it away. Let's talk about the locker room.
Locker room, That's what I'm just gonna right, you go
into the locker room now and team wise, they feel like, listen,
now you feel like, hey, we went up there, won
a game. We're winners. Are three in a row before
we get a little we get a little bye week.
Now we get a little bye week. We got to
(21:29):
get fresh. And I mean, Jordan Watta said the other
day how important that is because everybody's banged up now
across the lick, so it's just big to get it.
But yeah, I think it's big. It goes a long way,
even if you go up and play really well too,
like just going up and having a good showing. But
a wing goes a long way just because again, you
(21:50):
win three in a row going into the postseason, you
know it's defending champs. How are we not feeling good
that we didn't because nobody everybody said we couldn't write
the ship. It was twenty twenty three. It's a three
twenty tway three and I kept saying, no way, the
defense is too good for that ship. Okay, And essentially
they are in the schedule sort of said come on, guys, now,
The schedule said that same thing in twenty twenty three
(22:11):
as well, and they just continued to collapse, but adjustments
that have been made right, we wouldn't nice to play
well again gets his I'm not giving the guy flowers here,
but the guy gets his freaking egg house, his house
egged right. And and next thing you know, he starts
making adjustments and he starts seeing different wrinkles and different things.
(22:31):
But he saw that pre egging, pre egging. We talked
about it. He started seeing better drives. They just weren't
finishing turnovers, penalties, but he started to see, like, man,
they can run the ball, like they can do some
things again. They're not what they were last year. But
god damn it, you're gonna have three. All your big
guys are gonna have over one thousand.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
But special though last year was so special, like we can't.
I think we got to stop comparing it to last year.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
It's not even fair. It's not we were so special.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Got touched from last year, and that's how he becomes
world champs.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
I mean, he just total domination of of every one
of your opponents.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
And that's even special. Though.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
This shows you everything was easy last year.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
It's everything shows This shows.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
You a lot.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
We could show you a lot about jail. They get,
they get back to another super Bowl somehow, right, There
ain't a goddamn thing anybody can say anymore. I'm serious,
Like that's nothing. He's about the coach quarterback, like like
where they you know where they got like and I'm
not saying they're going back to one. I'm just saying,
hypothetically they go back to one. Man, you gotta gotta
start talking about just a winner. Not that we haven't
(23:38):
talked about that enough, but now it's like, dude, the guy,
the guy gets it at leash and a half, you
know what I mean. Now, calm down with the benching,
and it'll be fitting. It'd be fitting in this city
where the media drove a fucking benching not to be
played well, but the media drove a benching after the
Super Bowl MVP Grant, the defense deserved that one. But
he had a monster, really good the year last year too, okay,
(24:00):
and they had a great super Bowl two years prior
to that where he didn't they didn't win. But either way, okay,
this total Philadelphia for them to want to him bench
talking about trading them and he goes back, He goes
back to another super Bowl, win, lose, regardless. I don't care.
He goes back to what everybody, shut your fucking mouth
and everyone on the goddamn dial should lose their fucking jobs. Okay,
(24:21):
that's how bad I wanted. I want it more for
me as a fan than I wanted to shove it
up the Badtubs asshole, Joejiglio's asshole, and everybody else that
wants to drive a winner out of fucking down a
guy it doesn't care about the numbers, cared about winning.
In a world of selfish motherfuckers, it's nice to actually
have somebody that just cares about the w that's all.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
That's all.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
We can continue to crush them, and we know the
negatives and the things the others do great, but I'm
telling you, man, we should be thankful we got a
damn good morning in the city. Go. A lot of
places will be begging for a coach like this and
a quarterback like this. I want to give flowers out
the night. Five playoff of five playoff appearances in five years,
two Super Bowls and maybe maybe a possible third one.
(25:01):
You can everybody can shut their fucking mouse right, and
I don't. I don't need the great presser, the flowers
and all the weird comments. Then it doesn't matter. If
you can connect with guys. He connects with that locker room.
He's connected with him. It's been something he cares about,
all right, and we don't we can think on the
outside it doesn't work, and that's fine. It obviously it
obviously works to a point because they constantly go back
(25:23):
in a world where it's hard to go back to
back and back back.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
It's it's just a good organization. Yeah, for both of them.
They're they're linked together.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
They're linked together, and he's and he obviously holds Oh
he's holding this. He's holding this thing together. You know,
they're you know, they're very talented too. That's a very
it's a very good locker room. It's a very good organization.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
So but you know, I mean, Chang, what does that mean?
Real quick? Eagles man, I mean it's it's the bolt
because people don't talk about the good ones. People don't
talk about when he fits in in the fucking windows.
We talked about everybody else. The ball to Dallas yesterday
is a rifle, it's a laser. It's in a great spot. Okay,
And I'm not gonna say every ball he has, but
don't tell me he doesn't have capability to being a
game change. His legs on one equal game changer, equal gaming.
(26:16):
When you can have sixty six six yards to carry,
that's a game changer for your entire offense. So don't
tell me he's not a game changer. He's a playmaker.
Hence why I was yelling about three weeks ago, Right, Greg,
he's a playmaker. Don't take away the playmaker. Same with
Lamar Jackson offense. Offense is not one hundred yards a
game because he can't run the football anymore. Because he
don't run the football. So what do you think is
(26:36):
gonna happen? That's your biggest asset? Will you take it away?
Speaker 2 (26:41):
It is hard to produce that quickly. You need time.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
You need years to redefine your game. You understand me
when I'm saying you need years. If you want to say, hey,
I'm gonna go beat you in the pocket, that don't
happen overnight, babe. That takes time, right, So to change
your style of play at this level isn't an overnight success.
It takes time. The Eagles have tried it. They tried
to be pocket pocket pocket right, and they win games.
(27:06):
Don't get me wrong, But when they get to this
point of the year where it's it's money time, and
it's shut up time, and it's you could be can't
coon time, it's time to use the legs, babe.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
You can do whatever you want to eighteen right, But
when you get in December and it's time to win
football games. What wins in December? What's won from the
second we started watching football. If you can run it
and you can stop it, you're gonna go deep. When
he went on the lines and Jordan Davis pet his
(27:38):
ass to I mean to pay whatever he wants right now.
He's a game changer.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
He's unmovable.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
He's done great this year.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
He's been fantastic.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
I was skeptical with the weight loss coming in. I was,
I yes, I thought, but great, he's been great and.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Shot out what you call your best about.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
And I would say, like, he's been way better than
jailing has all your jail has been banged up, for sure.
I think you're for a while too.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Well, obviously, because I thought he banged up week two
with the rest because they would always go here, yeah,
and then maybe a turning the shoulders who knows. But listen, listen,
you can tell me when you can tell me in
the wildcard round. If you can tell me, you can
tell me this. You write me a little latter and
you slip it to me, and I get to open
up a wild card day and you tell them and
I open it up and I see, oh, you get
(28:31):
jail on Carter and Lane Johnson today. That's a fun
little envelope. The envelope then you slipped across my desk,
because listen, we know what they are with without Lane.
I think they they've been able to hang in without
him a little bit better than in years past in
terms of the win standpoint, not like you know what
I mean, not production, but it's nice. They really survived
(28:54):
without jail because they got they got guys off front
of Joe who can get after it. Brian Young can
get after it. And when Jordan Davis plays out of
his mind, but they could use him back too.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
So well with the with the Lane thing, I think
that's where the schedule helped out, right, once Lane get
down or you know, we had the Chargers of course,
and and Cowboys, right, I think Cowboys was the first
game without Lane. But then you get the Raiders, you
get the comedies, you know, so that helps with with
being able to sustain without Lane. But yeah, I mean
the defense is that that upfront is is incredible. They've
(29:28):
been playing awesome. And again it allows you then to
keep Jill and Carter out. It allows you to keep
and just bank extra dates without him having the play
and going for that no.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Point in him coming back into the playoffs, right.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Which which goes to say, though even now, even if
you pull him back for Buffalo, you still should have
put him both on I L because that would have
been four weeks like a tactical error there.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
But it's it's that's why there's only a certain amount,
you know. It's are the type of player that can
play in this market, you know what I mean, Because
it's just because of the stupid nonsense, you know, because
if you look at it, like even after the Chargers game,
instead of like doom and gloom and the sky's falling,
just if you looked at the positives, now there might
(30:17):
not have been any positives. But when I look what
I what I looked at is you turn them all
over four times, you turn it over five. But at
the time you had to turn it over four times
and you have a chance to.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Win the football game. Hadn't heard them right.
Speaker 5 (30:30):
So there's always ways to look at things and say, yeah, okay,
we're not looking for ribs here. I'm just saying instead
of being all doom and gloom, it's like, hey, listen,
as horseshit as we were on our fence, you know,
we had a chance to win a football game, you know.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
In their place, in their place, like you were that
bad in somebody else's place. It's a good football team.
Like it's one thing to play that band at home
and still have an opportunity to win it. And the
funny thing, that's what Channel said after the game. He said,
the thing that gets me the most is no matter
how bad I played previous to that or o't bat
we played leading up to it, we had a chance
to go win the game. And I take pride in
(31:04):
those and those opportunities. So you know, we say no more.
I appreciate you, you know, because you're you're spot on.
He's spot on.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Listen, I think they're I think they're damn good. Again.
I'm not saying it's disrespectfully. I'm not scared of the Rams.
I'm not scared of the Seahawks. I'm not scared of
the Niners. Doesn't mean they can't beat us. It's not
what I'm saying. I'm saying I'm not scared of them
because I think the percentages are higher. We beat them
at our place, that's all. That's all. I think the
(31:40):
Rams are awesome, right, I'm sure DeVonta Adams will be
fine by that week, even though we know Hammis are weird, right,
but I'm sure I'm sure he'll be fine. And they're
dangerous as ship, but defensive lines win.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
Yeah, I feel like they got they have to get
to five seeds though, right, I mean I guess they couldn't,
because I guess the non could. I found a tweet
sixth until we would play.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Yeah, so we need so we want the Niners.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
We want Niners that I don't know that I want
the Niners. Who was rather I'd rather have Green Bay?
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Well, I mean who won it? And he signed me
up for that? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I love yeah, Mika, Yeah, yeah, I did.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
We There is an outside chance again outside, but there
is a chance for the one. This was sent out
two days ago. Eagles went out, right, so that might
be that might be this the clock or there or
the end there right, because we might No one's playing
on Week eight. Team uh Rams lose twice, Darry lost once,
Seahawks lose twice, Niners loose tights, Bears lose twice, Packers
(32:42):
lose once. So you need everyone to lose. But it's
not out of this.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
Well, I don't think it can happen anymore because because
the Bears played the sam fram So someone's winning that game.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
There you go, and that was before.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Yesterday.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yes, yeah, we're talking about real AI systems here. Essay.
I appreciate you. Forty chances the two seed we'll see.
You're telling me there's a chance, you know, oh, because
that keeps you away from the one seed obviously, depending
on who that is.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Right now, you don't see them, and.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
That doesn't make any sense. That's jam.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Well, yeah, Bears.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
The Bears already have eleven wins, can't we only Oh no,
we can get to twelve. Okay, you get to twelve. Yes,
they have to lose out.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
You're gonna question, You're gonna question our pedicual or official doubt. Yeah,
it just proved your wrong. You tried fighting. It's so
bad because you didn't want to get into it, you
hurd Ai. That doesn't make sense. The Matthew the math
Oh yeah, yeah, I don't trust that ship. But yeah,
(33:48):
it's right.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
I don't think.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
The Bears aren't going to lose out.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
Nobody said they would. I mean, who's who they have
last they could.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
I guess. I mean they do have the same fran
Fran and I think.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
We got it's a division game. It's a division game.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Would be good if Detroit give me a second, does
ask me the same questions?
Speaker 6 (34:09):
Well, no problem, problem, no problem, Eat up Detroit, Detroit throw.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Great throat great throw well, bucket me. I mean the
Troit Detroit Detroit might be out of the playoffs even if
they went out right, I think they're oute now.
Speaker 5 (34:35):
Yeah, And I don't want to wait till the end,
you know what I mean, because I'm a huge, huge
Daniel guy, huge Daniel guy, all right, defended him against
guys like Grey who who laugh at him, and somefing
and rightfully so, Greg you can't and everybody else that
doesn't like I love him. I think he's a but
but I've come to the point where it might be
(34:56):
time for Dan to go. Just do some motivational commercials.
Maybe maybe volleyball. Maybe this isn't your sport, Dan, I
Ben Johnson was the guy, right, and all the bravado
and all the piss and vinegar, it just ain't working,
you know what I mean. I know they got a
ton of injuries, right, I give the guy the credit.
