Players of the game. Dive into everything Eagles as well.
It's gonna be a little combo show. We're gonna be
jumping back and forth, I'm sure, but let's get no
(01:17):
more pole questions. We come back from a in between
Aennings here. For the Phillies, well I dominant win, cure
the issues and the issues? Is for the Eagles, well
I dominant win, cure the issues, cure the Eagles issues.
Agree or disagree?
Speaker 1 (01:33):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Greg? Is that not the pole?
Speaker 3 (01:36):
No, it's it's close enough.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
But well was it?
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Did I not update it? That's all me, that's all me.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, what was it suppouth to be?
Speaker 3 (01:50):
I gotta pull it.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
Up, hold onble I forgot to I did it all
through Gemini.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
I forgot to update it on the on the sheet
like a moron. But we can go with that.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
That's all three. And then it's called a strike. Well,
dominant win cure the Eagles issues or cure the issues
that you have with them or whatever we have. How
do we want to look at it? The dominant win
cure stuff Eagles giants tomorrow night. I mean I always
think dominant wins cure things. I don't care who you're playing,
so yeah, I mean I agree, Right, you go beat
(02:25):
somebody up, right and kick everybody involved. You have a
great offensive game plan, right, all that kind of stuff.
You play good defense and go take care of business
in MetLife tomorrow night. I mean, I don't know how.
That's where I'm at with it. Like I always think,
when you win, you have dominant wins and dominant performances,
(02:47):
it usually eases the people naturally, naturally, So.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I agree, Yeah, considering we haven't had a dominant game yet,
you know that you more or less own the giants, right,
or have so owned the Giants over the last I
don't even know how long it's been a while. So
(03:14):
you're essentially expecting to take care of this, right, You're
expecting to go up there and win. No, I was
also expected to win last week. But you know, see
how that works out. I think that if the offense
looks really good, where you know they're getting to the
line without ten seconds on the play clock, where you
(03:34):
can dissect a little bit, you're running a little bit
of hurry up, you're scoring with relative ease, and realistically,
you you set up the running game right, because they
haven't really been able to run the football. I want
to see a complete game more so than a dominant game,
if that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
No, it makes that makes a ton of sense, right,
I think dominant complete. Yeah, And like Murph says, I
agree with you. It's how it looks. Right. You want
to see good play calling. These want to see things
be different, h and get a clean win and doesn't
have to be you win by thirty, Like you don't
have to go, you know, burn the stadium down, right,
(04:12):
But a double digit win and it looks and it
looks like you're the better team.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, Like it's got to be an easy win, right,
It's got to be an easy win, you know, more
so than I guess a dominant one where you're just
in control of the entire game. I don't need it
to be thirty five to seven.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Right.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
The defense has been playing well that the offense was
what's been letting me down recently, right, whether it's the
play calling or not hitting on openings, or not being
able to run the football, of injuries, whatever's going on, right,
because we got like Lane's been banged up, Landon Dickerson's
out there tomorrow night. Right, Like if you can put
together a complete game with what you got going on
(04:55):
now and like na Kobe's gonna be back tomorrow, there's
a lot of factors going on. If you can completely
like go out there and take care of the Giants, well,
it makes me feel better absolutely, Right, then you get
an extra you know, extra rest going into next week.
And yeah, no, again, I don't know if domin's the
right word, but I'm looking for a complete game.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Yeah, no, absolutely, And and Ry, you know, part of
part of our struggles, especially the last couple of weeks,
is our offense has been so anemic at times that
it's left the defense out the hand, right, and our defense,
which has been elit through three four weeks, you know,
last week, got exposed because they were on the field
for the entire second half, you know, and they weren't
(05:42):
able to come up with that stop where they had
been so so good at doing through the first.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Four weeks of the season.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I mean, at the end of the day, on a
Thursday night divisional game, all I want is to win.
But the talent got between even with our injuries, the
talent disparity between the Eagles and there and the Giants
roster right now should be a dominant win.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Right. I think you both said double digit right.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
I don't need I don't need a thirty point win,
but I needed a twelve point a ten point you
know what I mean, like a comfortable ten point win,
twelve point something along those lines to where yeah, we're
not sweating the fourth quarter like we had the last
few weeks.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah. I think it's a never in doubt type game.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, I think the thing to look at somebody said
in the chat, but it's true umberto you know, an
injured and that it's Gothins linebersus. The their D line
isn't a great matchup. Yeah, so you have to dominate defensively.
You have to dominate defensively. That's how you win this game,
right because it maybe expect some pressure, maybe expect the
(06:49):
you know then to play tough on defense. Yeah, but
this is is where defense travels, right, and you shut
down a rookie quarterback. That's what That's what Thursday's about.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
The me.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
It goes show me that what I think you are,
which the top five defends in football, because if they're
top five all year, we're gonna get to where we
want to get to. I could promise you. And I
think they learned something last week. What I think they
learned is maybe listen to a two d right, you
want to go out and you want to spread around
to everybody. But the proof in the Pudding twenty five
(07:19):
twenty attempts they don't lose yep, Like holy shit, Like
what are we We're gonna try to reinvent the wheel
and swing it all around like time and place. We
can be explosive and not over throw the football. Okay,
that's not who I were building, like we did it
last year. But I think that the key to it
is is mixing up stuff. Right, Like you find it's
(07:41):
so easy to go running it on first down. Okay,
well you get nothing, then you're definitely throwing on second down.
But that's a tricky Parker. You're throwing first down, you
don get anything, Well, you're not gonna run it on
second most likely. So I think they gotta be more
not as clear and decisi to me on my couch
that I feel like you're running the football or you're
(08:02):
throwing and if I can pick it up. Guys that
are studying film and this is what their their careers are,
I would think that they would have a good idea
on stuff. And I think that's where you're seeing some
of the things you're seeing.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Yeah, Yeah, No, absolutely, Tommy, and I think Tony Romo
kind of hit on a little bit on the broadcast.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
I know everybody loves the rip on them, but the.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Eagles don't layer plays off of each other, you know
what I mean, Like you're not running the same type
of play but with a different outcome to where the
receivers are running everything, but you're running your hand the
ball off or they're running the same routes but you're
hitting X, Y and Z receiver, you know.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
So I would love to see some.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Of that, you know, to your point, Tommy, right, like
set things up right, run things off of each other
that you've done throughout the game.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Like I think it's kind of glaring in.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
A good and a bad way that that Saquon touchdown
with him and Jamle and just playing backyard football, you
know what I mean, that touchdown pass, Like that's kind
of glaring and that no one else saw something like
that except for those two guys. Kudos to those two
guys that they were able to to come back to
that and figure out what makes it work. But I
think it's kind of it kind of sums up where
(09:12):
we are right now on an offense through four weeks
or five weeks of a year, right.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Yeah, it sums it up. I mean he got playmakers.
You want to get the football too?
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Oh thanks Max.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Two of them are wide outs. I mean, I think
your tight end in terms of touchdown production is I's
feeling happy going to the locker room every week, regardless
of the catches because you go get paid off of
fifteen times. So he's good right and now. And this
is where I think it may be. I think AJ
wants to win, man. I think we know what Devonte is.
So if anybody questions that, you're just an idiot, but
(09:44):
the AJ side, AJ.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Wants to win.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
But I think AJ learned something last year too. And
his Instagram posts right like within hours after that game
ran to Super Bowl, right, say's a lot of bad
his makeup, not in negative way, but he he enjoys
the ride. He enjoys the thrill. So he said it
to us. He couldn't be clear like this, this is
(10:08):
awesome and it's the top of the mountain, But the
other top of the mountain for these guys too, is
is numbers. And so I get it. I get it,
but I can't understand frustration. If you're getting one target.
One catch. My issues if you're getting if you're getting
seven eight targets a game, scutch your mouth and go
run your routs hard. That's where I'm at with it,
because we average this out and he was averaging around
(10:30):
the same amount through four weeks.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
As he did over his career. So this one thing
is a gregious think.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
It was really one week and then the other week
they sort of forced fed him late fair okay, but
the but the targets are still there. What he did
on Sunday, he cases he costes the game. Can't strike
out there. I don't care about the home run. He
can't strike out there. But he had that, He had
that go route, the double, the double move. Yeah, and
(10:58):
he had him and he stopped right.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
So you could be mad all you want the plays.
The plays are there for you. So and that's and
that's my issue. And I think you saw something about
your quarterback. He chases down to hil Mary right, yeah,
And what's his reasoning.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
I don't know if there a fucking job. Oh my god,
you guys sh ahead of me. Yeah, oh yeah, I
just got the sweer strikeout that Harper get down to.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah, popped up first, what are we doing? Man?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Dom?
Speaker 4 (11:38):
I almost I didn't see it live, right, or you
didn't recognize it live. Uh, it wasn't until you saw
the videos come out. But I almost wonder if they
if they teach that or if they were practicing that,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
I don't know though, right because he was We're obviously
in range for him to get it.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
It wasn't like you know, the the Super Bowl, hil Mary,
where we just knew he was going to get to
the end zone.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Right. We were in range that we knew he could
at least get there Jesus.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
But I almost wonder if it's like that's something they
talk about and when they practice that is you have
two guys going up against together and if you can't
catch it works face tip it back towards the end
line or you know, towards the goal line where hopefully
either him or maybe other times it's somebody else running
behind to get that. I've seen that play work before. Yeah,
(12:34):
in other instances I've seen it work.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
It's just like I said, it just shows you and
I think this is where to go back to the
drawing board because the end of the day, all that
matters is that the head coach and the quarterback is
winning football games. Yep, they're gonna go back and do
the things they do to win football games. You'll see
it this week. If he throws over twenty eight times,
I'll be shocked. I might have to, like, you could
(13:00):
suspend me a week from my own company.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
That's what I want.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
I want to be suspended a week they throw it
twenty eight times, and the perfect week to get suspended
because we don't play it on the next Sunday, So you know,
I mean, suspend me, suspend my ass.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
What's going on? They they gave a strike to Marsh.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
They gave a strike to Marsh or something, which like
you intentionally, you intentionally walked boom And I don't know
if they they reset the timer or something or like
they didn't reset it, but like he wasn't in the
box with like eight seconds or some ship, and so
they gave him We're.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Doing this season baseball, Okay, Yeah, got it?
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Yep, So yeah, yeah, put him double. Let's go awesome now?
So too, he still in one fucking pitch. I hate
so dumb?
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Whatever, yeah, Jay, I mean he rolls out a lot
for sure. I also think it's just you know, know,
the interior of the offensive line isn't holding up. Great. Yeah,
but he's also had time, so I mean, it's any
quarterback awesome.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
That's that's a phenomenon and good job guys.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
I just can't believe the common sense.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Didn't they'll lose this game. Now you have to extend
over the team that leads Major League Baseball and come
back victories. You have to extend unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
I don't know. I I know you would have screwed
yourself defensively. I probably would have pinched hit with Baber there.
