WWE Survivor Series WarGames did not live up to the hype: #AGREE or #DISAGREE?
Survivor Series Recap
Raw Recap
Last Time Is Now Tournament Finals Set
TNA Gets TV Deal With AMC

This past Saturday, WWE Survivor Series WarGames took place in San Diego, CA. As a Star-studded event, the results of the PLE have been met with mixed reviews.
Despite high spots, surprises, returns, and a stacked card of talent, the debate over whether this event fell short of the hype or if it is being overly-criticized and underrated has been loud, and we dive right into the debate.
We also discuss the Survivor Series fallout on Raw, including Jey Uso’s breakdown after losing to LA Knight, Liv Morgan’s impact, the debate if Seth Rollins is the hooded mystery man from WarGames, and what’s next for The Vision.
The finals of the Last Time Is Now Tournament are set, as LA Knight will challenge Gunther, who defeated Solo Sikoa. Who will win this match, and who needs the opportunity to face John Cena in his final match more?

The breaking news of the day came from TNA Wrestling when it was announced its brand new TV deal with AMC in early January 2026. How does this affect the brand, and will it create an opportunity for growth? Did their relationship with WWE create this opportunity?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So he has everything? So I'm in his folder in
the producer's side, and everything is in order. But the topic,
the poll question is at the dead top.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I was like, oh, I he.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Didn't have it in here. Survivor series war Games did
not live up to the hype. Agree or disagree obviously,
Like I said, we are seventy two hours removed from
Survivor series. Pet Co Park, Me and Butters have an
incredible live reaction show on Saturday. If you missed it,
go back check it out. You'll get some great insight
from us. But we'll start with you, Eric, Where do

(02:50):
you fall on this? Did it live up to the hype?
Did it not live up to the hype? Walk me
through it?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah? And also those of you that are joining in,
you know, we went to hear from you as well
on the on these topics, especially this one here. I
have to say, if I was somebody that was in
attendance at Peco Park, I may be a little upset about,
you know, the lack of matches. The some people I

(03:18):
saw didn't have had issues with their seats where they
got moved due to stage issues, so they re they
redid some of the configuration. If I'm somebody who thought
they were getting aw Blood and Guts Part two, then
clearly you're not. You're not getting You're not getting that,

(03:38):
and it's not living up to the hype. For me,
I disagree. And the reason I disagree is because I
feel like, especially the two War Games matches, you got
what you were hoping for, specifically with the men. And
we're going to talk about that as we move along,

(03:59):
not going to go into complete detail on it, but
I feel like each match had story going into it
that we either got a conclusion to it or it's
starting something new. We talked about it last week, where
Survivor Series is typically the pay per viewer of the
plee most of the time, where you start to plant

(04:21):
those seeds for WrestleMania season starting with the Royal Rumbles.
So I feel like we got that, especially when it
came to the Men's Wargames match. I feel like the
Women's Wargames match. I guess we're going to talk about it,
but I feel like there was purpose and agenda that
was accomplished in those matches. So I feel like it

(04:44):
did what it was supposed to do. Was it the
greatest ple ever? No? Do I feel like it's getting
a lot of bad rap on social media? One thousand percent.
I think it did what it was posted to deal.
So I disagree.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Well, let let's talk about that. It's it's getting a
lot of bad hype on social media, and I think
you hit the nail on the head at a certain point.
You said if you were looking for Blood and Guts
Part two, right one, you're you clearly aren't a w
WWE fan in tune with the product. If that's what
you were looking for, because never has WWE ever said, hey,
look what they did, we're gonna do it the same way,

(05:24):
especially something to that caliber of blood and guts, which
I will go on record that was too much. When
you're looking at Survivor series and you look at it
from a hole. It played out exactly how we thought
it was going to play out when it came to
the match card, when it came to the victors, who

(05:44):
was gonna win, who was gonna lose, So on that aspect,
it was a little predictable. But I think when you
look at how things played out, specifically with the way
that people were brought into each Wargames match, you got
very different dynamics throughout there, and for two matches to
both go on for forty minutes, obviously the women went

(06:06):
about thirty thirty ish seconds longer than the men. They
were the bulk of the show, and it was different
because it wasn't a baseball stadium. It was different because
you didn't have the shark cages. So there's some content
that we missed. We didn't see those interactions. So they
made small minute changes throughout the show that made it

(06:27):
feel like you took the Royal rumble and combined it
with Survivor series and specifically wargames, you know, having them
all get their entrances and come down to the ring
and everything like that. Do I think it lived up
to the hype? Here's the problem. WWE as a whole

(06:48):
from Saturday to even last night, they said that this
was going to be groundbreaking, It was gonna be revolutionary,
it was gonna be epic, it was going to be
something that we would talk about for ages and ages
and ages, and I think they backed themselves into a
corner with that. I think they created this unobtainable goal

(07:09):
for themselves when you only have four matches on the card,
this unattainable goal from themselves, when you're looking at really
some of your best stars all in one spot like we.
They even said it Saturday night, The men's wargame match
was an all star game. That's exactly what it was.

(07:32):
And I'm no sports guy, but even I know the
all star games are never live up to the hype
that they are supposed to, right, So do I think
they lived up to the hype? I gotta disagree, only
because the only thing you take away from Survivors series,
you take two things away from Survivor Series. You took

(07:55):
liv Morgan, Who's entrance And we'll get into it in
just a moment. We're gonna go through all the matches
whose return kind of fell flat, I think, And I
think part of that was because you're in an open
air stadium. I think part of that is people expected
it to happen, and then the mask man during the
men's match. So with those different things at play, it's

(08:18):
what did you give me? What did you bring to
the table, what did you say? What do we take
away other than John Cena's final ple okay wooho, big
whoop in the grand scheme of it all? I would
like to And I think the other problem is we
went in so excited because Survivor Series is the kick.

(08:41):
It's like the preseason right between Now to World Rumble.
This is preseason for WWE. You know, SummerSlam to Survivor
Series is like training camp. It's like spring training. Insert
your sport analogy here. Survivor Series to the Royal Rumble
that's preseason and then Rumbledo Mania that is the true

(09:01):
regular season. Do you know what I mean? There is
no postseason. There is no because then you go straight
into the draft and other stuff, and I can make
sports analogies about entire WW year. We all went into
this really thinking we were gonna get more and I
want to jump into the matches right now, and I
want to go straight into you know, the women's match.

(09:23):
They kick off the show, you know, Team Ria aj Lee,
Alexa Blisch, Charlotte Flair, Eo Sky, and Ria Ripley. They
take down Team Moscow, which was Becky Lynch, last legend,
Naya Jackson and the Kabooki Warriors. I was obviously live,
so some of my stuff, you know, we were exclusive
on Lazy Booking podcast over on YouTube and we're also

(09:45):
on my Twitch channel. Thank you guys. Also, by the way,
for the support on all that. We had an amazing time.
What did you think of the match?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
So I think, like, like I was saying, you know,
things that were kind of expected in the and we
talked about it last last week, where at least I
was under the assumption that Becky Lynch was going to
be the one that was going to take the take
the fall, only because of kind of her story that's
been going on with the conspiracy and and blaming everybody

(10:17):
for for kind of starting a down downward trend. So
I think that in that part of it, it lived
up to the purpose. But I think especially we talked
about also highlighting the younger talent, and I think this
may have been a missed opportunity to highlight lash legend

(10:38):
a little more. I know she got a few spots
in and she was the last woman to enter on
the on the on the bed, on the bad Girls
on the hillside, so you would figure she'd come in
and just go and go to town and throw people around.
She did a little bit, but I kind of wanted
to see I wanted to see more. I wanted to
see more of a of an impact. I think there's

(11:01):
still of course, she just came up from NXT, so
of course there's plenty of time for her to to
to get that. But I think in that stage, at
that with forty plus thousand people at PECO and watched
on ESPN, I think that was a missed opportunity to.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
I'm gonna stop you. I'm gonna stop you right there.
I disagree, And the reason I disagree is because as
soon as I threw it to you and I said,
what did you think of the women's wargame match. The
very first thing you brought up was last legend. I
think that having her come out last, and she took
her time, she soaked all that in the and they

(11:42):
stayed with her. They didn't like cut back to the
ring for half a step, No, they stayed with her
the entire time that she walked down to that ring,
because she did. She walked. She didn't even put a
little pepperer step. She took her time. She got in
there and she started just leveling people left and right,
and they really made her look like such a million dollars.

