Men’s WarGames Match
Women’s WarGames Match
Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella
Dominik Mysterio vs John Cena

WWE Survivor Series takes place this Saturday from San Diego, CA live on ESPN and Netflix internationally. With 14 former world champions featured across both the Men’s and Women’s WarGames matches, the star-studded featured matches come with a lot of anticipation and expectation.
This week, we break down each match, giving our insight on each match, potential emerging stars and MVP’s, and our final predictions on the winners. With so many sub-stories going on between individuals in each WarGames match, there are many questions that need to be answered. Will Paul Heyman’s team be able to work together and can Brock Lesnar be controlled? Can Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk control their egos for the greater good? Can Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley work together, and will AJ Lee get her revenge on Becky Lynch?
With Nikki Bella turning her back on WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, can she complete the comeback story and win her first singles championship in years, or will Stephanie hand her a receipt for the deception?
John Cena makes his final PLE appearance, defending the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio. Can John retain and carry the title into his final match in Saturday Night’s Main Event or will Dominik Mysterio avenge his loss for the biggest win of his career?
Join us as we discuss an eventful week in WWE on the Lazy Booking Podcast!

(02:13):
We've been talking about it, speculating about it. There seems
like there's been a huge gap in between plees obviously,
but we're here and you know, I know, people say
Royal Rumble is the uh, the kickoff to WrestleMania, but
I would argue it's Survivor series. It's one of the
original Big Four. They still make a huge deal about it. Obviously.

(02:34):
The War Games now has for all intents and purposes
replaced the traditional Survivor Series match, which I do want
to get into that because I'm not very thrilled with
the decision made for SmackDown.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
But.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
We're here and it's still a big show. And to me,
I almost feel like this is a kind of been
ending in a kickoff point because I do think that
there's certain things that they tie up at this point,
and then also they do find ways to kind of
start to catapult WrestleMania season. Right. So our opening topic here,
and it's a topic that has been I find interestingly

(03:15):
growing with a little bit of attention here, and it's
that the Men's Wargames match at WW Survivor Series is
not showcasing enough young talents. So do you agree? Do
you disagree? Wherever you're at, Facebook, YouTube, x you, Twitter,
whatever you call it, come in in, like subscribe, join

(03:35):
our conversation. We want to know what your thoughts are
on this, as well as our match predictions that we're
gonna have coming up. So Eric, kick us off here, buddy,
what are your thoughts on this this statement here regarding
the Men's Wargames match.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Can we please stop with complaining about people being old?
I don't know fits this twenty twenty five internet wrestling
community just putting stuff online to just get a reaction,
But it worked with me because this really bothers me.

(04:13):
And I don't know why. I think it's because, like
you and I, we grew up with late nineteen eighties
nineteen nineties wrestling, and at that time, somebody in their
late thirties early forties seemed to be almost done out
of the game at the end, and you fast forward

(04:36):
thirty years later and it couldn't be further from the
way it was then, Because I mean, just look at
this Survivor series. Brock forty eight years old, ce him
Punk forty seven, Drew forty, Cody forty, a bunch of
forty year olds, your youngest competitors, bron Breaker at twenty eight,

(04:57):
who cares? Really? Who ca And the reason I say
that is because these two sides are stacked up like
we've never seen it before. We're just coming off of
twenty twenty three where there were and not to take
away from Pete Dunn and Rich Holland, but they were

(05:20):
in the War Games match two years ago. We've gone
from that to this. And I'll be the first to say,
three four weeks ago, I was very skeptical and what
they were gonna do with wargames. Really the direction just
wasn't There was no clear direction of where they were going.

(05:41):
But I have to say they did a really nice
job of putting the pieces together. There's, like we said
last week, there's a there's a lot of bad blood
on each side, specifically on the on the face side,
with Cody Rhodes, Seampunk and Roman fighting over who is

(06:01):
who's the leader of the team, and then Jay and
Jimmy saying we're going to take care of business. So
there's just a lot at stake for all of them involved.
And then now you have one side has both major
championships on it, and then you have on the other
side you have possibly the next challengers for those for

(06:25):
those championships. So I find it very tough to be
worried about age because these are your guys going into WrestleMania,
and hopefully the plan is for the younger guy, specifically
bron Breaker, who's going to be that person that comes

(06:45):
out and stands tall getting the pinfall for the other
team for their team. So it's it's interesting because I
think after last night on raw. You could make an
argue for the good guy team to come out victorious,

(07:06):
but you could also make an argument for the other team.
And that's what makes it so interesting is what direction
are they going to go in with this? There's so
many different different talent in this match where you don't
know what direction they're going to go, and I think
that's what makes it so great. But to go back

(07:26):
to the topic, I couldn't disagree more to a topic
than this one where who cares Aw's got a forty
six year old is the world champion right now and
they don't seem to be worried about it either, so
why should anybody else?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah, same thing. I mean TNA. Look at TNA. They
have Frankie Gazarins champion, who is very deserving. By the way,
Brian originally said, I do agree with the poll. I
would love for them to showcase some of the more
younger talent. I'm good with showcase some of the bigger names.
I like to see some different faces in the work
games matched and he says, okay, I just wait. My
thought process storylines it can be built off of this match,