I love the guy, and I love what he did there, right,
But I mean he's pissed away at least four games
(35:18):
this year and they're gonna miss the playoffs, maybe by
one game, right, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Like you just.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
I don't think you kicked two.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
Field goals against I think you choose. He didn't choose
to kick two field goals against Eagles. He's just it's
it's and then you know two years ago against the Niners,
you know, and then the Skins came in there and
kicked the ship out last year. So you know, Danny's
he's not on thin ice, but and he's on sweeps
his thin ice, which doesn't matter. Dan will still wake
(35:48):
up tomorrow. You don't give a shit about me.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
I was your I was your guy.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
I was your guy.
Speaker 5 (35:55):
I went to battle for you in every fucking chat,
every chat.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
And because you see, you see what's happening. You know
you're right in the same division, and you know you
watch the impact Ben Johnson has immediately just over, just
over to provide them the toughness of a football team, right,
because that team changed overnight. I mean they are tough,
they're physical, and they and they're never out of the game.
(36:18):
I mean, how many how many late game winning wins
they have? I means like Caleb Williams has like four
game winning drives five Remember they want they started to. Yeah,
they started owing to. And you can paint to nails.
You can do whatever you want to do, and you
can you can skip production meetings for for the networks.
I don't give a ship if you win games, right, Like.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Dude's got a crazy crazy that was.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Crazy. We asked that, we asked, We asked for too
much year one from guys and and and especially when
you're picked high and you get the opportunity to start,
you gotta give guys time. And you got to give
time guys time you get the right coordinator, right, because
you don't always get the right higher there's another reason
why guy's fail. Then Johnson's a home run higher. I
mean just watched the clips. I mean you can see guys,
(37:11):
guys are loving them, which is so important, and that
can wear off two every time. Right, But it seems
like he's had that wherever he's been. But that dude
just stuck till Williams is stuck and we knew what
he will see a little bit, right, But you will
see a little bit too much quits and glamours sometimes
and it can give you a little bit of a
wrong perception.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
So I think a lot of the arm town.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Yeah, the town was there, it's can you put it together?
He's slowly started to put it together.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Oh yeah, I don't know. If it's not not that
slow anymore, he might be fastly putting it together.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Well he is.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
They're pretty They're pretty good and there, their lines are good,
they're they're they're a dangerous team. I still think they
might be too young, but they're dangerous for sure. They
just know how to win, right.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
Sometimes, which is I can't see, you know, I can't
sit here every Wednesday and Sunday and talk about we
find ways to win and it's all we do, and
then not not give credit to arguably the best team
at finding ways to win this year, which has been
the Chicago Bears.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
Yeah, I mean, I figure, I mean Ben Jonson's gobby
coach the year.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Right, has to be.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Has to be.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
With their turnarounds, well, I mean, I guess maybe Seattle.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
I mean their defense. Their defense does stink. They just
take the ball away more than anybody in football, So
doesn't mean they stink, just numbers wide. They're not good.
Now they take the biggest part of the defense is
can you take it away? They do it at the
highest level. But if there's a way to beat them,
as they are beatable on that side of the football,
if you do the one thing that they do best
(38:40):
and if you don't turn it over.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
You can think I think everyone's sleeping on the Niners
and the Niners are good.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
Well, I'm being asleep then, because Kyle Shanahan is a
perennial loser. And if you want to sit around here
and tell me, I'm gonna be scared.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Of him the payoffs they go to the championship.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
Game, Yeah, he's a permial loser. I'm never scared of
Kyle Shanahan ever. I'll never be scared of Kyle shouting
and coach team ever. Wasn't scared of my.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
I'm just saying I think that they're very good. I
think people are overlooking.
Speaker 1 (39:08):
I'm telling you, I'm on night quill asleep when they
come to town. That's how much asleep I am. You
would say people are sleeping on. You want to about
other teams being slept on? Be my guest, I am,
I am good night. I can't get a better night sleep.
And got that I might have got tent with them
coming to town. That's how confident I would be that
we beat their ass, that we whooped their ass coming
(39:28):
in here. And I say all this provido and Kyle
gets one over on me. Yeah, I've been nailing Kyle
for years. I've been pegging his ass.
Speaker 5 (39:39):
Yeah, so we know why these four guys, these four guys. No,
doesn't have to be put on the airwaves hatred.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
I know where the hatred comes from. And I'm okay
with it. I'm okay with okay with.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
It might being on their personality and a two D.
I'm not here to go on full beads.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Yeah, I wasn't gonna say.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
You can guess what I mean flying across the table.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
It's fine.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
From our from our favorite loser beat Rider Elliots for Parks.
The Eagles have eleven and forty seven yards on offense
over the last three games.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
West kind of good, Joe john.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
That's the highest total they've had over a three game
stretch this season, So playing the Raiders and Commanders probably helps.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
But still still good to shake well.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
I mean, I mean this this past game, it was good,
good win, good second half, but like Josh Johnson, as
soon as Jos Johnson came in, the game was over.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
The game's over.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
But their defense is still top up for They're still.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
I mean, they were on the field the whole second half.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
No, no, I know this. I'm saying they're trying to
bring some positivity from the drive.
Speaker 5 (40:55):
Oh yeah, no, they might have some pieces, but I
mean he's not saying good.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
It was just in the same breath he told us
how bad the Bears are the defensively they do take
it away, And you can't tell me that the Redskins
are good on defense.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Don't please, just don't do that.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
No, I don't know if the work good came out.
If it did.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Brought he said good up yea.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
That they are, I mean their front seventh season and
that's a fact, right. I mean, they have good fires
up there, but I think their secondary I don't know
what happened now. I thought they were better at back there,
but they listen, it's all their offense. You know, they
have pieces.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
Yeah, can't move, they're all You're in big trouble.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Well, yeah, we knew when they were oldest roster in
the lake. That ages the injuries, and you trade all
your draft picks away.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
You have two picks in the first seventy hundred something
like that. That's that's not that's a recipe for good.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
Six seventy hundred. I did not know that Josh Johnson
was still in the lake, so they.
Speaker 4 (41:55):
Got that one somehow. Apparently I brought him up.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
Yeah, I wouldn't know I brought you would you would?
Well if if you know, Cam Newton.
Speaker 5 (42:03):
And the rest of the talking morons would would complain
about that, you know what I mean? Like Cam, you're
worried about Philip Rivers. You could be holding the clipboard
and fucking washing it. Why don't you bitch about that? Right,
there's no reason that Josh Johnson's still in the fucking league.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
It's smacking an embarrassment.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
It's the greatest gig of all time. Yeah, Daniel.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Cam guy pulled.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
It because Cam another guy that egos that they're not
willing to have a twenty year career or yeah, yeah
clipboard thought he was good. Like listen, I mean, you're
gonna go pay me two and a half three million
dollars a year and I'm gonna walk away with career
earnings for my NFL career over two hundred and fifty
million dollars.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Right, You're gonna keep saying the check and you're Cam Newton.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
You could play for another five years as a backup
and make another twenty million dollars. Why would you not? Oh?
Speaker 5 (42:55):
Was he not? You'd rather wear funny hats. You rather
wear funny hats and fucking just blast.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
Them for your cool hat, hey, for your cool hat,
and don't dive for a fumble, and then no no
use in putting your line, your body on the line
in the biggest game of your career, of your life.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Yeah, I agreed Greg on this one.
Speaker 5 (43:14):
Yeah, I mean, I don't even forgot about Bosa, but
Freddy is amazing.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
Stirs the drink.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
I don't know how the defense still playing well, it's
mind boggling.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
Really and they I don't want to. They won the games.
Speaker 4 (43:28):
Very good coach, They've won the game that I don't
take anything away from them. But they have had a
super easy schedule this year. I mean you can say that,
but the NFC West is very tough.
Speaker 1 (43:37):
Yeah, they won the game.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
You can only play who's in front of you, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
I mean they have a last play schedule. Yes, that's agreed.
But the NFC West, though, is very tough.
Speaker 1 (43:48):
It is. You're absolutely right.
Speaker 5 (43:52):
What if you're talking about, like they're going for this guy,
don't don't somebody tell this guy doesn't have to go
for it. From there, we got to lead, Joey, don't jump.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
I didn't know they started started.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
I'm gonna say, that's all.
Speaker 5 (44:09):
That's what you're doing. Yeah, that's what Johnny was doing.
A formal special teams fucking guru. He was going, that's
what he was hoping for.
Speaker 4 (44:20):
That probably was the only thing of yesterday's game that
annoyed me the most is those times where we lined
up potentially go for it. It was like we didn't
even give it any opportunity. I don't think we didn't
even give him any scare they were standing there. It
felt like the two times.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
The one time we were going to go for it,
we waited too long. Just run the tooth push we
of course we're gonna do a little point we did.
We were too long in the toot push. Just run it.
Speaker 5 (44:48):
With those injuries, I'm with Tom, that's a that's a
that's it. Don't even turn on the don't even turn on.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
The alarm clock. That's that's a snooze fan. That's a
role job.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
Coming.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
Eagles play today. I'll be like they play.
Speaker 1 (45:03):
There have no idea. The rans a bunch of I.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Can't walk, I can't.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
We have to lose to the.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
You're scared of everything.
Speaker 2 (45:16):
I mean, I'm not scared.
Speaker 3 (45:17):
I'm not scared of the Knights, but the Knives are tough,
and I think that's who we're gonna plays. What that's
what it seems like to me.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Tough hell, Like I mean.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
They're they're eleving there eleven.
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Four okay, but like tough hell though, Like what scares
you mean?
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Walkody?
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Watch everybody play everybody and they run the ball the
rest of the lake. What what do they do that
scares you? Clown tea, keep jumping.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Both games. Both games we've lost soundly this year. We
got round all over.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
Like, if you're scared of the Niners and they're keeping
you up at night, baby just caught them out. Just
get out of it, That's why. But I would say,
I would say, just remove yourself from the playoffs then,
like you have no expectations.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
Then I'm just scared of not.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
You're an idiot. I'm scared of the not.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
I die on the fucking Kyle Hill.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
I will die on the Kyle Shanahan Hill that he'll
never win the ship. And I ain't scared of anything.
He can bring in the fucking eighty five bears. He
can bring in the eighty five Bears in and I'm
gonna say we'll put out forty, you know, I mean,
we're gonna put out forty. Watch out, Fridge, because I'm
not scared of ship. He's a part of I'm sorry.
(46:42):
Sometimes guys just get jobs because of Daddy.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
I mean. And I'll die on that one too.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
No, I'm on the Mike. Mike didn't win shit either.
Mike didn't win shit either, So well, you know what
I mean, her father like son. I mean, here's just
a fucking crust of niners in the Shantane family. And
I think they're, you know, both great coach. But I'm
just here tor, and I.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Think Mike one too.
Speaker 3 (47:02):
That.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
I mean, I didn't want to.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
I was saying that.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
As I was saying it, I wish I had an
internal way because as I was saying that, I said
to myself, I think, I think you want to. I
want to.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
Attacked. I felt like you were up real close here.
Speaker 5 (47:24):
And then Wilson was getting attacked and I wasn't gonna
say anything, but I had to, and I said, I said.
Speaker 1 (47:38):
And let me tell you this.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
Let me tell you this. He got.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
We can okay, Mike won a little bit, but he
got That's why I got the job. Because Mike won
a little bit, he was able to get him a job.
He's not gonna win. Ship. When you're a part of
that kind of loss, it never leaves you. It never
can never leave you ever.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Fust it's a terrible stink man. He didn't run the ball.
Oh yeah, run the ball a few times. Yeah, put
in the belly. Put in the belly a few times.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
And I Tuck tell me he's the greatest fucking coach.
Like it was you know what I mean, Vince Lombardi.
He invented the game, like Kyle Shenny invented the game
of football. That's what it felt like. It felt like
for a good decade that I was getting pushed down
my throat to Kyle invented football. It's Vince lambart Ras
coach of all time. I didn't even know he had
(48:29):
a dad named Mike who won two balls.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Had no clue.
Speaker 7 (48:33):
Oh, he didn't even know he had a dad, dad, Hey,
pop with.
Speaker 2 (48:44):
The milk, let's cigarette run never came home.
Speaker 5 (48:49):
But listen, I know whether it was you know whether
it was, whether it was nepotism or not.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
He did come from the little FRep we tree.
Speaker 5 (49:00):
That was one, right, little frat boy tree, him McVeigh,
all fucking touching each other's balls, the nerd in Miami.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
Yah, he is.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
I don't even know his fucking nate because he's a
fucking loser.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
He's irrelevant to me.