(12:05):
And fast forward to the end of that match, she
takes an awful miss from Osca. I don't think Oscar
was really ready for how tall she was. She took
an awful miss from Oscar, and it protected her from
everything that would follow on that. They did a great
job protecting last year. They did a great job highlighting

(12:28):
last year. This was Lash's match.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
I don't agree because I think we I wanted to.
I agree that she got her licks in, but I
wanted to see more. I think it could have been
It could have been more.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
And I get what you're saying with that, because when
we talk about the men's match. I wanted more, and
so I get that that logic, but I don't want
to take away from what she did because given the
opportunities she took all of them, and all other nine
women in there helped make her look fantastic for being

(13:06):
the youngest on the roster in that match, for being
the one with the most inexperienced in a match like that,
in a setting like that, in front of those that
many people, they made her look great. Not that she's
not great, but they all helped elevate her. They did
their jobs and she did hers in return.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
I think I think, I just think it's overshadowed by
that last segment, that last part with Oscar, But I
just think I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Let me ask you this question, and we're jumping ahead
to Raw a little bit. But if she's in, if
her and Naya are in that segment at the end
of last night, or even at the start of the
night when Ria and EO come out and then Charlotte
and Alexa come out, if they're involved in that in
any way, shape or form, does that change your mentality

(13:57):
on it?

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Maybe a little, just because they highlight and we're going
to talk about it, and I think that was one
of the highlights of Raw was the emergence of tag
teams on the women's side. All of a sudden, now
you've got a series of women's tag teams that have
organically been created, and now that could have been one there,

(14:21):
And maybe maybe that continues because you can defend the
tag titles on rollind smack Now, maybe maybe we see
that Friday night, but maybe I think just because it's
momentum that you can you can bring and if you're
coming in and want a highlight her even more, it's
a way to do that. But I'll wait till you know, SmackDown.

(14:41):
If we see, if we see a little bit of
her and Aya kind of getting involved in and continuation
of kind of that momentum we're seeing, then then maybe
I think. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
I think it's also hard because the Kabookie Warriors are heels,
and so are Lash and nin Yeah, because taking the
mist lashould have very easily come out there and just
leveled Osca, but she's the heel. They're not going to
do that during the fight. So there's ways to do that,
I think, And again it's a it's a catalyst of

(15:18):
them backing themselves a little bit into a corner by
putting them in this War Games match. I do think
though that lash did phenomenal. But let's talk a little
bit more about some of the spots. We We had
EO Sky bringing the track sorry a j Lee, Maria
Ripley brought out a EO's trash Can James gave it

(15:41):
to her with the most adorable up seas that ever
in the planet Earth. And then but no one, I
don't know if I know, we didn't catch it on
the live, but she does EO's taunt while on Rhea's
shoulders as EO jumps off the cage, which was a

(16:04):
great spot if anything here, And I want to focus
on Becky Lynch for a moment, having Jessica Carr in
the ring, having Jessica Carr be a part of that
finish is really important for the storyline for Becky Lynch.
But it was interesting they mentioned in the pre show,

(16:24):
and we talked about it a lot on the live.
If somebody left the ring, then that would have forfeited
them for their team. That was the moment you should
have had Becky dip out of the ring when EO
takes all of them out. Becky should have just walked over,
kicked the door open and gotten out.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Didn't she try at once?

Speaker 2 (16:47):
She tried to climbing the cage and they brought her
back in and that's when they all hit her with
the different moves and page on our page. AJ locked
her up in the black widow. But that was because
you didn't do it in the men's match. You made
such a point to highlight it. Where was it from here?

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Well?

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Where where where were you going to do it? And
that would have fit Becky with what she's doing boycotting
Raw right now, how she's calling out Jessica Carr, how
she's calling out Adam Pearce, you know, and saying she
never tapped. It would have fit so well right there,
and it would have given everybody on her team. You know, if,

(17:27):
for example, Lash Lash could have turned around and bicycle
kicked Becky Lynch last night, as you know what, when
Becky was doing her boycott promo on social media, Lash
could have cut through and bicycle kicked her or something
because she gave up on the team and that kind
of dynamic which would have sakened a face turn and

(17:50):
it might not be all that bad. You don't have
a lot of heels over on SmackDown that are singles,
and you really don't. You got to. You gotta set
the stage and lay a foundation for these people and
the heels that they do have you're not doing much with.
I think your best heel woman on SmackDown right now

(18:11):
is it's Jade is Jade, but then a close second
is Zelena.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Don't forget Chelsea Green too, so you got don't.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
It's weird though I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
She's easy, she's easy to yeah, and that and the
way that they're talking about SmackDown, But it's kind of
weird after last Friday, who's the heel and who's the
baby face with Jade and and Chelsea? So it's like,
are you programmed? Like where's that going? I'm sure it's going.
Jade's gonna just wreck everybody and doesn't matter who it is.

(18:44):
But yeah, but I think too there's not a lot
of baby faces over on that on there either, so
that could be an opportunity for somebody to step up
and face Jade until the inevitable Bianca.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Return correct, And I think that's what you need. You
need to set that up.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Going back to going back to the match real quick,
What did you think about I see a lot I
see people on that and I think I'm getting I'm
going through down rabbit hole sometimes and people complaining. And
one of the things I hear is aj Lee didn't
get involved in the match at all except for except
for the end, and she didn't do anything, like she's

(19:22):
not supposed to do anything. She's a she part of
her I think too, like a War Games match with her,
I think it's by name only, like she's in it
for the for the name, like you're gonna put her
in the match, not to do like power move. She's not.
That's not what she does. She's she's more of a uh,

(19:44):
you know, psychological tactic type wrestler. So for her to
be in the match, it's all it's great. I'm glad
she was in it, and it furthers that story with
with Becky. But I think she's just getting too much.
You know, there's just too too high of expec for somebody,
especially she hasn't she hasn't wrestled much in the last decade,

(20:06):
so to expect her to come into a war Games match,
and like Greek Havoc is just like that's just crazy.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
I made the analogy on the Live and I don't
remember which match it was. If it was the Men's
War Game of the Women's War Game, you really treat
it like the Royal Rumble. So if you think about it,
everybody comes down, they all get their ninety seconds, two minutes,
whatever it is, before the next person comes out. Aj
did great in her two minutes that she had, right,

(20:35):
and then they all kind of did individual things. She
was a part of things when she was a supporting character.
This was not for her to be the main star
of this match. Ultimately, she would be involved in the
finish because it helps further her storyline with Becky, which
we all know is not truly done. Which, by the way,
shout out to aj Lee and see them punk. Their

(20:57):
dog did pass away. I believe it was a morning.
So our thoughts and prayers are with them as we
go through this, as they go through this. I'm sorry,
but this was not hers. This was to further a
storyline by using the finish. This match was for literally
everybody else. Her and Becky were only in there because

(21:18):
Becky didn't do much either. No right, I think Becky
was supposed to do some more of the spots, but
the chain, specifically the chain that Kyrie brought down to
the ring. I don't think that chain was big enough
to wrap around all three of the faces, so Becky
had to hold it. I think that spot was to

(21:39):
have all three of them do the drop kick, because
you see Becky's face, she looks a little concerned, a
little confused. Is wait a minute, this worked earlier that
it was definitely for them. I think everybody was highlighted
very very well throughout that match. I think everybody kept

(22:00):
up throughout that match. If I put the two matches
against each other, the men's versus the women's, I enjoyed
the women's more, and I think it's because it just
it had a better flow and we didn't leave ourselves
going what the hell just happened?

