in the in the winning ways a little bit here,
we'll break that all down, getting the crumbing a week.
At the end of the show, Sixers lose to the
Hawks again and NFL we just lost to the Hawks.
Here we lose them again on a Sunday down in Atlanta,
and not without some drama at the end of the game.
It's terrible officiating in the NBA. But we'll talk Sixers
(01:19):
Hawks later on the show. Give you an early look
at Eagles Commander Saturday at five o'clock, so we'll dive
into that game a little Saturday piece.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Defense pitches a shutout, offense is efficient.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
We'll break it all down Tyson Ora a poll question,
start to comment in let us know, family, Here we go.
Despite it just being the Raiders, the defense pitching a
shutout was the most impressive aspect of today's game.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Do you agree or disagree? Let us know?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, that's where we're live everywhere. You get
your podcasts with her as well. Hit the like, subscribe, follow.
Most importantly joined the conversation tonight. Yeah, I don't care
who you're playing in the NFL, I really don't. Pitch
and shutouts and and just you know, making teams be
able to literally do nothing was impressive. Uh you know,
(02:09):
I sort of tie it with the two most impressive things.
I thought, this is why the Eagles have played this year.
I thought it can go hand and hand it in
a way. I thought the eight minute drive to open
up the football game is exactly what the doctor ordered
from this football team.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Regardless of who you're playing. It's drive one of a game.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
If you're gonna get a team sort of engage even
when they're out of it, you know, it might be
engaged drive one if you're gonna get a.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Drive per se. And I thought, we haven't seen that
all year.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
We haven't seen the eight to nine minute drive, just
sustaining it, picking up Keith Keith thurd downs stuff. This
never happened. Right, We get a big penalty throughout the
year and it will take us back or a third
and four incompletion right next thing, you know, we're putting.
So it was really nice to be able to get
that type of drive, you know, to start out this
(03:01):
football game. That being said again, in the NFL, it's
it's an offensive league. It's set up for offenses, and
they have nobody on that offense.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
It's terrible. Their offensive line is brutal. You know, we
know what.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Kenny Pickett is, right, and you know Gentry Denty, whatever
the hell's name is, because I don't even I don't
even care about him.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
I don't think he's good anyway, you know it is.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
It is what it is over there, So I'm not
I'm not saying you stopped anything special because you did it.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
They're terrible. The pitching, the shutout are good. Is good.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
And I think the big thing to take away from
this one too that's impressive is just you know, twenty
minutes on the field for your defense that's been on
the field all year long. It's time for them to
get a breather a little bit here, you know, in
this last quarter of the year, and that's a good
start to the quarter, the final quarter that we've talked
about on shows.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
This is the type of game I needed to see.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
And you know, the defense has been doing there what
they've been doing all year right as a bad team,
you go and do what we're supposed.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
To against a bad team, shut them down.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
If you're a top five defensive football this is what
you come do today. This is what you show up
and do, regardless of what your offense does, regardless of
anything else. This is what you show up to do
as a defense. And they did it again. So I
can't say enough great things about this defense right especially
up front, because that's where it's changed.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Right in a big way.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
And again they started last week better offense line than
this week. Not a good one though, But that's what
you're supposed to do, right, When you smell a little
blood in the water, you're right, and you know you're
going up against an offensive line that's not as good.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
What are you supposed to do? Go eat, go eat,
go beat them up a little bit. Go make guys
uncomfortable from the beginning. They did it to Herbert last week.
They mean, I'm comfortable from jump Street.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
And when you get a guy getting his first start
of the year, right, go make him uncomfortable from the beginning.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
What do they do? Get hits some picking early guy,
You get hits some guys early.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
You can sort of check guys out, especially in the
colt And so I guess that was my most impressive
aspect of the game, just because again getting shut outs
in this league and holding teams to like nothing at
all offensively, like twenty five passing yards or whatever that
go was something ridiculous.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
Seventy five total yards.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Seventy five total yards is it's hard to do regards
to who you're playing, right, just in this league.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
You think, once the game gets twenty four nothings.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
You know, you might get a drive right where you
get eighty yards and just a drive or seventy yards
in a drive that didn't happen. And it shows the
mental toughness of this defense. No matter what they've been
put through this year, they continue to show back up
right no matter what. If they're put right back on
the field by a turnover, they show back up.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Wherever it is, they show up.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
They don't care what happens with the offense, what happens
with anything else that's going on.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
They're gonna come out and do their job every sunning.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
It doesn't mean they don't get beat, doesn't mean that
they're perfect, That's not what I'm saying. But they've showed
up for us all year, all year besides the Chicago game,
and even in that game they held in the field goals.
So even though they didn't show up, they set my
showed up. Maybe the only game with the Giants game
when they quit, okay, but for the rest of the year,
this football team has showed up. The defense there is
(06:11):
showed up. And then you know, quickly as I just
passed this poll on you know, like I said, that
eight minute drive, nine minute whatever it was by this
offense was a real tone center and something you needed
against a.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Bad football team. I get it, but you need to
come out.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
And do the things that you're capable of doing them
because you haven't done these things all year. You haven't
done them all year, so you know, at some point
you got to start going in the right direction and
take advantage of a bad football team, take advantage of
it to get the confidence going a little bit right,
and you know, have things be contagious and a positive
(06:47):
aspect today. And they came out and played their style
of football, which the style they need offensively, right, which
is run the football. Make Jalen run the football. Open
things up you Dlax Godter and then things start to
open up. Big deep ball to Davonte right cross over
the middle of Stone aj touchdown. Things open up when
(07:07):
you run the football and you're able to enough. And
Jales' legs are the X factor, right, I don't expect
him to be. You have thirty seven hundred yards like
Matthew Stafford right now, right, but I think he's got
three thousand essentially. But if you can give me five
hundred on the ground, you're equaling the same amount of
production essentially. And you guys know what I'm saying, and
that's been the difference with him. You need to equal
(07:28):
to production to the other guys with your legs for the
most part. Right, I think he has almost four hundred
yards on the ground this year, Right, I need you
to have him about seven seven to fifty a year
on the ground. I'm not trying to get you hurt,
but I need you to use that aspect of your
game because then that makes defenses at the game plan
for that part of it.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
So there's there's my rant.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
But yeah, I get definitely impressed them just shutting anybody
out in this lake and holding them under one hundred yards.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Yeah, yeah, not easy though.
Speaker 6 (07:57):
No, absolutely, And you know so I would probably disagree,
not for argument sake, just because there's a lot going on,
you know, I mean, I think twenty seven first downs
is unbelievable, ten for thirteen on third down. You know,
one hundred and eighty three yards rushing again against doesn't
matter who against who you play. You know, three penalties,
(08:19):
which we know the last it's been a disaster, no no, no,
no turnovers, and you know thirty nine minutes time and possession.
You know, so it's for me, it's just the you know,
the blender, the whole thing. And then you, like you said,
holding the other team to seventy five yards is absolutely
mind boggling. It's you know, it's very embarrassing, you know,
(08:42):
but you know, impressive, you know, nonetheless, but just wow,
what a what a? What a who? That's a terrible offense.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
The same rock powers against seventy five yards himself. Yeah,
a seventy five yards.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
And that's the only other and the only other disagree.
I would you know in your your your opening statement
is I don't think gent sticks. I think they're such
an abomination. Now he very well might, he's a rookie,
but I don't think he does. I just think they're
so bad. Chip chip, chip cut cut right, chip caught fire?
Was that what chip was? In between coordinators? Again, like
(09:14):
you know, bad organizations do. I just want to wink,
wink wink. That's you know, when you when you start
getting rid of coordinators in season.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
You know you're Raiders. That's a Raiders pick, like they
pick like they's so many needs. A running back wasn't
in need. I thought if he went to a place
that was already good. He could be good, right, but
he's not a guy that's good enough to make you
make up for things, makes sense. I don't think he's
that because he's not. He's not electric. He's he's he's
(09:44):
gonna run you over. He's gonna get tough yards.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
And sort of wear you down type back from what
I look at him as. But yeah, there they fucking stick.
Speaker 7 (09:53):
But I mean it was pretty electric in college.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
Yeah, he did think one of the.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
House they're they're just terrible.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
I mean, they shouldn't have picked him because you don't
have an offensive line, probably shouldn't take a.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
Running I don't even then.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
I didn't even know his name well enough to even
give a shit about him tonight, you know what I mean.
So I don't you know, that's just my personal He
doesn't wow. He doesn't wow men. Maybe this word stink
is is the wrong word, but he just don't. He
didn't wow me coming in in the draft Nune, and
when the Raiders took him, I said, figures like, I
just think he if he's a guy goes fifteen, that's
twenty five, and that range to a team that's already better,
(10:27):
I think he's a great fit, right, because then I
think he then I think he's a good player. So
I'll take my wording back a little bit.
Speaker 6 (10:35):
You don't have to. I mean, I just think that
maybe for a lot of people, that's all, you know
what I mean, So that doesn't you don't have to
take that back. Look, I think a lot of people
fall into the right spot. You know, they come out
smell like fucking you know, Irish spring as opposed to
fucking ship.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
You know, because running backs can look good in good spots,
like if you've got a good up intils.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
There's only one Barry Sanders. He's not gonna great running
backs in the er in the NFL, only one Barry.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
It makes me making.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Seventy five guys missing the back, you guys.
Speaker 6 (11:07):
Miss behind the offensive line from the Lions.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
I mean, yeah, he's not missing seventy five guys in
the back or making seventy five guys miss. All right,
So you disagree? Agree, defense most impressive? What do you
guys say?
Speaker 7 (11:24):
I mean, all agree?
Speaker 3 (11:26):
That was But I kind of echo what Sweet's was
saying that, like kind of everything was impressive. It was
a it was a get right game that we needed.
It was let's just put it that way. We absolutely
needed this game. We needed to come out bury a
team like we didn't even have to play in the
fourth quarter.
Speaker 7 (11:41):
We needed it. We just absolutely needed it. We were
reeling and every well for us.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
We had a QB benching in the fourth is what
we needed. The fan base needed to see it. That's
what they were begging for all week, you know, last
three weeks, begging for it, for a new QB.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
So they that in the fourth like.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
They they did not fall on deaf ears fans. They
mixed into the noise. Have heard you loud and clear.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Well, Greg, give me yours on the on the pole
and I we'll just get into the game as a whole.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
Yeah, I'll uh, I'll drive. I was gonna disagree, but
there's been enough disagree because you could go either way.
But I'll dread. Like like you.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
Said, Tommy, when you hold someone a team, an NFL team,
I don't care who they are, to seventy five yards total,
like you're less than one hundred yards.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
And you look back to you know, revisionist history.
Speaker 8 (12:35):
You look back when the Cowboys started their three to
zero run with they win over the over the Raiders.
It wasn't just it was just the Raiders. It was
the Cowboys beat up on the Raiders, and now they're back, right,
So then now the narrative is, oh, well it's just
the Raiders, you should do this. Well yeah, well we
should have, and we did do it. We absolutely shut
(12:56):
it down. I liked what I saw from the front line,
a couple of sacks. Nolan Smith was around the football,
Joe Chot was around the football, Joemo and and Jordan
Davis were around the football. So it was good to
see these guys and they have been right. It's not
to single them out like they haven't been around the football,
but it was great to see it again, uh, continuing
(13:17):
to hold hold it down while the offense then came
out and did what they did as well.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
So yeah, absolutely agree with the ball.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah, just getting in, you know, getting into the game itself.
You know, this is the formula. This is a formula
that makes us successful. It's been this way from the
beginning of jail hurts, right.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Ni Kobe has been likeed out disgusting. Since he came back,
he's been better than born. He has the best line
back on the team.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
Yeah, besides Burns picked today, absolutely.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
Best line back on and he's made and he's made rightfully.
Speaker 8 (13:50):
So John Campbell be an afterthought and Johanna had been
playing well before he came back.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
It's a great pick and it makes that pick and
the shows that good a pick. Well that this is
what changed the defense again. You know we say things
each year, each year you can look at a turning
point for your football team, right each year.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
Last year it was it was, it was a two
piece nugget.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
It was after four weeks starting Cooper de Gene changed
his defense all right, and also twenty five attempts and
under changed his offense last year and they didn't lose
after that. But this year, I think you can look
at that, you can look at like another that that
turning point being right there right.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
When we when we talk about that.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
What a we easily uh exaggeration by Tyler Lockett today.
Speaker 8 (14:38):
Tyler Lockett, Yeah, come a scumbag come up to him
and then flop.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yeah, na Kobe, Na Kobe, Like I said, Nikobe, that.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
Was one of the three penalties.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
Yeah, well yeah, picked up to one. But it's like, yeah,
two on one play.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Like his ability real quick back then, his ability on
on past past points is ridiculous. We talked about it
weeks ago, when I think that could be another turning
point in his defense. And he's gotten healthier, this defense
has gotten better, Right. I just keep correlating things back
to what we've talked about for years now about the
Georgia guys. And when we talk about, you know, captains
(15:13):
in the middle of that that great Georgia defense, wasn't
a Kobe Dean, Right. We talked about Jayon Carter and
Jordan Davis and I know, and we talk about Walker
and he talked about all the other guys in not
Georgia defense, but that was the captain that was the
leader of that defense, that was the play call of
that defense.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Right.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
So when I look at a guy like that, you know,
we've seen it when he's healthy here, right, we've seen
the impact he's ad. So I think getting him back
healthy and each week that's going on, he's played better
and better and better. Right, I think that could be
a big turning point for this defense, because you can
win a Super Bowl and go to a Super Bowl
with a defense like this.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
You can't, you absolutely can.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
It's just this offense not going back being what they
wanted at not trying to do too much, not trying
to force stuff, not trying to be the AJ game right,
go to him when he got one on ones, go
to him in the right spots, and definitely go to
AJ once you start running with your legs jailing, because
that's what Jalen needs every game. Jale needs forty to
(16:10):
fifty yards on the ground every single game, every game,
every game, and this team will not lose much.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
I can promise that.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
I don't care if the rant we go to LA,
I don't care where we go. If you're able to
do that, if they're able to do that and run
it enough, be good enough on the ground like they
were today, good enough, and like they were last week,
good enough on the ground, there won't be many weeks
they lose if they.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Try not throwing it, throwing around the yard. And that's
not a shot.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
That's the fact that stuff we've known from day one,
and stuff I talked about last week on this show,
like it's not shot. Jal Jalen's a playmaker, right that
can't throw the football, But he's not a guy built
to throw thirty five forty times, just not He's just
not And that's okay, And if people get upset about that,
then I don't know.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Tell you, I'm here to win games, and I think
he's here to win games.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
And I think today effort of what their game plan
was shows you that they're all here to do what
win games, right, that's what matters. So you know we're now,
you know, one in three when we got aj heavily
involved again not heavily involved today able to get a
TV out of them, you know, two catches for forty
(17:20):
something and I thought, he but guess what another win?
Speaker 4 (17:24):
And if you look back through the whole season.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
We're nine and two when we're not trying to force
feed him, or eight and two, sorry, you know, eight and.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Two when we're not trying to force feed him.
Speaker 8 (17:35):
For the fed, right, I don't think all the last
I don't think last week we forced fed him. Maybe
week one, after the thing you force fed them. But
I thought everything the last two weeks, whether we won
or loss, was in was in the flow to the offense.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
It wasn't like it was one looking out.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Forcing means when we drop back and throw it thirty
five times, we're gonna be forced to throw in the
ball because he's.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
The best wide receiver that times shot at AJ Brown.
I know you've been. I know you've been in the
defense attorney for him.
Speaker 5 (18:01):
Oh no, there's no reason for those shots. It's not
forcing a.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Shot with a shot.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
When you drop back thirty five times, you're gonna try
to get to your number one target as many times
as possible.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Is that a shot or is that the facts of
football shot?
Speaker 7 (18:16):
He catches the ball against the charges, we win.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
I understand. I'm not is isn't an AJ? Isn't taking
a shot to Aj?
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Is it taking a shot away of trying to be
an offense?