(08:05):
Greg popping in saying, what's up? We saw COVID. Here,
we saw Rasca, we saw Dynasty. Love you guys chiming in,
please keep it coming. Yeah, So obviously I'm going to
disagree to the poll because I think this is an
absolutely ridiculous case. Yet again, of the Internet being the
Internet and the IWC being the IWC, there's always got

(08:29):
to be something to complain about. And honestly, in my
personal opinion, I don't look at Cody Rhoades, who's thirty
nine or forty years old, and I mean Punk's a
little bit older. He's getting closer to fifty. You know,
Bronson Reid is thirty seven. But like I look at

(08:51):
someone like AJ Styles and I even I always go back,
and this is when my thought process changed. It's when
AJ Styles came to WWE twenty sixteen, and then Bobby
Rude was right around that same time. And I don't
think I realized at the time how old those guys were.
And they weren't old. By saying old, it's just you know,

(09:12):
the point in their careers that they were. You know,
AJ obviously was in it forever, but you know, when
you think about late thirties, this isn't the NFL where
twenty eight twenty nine is old majority of professional wrestlers
on the men's side. The women is a different conversation,
But on the men's side, the majority of professional wrestlers

(09:35):
do not find themselves, find their characters and the confidence
in themselves and start to hit their stride until they
hit their late thirties to early forties. And so I
would make a an argument that this is not an incredibly
old group of guys anyway, because you look at Roman,
who's around forty or forty one or forty two. You know,

(09:57):
these guys are kind of in their prime. And I mean,
you have fourteen world champions across the men's and women's
Board Games matches, fourteen out of twenty competitors. That's astronomically awesome.
And on top of it, you do have younger talent

(10:20):
that is going to be featured in this This whole
thing is about Logan, Paul and Bronson Red and bron Breaker,
who are going to be made to look incredible in
this match. So and the fact that they're going against
these guys who are so well established in their places

(10:41):
at the top of the card. It's a good thing
even in loss, which spoiler lar because we're gonna give
our predictions. I don't believe they're going to lose, but
even in a loss, you can make these guys look
so unbelievable when you are in the ring with what
is literally an all star group of talent. It is

(11:03):
everyone who is anyone at the top of the card,
and I just I don't understand it. And then I
look at like Jimmy too, who Jimmy may be there
to take the pinfall, but I look at Jimmy and
he's a guy who could use a spot with a
loaded group like this. So again, it's the Internet being

(11:28):
the Internet, the IWC being the IWC. I just you know,
I was kind of perplexed when you first brought this up,
but I did see a lot of bitching about it,
and I think that it's it's just I just like,
do we want Austin theory? Like who people rejected? Now?

(11:48):
They want him now, which is weird to me. He
was rejected, Grayson Waller has been rejected. I mean, they
have tried and they've given pushes, and that talent has
not been taken in by the crowd other than domb Mysterio,
who is getting the John Cena spot. I would rather

(12:09):
him be in the John Cena spot than worry about
being in a War Games match.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
So yeah, I would just say one more point about
the kind of the age thing in the nineteen nineties,
where in the eighties and nineties, where the work schedule
was so much different than it was than it is now,
not working three hundred days a year. Sports medicine has

(12:36):
taken and evolved where athletes such as wrestlers are able
to take care of their bodies better, They're eating better,
they're taking better care of themselves. So these wrestlers that
back in the eighties and nineties that looked like thirty
five when they were thirty five forty years old, looked

(12:56):
like they were out of shape and getting ready to retire.
Now you fast forward, with all the technology, all the
added elements involved, these athletes are in such better condition
and so much better shape now that they can easily
go into their late thirties, forties. And we're even saying

(13:19):
now where there's wrestlers going into their late forties into
their fifties.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
So yeah, that's obviously that's the point our Palru brings
up here too.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
Yeah, Yeah, I mean, it's it's just it's night and
day what it looked like in the eighties and nineties
compared to now. Now. The people that are complaining about
this probably weren't watching wrestling in the eighties and nineties
like us, But understanding where that's coming from is is

(13:49):
just astonishing that people are that concerned about age. How
about we worried about the talent that's out there and
who's entertaining us. Yes, there needs to be a youth
movement at times where there needs to be the young
up and comer that takes takes the reins from the
the older, more season competitors. But in this match in

(14:15):
twenty twenty five, I would much rather have Brock Lesner,
Drew McIntyre and some younger stars in that group versus
CM punk in twenty twenty five in the WWE Sign
Me Up, Cody Rhodes, who has since coming back, is

(14:36):
QB one, and you can argue Roman Reigns, he's he's
a he's not a full time competitor, but if he was,
he'd probably be right there, if not higher than Cody Rhodes.
So and then the USOS, I mean, you just have
star after star in this match.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Yeah, it's listen, it's an, it's an all star match.
I want to get to some more of the comments here. Yeah, sorry,
that's okay. Just beautiful lady. Christina Vassalakis chimes in says,
have a great show. That's that's my lady. So what's
up girl? So baby Dynasty said, disagree to the whole
Survivors series has always been an all star game of
WW and this is the most stacked services match we've had.