Speaker 5 (49:18):
Fucking nerd right with all those guys, all those little
frat boys, and they're little bit fell out of the
frat boy tree, right, just fucking finger fucking each other.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
And that's how he got absolutely I agree with Yes,
absolutely with that games.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
Ship they the team back up together, maybe they could
win something.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
Nothing, Yeah, there's nothing. I like that. Keeps playing the
cold game, though, there's nothing better than when the Dolphins
playing the cold game, like like last week in Pittsburgh.
He always like, we're not scared of the cold, getting
the cold, and then when the cameras on him at
the game, he's the coldest person on earthros his his sucking,
(50:14):
his glasses are funned up, like you gotta do something,
you gotta do something, like what did he drop that?
Speaker 2 (50:21):
I think so? I think I confused. I don't know
what the he had it? He fell down. I mean
there's a lot of contact the cross running, the cross run,
excuse me, the clock. He's he's paralyzed.
Speaker 1 (50:40):
Where's Bill I mean he's getting he's getting harassed.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Yes, he is absolutely getting mugged. He ran his mayor
of Kingston ship right.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
Bill Clinton? That the Bill Clinton move? How he drop
the ball?
Speaker 2 (50:59):
He's down? This guy's he tackled them ball. That's incredible
and he just running the clock.
Speaker 3 (51:15):
Look at this guy.
Speaker 4 (51:15):
Look at it.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
The guys catch the ball.
Speaker 8 (51:19):
Dude agree, but it's absolute mugging, Like you have the
ball you have it twice before the ball clock and
then well.
Speaker 5 (51:29):
Okay, so now you at least have to fix the clock.
You guys missed everything the podcast to go.
Speaker 1 (51:40):
Oh yeah, boy I did.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
I got it all mute because we're doing that. Yeah,
I don't know what Terry saying.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
You said you should, Yerry McCauley, what are you telling me,
Terry love Mike, he said you, I love it.
Speaker 3 (52:01):
Well, you see you see he looked like he was
looking back to the ball there so ill that a foul.
Speaker 1 (52:05):
Yeah, he fell down so sort of drunk him down.
Oh my god, Jesus just blinded me. Was that was
that sta fawn?
Speaker 2 (52:15):
No, it was.
Speaker 5 (52:18):
Booty, Booty catch the fucking ball.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
You had it, booty cotton balls thinking deeper. Here he's going.
Speaker 1 (52:31):
Looking great, love break the first guy, great, first guy,

up there and they're all like shirtless, like it doesn't
I mean, yeah, tried pumping.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Yeah, was it two years ago.
Speaker 5 (53:04):
I was like, oh, yeah, Kansas City looks like they're
fucking sputtering oil.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
I can't wait to go there.
Speaker 5 (53:08):
I went outside with a fucking half shirt on, did
a fucking over light video, and he like lost forty.
Speaker 3 (53:14):
Enough, never even gone off.
Speaker 2 (53:21):
The plane was flushing gang signs, and he was fine.
Speaker 5 (53:24):
He was just he was fucking perfectly normal and an extension. Yeah, yep,
and he just got there.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
That's great. He gambled that one in there.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
Let me see a little squeeze. I'm late as usually wind.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yeah, holy window, Batman, party window, I'll tell you that.
But he jumped out.
Speaker 5 (53:48):
I mean, this guy went totally.
Speaker 3 (53:51):
Has five kids on the way, literally mind blowing.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
That happened.
Speaker 1 (53:58):
It's five females pregnant. No, I know how that happened.
I took I took those classes, took a clans in school.
One of them is Cardi B. Cardi B is one
of them.
Speaker 3 (54:12):
Yeah, well they're dating, you know, Yeah, how does you
feel about the other four?
Speaker 2 (54:18):
I was just an accident. I slipped my Yeah, it was.
Speaker 1 (54:21):
For you, so before you, before I met you, made.
Speaker 2 (54:26):
Yeah, for you a hell of.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
It all season.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
Sixty five million sixty two million dollars, you and four
kids sixty two million.
Speaker 3 (54:41):
He's gonna be like fucking twelve million.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
Of here's fine for you.
Speaker 3 (54:44):
Maybe he just handed out millions.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
His rookie fucking shadow.
Speaker 5 (54:50):
He probably shadowed Chrimarty as a rookie.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
Is that Stevenson? Yes, there's my twenty is rushing yard Wilson.
Speaker 5 (55:01):
I'm telling you, buddy, they're gonna they're gonna take out

If not, I'm going to fucking head quarters.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
I'm going to head quarters.
Speaker 3 (55:11):
They both they both got hurt in the first half
for sure.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
So that was the other one. I mean one more.
Speaker 4 (55:18):
Oh lamar lamar went, Yeah, had to come out.
Speaker 2 (55:21):
Yep, Andrews, they're.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
Out in the first half. DraftKings removes them from beat.
Speaker 5 (55:25):
If Andrews has a catch here hard rock bet doesn't
Andrews has a catcher, Wilse, we got.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
We got to all of them.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
Only do first quarter. Draftings does first half, which is cool. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:37):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (55:38):
One of my my chances of fantasy.
Speaker 4 (55:41):
Though one catch from Mark one of my O and
sixteen on Thanksgiving was Amen ra forty forty yards with
the with somebody else who hit it. I think it
was Pickings and they didn't give it to me because
Amaldi and I.
Speaker 3 (55:54):
Was gonna say he got hurt right in the beginning
of the game. Yeah, yeah, there's maybe maybe a hole
there in fifty eight, but we don't care.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
Not a Paul problem, not my problem.
Speaker 3 (56:05):
No, it was great. As I've seen Dave's last night,
Tom and you know he's he should have seen him.
He was winding all game trying to rooting against the Eagles.
I said, it's really a shame that your your Chiefs
fandom has led you to that, that you're so low
right now that you're just rooting against Eagles against the Commanders, Like,
there's no shot we lose this game, dude, Like open said,
(56:27):
there's no shot we lose this game. There's no shot.
Speaker 1 (56:29):
Yeah, this is Worth's taking you to the belt the
ass in the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
It's going to live with you.
Speaker 3 (56:36):
You know what I said, We ruined you.
Speaker 2 (56:38):
Yeah, we broke you.
Speaker 3 (56:39):
We broke We've done ruined.
Speaker 1 (56:41):
Everybody has one everybody has that one team that will
get you and is it for you?
Speaker 2 (56:46):
Tomorrow, Greg, I mean against the wall.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (56:52):
I don't know about the Colts tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
I know you're.
Speaker 1 (57:00):
Aut football.
Speaker 3 (57:03):
Can't throw the ball?
Speaker 1 (57:05):
He enough now.
Speaker 3 (57:09):
If if, if the Bengals run station, he's.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
Away from Yeah. No, he's definitely one sack away from dying.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
But I mean great story if you can win a game.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
I mean great story.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
If you can get a dumb against the greatest team
ever and go the ball.
Speaker 3 (57:26):
It's gonna I'll tell you what I mentioned. The game
is like two hours and twenty minutes because both teams
are gonna run the ball tome.
Speaker 1 (57:33):
The NFL won't allow it. We'll begin seventy five commercials. Hey,
we're gonna take commercial mid drive.
Speaker 3 (57:41):
I don't know what game. What game was I watched yesterday?
We're fifty cent? Like had the concert in between the
third and fourth quarter? What was that?
Speaker 4 (57:47):
Oklahoma? Oklahoma Alabama?
Speaker 3 (57:50):
Weird. It's a weird time to have a song between
third and fourth I thought.
Speaker 4 (57:54):
Apparently apparently down there they do like walking out.
Speaker 5 (57:59):
Yeah, Will will let him do what he wants. You see,
he's coming for Lebron. Now if you get on his bedside.
I don't say ship about fifty cents. Heals for everybody.
He comes for your fucking head. I will Curtis Curtis,
love you Curtis, and but he's coming for Lebron.
Speaker 9 (58:18):
Listen, he said Basketball, I'm coming, Netflix Specials coming pegged
bagged by a fucking Mamo.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
Greatest he got pegged and did about that up.
Speaker 3 (58:39):
Maybe the greatest, like the greatest movie. The greatest hater
moving history is him buying the First Three Roads pegged
by Diddy about that story. Yeah, yeah, yeah, bought the
road Rule concert so no one would be in the
first Three Roads?
Speaker 2 (58:58):
Who did that? I just been at it for a
long time to.
Speaker 5 (59:02):
Guy's the most spiteful dude on the planet.
Speaker 2 (59:07):
Yeah, I know, even as.
Speaker 1 (59:10):
Address he's I mean, he always throws it.
Speaker 3 (59:14):
You know, throw a promo in for whatever. He'll love
a video where he calls somebody a piece of ships
come back and they'll be like Fosniac.
Speaker 2 (59:30):
Out and we lose the poor lane because the mark
of a bitch.
Speaker 5 (59:37):
Wait got the Patriots money line for a fucking for
a goosele.
Speaker 1 (59:45):
Somebody had somebody over here had had Green Bay money
line only ten bucks, but het out forty forty five.
But I think well Green Bay, I mean Pittsburgh money
line at pitt money line. Oh birth lines. Oh nice,
yeah you go, let me dis lines.
Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
The lost back to back games is twenty twenty one something.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Tell you what.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Rogers just looked good the last few weeks, Kenny Wolf
and playing. He was playing great, you're the best receiver.
Speaker 5 (01:00:11):
And that was something by hand with d K punching
that fan though, yeah he did.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
He definitely, I.
Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
Kind of, I kind of loved it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
But he said, just a fine, Domy.
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
There's a couple bucks to him. I mean that's a
one hundred thousand cold. I mean I would have fell
over the fucking round.
Speaker 10 (01:00:33):
You know, a fucking over team comes blue blue Wiggs
ends up in the fucking fourth row.
Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Absolutely, yeah, for sure, the blue wig ends up on
fucking like you woult to believe.
Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
They would have had to have the ambulance.
Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
I would have never moved, remember what he said, looks paralyzed.
Speaker 3 (01:01:01):
Yeah, top down, looks paralyzed.
Speaker 1 (01:01:05):
Would have never walked again. I mean they would have been
wheel tearing my ass around when I could walk down
away fine and be liked, be like Ricky.
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
Bobby got a morning feel Oh you got a minute
forty three to write the ship here, buddy. If you're
gonna lose deal, you're gonna lose that deal you get.
You gave out the lock of the year with the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
I think I think, first off, he'll just deleted from
the post because he had earlier the post it said
start with Denver and they also lost, and then he
removed out from the post. Doesn't say Denver on anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
I didn't know this was going on.
Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
Oh my little bake news.
Speaker 5 (01:01:41):
Wow, it's not mentioning Brian too. I mean, he reluctantly
he walked away. He had a career to get to.
It's not mentioning Wilson your post.
Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
Listen. I still I still gamble a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
Were born again christ Nobody he don like he He
revitalized himself last week.
Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
You know. I mean, you know a.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Team that I really like Watson right now.
Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
But I might be.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
The is the is the Texans. I might be out
of the Texans. I really like the Texans. But first
and goal from the one today and we're running play
action and we're throwing a Dulton Schultz. When I was
Nick Nick Chubb touchdown the way from over two grand today,
can we give him at least one carry at the
one can we give him the ball once? Yeah, cocksuckers.
(01:02:33):
I even had Trevor Lawrence in that thing to fucking
sniff out that Trevor Lawrence touchdown today. By the way,
Liam coach Liam Cones obviously a good coach because it
looks like Tampa, looks like Ship and they were great
last year when he was there.
Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
And and.
Speaker 3 (01:02:51):
Trevor Larrence playing lights out football.
Speaker 4 (01:02:54):
Elis in Carolina.
Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
Looks great, you know, I mean, he's usually he is
usually in those memes. He was. He was in a
meme every week. You know, you know, number.
Speaker 5 (01:03:08):
Were all pick but he you know, so you understand
the hatred and the disappointment, but he looks great.
Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
Yeah, I mean they're playing good ball.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
Sometimes you need the right coordinator.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
They I mean they went in and went they whacked
uh Denver today in Denver.
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Once.
Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
It's one thing if that's here, you know what I
mean in Florida, But when you go in Denver with
that defense, Yeah, that's a really good win.
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
And the last game they lost, I think they were
beating Houston by twenty and they lost. Yeah, they're tough.
They're a tough team. That one dude always making plays. Dude,
Parker Washington always just made Penn State.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
He's just a little slow. He couldn't give any ends.
Speaker 5 (01:03:49):
Well, he scored once, I think, but he broke like
a fifty yarder and he got caught.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
He got caught like three different times, went around. Ye
I was, oh, I'm just just running, just run, kept
looking behind him. Oh ship, But yeah, that was uh.