Speaker 4 (18:27):
We're not. I don't try and explain everybody, I'm not
shooting Aj. Yeah, we got times.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
If you got Maddie Stafford, you can sit back there
and throw it thirty five times a game, Fine, then
then you're not forcing it to Aj.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
But in a jailing world.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Where you need his legs, you need r p O,
you need you need to get other things involved too, right.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
I just don't think.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
I think when you drop back thirty five, Jalen's going
to be forcing it to a j If that even
makes more sense, Jalen would force feed it now. Last week,
like Will said, you know aj three ball wins the game.
It catches one of them.
Speaker 7 (19:02):
No, you're right.
Speaker 5 (19:03):
All you gotta do is catch one.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
What a three?
Speaker 6 (19:05):
What a four?
Speaker 5 (19:06):
Really?
Speaker 6 (19:07):
What a four?
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Because the other one turned no pick? So one of
four balls, no one over the middle. I'll give you
that one. In today's world. You know that curses towards
a cl and the same type of ball, So I
get it. But the other three, they're your balls, babe,
there are go rats.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
That's what you're getting paid the big bucks for it.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
Yeah, I guess, yeah, I guess. I don't know if
you know who knows this force is the right word,
but it's at least double digit targets in the last
five weeks, so you know that's could be uh considered
forced or that's your best wide receiver and you're trying
to get them involved. You know who knows the squeaky
oil does come. The squeaky oil gets the whe you know,
(19:48):
you know gets I mean, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
You know, this is what happens that after everything comes
out and the media makes it a bigger deal than
it is rightfully. So we're gonna follow the media role here,
and we're gonna try to get him involved because we
feel pressured as a team and organizationally, and I get that.
And you want to make a guy feeling bob because
he is your best player offensively. Nobody's a debating any
(20:13):
of this stuff. That's the crazy part. It's just that
we're not built for him to get fourteen targets a game.
We're built to throw it twenty five times a game.
Where's fourteen targets coming from Davonte s Smith needs targets himself.
Dallas gotta.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
Five weeks of at least eleven plus.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, Davonte Smith needs targets like I mean, Devona Smith,
Dallas got it. Those guys need targets. They're playmakers too
so and Jaleen needs to use his legs. So when
you factor all those things into it, you know he
should be around the eight targeting game with which he's
averaged over his time year with the Philadelphia Eagles. Then
nobody's want to listen to me on that's his average.
It's about eight and a half. If he lives eight
(20:52):
and a half, we don't lose. If he lives in
the eight and a half world, we don't lose that.
That's the fact no shot today a j We need agent,
you need the Vonte, you need them all because when
he starts running and the run game opens, where do
you think big explosive plays come from. Where do you
think the ability for him to do what they really
want to do. You saw it today again, bad football team,
(21:16):
but you still saw those results happened quick right, one
on one balls. Those opportunities should from a little bit
of him running, just a little bit. Sorry, I'm gonna
jail and run the football rampage because it's a difference
makeer of our offense.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
It's just it who it is.
Speaker 8 (21:34):
I said, you saw it right, and and you look
at the offensive you look at the offensive playbook today,
it's it's they've they went back and did everything that
we've asked them to do over the last few weeks
when they've struggled, right, they've ran the football effectively. They
they went on long drives. They where they sustained drives
that cast in points too. Right, if you look back
(21:55):
at at at the Chargers game, we didn't always casting
those points. We had those turns, you know, we went
on because I liked a lot of what we did
offensively in the Chargers game. We just had Jalen's worst
game of his career, and we've still, like we just said,
we still were give me one catch for aj and
we win the game, or Jalen doesn't, doesn't throw that
(22:17):
last interception and we probably win the game there. So
I like what we've been doing offensively the last few weeks.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Now.
Speaker 8 (22:24):
Of course, when you're facing an inferior opponent, you're gonna
finish those, but you're also given those. You're gonna finish
this drive, but you're given that offense now a whole
bunch of confidence. And the other thing, whether it was
injury or not, we saw a lot of guys involved today,
like our to our point right, Like, we saw a
lot of guys involved. Everybody up and down the wide
(22:44):
receiver group tank Bisney got a little work now and
actually most of the tank was in mop up mode.
But you know we were asking for take a little
bit off of Saquon, take a little bit off of ear,
take a little ball. Everything came to a head today
and we had naturally dominated with that.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Yeah, and like again, I don't I don't think we're
a team that can't throw it thirty times to win.
Makes sense, It's just it's just putting your it's just
putting your quarterback in a position to turn it over
when you have such a great defense or a really
good one, even if you have a really good defense.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Right, Because we know the way this league works, we
don't even have to do these shows.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
In reality, we could just come on here and say,
who want to turnover battle today?
Speaker 4 (23:25):
All right, that's what they want?
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Like it's that simple, Like I who wants to turnover
Battle of today? Yep, that's he probably won. And you
go to all the whole list of teams, and most
likely that team's gonna win, right clip just a turnover
battle alone? Why another reason have the Eagles been so successful?
They don't turn it over? He doesn't turn it over, right,
that's another reason. So you play me, what your straints are?
(23:49):
Great defense? Play to it, play to it. Find your identity.
Everybody's like, oh, what's the identity we yelled about this week?
And I yelled at Tony on Thursday night. I said, guys,
their identity has been right in front of them, Like,
I don't understand why it's so hard. They're not looking
for that identity. They're trying to do to their identity
that's a different thing. They're trying to make to the
have some success with their identity. They're not trying to
(24:10):
find it. Holy shit, their identity has been the same
identity for three years.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
It's run the football, play great defense, went.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
Up front, absolutely, and then yeah, it's timely turnovers too,
you know, because you can't use as you saw last week,
you can lose the turnover battle. It's when it's when
you turn it over, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Yeah, and you turn over five times, you're not gonna
win many games. Sure, And the fact that you're in
a game where you with a chance to win it
with four turnovers already going into that is amazing. I
mean that that alone shows you how good you are defensively. Again,
it all goes back to it. You can be the
eighty five Bears again. I mean their defense won of
the Super Bowl. I know the offense and Gene was
the MVP. I get that, but if you if you
(24:55):
really watch the game, the defense won Super Bowl last year.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
They can do it again. They ended what they ended
the Chiefs. They ended it. They said bye bye.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
They broke them down right, They broke them for a
year or two whatever it is.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
But this defense can do the same thing again.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
And I was saying the same for losses, that they
have the ability to carry you if you're allowed to,
if you allow them to.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
I mean, it was a huge get right game. But
I'm not want to get ahead of myself. The Raiders
are fucking awful. Well, that's terrible.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
I want to see them.
Speaker 7 (25:26):
Carry this momentum.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Just carry the momentum and play well next week because
the Raiders are terrible.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Yeah, well, the defense isn't about the Raiders. The defense
is about No.
Speaker 6 (25:35):
You're right good, but but I agree with you. But
three weeks ago it's the same defense. He gave up
two hundred yards rushing at home and again, be nominally
it's one game. So again I'm not taking a shot
at you or anybody else. I'm just saying, three weeks.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
Ago, how many times are going to play four two
games in four days. So if that happens to the playoffs,
everybody knock on my door and let me know, because
then maybe I'll expect it again. I don't expect it
that to happen often. The two times that's happened this
year has been well, we got to stay on the
field of the offense. Well that's the part of it,
that's the part time.
Speaker 6 (26:13):
Perfect exactly. But that doesn't mean I know. But that's
what I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. Is there anybody great? Absolutely,
it's a great defense, right, But you can't you also
in the scene breath can't be like well, I need
everything to be right and perfect for us to be great,
like you know what I mean, like we gotta we
we gotta be well rested, we gotta mean no, we
(26:35):
gotta be great all the time. So listen, that's what's one.
It was a fucking anomaly, a right. You know, you
never you don't see this defense get embarrassed like that.
So I chalked I chalked it up. I chalked it
up that Friday. I chalked it up, as you know,
you chalk it up a short week. I just chalked
it up, as you know, you got your lunch money
stolen from you, you didn't compete, and you got embarrassed.
So learn from from you learn.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
From that happened. You learn were you know, we are
on the field the whole game defensively, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:02):
And that's exhausting.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
And that's my point going back this this able drives.
Be good enough offensively and it's not. It's not just
like it doesn't have to be a perfect storm with
this team. It's really just be good enough offensively the
same drives, and.
Speaker 7 (27:17):
Don't turn over.
Speaker 5 (27:18):
That's it it is.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Don't turn it over.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
They got a chance the go to an NBC title game.
That's I'm not getting ahead of myself. I said, I'll
say that from week one all the way through. They're
different the Chicago game. Turn the football over, you lost.
I mean it's not hard. Yes, you gave up a
ton on the ground, you got embarrassed. But the other
part it is you turn it over.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Right me.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
Where we are currently is that if like with our
defense is going to keep us in every game. I
think we know that, right, So if the offensive plays well,
we can beat anybody. We also could lose to anybody.
Speaker 5 (27:51):
We saw that early in the year though, too, right, Well,
we saw that when we were.
Speaker 7 (27:54):
Making of play winning games.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Yeah, well, anybody can beat anybody in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
We know how this works, right, Yeah, I'm what I'm saying, Like,
if you're telling me, oh, we're gonna go to the
super Bowl, we definitely could. We played well, we definitely could.
We all would say there's seven teams. I think there's
seven teams in the NFC. They can go to super Bowl.
N tough, you know what I mean, Like I'm I'm
I mean, Lin's probably not gonna make the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
Me telling you the Eagles can go to the super
Bowl to seven. Yeah, it's not me being a Homer,
it's the it's the NFC. They're damn good teams.
Speaker 7 (28:20):
And yeah, like, let's be honest, team is.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
Going to be a team. But I don't think Seattle goes,
but they could go. They're good enough to go.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
They're eleven and three. Yeah, their defense is very good,
so I mean their defense can carry them. I think
they're eleven and two three.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
They have one. They have three losses.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Losses Okay, yeah, is a RAM The Rams have two Rams?
Three Okay, so there they both have three. So no
one has two in the NFC, No, no two Okay, Okay.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
So talking about that, you can sort of you can
sort of wrap that up now, shooting for home field,
any of that through at one.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
But we're gonna get We're gonna win the division at
least one.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
I know. But they gotta lose. You're talking about having
to lose two out of three games.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Well, they face Seattle here on a short week this week.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
Okay, yeah, well then maybe pre damn good, I'll tell
you that.
Speaker 5 (29:16):
But Davante's might be out.
Speaker 7 (29:19):
I would assuming it is.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
But then eleven and three two, So my point is
it makes it really hard.
Speaker 7 (29:24):
Yeah, one of them is gonna get one of them
is gonna win the game.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (29:27):
So yeah, and then Bears face the Packers where they
potentially get another loss.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Yeah, all do all that can happen here to help
us is the evanage of getting a two or three seats.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Well, yeah, we just gotta worry about us.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Yeah, but getting you know, getting another one.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
We're definitely the four because the NFC South is we yes,
we're gonna get the three or two.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
Well, this is why Saturday is so important.
Speaker 8 (29:52):
Well that's the thing too, Like we sit here, we're like, oh,
it's just the Raiders, and then we get the comedies twice,
so it's like, oh, it's just gonna be just the comedies.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
But hey, that' that's what our schedule is. And after
what we just went through the last.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Three weeks, all we need to do is when you
know when you don't, we better come to play against
comedies because they're gonna battle. They don't look that bad.
They looked terrible a couple of weeks ago, but Mariota's
been throwing the ball decently. Well, they're getting mclaurin's back healthy.
They're gonna battle. If that's not a walk through game, No, no.
Speaker 6 (30:22):
Like I said, I think if you if you're just,
if you're if you're a normal, if you're just a
normal person, that it looks at things normal like I
think you only read you should nobody should ever just
say because the Eagles got a ton of great wins,
so it's not like they play cupcakes, you know what
I mean. So it's not like they play cupcakes. So
you get a win today. I think the only reason
you would use that narrative today is if the guys
(30:44):
come out of the woodworks from three weeks. They were
hiding for three weeks because they were embarrassed, and they
when everybody fired, they want all that stuff. Then they
come out today, you know, puff chest, and then you know,
now we're back and you know broad Street. Now they
just keep the same energy you had for three weeks.
Then you know what I mean, Like you could be
angry and they weren't playing well all right, but they
were in those games. You know, as bad as it was,
(31:05):
you know, the penalties and the turnovers, they still had
a chance to win those games, you know what I mean.
So there's no reason to say like, oh, it was
just the Raiders unless you're just trying to, you know,
act like it was just such an impressive win, you
know what I mean, Like, you know, it was much
needed win, and it was how they did it was impressive, right,
But you know that's that's the only that's the only
(31:28):
retort I would have to that. But you know, they
did plenty of great wins, so you play it was
on your schedule, I mean that, you know, So that
narrative is, you know, it was weak for all the
the Eagle haters to say that, like you said.
Speaker 7 (31:39):
They playing good wins.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Yeah, honestly, we're rooting for Chicago to lose, right because
we won against the other teams in the NFC North,
so we hold a timebreaker.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
Over Chicago Chago.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
Yeah, play them, we want we want Chicago to lose.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
That's well, you know, it's just big to me.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
These next two weeks are bigger than the third week.
And why in the last week, I should say, And
the reason is if you can somehow get these next
two right with Buffalo, we know what that is. But
if you somehow get these next too, what that open
What that opens up is the ability for week seventeen
or eighteen, whatever week that's considered now, is for that,
for that breather week that's much needed for this offensive line. Right,
(32:22):
That's why I look at it. Week seventeen. I would
love it to not mean anything. Sure, you know last
year I said I want I needed that building and
buy somewhere because of just a long season.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Where we had our buy last week was after week four.
It's a long it was a long year to go
without it.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
So you needed that breather, which they got this year
by it was a little later, but the it didn't
really help the injury process too much. So, uh, knowing
guys you know getting those you know, getting those bumps
and bruises throughout the year, would love to give a
We'd love to give them that extra week somehow.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Yeah, and even playing that.
Speaker 8 (33:01):
I think that fourth quarter helped today, right, Just a
couple couple of less snaps from everybody on that first
team to just relax and and and take it down
and called it called an afternoon, especially on a short week.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
You have another short week in the defense to be
on the field only twenty minutes. So important, right, so important,
the little thing so huge. Again, they're bad, but you
still got to go out and make them bad.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Yeah, you hang around then, you know, that's how it
can be bad. They did what they had to do today,
came out dominating a bad football team.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
That's exactly get right.
Speaker 4 (33:37):
You gotta get right.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
You gotta get some contagiousness going on, some good stuff.
Like how do you get contagious playing well? Without playing well?
Speaker 6 (33:44):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Like, how do you how do you get going start
to climb them ounta and without without step? If you
never take the step, we can't climb them out and babe,
So they took it. They took the step today and
last week. In reality, they took a little step in
terms of sustaining drive last week before the before the turnovers.
This week, yeah, this week they okay, we're gonna sustain
(34:07):
those drives without the turnovers. Okay, next week a little
bit better of a football team, even the record indicates similar,
but we know a little bit better of a football
team next week, right, division team?
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Better defense? Can you can you do that again? Right?
Can you start to sustain? Sustain?
Speaker 1 (34:24):
And then okay, we'll talk about Buffalo when we get there,
but that's another big test. And then can can it
sort of flourish? Because if it does and you get
that flourish, I think as a fan base, you can
feel a little bit better going into the postseason if.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
You're able to get hey, hey, we feel halfway up
the mountain. I mean, we feel halfway up the mountain
right now. We feel like we're growing.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
When you have a quarter of a season left, it's
not too late to fix things, not fix it, but
we get it right a little bit sure and feel better.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
And today is that that actra that other step.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
To maybe feel a little bit better and you need
that because it could have been thirty one twenty one.
Speaker 4 (35:03):
Do you feel that much better about it? It could
have Sorry, it could have been twenty one fourteen. We
know how this.
Speaker 6 (35:10):
A lot of pro sport, not sports in general, is
comes down to you know, mental and confidence, you know,
and and feeling good about yourself. So look, yeah, that
goes a long way, you know in every sport, you
know dress you know for ten over twelve and you know,
and and the Rockies coming back, He's coming down and
(35:31):
you get well, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (35:33):
Oh my god, I used that.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Was their analogy on Wednesday, Rockies come in a little
ten ten.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
We said, we're talking about ten run first.