(15:15):
You I one, Nat, and you can make the argument,
you know, so sometimes you consider like the Royal Rumble
the All Star Game whichever. I think both have the
same effect, Dynasty. So I absolutely love that point that
you've made there. Uh. And then we had a couple

(15:37):
more of than give me one second.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I don't have a lot the comments. Keep them coming,
keep them coming, everybody.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
So we have an inquiry from Greg for you. I
know the answer, but I see why he's asking. He's
asking of those mutton chops, Eric, because you're gray right here.
In certain lighting, it looks like you have like the
thing here, and it does.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yeah, that's my that's my new person. It's my new gimmick.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
It looks very lemmy, very very lemmy.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
From Motorhead not not on not on purpose, but thank you,
thank you for noticing. I don't know whether to take
that as a compliment or like, yo, you need to
shave that thing, dude.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
But he was curious. Yeah, it's great, dynasty, says uh,
it's wrestling that like regular sports. I take a good
ten years for everything to click anyway.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
But let me say one more thing to to your
point Chrome about this match kind of leading in and
kind of forgotten, and we think about the Royal Rumbos
being the road to WrestleMania. You have two baby Face
World champions right now. We don't know what direction they're
going in right now. I mean it looks like Logan
Paul for Logan Paul, maybe for for Raw against Punk.

(16:51):
But then who's Cody's next challenger? Could that come out
of this match? I think to like you said, there
was a big gap between ples, there's an even longer
gap coming up after a Survivor series. So I am
hoping that we have a little bit of direction of
where we're going between now and Royal Rumble. Because there's

(17:13):
two Saturay Night's main events. One is John Cena's Farewell
m H and then you have one in January. So
what direction are they going in leading up to the
m There's a lot of time, there's a lot of
TV between now and then, So where are they going?
And hopefully we get some answers out of this War
Games match.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Yeah, one hundred percent. And with that, a couple more
quick comments here. Yeah, uh, let's see, Brian says. I
would say Bron Breaker could absolutely be the young star
to take that role. I actually really like Bronson Reid,
but Bron's amazing.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Wild note about it.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Yeah, for you, nothing's off limits thorn out. That's a
great point.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Great. Might have to let this grow. You have to
tell the missages. You might have to. I might have
to get her. Uh, I have to get a reprieve here.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
You may have to get like a coach. Yeah, you
may need a coach that can I do the lemmy.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Let me say what one thing too? I forgot my thought.
Oh broh with uh with Bronson Reed thirty seven years old.
I couldn't believe that today someone post in our in
our private chat, our buddy decided you know that Gouy
Bronson is thirty seven years old. I didn't think he
was that old, but thirty seven years old is the

(18:30):
new twenty seven. Let's let's he's got plenty of time,
And I agree with Chrome. I think I think Bronson
I would love to see him continue that road with
I know, got like a kind of a impro two
match with Cody, but I'd love to see Cody versus
Bronson Reid. I don't know about you, Like, there's how
many challenges are there on SmackDown that are viable and

(18:53):
and I think that they're a challenge. There's really nothing there,
so why not?

Speaker 2 (19:00):
I agreed? I agree? Got Pove checking back in saying,
what's up again, guys for our A two D people
who love hockey, make sure you guys check out Flyers
Talk K two D tonight at nine p m. Brian saying, yeah,

(19:22):
Bronson Reid could be that guy. I'm not particularly a fan,
but absolutely uh So, yeah with that, let's dive. Let's
let's go in. Let's start giving some predictions on this match.
Men's War Games match Cody Road Sampunk, Roman Reigns, Jay
and Jimmy Uso taking on brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan,
Paul bron Breaker and Bronson Reid. Eric, how do you

(19:46):
have this match going Down.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
So last week, I agreed to the poll last week
where I felt that the that the heel teams needed
to win this match because there needs to be a
little heat added to especially specifically the world title pictures
on both Raw and SmackDown. But that being said, and
I said this last week, I thought Jimmy Ussa was

(20:12):
in the match to take the pin. I'm gonna go
out on a limb kind of what I was just
alluding to. And I'm gonna say Cody's taking the pin.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Only because yeah, you brought this up to me earlier,
so yeah, I would like to I'd like you to
elaborate on this.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
So so since Cody regained the championship with SummerSlam, he
hasn't had a ton of challengers. There's the cupboard's pretty
bare over on SmackDown. We kind of saw a tease
with Alistair Black and they had a match on SmackDown. Uh,

(20:49):
who's the other guy that they he? Who is? We've
seen Drew McIntyre a few times now. I just think
there needs to be a little bit of spark with adversity.
And I've talked about it on the show before. There's
just a lack of adversity in Cody Rhodes where he

(21:11):
hasn't had to go through a whole a great deal
of tribulation, trial and tribulation where there's nothing that's exciting
me about his title reign right now. I think he's
more than capable to turn up the volume, but I
just don't know if he's found that right dance partner
to make magic. And I'm not saying that Drew can't

(21:35):
be that guy, but I think Drew's become kind of
not believable that he's going to be champion. Maybe they
go back to the well there. I kinda I kind
of see a different direction for Drew, and that's why
I brought up ronson Reid. I just feel like there
needs to be something new and exciting where maybe Cody

(21:56):
comes out gets tsunamid several times he's got cracked ribs,
He's got some type of adversity and a challenge to
the to the ww Championship. There's a lot, Like I said,
there's a lot of time between Survivor Series and Royal Rumble.
You gotta have something in there to plug in. Cody's
gonna defend the title at somewhere along the line, I