Screw yourself defensively. He gets a hit there. It's five
to one. It's a lot different from three to one.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
A little bit, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Yeah, but you've second and third, nobody out but the
ones that sucked you there, well yeah, like I agree, Like,
I don't know, it's it's so bad.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
They're so anemic right now, like that one any oh
we did was foot the ball and play right now,
Like now we're back to swinging and mission because oh
my god, they went to a bullpen, but they're bullpen snakes.
VESSI has been garbage.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yeah, I don't even know. I don't even know who
the dude was just in. That wasn't that. I don't
know who that was that was? I think so sure
I thought it was somebody different, different was it? Yeah?
It was a different left. It wasn't yet was that? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:44):
It was bad band banda.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Terrible You've got to get one there, I mean something
you extend the four one.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
You can't get something there.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
You know what happens when you leave the bases loaded
in two outs. So let's go back to the pool.
What happened here. Given the short week and the town
gap against the Giants, this game must be a dominant
four quarter effort to get the Eagles truly back on track.
And I think we're all probably gonna sit on the
same thing where we were at, which is a great.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Yeah. So just worried about it, but it was close enough.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah four quarters. I mean Ryan said it. I said,
Ryan said four quarters. Yeah. Yeah. Consistency maybe not ten penalties.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
The penalties have been so bad. Has been awful, which
is like it's you didn't see it at all last
year and it's it's just like I think the one
I forget it was if it was this week or
the week before where Davante is trying to get set
with like one second left of the clock and you
have to snap the ball because you're just not getting
(16:51):
the line in times. And there was two guys the
time this week. Yeah, so it was like fourth and
four and it goes to fourth and nine instead, right,
Like it's you just gotta clean stuff up, right, Like
you don't have to be the dominant juggernaut that you
were last year. Right, It's it's just frustrating because it
(17:11):
literally took the Eagles a calendar year to lose a game.
And it's like you still should have won. It's not
like like you didn't lose. You beat yourselves, right, you
beat yourselves. I think the Eagles are leading the league
in three and outs and I think it's not close.
Dance like forty percent or something. The next is like
twenty eight something like that Leice catch bum But yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Like just I'm like, that's how that's how behind I am.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, it's it's just like you don't have to reinvent
the wheel. Just do what you were doing before.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Right.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
If you if you get to the line, if you
you'll run some rpo stuff, get the ball out quick,
like treat a first in ten like quick slant as
like an opening run, right, Like, if you're not running
the football very well right now, and you know, hopefully
the Giants being as awful as they are against the run,
(18:11):
helps you fix that. But again, you got a banged
up offensive line and Saquon popped up on the injury
report today so or yesterday. I forget. Yeah, but he
like you gotta figure out again. It just comes back
to being a complete right, making it look like you
know what you're doing, because it hasn't. It hasn't been
like that. You have like a series year or a
(18:31):
drive there, or a quarter year or I think they
played a good half. I think they most they've played
as a good half of football. They haven't put it
together even like three quarters and then just coasted, right,
but you had a full game.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
Please, Yeah, they got away from what they did so
well last year. And again it's we're week six, right,
I don't expect them to be a juggernaut three eighteen weeks,
you know what I mean? Like, it's it's okay to
slow build. But even through probably up until uh, you
know last week in Tampa, they even though they were struggling,
they at least played complimentary football, right, like you know
(19:06):
the offense you know, uh ransom clock gave a defense
time to then go out and make plays then when
the offense needed to.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Through week three, we went out and scored the points
that we needed to get.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
Right, and they're playing complimentary in the last few weeks, naturally,
we struggled a little bit more than we did first
three weeks. They stopped doing that right. It's almost like
the Phillies through through two and a half games is
you're playing hero ball right. Everyone's trying to hit the
seven run home run with no one on base when
all we need is just hey, give me some singles,
(19:40):
Give me some singles. Am I I'm even plugged in?
Am I bad again?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Because you're getting the game behind us. Oh yeah, A
great pitch, great pitch, Ranger. And the two pitch before that.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
That too, that's the one two fastball was like bottom
of the zone.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
It could have called a strike.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
I thought, he was, Yeah, I agree, thet.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
He wrung him up on you. I don't know. Nola
threw like an O two curveball or like a one
curveball that like just clipped the bottom of the zone
and he called it before, so I thought he was
gonna call him.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Gain the pitt. Right, there's maybe the most discussing pitch ever.
Like that pitch start looked like a fastball, fastball, fastball,
fastball until it was literally maybe four feet away from
him and ran out and then ran out to the
to the corner. Greg Newsom traded to the Jaguars, So
you got a corner for corner trade and they're swapping
the seventh and a sixth round pick.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
So who did that?
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Eagles, No, Jaguars, Raiders, I think no.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Cleveland and the Jaguars Tyson Campbell thirty third pick in
twenty one draft traded to Cleveland for Greg Newsom, who
was the number twenty six pack one and if a
draft and Jaguars getting six rounder, Brown's get a.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Second coming Jackson. Jacks are looking pretty good.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Oh I just said it, Yeah, I do over going goodness.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
No, did it happen?
Speaker 1 (21:23):
No, No, he pulled it, foul films closed.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
It was course, it's course from that angle than it was.
Oh my sea crack, you're good, you're clear top six baby,
let's go, let's go.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Yeah, yeah, you know, pay pay for the pay for
the streams next year. You know, you don't need to
use the the maths streams, you know links.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
No, I'm direct TV streams is so so behind. Yeah,
that's like you know, during games on Sundays, I mute
all the group chats because yeah, I'm used to, like
they're useless to.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Me, you do I do it really because of Twitter
and yeah, I have like all my teams obviously alerts
on alerted. Yeah, my good what am I doing? Like
I found out the Phillies that are home before like
before it hits. Yeah, like two pitches prior.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
I wrought our fantasy football leagues at work, so I
have I'm attached to at least one team in all
the seven leagues, so I get all those updates. Yeah,
because ESPN, so I get all those updates like same things.
So like on Sundays, if I don't answer you, I'm
not ignoring you. I'm just my phone's all mute for
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
As you're worried about the goddamn backup tight end tomorrow College,
that's that's where you think, that's where you think this
game is won and lost. That honey, Oh my goodness,
I hope you're going up to the metal lands to
get your ass kicked tomorrow night. I hope you're gonna
take the whole family up, you know, they little guy
up there, to take him up there. I can't believe
you're raising him a Giants fan. Oh my goodness, you're
(23:05):
putting this living in the hardest South Jersey some way
you could. You're the same guy goes and watch the
fireworks show from the river on the Jersey side. That's
how close you are, bab. I mean, goodness, gracious, that's
all right. You can't win them all all spouse banged
(23:26):
up more in Kordashian than locker room either. I mean,
they're not that bang up.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
A couple of guys, No, just two guys.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Really, Yeah, this isn't like, you know, we're not going
out there with an injury report looking like looking like
a goddamn grocery list.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
I'm kind of nervous.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
It's like two guys questionable and two guys out. Yeah,
we're nervous.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
About I'm kind of nervous about na Kobe coming back
at Metlight's off a knee injury.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
I think.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
Die limited from what no, I know, I know he's
not playing a full game, but.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yeah, it doesn't doesn't feel great.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Well, this is big and had a knee issue last week.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
You know, I don't know nothing major, but again now
you're gonna met life where knee's gonna die.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Spouse, get on earlier in the show and listen to
what I said. The advantage was, babe, you know what
I mean, Like, you don't got to come on here
and tell you don't get come to the worldwid Leader
or real talk ever ever and have to say something
that we already don't know or we already didn't say.
You never do it even at the Giants fan like
we're realists. That is your matchup tomorrow. That's where you
(24:33):
maybe can go win. Now saying that he still got
a Pro Bowl and Cam jerseys. You got a whole
famer in Lane Johnson, and you got the rugby Rugby
Australian and in Jordan my Lot and Tyerstin's a starter.
It's one guy, yeah, and that's a big loss, do
not get me wrong, but it's it's one guy. I
wouldn't necessarily say this offensive line is like all banged up,
(24:54):
oh shit.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
And Brian Burns might be top five in sacks, but
he's an edge, right, so he's not gonna be.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Going Lawrence is a problem, Like I don't got and nope,
Giants they got telling me on their strengths, But how
are they scoring nomar you know? And I'm not saying
like Sean doesn't know this, but like, where are they
getting their points? Besorders? Because that Jackson Dark getting outside
the pocket and making big plays on you, that's how
(25:20):
that's how you managed to lose a football game. You're
gonna run the football on you and with General House,
that's a play action for Dark and that could be
the only way. But I can't see Vic Fangio losing
to a rookie quarterback.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
Yeah. I think the only receiver they even have healthy
right now is Bladelle Robinson because Slayton's out too, and
obviously damers towards a cl.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
And through the first few weeks of Dart he's been
heavy tight end Theo Johnson's been getting a whole bunch
of right boy catches and and and touchdowns. Right and
and exactly, Tommy right quarterback's best friend is the outlet.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Is a tight end outlet, right.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Yep? I mean, look, these Giants lost to the Saints
last week.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah, and I know we're jumping back and forth with swoop.
I don't think I thought I was pissed to you.
I'm pissing Rob Thompson. I had nothing to do with you.
I know what he said, and I know he has
a plan. Everybody's got planning. He get punched in the
mouth or your eyes tell you something different, that's it.
I have a plan every time I go out to coach.
I'm sure Ryan does too. I'm sure Great did too.
(26:27):
We all have a plan, but the missionary losers who
blow games stick to the plan and don't say he's
got another.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
One in him.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Tell Ranger you you got one more in him. We're
gonna let him get through three and act like Ranger
can't come in or isn't comfortable enough coming in with
runners On. I find that hard to believe that.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
But then and bring you said Robertson down and pull
them back up. So maybe you're learning from stuff I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
And I Golry was giving him a clean inning, naturally,
sure on a Monday morning quarterback back, because if he
did do that and he gets shout great low stay down, well,
stay down, great, stay down, it's low.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
You can look back all day. All right, it's a
great cake.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
It's the ball. Start back there. Now, I need you
make him pay for it. Max probably won't.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
M hmm. Look he's he's one of the few guys
that actually had good at bats in this series. So
I was saying that great earlier. Mm hmm, come on,
get on base, look at it back.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah, you would hope, I mean you would, you would
hope some of these Well, there's one back up, it's
what's his face?
Speaker 3 (27:45):
It's right?
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Yeah, it just needs to be good man, that's it.
You can't be a turnstop.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yeah, I mean, like, look there, their d line is
good man. You got Dexter Lawrence, you got Abdul Carter,
Brian Burns. This is this fourth guy. No, I want
to like, their defensive line is good man. You just
can't be in obvious passing situations, right, you can't be
in third and longs. You can't be in second and longs.
(28:15):
They're just gonna run you down, right, Like, you just
gotta find a way to gain something on first down.
You gotta find a way to be able to, you know,
move the football on the ground, because again, Saquon ran
all over them in that life last year. They took
him out in the fourth quarter. They're like, hey, you
have two hundred x amount of yards you want to
go for your record? He's like no, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Like look with a lot of that same defensive line, right,
everybody but Carter? Everybody Carter?
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yeah, so up forgot.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Yeah see that's wild. Actually I want it. Bengals and
Saints have a worse rushing offense than Eagles through five weeks.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
That wild.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
That was not my bingo card. No, not on my
week five or week six. Sorry, holy shit, week six, bingo.