Speaker 6 (35:42):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
That was a penmante drive. That was a ten nine
minute drive. Eight minute drive.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
Yes for it, we got it. We did get it. No,
you're you're so right. We got we got that drive.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
And that's why I opened up where that could have
been the most impressive thing because we didn't do that
all freaking year.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
We didn't do it. Even in the Giants game. We
did have an eight minute drive, right.
Speaker 5 (36:03):
Which a bunch of quick hitters and stuff.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Yeah, yeah, it was explosive, Like I like to see
that we have the ability to do that again.
Speaker 6 (36:10):
Yeah, what was it? Yeah, exactly what was It's in
your arsenal. It's okay because last year you didn't have it,
because I mean you had you had, you had it,
you had a little bit of it. It's because well
you had yeah, you had it in your Arsenal. But
SA had about nine runs of sixty yards or more,
you know, sixty touch you know, sixty yard tis. I
(36:31):
think you might have had seven sixty yard touchdown runs, bro,
you know what I mean. There's so you can't have
a long drive when that happens, right, So you had it,
you had it in you, but you did it in
the fourth they didn't need.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Yeah, got a fourth quarter seven minute drives last year
they run up yeah yeah, but in the first quarter
they never needed to sweeps this point because they have
a seventy yard or breakoff or a home run a
j or home run to.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Davonte, and they didn't have those like they didn't they
didn't need it. So explosive. Right after Week four, everything
they did was explosive.
Speaker 8 (37:08):
And that's and that's where I think, you know, this year,
everyone's kind of like doesn't know what's going on because
we forget how how special last year and how everything
just fell into place last year. You know, like now
we're sitting there back like, you know, we gotta go
win football games. We're not just rolling in you know,
walking off the bus would have win. You know, We're
(37:29):
gonna go win football games this year. And after last year,
we think it should be that easy all the time,
and it's it's not.
Speaker 5 (37:36):
It's the NFL.
Speaker 8 (37:38):
But it was great to see, you know, every other
week two we're sitting here, I don't care what it
looks like. Just win, right, Chargers, Chargers game, I don't
care what it looks like.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Just win.
Speaker 5 (37:47):
Well today we needed this.
Speaker 8 (37:49):
We needed them to look good, we needed to dominate,
We needed to look good today, and they did.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Especially another short week. We forget about it, the short
week home from LA really short week. So you know,
to play like this and then you follow it up
with a short week again, you know, it's craziness. So
but it's even more impressive that you're able to get
things going offensively in the short week and maybe shows
you that everybody in the buildings are moron right, Like
(38:16):
we've talked about like sometimes this guy's up front need
to go win some win some battles, right, go look
clear some holes. I mean we talked about some Saquon
runs from Monday night that if he would have just
had a little bit better vision, could could have could
have changed the course of the game.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Yeah, the one down the goal line.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
You never get to the penalty because if he cuts
in instead of rides, instead of riding the left side
of the offensive lineman, if he if he just stays
middle and cuts a little bit in from the two
yard line, you know, he works his way into a
touchdown right there.
Speaker 4 (38:49):
But instead he picks the wrong way to go and
runs into d lineman.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Not playment home, just saying little things, little things, and
when you're and when you're when you're great. I know
you can lose a step after a monster year, but
you can't lose vision after a monster year, right, you
know what I mean? There's there's there's things allow uh
and my my allowance here and what I what time
or no one allows and doesn't allow I guess my rules,
(39:13):
my rules and regulations and sports.
Speaker 6 (39:15):
It would be nine. It maybe nine minutes away from
getting a little more rest than you thought here.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
Well then maybe it comes down to one magic numbers one.
Speaker 6 (39:22):
Then yeah, get a little more rest here because they
alluded to you can't you're never going to get to
the four, so you're gonna be the two or three,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 8 (39:31):
So yeah, sure, one, Greg, it was three going into
this week. Any combination of wins and at Gallas loss.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
Actually one of them to win, so they can keep
drinking their kool aid that they have a chance, and
then they stay on her ass a little bit, so
we just have to.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
We're up, gave and a half on them.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
Yeah, No, I knew.
Speaker 7 (39:49):
I knew it was we If we went too and
two and they went four and oh, they would win
the division.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
That's what I knew.
Speaker 7 (39:53):
So we had to make sure we didn't.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
That didn't happen. Yeah, I have a feeling that was not.
Speaker 5 (39:58):
They weren't. No, after their win. The magic number is two.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
More of a where else going three, one and three
and then going three and head around that.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
But they haven't won ship ever and I don't expect
it to start happening now, and they will collapse when
when needed, when caught upon him and here were their
defense is track.
Speaker 5 (40:19):
It's two as of right now after after our win.
So Dallas loss, we got.
Speaker 8 (40:25):
Any one more win, I got you or even we
don't even need to win. They just need to lose
one more true true, and I'd see Dave the Chargers
next week.
Speaker 9 (40:38):
You are correct, Yeah, just to go it was again
and get right game.
Speaker 7 (40:49):
I think we've been talking about it we needed it.
It was exactly what we needed.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
Now you gotta get ready for the comies, and it's
at comedies, right, first one, first one's at comies, right, yeah, so.
Speaker 7 (41:01):
We're or so we are? We is it at comics?
At bills and then him for the last game.
Speaker 6 (41:05):
Yeah, definitely got he got away. He got away with
a hole there there, Craig, But you know, what are
you gonna do? Referees or terrible anyway, wouldn't have matter,
wouldn't played in factor. But he did get away with
a whole.
Speaker 5 (41:22):
Yeah. It was some big hold, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
It was.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
It was all in the touchdown too, right, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I thought, so what's his name? I mean, I thought
Goddard had a good game except for that brutal drop.
I love how he's pointing himself afterwards, like, yeah, we know, Dallas.
Speaker 4 (41:42):
Whether the touchdown or was it the deep? Part of
the Vonte was the deep?
Speaker 7 (41:47):
You're right, deep? All wasn't a touchdown?
Speaker 4 (41:49):
Was gonna fifty yards either way? Set up a touchdown?
Speaker 5 (41:52):
Big?
Speaker 7 (41:52):
I mean, it's a big one. It's not pelling if
they don't call it all right.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
That's that's all about patalty. So I'm glad they missed
one holy ship.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
If we had enough penalis on some weak ship, you know,
I still run back to the a lot of holding
on the A J touchdown last on Monday Night. It's
the weak in today's holding world, you know what I mean?
Like not didn't didn't dictate the play.
Speaker 4 (42:18):
But didn't.
Speaker 6 (42:20):
No, Like that's why I like, I'm a big I'm
a big turn guy. I use my eyes. I use
my eyes.
Speaker 4 (42:30):
And you know what I was like, I know you
guys do to the simplest one. Did it did it
affect the platu?
Speaker 5 (42:35):
That's it?
Speaker 4 (42:36):
I think?
Speaker 5 (42:38):
Where is it right here?
Speaker 4 (42:41):
Yeah, it's not baseball, it's not baseball.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
Like he balks, he balks, like you know what I mean,
there's there isn't didn't affect something.
Speaker 4 (42:48):
If he's balking, he's walking right, that's not, that's not
that's not something.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
That's an interpretation that that is that is factual, like
a whole can be like it can be interpreted differently,
like they didn't affect something.
Speaker 3 (43:02):
Tommy the other side of the play or way behind
the play or something like come on. It's like you're
also like telling your guys like come on, dude, what
are you doing? Or down the field, but also like field.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Always gets me to yea, the illegal man downfield tells me,
tells me that, okay, you guys got money on something.
When it's the legal man downfield that they're fifty yard
play and that guy, that guy that was a yard down.
Speaker 4 (43:25):
Too far, he dictated something. Oh that's what you tell me.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
Somebody was keeping an eye on the big lineman and
make sure they're covering him fifty yards down the field.
Like there's there's certain plays in the NFL, not even
just Eagles, just in generally you're like, come on, knock
it off, like you just wanted you just wanted to
do something.
Speaker 4 (43:43):
They quote to pot.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
I mean, listen anymore. Listen. Don't get any more embarrassing
or glaring than the Rams Lions game. I mean, Parkinson's
down to two and they come on like I don't
even know how you come back, and the if they
help me in the headset, Hey we're keeping that a touchdown.
I can't even announce that to the crowd or the
TV because I feel like everybody's gonna absolutely egged my house.
(44:07):
I can't even make it. I can't even make the announcement.
That's how embarrassing.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
I am.
Speaker 6 (44:17):
Incredible.
Speaker 5 (44:18):
It always amazed when a replay and still get it wrong. Yeah,
like right, like.
Speaker 4 (44:25):
DeVante won to that he literally caught the ball.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
On the mark on the marker and you know, like
they wrote, you know, and I'm like waiting for him,
like you guys have replay assists for a reason. New
York is like the perfect bar, like the perfect man cave. Right,
he's got a million screens. No reason for you guys
not to be like, hey, let me call down.
Speaker 6 (44:46):
There, and they go in. They loved and like they
love to think we're stupid and go with Well, what
they called on the field is tough to overturn. Your anshole,
you're that's that's just your asshole talking. You understand Thursday night.
All right, Pitt's arm clearly lands out first, not as
what was that about? Not as butchy right, his elbow lands.
(45:08):
It's not simultaneous. It's not clear that it's clear elbow first. Butchie,
come on, man, like it's just.
Speaker 7 (45:18):
Brian Wilson is playing against him in Fantasy.
Speaker 4 (45:23):
Down.
Speaker 7 (45:24):
That's number three. Guy had the game of his fucking life.
Speaker 4 (45:29):
For you.
Speaker 7 (45:29):
Yeah, you know it'll be six.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
An anshole, he's like I figured I was up so
much of this left t Higgins in today.
Speaker 7 (45:34):
Oh I love the guy.
Speaker 3 (45:36):
I had a guy with a zero. He's the guy
just left him in. I'm like, you're a piece of ship.
Dropped one seventy on me in the playoffs. What a
fucking asshole, I told him. I said, if you wake
up in your cars egged, you know you know where
to look.
Speaker 5 (45:55):
No.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
I agree with everything, but the Rams score thirty by
accident like one us, Like I just thought, you know,
in the high in high in the twenties, for sure
they'll score that easy. I think they'll have a little
trouble getting thirty by accident on us, on us other teams,
for sure. Absolutely, they're loaded offensively. I just think we
give them, we're going our hurt them because they go
(46:20):
to him in the red zone.
Speaker 5 (46:21):
Crazy.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Well, just even if he listen, if he's healthy, he's awesome, Right,
I get it.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
But like my whole point is, you went up front
and if you can put pressure on Stafford, right, it
doesn't matter, It might not matter. And it comes down
to this defensive line where all our resources are. Where
are resources upfront? Where do we where do we pride
ourselves at upfront. So when you pride yourself there, if
you can go win. You know, I don't know if
(46:47):
they score thirty by accident, that's all I mean. I
know what he's saying.
Speaker 4 (46:50):
He meant everybody else, but not but again not everybody.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
If your top five defense, I don't know if they're
going to score thirty by accident on you.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
That's all.
Speaker 1 (46:59):
That's my only, my only difference. Twenty twenties. Yes, accidentally thirty.
I think you need a little bit, maybe not by accident.
Speaker 3 (47:07):
That we just got to sustained drives, you know what
I mean, Tommy. If we sustain drives offensively, then then
our defense is fresh. Though they're gonna look good. It
doesn't matter who we play. If we sustain drives offensively,
our defense stays fresh. They're going to look good. Now,
if we're on the field ball game, like we've been
a couple of times this year, that's when we can
start having breakdowns.
Speaker 6 (47:26):
Well yeah, and absolutely one and just a step further,
which is I agree with that one thousand percent is
the key. But out of the hands of the guy
that's dangerous, you know, the other guys that are dangerous,
you know, the offensive the teams you're playing, you know
what I mean. So if those guys are you know,
clearly offensive, geniuses or juggernauts whatever whatever you want to
you know, write down on paper. You know, you keep
(47:46):
the ball away for me, You play key away and
the less possessions they have and they can't get.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
To thirty, absolutely tough to score on the ball.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
Yep, yeah, yeah, really tough scoring on the ball. We
sold that last Syracuse playing Nerding. We saw that last
season with uh. We saw that last postseason in the
Rams game.
Speaker 5 (48:07):
Right.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
We did a good job in the playoff game at
home sort of keeping it out of their hands for
the most part. Why I was a little bit of
a lower scoring type game than you would expect from
from those two teams. I mean, whether I had a
little bit of part of it, obviously, but for sure.
But you guys, you guys know what I mean in
terms of that.
Speaker 7 (48:24):
You keep multiple both get after it. I mean, if
we play them, it's going.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
To be a bottle, you know it. We know that. Well.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
I don't even want to look forward to that, right,
I wouldn't look forward to another to win a playoff
game against a good team Before that somebody said in
the chat, I just want to I don't care who
we play these last three weeks, and then we heard
the last four I should say that last quarter.
Speaker 4 (48:43):
I don't care who we played. I think he's short,
definitely is.
Speaker 6 (48:49):
I just want to.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
I just want to be I just want to be
hot going in, right. I just want to be hot
ash going in. I want to be feeling good about
ourselves going in to the dance. If I think if
we're feeling good about ourselves going in, all right, if
we are as a fan base, we will be as
a football team. I was short, and there's no reason,
there's no reason that we can't, you know, go win
(49:11):
two games in the playoffs, because you know what I
always say, and we always say, like, you know, if
you get to an NFC title game, you know, just
give me a chance, right.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
I always talk about, yeah, just give me a seat at.
Speaker 7 (49:23):
The table, right, and and the defense see the table that.
Speaker 6 (49:29):
Starting defense can go win you a game like that,
So give me a this.
Speaker 9 (49:37):
I love that movie and get fired up a lot
about the.
Speaker 6 (49:40):
Unhanded version too. I need to watch the unhanded version.
Speaker 7 (49:44):
Put the women and children bang looking for a fucking dinner.
Speaker 6 (49:47):
Laying in the middle of the road. They took that out.
Speaker 7 (49:49):
It took that out because some kids got right over.
Speaker 6 (49:55):
Use your head.
Speaker 7 (49:56):
Yeah, hey, kids, don't lay in the street.
Speaker 6 (49:58):
Yes, after school special.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
He will help you there.
Speaker 7 (50:04):
Don't lay in the fucking street.
Speaker 6 (50:05):
Fucking Hollywood, But I digress. Take it out, take it out.
Speaker 3 (50:13):
Great movie, Alvin Kill, Everyone says Adidas.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
Yeah, Billy Phil has been a really big acquisition for
us to really changed the welcome.
Speaker 7 (50:32):
What funny is I don't think the Dolphins of losses
they trade him.
Speaker 4 (50:35):
No, they've played well since. Yeah, for sure, they're great,
and we haven't.
Speaker 7 (50:44):
They have what they want six or six in a row. Switch,
is that what they want?
Speaker 4 (50:48):
We played five hundreds since we got him. Yeah, think
about it.
Speaker 5 (50:52):
Started off all hot.
Speaker 7 (50:56):
But he has played well though.
Speaker 4 (50:57):
Yeah for sure.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
Yes, he's a great addition and again the reason why
this defense can win your games in the postseason.
Speaker 4 (51:03):
But they got to continue.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
Playing like this the rest of the year, and this
offense has to continue to grow off of today. Needs
to carry in the Saturday. And if we can get
this carry over in the Saturday, and we can sustain
drives and these third down opportunities that come up, we're
able to stay on the field like we did today
ten out of thirteen.
Speaker 4 (51:20):
When you're doing stuff like that, right, one, it's going
to change the way you go.
Speaker 7 (51:24):
Saturday.
Speaker 4 (51:25):
Yeah, five o'clock. That's fun. Five o'clock Saturday.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
So if we can go into this and we can, right,
if you can, if you can stay that another week, right,
My point of that is it starts that that becomes
contagious too, right, staying on the field. That that is
another one. You know, getting off the field. We saw
that all year. I mean we led to we lead
the leg in third down conversions. So to be able
to go ten for thirteen and sort of shift that
(51:52):
a little bit for a day, let's go shift it
again next week.
Speaker 4 (51:57):
Right.
Speaker 3 (51:57):
I think that's the record this year for most games
play on different days Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
Speaker 5 (52:05):
And yeah, I mean so again you look at the
year as a whole, like the wacky schedule that we
had no back to back home games. Yeah, short week,
all for short week, all for short week.