I mean I came last night was wild. I think
(01:04:16):
me and Sweets were watching the end of it together.
I barely remember it. A lot of tequila.
Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
Yeah, you were. You were doing well for yourself.
Speaker 5 (01:04:26):
He probably didn't tell you about the uber before he
got the actual uber.
Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
When you were talking about.
Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
That Greg, you got that guy.
Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
That guy is a pile of ship.
Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
You don't want to work.
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
As the former uber guy. This dude came from fourteen
minutes away, right, and not to mention he he parked
across the street.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
He didn't even come like to the bar, and he
peeled away.
Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
Dude, he literally waited fifteen seconds and I was like
saying good by his troops and walking and I was like, oh,
that must be him over there, right, He peeled wheels out.
Speaker 2 (01:05:00):
It looked at it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Drove like twelve minutes to me, like what, what's what's happening.
Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
That's the worst because it took you forever to get there,
Like why would why would Rod?
Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Yeah, alright, just one more?
Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Oh yeah, I wasn't sure.
Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
Dude just pulled the fuck away.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
If I'm driving that Florida get to you, I'm gonna
make sure I pick you up.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
It's crazy move, crazy move it was, I mean, uber
is it's it's ridiculous. It's too expensive. Dudes are just dues,
are just peel wheels. I'm driving away.
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
The other guy was that I was with.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
Was driving extremely fast, which cool. Listen he got me
there fine. Possible nervous in the car. Yeah, yeah, it
was a dude like forty seven on a twenty five,
Like it's twenty five. Let's let's relax here, I'm drunk
and I can tell you you're going too fast.
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
They definitely cut down on a lot of their h
a lot of their checks and bounces that they used
to have.
Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Because they need drivers.
Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
And no one's trying to get you back there, trying
to recruit you back.
Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
No, not even a little bit.
Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
We had some allegations, uber creep allegations.
Speaker 5 (01:06:23):
That's the difference in the in the generation. So you
see that they Flowers smiling talking all his buddies on
the Patriots. How are you not the first guy in
the locker room?
Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Yeah? Yeah, you just put it on the floor. Bro,
you just put it on the floor. You ended the game.
Be the first guy in the locker room. All right,
call you guys tomorrow. Man, you know we can well,
you know we can pray to God tomorrow. You know
what I mean. Like I got to be the person
in the lock I can't. I can't. I mean, I can't. Well, man,
you're smiling and laughing. Now you guys are seven and eight.
Speaker 4 (01:06:56):
Pretty much done and out of it should be.
Speaker 3 (01:06:59):
I mean, I guess they're not fifty done because I
think Pittsburgh has two tough games and one of them
is the Ravens.
Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
Yeah, isn't that Week eighteenth?
Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
They have last game of the year. Yeah, But I
think and I think Pittsburgh plays somebody else like well,
I mean, they won at Detroit today, which was a
tough game, but I think they have another decently tough
and I.
Speaker 5 (01:07:18):
Guess did they not have the tiebreaker because they're what
are they nine and six?
Speaker 4 (01:07:22):
They're nine and six, and then.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
The Ravens are seven and eight.
Speaker 4 (01:07:25):
So another winning season for Mike tom Win, you believe
that you should say yes.
Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:07:33):
Season playoff game in like over a decade, though they
might win one this year.
Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Steeler fans won him fired forever. But all the dude
does is win. It's true they might.
Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
Regular season games.
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
Hasn't won a playoff game in over a decade. They
might win one this year. They might, though, I feel
like he's way tougher, Like who's the best team in
the NFC? I feel I think I think Denver is
(01:08:09):
too young too, Tommy England.
Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Where they're seated. It gives you that illusion, and I'm
not saying you're wrong.
Speaker 5 (01:08:16):
NFC is definitely tougher. But then like the Denver like,
nobody's scared of Denver. You know, as you can see
you can come in there and punch them in the mouth.
Today people people, people are not scared of Jacksonville. Maybe
they are now, but they're they're they're hot as a pistol.
Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
I might be the most from Houston.
Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
Good, you know, Like, but when you get in the
wall cards you know, like you're looking at the Chargers
and Bills are are pretty dangerous.
Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
Yeah, I was. I mean, I think the building is
still the toughest team and its defense nasty. Bills are.
Bills are the toughest team. And I don't care where
they're seated.
Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
Now, you're spot on. I mean, they're they're they're tough
until they're out right.
Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
So yeah, but I.
Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
Mean even as we look forward to them, they're not complete,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
You can't run all over them. They've had bad losses too.
Speaker 1 (01:09:16):
They've had really bad losses. You know which had one today.
Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
I mean they lost, they lost, They looked awful and
lost to Atlanta. They looked awful and lost to Carolina.
Speaker 4 (01:09:23):
Right, yep, as good as Josh in. They have some
you said they have some horrendous losses on their schedule
this year.
Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
Oh, some stinkers. And they didn't play good today. If
you had Josh and Fantasy playoffs today probably probably now.
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
Uh yeah, I had them in the seventh place game.
Six points in the seventh place game. So not not
happy about.
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
Right now. Denver's won New England's two, Jacksonville three, Pittsburgh four, Chargers,
Buffalo Houston five six seven. Yeah, I I mean Houston
would be a tough game for the two seed to play. First.
Speaker 5 (01:10:03):
Really good Patriots are really good because they're coach well,
they play good defense. Yeah, and you know they can
run the football. And Henderson if he's I don't know
how bad injury is, but he's expressed he's explosive. No,
I think it was his I thought it was his leg,
buddy want to get up, and it looked like.
Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
His knee was I thought that was because he slammed
his head and he couldn't. He was wobbling. But it
might be like yeah, yeah, yeah, who knows. You guys
will find out tomorrow once it comes out.
Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
Greg, give me the under in that game tomorrow. Oh,
I did say I think it's gonna be a lot
of running, a lot of defense.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
Well, yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
Got I think I had Party in one league, so
I kind of need a little bet.
Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
I would mind. I wouldn't mind Juwan Jennings having.
Speaker 5 (01:10:54):
A good game five and a half, forty six.
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
I like Juwan Jennings for at anytime t D.
Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
I feel like Party just loves him.
Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
So he yeah, that's like that's the guy he goes
to yeah, and and and I mean I'm assuming that
Jonathan Taylor will score because yeah, thirty fucking carries. Yeah,
Patriots are definitely good for sure. Oh, three hundred yard
(01:11:24):
passing game for Drake.
Speaker 5 (01:11:26):
May That was that what I said.
Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
Forty seven Yeah, forty seven straight games without three hundred
yard pastor for the Patriots, broke.
Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Wow. As good as he's been, he hadn't had a
three biller yet.
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
No, wow.
Speaker 8 (01:11:44):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
I was fifty years old when I learned that. I
was today old when I learned that. Oh, Tom, we
are you, buddy, I can't hear you.
Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Let mute with my Michael come back to us, come
back to us. That might I mute my mic and
it's not muted on my screen, so I think it's
good to go. And obviously it was not there. But yeah,
the figure he would add one. Figure, he would add
one in some temper October in a warm weather game.
You know, we just spun around for three.
Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
I mean I figured he played the Miami at some
point this year.
Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Yeah, I love the jobs.
Speaker 5 (01:12:21):
Yeah that was.
Speaker 3 (01:12:28):
I watched throw to the fucking thirty six open guys today.
Speaker 4 (01:12:33):
I did started this week.
Speaker 3 (01:12:35):
Yeah, me too, Greg, I was nervous after benching Stafford,
after Stafford came out and said I got it, I
got it, and he was.
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
He was cramped in the beginning. It was all second half.
Speaker 3 (01:12:46):
It was great when yours couldn't move the ball, so
they were on the field the whole.
Speaker 4 (01:12:52):
Second half and then turned it over a bunch.
Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
I had Chase Brown in my dst.
Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
That's what I'm saying. Every move they make is the worst,
like they would whether.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
He was in.
Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
I don't give reve.
Speaker 5 (01:13:05):
He's a fucking forty seventh round pick as a favor
to somebody's fucking uncle.
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Ers couldn't play.
Speaker 5 (01:13:12):
He couldn't play dead at Texas, all right, They told
you you can play in the NFL. H.
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
He couldn't play dead at Texas.
Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
I mean, right now, you see this it up, all right.
Speaker 5 (01:13:23):
I put on a fucking half shirt so you can
see the fucking bowl of sugar, nice prep bowl of sugar,
right and I will sling the piggy better than fucking
Quinn yours.
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
Whatever do.
Speaker 3 (01:13:34):
I just love how I think what's called. Wilson's been
the number two all season, and then Viewers was the three,
and then just I was starting yours.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
Do you hear them trying to explain why.
Speaker 3 (01:13:44):
Zach Wilson, now we know you're not good.
Speaker 4 (01:13:48):
Yeah, they said it was because obviously zach' stuck could
be around next year. You signed a one year deal
and so we'll leave you to the number two because
we we want to see what we got in Quinn,
because you're gonna be around.
Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
Well, how do you know a guy's not gonna be around? Okay,
I understand how contracts work. At the end of the day,
if I'm a smart, offensive guy, I always feel like
I can get the most out of a guy. We
just talking about how important, like good offensive minds are
the quarterbacks, right, were talking about this just so happens
(01:14:22):
at the starter of Miami has CTA at such a
young age, Right, so I'm sure he's not processing great,
hence the million turnovers.
Speaker 2 (01:14:29):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
So you have a guy, regardless of if he deserved
to be drafted where he was drafted at.
Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
But the guy who's drafted I was with the Jets,
so never never started anywhere else with the New York Jets.
And we know how that franchise has been. And I'm
not clamboring for Wilson I'm just saying, a warm weather
place probably a good place for acket, right in some
common sense here, a little bit of common sens, like, oh,
we got a year after on his deal, he ends
up after this year, Well, let me go see if
(01:14:56):
you can play. Because the rookie isn't going anywhere, you're
fucking more, and he's a seventh round pick command to
a first round pick. How about I might just take
my chances that maybe I can revitalize a kid's career
that was never never vitalized.
Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
But they might.
Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
It might also be they just want to lose the
rest of the games.
Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
Well that's smarter to say that, you know that thing.
Speaker 3 (01:15:16):
They could say that, but I can't.
Speaker 4 (01:15:17):
I wish they I wish they could, right, Like I
wish teams like like the Commanders, like why why are
you even playing?
Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
I'm not even playing? But like what do we do?
Speaker 4 (01:15:24):
Why? Why?
Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
Why is this even a gate? It's just I think
the kid. I never thought the kid was like as
bad as he was in New York. I never thought
he was a first round pick.
Speaker 3 (01:15:33):
Right, everyone's terrible in New York.
Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
Yeah, yeah, but I never I thought he was more
third round pick project Yeah right, But I never thought
he was as bad as he was in New York.
And I think that what everybody goes at Sam wasn't
as bad as he was in New York.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Course, because everything they do is stupid.
Speaker 5 (01:15:49):
All right, So you're one hundred percent right, all right,
well you know whether you know uh he.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
Said, I know, work right. But the point is, like
the starting guy came out of the womb. He sucked,
all right.
Speaker 5 (01:16:02):
I don't care about how many hits he took. I
don't care if he needs a guardian helmet. He's stunk
at birst All. The people that thought he was good,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry they came to fruition.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
Okay, because all you saw for one year was ten.
Speaker 5 (01:16:17):
Yard digging dunks in an absolute little gadget league. And
he threw it to a guy another guy that had
fifteen kids, and there was electric and he would take
it seventy and that's where he got the stats from.
Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
So anybody that watched the kid play.
Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
Yeah, the.
Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
People that think they know football are like, he's so actorate,
he's so actorate. He throws the ball five yards. I mean,
you can pin the tail and a donkey and throw
the ball five yards.
Speaker 5 (01:16:45):
He can't throw a ball, daffy, he can't throw the
ball fifteen yards the fuck out of here.
Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
He's so racturate. Stinks. Stinks.
Speaker 5 (01:16:54):
Send it on draft night at the point you give
the guy that Tobacco who's been sitting there all year,
an opportunity to play last three games. Not a tomato
can from hook him horns that doesn't even belong in
the league.
Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
One thing Wilson can do. He can run around and
he can fuck wilfs.
Speaker 5 (01:17:11):
I mean, that's the guy I want leading my offense.
That's the guy I want in the huddle, right, the
guy that's pointing out, hey, let's go fucking looking for women.
Let's go put the women and tell you I want
Joe Kin to my home. That's Wilson.
Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
No, but I just figured, like Mike McDaniel, Miami, perfect
place of revitalize, what if you could play in this
like or not like a perfect way, perfect show, perfect show.