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Agreed, Oh, all right.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
We're gonna skip the John Cena Dominic Mysterio match for
just a moment because that's gonna really lead us into
some money might raw stuff as well. So we're gonna
go straight to Stephanie Gockare Nicki Bella. This was exactly
what you thought it was going to be. It was
a solid match. I think Nicki showed she doesn't really

(22:47):
have the ring rest we all thought she was going
to have, and being able to go in there with
somebody like Stephanie b Beckare, who comes from a different,
different background than anything Nicki had ever faced in her
original run and is really at her peek at the
at the top of her game, Nicki not being an
active star for a long time. I think these two
worked very very well together, and I know that this

(23:12):
feud is not over by no stretch of the imagination,
but it was a good showing for both and I
think Stephanie defeating a Hall of Famer like Nikki, who
was a dominant champion in her era, really helped solidify
her run as well.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Definitely. I also like you kind of point you kind
of pointed to the fact they worked well together. I
think Stephanie is showing that she can make anybody look good.
She made you know, Tiffany Stratton look good with their
match a few months back. It was that Crown Jewel
but or one of those, But I think this was

(23:51):
the right person for for Nicky to get in the
ring with. I think Nicki held her own, she did
a good job, and not much more to say about
that one. I mean, I think I think you're right.
I think probably you probably get another another match out
of that before they seems like they tease some stuff
on raw, but we'll get into that too well.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
And NICKI t I don't know if you saw it
on social media, Nicky said when my face heels I'm
coming after you, because nick was playing off the two
Devil's kisses that she got, which by the way, and
I'm not going down the path. He's thinking, I'm gonna
go down with this. I don't know if Nicky doesn't
know how to take the move. I don't know if

(24:31):
nobody told her what to do. I don't know if
that was intentional for a story. But good Christ Almighty,
woman puts your hands out like your her hands were
like they were tied behind her back, and her face
was just hitting the mat. I don't know. There's some

(24:52):
of stephanie'sne's there to help prevent that, but there were
a couple of times I'm like, wait a minute, I
think she really hit there.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Yeah, it's it's because sometimes when they when the the
woman whoever's taking it, you know, kind of does it
way too much. And this was not in my not
not enough or not at all.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
And I remember I don't remember who it was, but
I remember one n XT Stephanie did the move to
somebody and you hear Stephanie go put your hands up. Mmm.
So we didn't hear that on Saturday because I had
I had audio all Saturday in my ear. We never

(25:32):
heard that, which I thought was interesting. So I think
there was a little bit of story behind that, I
at least hope, because to take that a little unprotected
is crazy.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yeah, and if and if it has to do with it,
hats off to Nikki for taking that.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
That's that's what I have to say about that.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Men's war games.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Yeah, let's do the men's War games. This frustrated me
so much because you have, I mean, you literally have
all of your top guys in this match. You have
both of your world champions. You have easily first ballot

(26:25):
Hall of famers in Roman Raids and brock Lesnar. You
have Drew McIntyre, who's been on top of the world
for years, Jay Usso who's been so important these last
few years, Logan Paul up and coming, but such a
social media darling, infamously darling. Right, you know, we all

(26:48):
thought Jimmy USO was gonna take the L here number one.
That's why he was in this match. Of all of them,
he has the least impact. He's always been a supporting character.
But you have Punk take the L from Braun Breaker. Okay,
I did say it. If we were gonna do something

(27:09):
with Braun, we were doing it at Survivor Series, So
at least I come out right on that. But then
you throw this mysterious figure in the in the fray
and he hits a perfect curb stump, I mean a
perfect curb stump on Punk, And now you're trying to

(27:35):
tell me it might be Seth Robins. At least on
Raw that was the Adam piercepit. Oh wait, you didn't
tell me who it was at all. Your promo in
the ring didn't allude to him at all. This is
where I wanted more. I wanted the reveal if you
wanted to leave that match, which was a cluster because

(27:55):
you had Roman and Brock fighting outside the ring. Yeah,
that made a ton of cents. Brock stepped out of
the ring before the rest started, so his team didn't forfeit.
But Brock steps out of the ring to meat Roman
out there, and they beat the crap out of each other.
Then go in there and Brock throws everybody around for
a little bit, and then he just takes a nap.
He took a nap. He wasn't part of the last

(28:16):
ten five minutes of the match. Roman not part of
the last five minutes of the match. Right, the reveal
should have happened Saturday night. It will die on this
hill because then Monday night when you go to Raw,
which is supposed to be this big, epic, huge role

(28:38):
of the year. We started out with EO and Rio.
When is the brown Breaker segment? Not even not even
at the top of the hour. It's at the bottom
of the first hour, rolling into the top what oh,

(28:59):
and we don't mention it at all. Bron Breaker has
a borderline aneurysm in the ring. I'm confuzzled.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Can we talk a little more about the war Games?
What was that?

Speaker 2 (29:15):
So we're all talking about the wargames?

Speaker 1 (29:17):
I'm just no, no, no, no, I mean, like I
was going, I'm continuing.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Like, where where it falls flat for me?

Speaker 1 (29:26):
What is that?

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Go ahead?

Speaker 1 (29:29):
No, no, You're good.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Where it falls flat for me is that you did
nothing in this match? You did forty minutes of twiddling
your thumbs. Jay us so not understanding where he is
half the time, and then you you have such an
anti climactic end, and then the bit after with Roman

(29:52):
and Punk and Roman and Cody this is the last
time we team up, and like it made me so mad,
Like I wasn't mad on the air because and I
think part of that was because we were on the air.
I was enjoyed doing the live reactions. We had a

(30:13):
good time. It was a great show. I've had time
to think, and the match pissed me off. Go ahead,
of course, Brinkman thinks it's a solid paper view. Of
course he died.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
So two things that you didn't allude to to the
match that I'm kind of puzzled with is what was
the deal with Cody's elbow to Punk? And then they
allude to it a little bit like when they were together,
the three of them with Roman and he's like, you
hit me in the face, what's that? And then they
walk off together, So like, what was that all about?

(30:51):
The Other thing? Why? Why? Why in the middle of
a War Games match do you decide to turn the
music back on it? Do some yeats.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
I didn't have a problem with them turning the music
back on for two reasons. One, I am not an
aw guy. I'm not a fan of it at all.
What I am a fan of is when they do
the anarchy and the arena match and they just have
music playing while there's people beating the crap out of

(31:25):
each other selfishly. I enjoyed that, right, Okay, fine, But
then to have Bronx music. You don't even do a timer,
You did nothing. Brocks just said screw it and cut
it off. That was perfect. That was a great setup
for brock Lesner. It was his way of saying, screw
your rules, screw everything. So it served a purpose. Now

(31:51):
if it did, if they got through it and nothing
happened and Brock didn't come down to the ring or
whatever have you, Okay, fine, I'm pissed, but I think
here it served its purpose.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
You're talking about missed opportunities in Roman not being in
the match five minutes, but you're okay with that, You're
okay with three to four minutes of music playing that
they're doing nothing. We got punk playing air guitar. I mean,
first of all, you're missing there, You're missing you're missing
parts of the like that's opportunity that you could have

(32:26):
had another spot instead of like for the for the
live crowd.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Cool.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Like if I'm in the if I'm in the crowd,
they hear that great. But if I'm watching it on
on ESPN or Netflix or whatever, I'm like, what the
hell is this?