Speaker 4 (52:18):
Yeah, no back to back home games.
Speaker 6 (52:21):
Is the show saves me a trip to the link.
Speaker 4 (52:26):
Only back to back home.
Speaker 1 (52:27):
Game we might uh we might get would be obviously
last game of the year and then playoff game yeah,
wild card. Yeah, so, which would be nice because maybe
then things go our way again you get the two
or three three. See, maybe you're playing two games now, right,
or you would be playing two games, you know, so
you know that's what you're so what you're sure of
shooting for here.
Speaker 7 (52:48):
Absolutely, that's what you're absolutely shooting for.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
Oh yeah, Bill, Like we just talked about, they screwed
us for sure, but that's part of winning the super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (52:57):
But I've never seen a super Bowl winner have this much.
Speaker 3 (53:00):
No, the no back to back home games is crazy,
crazy crazy.
Speaker 4 (53:06):
Gave them.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
The respect to be the Super Bowl champion. Your last
two games in a year, minimum should have been at home.
Figure it out before that. You should have finished the
year at home, at minimum, because that's when the body's attired, right,
That's when the flight in and the different things.
Speaker 4 (53:24):
If you got the springs and different things like that.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
You know, flights don't help that, right, So that's when
you give a team, Hey, your last two games are
at home, right, and you just slow it down a
little bit there, But no, you want to come out
and give us a goddamn fucking Saturday game at the
game is, Hey, we just got done playing Monday night
to fly all the way home from LA to play
Sunday at one, and now you want to get cute
and throw.
Speaker 4 (53:47):
A Saturday at five? And are you are you guys assholes?
You had to this one? Was? This one was chosen.
You chose this.
Speaker 1 (53:53):
This wasn't like pre scheduled. You said, hey, we're gonna
be jerk offs. Look at us mixing Saturdays here flex
flex it out Saturday, assholes. And I don't get caught
up in the schedules. But this one, even when we
went over in August, I was like, what Yeah, I was.
I was like, God, I don't get caught up in this.
I still think they're you know, at the time I
(54:15):
thought they were a third.
Speaker 6 (54:16):
Probably missed it. Probably missed it because it might just
say the date, might not say to say to day.
Speaker 4 (54:20):
I mean, yeah, we probably didn't miss it. To be honestly,
probably was Saturday. The whole time. We didn't know a time,
and then the time comes down like Saturday. We had
this date the whole time. We went back and looked
at the dates dates. No doubt about it slipping out
in August.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
About Saturday five. Another short week, you jerk offs an
indivisional game two. Imagine if it meant something. I mean,
if Daniels was playing, this will be a schedule loss.
Speaker 6 (54:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (54:51):
Oh, thank god they're stupid.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
But either either way, either way, it's just it's a
mid Thank god Josh has bought then.
Speaker 6 (55:00):
Thanks Josh.
Speaker 5 (55:00):
I appreciate you, appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (55:02):
But it's tough though.
Speaker 3 (55:06):
I feel like the guys that rehab and they want
to play, it's tough to be like, listen, you're healthy,
but we're not playing it.
Speaker 7 (55:12):
So double edged sword.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
But I hear you, but there was.
Speaker 7 (55:22):
Yeah, but you don't think he wants to play Greg
and he wants to play.
Speaker 6 (55:28):
That you were you were working last weekend. We you
know the reason why we killed you got to be
the adult in the room. I'm not saying that we
I agree with you. I know, as a competitor, you
want to play the original, the original injury. They're down thirty,
They're down thirty, you.
Speaker 5 (55:42):
Know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (55:43):
That's how that injury was brutal.
Speaker 6 (55:46):
Yeah, I mean, come on, Bob, that's Booby Miles stuff,
you know, I mean, except they were down thirty not
up thirty.
Speaker 4 (55:55):
Yeah, yeah, you can't.
Speaker 7 (55:56):
You can't put Booby in. God, Jerry looks like he's dying.
Speaker 6 (56:04):
And we also you also missed a uh. Lebron came
in with his Burner account last week. I think I
mentioned he was an egomaniac and some guy was like, egomaniac,
He's the most humble athlete that we've ever seen in
the history of sports. That's what the guy said. We
just drove by, We just drove straight face. You're not
(56:26):
even close.
Speaker 4 (56:27):
Yeah, yeah, a lot of humble what I call humble pie.
Speaker 6 (56:32):
We're thanks for stopping in. Lebron fourth and one.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
Yeah, a little Webster dictionary humble pie, Lebron, Lebron's got
the pie today.
Speaker 6 (56:44):
Get my son signed. He doesn't even belong in the
w n B A. And here.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
I was like some w w A tackle one right there.
Speaker 6 (56:59):
You go, yeah, saying this is a muski for you
have to go.
Speaker 7 (57:04):
You gotta go, And I mean, if you're you got
to pick this up, they're gonna call time out.
Speaker 1 (57:11):
Bill said, division game is always top and we know
Buffalo well, we know Buffle boys with his vikings, win
be huge if they can pull it off.
Speaker 4 (57:18):
There's no way we won't win one game. Let's go. Yeah,
we definitely get one.
Speaker 3 (57:23):
Yeah, I mean, we're fuckings win this game.
Speaker 7 (57:26):
We're winning the.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
Division with as bad as we played throughout the last
three weeks lead enough to today, I never questioned us
winning the division.
Speaker 7 (57:36):
Well, I knew we were gonna win. I had people
at work telling me like, I don't know that we
can beat the Raiders.
Speaker 3 (57:40):
I was like, the Raiders aren't even a football all right,
We're gonna kill the fucking Raiders.
Speaker 1 (57:46):
Just shares more football team. Still, I threw all of it. Well,
you can take out of that. Hey, hey gold Off Eagles,
they're still here. That's what you can take out of it.
They didn't go anywhere. Everybody, calm down, relax, they're still
really good. And he went and didn't play with your
food today.
Speaker 4 (58:02):
Easily people could say, like, what could have be done?
Speaker 1 (58:05):
This was a game. You should be pissed off coming
into right and he should sit me salvating on a
get right.
Speaker 4 (58:11):
And that's what they came and did.
Speaker 1 (58:12):
That tells me why they still are who I think
they are, and why the last three weeks I kept saying,
don't respond. There's a response in them last week they said,
I gave me that. They gave me it a little
bit on Monday, they just couldn't. They just got a response.
But I kept saying, this isn't twenty twenty three, dude,
They're not gonna not win a game the rest of
the year. The defense is too good for that shit.
(58:34):
And everybody's like, oh, the defense is too good for it.
They won't allow it to happen. And today is a
perfect example. So even if the offense stunk today, right,
they give up a goose. They weren't gonna allow us
to lose unless maybe a tie.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
I mean, we could have played like fifteen quarters said,
I don't think the Raiders were quarter points.
Speaker 5 (58:57):
Yeah, their best drive was the one coming down the
half and what's got what the midfield?
Speaker 3 (59:03):
Well, I mean they I guess they could have kicked
the field goal on that one where they went on
fourth and six.
Speaker 7 (59:06):
But your fucking your team's terrible. You should just be
going for it. Yeah, but yeah, they're bad. Peak. I mean,
Pete Carroll, you gotta you gotta fire Peek Carroll.
Speaker 3 (59:15):
Right, Well, you just.
Speaker 8 (59:17):
Wonder why Pete even took the job, Like, what are
you doing? At seventy five taking this job. Bro, maybe
he just wanted to hang out in Vegas.
Speaker 4 (59:25):
You're gonna fire, I mean, just hire like you're gonna fireman.
Speaker 7 (59:28):
I mean he's a thousand years old. They're terrible.
Speaker 4 (59:31):
I mean his hires weren't ideal. No, Chip Kelly.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
Apparently that was Tom Brady. Brady wanted Kelly interesting, that's
what they say. But then, but then Brady was the
one that said he gotta fire him too, So that's weird. Well,
you call Phipadelphia Kip Kip Chippanhelfie and he'll be back
in college somewhere.
Speaker 4 (59:54):
That's going rogue. He was going rogue just calling play
from U C l A. You know what I mean, he's.
Speaker 6 (01:00:01):
Wishbone Ship.
Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
You know, was like, say again, coach, we didn't even
practice this play.
Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
I mean, anybody that thought that they would be competitive
was just illusional to begin with. So I don't know
if Pete thought with Gino like they could be competitive.
He's got a great he's got great he came out,
was he down, he's got you know, he's got this guy.
Speaker 4 (01:00:27):
He's got this guy like maybe you got some pieces.
Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
You got an early pick, right, you know, you can get,
you can an impact player there, so you know, in
the head maybe he could maybe, you know, maybe he
thought that he was coming into something a little bit better.
Speaker 6 (01:00:41):
Imagine taking a job and then you said, I'm taking
Gino with me, Like, yeah, that's what gets me to
eat the sinid pill. Like that's the time when you go, yeah,
it's time. I'm surrounded by the enemy and I gotta
eat the pill.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
You could you could have sold You could have sold
a fan base more on on a Kenny Pickett. You
really could have sold it more on Kenny Pickett. Honestly,
you probably could have sold it more on Kenny Pickett.
Maybe not after today, no, no, but the season, but
the one glall, the one glall right, you know, and
I bet you if he plays another week or two, will.
Speaker 4 (01:01:15):
Play better, you know what I mean than today? You know,
first start of the year is.
Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
Yeah, and you figure, like the safety valve that he
wants to go to his bowers and we cover the
tight ends.
Speaker 7 (01:01:27):
Now that n Kobe's back burning anybody in the league.
Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
Yeah, so uh yeah, it's tough a little tough to
move the ball on us when your your safety blanket's
gonna be covered.
Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
They don't.
Speaker 7 (01:01:36):
They don't really have any receivers. After they traded Myers.
Speaker 3 (01:01:39):
They got that little guy, what's his name, Trey some Tucker.
Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
Yeah, they stink on the outside.
Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
That's why it's like like they were quarterback and seventeen
wives receivers away that are offensive.
Speaker 7 (01:01:51):
Lineman.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Yeah, like the just gotta keep guys out of jail.
But they're like, you know, they're seventeen, so figure A
five go to jail. They're still hanging in there at
least five foss.
Speaker 4 (01:02:01):
So there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
They got seven guys. Maybe they choose from we talked about.
We talked about the Raiders still get seventeen guys who
run a sub for two d the first three nine, Yeah,
I'll dret the first three nine guy got rid of Jerry.
Speaker 6 (01:02:17):
He was such a qut three weeks other than Jared jeh,
it was such a cute three weeks. You got your
little red rocket out and you lost the JJ. You
the JJ.
Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
You usually did play well in homes and like shock.
Speaker 6 (01:02:32):
We're better better losers, and there's such losers that Aubrey's
so delicious. He missed two tonight. Even guy makes him
from seventy five in his sleep he missed too. He
now get infected by the loser loser organization nineteen ninety five.
With all that money, I got a wheel, money coming
(01:02:52):
out of his ears and he can't win.
Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
U can't win since the salary cat embarrassing, stadium, gorgeous, gorgeous.
Speaker 6 (01:03:03):
Everything's bigger in Texas, even the losses, a lot of them.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
That's why they've never been a factor to me. You know,
people people come in and they and all the fans
were cute.
Speaker 6 (01:03:13):
Everybody step down and everybody wants in the pass away.
It's like a dude, if you're you're an Eagle fan,
you're like, Jerry, stay forever, man, Keep taking yeah, keep
taking that, rub that lotion on, buddy, you know, stay forever.
Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
And these bands came in and they all thought we
should be wired of them, and they won a couple
of games, and here we are, we're back the on.
We went for the only win for the Cowboys arguably.
And this and it's the player I really like is
he's maybe in the Mica trade. When you look back
on after an injury like that, you know, you deal
(01:03:49):
with an injury like that, maybe it's some I win
four years in an organization might be the only goddamn
thing they won.
Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
And it's by accident.
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah, it ends up being by accident, and that sucks
for him too if you're an NFC team. A little
bit of a win for all the NFC teams not
having to deal with him, but a huge loss for
the Packers. Team gave up player. Yeah, I mean they
give up, they give up. Listen, they gave up a
kings Ransom rightfully so for arguably the second best defensive
(01:04:18):
player in football.
Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
Because he's not the best. That guy plays on Cleveland,
but his second best. He's stupid. He's stupid good. That's ridiculous.
I mean, he's just and.
Speaker 5 (01:04:30):
There was people wouldn't give up three first rounders for him.
Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
Yeah, yeah, we did it yesterday, Still would have.
Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
But yeah, either way, you know, he's a fantastic defense
Sorry to the genius that the chests piece. I mean,
look at all the tackles he had today. Yeah, well
the tackles where its like in space? Like I mean,
it was an Eagles killer for years that we didn't
tackle well in space. Right, We didn't tackle slack guys
well in space. We didn't takele tight ends in space.
(01:04:58):
We didn't take a running backs well in space. He
came up and made a tackle on g that was
that was one on one tackle.
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
That was just like, oh that's big time.
Speaker 5 (01:05:07):
He got one on powers too.
Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
He's just still good.
Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
He's the best slock owner in football and honestly, it's
not close, and he might be arguably the best tackling
uh defensive back. It's not a safety in football too.
He does it all man just does him and Cuban
awesome this year awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:05:28):
And you don't even hear about to because no one wants.
No one goes to him.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
No, because the numbers like are pretty crazy too. When
you when you see like the breakdown stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
Yeah, I will say a Dory has played better, has
played well. He's played well last few weeks for sure, he's.
Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
Played well five to be honestly, he played that Green
Bay game where where defense Yeah yeah, when our defense
really started taking.
Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
He got healthy, you got some confidence back, get them.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
I'm looking at the two teams you shut down. It's
you know this isn't a fluke going on here. You
know you shut down Green Bay? Who can score? It
said that detroity, you can score two teams are can
score and you get you know that Sky game was ugly,
but you give up twenty four right, the points, right.
Speaker 7 (01:06:08):
Yeah, we're on the fin you're on the field the
whole game, and it ran your throat.
Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
Dallas game is the one game you know you want
to have and that you know you can't go off
twenty four unanswered. Yeah that was bad. More to that
than that.
Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
But we really only got beat like Chicago beat us
the other the other two we could have easily won
the first Giants game beat us too. Well yeah, no,
I mean in the three loss games.
Speaker 8 (01:06:33):
Oh yeah, in that in that streak, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
Well that's that was Yeah. I said that last week
or on Wednesday.
Speaker 5 (01:06:39):
Well, same thing.
Speaker 8 (01:06:40):
I think sweeps you brought up today, Like every one
of these games in over the last week we were
in despite how bad we played, Like to your point,
no one beat us but Chicago, and still even in
that game we.
Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
Were we had a chance to go try and keep
it the game.
Speaker 7 (01:06:58):
I'm gonna get a fumble on the toad.
Speaker 6 (01:07:03):
I don't think it does, Bill. I mean, I think
rest at this time of the year, just like we
said last year, you know, I mean again, it's it
was a special thing, possible special thing for Saquon. I
know people were on both sides of it. Didn't mean
they were you know, bad people for thinking that, you
know what I mean. But I think we said last
year at least the people that were trying to step
(01:07:23):
back and think objectively, that it was a domino piece.
It wasn't just Squon sitting. It had to be the lineman,
you know what I mean, Like, uh, excuse me, if
Saquon plays in the alignment had to play, you know
what I mean. So it was it was more pieces.
There was more There was more pieces that had to
go to that. So that's why we were in agreement
that it had to happen. Sorry about history, that's just
you know, that's just the way it goes. So and
(01:07:46):
so I'm always, I always err to the side of rest,
especially in such a violent sport that football is all right,
And I think coming out of that Bills game, it's
gonna have a playoff atmosphere. I think with a couple
of law is today that the bill should be in.
You know, I was gonna say that they would probably
be fighting, fighting for the lives, but they got to
ten and four today.
Speaker 7 (01:08:07):
So they might be the division.
Speaker 6 (01:08:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, huge win for them today. So
it's gonna be a monster game, you know, in two
weeks in Buffalo. So you're gonna come out of that,
you know, you know, you win or lose. You know,
maybe not wanna say banged up, but you're gonna be bruised,
and you know you're gonna be in a playoff atmosphere,
and you're gonna know that you were in a fight,
you know what I mean. So you would love nothing
better than the rest in week seventeen.