(22:18):
would imagine before rumble, but who is that? And I
think this is a golden opportunity to not only showcase
one of the guys, one of the younger upstarts. Not
saying Bronson, he's younger than the other guys, but I
think he needs to be a little more stablished. They've
already started it where he beat Roman Reigns, so why

(22:40):
not get a get a pin over Cody and established
yourself even more so? I think, uh, I think the
Heel team is gonna win this match, and I just
think there needs to just be something, something out of
the box compared.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
To what Yeah, listen, I think the Heel team wins
this match, just kind of seeing how all the pieces
are falling together. Right. I can use the logic that
usually when there's two matches, one's a heel and one's
a face team win. Right. I could also make the
argument that I don't see aj Style or aj Lee

(23:17):
rather losing, which might be a reason that partially contributes
to my feeling. But the other part of it is
I do think that the seeds have been planted for
dissension amongst this group. You know, you had Roman teasing
that title would look great on me, But which title
is he talking about?

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Right?

Speaker 2 (23:38):
There is no indication, And he even said to them,
that's for you guys to figure it out, right, beautiful,
beautiful work with Roman reigns. And then I go, you know, obviously,
I go back and I look at this as well,
and I say, which one of these young guys I
think is gonna get I don't. I said that, I

(24:00):
think Drew needs to win. I don't need it to
be Cody. But I feel like I'm going to go
in a different direction now because and you kind of
went with that anyway. So just to throw another possibility
out here, I think Punk takes the pin here, and

(24:22):
I think it is one of the two from the
vision because what is something that Seth has struggled to
do over his career. It's depend Cody Wrotes so or
I'm sorry CM Punk, well Cody too. Either these two
guys have been thorn in his side. It has been
his mission to basically torture Cody wrote, or I'm sorry,

(24:51):
I keep saying Cody damn it to absolutely torture and
hinder the life of CM Punk. What better way to
establish these two young guys than to have them do
what has been the bane of Seth's existence for two years,
this specific event where it all started two years ago

(25:14):
when Sampunk came back It's Survivor series. So, just to
throw another theory out there, I still think win wise
Drew could use it the most. I think Jimmy is
the most likely to take the pin. But if you
want to make an impact, we could go with what
you said and you can have Drew get his pin

(25:36):
back on Cody. This is kind of the right environment
to do it where it won't hurt Cody necessarily. Or
if you want to be really bold and establish the
separation of these guys cutting ties with Seth Rollins, you
could really tie a nice little bow on that and
give them that little boost that as we roll into

(25:58):
WrestleMania season. So what are your thoughts on that idea.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
I think we are both on the same page that
the Vision could use a defining moment with the two
of them sans Seth Rollins, and I would.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Make the argument that it should be or Broun, not Bronson,
because who's another guy that has been an ultimate ally
and even more ultimate fou It's Roman reigns. Bronson Reid
has gotten that signature win. Now you get that signature
spot for bron Breaker, and both guys have now done

(26:38):
incredible things that seth rownd obsesses over constantly.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
I just want to say one more thing about this match,
and I know we want to move on. The one
guy we really haven't talked about for this match is
the one that I'm curious on how he's gonna act.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
That's funny, real quick by Dynasty. So much for not
seeing him till Christmas.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
It's true, hey son, thanks for joining us. The one
guy we really haven't talked a lot about is the
one that I'm curious on how he's going to how
he's gonna blend in with the team, and that's Brock

(27:23):
where he's added to this team. He's the fifth one,
but he's the biggest wild card I think of them all.
Is he going to wreck everybody f five people and
be kind of on the sideline. I don't know. So
it's as much as I would like to see my prediction,

(27:46):
and I hope that this isn't a brock lesnar I
beat everybody up show and then he's the dominant force,
because I don't think that does anything for anybody to
establish anything moving on into Royal Romo WrestleMania season, except
for Brock. I just worry because of what we saw

(28:07):
at Russell Palouza with him squashing Sena, and that's the
last match he's been in. So with that, is Brock
going to be the one who's just completely dominating everybody?
Could be and then he It very well could be.
I hope that's not the case, but if that is

(28:27):
the case, I would imagine we kind of still know
what the direction is going to be, and it's not
going to be what we're predicting. It's all right, Brock
is back in the title pictures. The matter of which
one he's going.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
After, I mean, honestly, that's probably the most likely case scenario.
Is Brock is going to be the one who's going
to enter into the title picture next, and maybe Roman
gets the other one, and maybe that's your two you know,
big matches going in to Royal Rombo and Mania season
and whatnot. So yeah, now listen, interesting, really star studded match.