Speaker 2 (32:37):
So so two things right, One, I think some things
should be for a live crowd. Do it for the
sake of having the live crowd. I'm I've been to
a lot of shows, right, and sometimes that stuff kind
of wakes people up and brings them back in. Do

(32:58):
you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (32:59):
It was.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
I won't say it was a long show because it
really wasn't. It was only two and a half hours
something like that.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
A lot of breaks and there were.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
A lot of breaks, a lot of breaks. But so
you need and also you're gonna have forty five thousand
people in there and you're not gonna give them a
moment to yeat. Which let's let's let's call it what
it is. It is the most over entrance in professional wrestling.
It's what people love doing.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
If they wanted it, come out first, have him come
out first. That's the thing. Like, I see your point.
I'm not saying you're wrong. Oh, I know. Yeah, Like
I just think it was out of I get the concept,
and I agree with you that like it served a purpose.
I get.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
What he wants. Here's the other problem, though, Jay can't
go the full time. He gets too he gets blown
up too easily. And we saw that when he was
a world champion. We saw it when he would come
down to the ring and he would yat and be
winded by the time the Mattris start. So I'm okay
with that again looking at it from a storyboard, right,

(34:09):
if you have Brock Lesner come out during his music,
you didn't do a timer for Brock. You didn't do nothing.
It was Brock's way of saying, screw your rules, I'm
not waiting your three minutes. It felt like forever, I
think because they didn't change camera angles. They really just

(34:29):
stayed there. So I think it felt like forever, but
I don't think it was really all that long.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
And then Brock comes down and starts wrecking shop on everybody.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Yeah, I'll say too. We talked about earlier about like
the shark cages, and I'm a huge proponent and a
fan of the shark cages. Now I know they did.
They didn't do them in WCW. I got that all week.
They didn't do them in the original wargames, Okay, but
they did them starting an NXT, and we've seen some

(35:02):
really good moments out of those. We saw a Dakota
Kai turn on Teagan Knocks. We see, yeah, like we've
seen some really good moments in those things. Now. I
get that. The stage was extremely small, and I saw
some on the pregame show. I guess it was brought
up about the the people, the wrestlers coming out through

(35:27):
the dugout, so they couldn't so they made so it
logistically made sense not to have the shark cages. But
I think just the uniqueness and the aura of those
cages and wanting to see would it had been hilarious
if brock Lezer's and a shark cage with these guys
and like that.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
That's where I'm a big it is.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Yeah, Like it's just a different look, it's a different feel.
It's it's different than a Royal Rumble type entrance. If
I want to see the Royal Rumble type entrance, I'll
watch the damn Royal Rumble. But I think it could
have been done like it just took away from the
element of war games. If you if you don't have

(36:07):
them out there altogether like the original war games were,
then the shark cages make sense. If you don't have
those and you have them just coming out like it's
you get the surprise element only for the middle people,
not the first couple, you know. So I just think
it takes away more than I.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Agree with you, and I one hundred percent agree with you.
The only other thing I'll say to that is the
way they've been and especially in this match, that they
had Brock and Roman interact, and then the way Brock
met him at the ramp. Them not having the shark
cages work here, because if you had the shark cages there,

(36:48):
there's no there's no denying the fact that Brock would
have either broken out right or both him and Row
they would be talking shit to each other across the state.
They would both just come out and start brawling right
there on the stage, which for us would have been great,
but for the overall match would have fell incredibly flat.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
I get it. I would have had if they had
the shark cages. I would have had them to come
out first and then just brawl and do the same
spots that they did in the in their in their
they're part of the match, right.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
I thought there was a there was a light, so
if you if you watch it back, they do a
hard cam shot where there's the ring and then there's
a ramp. Here's the stage. There was a light shining
down as a golden light shining down on what I
thought was a platform. And I didn't say it out loud,

(37:45):
but in my head, I'm like, maybe that's where they're
putting the cages. Because I didn't watch the free show.
I had to work, so I missed all of that,
and I'm like, maybe they're putting it right there. And
obviously they didn't, but that would have been cool to
have them kind of like one on one side of
the crowd, one on the other side of the crowd.
They come through the crowd to get into the match.

(38:06):
Could have been something different.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Definitely. I agree you.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Want to talk about the elbow. I want to talk
about the elbow, just like they did. I think in
the moment it served its purpose to kind of tell
that everybody doesn't fully trust each other on this on
this team. And then I think we're gonna see that

(38:33):
long term as well, because I think we're getting some
kind of triple threat between the three of them. It's
gonna be weird because I don't think they're gonna unify
the titles again, but I think we're gonna get some
kind of weird triple threat or instance where Cody would
fight Roman and Punk and all this stuff would stack.

(38:58):
So while I don't think we saw well, I don't
think I know, we didn't see a payoff right there
in the moment, don't forget about that mode, because I
think it's gonna have some kind of long term effect.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
And we've seen those seeds planted with them too, just
little things like Monday Night about who who QB one is?
You're on my show, Like little little breadcrumbs like that
that will add up at the end. And I agree
with you. I think the key is and I think

(39:33):
your point is valid. How do they get there? Right?
And I was a little surprised, But it's happy and
we're going to talk about with with Raw where that
match is going to happen sooner than the Royal Rumble.
So there's an opportunity if that's the plan for Punk
to drop the title there. There's there's a there is

(39:55):
a way to get there if they really wanted to.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
But yeah, and it was nice to of them not
have that synergy coming in because we knew that the
bloodline or some I'm gonna refer to them, there would
be synergy there. It was nice to show that, hey,
all this smack talk that we'd had earlier in the
week didn't kind of go away just magically, and we're
all operating at like a well oiled machine. So I

(40:20):
was okay with that. All right, let's go, let's talk
about the John Cena Dominant Mysterio match, because I think
that's gonna carry into everything else that we have.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
Yeah, we're saying a lot in the chat about uh
Dom and Live, so we're gonna, yeah, we're gonna dive
into that.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
So John Cena drops the title to Dominant Mysterio. Again.
I'm okay with that. I wanted that. I asked for
that because it means that the last time is now
tournament finals. I mean, the match at Saturday's main event.
It's not for the inter content of title. We didn't
want that. We didn't that. We're cool with that. Here's

(41:02):
the part that has me perplexed. And I know you guys.
You guys went off yesterday you and Chrome did talking
about I'm sorry Sunday, talking about how Raquel and Roxanne
came down to the ring with Dominick out the gate,
and then you had Finn and JD come down halfway

(41:23):
through the match. They never explained how we're all back
on the same page again. Yeah, why, Like I was
fine with the match that night when it all went down,

(41:44):
it made sense, but I had it all end in
a different way, right, Like it made sense for Roxanne
and Raquel to be out there because then it would
justify Live's return. Right. She comes out, she you know,
fights them off. She's coming back as a baby face.
She cost Dominic the title, you know, revenge for forgetting
about her and ignoring her. And when in the judgment

(42:06):
day fall apart, Like all of that that made sense,
then you had JD and Finn come down. While I'm
happy that they got the moment with John, you weren't needed.
You guys could go back and play WWE two K

(42:27):
twenty six.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Right.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Having Live come out when she did was perfect. Having
her come down and seemingly Paula John Cena was chrome
didn't like it. I didn't mind it because it initially
I didn't catch at that. Then she was doing it
like it because but I said it on the air too.