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Yeah, yeah, quarterback you know, last game, Yeah, quarterback took
a quarterback took a shot today Week eighteen.
Speaker 7 (01:08:39):
H yeah, because because you know, yes.
Speaker 4 (01:08:42):
Of course world scores, right, we're all scores. I mean
I made the same mistake earlier. I said, whatever they
play seventeen eighteen, whatever weeks it is now.
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
But the big yeah, the big thing is that rest,
that rest, that final week. Right when you talk about
the offensive line, Okay, the ability you need laying back
you don't want, so you don't have to worry about
playing lane week seventeen, gooodball, Dac, you don't have you
don't have to worry about playing lane week seventeen or eighteen.
Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
I's to say, in the hopes of having to win
to get in right.
Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
Types of scenario, you don't want to have to play
Lane Dickerson in sane situation, Cam Jurgens, even Melatta. It
would be nice is to give all your entire line
just Hey, it's it's a week off. It's a it's
a much needed week off. Everybody jailing, know what I'm saying,
Like everybody like you don't want to play. You don't
be you don't be fighting.
Speaker 4 (01:09:31):
To get in week eighteen anymore. Like those days are
over for teams.
Speaker 6 (01:09:34):
Yeah, and it's a division rival who, like you said,
at the bottom of the pile and might lose Piggy
somebody twist your ankle. It's a division rival, you know
what I mean. You don't need to have any of
your stars playing next if it's not.
Speaker 7 (01:09:49):
Business.
Speaker 6 (01:09:50):
Yes, excuse me, sir. The guy just suck his thumb somewhere.
Speaker 5 (01:09:57):
You just check me rat.
Speaker 4 (01:10:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:10:04):
So I think we're all agreement though.
Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
H Yeah, I mean I'm definitely I'm definitely for arresting
uh in Week eight team for sure.
Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
Yeah, and two or three c it don't matter you're
hosting a playoff game.
Speaker 8 (01:10:15):
The only thing that matters is who you play next, right,
But you're hosting the first round anyway, so it don't matter.
Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
Yeah, agreed, Yep, you Heardson said. Now you're home, and
you don't.
Speaker 3 (01:10:28):
Want you don't want a weird last week when it
doesn't matter. You know, that would be the worst thing
that could happen.
Speaker 5 (01:10:35):
You may want to, you may want to, just depending
on the potential matchups.
Speaker 8 (01:10:39):
But to me, though, this team and I think we're
all in agreement, especially coming into this stadium.
Speaker 5 (01:10:47):
I don't care who you who you're bringing in.
Speaker 8 (01:10:49):
We're gonna we're gonna Winna, We're gonna have that opportunity
to win.
Speaker 4 (01:10:55):
Yeah, Like I again, I mean it's just it's so
it's you're gonna get that home game no matter what.
Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
And like that's why next week is so important, because
you couldn't wrap it all up next week. Yes, And
if guys really need to get off their feet, you
can get them off their feet, man, Like, Like if
Landon really needs you know, a longer breather, then you
can do it. Like you get like the little guys,
Like you're not gonna rest everybody, but you know you
(01:11:22):
can keep Tae Kwan that ten touches right, Just like
little stuff like Buffalo does become a must win, it
just becomes, you know, yeah, nice to have. Like That's
why that's where my head goes because at this point,
it's about these guys.
Speaker 4 (01:11:37):
It's about my most important players in my All pros.
Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
Yea and Land is one of those guys. Cam Jergens
is one of those guys. I need those two guys
to be healthy if I'm gonna be able to run
the football the way I want. I want to be
able to run the football and Lane and Lane Johnson
as well well.
Speaker 8 (01:11:52):
So you know, there was talk of them opening up
the practice window for Lane this week. No, it's just practice,
and obviously it's just practice. But like you sit there
and you go, obviously with the win today Cowboys lost,
maybe you push that back a week. You know, maybe
you starting practice for the Bills week, not to play,
(01:12:13):
but just to start the movement of getting him back.
Speaker 4 (01:12:15):
You know what I mean, went in practicing, I would
not I would not touch him on the field.
Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
I don't think the playoffs, yeah, I want to touch
him on the field until the wildcard round.
Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
Wildcard round. He can play and I'm ready for him
the play.
Speaker 1 (01:12:26):
I want to touch him on the field till that
this rate, he's used to doing that kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
Yeah, I'll be ready to go.
Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
And I take the same approach with Jalen Carter.
Speaker 4 (01:12:36):
Yeah, this rate. The way those guys are playing off
front too.
Speaker 5 (01:12:39):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
You know, I'd rather have a well rested and sometimes
those guys can be, you know, arrested enough to make
some big plays and have some some more juice in
the tank.
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
I'm gonna put this into the Uh. I'm just gonna
put this out there now. But if we play that
Monday night wild Card game, I'm gonna freak the fuck out.
I'm just gonna put it out there now. I've had
enough for the Monday nights. Give us a Saturday or
Sunday game. Do not give us a fucking Monday night game.
Speaker 6 (01:13:04):
The working man is smoking.
Speaker 4 (01:13:05):
I hate it. Guess what.
Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
Both times I've listened the last two times I've listened
to a game at work Black Friday last Monday, not
good outcomes. So no more, no two for you, and
and I listened to the Giants game at work earlier
this year. Most of our losses are all at work.
Speaker 5 (01:13:26):
I don't like it, Jesus.
Speaker 6 (01:13:28):
I think I think the mass work I think. I
think I think Egle fans would say, turn the day
radio off.
Speaker 4 (01:13:34):
No, you know what, you know what we will say.
You know we need you to quit. That's what you're
gonna say. Okay, somethings are bigger than you.
Speaker 7 (01:13:43):
Maybe I just got to tell you if he has
listen when the Eagles are playing, I I can't.
Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
Work, Yeah, I'll I'll make the call for you can't
be working.
Speaker 7 (01:13:53):
It's hurted my mental health.
Speaker 6 (01:13:57):
Little ear you got to get the little ear piece like.
Speaker 5 (01:14:02):
Yeah, who's the skipper?
Speaker 4 (01:14:16):
And Dallas with a loss?
Speaker 7 (01:14:19):
Honestly, I I.
Speaker 3 (01:14:22):
Working on a big brain idea. But McCarthy's played well
the last two weeks, so I doubt it will work now.
But I was saying, I can see Kyler Murray starting
quarterback for the Vikings next year.
Speaker 4 (01:14:32):
I could.
Speaker 3 (01:14:32):
I could envision it now. I doubt it though, because
that's probably gonna stick with McCarthy since he's played well
the last couple of weeks. But a couple of weeks ago,
I was like, Kyler will be there next year, will
play well.
Speaker 5 (01:14:43):
Yeah, a couple of weeks he was a couple of
weeks ago, he was buns.
Speaker 7 (01:14:46):
Was terrible that game against Seattle.
Speaker 3 (01:14:48):
He was.
Speaker 5 (01:14:50):
You've seen you've seen the ghost that Sammy Darnoldson.
Speaker 4 (01:14:53):
I mean, you gotta give it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
And again, he wasn't a Polis quarterback coming in in
my opinion, any gouty, any guy.
Speaker 4 (01:14:58):
Hurt, so he needs time.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
If you're being organization that takes him, you're gonna have
to go through the ups and downs the constituency early
on in his career.
Speaker 7 (01:15:08):
What's going on with Justin Jefferson though he should he
should have.
Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
Told you though Jefferson, Well, he dropped the touchdown. The Knight.
Speaker 6 (01:15:16):
Said he got one guy called back ap penalty. Then
he dropped the blatant one.
Speaker 5 (01:15:20):
Yeah by a parlay. He's freaking the funk out, I mean,
right through his hands.
Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Greg.
Speaker 5 (01:15:26):
Yeah, literally, I didn't. I was watching home alone. I
wasn't watching this game.
Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
Wait what.
Speaker 7 (01:15:36):
Response? I don't see anything else I was watching.
Speaker 6 (01:15:39):
Watch I was gonna give him credit, not Craig Jefferson,
just because it's been a rough, rough two months and
you know we're not We're not in that yet. That's
where I was going. We're not in that market. But
you don't hear higher, higher, a whole hell water from
that guy, you know what I mean. He don't think
(01:16:00):
they he don't say two words. He's a class act,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
And just saying you know, yes, he doesn't. He said
he rather he would rather win than than the numbers.
He's made that clear throughout the year.
Speaker 6 (01:16:13):
So they don't win. So he still doesn't say that,
but I hear you no.
Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
And this is why some guys wanted them on draft nights.
Something we can go roll tape on that one. That's
one hundred catch at SEC guy. He'll be fine. They'll
get their chemistry. It's hard not playing with a guy
when you make it change a quarterback like that. Sometimes
the chemistry works right away, other times it doesn't. They've
sort of had a carouse ol a little bit, obviously
(01:16:38):
a quarterback this year.
Speaker 4 (01:16:40):
I don't care who you are. That makes it for
that makes you sort in for a tough year.
Speaker 6 (01:16:44):
Sometimes in full circle to the beginning of the show,
he is trying to force it to him, you know
what I mean, Like he saw like you know, uh,
he was just thrown. You know, he was just throwing.
A couple was like three or four times where he
was just praying, oping that he's you know, Superman will
come out and find a way to catch it. It
wasn't it wasn't open, but nothing was there.
Speaker 4 (01:17:09):
Well, he's got plenty of prime with he's not going
away anything soon. Bill, what's up?
Speaker 3 (01:17:16):
I'm not worried about I mean, I'm not sure his
his prime is being wasted away. It's one year and
he's had monster numbers.
Speaker 4 (01:17:23):
The last year one went away.
Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
Correct, Yes, let's go mystics, let's go Jesse, what's up baby,
Go birds, snow birds.
Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
We're back playing the right way. We're back playing our way.
Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
Continue this momentum, Continue this momentum.
Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
Pound the football, little pound the football style sho we are.
Speaker 7 (01:17:47):
Another another another small Saquon scare again today.
Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
I was like, man, is he going? Is he okay?
Speaker 7 (01:17:52):
Actually I was more worried about that.
Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
Jalen kind of got rolled up on on that one
little run to the apple yeah, and I was like, oh,
that didn't look great.
Speaker 5 (01:18:00):
He was kind of decisive on going whether he wanted
to go down or not. And then he went down
yeah yeah, And then he got rolled up. Yeah it
was good.
Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
And then he threw a laser, so yeah for him,
a laser in the cold weather, which was good ball.
Speaker 4 (01:18:16):
It was zip for him.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
You know, I mean he's been I felt like, I
feel like one thing I can say is, you know,
he's that he hasn't had the best year or best month.
He's had a good year. Yeah, yeah, but I feel
like his ball the last couple of weeks always felt
like he's had a little bit.
Speaker 6 (01:18:33):
More on it for him.
Speaker 5 (01:18:35):
So yeah, I would agree with that.
Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
He didn't have to do much today, but he had
some nice throws. The deep ball to Levante was a
really nice throw.
Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
I just meant like that, like the one he threw
the Davante and the Chargers game where he threw him open,
like yeah that much that ball was zip. That ball
was like okay, well okay, you can throw that ball,
like you know what I mean. Like again, I don't
see it all the time, but there's time is where
you see like okay, you know it's gotten better, like
(01:19:04):
the arm strength got a little bit better, but there's
still work to be thought.
Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
That's not who he is.
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
This is again, I'm not going back on throwing at
twenty five times. You know, that's that's who he is.
But I've seen it better with some of the at
times and today if he did it better with the checkdown, yeah,
seventeen at ten, I'm just getting the ball out of
his hands. The guy's opening, like Troy was saying, get
(01:19:30):
it to him. But the biggest thing he wants to
do is win fucking football games. Like he's made that
clear on draft night. What do we talk about. He's
a winner, he's a leader. There are the things you
can never take away from him. Throughout this whole month.
I said, you can't take away those two things. Those
two things they're never going to change. He wants to win.
So I guarantee you they're gonna go back to him
running the football. Hey where were we today running the football?
(01:19:52):
They went back to it. Guys like they want to win.
He wants to win.
Speaker 4 (01:19:56):
He's not stupid and he's not stupid.
Speaker 8 (01:20:00):
And now that we're later in the year, you can
do that now, right you know, you know you don't
want to have him take unnecessary hits in in September
and October. But now that we're in money time into December,
rolling into the playoffs, now, yeah, Jaleen, you gotta you
gotta make up for stuff. You gotta make the defense
and react to you again once again. You haven't You've
done in the past, so now it's time to to
(01:20:22):
to put it on and do it again.
Speaker 4 (01:20:24):
Well, when you do it in the r p O,
it just opens up things for Sake one. Yeah, I
was you knowing for the r p O for a month.
Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
Now I'm glad they like rolled it out even more
today because guys run wide opening Dallas was running wide
opening it.
Speaker 4 (01:20:40):
Some better runs out of it.
Speaker 1 (01:20:41):
I mean, he's better out of the eye's I'm sorry,
he's better, is better under center?
Speaker 4 (01:20:47):
Yeah, our offense is better out of the r p O.
Speaker 1 (01:20:50):
It's weird. We have some weird things going on right. Offensively,
we're built better out of the shotgun, but Sake one's
built better out of the out of jail under center.
But our r PO is good as a team, and
I think that opens things up for Saquon two. But
Lanes back to but yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (01:21:09):
Think the thing about stat they showed before the game
today was crazy. Since Lane's been out twenty four carries
to the right side, he's been hit behind the line
of scrimmage on all twenty four that's great, that's crazy
that idea.
Speaker 1 (01:21:22):
I thought we would do it so we could do
the same job Johnson did. So like run run walking
the four of us, Fred Johnson.
Speaker 6 (01:21:32):
I mean Tank, somebody's kneecaps, dude.
Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
Yeah, well, speaking about take somebody's kneecaps, Tank, I brought
up that today the cats. He goes, what's his name?
He goes, it's Takuan heard. I said, yeah, he goes,
what's his name? I said, thank, he goes, Wait what
I said, And I said, his name is Tank and
he goes and he goes like the like the tank,
you know. And I said, yeah, he thank this What
the fuck? And I said, yeah, yeah, I know. But
(01:21:57):
he runs it well and yeah, the big run. So
I could agree more about getting Tank, getting tanks for
carries here and y'all that all year because he has a.
Speaker 4 (01:22:06):
Little bit more of a burst.
Speaker 1 (01:22:08):
Yeah, it's not shot at say Kwan not saying he
lost a million steps and saying nobody in the history
of the NFL has rush two K and won a
Super Bowl and is going through that wear and tear.
We don't have that history, but we had the two
K history, and that's not ideal. The two K history
is an ideal bouncebacks. Yeah, yeah, so we don't have
(01:22:29):
this one. My guess is now we do, they're not good.
He's still gonna get a thousand yards before Week eighteen,
So in the normal season he would still get a
thousand yards, which is pretty easy.
Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
But he wasn't gonna have fifteen hundred or two k
and that. But they have to understand that organization.
Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
I know it's hard to do. I know it's hard
to say that your most explosive player that you think
you're must exposed. The player might have lost a little
bit this year, and how do we keep him as
fresh as we can for the postseason?
Speaker 4 (01:23:00):
So he had a little bit more zip. No, they
didn't want to do that. They didn't want to listen
to me.
Speaker 1 (01:23:04):
I consider on a fucking couch and tell you that
as some of the explosive plays, even today, I think
he would have made more guys miss and had even
bigger plays on some of the eight nine yard runs
of the ad. Again, maybe I'm seeing things I don't
think I am. I'm really I really don't think I am.
Speaker 4 (01:23:22):
On some of it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
Not as much miss as last year, not as much
miss again expected so Tank has.
Speaker 6 (01:23:34):
A little bit more.
Speaker 8 (01:23:35):
Yeah, last year was such a was such an anomaly
of a year, as we're finding out again right as
we're finding out last year it was such an anomaly
of a year that everything just went our way because
those holes and those visions that he saw last year,
he's not seeing this year. And it's not like you said,
it's not a shot. That's not saying he's not good anymore,
(01:23:57):
but even just not seeing them.
Speaker 1 (01:23:59):
But even your watching, your eyes, watching both guys carry
the football, who looks who looks A hit a hole,
a little quicker? Right now, you know it's Tank again.
Let's carries lets sample size for sure. So we're not
saying who's better. It's not the argument will never be
(01:24:19):
the argument. Will Shipley look faster? Okay, so this isn't
the argument, a j You need this, sa Kwon Barkley.