(29:03):
Can't stand the people that bitched about it, but excited
to say it. Let's move on to our second match
on this card. We have our Women's War Games match
and again, we've seen a lot of storytelling in this.
You know, obviously it's been Charlotte and Alexa, who have
been tremendous. I'm glad they didn't just break up immediately,
and I hope that they still get a little more

(29:24):
of a run in. Then we have Ria and Eo
now joined by A J Lee to take on Oscar.
Kyrie saying, Naya Jack's lash Legend, who I think lash
Legend is awesome by the way, I think from the
moment she came into NXT and then she was with Metaphor,
and the way that she's developed, she did stuff with

(29:46):
Trick Williams and her in ring has really gotten strong
as like a big powerful woman. I'm a big lash
Legend fan, I think, and I don't I think I
would have thought that her first six months coming in,
but she's awesome. And then obviously Becky Lynch. So I'm

(30:09):
gonna kick this one off. I'm gonna keep it short
and sweet. Love this match too, Love the names in this.
I love to see someone like a lash Legend have
a what I would call a strong momentum going into this.
They have done such a good job at not letting
her just be somebody who was added to this and

(30:32):
getting lost in the shuffle. Because there's a lot of
big names in this match. I mean, it is essentially
just about every big name that's not Tiffany Stratton or
Jade Cargill or Bianca Belair, right, So I think that
lash legend. They have done a really good job at
making sure she's highlighted. She looks powerful, she looks intimidating,

(30:55):
and looks like a threat to all five of these
women who are four world champions. So I am going
to pick, however, the face team of this. I don't
see aj Lee in match number two being on the
losing side. So I think that somehow we get Charlotte

(31:17):
and we get Raya on the same page. You know,
they'll tease the dissension amongst them in this match, but
I think ultimately we get to where we're at in
the same page, and I think that they end up
taking down. So who takes the l? You have a
Kyrie saying in there, who unfortunately is such an unbelievable talent,

(31:39):
but always seems to be the one who's taking the l. Naya,
I don't think it really hurt Naye it too much.
I don't want it to be Lash And obviously I
don't think it's going to be Oscar Becky. I don't
want it to be Lash. I don't and I don't
think that it will be. I think they have big,
big planes for Lash Legend.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
I agree with you with Last Legend. It's amazing how
you see Jade Cargill kind of struggling. Now she's now
hopefully with her new new attitude, and he'll turn that
she turns it around. But I think Last Legend just
looks like a bona fide star. Amazing to see her

(32:23):
on the screen and she you You immediately look at
her and like, WHOA, this girl can do some damage.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
She's one that they bought in. I think correct if
the WNBA.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
I believe, yes, yes, correct, yep, I'm pretty sure. And
if I'm wrong, somebody can correct me.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Well, I mean, if you say and I say, it's
probably true because we're both on the same page.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
So yeah. But and I think this is going to
be very key to make sure that she gets a
moment or two in this match. She's in there against
some really big stars, like you said, and I think
it's a great opportunity to get her in the ring
with these stars and make an impression. I mean, she

(33:09):
could throw a lexuplists around like a rag doll and
it would look like a million bucks. I think it's
a great opportunity to really show what she has. You
and I are on the same page. I do feel
like the Face team is going to win this match,
but I have a different theory. So we heard last

(33:31):
night on Raw the continuous tirades of one Becky Lynch
and she just continues to entertain. And I said it
on my anecdotes with Arch this past week and you
can find them on our YouTube page at Lazy Booking,
at the Lazy Booking podcast.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Lazy Booking Podcast TV. What he said.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
And I would just say that she has been superb
as far as her her her entertainment, her and and
where she's going and we kind of we know what
she's portraying and and and it's been fantastic. And she
continued that on Roll last night, kind of down down

(34:14):
playing how the team was created. The team was created
by her, and I beat this one, and I beat
Osca and Naya broke my nose and I'm gonna take
lash under my wing. Would not shock me at all
if these women decided, you know what, back we're at,

(34:35):
we we're just gonna stand back and watch it after
a while, not at the very beginning, once all five
get in and gets meet up, and Becky does something
to annoy somebody, probably a Naya or or or Osca,
and like, you know what, we're just gonna We're just
gonna stand out and watch you get beat up. And
she takes all the all their big moves and and

(34:58):
Becky gets pinned, and it can continues Becky's conspiracy where
she's being wronged and she'll blame it on Pierce and
go on another tirade. But I think this do I
I would hope that whatever happens in this match, I
hope again they highlight lash. But I think it's an

(35:19):
opportunity to continue Becky's continuing going down rabbit holes and
conspiracy theories. I think it's a good opportunity to continue
with that.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
It's the female version of what Sammy's Ain had going on, right,
and their personas are different, but yet the ideas are
kind of the same. And the fact that everybody's against them,
it's a conspiracy in this and that, So I agree
with you I hope that she's the one that takes
the fall in this. I think it should be that way.

(35:48):
And I like what Dynasty said here. Mss Wargames is
in it talking about EO, so you know the face
scene was I can't wait to see that. You know,
we had the KOFE spot. We used to have the
you know the nay was it the Naomi spot that
we would do at the Royal Rumble, and then we
definitely have a war Games EO spot. So I'm very

(36:09):
excited for that. She's the best. And he says in
regards to Lash it was at WNA, which I'm pretty
sure it was was high D one basketball. Thanks, So yeah,
pretty sure on that one. Dynasty appreciates you, uh, giving
us a little check.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
On that one.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Moving on, I don't need to speak very long on
this one ww Women's World Championship match, Stephanie Vaquier taking
on Nicki Bella. I think this is just Yes, it's
an opportunity for Nikki to step in the ring with
somebody who is high level, one of the best, if

(36:47):
not the best, in the world in terms of the
women's professional wrestling. It is a chance for her to
get in the ring to retest herself at a high
level and in defeat, which I think is inevitable that
she will not come out on top of this one.
It is an opportunity, though, for her to re establish
some of her stock and prove to herself improved, you know,