We're six weeks in.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Yeah, we six.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Now with the quarterback and running back we have Nope, No,
we're not nope.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
Oh, let's go spin on spells tomorrow, Sammy, all right, bells,
I'll be a mad life.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
I'll be a mad life for the day tomorrow is
going for one.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
Let's go. Let's go, sam, let's go.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
The stadium is just blah? Is there last week or
last year? It was just blah. There's no there's no
h character to it at all.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
I've driven past there enough times where I'm just like,
there's there's no reason for me to want to go there.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Free tickets, Yeah, twenty rows ups.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
So oh yeah, I mean you give you give me
free style. I'm not going to pay to go up there.
I would I'd rather pay twice as much.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
To go to to go here, like you know what
I mean, Like I'm not paying to go year.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
I think watching a football game at the game maybe
one of the most overrated things in sports.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Yeah, we've talked about this.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
I would agree.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
I do like going to a game of year, but
I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
I agree with that guy going to a game of year.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
I agree with the game of year.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
I just I'm not a season ticket guy. That's awful.
I'm not saying I don't go to games or I
don't want to like September October, sign me up past that.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
I'm guc, I am guch.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
I'm good. I got no time. I did it for
the uh NFC Division A round to win over the Falcons. Yeah,
a few years back, and I mean I'm still cold.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Yeah yeah, Like, can the Eagles get a December game
down here in Tampa? Like why we gotta keep going?
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Keep saying that, keep saying.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
That, keep saying and keeps saying that they're playing in Miami,
not this upcoming year, the year after my parents. My
parents live in Fort Lauderdale.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Yeah, Fort Lauderdale, Okay, yeah, my parents are.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
So I will be flying down to Florida whatever the
hell that game is and driving to Miami because I
think it's like an hour or two.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
I forget, but yeah, that'll be money.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Go to bed pass bet, all right, you're telling me
Robinson and gonna have a huge days time for bet?
Who's ga Scatibo could have a good day. We haven't
stopped to run well, so that one worries me a
little bit.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Captain CT but.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Runs like hilarious.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Gonna be Sigma.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Oh yeah, so.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
Yeah, Brax, that's what he's saying that time.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
He's gonna be at school in the morning. M h
come on, yeah, what up? That terrible? Give me something?
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Come on, Bengals, not the Saints, Titans and Bengals even worse.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Okay, yeah, definitely even worse.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Now you're back to good parenting.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Alright, alright yourself, crumb.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
That's why I love what's like ships on us and
it's like you're a Phillies fan.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
We're the same people.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
I love the way like Philly fans like we're the
same pan bake.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Did you hear us the other night?
Speaker 2 (32:23):
So fucking good? So it probably wasn't that hard.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
No, it wasn't. But it says he does the game
every every few years from the bank account.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Let's I have to eat that the tree, Sam, especially
now Eagles, just Eagles drive up prices and everywhere you go.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Well, I mean, I'm still hurting from the divisional round
last year against the Rams.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
So seeing you driving up, why don't we drive up
the like count? When't you hit that? Like subscribe?
Speaker 4 (32:52):
Turn your bells on wherever platform you're watching on drive
that like, what's fucking out of room tonight?
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Do it for tom Ripkin? You know what I mean? Like,
do it for Tommy Ripkin. Doesn't if you ain't gonna
do it for anybody else, do it for me, my black.
My back's blown out. No, Diddy, I got like we
got bad ship on. While we're back. We can't even sick.
I don't know. I'm still fitting well we're here.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Oh god, don don don't you start with me? Don't
you start with me?
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Don I said, I don't life. They're letting him linger.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
They are.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
This is the same thing they did Game one, but
and again we go back to that ending with the
fifth inning with the bases blow it yep, second.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Or even that, Yeah, just get one, just get one.
Speaker 4 (33:46):
We look back at the Eagles on Sunday, what would
a field goal drive somewhere in that second half would
have done? You know, not only would have would have
obviously given us points to win, but it would have
given this defense a chance to breeze. And maybe we
don't even get to that point where you know, Shack's
watching for a guy on the ground, or we're giving
(34:07):
up all these penalties and stuff like that just because
we're exhausted.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
We're gainst Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Yeah, and they stole only let up twenty one points
in the game, Like come on, man, it's brutal.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
But yeah, Like coming back to what you're saying before,
I don't know where this Giant's offense gonna be able
to get the points from. Yeah, right, Like if if
you're as a knemic offensively as you have been, this
could be good old fashioned. You know those Thursday night
games and nobody ever wanted to watch those like six, three,
(34:47):
ten six type games where everyone's just miserable. Like there's
nothing else on TV right now, I can't believe I'm
watching this though, like that type of thing. Ugh. Yeah,
But and there's outside of that defensive line, the Eagles
are talented, more talented at pretty much every other position. So, yes,
(35:08):
you got you gotta find a way to win. And
then you know you're you're five and one going into
your like mini bye week. Right, you can take a
couple of days, get some of these guys healthy, take
a little bit more time in the in the in
the video room, and figure out what the hell is
going on and how to fix it.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Yeah. Do you think it is a favor by giving
us Giants on Thursday night and not somebody else?
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Yeah, they usually do.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
We usually end up playing the Giants on Thursday Night.
It's usually up there.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
It's yeah, you're going to hear sometimes too, but yeah,
you're right.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Yeah, but like they usually end up getting like last year,
it's always a divisional game at least because we got
Washington on a divisional game last year on a Thursday night.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
What up, rack gang? He says, check chat out from Kentucky,
a part of Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Brother oh kershaw, and then like you know this is
our or what we had. The first game was on
a Thursday. That doesn't really count. This game is on
a Thursday. We play on Black Friday. Yeah right, they
play on like a Saturday too.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Like that.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
The Eagles are consistently getting like short weeks somehow, right,
It's it hasn't really affected us at least like in
the last couple of years, I don't think. But that's
not easy to do, right, especially for like a defense
where you're out there for I think they played seventy
some snaps defensively last week, which is just.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
You can't keep that. You can't keep that pace out. No,
you can't because don't wear it down. They're not good
enough for that. They're good like nobody is. Job.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Yeah, Kurshal's gonna come in the seventh.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Oh coming in. I thought I thought he's responding to
the east from Kershaw, Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
I'm like, no, I saw they showed curse warming up.
But again you're three minutes behind, so you'll see that
four to six business d.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Yeah, thanks for keeping up with us.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
You want me to send you my YouTube TV logins,
you can watch the game in real time or what
you ain't lying.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
That's how banded DirecTV streams.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
I mean, that's how I feel. That's how I feel
sometimes where on money, even.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Throughout the house, it's different, Like my feed is different
from the living room versus the bedroom.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
That's crazy. That was that was at work Monday because
the game is at six and I was like I
was listening to I had like my my radio there
or like uh my speaker, and instead of me trying
to just kill my phone battery with YouTube TV on
my phone, I'm like, oh, I'll just listen to the
Audissey app to listen to w I P. And I
was like, and I was, no, it was it was
still there. It was like two minutes behind. I'm like, yeah, yeah,
(38:04):
because like one of my kids dads who was there
for the lessons, just like oh yeah, like that happened
like a minute ago, Like you're so far behind. I'm like, ah, ship,
all right, I just I just flipped it. So I'm like, okay, yeah,
all right, come on, Ranger, get yourself through this. Fifty
seven pitches, the little double playball here, maybe you go
(38:29):
back out again.
Speaker 3 (38:31):
What's at sixth.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Time?
Speaker 1 (38:37):
Fly ball? Get there, Mark, get there. Get the fuck.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
We didn't get that at.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
God damn it.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
That can't happen.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
You gotta catch that.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
We're gonna lose this game. Now, whose games a rap can't?
He can't lead teams hanging when you have opportunities, and.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Like, that's when you died for dude Trays right there,
that's when you die for gotten caught. What did you
pull up on that?
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Dude?
Speaker 1 (39:17):
Stupid? Don't you take him out right now? Who's up?
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Moncy Monthy pas monthly switch hitter?
Speaker 3 (39:30):
Yeah, no, no, Lefty.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Switched.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Depending on what happens here, you might, I don't know,
if somebody's up in the pen, you might put somebody
for payas let's feel listen. I don't want that rather
range to just go live it down with them.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Yeah at this point, right, yeah, I don't. Yeah, I
don't trust any of our relievers to come into an inn.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Everybody that's in our bullpens with guys on base. Yeah,
it's a great first pitch.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
I mean.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Kirk Ring has been like he's had like fifteen runners
on like he's allowed eight of them to score in
his last like ten outings or something. Stroms sled up
runs last two times has been out there in the series.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Let's go. I got the alert early. Give me give
me some, give me some. I didn't want to look
at the watch. I didn't want to look at the
watch because.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
I watch the Killer watch a killer thought.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
I was gonna er for a three run. Bomb's huge.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
It's a massive pitch right there.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
The web, the web too is always ahead.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Yeah it is, Yes, it's it's funny like old shovel too.
That was was that was That was like a thirty
foot shovel.
Speaker 3 (40:54):
That's a long one, but it was right all the
time though.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
It was Yeah, like again that's gold glove bright since
stot over there never gonna end up winning one because
because it's like his advanced mextrics don't like aren't like
as good as it. But you know I test that
did just stud.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Yeah, and for what he's making, keeps him around, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
I don't like, yeah, you want to see him hit
a little bit more, but like dude comes up in
big spots all the time and seems to find a way.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
And then he's called the bun.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Yeah, so.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
Dumb.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
And then and then Thompson coming out like oh yeah,
we were playing for the tie, like we were like
you're playing for the tie.
Speaker 4 (41:35):
That's one of those That's one of those questions you go, hey, Rob,
you know if maybe if you let stop batt against
some more lefties throughout the year, do you think you
trust them more?
Speaker 1 (41:44):
And that, yeah, I probably would.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
I would say that. Okay, I'm a small ball guy
at heart. I love it, especially when your rock fense
is struggling. I got no problem with it. But I
say this, but I will give a bun for pitch
to a guy, and I'll watch what infielders do and
then I'll decide if I want to give it to
him again.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
Like that's what you do. If you got it, you
take it, you put it down.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
If you see it and you say, okay, they're wheeling
like Nick Nick knowing that second base is wheeling and
shortstops wheeling on that play.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
You gotta get off man. But because because real.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
Quick, if there's a pop up, if he bunts up
in the air, they're not beating you back there, dude.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
They have to go hard.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
They have to beat you to the basis.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
They have to do the runners of the basis.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
They can't play around there. So I never put on
a double wheel because I don't like double wheels, But
I mean big legs I would, but I'm not gonna
do it. You're not gonna do it in amateur sports.