You ask people in New York. You can ask people here. Okay,
people here won't won't know it, yet maybe they can
start to. He is not great, constantly inside the tackles
all the time, all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:24:39):
He's not. It's not Greg he was, you know what
I mean. He's explosive. It's not a shot somebody.
Speaker 6 (01:24:45):
It's happened before in the history of the NFL, you
know what I mean, Like you know, fire and ice, thunder,
you know, thunder and lightning, stuff like that. You know
what I mean. You see it in motel, you know
what I mean. It drives me nuts as a Gibs owner,
but also as a as a fan of the game,
because he's so electric. You know, we'll have a game
like today where he does nothing, which it's, you know,
a head scratcher. I can't I can't believe it, you know,
(01:25:09):
and he ever does that, and he doesn't do anything.
They they're there, they don't waiver down there, you know
what I mean. And and again I'm not saying they're
counting their Super Bowls. I'm just saying it's it happened
in the history. You can do it. You can keep
you know, two guys happy and and understand your role
and and and stay healthy. And then when in the
and you can keep the other guy. It doesn't matter
(01:25:30):
whose turn it is. You can keep the guy your guy.
You know, obviously seconds your sequon's your guy. And when
it's in the crust of the game or in an
important drive, you keep them in in that spot, right,
But there's no reason to to not, you know, get
the other guy some opportunities especially, that's why you trade
it for you.
Speaker 1 (01:25:50):
Yeah, and it's got to be it's got to be
past blocking the main that keeps guys off the field.
Speaker 6 (01:25:55):
So it's yeah, I mean, you're gonna get somebody killed,
you know, if you missed Simon or you miss the block,
you need somebody murdered. So I agree with you. They
don't want that's my argument.
Speaker 4 (01:26:10):
I can't.
Speaker 6 (01:26:13):
You know who the sam is you know, you know,
you know what I mean. And that's that's real ship, bro.
Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
I don't know what tank notes or I don't know
what the tape shows, right, So I like again I'm
making I'm making assumptions off of who's got a better burst,
IF's in there on third downs more and in these
situations because of the past blocking or different situations. I
get it, I get it right. I can't argue that
(01:26:37):
because he's a great pass blocker, he just is. Even
when he might struggle with other things. That thing does
not leave his game whatsoever, as we've noticed this year.
Because I thought our past block has been really good
as a unit and with.
Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
Him, but that's my only gas.
Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
But Tank's been out there a lot on third down,
so maybe it's just something they're trying to grow him into.
When you get a guy over here late like they did, right,
I mean, but again, we always saw running backs. You
could do that stuff late, right, guys. But maybe it's
just a situation where I don't know. They they in't
(01:27:16):
house so good that they didn't think the switch is
gonna turn on. I know what they think, you know,
I mean, I'm not I'm not stupid or naive. Didn't
know what they think. And when it comes to this
very true Jesse, Oh yeah, yeah, Gamewell got a lot
(01:27:38):
more time on the field than Tank as game. What
was a good third down guy too, really good third
down guy. I remember last year people yelling that game
what was on the field too much? There were some
of that if you remember back. He does hit holes
just full speed. He doesn't dance. I think that's a
Saquon's been doing a little bit too much of. Yeah,
(01:28:01):
I think that's what equals three point nine yards to
carry this year, which should be more around like four
to two, which would be just that much better of
a team, because that's how.
Speaker 4 (01:28:10):
Important it is I think some dancing is when you're
not getting that big play.
Speaker 6 (01:28:15):
Yeah, because the whole pre the hole's not there, so
you're trying to immediately bounce it. So we understand that.
And he's used to that from his days in the
meadow lands, all right, So when he got here it was,
you know, he was a little bit spoiled, right still
take away from the talent and the elite back that
he is. Uh, there was just you know, there was
Mac truck holes last year, so you still got to
(01:28:35):
hit him. You still gotta and you still got to
get to the second level even though albeit untouched, and
you still gotta have you know, a breakaway speed you know,
to turn that. In the sixty we see a lot
of guys get caught and run down. So you know,
there's you know, there's there's not a shot at him.
It's just you know, he's you know, this year is
it's a little bit of his his medal land days,
(01:28:56):
you know what I mean when you know, offensive line,
you know, banged up and and the hole's not you
know there, and he's trying to make make something out
of it, you know, And and that's where the dancing
and the happy feet come from you know.
Speaker 4 (01:29:09):
I mean, yeah, no question about it. It comes from stick.
Speaker 6 (01:29:14):
Might trust it, might open up, hit it.
Speaker 1 (01:29:16):
Yeah, absolutely, Like week one, he probably didn't dance as
much as he did Week five, Right, And that just
continues to trickle when you're not getting that that play
when he went Now, it's like, hey, less is more
sometimes right now you have to get back the lessons more.
I think I've seen a little bit more of that
from him. I'm getting back the lessons more, taking what's
(01:29:37):
there over the last I'll say two weeks. I'm just
putting his head down because sometimes you gotta put your
head down, dude, and fall forward for two yards and
just and just eat it. Okay, two three yard game.
It's a positive game. It's a positive game. This offense
is good when it's in positive games. If you're staying,
if you're if he's getting three yards, three yards and
you're giving me a third and four with this offense,
(01:29:58):
I'm feeling good that we're gonna convert, right with the
weapons that we have at our disposal on a running
quarterback at times, right, I feel good about that.
Speaker 6 (01:30:06):
Right, And if you're at the eighty percent of the
toach plush clip. You know what I mean. It could
be full four down territory. Yeah, you know, fourth and
you know.
Speaker 1 (01:30:14):
One, yes, so third and three you know it's still
running down per se third and four you can go
run it still. So you open yourself up when you're
in those plays. But when you're bouncing and you're trying
to do too much, you get yourself caught. You lose
two yards on first down. You get where I'm going
with it. Second twelve, Now, second and twelve. I'm not
(01:30:34):
saying any offense ideally plays well behind the sticks. This
one is not built to play well behind the sticks.
We've seen that right where other offenses can overcome it.
Some quarterbacks just what their zippity dude does, can overcome
it on one throw.
Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
This is just not who we are. So again that's
why penalties have killed us. Yeah, back to the Bowl.
Speaker 6 (01:30:56):
They Yeah, they don't have a lot of comeback come
from behind winds, you know, to your point, you know,
I mean that's they're not built like. That doesn't mean
they you know, they're they can't do it. You know,
we've seen obviously, you know, games where they've come back
and and win. You know, obviously the rams coming to mind,
but and having to throw that much. But you know
they're they're not built you know, to your point to play,
(01:31:19):
but they're not built to play behind the sticks and
or come from behind there. You know, they play well
as front runners. And that doesn't that's not a shot
and that's not that's not a negative, right, that's a
good thing. It means you got to lead, means you know,
control the line of scrimmage. He means you're playing good defense,
all right, and you're in you're you're you're playing from
ahead a lot, which means you're a good team. I mean,
(01:31:40):
you're playing you know, care to share it was?
Speaker 3 (01:31:47):
I mean it's not sports related, but it said Rob
Reiner and his wife were found dead.
Speaker 8 (01:31:52):
Oh ship, yeah, I saw it or I saw that
that alert early, but they weren't sure who it was.
Just two people are found in the in the house.
But I guess I guess it's coming out that it
is then.
Speaker 1 (01:32:05):
Yeah, crazy, Jesse says Nick Foles podcast. He said when
he ran the RPO, he felt like you get three
yards running the ball. He's handing it off. You mean
like if if Nick capt it, you're saying Jesse, Yeah, yeah,
so yeah, I mean Jalen could get three too. Then
(01:32:28):
that's the big part of the game where you know
they're starting to do it more, starting to show it more.
They've having more success out of it, and I think
you're just going to keep growing, growing from it and
get more comfortable with it. But like I said, the
Eagles back in twenty seventeen had a ton of success
with it, and it wasn't a running quarterback.
Speaker 4 (01:32:48):
But sometimes when you have to like a big white out.
Speaker 1 (01:32:51):
Like you know Jeffrey and yeah, the other fast guy
and Nelson, Right, you could do those types of You
could run that type of offense to fit your skill
level in a way and just to make defenses freeze
a little bit, make them make decisions. Right. I think
when you when you make defense at the at the side,
(01:33:12):
which guy are we gonna try to take out of
this one?
Speaker 4 (01:33:15):
Well, guess what.
Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
You have a smart enough quarterback that can then nose
and has ran it throughout his career.
Speaker 6 (01:33:20):
He's got to run enough.
Speaker 4 (01:33:21):
Yeah, Oh keep it Dallas wide open. Oh keep it,
I'm gonna run it. You have things to do out
of the r p O run pass option.
Speaker 1 (01:33:29):
It's not run option, right, we're not running like we're
not running our college just run option. This is the
ability to throw out of it too. When you have
that ability to throw out of it, they My point
is they've ran it more, which I like. It doesn't
need to be your whole offense. It shouldn't be your
whole offense, right, but it needs to be a part
of your of your offense, especially when you're struggling. You
(01:33:50):
need to go to it immediately, just like being up tempo.
Like up tempo gets you out of things, the rpo
gets you out of things. There are two things you
add them in. They can get some money wide open
like we talked about today it did, and and.
Speaker 4 (01:34:04):
Different things like that. But it should never be your
whole offense.
Speaker 1 (01:34:06):
Because they're real good at under center, which opens up
big play actions. Gause, that's how good they're running the
ball out of center under center. So there's more things
in this offense than just that.
Speaker 8 (01:34:16):
But yeah, and it's funny too because this week and
last week they were more under center than they were against.
Speaker 5 (01:34:24):
Dallas and whoever.
Speaker 8 (01:34:26):
The other loss was Chicago, right, it was almost like
they're against Chicago and Dallas. They went away from under
center after they had success before to buy with it
or in I'm sorry in dream Bag in Detroit, and
then you come back and against the Chargers, and then
today they went even more. They weren't like that whole
first drive almost was almost exclusively under center. Uh, and
(01:34:50):
it was a lot of positive, positive yards. So yeah,
I mean it's about mixing it up, keeping it fresh,
but also being successful out out of it as well.
Speaker 6 (01:35:00):
Yeah, and just set so many things up. I mean,
it's you know again, you know, we understand that the
game has changed, and you know, everybody wants to act
like they reinvented the wheel, you know what I mean.
But as long as the game has been played, you know,
it's it started under center, you know what I mean.
Shotgun is something that you know that evolved and it's
(01:35:21):
great to have a right, but you shouldn't live in it,
you know what I mean. Like being under center just
creates so much more options, you know, like you know,
the play action, you know, the changing of the plays
when you can go tap your guys, you know, I mean,
I know you can change plays in the shotgun too,
don't get me wrong, but you know, the days of
walking down the line and tapping a guy you might
see something, just just create a lot of different books.
Speaker 5 (01:35:45):
They're more downhill when they get the ball.
Speaker 7 (01:35:47):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, standing there.
Speaker 8 (01:35:53):
We we've we streamed about it for a year, like
why are we handing the ball to the guy next
to us when he's not moving? But then when you're
under center, he's going downfield, he's going downhill. You could
see his his his hole before you know, might even
be there. And and yeah, it's super effective and it's
helped I think kind of, you know, revitalize himself and
(01:36:13):
kind of get over that humped.
Speaker 4 (01:36:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:36:17):
And that's why I like the the r p O
in that format because it's up to your quarterback to
open that whole up for the running back to decide
if he's given it to him depending on the d
end right, So that that again helps. I just don't
like the shotgun straight hand off right, Like that's where
I'm like, what do we doing? Shotgun straight handoff? That
(01:36:38):
doesn't make sense period, That would never be successful. So
that's the one thing I was just a race out
of my playbook altogether. Doesn't mean you can never go
in the shotgun, just don't give the handoff out of
the shotgun unless it's third and fifty eight and you're
just giving up on a plane. Hey we'll punt this one. Yeah, right,
then I get it.
Speaker 7 (01:36:56):
That's a tough one.
Speaker 6 (01:37:01):
Just or create some emotion and then you get it.
Get it yet sweep going or something, you know what
I mean, Like, you can do plenty of things from
the shotgun that doesn't have to be satuesque.
Speaker 1 (01:37:13):
I thought we had a lot of emotion in my opinion, sure,
And in that point of the motion conversation that we've
had throughout the year, there was a lot. The vanta
I felt like was, you know, it did a whole
track track session in this game. Early on.
Speaker 4 (01:37:28):
He was in motion every play. So I do like,
I do like that. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:37:39):
Somebody said earlier about shifting gears a little bit the
uh the inbound the Day in the uh in the
Sixers the end of that game that was imbounded in
the Hawk's end and as he caught it and ran
(01:37:59):
back back step step over the line, here's the thing.
Speaker 4 (01:38:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean you can you can't catch it.
Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
You can't catch that. So just the way that the
Sixers ends up losing to Day not fun. But yeah,
Maxie is so sick, you know, hopefully get him back.
I think we have another long, long little break this
week too. We do not play again No Friday. I
(01:38:33):
think like we don't play against No Friday. I don't
know why.
Speaker 4 (01:38:38):
Could because of the NBA Cup going on.
Speaker 3 (01:38:42):
Yeah, the finals this week sometime, right, yeah, it might
be tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:38:48):
Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday, Yeah, I was right, Friday, Friday and
the next yeah, so another yeah, back to back then
you go Saturday, Saturday.
Speaker 4 (01:39:01):
Come on, dude, Saturday seven o'clock, Mavericks. That's it.
Speaker 1 (01:39:04):
That's that's the central time slot. That should be an
eight o'clock game, not going up against the the the Birds.
Speaker 4 (01:39:11):
Yeah, prefer that.
Speaker 6 (01:39:13):
So yeah, uh Spurs Knicks in the finals.
Speaker 4 (01:39:16):
Yeah, a little road.
Speaker 7 (01:39:17):
Yeah, I saw that we're getting Spurs.
Speaker 4 (01:39:20):
Wenby came back and was, yes, yes, oh that's good.
We'll get the Knicks.
Speaker 1 (01:39:25):
We'll get the Knicks after the little finals run there,
which is which is nice, I guess, and then we'll
definitely have Tyree's back by that and so pretty overall
healthy team now for the most part, just trying to
get get Kelly back. It's like that last guy and Watford.
Anybody likes Watford's game, which I like his game a
(01:39:47):
little bit. But there the would be the two guys missing.
Speaker 7 (01:39:52):
Yeah, they do nothing for me, can't.
Speaker 3 (01:39:55):
I can't even get into it the saturdays talking.
Speaker 4 (01:39:58):
The Sixers up, Maxie. Nobody's asking you to.
Speaker 7 (01:40:04):
I know, I just I'm just it's just tough right now.
I can't get into him.
Speaker 1 (01:40:08):
We're in we're you know, we're in Eagles mode right now.
But you know, when we're an hour forty in, we
like to just wrap it up with them.
Speaker 4 (01:40:17):
No, I have a quick little combo.
Speaker 7 (01:40:19):
No, no, we can have a combo.
Speaker 4 (01:40:22):
I just can't get I wasn't asking for permission. I
mean I wasn't.
Speaker 7 (01:40:27):
I wasn't into the Sixers right now. That's all.
Speaker 1 (01:40:29):
Well, we've always been, well, we've always been after Christmas, guys,
we've always talked about that. So you're saying that he's
after Christmas, you're still not going to be No, no, no.
Speaker 7 (01:40:37):
What what's what's the We'll say once the Super Bowl happens,
I'll be into the Sixers.
Speaker 4 (01:40:44):
So you're deeper.
Speaker 6 (01:40:45):
Yeah, right around you know, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Wilson
is in.
Speaker 5 (01:40:54):
Then it's that it's Phillies and he's out. Anyway, I think.
Speaker 1 (01:40:57):
You're just missing something so big, Wills, I think you're
I think you're missing VJ. VJ is so much fun
to watch, and I just think you're missing them.
Speaker 7 (01:41:06):
I need I need a West coast trip so I
can actually watch the games.
Speaker 4 (01:41:09):
It's over Christmas or that week after Christmas, of course,
I mean that's the week.
Speaker 1 (01:41:14):
That's the week VJO his worst week is a sixer
and you're gonna be coming back.