Because because Mike's a good offense coordinator, he's not a
good at coach. Right, some guys aren't built to be
at coaching. Dan Quinn, you're a good defensive coordinator. We
already know you can't be at coach. We've tried this
dogging pony show. It doesn't work. Mike McDaniel, again, you're
(01:17:53):
a really good offensive mine, so you know you're gonna
you can make a lot of money being an offensive
coordinator for the next two decades. If you don't when
egos getting Bob, you could be probably be one of
the highest paid offense of coordinators of football. So like,
this is what these guys are stupid because they want
they want control of it all man. And it's like, dude,
if you're really good at something, just stay there now.
I would take the Miami job every time if it
(01:18:14):
opens up, because right, it's a it's to me, it's
a it's it should be a good job.
Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
It's in Miami, Yes, it should be a good job.
The number one thing that Scott going for him is
it's in Miami.
Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Welcome to Miami.
Speaker 1 (01:18:33):
Whether that was Internet in Sally great, Yeah, okay, do
you know anyway? Eat you know what anymore?
Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
I mean, I know the whole song. Unfortunately, I got
many things going for me, Tom fucking I might. I
think I know the words to too many songs. That's not.
Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
A lot of things going for me. But yeah, welcome
to my ad all right, little ten nine eight playing
playing some good ball.
Speaker 3 (01:19:10):
I'll tell you one thing about ten nine eight is
they are very enjoyable to watch without Mbat.
Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
Yeah, well that's true.
Speaker 3 (01:19:17):
And wouldn't wouldn't mind sending him to uh like Tvorkian.
Speaker 4 (01:19:22):
Was it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
Sixteen and eleven ten nine eight ers? Obviously you could
write down the nixt win after the little NBA Cup
ceremony and all that cuteness.
Speaker 3 (01:19:34):
I loved it, so I had big money on Friday night.
Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
It was great and VJ played awesome and VJ was
electric that night. I mean he was in the garden.
That's coming out parties for guys, right, I always look
at the garden, big game, right, that's your coming out party.
That's a that's a great opportunity to come out of me.
And he absolutely did the fileback dunk. I got wish
Castle was a wake forward. I could have he stick
as a dog, but I couldn't wait to show him the
(01:19:58):
next morning, like you know, just guys, guys so much
from the watch and he fucking dog Jen brunts and
the whole.
Speaker 3 (01:20:05):
Day he did the whole quarter, big time, whole game.
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
Yeah, owned, in my opinion, owned him so he's fun
to watch. And we know what Tyree is. I mean
Tyras is a electric tail. So I mean those two
guys just to build the build you know, your your
foundation around. Dude, it's fun man. I know I said
it last week, I said every week. I'm not trying
to be a homer about it. I think we finally
(01:20:29):
were given the right two guys. It took us a while.
We trusted that process and we got the franchise and
we got his cousin you know what I mean, or
little brother. I mean we got the franchise and enfranchise
party dues right, so we got we got both pieces
of it. I mean, I like mcka could play, so,
I mean he can't defense, but he can play well.
Speaker 4 (01:20:49):
He tries, he tries tries, but that again, that goes
that's the problem when especially when em Bead's not playing
in your role. A lot of four guard lineups, right,
you're gonna you're gonna be undersize. So as long as
the efforts there, that's all you could really ask.
Speaker 1 (01:21:05):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:21:05):
I mean, Barlow gives a great effort. I'll give him that.
Speaker 1 (01:21:08):
He's a good player man. Where he's got him though,
like how you got a guy like that who wasn't
he went and played and the like. It wasn't the
g leg. It was the the guys don't go to college.
It's it's the other part of the g leg.
Speaker 3 (01:21:22):
It's like yeah, uh yeah, whatever it's called.
Speaker 4 (01:21:26):
They just they're just in the developmental plane.
Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
It's like night like stuff like that, ignite. But either way,
they got him there, so they got lucky with him.
You know, sometimes better be lucky and good. He's young
and they get a young guy six six eighty sixty
nine that's from Ante like that and just an energy guy.
He can do a little bit of everything well, like
you don't do anything great like he does everything. Well,
you can shoot it enough, he rebounds enough. But I
(01:21:52):
think Bone, when Bone's played, he's been He's been great
rim protector.
Speaker 5 (01:21:57):
Yet, Yeah, I can only answer for myself that I
didn't think so I didn't think he was that like him,
but I didn't feel like he was that impactful with
Baylor where he stuck out like a sore thumb. All right,
So that's what I would, you know, I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:22:11):
Like I.
Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
Like John Yeah, yeah, no, absolutely, but.
Speaker 3 (01:22:15):
I didn't think he's way better than I expected.
Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
Yeah, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna act like I
thought he was gonna come in and shoot like this.
I mean, probably the only person I did shows with
talking about VJ was with Greg I definitely thought he
was the pick. I just thought you can't lose with
athleticism like that and being as young as he was,
and and the fender he was. Those qualities translate right away,
(01:22:41):
like when you can defend your.
Speaker 3 (01:22:42):
I like this too. It's also it's also balling.
Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
So I like Trey Johnson a lot. That's who I like.
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
I like the white kid from du that's not couper.
Oh yeah, he's balling, fucking Charlotte.
Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
But I believed. I believe that a couple of things
are funny. I believe in the Sixers, in this pick
a ton because I more than a lot of people.
I believe Nick Nurse. I believe in Nick Nurse. I
believe in this player development staff a lot from what
I witnessed in Toronto with what they did with guys,
And they drafted well there, so and Daryl Moore's drafted
(01:23:15):
well here, regardless of what he did else, whatever else
he's done, He's drafted pretty well. Without the third pick, right,
So knowing that I had a little bit more confidence.
And again I like Trey Johnson a ton because I
just thought the scoring translated immediately. But this was my
next guy, so I don't think like this.
Speaker 3 (01:23:34):
And I'm like, I didn't think he's gonna shoot no, no, no, no no,
that's the thing said, you gotta take him.
Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
Yeah, I thought it was I thought it was going.
Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
To be a good defender.
Speaker 1 (01:23:44):
I thought you had to wait two or three years
for this shot.
Speaker 2 (01:23:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:23:47):
But then you hear what he said day one when
he got the camp is I need to shoot better.
Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:23:54):
It just sold me on it even more. I mean
that's from Nick Nurse's mouth, So that's huge to hear.
Like you exactly, but you knew had a party. You know,
just who they fly out here, drift? Who they fly
out here? Real quick?
Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:24:08):
Who they fly out here? Who they fly out here?
They fill out one guy for well, for a couple
of guys for dramt means, but who they fly out here?
Who sat down with Tyree's Maxie at dinner? It was Vjack.
So in reality, the franchise own this pick in a
way too, So he has to sign off on what
he believes this guy is. And I think he was
getting a piece of himself here with a worker a
(01:24:29):
grinder where now Tyree's can sign on the dot of line.
I signed off on this kid too. And here's another
reason why I trusted the pick probably more, not trusted
it more, that's the wrong wording. Just thought it was
a home run. Just thought he was a home runner. Now,
I didn't think he's gonna be this good this quick.
So that's fun, that's a good time, like sixteen a game.
(01:24:50):
And I also didn't think any of us thought he
was gonna get the minutes this quick either when McCain
q some of the guys over them, and then you
talk about guys who aren't playing, like Oubra, even Watford
and then PG who didn't play a ton throughout the year,
Like you know what I mean. So you factored, you
factored at and you're like, where's he getting minutes? And
(01:25:10):
he just said from game one on it was it
was Michael Carter Williams when he finished, he finished the deal. Well,
from game one on he showed he was a ball,
you know, for the first game of the year. It
was like, oh, is this fun? To watch, So I'm
excited PG killed me on Friday.
Speaker 3 (01:25:25):
That fucker I had six was money line VJ VJ
and uh Tyrest went a steal Tyreas with three threes,
George with two threes. He only hit one. He went
one for six. Thanks Thanks PG, Thanks Ball, Thanks Ball.
Should should have won VJ with two because I think
he had three.
Speaker 5 (01:25:47):
Paul, Yeah, it's a good it was. It was a
tough draft, you know what I mean. So I agree
with Tom. I think, you know, uh, you know, we
got the guy that we needed and fits us, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
But there they're there's a lot of.
Speaker 5 (01:26:00):
Really good players in that draft, a lot of you know,
I was huge Tray Johnson guy.
Speaker 2 (01:26:06):
I think he's playing well on a place where people
go to die.
Speaker 5 (01:26:09):
You know, the Wizards are atrocious, but he's thirty nine
percent from three and which we know we can fill
it up, and you know, he's averaging double digits, so
you know, he's starting to come on his own, you know,
get thrown to the Wolves.
Speaker 3 (01:26:22):
Yeah, they've all been playing well recently, and Dylan Harper
has been playing well.
Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
The other day, well, I was back and forth to
because I was a huge doing Harper Guy.
Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
The other dude from Maryland's been playing well too, Jar
Queen Derek Queen.
Speaker 1 (01:26:37):
Isn't a big fan of Derek Queen, but the rest
of them, like I was a big fan of it.
I like, I had trouble. I had trouble believing two
white guys in the in the lottery were both gonna
be able to play like I had trouble, but come
around to it. So that was my only shot at
US Caucasians. It was just it was two loarry birds
in one draft, like okay, but they both can ball,
(01:27:01):
so you know they shut that. They shut me, and
I would agree with you.
Speaker 5 (01:27:05):
That was the same way about Queen, you know, I mean,
I think he's Queen guy. You know, skill set was there,
but I feel like, yeah, I feel he's got a
little Jack Randolph and you know it's you know, he's
gonna be He's gonna get get popped for weed like
seven times, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
Still have you know, a couple of All Stars. You
know he's gonna you.
Speaker 5 (01:27:23):
Know, yeah, he might be a six time All Star
or something like that, but problems, you know, I feel
like Queen's gonna be a little problem but and and
I didn't want Harper because I feel like he's the
guy that has to have the ball, you know, and
and I think that's what Max.
Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
He does, you know. I mean, I don't know, but
you know, I like Harper. I wasn't. I wasn't like
anti Harp.
Speaker 1 (01:27:45):
I didn't really.
Speaker 3 (01:27:45):
I didn't Bailey.
Speaker 1 (01:27:49):
No, I didn't like Bailey at all.
Speaker 2 (01:27:50):
I wasn't.
Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
I wasn't big Bailey.
Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
If I was going the Rutgers, I was going with
a pedigree guy. I was going with somebody's dad who
could play. And I'll go with Harper all of that.
But there's no way that that team stopped. And these
two guys are both suns. That's how I saw that.
I sold myself on one of the two. Can't be
that good? What's one? I don't know, you know what
I mean. That's just how I felt. Maybe they're both good.
I don't know when it's all said and done, but
(01:28:12):
that's where I landed on VJ.
Speaker 5 (01:28:16):
Like, as a coach, you gotta say to yourself, you
gotta flick your bean bag. I mean, I just had
two top five picks and we sucked.
Speaker 2 (01:28:22):
Jesus Christ, what happened?
Speaker 1 (01:28:25):
I spent a lot of money for that. Okay, yeah,
but that's.
Speaker 3 (01:28:28):
Like for you usually tough to play at the rack
when they were terrible.
Speaker 1 (01:28:33):
Yes, absolutely, Drummons John's playing very well. Drummons played great
and beat who.
Speaker 2 (01:28:46):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (01:28:47):
I mean Bury in three, very in threes.
Speaker 4 (01:28:51):
I think you want hit four the other day.
Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
Because they're fun to watch.
Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
So I think we summed that up, you know, sixteen
and eleven, which is you know.
Speaker 4 (01:29:00):
And should get another one tomorrow with uh, I think
tomorrow or Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (01:29:05):
That's that's a W so you could get you know,
you could get some dubs going here a little a
little seventeen and eleven after Tuesday. I mean did that
with out, you know, without two of your better players
and maybe even three because Ubre is a good player.
So I mean you've you've been missing guys left and right,
and you found ways to keep winning. Goes to coaching, obviously,
(01:29:28):
and it goes to Tyrese and VJ to two consistencies.
But Pg's been great with Tyrese. I've been saying that
to people, like when pg's healthy, man, he's good, he's
good for his team.
Speaker 5 (01:29:38):
He's just athletic, and that's what you know, I mean, like,
so we know he's made a class, but to your point,
like he fits more in with these guys, you know
what I mean, Like you you know the other I
don't even I don't even want to. I just don't
address somebody his name. The other dude is just it's
a fucking slunk. I just I can't even look at him.
I just feel like he brings he walks in and
he brings the life out.
Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
Of the room.
Speaker 1 (01:29:59):
It's weird. Uh, it's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:30:02):
I mean again, they've understand it's still there.