Speaker 4 (42:43):
Only benefit that I'll give the Nick, because you're absolutely right,
like he's got him, he's gotta follow with Mookie, right,
he's gotta work with Mookie.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
But the only benefit of the day out I'll give
him is how much did they practice bunning anymore? You
know what I mean? But again, we're asking a guy
to do something in a game that we've net we
haven't done on all year. Well, that probly don't practice.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
That's right. You have You create an identity through the
regular season on who you are, and that goes for football,
that goes for baseball, goes for basketball, and goes for hockey. Okay,
you create an identity on who you are. You never
you never run from you from what you are. You
don't say, Okay, now I'm gonna play smallball because it
dictates it. Well, then you got to dictate it in
game fifty two in a regular season. That's gonna be
(43:24):
your make up as a baseball team. Bryce name little stop,
the price name little stop Bryce and handle the butt. Well,
yes he does, okay, But Nick, that's why I don't
put it on there because it couldn't Nick get his
speed or lack thereof. So that's that's where it's like,
you throw it the fuck away and we're not even
(43:45):
having the conversation.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
Yeah, I mean like, like, look, Mookie made a great play,
like he got over again. It was a good it
was a good baseball play all around. I just hate
I hate the play. I think you there, So you
went from what three or four straight hits, you score
three runs. That place is loud as hell. It's the
(44:07):
first time they had anything to cheer about since like
the third inning of Game one, right, so it's been
what twelve innings since anybody's been able to cheer about anything.
And you're gonna go ahead and bunt, No, dude, if
he pulls the ball there, which he does more often
than not, anyway, you do the same thing. That's taking
the same job. Right.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
It's a great point, right, that's one of your more
professional hitters up there too, right, guy who you should
at least trust for whatever faults you might have with
Bryce's Stott. Offensively, he's more than likely going to pull
the baseball.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Yeah, Like you look, you know he more often than
not he makes contacts right, and more often than not
he pulls the baseball. Yeah, so in that situation, look,
look if he's if Nick holds it first and you
want to bun him over the second yeah, sure, absolutely
bunt him over to second basically at the top of
the order coming up. Cool, no problem, totally fine with that, right,
(45:00):
But he's already in scoring position. Your job is to
get into the third base anyway, you know how to
if you want to drop a bunt down on like
a like a after it's oh one in their back. Oh,
he's not funny. You want to try to drop a
bunt down there? Sure, go ahead, right, But like, allow
the dude who's shown in the past that he can
get big hits in the postseason to try to tie
the game up.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
Tie the game up.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
You you have a guy who say he doesn't say
he even pulls, either pulls a ball or say he
gets a hit, right, he can go swipe a bag,
he can be on second base. Yeah, you have Trade
Turner coming up next to led the league in hitting, right, Like,
why why force something that you know in theory is
(45:43):
the right play? But I think this is probably the
worst thing that about Thompson. He doesn't have a feel
for a game, then he feel no thing to feel
for it. He just follows whatever the analytics are supposed
to stay.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
It's almost like there's a reason why the Yankees never
made the head coach.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
It's just hard with no outs and a guy on second,
like a guy on first, no outs, dude, you're already there.
Put it a guy on second with no app It's
like when they talk about already to see they don't
think bats out of guy's hands.
Speaker 3 (46:17):
And then now you do, and you keep your's.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
They give yourself three times to get a hit, You
give yourself two times and then and then this opportunity
can give yourself any times. Obviously, yeah, because you end
up with the guys on first. But that that's my
problem with it. I guess the great boy leave it there.
He's called that all game.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
Now you need runs here, let's fucking go.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
They gotta blow this game open.
Speaker 4 (46:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Do you need double one a gap here?
Speaker 1 (46:48):
Yeah? Be perfect. You If if Bryce Harper hits a
left center field double right here, m hm, sign me up,
it's gonna be fire enough. Dude. Like you you he
hits a basis clearing double right.
Speaker 3 (47:02):
Here, I'm with you.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
I love the double I was, I was, I was
all the way out, Like, look, I would have preferred that.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
By the way, we're still all the way out.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
I'm still all the way Absolutely, I would have preferred
the look.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Well, I don't know if you guys saw the video,
but it's exactly what's going to happen. Yeah, I put
a video out and I literally you know, I addressed
and the whole team. So I'm sure it's going to
age extremely well for me.
Speaker 1 (47:38):
Hey man, it is what it is. Nothing was false there, no, absolutely,
like I only I was more mad on Monday night
for them giving me some semblance of hope than just
losing four nothing like you scored three runs with no
outs and you have the tying run on second base
and you lost the game of the ninth d like,
(48:00):
come on, man with the top get down. Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
No, right, you're absolutely right, Like I might, I might
not be as down in the dumps if you just
would have lost the game for nothing. Yeah, all right, okay,
coming back, and then the way it happened, as we
just talked about, right, the way it turned out, the bunt,
the non bunt, you know, Cassie slowed, Cassie didn't get
a good jump whatever, like that's what then like just
triggered everything this team stakes.
Speaker 1 (48:28):
And especially after like the hit that Cassie. It was
like a one two count and that balls in the
other batter's box and he rips it in the left
for a two run double, Like come on, dude, are
we serious? Also Taoski and end is all I've heard
is he's an awful right fielder and he's made every
single plants come to him, Like, come on, man, make
him play miss something one time.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
That's a bit of bat What are we doing? Oh
my god, what are we doing?
Speaker 3 (49:00):
You're the trail guy. You're the trail guy.
Speaker 1 (49:15):
I think I think Trey's stutter stepped or something, because
like Schwarber looked over at Trey. Yeah, yeah, Trey stopped.
But that's still like that's bad.
Speaker 3 (49:28):
We would happen there. I missed that.
Speaker 1 (49:32):
Curshaw bounced the curve ball, tried to like two or
three steps towards third base, and Kyle like followed him,
but then they backpicked for me and try.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
With the third Like you know, if you don't got
that read right away, you're not going anyway. So where
are you going and and Harper. Harper cosses his inning
because again he swung it bull one and baltim the
second picture with a strike. I go back and look
at it was a low up just fucking trying to
do too much. Man, it's all I need to see it.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
And a bat.
Speaker 2 (50:04):
The guy goes swinging a ball, and it's like, okay,
you're trying to do too much.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Especially on a guy who it's all over.
Speaker 3 (50:12):
They need to snow.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
They gave. They gave Snoll the third ending the other night,
like he's command went away and they said, okay, well
we're gonna bail you out. We're gonna bail you out.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Yeah, I mean look he he went three one to
Trey and try write the single back up the middle.
He just walked, swarm and you're gonna swing in the
first two pitches of the bat. Come on, man, mh
you need something here, Come on, marsh, let's go. Come on,
Mars needs something here, dude, give me give me a run,
(50:44):
give me a base hit. We a wild pitch.
Speaker 3 (50:46):
We saw them.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
Well, it's gonna he's gonna walk. You make them three strikes.
Let's go. Come on. Was the last time Kershaw came
out of.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
The bullpen a thing probably years this easy. I mean
to your point of June is starting game one or two. Yeah,
you know throughout his career. Yeah, hm, I think.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
Dude, it's not the pitt you're looking for. When some
five freaking balls in a row.
Speaker 4 (51:25):
Like I know they're big leaguers, but like we have
to this and this is where today's offense goes away, right,
Like you have to have a feel. Yeah, what are
you swinging at a ball in the bottom quardron up
to or one? Oh account, we haven't got a fuel
fuel for hitting. You don't want you don't want to
(51:46):
give big leaguers a'll take till you get a strike.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
But maybe we should, maybe we should. Oh, what's up?
Speaker 2 (52:06):
This is fucking.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
You. Just keep letting him off the hook, man, Come on,
you can't keep doing this.
Speaker 2 (52:16):
What are you swinging?
Speaker 3 (52:19):
Marsha? Let that hit me in the head. It's it's hurts.
I don't throw a heart anymore.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
And the curveball that seventy miles an hour then Scully,
so he's dead. Ohold, I don't know. They sld an
old guy that there's magic magic, Get get down, damn it, dude,
(52:48):
how many times gonna let him off the hook? Dude?
How many times? Fuck three? One bomb in the bottom half.
Here's anab amazing.
Speaker 3 (53:07):
Ship ship ship ship ship ship.
Speaker 1 (53:17):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (53:21):
Uh, the dude days old? The guy they should that
he is oldest.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Yeah, I don't, I don't. I know it's not him,
but I'm like, oh, I guess that him. I know
it isn't like, oh guy, it's like a guy doesn't
know where he is. He's like, he's like that type
of that's how old that guy's.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
H a uh score predictions hurt tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (53:49):
All right. I think it's gonna be closer than we like,
literally just said, I don't know where the point's gonna
come from. Twenty four, twenty four fifteen Eagles, twenty four fifteen, Yeah,
(54:17):
twenty four to fifteen.
Speaker 3 (54:19):
It does give you what you're not. It's a nine
point win, right.
Speaker 1 (54:21):
Nine point yea four nineteen or the fifteen. I don't
know if that's gonna be five field goals. I don't
know if that's two touchdowns. I don't know how I
get there. But we're going twenty four to fifteen because
it's not gonna be it's gonna be like We're up
the entire game, right, but like it's not a comfortable
enough lead where you're like, well, something goes wrong here,
(54:44):
something goes wrong here, turn the ball over here, and
then like yeah, they're they're gonna the defense isn't gonna
stop late, Like okay, all right, we're good of the
offense will run the clock out. It should have been
a double digit win, but it's just not right, Like
I feel like it's gonna have one of those the game.
Speaker 3 (55:00):
Yeah, no, I hear you. Uh, twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (55:08):
Eighteen, the same type of deal.
Speaker 3 (55:11):
Twenty seven eighteen? Oh is that is that nine as well?
Speaker 2 (55:14):
It's nine?
Speaker 1 (55:20):
What's the what's the line? Seven? Seven and a half
half seven? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (55:27):
Uh, twenty eight fourteen, twenty fourteen.
Speaker 3 (55:30):
Here you go.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
This week I went thirty in age. Well I'm not
going to do that again.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
So mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
It's week twenty eight thirteen. Google different twenty.
Speaker 5 (55:41):
Thirty offensive player of the game, Right, go ahead, start off,
takon breakout, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (55:58):
Yeah, it would be nice able to run the foot
against the defense who has just not been very good
against the run at all, you know, maybe not maybe
not a whole get right game for the offense, but
a get right game for Saquon, Like, hey, give him
eighteen carries for a buck twenty in a touchdown something
(56:20):
like that. Nothing like too crazy, Like okay, all right, hey,
you know it's it's not like we'll be getting sixty
sixty yards a game like type thing. Let's get let's
get over the century mark. You know, maybe not too
many carries, but no, get him, get him the end zone.
So I'm like, okay, all right, the bounce is still there.
We're okay. Something like that.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
I mean, I was close last week in the first
half because, like I said, jailing, I thought he's gonna
have like a little bit of a statement game in
terms of throwing the football. We did in the first
half and then age well obviously second at all.
Speaker 1 (56:54):
I was right on Smithy last week.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
You were.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
There, you go give me a J man, give me aj.
Speaker 3 (57:09):
I was thinking that too, Tommy.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
Give me a J for a buck, a buck twenty
and and a toddie because I expect some guys like
I expect, I like where you went with Saquon. So
it's like, I think he's gonna have a honey on
the ground, and I think a J has one hundred
in the air.