(42:54):
I popped for her return even though we all saw
it coming. And then when she jumped in Sina's arms,
those eyes, John went angry, Live went crazy, yeah, and
Live did it so much better than John did. And
then she planted her foot.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
In the John Wiena like.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Like, there are NFL teams watching that back and going
we should sign her. Here's looking at you, Eagles. There
you go, Jake Elliott's out of a job. But then
you have there was nothing wrong with the match. I
thought they put on a great match. I thought they

(43:42):
did the wrestling and it was great. This is where
we transition out of Survivor series and we kind of
go into Money n at Row where Live comes out.
You know, after Dominic does his little bit saying how
he beat John Cena, He's the greatest fault he should
be the great full time Gracedill Champion of all time.

(44:02):
Live comes out. She says, the judgment day has become weak,
the judgment day has become soft. We're going to take
back everything we lost. This was where you set up
that civil war. She should have in that moment kicked
somebody out of the group, and I thought it was
gonna happen, you and I both it didn't.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
I'll say this, I think after what happened on RAW,
I kind of understand the Judgment Day all over that match,
I'll say, And I think because of where they want
to go with Judgment Day, that was kind of the

(44:50):
purpose of all that. I was fine with Raquel and
Rock stand out there, but I and I think you
and I talked about this. We kind of assumed since
those two were out there, because they really weren't coming
out for any of his matches in recent in recent weeks,
So with that, it kind of gave it away that
something was gonna go down, maybe Live was coming back.

(45:13):
And then when they got kicked out, which I thought
was was great. I thought that sequence was great. I thought, uh,
getting Pop Rocks in and getting the power bomb in.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
And good for John. Good for John for saying, hey,
yeah this moment.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
Yeah, absolutely, And I think that's the intention of maybe
overbooked as our as our pal Chrome has said about
this match, maybe maybe overbooked, but serve the purpose for
what happened on Raw. But also I'm sure Seena was like,
get all these guys in here, let let me, let
me sprinkle that Scena dust all over it and make

(45:51):
make them work good. Yeah. So now with LIV coming back,
I liked it. I thought, I thought it was I
thought it was extremely well done. I think and I
and I said it last week. I thought Dom would win,
not Clean. I figured it was gonna be some shenanigans
and lo and behold lives back. Now to your point

(46:13):
about RAW, I thought Live with because you kind of tease.
They tease it a little bit too. If you watch
the pre show, not the pre show, like the when
they come out and they're walking into the parking lot,
Live says hello to everybody except for one person, and
that was Rock Sanne. So I'm like, ah, she's gonna
come out here and say Rents due and that's it.

(46:35):
She's she's out And didn't happen. Now what happened at
the end of RAW, I guess maybe maybe with long
term storytelling, maybe because we kind of see who's leading judgment.
They now it's not finnbalor not even He's like he's
like the third person now it's Live and Dom that

(46:58):
are now the leaders of Judgment Day. It's it's it's
a foregone conclusion. So maybe the long term, long term
storytelling is we're gonna destroy it from within and start
our own thing once once we take care of of
the excess baggage. But maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
It was also interesting you talk about the promo on
Monday night. It took her forever to mention Raquel, and
it felt very off. I think the more we talk
about it, her not acknowledging Roxanne, her giving Roxanne the

(47:43):
title and raising their hand. I think that's her saying, hey,
you know what, Roxanne, you were just a pout of this.
You were brought in to by somebody else to try
to take everything away from me. You we can't fault
you for that because then when I went down, you
stepped up and tried to hold on to, you know,

(48:05):
keep this thing together. But there's been one person pulling
the strings from behind the scenes that has been wanting
to see everything that we've worked so hard to build fail,
and that's Finn Balor. And I think that's a way too,
because ultimately it's gonna be Living Dom versus Finn in

(48:26):
some aspect, right, JD McDonald's been getting the rub for
main event guys too, you know, kind of elevate himself
and prepare him for a singles run, because I think
when he sees that there's dissension between the two, I
don't think he takes any side. I think he beats
up on both of them. And I think it does

(48:47):
a triple threat between those three. And I could see
JD walking out with the title, but that's just that's
wishful thinking. But this is ultimately going to be Finn
versus Dominic. I think it's also gonna slightly turn into
Riquel versus Live.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
Or at least or at least Live in Rock Sande.
Maybe it's kind of just like a smoke screen for Hey,
I saw what you were doing. I saw you were
trying to take over for me. I saw you put
my picture in the back of the back of our clubhouse,
trying to forget about me. Well, guess what, I'm back,
and I'm gonna act like I like you. Here's Here's.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
Yeah, it's very possible, I will say, coming down a
Survivor Series weekend, this was done. I think of everything
the best because this is what we're all talking about.
We're not talking about the masked figure as much as
I think we should be because it was a main
event spot where we're talking about live and dominic, and

(49:57):
I think it's also we've anticipated lives return for alone.
I think they did a great job kind of hyping
it up. I think it fell flat Saturday night, partly
because it's an open arena, partly because you just randomly
had the Judgment Day out there with no explanation, I.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
Will say though, and probably a good part of that
has to do with John Cena being involved over the
last couple of weeks with the Intercontinental title. It served
its purpose as far as making dom and not only
Dom now, but now you've made the Judgment Day relevant again.

(50:37):
We've kind of talked about where it's like, when is
the end for this group? This this group has kind
of just been flailing around, We'll win the tag team titles.
Now we don't have them like kind of just doing
up like you were saying, playing playing two K twenty
six in the in the clubhouse. It's kind of what
they were been relegated to. But now they've been given

(50:59):
kind of a little bit of more of a of
a scene of rub where now maybe we're gonna see
a little bit more out of the group, especially, I
mean we're gonna see Live and Dom and lives already
getting movie rolls again. So I mean it's it would
be foolish not to use that as as momentum and

(51:21):
leverage to push Live even further up in popularity. I
mean they're heels, but I mean her and Her and
Dom together are over like Rover.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
No, I agree, and it's stayed with Monday Night Raw.
And let's talk about the brown Breaker segment.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
You sound like you hated it. You said you didn't
like it.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
So part of it was so I streamed last night
on Twitch and I caught bits and pieces of it
because I muted and had gone to commercial, and so
I muted it and I was doing I was playing
Fortnite while I was doing it, because I obviously have
an awful attention span, And by the time I pulled

(52:06):
it back, I just saw bron freaking out. And the
ending felt very because Loogan Paul got on the mic
and was like, yeah, like, all right, this ended weird.
How do you feel about it? Walk me through it?