Speaker 1 (01:30:05):
Yeah, and maybe and listen, maybe I do. I do
like that, Like when he plays with Tyrese. I do
like the thing that both of them have said, like
they both they both have been pretty clear on whose
team it is and how bad they how bad they
both feel like they're not they're you know, that he's
carrying all the load and they're not out there to
help him en off, which I respect the hell out
(01:30:25):
of those guys even say that when a lot of
guys don't say shit, you know what I mean. So
I'll give them, I'll give them both the type of
cap there because you should say that and you should
care about that, because the guy has been killing it.
But like I said last Wednesday, is not many guys
in the league that are maxim money guys. Uh passed
the baton all right. You don't see it often, and
(01:30:48):
sometimes you have to because the injuries, et cetera. I
get it right, but you don't hear it. That's the
big thing here that I've noticed on why they can
be sixteen eleven and why it can be his team
is because the other guy didn't fucking fight it. Now
you can say, well, you're getting paid out of that money,
why would you fight it. There's egos and bobbed in
all these sports, right, So, knowing the injuries, knowing all
of it, both these guys said, hey, we've both been
(01:31:11):
in the faces of franchise at different times in our life,
but both the past, the baton and verbally to the
media and anybody wants to listen, have And I think
that's great to hear because that allows this process that
we're looking for to happen. It allows it and you
see it on the court too, because when they're all
playing together, they all try to get Max in the ball.
(01:31:32):
Doesn't mean Joe doesn't dig shots, doesn't mean PG does
I love PG for the fourth quarter. And I say
that because in the fourth quarter, you need a guy
who creates his own goddamn shot, is what it seem.
Struggles with they struggle with Joel in the court, or
even if it's just MAXI, they struggle to create their
own and that's where having the veteran to create his
own shot, you know, down the road here is important.
(01:31:52):
So his health is.
Speaker 5 (01:31:53):
More ever been about our money. You know, we don't
give a shit about that. So it was just like
it was. It didn't move the needle at the time
the signing for us, because we know he's gonna miss
fucking sixty games. We just felt in our boats, you
know what I mean. So, but as a player, would
take PG all day, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:32:12):
Exactly the sill set, the skill set, like like you know,
I mean, do something, yeah, like.
Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
A terrible legendary I thought he was awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:32:24):
Yeah even after it he came back something, yeah, like
he's still good after that. But with the Nally whatever
sixers color, it's like it's like its favorite player because
he can do everything, you know what I mean, Like
he's not he's one of the few guys that can
literally do it all all right. He can he can
run your offense, he can play off the perimeter, he
(01:32:45):
can d up every he can play the wing. He's,
you know, first team All defensive guy at a point
of his career, and he created his own goddamn shot.
So you don't have those guys. They don't grow on
trees around the lake, right, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (01:32:58):
So to the point, it wasn't the Clippers. I mean
we were clamoring for him.
Speaker 2 (01:33:02):
We wanted them.
Speaker 1 (01:33:04):
Yeah, would have been a great time to get him too.
But I think anything you get on the guy that
you guys don't want to name names, it's just a
win at this point because because again, if you're a
fan looking for him, you're just.
Speaker 2 (01:33:15):
Doing it wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:33:16):
You're what if you're if And I said to somebody
the other day, like, oh man, you paid a lot
of money for tickets and Bad's not playing. I said,
if you're paying the money thinking you're thinking for embiid,
you you're looking at the game wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:33:25):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
I'm paying the money for tive Reson Bjack.
Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
That's what money should be happy when he's not playing,
because we run n Ron, it's gonna be fun. They run.
Speaker 1 (01:33:33):
Well, listen, they're gonna run with Drummond, who can't get
up and down to They're gonna run with any big man,
it doesn't matter. The only big man it can really
get up and down with them is Bone, you know
what I mean. None of these guys are gonna get
up and down the court with him. That's that's not
my problem with him. My My problem with him is
is he just hasn't been himself. Uh until he started
to look better, until he got sick. Oh, he's not.
Speaker 5 (01:33:53):
He's just not a true big man, you know what
I mean, on a team, on a team that's you know,
perimeter heavy. So we we for me right now, Yeah,
we need a guy they get banging it, you know,
banging there.
Speaker 2 (01:34:05):
That's why we love drumming, you know what I mean,
Like you say what you want about.
Speaker 5 (01:34:10):
The guy rebounds. The guy's tough guy. He plays defense.
He's always brought that everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:34:15):
Hating him for years, right well because it felt like, well,
we've been on bad teams.
Speaker 3 (01:34:19):
But he's played well this.
Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
Year for sure. But guess what, he's a walking double double.
Even Barlow, like Barlow, Barlow is like a nine and seven,
a nine and six guy, like you know what I mean, Like,
that's that's great production from a guy getting twenty six minutes,
you know what I mean, twenty six minutes a night
drumming twenty one minutes. He's seven and ten almost right,
so that that's great production. Bona doesn't rebound for his size, well.
Speaker 3 (01:34:41):
That's crazy, but great size.
Speaker 1 (01:34:44):
But Jabari rebounds pretty well for his minutes, Tyrie, I
mean VJ rebounds well. I even think Jared rebounds well
for a little guy because they'll he'll box out just
trying to say PG obviously, and then you know, and
be b Knees is like six six and a half
boards in like twenty six minutes, so again he's not
(01:35:05):
even born terribly, but he doesn't get in the thick
of it, you know what I mean, you know what
I'm saying. He doesn't muck it up under there like
Drummond's gonna muck it up. He doesn't muck it up enough.
So it's always been my issue with him. That's why
you need other guys on the court that are willing
to rebound. It went in B plays it's weird, not
fast enough like and same with Drummonds sometimes but not
(01:35:28):
fast enough to get to that loose one. But Andre
does a great tip drill. Andre's great tipping out, you
know what I mean. There's not many guys who are
better at that. He does a great job of, like
the volleyball tip and back Outnis, Well, I love him. Yeah,
where listen you take it. You take it to an
Eastern Conference final, and you can come with a dress on, Andre,
(01:35:50):
you know what I mean. You rebound us to an
Eastern Conference final. You can dress up. Just not that
he wants to dress up like Dennis, but you guys know, yeah,
or Beatken. Hey Joe, play a little dress up today.
But the kids are fucking fun. And if you're not
investing in these kids and you're worried about everybody else,
that's not what this is about anymore. Anything you get
(01:36:12):
from those two guys is a win. Any production, any
minutes is a win. Right in terms of this season,
like trying to win this season stuff, it's all house money.
Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
I look at it.
Speaker 1 (01:36:26):
It's all house money. Like if you get them guys
helping the playoffs, good, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:36:31):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:36:31):
Let's go see what we can do. If you don't, okay,
let the kids get their beaks wet. The only way
you're gonna get over to hump is by these kids
getting to the dance and learning and playing in those
games and learn how to get better from them. Right,
So let's go eat. PG does look confident, endie. I
told you guys, I think you know Joelle healthy is
(01:36:52):
it can be special, right, and he can help carry it.
But I think for this basketball team long term this year,
the more important guy for the postseason healthy is Paul George.
If you had to, if I can put a fucking
gun to my head, I'm saying the guy I need
healthy out of the two is PG needs a playoff failure,
but I need him more for what he can do defensively.
Speaker 3 (01:37:16):
Playoff Paul.
Speaker 1 (01:37:17):
Yeah, well Tyree ain't no Tyreese playoff Tyrese. So let's go.
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:37:22):
Sometimes I agree with you. I agree with you. I
think if George is healthy, we're better on the court.
Like I'm not sure you can you can kind of
just put Drummond in there and get what you're getting
from embiid. Basically, so PG, we need PG healthy. Yeah,
I agree, and also shout out besides a bad third
(01:37:45):
period yesterday, the Fires been playing some.
Speaker 1 (01:37:47):
Buck watch out fires are playing.
Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Well.
Speaker 1 (01:37:54):
Well, I'll say this because he like if Doell's if
Drummonds not giving you the same product. Yeah, he can't
score like him, so that's always going to be an
X factor there and again again, if he's healthy, then
guess what we're dangerous as ship. But if he's not,
who gives a ship? That's where I'm at.
Speaker 3 (01:38:12):
Who cares if he's not, It's just what he's been
every year.
Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
So yeah, it's nothing new. So he wants to get
If he wants to get over his own hump, that's
up to him, you know what I mean. But I'm
not I'm not waiting on it because anything is just
getting these kids better. So they gotta go play and
make it.
Speaker 5 (01:38:28):
I have to see Yeah, sorry, I got it. I
just have to see it with him. Not from a
health standpoint of course, that's that's huge, of course, but
I have to see how he fits in on a
regular basis, not just once every five days, you know
what I mean, When it's load management and then I
gotta sit out for another five days, you know what
I mean. Like, if you're telling me, let me, let
(01:38:48):
me see a twenty twenty five game window, and we're
a better basketball team with him, all right, And I
know what he once was, but I'm just telling you,
and I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
Not telling you like I'm not talking to you. You're stupid.
Speaker 1 (01:39:00):
I'm safe.
Speaker 5 (01:39:01):
There's just certain times when even if a guy is
a superstar, he just doesn't fit in with a group.
And I feel like this, this might not be his
group anymore. And well we know it's not his group anymore,
but he just I don't feel like he fits in anymore.
So I'd have to see it long term to say like, yeah,
this guy's okay, but you know, you know, with the
back seat, and he's doing enough, and he's still you know,
(01:39:22):
could give you fifteen and you know, a few rebounds,
you know, because like you said, he can score more
than Drummond, you know, because Drummon's gonna lose minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:39:28):
But you know, don't you don't leave him to score
twenty eight. All right, We.
Speaker 5 (01:39:33):
Got guys, We've got guys that can fill it up.
Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
Yeah, cause he's still giving you him as a point
a minute now, right, he's not, but he's twenty, you know,
twenty six minutes twenty points, so he's pretty close to
what he like, what he's known to do, but he's
only quaited eleven goddamn games. To your point, like, there's
there's no way, there's no sample size to know if
he fits or doesn't fit. Besides what Sweep says, your
eyes tell you, ah, maybe he doesn't fit in the
fourth quarter, right, I.
Speaker 3 (01:40:01):
Think he's already eliminated. If you missed sixteen games, you
can't can't get any postseason awards. And I think it
was the sixteenth game on Friday, right, So I think
he's officially can't do anything postseason already, which is crazy. Awards, yeah,
not post he's no awards. I mean, anyway, he can't
(01:40:21):
be in any awards.
Speaker 1 (01:40:23):
Yeah, I might not win the postseason regardless, but yeah,
I mean yeah, listen, they're fun, so they are fun.
Keep being fun. We're having this is all fun, oh ship?
(01:40:44):
All right? You guys wanna get crumbs?
Speaker 3 (01:40:47):
Yeah? Mine is, uh just like you know, like with
I'm gonna say, I mean I get while they were in,
but you know, now, with how those games went yesterday
with JMU and Tulane, they're just gonna be like we're
never gonna see another They're gonna make it so tough
for the group of five school to get in, or
(01:41:09):
they're just gonna add to they're gonna make it sixteen teams.
Something's happening. Something's happening. For sure. They're gonna make sure
that Nor Dame gets in. I would have loved to
have seen.
Speaker 4 (01:41:21):
Is already getting in next year. If they're there, it's
already there's a rule or a law or whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:41:25):
Yeah, they're doing something with that. I saw that, like
if they're top twelve or some shiite and I think,
uh like they I would have loved to have seen
Vandy play Oregon. That would have been a great game.
But yeah, just for the college football playoffs. And also
I'm out on bowl games, like the bowl games that
aren't college football playoff games. I'm just out on because
(01:41:46):
I don't know who's playing. Some of the teams don't
show up. They show up, they don't show up.
Speaker 2 (01:41:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:41:50):
I'm out.
Speaker 1 (01:41:52):
Why would why would you be in any way? I
mean college football. College football did that to us. I
mean they eliminated that's what they have to go to
eighteen or twenty sixteen because the field of sixty four,
you know what I mean. I mean, they gotta do,
they gotta do whatever they gotta do to get the
bowl games back. But this has been our conversation for
over a decade. Boys. I mean you know, at least you,
(01:42:15):
me and you Wils we sat here for a decade
saying why are you not at fourteen, fifteen, sixteen seventy,
Like why are you not up into the eighteens? Like
why are you not doing it? It's more money, it's
more money.
Speaker 3 (01:42:26):
You need the bowl game just attached the ball game.
Speaker 2 (01:42:28):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (01:42:28):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (01:42:29):
That's all I gotta do because because the other bowl
games are done, they're so stupid. Now why are we
even playing them? Half team? The coaches are out, the guys,
the players are half out, half in. Ben, I'm just
gonna bet.