(37:07):
because she said ultimately she wants to prove to herself
that she can get back into the ring with some
of these incredibly talented young women. Now I think that
I believe that she can because before she stepped away,
we all have talked about it a million times. Nicki
was working at a very high level. It was the
best work she had done in her career. You could

(37:27):
tell that she had worked on her ring execution of things.
I just think she's incredibly rusty. I look, and I
do feel like there's some nerves there and some self doubt.
So this could be a really good opportunity for her
to get back on the horse and feel good about

(37:48):
herself going forward, because I do think, despite what some
people want to say and give a hard time to
her avow, I do believe that Nicki Bella has something
to contribute to today's women's division. So I'm gonna go
with Stephanie vaquer here obviously.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
So I just want to say I'm you know, I'm
happy that Nikki Bella has made her way back. I
know she's gone through a lot of a lot of
stuff in her personal life, and I'm happy that she
found her way back to the WWE. With that being said,

(38:29):
this match could have been on Monday Night Raw and
had the same impact. And I say that with the
most utmost respect, because I do think she's trying her best,
and I think that I think you're right. I think
there is some part of the lack of confidence, I
would say, and I think it's shown in some of
her work. I just don't and I get that they've

(38:54):
tried to tell a story of you are my friend,
and then I turned on my friend, and now I'm
gonna get revenge on my friend. It's been done a
million times. There's just something missing with this one. I
just feel like, and it's been a common theme with
the WWE Women's Championships altogether. As soon as a Babyface

(39:19):
wins that championship, they're kind of looked like, I don't
know what it is. I don't know what they're doing
as far as booking is concerned, and who's booking these matches,
But the champions seem to look really weak, and it
put in positions where they just they don't look like

(39:40):
they're taking it seriously. I think Stephanie vicer is extremely
talented and she deserves way better. I'm not saying Nicky
Bell is the wrong opponent. It's not what I'm saying.
What I'm saying is there needs to be a better
way to tell the story. And it's only happened over
a matter of weeks. We could have had a I
could have done a little more with this match, if

(40:02):
that's the direction they wanted to go with. I mean,
you got people that aren't on the show, like you
got a liar of Valkyria, you gotta Bailey. You've got
other women on the roster who I'm not saying would
have been the right person, but it could have told
a little bit of a better story than what we're
getting here. Hopefully it's Stefanie even care looking strong, because

(40:25):
I mean that this whole thing has kind of made
her look not look very strong at all. And the
promo last night on RAW, I mean it was I
don't know what to say about that. There's I just
don't think they're putting a whole lot of stock in
this match, and it just shows in the way that
they're they're promoting it.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I just don't think it by the way, Yeah, listen,
I want to move on from it. But yeah, sorry,
that's fine. I'll tie the bow on it with this.
I don't have an issue with this happening on this card.
It is a stacked card. Dicky bell is a messive name,
and considering that the majority of the top of your
roster is out because they're in the war Games match,

(41:08):
I don't have an issue with Nikki Bella getting the
spot here. There is a stock in the story. I'm
fine with that. I don't. I don't, I don't have
an issue with it. We'll just leave it at that.
Let's get into the final match because we are running
very very short on time here, and then we have
a couple of quick announcements that we want to make
big announcements. Actually, so WWE Intercontinental Championship match Domasterio challenging

(41:36):
Intercontinental Champion, Grand Slam Champion John steinauh Yeah, Eric, you
got your wish. We get our rematch here. What I
would agree with on this, Eric, and when we kind
of talked about over the last couple weeks. I'm I
told you though I was okay with this, I did
I didn't need him to be the final opponent because

(41:58):
I think that I want a surprise. Like I said,
I don't have a ton of expectations, but his final match,
I want to see something I haven't seen yet. And again,
we have seen the Dom thing, so I'm glad that
this is not the case. He wasn't in the tournament.
I think Dom has done really well in the in

(42:19):
the brief time we've had to build this. I thought
last night was very funny. And you know, I think
I think that John Cena is going to win. I
was back and forth on this. I just I don't

(42:40):
think John is gonna win his final match. I just
feel that it's going to be Gunther, and I don't
feel that a loss for Gunther is good for him.
So I do believe that John is going to do
the honors on the way out. So I would be
shocked if he loses. I wouldn't be I wanna say

(43:01):
I'd be shocked, but I don't believe he's going to
lose here. I think that we get a strong showing again.
From Dom. It could happen and you get your out.
But yeah, I think I think that I'm gonna go
seeing it here and I think Dom looks amazing and
strong again.

Speaker 1 (43:21):
Yeah, I'm with you that I've went back and forth
and I could see either scenario happening only because the
Intercontinental title is now on the line in this match,
which we kind of really didn't see that happening a
month or so ago at Survivor Series. I mean, we

(43:42):
kind of thought that he was probably gonna be in
war Games, but here we are, and I think only
because the titles on the line, and I don't see
that being a part of the last match, because I
think the highlight is going to be the last match itself.
I think that Sena drops the title here. I also

(44:07):
think he's going to lose his last match only because
but to your point, Gunther, if it is Gunther, which
we kind of feel like that's where it's leaning towards,
it would not make a lot of sense on how
they're positioning Gunther in these last few matches in the tournament.