Speaker 4 (01:41:18):
But that has no idea what he's talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:41:22):
I mean, I've seen, I know what VJ brings to
the table. Exciting, exciting player.
Speaker 1 (01:41:26):
Well, I think it's a three point His three point
ability that wasn't shown in college is the big thing
that I've really liked. That he's developed so quick, so
fast here at the NBA level, which I wasn't.
Speaker 4 (01:41:40):
I don't think anybody was really expected.
Speaker 5 (01:41:43):
It's it's not a West Coast it's just a road trip.
It's the Disney on Ice road trip.
Speaker 3 (01:41:47):
They're at Chicago, at OPC, at Memphis, at Dallas, at
New York, so not necessarily West coast, but they are
on a road trip right after Christmas. Yeah, I need
a couple of ten ten pm.
Speaker 4 (01:42:00):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:42:02):
That's not that's not there yet.
Speaker 3 (01:42:04):
Okay, he's got to be a thirty at least, I
would think, right.
Speaker 5 (01:42:07):
Okay, See it's a three thirds of Saturday Sunday game.
Speaker 8 (01:42:10):
It's three thirty okay, all right, there's eight and eight
thirty Memphis in Dallas. The Dallas is New Year's Day.
Speaker 3 (01:42:23):
Well, news Day's news Day's doable, even though I'll probably
watching college football, but news Day's doable, doable.
Speaker 1 (01:42:29):
We're again just making we're just checking in on you whenever,
just seeing what day you're gonna be watching.
Speaker 4 (01:42:35):
Well, you know some way that we're at the point
where we're checking in.
Speaker 1 (01:42:40):
Hey, well we'll checking what's he get to dabble? Yeah,
make sure you come in the group and just let
us know, like, hey guys, I will.
Speaker 5 (01:42:47):
I will.
Speaker 3 (01:42:49):
We're dabbling that I gusking about how it beats this
fucking lazy piece of ship.
Speaker 6 (01:42:53):
Get these roads clear, would you please? It's eighteen with
uh and I.
Speaker 3 (01:42:58):
Mean Paul George is back though, right like I saw
that he's obviously been playing.
Speaker 1 (01:43:02):
Yeah, he played well to night. That's he played well.
Last night he played I saw I saw you had
like thirty nine. Yeah, and he played good to night
for the most part. But PG had a big night tonight,
which was good.
Speaker 4 (01:43:14):
He missed. He took a stupid three to like win it.
They got BJ got a monster rebound and.
Speaker 1 (01:43:21):
Then Grimes took like a panic three where it's my
only gripe with Grimes, I like do panic shots like sometimes,
and he panicked three D instead of the guy's closing
out hard. Dude, that's a pump a put her on
the floor, reseat back and he panicked it and came
up short on it. And that was before the inbound.
(01:43:42):
Obviously the inbound heard around the world and in December loss.
But yeah, but PG took like a really like.
Speaker 4 (01:43:52):
Like why are you thinking that shot, like sort of
sort of fading away from three from the corner, like.
Speaker 7 (01:43:57):
That's that's end game, Paul George, that's how that works.
Speaker 4 (01:44:00):
Yeah. I need that race for that one. By need
that race on the court.
Speaker 1 (01:44:05):
But I mean, yeah, but again, the only two things
keep me going and keep me saying that Tyrese, Max
and DJ.
Speaker 7 (01:44:12):
I mean, we are they what are they saying? And
they're sending the fourth seed right now?
Speaker 5 (01:44:17):
I think, I mean they are there.
Speaker 7 (01:44:18):
There's someone right around there.
Speaker 8 (01:44:23):
They're a seven seed Okay I was wrong, but a
game and a half behind the four seed.
Speaker 4 (01:44:27):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (01:44:28):
Yeah, so they're like they're right there.
Speaker 8 (01:44:29):
Yeah yeah, Torono, uh, Boston's three at five back Orlandos
and Toronto are four, five at five and a half
in the and the six ers or six so they're
I mean, the heck, they're a game out of the
third place, a half game out of second or fourth
and fifth.
Speaker 7 (01:44:45):
There's one Nick.
Speaker 5 (01:44:50):
Twenty five.
Speaker 7 (01:44:51):
Yeah, he's been bawing.
Speaker 5 (01:44:53):
That's not even good when you have Oklahoma City twenty
four and two.
Speaker 4 (01:44:57):
Yeah, kid, Yeah, they're they're pretty good. Yeah, they're decent. Okay,
so he's not bad.
Speaker 3 (01:45:03):
Yeah, I think they they're gonna have a high pick again,
right yeah, yeah, they have clippers.
Speaker 5 (01:45:12):
Think right, they have clippers, and I think it's unprotected.
Speaker 4 (01:45:15):
It is unprotected.
Speaker 6 (01:45:16):
One fucking put a condom on you, fucking sick fos.
Speaker 3 (01:45:24):
They might even trade it because they're like, who if
they get a rookie, where's he even gonna play.
Speaker 4 (01:45:32):
For him?
Speaker 6 (01:45:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:45:33):
Yeah yeah, it's a good rookie class too, coming in
got some pretty decent impacts, especially freshmen. If they come out.
Speaker 1 (01:45:43):
One good thing about the Sixers this year, six in
the Wagan rebounding first in the Wigan blocks.
Speaker 4 (01:45:50):
So some of the hustle, well, some of the hustles stoff,
you know.
Speaker 10 (01:45:55):
I think Andre being healthy, Yeah, has really helped obviously
in the rebound in the department for sure, but just
something like, you know, rebounds of hustle on one two.
Speaker 4 (01:46:06):
So it's nice, it's nice being up there in that category.
I got something we've struggled with in the years past, as.
Speaker 6 (01:46:13):
We know for sure, killed him.
Speaker 4 (01:46:19):
Yeah, VJ.
Speaker 3 (01:46:23):
He should have watched the whole video yesterday shooting the
dude that took the gun from but he let him
walk away, and he walked back to where the other
guy was shooting from and picked up a rifle, starts
shooting again.
Speaker 7 (01:46:37):
He just human a leg.
Speaker 4 (01:46:39):
Yeah, yeah, shoot him, you got.
Speaker 5 (01:46:42):
Him. Yeah, I mean it's a great move.
Speaker 4 (01:46:47):
It's a ball.
Speaker 5 (01:46:50):
But then I mean.
Speaker 6 (01:46:53):
Tremendous blind side sack, strip sack and he didn't kill
the guy.
Speaker 4 (01:46:58):
At least human a leg.
Speaker 7 (01:47:03):
But yeah, yeah, that was crazy. I mean that I
don't want to get into it, but like you know,
everyone's take away the guns.
Speaker 3 (01:47:12):
Yeah, and then it takes and then it takes the
police a year and a half to fucking stop dudes
from shooting. That was way too long. Those dudes were
just standing in the open shooting for way too long,
way too long.
Speaker 6 (01:47:28):
Yeah, Australia, no guns, no guns, Oh God Jesus Christ,
rubber mounts, that's what they use in Australia. That's that's unbelievable.
Holy ship. All right, Yeah, let's let's uh, let's get
past that.
Speaker 1 (01:47:43):
Yeah, we're not gonna we're not gonna talk about where
those people were from either firing the shots.
Speaker 5 (01:47:48):
Yeah, just skip over that.
Speaker 4 (01:47:50):
I won't no, nor Middle East. I mean, you just
take it from wherever you want to take it from
where they're problem. Yeah, nothing to see here, an ideal.
Speaker 1 (01:48:04):
So they're not just attacking this country, they're attacking other
ones too, And they've been attacking the UK for a
while now, Big tom So.
Speaker 4 (01:48:12):
Yeah. Now they're just took over New York City. So
it's time. Yeah, I'm yours wild times.
Speaker 6 (01:48:21):
Time they're making a park a lot, get your will
from somebody else, making a parking lot, making a parking
lot one time twenty years in the Middle East.
Speaker 4 (01:48:34):
Yeah, I don't know why that has been to be
honest with you.
Speaker 6 (01:48:39):
Push the button parking lot and they never stopped.
Speaker 3 (01:48:41):
And everyone's so worried about the cause they're never gonna
stop fighting. They're always gonna hate each other, They're always
going to be fighting. They're never gonna stop.
Speaker 1 (01:48:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:48:52):
Hm, well crumbing a week, haven't I got anything? I
got one?
Speaker 3 (01:48:58):
This is uh, I just the something's gonna happen with
the college. The refereeing in college basketball is brutal. And
I'm mainly because Syah just got screwed yesterday. Obviously you
can't be in a tough you can't be in that
close of a game against Hofstra, but oh my god,
just brutally brutal foul at the end of the game
(01:49:19):
not called, and then we had to We could have
challenged it if we had a challenge, but we used
a challenge before because the guys that threw the ball
away on how the bounds, and then.
Speaker 7 (01:49:28):
They came back and said that that we touched it.
Speaker 3 (01:49:29):
Well, clearly, you can see the ball doesn't change, you
know what I mean, Like if someone touches the ball,
it changes the spin of the ball. You know what
I'm saying, Greg, You can clearly see the ball doesn't change,
so obviously no one touched.
Speaker 4 (01:49:41):
It as I just I was.
Speaker 7 (01:49:43):
I was livid last night because I can.
Speaker 3 (01:49:45):
Already see it.
Speaker 7 (01:49:46):
Now we're gonna miss the tournament by like one game.
Speaker 3 (01:49:48):
It's gonna be this fucking loss that keeps us out
of the tournament, and I'm gonna fucking lose my mind. Hofstra, Wow, Hofstra.
The Pride couldn't miss a fucking open shot. That's that's
how it goes for them. The fucking Hofs are Pride,
couldn't believe it. Speedy Claxon. Speedy Claxton is their coach.
Speaker 7 (01:50:07):
Yes, it's all right, he is old speed.
Speaker 5 (01:50:10):
Yeah, good old speedy former sixer.
Speaker 3 (01:50:14):
But yeah, uh I the referring is brutal, Like, if
you have the opportunity, like the last minute, you should
want to get the calls right, so we shouldn't have
to challenge for you to go check that. It's a
blatant foul, slap across the wrist.
Speaker 4 (01:50:29):
What are we doing?
Speaker 7 (01:50:30):
Put him on the line.
Speaker 3 (01:50:33):
Wait now, grand we can't make foul shots, so he
might not.
Speaker 5 (01:50:36):
Amazing, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 7 (01:50:39):
Put him on the fucking line. Drive me crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:50:44):
Yeah, I love college basketball and I'm happy it's back.
Speaker 8 (01:50:47):
It's definitely wild the way that they're doing the the
the review system, you don't get like you get one
range you can again, and just like everything else, you
can only use it for certain things. Yeah, I can't
use it for all things. And they just constantly, just
is constantly get them wrong. And then I would see
(01:51:11):
the coaches don't know how to use them yet.
Speaker 3 (01:51:13):
Yeah, true, and I agree, I mean it not in
general refereeing is it just horrible. It's terrible in the NBA,
it's terrible in the NFL, it's terrible in college basketball.
It's terrible everywhere. The parkingsting thing today was crazy. Dude's
two yards far the end touchdown, then review of touchdown.
Speaker 5 (01:51:33):
But we watch it, Yeah, and I don't. I watched
I saw a video.
Speaker 8 (01:51:39):
I don't know how recent it was, but like I
watched the video of like somebody from the Warriors or
or Bucks or somebody took three dribbles to go to
link to the court and then like as he's picking up,
he's like one two three four five down. One thing
three four five down. It's just like what are we doing?
Like what do we This can't be.
Speaker 5 (01:52:00):
It can't be enjoyable to watch.
Speaker 7 (01:52:04):
Yeah, it's just you would think with the advancements that
the refs would be getting better.
Speaker 4 (01:52:10):
They're not.
Speaker 5 (01:52:12):
Like I like, I look even though it's not always perfect,
but like I like the review.
Speaker 8 (01:52:17):
Uh review assists that the NFL does, like on that
no DeVante call right like Nick didn't have to challenge
that replay assists was like no, no, no, we got
that wrong. Like I like that aspect of it, But
why can't that be used when you know there's a
blatant foul that you missed, like Britton Covey gets his
head ripped off right in front of a referee on
(01:52:39):
a punt the other day against the Chargers, but that
doesn't get called. That gets missed somehow they quit can't
replace this be like.
Speaker 5 (01:52:45):
Uh, you gotta throw flag, throw flag, throw flag. Yeah,
it's wild that you just you can pick and choose
what you can and can't use things.
Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
For well, I think, guys, I think, Yeah, technology grow,
you'll get more AI generated replay assists and faster.
Speaker 4 (01:53:08):
On a lot more where you might even see games
not even called as much.
Speaker 1 (01:53:14):
Some body guy just on the field, you know, and
that's fine to ten years that guy on the field
just might be on the field.
Speaker 3 (01:53:20):
I mean, I mean, I'm as much as I don't
really like AI because I think it's gonna kill us
at some point, but yeah it was. I mean, if
we're going to get the calls right, get them right, like,
get all of them right.
Speaker 1 (01:53:35):
Sports wise, technology wise, I'm all for it, right, You're
all for things that make the game. I just just like,
I like the human aspect, but I also like, you know,
like we're talking about face masks, different things that should
be picked up or guys in let's.
Speaker 4 (01:53:49):
Let's make that quicker.
Speaker 1 (01:53:50):
Yeah, right too, like and especially in basketball, like we're
talking about basketball is the worst.
Speaker 4 (01:53:55):
Yeah, it's the worst, Like in.
Speaker 1 (01:53:57):
Today's technology, like that shouldn't even be a conversation last
minute of a game today that that's New York right there.
I mean, you've got to play that that can dictate
a win or loss of a game.
Speaker 3 (01:54:08):
Yeah, how's that knocking? How's that knock?
Speaker 4 (01:54:11):
I know it's eighty two games. I know it's eighty
two games.
Speaker 1 (01:54:14):
Goes into microp that's got to be called, right, that's
gotta be coach, you're trying to keep jobs.
Speaker 3 (01:54:20):
Why is there not a beef down to the guy like, yo,
there's no that was a backcourt, Like why why is
there not?
Speaker 4 (01:54:25):
Hey, take a look at this one real quick. Hey,
he needs to take a look at this one. That's all.
Speaker 1 (01:54:29):
It's all it needs to be done. These games are
long enough. They take long enough in the fourth quarter
as it is.
Speaker 3 (01:54:33):
And I don't even care about the challenges, like you
can just do it, like, okay, the last two minutes
of every game, or the last four minutes of every game.
If there's a close call, we're just gonna go to
the you know, we're just gonna go to sicucas. However,
We're gonna go there and let them decide the correct
call that's supposed to be made here.
Speaker 5 (01:54:50):
Why not?
Speaker 7 (01:54:53):
Everyone knows the NBA doesn't start till there's eight mansult
in the game anyway.
Speaker 4 (01:54:57):
That's where that's where it is.
Speaker 3 (01:54:59):
So but yeah, I just if you're gonna get the
calls right, get them right, get them all right, don't
you can't pick and choose? Well, well, I didn't have
a challenge left, so can't tell get that one.
Speaker 7 (01:55:10):
What what are you talking about? Do you want to
get them right?
Speaker 5 (01:55:13):
Yeah? Yeah, I don't have a challenge, So I can't
we can't even look at it.
Speaker 7 (01:55:16):
Yeah, like come on, it's wild stupid.
Speaker 6 (01:55:23):
Yep, yeah for me, it's uh yeah, probably a couple
of people. But that we'll start off with. Can't Newton
just shut up and go way and shut up?
Speaker 1 (01:55:31):
Man?
Speaker 6 (01:55:31):
But you're on TV, that's fine, Like you're offended that
they designed Philip Rivers cam. You you had, you weren't
good your last five years his career, so you expect
to find the ring, Like what do you care what
they do?
Speaker 4 (01:55:46):
Right?
Speaker 6 (01:55:47):
Slapping your face? I mean, get out of here. Right,
that's the last hole that they you know, colds were
going to make was to you. Right, there's some relationship
there with Stychen, and that's it, right. You know the
guy on knows whatever his age, the guy was ever
able guy when he when when he was twenty years old, right,
so he took care of the football, exactly care the football.