Speaker 5 (01:42:43):
Navy the people in the end, you know, the NCAA
or these these guys just they just think they're better
than everybody, you know what I mean. Like you could
see I told you one hundred times Division two three
and I a juco. Everybody has a better playoff than
Division one, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
What I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:42:59):
So you know, like you just you guys decided to
do what you wanted to do. Is you think you're cool,
you know what I mean. So I understand your point
and I agree with you one hundred percent. But also,
you know, one of the blue bloods, you know, gave
up twenty seven unanswered at home, right, Oklahoma, that's an embarrassment, right, So.
Speaker 2 (01:43:17):
I pulled that.
Speaker 5 (01:43:18):
I put that worse than the JMU and the Tulans
who we knew were gonna get schill acted right.
Speaker 1 (01:43:23):
They were just in.
Speaker 5 (01:43:24):
You know, from a technicality standpoint, right, you're a blue
blood you know, I thought you were cool, and you
know one of the flex you gave up twenty twenty
seven unanswered at home.
Speaker 3 (01:43:33):
Lose first off seventeen seventeen nothing at home, yep, and
is lose yes rough.
Speaker 1 (01:43:40):
Well, my crumbs, my crumbs are the people that tweeted
too early in common and too early. Game was seventeen nothing.
It was still really early in that football game, and
all the Notre Dame people and all the other people
wanted to be like see told Jababa shouldn't be in,
and I don't think Baba should have been in either.
I'm not going to sit here. It ain't my nick Saban,
Bama makes sense, my nick Saban. I'll fight scrats tooth
(01:44:01):
and nail that they deserve. Shiit it ain't it ain't
that team anymore makes sense and I know that. But
they're still damn good, all right, and they proved they're
damn good.
Speaker 3 (01:44:10):
So like that coach too, I think he's good.
Speaker 1 (01:44:12):
Coach does not act like that. Let's not act like
Notre Dame's played tougher teams in that. Like, if you
want to have the Notre Dame conversation with me, let's
not act like strength and sketcha.
Speaker 3 (01:44:21):
Lost to Miami on the field.
Speaker 1 (01:44:22):
Come on, no, you can say, yeah, come on in Miami.
Speaker 2 (01:44:27):
Should have been a Miami won.
Speaker 1 (01:44:29):
So at the end of the day, all those people
Miami won regards, do they play.
Speaker 2 (01:44:34):
One?
Speaker 1 (01:44:35):
So everybody can shut their mouth. That's my crumbs right there.
Everyone can shut their mouths. I think they know it
all on who should or shouldn't be in If you
want to give me the Jamu twain, they're supposed to
be it, so you can't argue it anymore, like you
know what I mean, that's the rule.
Speaker 3 (01:44:46):
Yeah, that's usually just one of them. But then but
the a SEC fucked up. Yep, they had that stupid
they see had that stupid like tie breaking rule that
kept Miami out of the final. If Miami is just
in the final, they would have won and they would
have got in as the A school and there would
have been no uh JM. So yeah, that's I mean,
that's all the ACC really because they had a first off.
(01:45:11):
Virginia had a loss to NC State that didn't count
as a fucking uh as a game, which is crazy,
like it count as a game but didn't count as
a conference game.
Speaker 2 (01:45:21):
Why.
Speaker 3 (01:45:21):
I don't know why, but it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:45:23):
Yeah, yeah, it's part of my crumb because everybody had
something to say. Everybody's the smartest guy in the fucking room.
Nobody has eyes to see, Like if you really want
to compare a Bama schedule that everybody else is shut
up because it's not even comparable and it's not a Bama.
It's not a Bama. Like, oh, I got my hearty on,
my my heart on for Bama. I'm six in the midnight,
we talk Bama. No, it's the facts. At SEC plays
(01:45:44):
harder schedules. Okay, so if you don't want to be
in a conference and you don't want to play by
those fucking rules, then you can miss me when you
play fucking Navy and Army and you want to play
in your big game is USC every year? You can
shut your mouth because it ain't the USC that we
grew up one. Okay, it ain't them anymore. So again,
miss me.
Speaker 2 (01:46:03):
They had the two bigger games, they lost them. That's it.
You haven't say them, that's it. It's I don't you know.
I don't. I will give you the mic, not you.
Speaker 5 (01:46:17):
I'll give you the mic and d fans, But then
instead I gotta turn the mic off because else you got.
Speaker 1 (01:46:25):
Nobody else that didn't get in. You want to give
me the other teams that didn't get in, I don't
want to hear it. Bama lost to Georgia in an
SEC title game. George is probably one of the best
teams in the country. Okay, they beat them also, guys,
you know what I mean, they also beat them, So
we take the low. We think the winning Athens like
it didn't happen. I mean, like it's hard to beat
a team twice in a year. Okay, all right, they
they got they got at in then CT title game.
(01:46:47):
But now you're gonna duck points and actually they didn't
beat them in Athens.
Speaker 2 (01:46:50):
Come on, that's a hard place to win.
Speaker 1 (01:46:53):
And I think Georgia George is the team I will
defend because I'm a Kirby smart guy, even though everybody
drives a fucking million miles an hour.
Speaker 2 (01:47:00):
But besides that, like he gets guys that need for speed.
Speaker 1 (01:47:03):
That's what he goes and gets guys want to drive
fucking fans and George, I don't know, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:47:10):
Like the caliperrya football. I mean, he gets guys ready
for the NFL.
Speaker 5 (01:47:13):
I mean thought Nick Yeah, hey, Jenxy Cat, Hey yeah, hey,
Saucer Milk.
Speaker 1 (01:47:23):
I did love that.
Speaker 4 (01:47:24):
I mean they played like ship. But I did love
the uh the Miami players in the locker room going yo,
urmial love, where are you at?
Speaker 1 (01:47:31):
Urmi love? Where you at? After they watched that was
pretty game and that I mean you got interviews of
the you know, offensive line talking about, yeah, we haven't
even watched film on them, we're not worried about that.
And they go up four and a half sacks and
the first thing the guy bans is saying, he's like,
fuck you guys, like his first like cameras on him
in the locker room. He got you guys are worried
about that. Fucking worry about that. I love that ship.
(01:47:54):
Probably not ideal to.
Speaker 5 (01:47:56):
Run your mouth what yeah, oh yeah, I mean it
was a video on the streets where he was. You know,
he was just man, he was he was kited, he
(01:48:16):
was crawling on the.
Speaker 2 (01:48:17):
Field, he was roofing.
Speaker 3 (01:48:21):
Don't worry. If he got caught with it, he would
just tell you it was. It was the guy that
picked up for Thanksgiving dinner. Remember, Yeah, Yeah, everybodys a
crack pipe with somebody else. Everyone, everyone knows that the
crack head would leave the crack and forget about it,
you know, because that wouldn't be on his mind at
all time.
Speaker 4 (01:48:38):
Little bt a little bt a in a trash can.
Speaker 1 (01:48:42):
I mean, if you if you've ever if you ever partied, okay,
if you ever partied once or twice in your life,
you know that you're not you know you're not. You're
not leaving the cocaine with somebody else. I mean you're
gonna finish that.
Speaker 2 (01:48:53):
Yeah, So.
Speaker 1 (01:48:56):
Just one O one Johnny Manziel, Johnny Manziel, school hard here.
One O one for the for the kids out there, Okay,
stay away from the expensive drugs. One and yeah and
two you're you're not gonna leave your You're not leaving
your coke or crack with a buddy's not gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:49:14):
Forget it, forgot it.
Speaker 1 (01:49:16):
Yeah, he might have his nose. He might have gotten
up his nose, for sure. It might have forgot Oh,
I sniffed that my band forgot what up there? But
he's sure as I ain't gonna leave it with a buddy.
So but I guess what good listen? Good for him?
You know, really, you know a lot of guys don't
love their program as much as he does. So you know,
(01:49:37):
I'll give him credit there, right, you know, it's also
probably probably also fun to just get the freebies that
come with it. I mean, he's kissing the coach. He's
kissing the coach after in the press. It's amazing, it's amazing,
it's amazing. Stuff guys yacked out of his mind.
Speaker 2 (01:49:55):
And then an anti.
Speaker 1 (01:49:56):
Crumb I want to give, I want to and I not.
This is gonna it is really gonna upset Greg. And
you know, but I want to give an anti crumb
to de Young. Got his son ready for interviews. I'll
tell you that much. Because that kid, that kid's good
in interviews, not great on the field, but his interviews
you could tell. You can tell he was prepped for
(01:50:17):
a while on those, because there's no they're good, like
they're good, like the way he's like, come on, that's
really your question, Like the way we would answer questions.
He started to answer questions like common sense, like you're
gonna try tovide us. That's what you want to do.
We're trying to change the culture here of losing, and
you would ask questions that divide us. No, we're not
trying to do that. And I love that because you know,
(01:50:38):
it's he's done a lot of this and a lot
of other things. But like the answer question like that
can go a long way down the road right wherever
you end up at. But I thought that, I thought,
listen that that that's prepping you good. Yeah, that's a
that's a good answer.
Speaker 5 (01:50:53):
And a ton of screen passes on film too, so
he's you know, he's done. Prus there's something great and
the scream screams games second to tour second and stretching
the field.
Speaker 1 (01:51:07):
Yeah, well he wishes he had a jailing wattle over there.
Speaker 2 (01:51:11):
Oh my goodness, Jerry, Judy and Harold and Fatty.
Speaker 1 (01:51:14):
I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:51:17):
That is good.
Speaker 1 (01:51:17):
Jed Judy sticks you admitted you well, he dropped one
in the bucket last week to him he did, he did,
and Jared dropped that from catching.
Speaker 3 (01:51:29):
That they hit on their rookies, Mason Graham playing really
well too.
Speaker 1 (01:51:34):
No, I don't like, I'm not a should to one
way or the other guy, you know what I mean.
I'm just like, if you can play, we'll find out,
you know what I mean. I'm not I'm not beating
the drum one way or the other because I don't
care enough. Gabriel, he gets a lot of he gets
a lot of heat, and some of it's not fair.
Some of it's fair, right, But just being who your
dad is, you're gonna get a lot of heat. You
played daddy ball, you played for your dad. It's tough.
Speaker 2 (01:51:54):
It's have to overcome that. And and I think he's
handled it.
Speaker 3 (01:51:59):
And yeah, I'm in Colorado, Colorado retiring as Jersey when
he went like when he went like eleven.
Speaker 1 (01:52:05):
Again, not on him though right now, not on him,
though I agree, can't turn it down.
Speaker 3 (01:52:11):
That helps the hate that.
Speaker 1 (01:52:13):
Yeah, sure, but what he should he turn it down?
Like that's my question, Like, Hey, guys, I'm gonna I'm
gonna I'm not gonna accept that, like I mean maybe yeah,
well I know you would because you're a dog.
Speaker 2 (01:52:24):
I know you you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:52:26):
But now everybody type of teammate you you you are
and you are, so it's different. It's different strokes, I
guess definitely hard core.
Speaker 2 (01:52:34):
Do you understand what you're saying? Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (01:52:35):
I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:52:38):
People are gonna take it.
Speaker 1 (01:52:39):
You know what I mean, But you just probably say,
hey for for for for to be for to do
a little Disney and a little Mickey Mouse with it.
I would in today's world, I would be like, yeah,
you know, I'm not gonna We're not gonna hang that
until I win a.
Speaker 5 (01:52:51):
Super Bowl and it's probably good for your resume and
just you know, I you know I said, I'm just
different than people. I just I could never go back
to Boulder and show my face, you know what I mean, Like,
I know people are talking about me and stuff like
there's the asshole and it's fun guys. Retired number retired
after one year. Fucking yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:53:09):
Hanging at Jackson State, you know, I mean, I thought
we're gonna hang a bangner. Hanging at Jackson State. Where
where they essentially really accomplished something together, you know, not
that not that the kid the other kid didn't, because
he did. He had an awesome year.
Speaker 3 (01:53:24):
I just want to throw it out there that if
if anyone wanted to hand a banger for tom he
would he would accept it. So I don't believe that ship.
Speaker 1 (01:53:32):
Well, no, I just said for the Mickey Mouse, for
a little Disney production. No. No, I made it very
fucking clear.
Speaker 2 (01:53:40):
I said for the Mickey.
Speaker 1 (01:53:42):
Mouse, for the production company and all that. I would say.
You know what after I went to Super Bowl that, well,
we'll circle back to it. You just said, what's two weeks?
Speaker 3 (01:53:53):
Sounds like a good.
Speaker 1 (01:53:55):
Hanging out when they called me, so he's going want
to get this over with?