(44:28):
He hasn't been dominant, but he's dominant. He's he's looked
really good. He's made others look really good. He made
Carmelo and Javon Evans look really good, So I think
it only makes sense for him to look good in
the final match. And I think it does more for
him to beat John Cena than to lose to him.

(44:49):
But with that, going back to Survivors series, I think
Sena drops the title only because I think he loses
only because the titles on the line, and I think
he lo. I think there's gonna be some Shenanigans. He's
not gonna lose clean. He's not gonna lose clean as
a sheet. It's gonna be Shenanigan's like Dom typically Nuts agreed.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
Yeah, No, I think it's it's gonna be one way
or the other. Though, I think we're we're gonna be
very satisfied with whatever we see in whatever result we
end up getting. So obviously, listen a couple announcements. We
always like to get in on these and get some
stuff in here. So we've talked about it for weeks.
We're gonna go back and talk about it again. Here.

(45:30):
Make sure you guys join us. These are on a
two D radio. We're gonna have the Lazy Booking Podcast
on December knife as well. Let me get this banner off, man.
I was doing so good with all this stuff too,
making sure I manage these banners right. John Cena's final
match December thirteenth, on Saturday Night's Main event in Washington,

(45:52):
d C. We are extremely excited to welcome Vince Russo
as a guest to co hosts for two weeks, joining
us for an hour on December ninth and an hour
December sixteenth. We're going to talk to him about the
booking of the John Cena Farewell Tour. We're gonna preview
the final match, we'll talk about the tournament that we've seen,

(46:14):
and then on December sixteenth, we're gonna review the match.
We're gonna discuss his legacy, is he amongst all the
all time greats? As well as maybe a couple of
other topics sprinkled in non John Cena related. But very
excited to welcome Vincent and it's going to be a really,
really good time, So make sure you guys stick with
us for that.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
Also, we had to postpone it this past Monday, So
upcoming Monday, I believe around eleven am, we're going to
do our Eagles talk, our Eagles Conversation with mini bars
of a feather Bird's Edition Eagles Edition. So the Blue Meenie,
Brian Hefron, He's going to join us as he always
does usually around every four or five weeks in the season,

(46:58):
and we're going to talk birds, which is not fun
to talk about right now, but we're going to do
it anyway because we love the people and Brian loves
to talk some football with us. So that's one of
our special shows. And so one of our big announcements,
and just to previace this, this is with the blessing
of our godfather at a t D Radio, we are

(47:19):
going to be expanding our Lazy Booking content. So we've
talked about Obviously we have our Facebook page Lazy Booking
Podcast and then obviously we have our YouTube page that
we've kind of used just to archive shows and we
do have some exclusive content that we put on there.
But we are going to be expanding. We're going to
be doing additional shows that are going to be exclusive

(47:41):
to the Lazy Booking Podcast TV, which is what we've
called this page Lazy Booking Podcast TV. It's all exclusively
Lazy Booking Podcasts content and information. We're going to be
doing shows dropping things, and you guys can obviously like
subscribe and follow at this at Lazybooking TV or just
search Lazy Booking podcast TV. We'll come up. You'll see

(48:04):
our logo and actually it starts tonight, right so I
say this, I am not taking it. I don't want
anybody to defer away all my hockey fans. I want
you to stay here and stick around. Well if anybody is.
If you're not a hockey fan but you love your
wrestling and you want to come and join us. In
about somewhere between an hour to an hour and a

(48:24):
half between eight thirty nine o'clock Eastern time, we are
going to be doing our Survivor series round table or so.
We had to do it tonight because it's the only
availability all week that anybody had. I hate to do
it when we have other shows here on Ay to Day.
It was all we could really do. So tonight is
our first live show over on that page. So please
feel free to join us again. If you're a hockey fan,

(48:46):
you can come and check us out tomorrow. I want
you to stay with my guys here Flyers Talk to day, stick.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
It if you want to get both you can watch
it and you can watch it on Lazy Booking TV.
After do you want to see what kind of crazy
stuff are says tonight? I say tonight about my Survivor
series fantasy teams. Yes, we're gonna we're gonna be We're
gonna be pulling out a lot of a lot of
fun stuff. I'm really really excited. Yeah, to let it all,

(49:13):
let it all out. Yeah, we're gonna talk this.

Speaker 2 (49:15):
We're gonna talk to history of the event. It's a
it's a very long history and stored event. We're gonna
talk about that. We're gonna have a Fantasy Survivor Series
draft where we So it's gonna be five of us
on the show. A couple of our guys are are
on Uh are in l a so one I mean
Eric had been friends with long time Eric's old roommine.