Speaker 1 (52:18):
So I'll say that bron Breaker as we've seen since
since the vision was was formed with the original, which
the original with Seth kind of been in the background,
not really highlighted. We've seen Bronson. We talked about this
where yeah, Bronson got his big win and we were
waiting for Braun and I will say, going real quick,

(52:39):
going back to the ending of that War Games, that's
the one thing that I'm that I'm that I'm happy about.
And we talked about this and Chrome was spot on.
I'll give I'll give him his props. I'm kissing, I'm
kissing ass and sor. Right, he got he got the
he got it right that Punk was gonna take the
win over bron Breaker. And if there's one good thing

(53:01):
that came out of that, it's bron got his win.
One good thing about work of the Men's War Games matches.
Bron got got the win.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Okay, you said it backwards, that's what threw me off.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Oh sorry, but Bron got it. I'm rewinding. I'm sorry.
So Bron got his win. So he grabs the mic
and says he starts talking about Punk, saying that he
thought it was going to be tougher to beat him,

(53:33):
and he's Uh, he's a paper champion. And he segues
the Seth rollins being a narcissist. Oh he called uh,
he called punk a bitch, and I did hear that part? Yeah,
he said, And then he segued to Seth being a
narcissist and having to worry about his wife being the
bigger star of the family. And it was a solid promo. Now, yes,

(53:58):
he yelled quite a and I think maybe some of
that was rehearsed and forced, but you know what coming
from him. I mean, we talked about how we've talked
about where Roman Reigns started as in twenty sixteen, twenty seventeen,
couldn't cut a promo to save his life, and we
all know about the suffering suck attached promo. See, I

(54:18):
can't even say it. Where he has come from that point,
from that point, from that point to now, where bron
Breaker is is world ahead of where Roman Reigns was.
If that's his first promo, cool.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
I guess my problem with broun Breaker is you're an
unpredictable badass. Fine, you're loud and heavy hitting in the ring. Fine,
what would be scarier is if you were really controlled

(54:57):
and methodical and and level tone when you're talking on
the mic the whole like freaking out and yelling. It
feels too gimmicky. It feels very much like his dad, right,
Like I'm waiting for him to just start barking at
a certain point, and not even like a like a

(55:19):
fun mark, like a yippie mark, like a yippie dog,
you know, because his voice so one. His voice cracked
at the end of that promo last night. I'm new here,
but everyone's saying the theory.

Speaker 1 (55:34):
We'll talk about we'll talk we can talk about that
in a minute too.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
Yeah, well we'll give us one second. Rock Yeah, yeah, absolutely,
But his voice cracks at the end of that promo
last night, and it's just I don't know, it took it.
It took it away from me. If he's just methodical
with it to the point that instead of Paul Haymen

(55:58):
like chuckling in the background and logan Paul yeah right,
like have them all be a little scared to be like,
wait a minute, he's gonna kill us. That would be
better for his character for me than the yelling, because
then at a certain point, I'm.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
Like, I don't need to listen to you anymore. Especially
I'm gonna swue you out, especially when you have the
you have the oracle Paul Hayman by your side. Let
him do all the talking, let him, let him, you know,
say those things, yeah, shut up, yeah, and then he
can come in and do his thing. And I mean, now,

(56:35):
they've set up this match for the first week of Raw,
for the for the world title.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Which is dumb, which is dumb, which is dumb, which
is dumb. You can't change my mind that we're gonna
do the anniversary of Raw on Netflix. We're gonna do
this match. Nope, Nope, nope, nope, nope, because it's three
weeks removed from the thirteenth December. That's three weeks before

(57:01):
the next Saturday Nights Made event. It's four weeks before
the Royal Rumble. No, No, all you're telling me is
brown Breaker ain't winning this title.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
No I I'm not. I'm okay with it not being
at Royal Rumble. I'll say that. I'll say that I
think maybe a Saturday Night's main event would have been
a little bit the one in January, the.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
January second one before. Let him lose and then let
him go run the bluntlet in.

Speaker 1 (57:29):
The yeah or wherever directly and if you and if
it is to drop the title like we talked about
them Punk and kind of segue to where he's gonna go.
But I was fine with the promo last night in general.
I think it served a purpose where all right, he's
he's definitely in the driver's seat. He's gonna he's gonna

(57:51):
get the next crack at punk. But I think I
think you you hit it on the head where it's
like on the first like the first raw, like think
they're going to do a title change unlass And this
is my, for lack of a better term, theory, because
maybe we'll segue into the mass person. I don't think
we see that mask person again until that match.

Speaker 2 (58:14):
And that's fine because then that means that it's related.
It's surrounding the Vision and it's surrounding brun Breaker specifically,
let's go right into it. I'm new here, but everyone's
saying theory me included. But what what? But remember Paul
invited someone to the Vision that refused. What if it's
Sammy's ain That's not the first time. Raka, Thank you
for joining us. Make sure you drop a leg, subscribe,

(58:37):
share us out let. People know also follow us over
Lazy Booking podcast on YouTube as well. I've seen Sammy's
ain a lot thrown around a lot.

Speaker 1 (58:50):
Who huh, No, I'm saying that.

Speaker 2 (58:55):
I said it too, like no shit, but you want
your cookie, here's your cookie. Yea. I've seen it said
a lot, and I don't have I don't take an
issue with that. I don't mind it being sam Y's
Zane because there is that that that history there where
Paul did approach Sammy and did try to bring him

(59:16):
into the vision and they got rid of Seth and
so it's a different vision now and you know, trying
to frame Seth and frame this person in this linelight
of wanting to elevate Braun. The problem with it being

(59:38):
Austin theory is if you bring Austin theory back now
after him being out for so long and how Grayson
Waller just buried him and then he came in to
do this spot, the only thing you will you would
expect Austin theory to go right back to the mountaintop.

(59:58):
We'll go right to the mountain, I'm sorry, whereas it
would overshadow Broun Breaker. The only way this works is
if you bring in Austin theory and then you have
Seth come back and Seth was sent there, I mean
theory was sent there by Seth to not humble but

(01:00:20):
sabotage the vision so Seth could come back and capture
the title at wrestling, Like, there's a million different ways
to play that. I just I'm nervous about it being
I'm nervous with whoever it is. Unless it's Seth.

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
It's got to be the right guy. And I think
you're you saying that it should have been done a
Survivor series if it was Austin theory. I'm glad they
didn't do it. Well, maybe they should have done it
because they would have been done and over with and
then you don't have to Okay, he helped out, he's
part of the vision. But now because it's now been

(01:00:58):
kind of stretched out, and it seems like and I think,
I don't think that we're gonna find out who this
guy is for a while. Maybe the maybe that first match,
uh that world title match, or or even further maybe
Royal Rumble, but this person now, I don't think it
can be Austin theory because the last time we saw
Austin theory. He was in a tag team, a very

(01:01:22):
unserious tag team, and was all the way at the
bottom of the card. You reveal him as this guy.
Do you think anybody's gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Really care if they were done the reveal Saturday. I
think it would have popped. The place, would have lost
their mind.

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
I don't disagree. I think that was the right spot
to do it, but but I think, hey, Brian duck suck,
I just I don't know if him being the long
term storytell of this guy. Now people are like, oh,
he's too muscular to be this guy, and too must
who says the guy is gonna be the guy who

(01:02:00):
is out there like it could be anybody you could
You could uh, the guy who it really is could
be sitting at home like waiting like all right, I
got the call here, I'm the guy. Yeah, and then
and then you see this. I I the only thing
I like about it is and the announced team did
a really nice job. It's like they teased it that
it was Seth Rowinds. They really were. They were like, oh,

(01:02:21):
he's doing Seth's moves, and he did the he did
the curb stump. I think that's creative. I think that's
because you're playing off of the leg last time, like, oh,
he's doing it again, He's gonna get us to get further.

Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
That with Adam Pierce the next night, Yeah, right, saying,
hey he heard Seth was walking around without a sling
m hm awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:02:45):
Yeah, I hope that it's worth the wait. I would
just say, like, if it's Austin Theory, I'm gonna be
kind of disappointed because it's.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
If it's Austin Theory, it should have been revealed Saturday night. Agreed,
But I legitimately think he would have gotten the killer
pop and we would have all been saying, what is
Austin Theory doing with the vision? Why is he helping
out Braun? Why? Why? Why? Why? There would have been
a lot of questions. You do Austin Theory in two
months the Royal rumble, We're all going, well, yeah, no ship,

(01:03:16):
we knew it was him.

Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
Yeah, can I talk one more thing about raw real quick,
and then we can we can go move on.

Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
Yeah, we gotta, we gotta blow through these next two.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
How about that promo, that segment with Maxine and Italia and.

Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
That loved it if you watch, if you go back
and watch.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
I was.

Speaker 2 (01:03:37):
I had it on and I was getting ready to
mute it again because it's right after something, and I
was gonna go play another round a Fortnite, and I went,
wait a minute, what's this? And I'm watching, I'm like, oh,
this is a nice mine. Yet I wonder who they're
debuting because I couldn't pick up on Natty's voice right away.
And then it hit me and I went, oh, my god,
this is the greatest thing ever. If it is Seth,

(01:03:58):
which I very highly doubt it, remember the higher power
that Vince was under the hood, Oh my god, that was.

Speaker 1 (01:04:11):
I don't I don't think. I don't think it's set
I think it's too obvious that it's.

Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
First of all, I love the reference Roco, I love it.
But damn it, that would make I actually think that
would make me mad. I think I think that would
fire me.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
He'd come out with his I think that would.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Fire me up. Know that was That was a beautiful
That was That was.

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
That was awesome and I and I can't wait to
see what the endgame is with that. Where is Naddy gonna?
I would guess we're gonna start seeing Naddy on the
main possible, so I hope.

Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
So all right, let's do real quick. The last time
is now finals are set. This is gonna be on
uh Friday night l A Knight versus Gunther I mean
Danti climacticts gun through wins. I'm sorry, I know, but

(01:05:13):
here here he is, here, he is guys. I don't
hate a bear in theory, but to throw out another
theory he could he couldn't pass that up. You can
tell the person's definitely built no way at Sammy's a.
But what if it were like Williams.

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Why can't it be Sammy's aim? What's he doing right now?
Not doing anything? On?

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Hold on, hold on, hold on JABRONI might be onto
something I can see trick or I could ain't jumping
like that? That was too like like all right, so
we all said the guy's muscular, right, it was a
different it was built different like you could have never like, okay,

(01:05:55):
if whoever did the move Saturday night is not ultimately
the guy who they reveal, But you can't have that
guy go out there and do that move and then
try to tell me what's Oemi.

Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
I know I know that, but I'm saying so the
Sammy's Zain argument, It's kind of like he he's already
it's already surpassed where he's gonna go with this character,
and he still doesn't have that big run yet. He
got he got close, But I just like for storyline

(01:06:28):
purposes only, I think Sammy would be would be a
perfect person to be put in the Vision. But I
would also not be opposed to having somebody new and
up and kind of like the vision we see it
like now logan Paul's part of the vision, so like
it's gonna be all these up, up and coming star
stars that Paul Hayman's gonna build is his vision.

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
So Roger says that gun Through versus Solo match shocked me.
Being Heal versus he was Solo's match.

Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
Oh, we didn't talk about that. That match was awesome,
That was great.

Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
Yeah, but I was really hoping that Solo was gonna
win and we were gonna do something a little bit
different than what we all thought, where it being Ella
Knight versus Solo instead of Elle Night versus Gunther. I'm
glad Jay didn't win. I'm glad we didn't run run
Gunther versus Jay again for the Umpty billion time. I know,

(01:07:27):
I know, I know I'm gonna eat Crow. I know
Gunther is gonna win on Friday, but damn it, you'll
see me very happy man if Ella Knight wins. I
don't want it to be this predictable. I I don't
know if this is the right move to have Gunther

(01:07:47):
face Sina.

Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
Can can you put Chrome's comment on the on the screen?

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
No, screw that guy.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
Let me just say that. And I and I agree
this being the best match of the torment, but let
me just let me just put in put in perspective here.
Gunther has had three fantastic matches in this tournament. So
in the mindset of if it's going to be Gunther,
he has absolutely deserved this opportunity. But I don't think

(01:08:23):
he needs it. I don't I don't think he needs it.
I think l A Knight needs it. L A Knight
needs something. The guy, the guy just keeps losing.

Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
And you did see the solo at WrestleMania. You know
I don't need I don't need you to run that back. Right,
Let's let's do this. Let's do l A. Knight versus Sina.
Doesn't need to be a heel versus face. Heel versus

(01:08:55):
face versus face, doesn't don't care about any of that.
This is truly just the somebody go out there and
showcase what they can do about the problem is with Gunther.
The not gun Through. I'm sorry. The problem is Gunther's ending,
the way he ends the matches so unpredictable. While I
don't think he's and I don't think he's gonna win

(01:09:16):
right like I don't. I want the ending to be
that that high pop, that high energy, that one two
place goes nuts. I think he is gonna win here
because he didn't win his first match.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
The only thing that I can see is what they're
gonna do with Gunther. Is this. If Gunther is the
guy and wins the tournament, I think that isn't that
isn't that is a good uh good callback as well.

Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
Where's this guy been? This is great stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Rocco, you're the man. But Gunther, I think if he
wins this tournament, I think the next guy. I think
this is the opportunity to turn him into a babyface.
You you gain the respect to seeing it, You shake
his hand after the match, you do all that, all
that pop and circumstance cool. He's the next guy. I
think the next guy he's got a face is brock

(01:10:10):
Lesner at WrestleMania, because Brock was the guy that destroyed John.
Seeing it Wressell Palooza, brockla is like, hey, oh you
thought you won this tormund If I was in it,
I was gonna win it. And you've set up Gunther
versus brock Lesner for WrestleMania. I don't like it. You don't,

(01:10:31):
you don't let you don't like it. We've been wanting
to this man.

Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
Who I don't know if I don't like it, I
just that's a little bit of a stretch.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
But but you think about it, Gun there is not
gonna be in a world title match at WrestleMania based
on where who they have on the card right who
they have lined up right now, I don't see guns
are getting a world title match at WrestleMania. You gotta
give him something, and I think that's a dream match it.
I think it's only a matter of time before throw each.

Speaker 2 (01:10:59):
Other around, do anything. I love l A. Knight, but
his style isn't great for Sina either. He's generally very technical,
and I think both of them would be slow and
whoever he faces, I don't know. We want to see
scene look great.

Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
Yeah, I agree, And yeah, I mean Gunther's made three
guys look great already. He's gonna and he's made Goldberg
look great.

Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
What he made a curses that will look great? Like
like Gunther can make somebody look amazing. I won't deny that.
I won't take that away from Gunther. Right, he's very,
very good at what he does on on both sides
of the ball. But will it hurt Gunther coming back
and losing that the only way unless it sends him

(01:11:45):
into a realization like and it humbles him almost.

Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
Yeah. Yeah. Dynasty brings up a good point too. I
think they've alluded to that in Nights in his promos, like, oh,
we've had some history. I think that's what he's That's
what he's alluding to. We've we've teamed up and kind
of kind of playing off some sort of history. Why
it makes sense for Knight to face John Cena. I
think that's been brought up briefly during some of the

(01:12:12):
some of nice promos.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Yeah, no, I get where Dynasty's going with that.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
Yeah, he gave over the best match of his career.
In his last I don't disagree. I don't disagree with
any of that. The only way this works is a
scene of beating him humbles him because God has always
said he's the best. That's how you get me to
a face her.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
Yeah, you shake hands after the match, and he gave
it scene. It gives him his flowers, like great job,
and Seena rides off into the sunset and Gunther now
takes the takes the mantle as the guy who retired
John Cena, and now Gunther is is the guy and
now who But I think who better? And I like

(01:12:55):
the idea of Ilia dragonoff too, But I think Gunther
needs something bigger, on a bigger stage, and I think
that moment could be with brock Lester. It could be
And maybe I'm maybe I'm way off, but I think
that's I think it's a logical place to go, especially
if you win and then you become a babyface.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
All right, we got just a few minutes left here.
We do have the hockey happy hour start in. I
think he goes over Sena and Sina raises his hand.
I'll disagree with you on that. I would like to
see Sina win and humble Gunter a little that long
term wise, Humble's Gunther Gunther versus Ilia Mania for the

(01:13:37):
US Belt. Gun Through wins and Gunther takes the US Belt,
brings in European title. Like MGAF did with the American title.

Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
He made the IC title very big. I mean, I'm
not a I think it's I think Ili is doing
a really good job with that title. I think Gunther
would be a legitimate person to beat him, but I
think there's gonna be somebody else. It comes along that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
Yeah, I don't see.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Is good.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
I like the concept Gunther can't go backwards right now,
and I and I think that putting the title, putting
the US title on Gunther is a step backwards right now,
only because Ilia is doing great things with it. The

(01:14:26):
open to the Open Challenge is great that it's kind
of building up something with tomasco Champa as well. Trying
to insert Guntherro in that at this moment won't work.
Tell talk to me about six months to a year,
may maybe just pandal work. Guntherro is that in his career.

Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
And also I would imagine at that point, hopefully he's
not the US champion and he's up the card a
little bit, especially.

Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
If you know no, I think really is gonna sit
here in this mid card for a little bit only
only until we start aren't seeing some of these top
guys kind of riding off of the sunset. I think
Brock's gonna ride off in the If Brock Fight's gone through,
I think that's his last last match. Roman's not that
far behind him. We know AJ's leaving, we know Randy's

(01:15:14):
gonna be leaving soon. Finn's getting up there in age.
So once we start taking some of these guys and
we phase them out, then you can bring in Trick,
williams Oba, Semi Ilia, your your your NX teammate event
for the last year becomes those top guys.

Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
Very true, good good points.

Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
All Right, you wanted it, you're getting it. Let's talk
about it. He and A Wrestling lands a deal with AMC.

Speaker 1 (01:15:51):
Yay. Look, I think it's good news. It's good news
because there's more wrestling on TV. There's more to watch,
and I we like we needed more. There's there's sickos
like me out there that I like to watch it.
What do you want? But now I can watch it

(01:16:12):
if there's something on. If there's nothing on Thursday, night.
They're gonna be on Thursday, a night that doesn't have
wrestling right now.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
Oh God, be happy for thee You're not gonna watch it?

Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
What do you mean they're not gonna watch it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
You're not gonna watch it? You jackass watch it? Okay. So,
so for everybody that's confused, because I clearly was up
until two three hours ago when these geniuses said, let's
end the show with TNA at AMC. AMC Networks in
TNA Wrestling today announced a multi year agreement to bring

(01:16:51):
TNA's flagship weekly television show Thursday night and back to AMC,
TNA's new television over in the US. The TNA AMC
partnership kicks off line from the Curtis cole Will Center
in Dallas Sport Worth Metroplex on Thursday, January fifteenth. The
Mind You Impact will be a two hour block. It'll
be from nine to eleven on the East Coast. The

(01:17:14):
agreement also extends the weekly telecast of viewers on AMC Plus.

Speaker 1 (01:17:18):
And this is another way for WWE to get on
in another network. Let's face it, the only reason they
got this deal is because ww is involved. So it's
another opportunity from a look at it from a business
point of view. Don't even look at it as a
fan from a fans point of view. Look at it
as an opportunity for business in a in a business

(01:17:40):
that if if I can have my product and my
people on and I'll have to pay for it, all good.
It's it's just it's an opportunity. I think this is
it's calculated by WWE, but it benefits It benefits TNA.
It benefits more guys that are going to be able
to show case what they got. You know, it's it's

(01:18:02):
always good to have more wrestling on TV. I think
it's a.

Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
Wait wait, wait until you have to start figuring out
how to build your show out.

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Oh so I'm gonna be I'll be doing it. You've
all told me to do impact on a Thursday night
after show starting the arts.

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
Baby yeah, wait wait wait, wait, wait until you're like,
damn it, what are we focus on this week?

Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
What do you want to talk about?

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
It's good because it shows the value of relationship with
w W. TNA is up their profile and gotten attention.
Don't you're wrong. I'm not taking away from TNA. I
think it's very good for them, right do I see,
I know. Carlos Silva has TNA President Carlos Silva has
said that the relationship with w W will continue and
the storylines will continue and keep going forward. There was

(01:18:51):
some confusion. People thought that by taking this TV deal,
it was going to end the partnership with w W and.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
T and A.

Speaker 2 (01:18:58):
That's supposedly not the case. WW. Chrome says WW showing
other companies that the relationship with them is extremely beneficial.
AW hasn't been able to have this kind of spotlight
for the other companies because AEW is garbage. I said it,
I meant it. I will die on that hill because
that black I haven't done this in a while. That

(01:19:19):
black shirt wearing JABBRONI black sweatshirt wearing JABBRONI just wants
to sit there and play action figures with daddy's money,
like soapbox. We'll stick to it. TNA is now the
walking Dead of wrestling. Ah. I like that Chrome alluded
to it actually a little bit ago, because we are

(01:19:40):
going to wrap some things up here. Next week starts
a two week segment with the one and only where
is the Picture?

Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
Not Where's the Picture? Vince Russo, He's coming up.

Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
I couldn't find the picture. Leave me alone, man.

Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
Yes, Vince Russell will be here next week with Crow
and myself. We cannot wait to talk about the John
Cena Last Time is Now tournament, as we will then
know who John Cena's opponent is, either Gunther or l A. Knight,
So we're going to take a look at that. We're
gonna preview his final match on Saturday Nights main event.

(01:20:18):
We may ask him a few questions here and there
about his his new venture which he is now an
on screen character for j c W and I saw
he is the he is a benefactor or something. I
forget what they what they're calling him. They're calling him
he's uh, he's funding money to help to help j

(01:20:43):
C ice of anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
Yeah, FID Drewser will be on for the next two
weeks December ninth to preview the final the final episode
of John Cena's final event, Saturday Night's main event, and
then he'll come back a one week later to recap everything,
put a beautiful bow on it, and where does John
ceed to really sit among some of the greatest professional
wrestlers of all time. This is gonna be Ben Russo

(01:21:08):
from Ben Thrusho's the brand of WWE and w CW
notoriety screws. I'm kidding, Rocket says, I'll sure be back
before I leave. Favorite ara of wrestling for both of you.

(01:21:29):
Attitude Era from promos aspect current era for wrestling. I'll
go back and watch a lot of Attitude era pros.
I can't watch any of the wrestling I like.

Speaker 1 (01:21:40):
I'm like when I first started watching ninety one ninety two,
even though it wasn't the greatest like product looking back,
but it's just sentimental to me. But I think an
underrated time for wrestling was that SmackDown era of two
thousand and four two thousand and five. There was some
amazing town, amazing matches on SmackDown. If you get time,

(01:22:04):
go back and watch it's.

Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
Uh, it's proud you had Taker, Eddie Edge, Misterial Backdown.
They were like the SmackDown five whatever it was.

Speaker 1 (01:22:14):
Yeah, but we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
Get off here. Hockey Happy Hour will be starting, I.

Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
Believe at the I think it's at nine, yeah, so
it'll be.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