Speaker 2 (01:54:00):
Be sleeping? Why out tonight?
Speaker 1 (01:54:05):
I get tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (01:54:06):
What do you want to do?
Speaker 3 (01:54:13):
You would too, so don't claimed I wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (01:54:17):
Yeah, you'd be min coating for coating that whole sideline.
I just.
Speaker 3 (01:54:24):
Absolutely like to watches.
Speaker 2 (01:54:28):
Guy, you got to.
Speaker 1 (01:54:30):
You got double watch any more crumbs Brantizer. I had
one earlier in the week and I lost it.
Speaker 4 (01:54:47):
Uh Google, Yeah, Santa comes this week, Dan, I gotta
be good for Santa.
Speaker 3 (01:54:55):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (01:54:56):
You guys are stroke by my Google at the grag
that's fun.
Speaker 2 (01:54:59):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:55:01):
Yeah, I definitely twelve team and I said, Google, Graig, Google,
you're crumb. You'll find that I got not that you guys,
like I heard it.
Speaker 5 (01:55:12):
I was gonna let the guy go twelve twelve gus
gonna let the guy survived the.
Speaker 2 (01:55:19):
End way banner.
Speaker 1 (01:55:24):
It's like a jersey. It's like a jersey hung you know, the.
Speaker 2 (01:55:26):
Ground, the long way you survived the ground?
Speaker 11 (01:55:32):
Yeah, yeah, just like I told you, just like a
bantner hung chunle goes a long way over here, you
know you guys, Uh, I think like.
Speaker 5 (01:55:45):
I said, we addressed a couple earlier just because we
got we got all. You know, we were fit to
be tied. But you know, you know Dan Quinn's at
the top.
Speaker 2 (01:55:52):
We already you know, yeah, you already addressed him. So
Dan Campbell, I mean, where's our guy? Yeah, where's our
guy at We haven't seen them all night.
Speaker 1 (01:56:06):
And you know Ben Johnson's the alpha was the alpha
male in the room there or Doggy.
Speaker 5 (01:56:13):
You know, uh listen, I guess a crumb, uh, an
easy crumb is not an easy crumb. But the cowboys
another you know, another another another. You know, I guess
you can't say a losing season yet, so performance they
can go eight eight and one, but just another another
disappointing year for Jerry and the Star.
Speaker 2 (01:56:33):
So that's three.
Speaker 5 (01:56:34):
That three week window was so awesome for you guys,
so awesome. I mean it was the area was flooded,
flooded with stars all right.
Speaker 3 (01:56:44):
There today, How are they favored today.
Speaker 1 (01:56:48):
With with there without their best events of Lineman?
Speaker 2 (01:56:51):
Real?
Speaker 1 (01:56:52):
Like that makes sense. Yeah, they're a fraud. They always
will be. The only shaving grace they have is they
have were first rats in the next two years. But
I ain't right about Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (01:57:06):
No, Well that means.
Speaker 5 (01:57:11):
Figure this pole quote right here, this pole quote, uh
says franchise shaping decisions.
Speaker 2 (01:57:18):
Loom for the Cowboys and Jerry Jones.
Speaker 5 (01:57:22):
Just the fact that that guy is making franchise shaping
decisions is all you need to know.
Speaker 2 (01:57:28):
As an eagle Gidea, thank you bicking the fuck it
up again.
Speaker 3 (01:57:37):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:57:38):
We get rid of his best defensive player for nothing.
I mean the same organization that moved herschel Walker all
right for fifteen guys.
Speaker 2 (01:57:50):
Could get it done.
Speaker 1 (01:57:53):
Yeah, that was that was the trade that changed them.
That was the trade that got up the oil money.
In that trade, there are the two things that got
him in Super Bowls. Man, the fucking guys they drafted,
and that trade is insane. Oh yeah, now if they nail,
you know, well, no, they only got one of the
picks because they really got They really traded Michael Parsons
(01:58:14):
for Kenny Clark, uh Quentin Williams and a first round pick.
If you're really looking at it, that's what it breaks
down to now, which I don't know if I do it,
but it's a whole back if you if you're trading Parsons,
that's a haul back. You are getting too damn good
d tackles And and at first I still probably don't
(01:58:36):
do it because of what he is, you know what
I mean, But you know, if you're trying to if
you're trying to get deeper, I understand.
Speaker 3 (01:58:44):
It from now looking at it now, I mean towards me.
Speaker 1 (01:58:47):
So yeah, but I won't do that to him. But yeah,
to your point, that's a win for them. If you're
looking at it right now, it's minor medicine. He'll come
right back and get forty sacks next year, like even
though we'll play halfway through the year, will be back.
Speaker 2 (01:59:00):
And I'm just listen.
Speaker 5 (01:59:01):
I've always come from the old school of I'm just
I'm spiteful. I love when these guys do this. I say,
have a seat, man, We're good, you know what I mean, Like,
just keep.
Speaker 1 (01:59:11):
Keep, just keep sitting out.
Speaker 5 (01:59:13):
Sooner or later, the competitor, you know, is gonna is
gonna want across the you know, across the line, you
know what I mean. And you know, and maybe not
in this with this generation, but I don't give in,
you know, I don't give into the bullshit to take
my ball and leave ship, you know, I mean, because
I think they did, you know, at one point throw
a truck at him. I don't know, you know, so
(01:59:34):
I just think he, you know, he didn't want to
be there, you know, definitely, Yeah, they.
Speaker 2 (01:59:41):
Weren't trying to move him.
Speaker 1 (01:59:43):
And then he got that offer and it was like,
okay to first and Kenny klark, Yeah, okay, not a
bad deal. I'm getting a good plyer back to and
I think they knew what they needed for Jerry's sake.
I hate giving him any type of predate, but you know,
we needed to get deeper. Need more players. He couldn't
couldn't win with just one guy on defense. He needs
more so with eighteen guys on the twelve Yeah, you're
(02:00:08):
twelve on the field every place.
Speaker 2 (02:00:09):
They can't stop anybody.
Speaker 1 (02:00:11):
But but it all depends on what you do with
your picks, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (02:00:15):
Catch was crazy, and I mean an accounting you know
for TV.
Speaker 5 (02:00:20):
Not only did he catch and he gets up the
warreithole to get up and get you, you know what
I mean, like the last guy on the way out.
Speaker 2 (02:00:27):
I mean, you know it's got to be Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 5 (02:00:30):
I mean, uh, there was there was a there was well,
there was a five week window when when it was
a glaze Fest you know, I mean the National Glaze Fest,
not from you, I mean, you know, just the National
Glaze Fest m v P and all this stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:00:44):
Five weeks where man, man, he found.
Speaker 5 (02:00:46):
Himself down there and listen, he's better than what he
was at these at the other you know, the other stops.
But at the end of the day, he's still the
same commercial guy, the same.
Speaker 2 (02:00:55):
Fucking guy has always been right.
Speaker 5 (02:00:57):
All the weapons were back in a monster a Monster
game today and he threw for one for Tony and
a pick and a big Elskie one and six in
the last seven, right, got no.
Speaker 1 (02:01:10):
Jack, no time.
Speaker 3 (02:01:12):
And clearly the dude that was there last year that
that had them rolling was the dude from Jacksonville, because
Jacksonville's rolling coin.
Speaker 1 (02:01:19):
Again two years ago was the Panthers guy.
Speaker 3 (02:01:22):
Canalis, you know. Yeah, and the Panthers look like they're
going to win.
Speaker 4 (02:01:26):
The South Panthers is gonna beat him that that interception
was bad, That was a tough one today.
Speaker 3 (02:01:31):
Well, Mike Evans, I get it. Mike Evans is trying
to scramble drill, but it's the way.
Speaker 1 (02:01:38):
Look when when the quarterbacks roll, when the quarterbacks moving up,
like he doesn't have time for you to go the
other way. Now, yeah, I know you just bad like
that pick. I don't put on I don't put on
on that pick. He didn't play good to that. That
pick is not that pick.
Speaker 3 (02:01:50):
Mike Evans has to keep running.
Speaker 1 (02:01:51):
Yeah, it's just.
Speaker 3 (02:01:52):
Tough, tough.
Speaker 1 (02:01:53):
But yeah, to your point like about.
Speaker 3 (02:01:55):
Tough spot the spot for it, it's just.
Speaker 1 (02:02:00):
Under Liam last year, right, Greg, And he had twenty
eight and ten on him the year before, so yeah,
he he played awesome and in his offense obviously the
two years prior, for sure. Yeah, definitely you can tell
much offensive coordinator matters, you know, forty five hundred yards
(02:02:22):
compared to I mean something for the same Aunt Challens
throwing for yeah, which is crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:02:30):
Yeah, Buk was like the talking to Town first, like
six weeks of the year. Yeah, he's really catching balls,
catch the balls.
Speaker 1 (02:02:39):
Yeah. Yeah. The only thing he's done Betters done better.
He's round the ball well this year.
Speaker 5 (02:02:47):
And that's what and that's where, and that's just where
I have a problem with the whole coordinator thing. And
I'm not saying you're wrong or anybody that throws that
narrative in there, of course, right, certain guys are geniuses
and they help guys and they click them, you know.
I mean, you know, you can't be playing well in
the beginning of the season and then then it goes
away and it's like, well, man, wish we had Liam back,
(02:03:08):
you know what I mean. Like, and I'm not saying
any of you guys are saying that, yes, Liam was there,
can else was there? I get it when he was flourishing,
But you know, he was talking to Town for five
weeks in the beginning of the year, you know what
I mean. And then and when guys were injured. Yeah,
that's what I was giving you credit for, you know,
because you know, guys were you know, guys were bagged up,
(02:03:28):
you know, and it felt like he was doing it
with just him and and Buka.
Speaker 1 (02:03:31):
You know, he's still doubt with it like the year.
Like last week, their defense let him down big time.
Like you know, it's been like a combat recently for them.
Speaker 3 (02:03:42):
Yeah, definitely has running back they used.
Speaker 1 (02:03:47):
Yeah, it's been it's been like.
Speaker 3 (02:03:51):
A c of course, Greg. But he does a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (02:03:56):
But he is a hard runner though.
Speaker 1 (02:03:57):
He runs fall and runs hard.
Speaker 2 (02:04:01):
Buck He's healthy, he's awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:04:04):
Yeah, all right, well great show boys. Yeah, oh see
you guys next Sunday. Merry Christmas everybody. Christmas Christmas, be safe,
enjoy it, have a great Yeah, and you have great.
Speaker 3 (02:04:18):
Games on Christmas.
Speaker 1 (02:04:19):
Right. It's gonna be eighty degrees down here for Christmas
to you on the hottest Christmas is on record down here.
That's wild.
Speaker 4 (02:04:26):
Yeah, just rub it in for you guys. Yeah, go
fund yourself, but don't worry. I'll be up there two
days after.
Speaker 3 (02:04:31):
So it's sposed to be forty six here so it's
not gonna be that terrible.
Speaker 1 (02:04:33):
There we go.
Speaker 5 (02:04:36):
Yeah, three games on Christmas, Cowboys of course, Commanders, Lions, Vikings, Broncos, Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (02:04:46):
Yeah, yeah, there's that's there's fast.
Speaker 1 (02:04:48):
Yeah together on Netflix.
Speaker 3 (02:04:50):
They're on Netflix and then Amazon Prime. Yeah, Netflix for
the two games during the day, Prime at night. Yeah. Yeah,
I'm sure the NBA's thrilled about the play on Christmas.
Speaker 2 (02:05:03):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (02:05:06):
Yeah, all right, great show, see guys, see you guys
next week. If there's another Bird champs, no big one
of Buffalo Game of the Week next Sunday, four o'clock Fox.
So you a little extra day this week too.
Speaker 5 (02:05:22):
Winning Week eighteen, that's congratulations to the Birds. It's a
you know, it's a division champs. That says something to
be proud of, especially you know the way it is
shaken out in the NFC East all these.
Speaker 2 (02:05:35):
Years, you know, I mean crazy, it is weird twenty years, right,
is that what it was?
Speaker 1 (02:05:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:05:40):
I think I think we were the last one before that, right, Wow,
we were last one. I think we won five straight.
Speaker 2 (02:05:46):
Couldn't don't have been That is wild?
Speaker 1 (02:05:49):
Insane? Does he make sense?
Speaker 2 (02:05:51):
You know what I mean? Does he makes sense?
Speaker 3 (02:05:53):
There's a couple, like, I think the Giants won a
couple even though even Washington won a couple in there.
Speaker 1 (02:05:58):
Yeah, yep, yeah, it's been a mixture and well mixed bag.
All right, we love you all. We're out peace.