(49:37):
Actually yeah, another one is one of my boys, one
of my guys. He's been on Lazy Booking podcast before Nissen.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
He's does a ton of different podcasts. He's he's got
gifts out there. If you if you type in like
uh acknowledge me, there's literally a gift of him going
like this. So it comes right up. Anyway, he's gonna
be on with us, and he's gonna be on with us,
and we're going to talk. We're going to do basically,

(50:04):
everybody drafts one competitor who has participated in the traditional
Survivor Series match in that decade, So everybody gets someone
from the eighties, nineties, two thousands, tens, and twenties, and
that's going to be our five person team. Then at
some point over the next week we'll post the teams

(50:24):
on our Facebook and maybe we'll come up with something
some way to do it creatively on YouTube, but definitely
on our Facebook and Instagram pages, which that's another one.
You can find us as well as you can find
This is hard without a mouse, I gotta tell you,

(50:47):
but you can find us. You can find a two
D Radio on the Insta and we have other stuff
that we post onto there as well, so make sure
you guys check it out on there. Go Here we go,
geez Luise, follow us on Instagram at a two D
Radio as well as at Lazy Booking podcast and you

(51:08):
guys can check out that. And thank you so much
Dynasty for your first up into the page over there,
and again I want to make sure everybody knows this too.
This show, our Eagles shows with Minie will stay on
a two D radio. This is our home. This is
you know, we we were around a little bit before
we joined a two D radio, but this is where

(51:31):
you know, we've we've gained a lot of our life
and we want to make sure that everybody knows we
are not this is not uh, we're we're leaving to
go do our own thing. This is with the blessing
of Big Dad, to help grow our wrestling content here
at a two D radio. It's gonna benefit us as
a show. It's going to benefit our channels on our
stub pages as well as benefit a two D radio.

(51:52):
So we're gonna do live reaction shows. So even actually
this Saturday night, if you want to sit and you
want to listen to your old pal Andy Ridder, he's
gonna do He's gonna spearhead the live reaction show for us.
You might be right on this, buddy, don't forget you
watch a couple of weeks with my favorite was the

(52:13):
Bushwhackers versus the Bushwhackers have met on a mission as
the team doing so you could be right on this.
It's gonna be interesting. Tune in and check it out,
whether you check it out tonight and check it out tomorrow.
But yes, this is not like this is. This is
all green lit by Big Dad for us to help
us grow some of the wrestling contents. So we appreciate much,

(52:34):
We appreciate and love our family here at a two
D radio. You guys are the best. We're the best
because we're part of.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
A two D radio.

Speaker 2 (52:42):
But there'll just be some other stuff there. Might see
another show or two a week, just kind of over there,
and sometimes it might be random where we say I'm
man about this, I want to go on and do
a half hour show, and we might just pop on
and do a show. So yeah, I don't want to
get too crazy about it. We're gonna do a show

(53:03):
in like an hour, so anyway, come over. We'll talk
about it a little more over there a little later tonight.
But we love you guys. Please make sure you guys
are liking, subscribing, and following all of A two D
Radio social media pages. They're on X, they're on Instagram. Uh,
I was gonna say Twitter. I would say X and
Twitter is if they're two different things. Facebook, YouTube, are

(53:27):
there you can subscribe on all major podcast platforms if
you if you prefer audio version on your drive into
the car. So and that's where listen, We're not going
to be doing necessarily an audio version of these other shows.
This is going to be the only place you're gonna
get an audio version of our show as well. So again,
happy and excited to move forward a two D radio

(53:49):
and for them to allow us to expand what we're
doing here to grow, you know, our our content for
the for the wrestling fan base, our wrestling fans here,
So again, stick with a two D radio tonight for
our hockey fans, they're going to be coming at you
with eagles or egles. I'm talking about so much different
stuff right now. They're coming at you with Flyers talk

(54:11):
a two D and it sounds like they're going to
be talking about a similar topic Eric according to mister
Brian Daly who said earlier, and it sounds like they're
gonna be talking something regarding the age with Philadelphia Flyer.
So I'm excited to hear what they're going to be
out and we hope that you guys do too. And
if that's the case, check us out tomorrow. Then if

(54:33):
you're not pop on with us in a little bit.
Thank you to our doctor, doctor Paul Videl, specialized physical
therapy at that site right there. And that's all we
got here for this week. So unless you come and
join us in about an hour for myself or Eric
and everybody here at A two D Radio, Tom are known.

(54:54):
We love you, guys, We appreciate you guys. Thank you
for being a part of this journey with us. Side
note too, I told Eric this week, I just realized
this show joined A two D in twenty seventeen, but
it's been around since twenty sixteen early in the year,
so the ten year anniversaries coming, so I don't know

(55:15):
how we're gonna be doing that. I think we're going
to bring the Lazies back, which if you guys are
longtime listeners, we used to do it before A two
D and when the first couple of years at A
two D it's our awards show, year end awards. I
think we're going to figure out a way to bring
that back, and it's just so much cool stuff we
want to do both with A two D and on

(55:35):
the side. So we love you guys, Thank you for
the support all these years. Coming up on ten years
blows my mind. And I have names that have been
coming in here since day one. I love you guys.
Eric's happy to get to know you guys, and he
appreciates you guys as well. And until next week for
myself and Eric, next week will recap Survivor series. We

(55:58):
love you guys. Take care and as Andy always says.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
And happy Thanksgiving and oh yeah, happy Thanksgiving. Have a safe,
happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully you're able to spend it with your
loved ones and be safe if you're traveling.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
But yeah, yeah, happy Turkey Day. Yeah, absolutely, Happy Turkey Day.
Thankful for you guys, Thankful for Eric and everybody here.
And in the meantime, when you're at Thanksgiving, grab those
people that you love, tell them you love them, and
you guys, have a wonderful, wonderful week. We're out.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