Speaker 1 (57:25):
I like that. A couple of guys like that.
Speaker 4 (57:27):
Yeah, we need absolutely And you're banging on that trust
tree right, that convo trust Tree, you know, the three
headed aj Saquon Jalen right, sitting down for a couple
of minutes, break bread, you know, yell at each other
for a little bit, then hug it out right. Trust
Tree is gonna come through. That's where I was going.
Speaker 3 (57:45):
Yeah, I know, I love that. I'll go with the
touchdown merchant this year. Dallas Goddard.
Speaker 2 (57:50):
Yeah, I mean that's what's left Davonte. You think Davante
is two weeks in a row against that secondary, it
could be could with no doubt. And he's known for
tortunate at Matt Life too, so he's had some good
games in that life. So Greg hads Davonte. So we
(58:11):
sort of Greg Miller, does you know we got everybody
everybody listed, so we're throwing him in the eighth.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
Well we might we might get six outs tonight. I
get six outs tonight. Did say a pre game like
he can go multiple innings.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
So okay, again, do it's something we haven't done all year?
Speaker 1 (58:33):
He's he did it. He did it with the Twins
earlier this year. But yeah, we haven't. We haven't seen
him do it. And honestly, I look, I'm fine, Yeah,
live or die with the dude. I'm I'm fine with it.
Speaker 4 (58:46):
I'd be okay with said if we didn't throw him
in game one and two and they've all seen him.
Speaker 3 (58:51):
Don't care, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (58:53):
I get they see everybody else.
Speaker 4 (58:54):
You get three outs, he gets three outs, throw him
every game, But to go get six? I mean, to
your point, who else are we trusting at this point?
Speaker 1 (59:04):
Living live and die with the dude that throws one
hundred and three with a ninety seven hours split and
go with that and then the knuckle curb a eighty five.
Speaker 4 (59:13):
You know it's something that you know we don't because
you don't ever account for an injury, right, Like you
don't ever account for like a better injury. But and
you didn't think about this till like you start diving
deep into where the hell is going on with this team?
Speaker 3 (59:27):
Right? But you look at the roster configuration for a
five game series, and you know, three here did we need?
Do we need twelve pitchers?
Speaker 4 (59:40):
Like no offense to tie? Like did Taiwan Walker need
to make this this roster? Did Tims need to make
this roster? They could be on the divisional series where
the the CS if you get there, right, But in
a five game series, you should have had to And
maybe it was maybe they made the decision because Rojas
was the guy they wanted and he's hurt, But why
(01:00:01):
can't Why didn't you just bring Stubbs because then the
bump makes a little bit more sense. It's Stubbs he's
running instead of Nicky, because then you could run for Nick.
You can't run for nick in that position because you
got to save someone for batter. Yeah, and you can't
use more Sean in that scenario. Yeah, I still you
(01:00:21):
got to get the extra innings before you can worry
about guys, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
But yeah, no, I completely agree. I was like, why
do you have Walker on here? Why do you have
Walker Buehler on here? Like? Why are these guys on
the roster? It's realistically, you knew you weren't going to
throw them unless he absolutely and if you need to
throw them anyway, you're losing the game. So who cares
who you throw?
Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
Like, there was no way Taiwan Walker was sniffing sniffing
them out in this series, right Walker Bueller? Maybe right,
but like especially with you know that like Cassie defensive liability,
Schwarber is obviously only a d H. Like there's two
like outfielders right stand in the ball park.
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
He did out No you got it?
Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
Oh my god?
Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Yeahs almost specimen inside out of that, Amos. That's like
freaking hard to do, dude, It's like a whiffle ball swing.
Has that even happened?
Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
But yeah, like that the roster, that doesn't make any
sense even if you bring up justin Crawford just to
be a just just to be there, like like just
go out there like it's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
Oh my god, my butt wole puckered up and I
knew the outcome.
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
I'm like a fly out, like, oh shit, he's on
the warning track. What. Yeah, Like it's it's another thing
that like it doesn't make any sense, Like.
Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Yeah, no, dumb, just so dumb.
Speaker 4 (01:01:49):
If you I thought you could have because Rojas is hurt, right,
like if you were able to replace Peter, I thought Crawford,
let's go.
Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
I don't care, I probably have swung a stick in
two weeks. Let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
Yeah, I mean screw it like have him playing the
inner squad like whatever. He's just there, an extra speedy
guy who plays pretty good defense. He's he's a center fielder, right,
Like you can put him in the corners. I know
that they tried them out in the corners in the
in the in Triple A.
Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
I think so.
Speaker 4 (01:02:18):
But would you rather have Crawford or Games I think,
or what the other day? Sos in center field or
Kepler in centerfield playing.
Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
Center field the other day? Yeah, and Max Keplos played
center field, like what are we doing? Come on?
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Man?
Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
But yeah, you know you totally need Auto Camp and
Weston Wilson on this roster too, by the way, that
they're not the exact same player.
Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
But yeah, I think you're right. I obviously naturally prefer Camp.
I think Kemp gives you more, but you're right, they're
the same guy.
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
It's the same player. Kemp has more upside, but yes,
they're the same player. Yes, just whatever, Yeah, I know
that we're I don't want to get too far ahead
of this, but you lose, you managed to lose this game,
or you lose this series, you will see massive changes
(01:03:15):
with this roster, absolutely massive changes.
Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
The only thing giving me pause, and I agree with you.
Is now Dombo's got the batter injury as a cruck
to go on top of wheeler.
Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
But I'm on board. Blow it all up, blow it up,
blow it up.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Let JT walk, Let let unfortunately, let's swarm walk You
see Cassie, you caught him whatever, Tylan Walker gone, like,
I mean, I'd be cool with trading Boone. Yeah, Kepler's
not coming back.
Speaker 3 (01:03:58):
Like everybody, you either gotta do to You gotta do
a couple of things right.
Speaker 4 (01:04:03):
You either got to free up an outfield spot and
sign a first basement for Bryce, depending on what you
gotta do right, you need you need an outfield.
Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Spot for for Crawford.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
Right. So in theory, right now, you're Marsh and Crawford
in the outlaw.
Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
You need a right hand hit outfielder, right right handed
outfielder or that's or that's uh, you know, or you
get rid of or you get rid of Marsh and
you sign like Kyle Tucker. Yeah, something like that.
Speaker 4 (01:04:31):
I'm kind of out on Tucker, but I hear you.
My guys, come on, Homer, Yes, come on, let's go,
my guys.
Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
Bregman, I like Bregman a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:04:45):
I'm definitely it sounds really negative, right and not would
what you know, but like I bring j T back
before Schwarmer, I just even just from a defensive standard.
Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
If you're picking one of these guys, if you're picking yeah,
because you sign him to a two year deal. Right,
it's a two years it's not a four or five
year deal, right where you're paying let's go, let's twenty
million dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
Big swing, Right, it's a big swing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Because again, that's an insurance run.
Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
Right, that's what we didn't get in the sixth.
Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Three runs is absolutely a lot. Like it doesn't seem
like a lot, but three runs is massive compared to right,
if you get another one here, I'd feel even better.
Or if you had attacked on earlier, like like again,
like that's just a that's a big league at bat.
Like JT's had good at bats, right, Like he.
Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
Was the one all postseason.
Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
Right, Like he's had good at bats. He's one of
the couple of guys just had good at bats. He
was the dude who had that what double or triple
and game Game one to clear the bases there put
us up, right, Like that was a massive swing off
Otani and then you didn't do anything else, right, like,
and again he's still he's out there every day. You
can't expect him to realistically catch one hundred and twenty games.
Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
One hundred and twenty You got to start like him
off right, right, rug right right.
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
That's a drug exactly. So he wants to be out
there every day, like you saw towards the end of
the year, like he was banged up, right, So it's
it's difficult, Kepler.
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
Again. I I know that I've ripped Kepler all year.
He's been had just great at bats for the last month.
Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
Yeah, so good.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
He might have went there, but it's fine. But yeah, like, dude,
I love JT. How old is he now, like thirty three,
thirty four? Yeah, something like that. Like I'd be totally
cool giving him a two or three year deal again,
God damn it. Oh okay, once here, sick got cast
(01:07:05):
top the first pitch, double play ball.
Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
Now you got to take care of business. Sorry, guys,
I'm standing up right now.
Speaker 3 (01:07:11):
No, you're good.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
You're fine, really bad.
Speaker 1 (01:07:14):
Yeah, you think Tommy, But yeah, like, assuming assuming they
don't win this series and you blow it up, thank you,
I would be.
Speaker 3 (01:07:27):
Sorry Roy.
Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
No again, he's fine. I'm just repeating what I was
saying earlier. But yeah, I I i'd agree with that.
I wouldn't want to pay Schreber whatever he's going to
make if you're just blowing the lineup up again, yeah right,
which realistically, even if they find this is a good bunt,
this is a good butN good job. Okay, good, but
(01:07:48):
but yeah, like, if you're blowing the lineup up, I'd
bring JT back of like the questionable guys like and
it's a shame.
Speaker 4 (01:07:56):
Too because Pater would usually Pater to me would fall
into that guy that you bring back. But you need
and he is a righty, right, so maybe you run
maybe you run Marsh Vader Crawford in the outfield next year.
Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
I don't hate that, Like, I don't hate it either,
I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
I also don't. I know he was better this year.
I don't hate moving Marsh for like a bullpen piece.
Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
Agreed, I don't hate, But you're not getting anything good
for that.
Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
But you can get something, you know what I mean? Right?
Like again, like but you know that he struggles against lefties.
Yeah right, again, he was better this year.
Speaker 4 (01:08:29):
But like, is this is not against lefties though he
only batted one fifty against lefties again though in general
not because he's they don't give him a chance.
Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
Yeah, like, but just in general he was better this year.
But is this his ceiling? Is he gonna get most
better than this? Can you go get somebody who's better?
Speaker 4 (01:08:47):
Well, I guess yeah, better would be playing, I guess
bet to your point, probably not right, because better is
is hitting over two hundred against lefties because he he
did what we asked him to do as a platoon guy, right,
he crushed, right, He's at the end of the year,
he did. He was almost he was over three hundred
or just at three hundred right around there, which is
(01:09:10):
what you asked for when you, uh, when you when you're.
Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
The left handed bat of a platoon.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
Right.
Speaker 4 (01:09:17):
It's just he doesn't get the opportunities, and then when
he does, he naturally shows that he can't right now
hit lefties.
Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
Yeah, but I do think the s JM just said it.
I do think that, like, yeah, let's go Tray, come on,
massive six one.
Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
Gidding up still doesn't happen yet, Let's go Okay, look
he still yeah, live bet, live bet U two.
Speaker 3 (01:09:48):
RBIs here live Betty.
Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Yeah, there you go. That's great, but no, like again,
you're you're not getting off no matter what you want
to do. Trey Turner here, Bryce is here right, Like,
you can't like just only have them, right, you need
to have something around that you could still win. Your
pitching staff is still really good, right, everyone's locked up
(01:10:12):
other than Ranger. But yeah, Trail. Oh, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle,
he did it again. Go come on, get.
Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Stave something for tomorrow, boys.
Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
Yes, please go. Hey, Sanchez on hill tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
Oh he played this game Dave Roberts like it was
over at three to one. So just this a little
bit on Dave Roberts.
Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
Right here, Sanchiz pitch, guys, Sanrus, are you throwing them?
Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
Arow?
Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
Christopher san.
Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
Not Game five?
Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
Game five?
Speaker 3 (01:11:03):
No, it's tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
Christopher SER's pitching tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
And then.
Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
I guess you'd have well, Christomas Sander's pitch tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
It would be Jesus on on uh what Saturday?
Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
Yeah, it be Jesus, and then I mean you could throw, Yeah,
it'd be it'd be all kitchen sick like you'd have
Nola available. You'd have Ranger available another one. Oh, they're
just leaving Kershaw to die.
Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
I like saying he had a double the other way.
Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
Again, that that was the swing I wanted two winnings ago.
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
Do you leave Ranger in here now and don't waste
any of these other guys? Yes, yes, right, I think
you do. I agree with you. You let Ranger ride
it out.
Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Then the game, let them finish the game.
Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
Yep, everybody sit down.
Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
Or like, here's your this is your Mason inning.
Speaker 3 (01:12:03):
Right, No, I don't even do that. I don't even
give up this.
Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
This is where he's available.
Speaker 3 (01:12:09):
Yeah, like we're saying like he's the sixth lefty to
come into a game.
Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
Yeah, it's crazy, Like was he ever?
Speaker 3 (01:12:17):
Was he ever going to be at that spot? I don't, hm,
you know, you just it's tough. What's Ranger thrown? Seventy pitches?
Eighty pitches? Where is he? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:12:29):
And I mean seventy two pitches? So what we played
Saturday next or five Saturday?
Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
So yeah, I mean you're not Yeah, you're you're not.
He's not throwing.
Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
He's kind of already dead.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Right, Yeah, just let him go.
Speaker 4 (01:12:46):
You might as well blow him out, right, Yeah, No, Diddy,
No Diddy, Yeah, what's up, Aileen?
Speaker 3 (01:12:51):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
Yeah? I just let him go, assuming he's not like
already icing down, like, oh yeah, you're done.
Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
Yeah right, I noticed that too, right, you said, Harpar
with a different batting stance, just bad up. It's so
strange he switches.
Speaker 4 (01:13:05):
Back and for the reviews he does. But it just
goes to show how these guys are heat creatures of habit. Right,
But I did notice he was more upright, That was
more upright. If we get that swing every time, I'll
take that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Yeah, yeah, I mean in theory here, you know, you'll
have you have Jesus, you'll have Aaron, you'll have pretty
much everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
I mean, well, there you go, Iron through thirty pitches.
Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
So he's definitely good for Saturday's Saturday. You can pitch
tomorrow if you need it. Not that he would you.
Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
Would, yeah, yeah, yeah, And it worked out right, And
I know issued starting Nola, it's just it's again, it
goes back to the plan, right, It goes back to
the plan is what we talked about earlier.
Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
Then no feel for life, But why would like, I know,
that doesn't matter. Why send him there? Bom just gets
to hit through the left side and he gets thrown
out at home by thirty feet? Why send him? Why sentence?
They just hold him up.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Or just ran on his own possible, which he's done.
Speaker 1 (01:14:22):
He do that again, Like the play is completely in
front of you.
Speaker 3 (01:14:26):
Yeah, and it's.
Speaker 2 (01:14:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:14:29):
I mean you watched it go through, you knew how
hard it was hit, you knew that you delayed a
second to make sure it got through.
Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
That's that's just dumb.
Speaker 3 (01:14:42):
At this point two what eight one batter take the
homet off? Starco getting treatment, Like.
Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
Hey, I need to play. I needed to play tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:14:50):
Gone tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
Yeah, I needs to play tomorrow, like physically play tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
Like I mean it was bang bang, So there is
something to say.
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
All right, yes on in video replay it was closer, right,
like I get it. Yeah, you're right, but like if
that better, if that throw is better, like he's out
by thirty feet and throw is on the wrong side
of the thing again, you know. Hey, oh lord the
(01:15:23):
Patriots thing, Oh god, yeah, she's a Pats fan.
Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
Lord, Dave Roberts is an idiot. Donnie.
Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
Oh, They're like, oh, well, we can afford to lose
this game type thing.
Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
Last night does not scare me though, No, is that
who they're going tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
That was Yeah, I think so ins because I think
Show is going to pitch Game five if they get there.
They were trying to set it up so that Show
I would pitch game one of the AML.
Speaker 4 (01:15:52):
Yes, it makes sense. I mean not that they wouldn't,
but he's got a start in order for him to
be yeah, to be able to d H right, like
you can't.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
I think I don't think you can do it the
other way around. Yeah, I mean I don't know. I'm
pretty sure that you could. I'm pretty sure the show Hay,
your rule doesn't work opposite.
Speaker 3 (01:16:15):
You have to start, gotta start, yea. Now, if you
want to close them and you pull the DH out,
stay in.
Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
That's a good swing. That's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:16:28):
They are leaving kers out to dry at this point,
why not, right.
Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
Yeah, I mean it's fine. Like the marsh just hit
of all, like basically where Boone hit his in the
first inning and they called it the same fucking thing.
But I mean that's that's a massive inning right there.
It's an absolutely massive inning. You can do whatever you
want now out of the pen. You had your guys, Yeah,
you had the Sharper's got two home runs the night
(01:16:54):
Brightious hit a double, hit a single. Earlier in the game,
Trey's got two hits.
Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
I think it's a weird Duke.
Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
I like that first at bat, right, the single you
were talking about, and then he comes in those other
two at bats, Yeah, and they're not good.
Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
They're not good. So you had the one good at bat.
Speaker 4 (01:17:09):
Then you do the Opo double, which again we all
sit there and like, all right, you're locked in at
that point.
Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
What happened those middle to it bats?
Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
Yea, as as Tommy would you know, trying to do
too much, right, like just trying to trying to overswing
and trying to just be more than what you need
to do.
Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
Yeah, thank you. Ilean is the field is the last
year's sport, last year's spring training cap.
Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
John Harper always gets hot too when he uses the
big part of the field.
Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
That's what we used to love about Ryan Howard too.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Right, as soon as start trying it the other way,
I mean JT perfect example, Ja, he's been trying to
use the big far of the field, get your pitch
in her half, and you naturally react and pull on it. Yeah, right,
instead of getting that pitch, not trying to use the
big part of the field, and you roll that, you
roll over an inside pitcher, you foul it off, right,
you f out in the foul territory or you fell
(01:18:02):
out in the stands. Either way, you know what I mean.
But you just don't set yourself up.
Speaker 4 (01:18:07):
Well, yeah, for sure, James. I'm looking forward to this
year too, brother Flyers, big Flyers fan. Yeah, Tomorrow's gonna
be a big day. You gotta got a triple screen
at tomorrow. Five boys open up, Phillies are playing, and
then of course we got the Eagles.
Speaker 1 (01:18:26):
You know what, what time is it? Nine o'clock game tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (01:18:30):
No, I think we're six tomorrow six tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
We are stick So wait I think yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:18:39):
Because then I think they gave the Cubs the nine
o'clock spot.
Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
That's nuts. I will be uh coaching my scrimmage with
my phone in my hand, coaching phone in my hand,
and I'll.
Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
Be able to try out maybe doing something similar and
then hoping to God that we can get out of there.
It nine on time, and you know rush home and
what times Thursday night football? Sorry thirty?
Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
Yeah, yeah, tell me I might be skipping skipping trials tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
Like that, I could see that.
Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
I mean, I get I get done that. Uh that
scrimmage we're gonna start, I don't know, five thirty ish
maybe if we're lucky five fifteen, five thirty, and if
we get done at like seven, I could. I mean,
I don't know, man, my people you got like you
need me to be there also, I might show up.
I don't know how useful.
Speaker 2 (01:19:38):
Lobby, but yeah, what do we got twenty eight and
twenty sevens is?
Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
Uh the seven o'clock one e seven whatever after seven o'clock?
Speaker 2 (01:19:48):
I mean we could we know all these guys for
the most part. Man, we can make this short and sweet. Yeah,
I think we're gonna make it short and sweet, sick.
Seven pitches out, six, seven pitches out? All right, throw
your pen if you need to, if you're new. If
you're new, we give you like ten pitches because you
don't get a lot of you don't get too many
new guys usually. Yeah. But either way, like we had
(01:20:12):
like forty five out for the thirteens that night.
Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
Was that good.
Speaker 3 (01:20:17):
It was great.
Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
It just it just took a while, right naturally, because
you got throwed everybody. Yeah, it's all good, All.
Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
Right, Kirker, and give me give me a nice easy
inning here, o, Ryan, he's been he's been shaky. Nice
easy inning here. I don't know Big day tomorrow, Big datamorrow.
Who's the Flyers playing? Not that I'm gonna walk, not
that I'm gonna sniff Flyers hockey tomorrow. But hm, let's see.
(01:20:53):
I don't I know that they hired a new coach.
I don't know anything about the Flyers.
Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
Miami or Florida, Florida, Florida.
Speaker 1 (01:20:59):
Yeah, my Amercanes, Carolina Hurricanes, right, Carolina. No.
Speaker 3 (01:21:07):
Did they open up with the Panthers?
Speaker 1 (01:21:09):
Oh, Florida Panthers. Oh yeah, all right, my thing, okay, yes, yeah,
Florida Panthers. Yeah, it's opened up with the Cup champs.
Speaker 3 (01:21:16):
Here we go defend the champ get it? Who won?
I think last night or time?
Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Yeah? They won, they won?
Speaker 3 (01:21:23):
No, right, I lie?
Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
The twenty seventh and twenty eights are actually seven thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
Seven thirty mmmmm mmmmm. I don't know about that one, Tommy.
Seven guys, twenty seven guys. If I know you, get out,
I don't know you.
Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
Yeah, it's quick, this is quick. I think like I
don't know how many guys on here? We don't know
literally that aren't that don't play for the program already. Yeah,
so this is literally like hey, hey we're out any
forty five to night, any forty five or our fifteen minutes?
(01:22:09):
Mm hm. They went the Ranger.
Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
Yeah, yeah, they went to give Kirk ring and the
kind of Wow. I think I think that aning was
too long to send Ranger back out. Probably yeah, Okay,
he's a fucking animal.
Speaker 3 (01:22:35):
He don't matter.
Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Like again, like I I know, I agree with you,
but they're probably like, oh, yeah, you're done, let's go
get let's go here. Then they put up a five
spot that was probably that was probably least twenty minutes.
They changed their now kershwod out the whole time.
Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
I think, yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (01:22:52):
Is that a good a good text of the chat.
Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
He's like, if I'm kershaw, I go fight Dave Roberts
like leave it, leave it all old famer out there
to get tagged.
Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
Yeah, that's pretty shitty, man, that's twenty of what two
World series two?
Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Right, Like, yeah, and we went through in our group
chat a while back, but you go look like deep
into his numbers, like he had a stupid career oh no,
his his regular one of his career, one of of
his seventy losses in his career were within the first
(01:23:28):
two years of his career.
Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
Yeah, Like dude, he like I pull it up, but
like his I always go back to there was there
was supposed to be a game of like Randy Johnson
versus like Greg Maddox. Yeah, and it ended up being
sure Zury Kershaw. I'm just like that. That's still like
(01:23:51):
the craziest, like, oh damn, I can't believe I to
go watch this game. Oh ship, this game was awesome game,
Like that's.
Speaker 3 (01:23:58):
What that is turned into two just absolute mooses of
of careers.
Speaker 1 (01:24:04):
Yeah, I mean what Kershaw and Verland are the only
two not named of Tahani because he's but like the
only two pitchers to win the side like the MVP
in my lifetime. Yeah right, Like those guys are just filthy.
And Kershaw's been doing it since.
Speaker 3 (01:24:19):
He was like twenty one, yeah, seventeen years, eighteen years.
Speaker 1 (01:24:22):
Like this year, dude, he's got a one six with
eleven wins in a three three six era in one
hundred and twelve innings, like and he's what forty thirty seven.
Speaker 3 (01:24:36):
Yeah, so like and I always go I always go back.
Speaker 4 (01:24:38):
I like going back to like the high school days, right,
him and Matt Stafford running around the same high school together.
Speaker 3 (01:24:45):
Can you matchine tho?
Speaker 1 (01:24:47):
Like absolutely insane between you.
Speaker 3 (01:24:49):
Know, Matt, you probably swung it or can throw it too.
Speaker 1 (01:24:52):
Oh yeah for sure. Between two thousand and nine and
twenty twenty three, Kershaw's high highest e r RA was
three fifty five. Yeah, and that was in twenty twenty one.
Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
Wayne Ranger gets to win Raine Wayne, Yeah, who gets
with like.
Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
All those other years, like he led the league in
era one, two, three, four five times. Yeah, and like
I think the one year that he didn't was like the.
Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
Year that.
Speaker 1 (01:25:30):
De Gram was insane like this, Yeah, absolutely absolute stud.
Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
We're at Rexi's eating some garlic bread with his aunt.
He said the Flyers like mediocre garlic bread at a
good at a good Italian joint. I'll nibble on it
if I'm not doing doing anti poster having a big
knee quorse.
Speaker 1 (01:25:57):
This is actually hilarious. You're throwing Trina out here again again.
You're throwing trying it out here after you had him
try to close the game out in game two.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
Yeah. Things two things then, like I don't like showing
kirkerring again, right, like if I guess.
Speaker 3 (01:26:18):
Unless it was needed, right, Yeah, that one didn't make
any sense.
Speaker 2 (01:26:23):
In one leader. I probably think Ranger back out there, right,
even though we sat for a little bit and I
got you know, I've got guys ready to go, but
I don't know if I necessarily want to show it
to him again. That's all I agree.
Speaker 3 (01:26:34):
I'm with you.
Speaker 4 (01:26:36):
I thought the same when I came and when I
came back and I saw Kirkery warming up, but I go, yeah,
I probably would have won Ranger again.
Speaker 3 (01:26:43):
At least one more.
Speaker 1 (01:26:44):
At least one more, or maybe this is a Taiwan
walker in right, like throw somebody out there that you know,
it's not gonna matter. Yeah, those are great, Like that's
the fly up. That's a good sway, it's a good swig.
Speaker 2 (01:27:02):
Hey, you'll take those outs.
Speaker 3 (01:27:05):
Yeah, that behind home plate empty.
Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
Nobody there. The entire stadium's empty right now, Like there's.
Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
It is trying to get out of that stadium traffic wise,
So you wonder.
Speaker 1 (01:27:21):
It's like one road in one type thing. Yeah, yeah, all.
Speaker 4 (01:27:30):
Right, at least we could breathe a little bit tonight, right,
we get we got back on the track a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:27:34):
Hey, we get one more day of Phillies baseball. At
least one more day a Phillies baseball.
Speaker 3 (01:27:39):
And lean, you're talking current or all time? Who's your
favorite Philly.
Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
Well, yeah, like right now are all the time?
Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
My favorite guy is Ryan Howard.
Speaker 3 (01:27:56):
It's not a bad choice there the piece.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
Roy Halladay.
Speaker 4 (01:28:07):
I was a Lenny guy all time, even though it
was short. Everything I did growing up was Lenny ya
except hitting because I couldn't hit.
Speaker 1 (01:28:19):
But uh, Roy Halliday, if I gotta go, uh my
favorite hitter of all times? Chase that I worked twenty
six are not the yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:28:34):
Are not the love that that that trio, Wayne the
Payne he said he's older. He got Steve Carleton. There
you go. I wish I could have seen him. I
wish I could have seen him play. You know, Bobby
you bray you from the sweep Man nice. I think
(01:28:55):
he's definitely super underrated in this city because people.
Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
Just well, I mean he played here when the team
was so bad. He was good. Like, he's got borderline
Hall of Fame numbers. He's not going to get in.
Speaker 3 (01:29:09):
To tough to argue that one Johnny Michael Jack.
Speaker 1 (01:29:14):
Ye oh yeah, the park a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
I don't want to laugh too soon because it could
be celebrating on their own field tomorrow night.
Speaker 1 (01:29:25):
So look, hey, we we want We're gonna win one game.
We'll take it, you know, extend our season another day.
Speaker 2 (01:29:34):
Yeah, I would really love to get the Saturday. Give
me the Saturday.
Speaker 4 (01:29:38):
Yeah, yeah, should you fight give me the because you
look at the other series right Detroit, what wins games won?
Speaker 3 (01:29:45):
They went back and forth to get back and forth. Yeah,
there's there's many ways to get the five. Just get
the five.
Speaker 1 (01:29:51):
Let's get there somehow. But it would be that it
would be very very on brand. You both games at home,
win both and then just lay an egg.
Speaker 3 (01:30:04):
Yeah. So we didn't Arizona. Yeah exactly, did any Arizona series.
Speaker 4 (01:30:09):
You're like, all right, no problem yet, we're not playing
the greatest, but we're coming back home for game six
and seven or just game seven, right, Nope, nope, no, no, no,
we can't.
Speaker 3 (01:30:17):
We can't have nice things.
Speaker 1 (01:30:20):
It was six and seven though, yeah, I thought it
was there's two three too. Yeah yeah, yep, yep.
Speaker 3 (01:30:29):
We are known for that. Wait, sure, good fight back today.
We got it to tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
Yeah, like you're you're you're encouraged by the at bats,
especially against a guy like Kershaw, who again hasn't been
very hasn't been a great postseason pitcher, isn't a guy
that comes out of the panel whole lot. But like
a dude who pitched well this year. Right, You're going
out there, you're putting up good at bats and you're
gonna face You're gonna face Alrity tomorrow, who is very
like over the top. He's got that curveball, right, so
(01:31:02):
you're seeing that like again, and then you know you
just really just go from there, right, Like you force
them to throw more guys. You saw more guys out
of their bullpen today, right, who they again you may
end up coming at to see later. Right, It's just
it's just you're forcing them to have to use something
that isn't a strength for them in their bullpen, right,
(01:31:25):
which is you know, obviously we would have wanted them
to get into their pen a little bit earlier or
tack on earlier. But you know, you still get the
same result you want it, right, you just yeah, sure,
but it's it's good, it's good. You've you've seen some
good at bats. To the Harper Schwarber is hopefully out
of his punk. He's got two home runs tonight. JT
(01:31:46):
couple really good at bats, Kepler seeing the ball well, right,
like these guys it looked better tonight, Like okay, cool,
these are better at bats? Can we do it again tomorrow?
That's where it is.
Speaker 3 (01:31:59):
And you what made what made what Monday? Now? What
made Monday so frustrating? Like again, you lose, you lose Saturday.
It is what it is. It's not ideal, right, but
again it is what it is. But what made.
Speaker 4 (01:32:16):
H Jesus Monday, so, you know, so frustrating on top
of it was we know how good this team is
in serieses, right, like winning a series to where you
just need to go two and three in a series,
like we know how good this team is, and then
you factor in that yeah two are on the road
and then you come back for one. So all you
needed to do and hopefully we could still do that.
(01:32:38):
It's just a more unconventional way is to continue to
push it like you win game two. Obviously, we love
our chances because we know this team, there's no one
better this year of winning serieses. And that's what this
turned into being was winning a series.
Speaker 1 (01:32:54):
Yeah, instead of instead of winning a series. Now you
have this sleet right right, a really good team. Yeah,
you have to sweep of a team that's really really
good right now, obviously, or.
Speaker 2 (01:33:06):
You're gonna look at it. You gotta go, you gotta
go win three out of five somewhere. So it is,
it's another series. It's an extension of a three game series. Yeah,
it doesn't matter how you do it right, Like, you
know what I mean? Now again, I think their buttholes
tighten up a little bit, Dodge or wise for sure
to lead and now you're you're too two coming back
(01:33:27):
if that came to fruition.
Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
But right, you were right right Taiwan. That's why we
don't have up here.
Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
Yeah, I'm sick, man. You had a great time to
bring in Taiwan out here. Y'all mop up duty. Great job, guys.
I hate being right all the time. It's it's difficult, man,
It's very difficult.
Speaker 2 (01:33:54):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:33:55):
Eddie Ranger was awesome tonight and Noel was awesome. I
think we all, whether we wanted to announce it or not,
we all believe that Nola had that.
Speaker 1 (01:34:05):
No I mean, like, look, Nolan has been absolute nails
in the playoffs. He's been nails in the playoffs the
last couple of years. He's been so good. And that
last his last like two starts were really encouraging. He
went eight innings and then the one right before the playoffs. Yeah, right,
like you know, he was at ninety five to night.
His curve ball looked really good, right, Like you know
(01:34:28):
you're you're in LA. It's warmer out there. We all
know that he pitches better in warmer temperatures most part, like,
but ultimately, the guy's a big game pitcher.
Speaker 3 (01:34:39):
He is.
Speaker 1 (01:34:40):
Like he he pitched, he pitched in the college World Series, right,
he's been in the World Series. He closed out like
our first like get back to the playoffs game. Ever,
this dude, he lives for big games. You can he
can say, oh yeah, it gives up home runs. Oh yeah,
he does this. Yeah he does this beginnings that whatever.
The dude takes the ball outside of this year, he
(01:35:01):
takes the ball every fifth day. He goes out there,
gives you a quality start more often than not. I
love trusting it. I do. I absolutely love giving him
the start. I probably wouldn't let him keep going a
little bit more but again, no, the one bad thing
tonight was the one pitch after you took him out.
So either than that, whatever, it's okay, completely fine when
(01:35:22):
you have a guy like Ranger to back him up.
Perfect worked out, good job. Now I got Chris Sanchez tomorrow.
Fuck you got Chris Sanchez tomorrow. And really, just if
you put together similar past to what you had today,
(01:35:42):
I find it hard to believe that Tyler glasdw is
gonna be able to shut this lineup down.
Speaker 3 (01:35:46):
Well, and if you remember when we saw him in
Game one, towards the end.
Speaker 1 (01:35:49):
Of his.
Speaker 3 (01:35:51):
Outing, we were starting to get to him. Yeah, you know,
we were starting to get to him. Oh guy, oh
my god.
Speaker 1 (01:36:01):
Now what I don't want is time want to give
up like a home run here. I have to get
somebody like useful of I Don'tyeah, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:36:12):
I just can't believe you're walking guys.
Speaker 4 (01:36:16):
Yeah, because this, you know, put in theory work the
same way like the other night worked for us. Right,
we start to you know, start to uh hit the ball,
get some success there late in the game, and then
it rolls in we get yeah, we let now we
(01:36:37):
start letting these guys do the same thing against at
the end of the game.
Speaker 6 (01:36:41):
Yeah, yep, that's why you can't. You can't walk, guys, No,
you can't. Yeah, don't get to give him a soul, Homer.
Nobody want to want out, dude, I mean, throw strikes?
Speaker 2 (01:36:56):
Is in about you? You you you know, got to
be percasso. Yeah, yeah, I need. I just need a
freaking five year old just doing artwork. Slap it on.
Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
There, give me the old uh Scott kingri when you're
down fifteen runs type job here, just throw it over
the plate.
Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
Let him help me double play here and it might
have already happened. Who knows, not yet, not yet.
Speaker 1 (01:37:27):
I will let you know if it happens.
Speaker 3 (01:37:35):
I just like we talked about, I just don't want
to give confidence that top of the lineup against what time.
Speaker 1 (01:37:40):
Won walker right, like, don't yep, there you go twout.
Speaker 3 (01:37:45):
Don't want to give show a in and at bat
where you can start to feel good about himself.
Speaker 2 (01:37:52):
I wanted to up ninety four.
Speaker 1 (01:38:04):
Was up Edmund? Yeah take the pitch. It's not strike.
I'll take that.
Speaker 2 (01:38:15):
You been calling that pitch all night. You didn't get
the low one up, the low one out of the box.
He wouldn't do it, but he did that one all night.
Speaker 1 (01:38:23):
Oh my god, oh my god. Whatever, all right, the
aliens up, that's fun.
Speaker 3 (01:38:44):
I'm not sure if you if you were around, but No.
Speaker 4 (01:38:47):
One's last start was eight innings, two hits, one runs,
nine strikeouts. So yeah, so I know, I know you
love coming in here being negative and and shipping on everybody.
But that's what Aaron Ola does in big games or
late in the year. So that start alone, knew you
(01:39:10):
were you knew you were getting a Jesus Now we're
going to the bullpen.
Speaker 1 (01:39:17):
Why are we putting Tanner Banks and throw a different lefty?
Speaker 3 (01:39:22):
Throw my as Yeah, like why, oh my god, Taiwan
slapping the glove like like Tray could have gotten that ball.
Speaker 1 (01:39:39):
Even if he gets it, it's still a hit.
Speaker 3 (01:39:40):
It's it's not getting out out of it.
Speaker 1 (01:39:44):
Yeah, I mean, like you could be frustrated. He made
a decent pitch.
Speaker 3 (01:39:47):
Yeah, he should have put Stubbs in the lineup.
Speaker 1 (01:39:50):
Yeah, for sure, should absolutely be in the lineup. Put
him in there for uh, put put him out centerfield,
put out there.
Speaker 4 (01:40:00):
Yeah, Well, you're talking about the Arizona game, Tony, where
he won five innings, four runs, coming back from injury.
Lost the game three four to three. I mean, yeah,
lost it. But it's Aaron Ola coming back from an injury.
(01:40:22):
No one was I don't think anybody was really worried
about his actual stats. How about when he shoved against
the Mets, six innings, no runs, Phillies win one nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
Did you miss that game? It don't matter he won.
He pitched really well in two innings tonight.
Speaker 2 (01:40:42):
Anything for a friend, doone.
Speaker 4 (01:40:44):
Aaron Old has been big games his entire career. You
knew he was shoving tonight. I say, Wheeler hasn't, hasn't
been best pitcher, has been right there all year, every
step of his career.
Speaker 2 (01:41:07):
Thought they were pinching for a ton because the left
he was in.
Speaker 3 (01:41:14):
That's just Topper, That's just Topper Tony.
Speaker 4 (01:41:20):
You're obviously a Nola hater if you're saying he's inconsistent.
Dude's one of the best in the history this of
the of the team, of the organization. It's secondding strikeouts overall.
So up until this year, up until this year, this
year was bad.
Speaker 3 (01:41:34):
This year was bad. I ain't gonna career, but this
is the first bad year of his career.
Speaker 1 (01:41:41):
So so dumb. All right, good pitch there, we get there,
thank you, all right, all right, Game four tomorrow night.
Chris Sanchez, Tyler Glass now, tad of glass.
Speaker 3 (01:42:00):
Now, so they haven't even blown playback in for me yet.
Speaker 1 (01:42:07):
I mean his first pitch he rolled, I know, but
we haven't even got there. Yeah, that's crazy, that's actually insane. Yeah, man, Yeah,
for sure, the Aaron Nola blew the World Series. It
wasn't the fact the offense didn't hit for the last
three games.
Speaker 2 (01:42:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:42:23):
That's yeah, that's that's how.
Speaker 3 (01:42:24):
They The offense has been historically bad.
Speaker 1 (01:42:26):
Since you can call it, you can say that you're
you know, don't watch baseball a whole lot. It's okay,
you know, not everybody does.
Speaker 2 (01:42:35):
That's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:42:36):
Good ship, boys. We're back.
Speaker 1 (01:42:39):
Yeah, yeah, we got some help and we're still we're
still out, but we're or maybe kind of back, still
out over, kind of back. Give me some hope, man,
give me give me a give me a nice easy
Birds win tomorrow, right, give me a full complete game, right,
give me a Chris Stanchez Mattester class. Then we move
(01:43:01):
on to Saturday. Yeah right, let's let's let's figure it out.
Give me the Saturday somehow.
Speaker 2 (01:43:10):
Yeah, give me the Saturday is right now. Now, it's
just listen. I mean, I know they talk about this
stuff like naturally athletes still athletes talk about this. Athletes
talk about this stuff all the time. You go game
by Once you get that first one out of the way,
you know, now you're in a two to one series.
(01:43:31):
Just go get a game.
Speaker 3 (01:43:32):
Yeah, go one next game.
Speaker 2 (01:43:35):
Yeah. And sometimes when you don't play well at home
in the postseason, you haven't in a minute. Sometimes going
on the road is your best recipe for success. Right,
it's a little secret sauce. You play a little more
free and tomorrow. Pressure Dodgers essentially, I mean pressure on
the Phillies because their World series are boss. But in
(01:43:55):
terms of just like looking at it as a series,
like you don't they don't want to go back to Philly,
right right, so right, so, and you know not that
they're like, you know, scared to come back here and
play just won two games here, but they prefer.
Speaker 1 (01:44:08):
Yeah, yeah, they don't want to have to play cross country.
They don't want to have to do that again.
Speaker 3 (01:44:13):
No, not for one game. Ye o arange you hoty hi?
Speaker 1 (01:44:20):
No, but you you want to I don't want to
like jump the gun here. But you can call yourself
back to you know what Kevin Malar was saying back
in Oh for the Red Sox, Hey don't let's win
this game. Don't let's win this game. Then we got
like we got Chill going, we got we got Pedro
going tomorrow, we got Shill going game six. Anything can
(01:44:41):
happened game seven, right, like, o hey, don't let us
win tonight, right, Like you this was You're like, oh,
hey we got Aaron Nola's starting, he hasn't had a
good year, Rangers backed him up. We don't know what's
going to happen there. And now exactly now you got
Chris Sanchez, who essentially shut you down in game one,
(01:45:04):
right coming back out tomorrow to pitch against you, right
against your number four starter. Okay, for a chance for
us to think, oh, hey, we're gonna go back home now, like, hey,
just let's get back home, right. I mean, like when
when the Phillies went to the World Series in twenty two,
they were on a road trip for like three weeks.
(01:45:27):
Yeah they were, they went on it, right or like, no, no,
they they were.
Speaker 4 (01:45:32):
I wasn't the Seattle, Arizona where they were struggling really.
Speaker 1 (01:45:37):
Bad, maybe a little bit, but I know they ed
and I know they ended in Houston. They they clinched
in Houston. They're like all right, oh yeah yeah. And
then they went from Houston like directed to Saint Louis. Right,
It's like they weren't home for like two or three
weeks I remember, yea right, right, and then they they
then they went to Atlanta after that, and then they
(01:45:58):
finally come home and they was like, oh my god,
we're home. This is sick, all right, awesome. Then they
just rolled off everything. Right now, not to say that
they that I'm expecting these guys to do that, because
only it's only two games away.
Speaker 2 (01:46:12):
Right, they've been a better, but they've been a better
They've been a better postseason away team than they've been
a home team recently.
Speaker 1 (01:46:21):
Yeah recently absolutely say over.
Speaker 2 (01:46:24):
To stratch Day might even be better.
Speaker 4 (01:46:26):
Oh way, yeah, I've only won one game in the
last three years at home, yeah, or or since the
two years plus the Arizona series.
Speaker 1 (01:46:40):
Yeah, but again, you're like, you just extend yourself out
a little bit, right, you keep it going, and you
just see what happens. You just see what happens.
Speaker 3 (01:46:55):
Let's go from there, Let's go, let's go, let's do
it to more. Let's go, let's go three and o
tomorrow in the city. Let's do it. Yeah, I'll take
it two and one and I'll take with the Flyers loss.
Speaker 2 (01:47:08):
I'm with you. Yeah, I'm not rooting for Flyers out here,
but I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:47:13):
Absolutely, we'll sacrifice then.
Speaker 2 (01:47:16):
Yeah, it's bigger. It's bigger than bigger than one game sacrifice.
We crushed at the night, great show, like always, Birds
win tomorrow. Bill's looking to extend Game five. Get back here, CBP,
see if we can find a way. And you know,
Flyers open up. So you're hoping for something new and
(01:47:38):
you got to play best team in hockey. But either
either way, it's a it's a fresh star, it's the
new year, new manager, or or you know, hey, coach,
I'm sorry for the Canadians, but new new head coach
out there and and we'll see where. We'll see what
they are. Let's do it, see what they are. But
let's go enjoy your three piece of phil sports. Tomorrow, family,
(01:48:02):
I'll be on a baseball field, so I won't enjoy
any of them. Maybe the second half of the Eagles. Yeah,
I mean Tom might have to leave earlier to month.
I mean it's some things are bigger.
Speaker 1 (01:48:14):
Yeah, like hey man, I might go. I might go
turn the sprinklers on over in the field like a
damn we can't play too wet.
Speaker 2 (01:48:23):
Yeah, sorry man, I'll make sure your answers outside, then
I'll pay you.
Speaker 1 (01:48:29):
Get out of here, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:48:31):
It's been a two d Wednesday nights. We love you all.
Hit the like and subscribe on your way out, turn
your notifications on. We appreciate you. Go bird go, Flyers
go philst a couple more bell rings tomorrow. Give us
a Game five. Anything can happen in game five. Just
get it there, all right. We're not asking for a lot,
(01:48:52):
but Ryan O's it, Greg Malkovic, I'm Tom on we ah,
Tony's still upsets
Speaker 4 (01:49:00):
Tical period and then I limited Peria Patial Limited