(01:56:08):
Then then let's pick his you know, there's five seconds left,
you just trying to you know, they're you know, the
defense he did win the game. Their job, they wouldn't
have game, right, they couldn't get a stop on defense,
all right, So that's regardless, that's exactly why you know,
they brought him in they don't need and he said,
I'm not here to be a hero or throw the
(01:56:28):
ball over the all over the yard or stretch the field.
You know the you got, yeah, they got. And he's
not an ego guy like yourself can so nobody's interested
in calling you for jobs. Right, so you can feel
you know, it was a slap in the face.
Speaker 4 (01:56:48):
Just knock it off.
Speaker 6 (01:56:49):
Just again, there's something to talk about, and so you
can get clicks and and everybody can get on your
on your side, you know what I mean. And that
goes for the that goes for Jameel Hill and and
Ryan Clark to knock you off, all right. I mean
you know everybody gets you know, like you know uh
shore more. You know, you know he might have got
(01:57:10):
a second chance had he not going with a home
in Asian and at enough point that's you might you
might get another job, all right, except for when you
go to the looney ben, you don't get another job, right,
So stop stop telling us about all these other which
you think got You got opportunities, right o, dook, you
got another opportunity to right. You know he's a person
(01:57:31):
of color with them too, Like I'm saying, you know,
I'm sure there's absolutely absolutely uh times when when it's happening,
you know, don't get me wrong, right, But for them,
it's that's what it's all about. That's and that's that's
theirs thing, that's their niche for you know, they have
(01:57:53):
a voice for social media or or on TV and
use it for right, and they want to continue to
call it all right when when it's not there in
these situations, right, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:58:07):
More was my big crumb in the week, and the
guy took me.
Speaker 6 (01:58:10):
Everybody took like like doubled or sour. So it wasn't
just about you know, you know, being a scumbag and
having an affair, you know what I mean, Like, you know,
you you put somebody in a position that didn't deserve
it and got you know, took money out of the
athletic apartment and gave it to somebody that wasn't qualified.
(01:58:30):
So how about that for orders?
Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
Yeah, well yeah, start starts with that, you know, having
an affair with your wife and throw your life away basically, yeah,
pretty much shrown your life away. But like we said that,
the final crumb piece is not being able to handle
what you just did. Losing your job, probably losing your
(01:58:58):
relationship with your wife at that point and saying, okay,
well all right, I'm gonna land on my feet. Let
me calm down, Let me calm down, let me let
me just control myself, regather my thoughts. You think you're
big enough, you think you're big enough to go kicking
somebody's door or whatever you may have done. Mhm yeah.
(01:59:19):
And then and then the last, the last piece of
it too is like, bro, if you're gonna, if you're
gonna think about doing that stuff period.
Speaker 4 (01:59:28):
The biggest, the biggest part of it all is you
guys are fucking dumb, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:59:33):
I mean these guys who these guys who you know
who eat where you know, eat where they ship, right,
whatever you want to call it. Like these guys that
are that are in their you know, dating women inside
their their workplace, are you just that stupid to begin with? Like,
first off, not a guy that is ever gonna cheat
(01:59:54):
on his wife, right, but that's not the place you start, guys,
Just to like help you out from afar, Like hey,
just looking from afar in like probably not ideal when
you gotta when you got a job, that's eyes on you,
all right, and that's somebody who's working inside an organization.
Speaker 4 (02:00:12):
Probably not the best idea. And where you want to
where you want to start sticking your meat at, that's all, and.
Speaker 6 (02:00:18):
Go into a concert on the jumblo trunk, you know
what I mean. So there a certain lists.
Speaker 4 (02:00:26):
Like these guys are just idiot. Yeah, it alone would have.
Speaker 1 (02:00:36):
He would have ended up It's still a Division one
school within two years anyway, right, this guy would have
still made plenty of money.
Speaker 4 (02:00:42):
It would never been a money thing for him because
he would want somewhere as a defense an offensive coordinator
at worst, worse because he's worst.
Speaker 6 (02:00:51):
He's ship get the job anyway.
Speaker 4 (02:00:53):
You know.
Speaker 6 (02:00:55):
Jimmy left and then you know, they they.
Speaker 4 (02:00:57):
Hard with him, and you know, yeah, it's just crazy
and she's you.
Speaker 6 (02:01:06):
Know, a couple more years, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (02:01:08):
You can make the cases like the women what you did,
like I know, like chefters, like oh you know, I
feel like people were out to get him the whole time. There. Okay,
that's a marin of comment and people have to get you.
That's even more of a reason that he shouldn't be
banging your assistant.
Speaker 4 (02:01:24):
Okay, two one, Yeah, there's a lot of things.
Speaker 1 (02:01:28):
So if you if you feel like she's out to
get you or people who out to get you, there,
maybe you don't get in bed with somebody who may
be out to get you, right, And this was that
a person wasn't out to get you until there started
to be rumblings and instead of you moving her to
a different department, right, which would have been a smart
thing to do, he decided he's gonna fire. So hey bud,
(02:01:52):
Hey bud, she's got receipts on your whole life. So
what do you think was going to happen after that?
She had her whole life and receipts, So maybe just
move her, figure out what to pay her what she
was getting paid, and call to day.
Speaker 4 (02:02:08):
But no, you decide, you decide to fire.
Speaker 7 (02:02:11):
I have like a woman's scorn.
Speaker 4 (02:02:13):
No, man, you fire, and you get a plan bait.
Speaker 1 (02:02:17):
So that is a lady that is not happy at
that moment, so pro ideally probably smart for you.
Speaker 4 (02:02:27):
You know, just that, And we're gonna transfer you. We'll
give you one hundred cat, don't worry about it.
Speaker 1 (02:02:32):
Oh fine, no problem, all right. Now she's got leverage
for the whole time. That's something a bitch is that
so you know, but again, this guy's a fucking moron,
So I don't go too deep with him. I've said
he's he's got enough time. And the guy still will
probably land on his feet in five years because everybody
lands in ship in today's world. You know, everybody will
(02:02:53):
fucking land in a pile of fucking horseman nor because
it just happens.
Speaker 4 (02:02:57):
It's it's amazing. I'm going all happen him, I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (02:03:01):
So Jamie Hill and Ryan Clark can be happy in
three years when this piece of shit, you're gonna deserve
a job. Ever, we'll get one somehow, because you know,
we'll go get mental health and go for all that.
And you know he's he's really he's a reborn again Christian.
I'm sure it's stuck. He's stick in the fucking passer's asshole.
(02:03:21):
And well, you know, well I'm just gonna keep it real.
That's how that's will work. Well, you can roll the
tape back to December fifteenth, twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (02:03:30):
Remember I remember what was set?
Speaker 6 (02:03:32):
Remember what was that?
Speaker 4 (02:03:33):
Maybe not the pastor, but.
Speaker 1 (02:03:36):
Remember everything everything outside of fucking the pastor.
Speaker 4 (02:03:40):
For him, because he was thicking's dicking anything that you know,
he'll get an our chance somewhere, not at this level,
not like a Michigan level, but somewhere.
Speaker 6 (02:03:51):
We'll circle back around every corner. It just gets weird. Yeah,
really you should. He just absolutely pulled the Homer Simpson
and just disappeared in the bushes, right, because now the
more you carried on or it's just everything just keeps
coming out, you know what I mean. Like he was trying,
he was trying to pay for foursomes with those only
fan girls champions.
Speaker 4 (02:04:13):
Yeah, yeah, not even that, Like what are you doing?
D M and from your own account?
Speaker 1 (02:04:18):
Like that's like, that's where you've got a guy on
your payroll if you're a creep, if you're have.
Speaker 7 (02:04:23):
You ever heard Chris Carter call a guy?
Speaker 4 (02:04:26):
Man? That's what I got.
Speaker 1 (02:04:27):
Hey, well, hey, well I hit up Wells and he goes,
what's up? I said, Yo, I got like four, I
got like I got eight to ten.
Speaker 4 (02:04:33):
Girls in ig. I need to giving me a favor,
you know, I need you to inbox them for me. Okay,
I got you?
Speaker 6 (02:04:39):
All right?
Speaker 4 (02:04:40):
Yeah, what's there? What's there? What's there? What's their handles?
Speaker 1 (02:04:42):
Here?
Speaker 4 (02:04:42):
You go.
Speaker 7 (02:04:44):
Little cash?
Speaker 1 (02:04:45):
Yeah, I mean you're gonna gonna run wild, dude, if
you're gonna if you're gonna take a little money and run,
and they like to say, right, and you're gonna rip
and run here, well, at least at least still with
like something that can sustain some time here right before
you get acts, you know, a year and a half
in the in the playing ball. But the only fan model,
(02:05:08):
I don't even I can't even believe, you know what
I mean, Like I feel like it's everybody's like, hey,
if it happens, like yep, try touching me too, you
know what I mean, Like, hey, hey, I love the
whole We're gonna come out now. I can't trust, can't
trust an only fans model, you know, I mean, or
to trust.
Speaker 7 (02:05:25):
I love how they call him only we who only
fans model.
Speaker 6 (02:05:31):
I'm not yeah exactly, I'm not trying to put it.
Speaker 7 (02:05:33):
There's no such thing as an.
Speaker 6 (02:05:36):
I'm saying he probably has receipts, you know, he.
Speaker 7 (02:05:38):
Likes Yeah, I assume he does.
Speaker 1 (02:05:41):
Today's world, I can't trust receipts in AI world either,
That's true. In the AI world, I can't trust the
receipts being put out there either, just like some of
the content you see on social media that AI is
being like people were using AI for and they're getting
fake content. You see it all the time and like
fake articles. So just be careful, that's all. That's my
(02:06:03):
only thing. So with those types of things like, yeah,
he probably did it, So I'm not defending this guy ever.
I just hard for me to defend the only fan smut.
So we don't have to call it a model.
Speaker 4 (02:06:15):
We can call it only fans smut, only fans for
only fan smuts.
Speaker 7 (02:06:22):
Yeah, horns just walking around with millions dollars is depressing.
Speaker 4 (02:06:28):
Brundle bro.
Speaker 1 (02:06:30):
You're a grumble away. You're a grumble away. You never
know there's somebody out there for everybody like that.
Speaker 6 (02:06:40):
Oh goodness, it was like an only.
Speaker 4 (02:06:43):
Feet You can go on your only feet, just show
your toes.
Speaker 6 (02:06:46):
Your blue Oh jeeus gonna pay text, give me more
than that?
Speaker 4 (02:06:59):
When I came wrong? Is that the spread of the cheeks?
There's twenty five bucks.
Speaker 6 (02:07:12):
Ship.
Speaker 3 (02:07:13):
What does he say in Tadegan Knights, like I did
a full spread man, spread my cheeks my content? You
probably because I went under the name of my content.
Speaker 4 (02:07:31):
So good, that's a great movie.
Speaker 6 (02:07:36):
Yeah, I feel like we've cot ins and but holes in.
Speaker 1 (02:07:42):
The I think where after midnights that HD aswer dark Yeah,
my fault of the passer who took took up.
Speaker 6 (02:07:54):
Darkly. I mean, nine times out of ten, you're right.
Speaker 4 (02:07:57):
Yeah, if.
Speaker 7 (02:08:01):
In the whole words of te O, if it looks
like a duck and quacks like.
Speaker 4 (02:08:05):
A duck, we know what that is. We've been around,
you're gonna have a crumb or.
Speaker 5 (02:08:18):
We were even going back to last week, so no,
we're good.
Speaker 4 (02:08:21):
I was just okay, just killing it, Yeah, shutting her down.
Speaker 5 (02:08:26):
There's nothing to top any of that. There's nothing coming
back from it.
Speaker 3 (02:08:31):
I will say, uh, since I wasn't on last week, Like,
it's mind blowing to me. How like Indiana I want
to turn around. I mean, Indiana as a football powerhouse
is crazy. It's gotta be the greatest hire of all time,
greatest college hire of all time, right has to be,
(02:08:52):
probably has to be. Yeah, just shout out Indiana crazy.
I think they're gonna lose to Texas Tech. You heard
her here first, but Indiana the flowers before they're out.
Speaker 4 (02:09:02):
Well, like what you're doing. I like what you're doing.
Speaker 6 (02:09:05):
Yeah, tell me to get over and get a quarter
on Tech.
Speaker 3 (02:09:11):
We get a quarter taking Rodriguez kids.
Speaker 4 (02:09:14):
Fucking awesome.
Speaker 5 (02:09:14):
He's pretty good.
Speaker 7 (02:09:15):
He's awesome.
Speaker 4 (02:09:17):
I love Texas Tech is awesome.
Speaker 3 (02:09:20):
Yeah, the only the onlyst one game all year at
Arizona State and our quarterback didn't play, So I mean
pretty good.
Speaker 7 (02:09:26):
Watch out. They're tough, man, they're tough.
Speaker 3 (02:09:29):
I think that Indiana TECHT Tech game is going to
be a battle and Georgia, Ohist.
Speaker 7 (02:09:33):
Is going to be a battle.
Speaker 4 (02:09:34):
That game is that Indiana, No, it will be.
Speaker 7 (02:09:37):
It'll it will be a mutual game that's a neutral
field game.
Speaker 4 (02:09:43):
It will be. If it's it would be.
Speaker 3 (02:09:48):
They would also have to win the game first, and
then it would be that game after that. Yeah, but
it's the first one. Should be a good game, Like
you know what I'm saying. They're both on the one
side play before they get the Indiana Indiana.
Speaker 6 (02:10:02):
You're gonna play Oklahoma or Alabama?
Speaker 7 (02:10:04):
Okay, yeah, yeah, there it is.
Speaker 4 (02:10:05):
And then and then I think.
Speaker 6 (02:10:08):
Waiting for the five they're waiting for the five twelve game,
which the twelve is Oregon.
Speaker 4 (02:10:12):
Yeah, and uh James Madison, Yeah, it's an Oregon win.
Speaker 7 (02:10:18):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 3 (02:10:19):
The game, the game, the front game, should be a
battle though.
Speaker 7 (02:10:22):
Oklahoma.
Speaker 6 (02:10:25):
Yeah, I didn't want to laugh at you, but that
you know, that was that was I think.
Speaker 4 (02:10:31):
The guys who put him in. Yeah, that's it. That's it.
Speaker 7 (02:10:38):
Really, it's the a c C.
Speaker 3 (02:10:39):
Has They got to change their playoffs, like the rules.
If that was Virginia versus Miami, then it's fine. Whoever
would have won, we would have got in. You know,
the fact that Duke was in the a c C
Championship made everything fucking weird.
Speaker 6 (02:10:53):
Yeah, that's why I just don't like lost.
Speaker 1 (02:10:59):
Right.
Speaker 6 (02:11:02):
JMU and Tulane should be the crumbs. And I say
that not because they belong, because we already knew that.
We already knew that it was gonna you know, like
in the criteria. It's in the criteria.
Speaker 3 (02:11:14):
Well guess what, you know what I mean, though, I'm
okay with them getting in because if you don't, if
you say, okay, the non power conference teams can't get in,
then you remove literally half of the college teams can't
go to the playoffs. So you gotta make it so
that one of them gets in. It's just somehow it's
been weird. Both years so far, it's been weird. There's
(02:11:35):
been a weird shit happened where like last year boys,
he gets top four, and then this year it's weird
where two of them get in because the ACC is
so bad and Duke wins it with five losses.
Speaker 7 (02:11:46):
So very strange. I think you know they're gonna do
They're gonna.
Speaker 3 (02:11:50):
Don't revamp this and they'll make it like, oh, they
have to be top twenty to qualify or some ship.
Speaker 8 (02:11:54):
They're gonna do something and then but you could you
could do that at the same time, you could do
a Power six or a group of five whatever they
call themselves, like a second tier playoff for all those teams.
Speaker 5 (02:12:07):
I don't like that idea because then you're but then
you let the top twelve.
Speaker 4 (02:12:11):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 5 (02:12:13):
You're there, right you guys.
Speaker 6 (02:12:14):
Yeah, That's why I'm no for what.
Speaker 7 (02:12:18):
You guys aren't good enough to beat the good teams.
Speaker 6 (02:12:20):
No, I think that is weeks ago. I said, I
just think you gotta go more. I mean, you know,
I know you can get what are down, but like
every other division doesn't trying.
Speaker 11 (02:12:33):
To save both seasons, you know, I mean I pushed
for sixteen weeks put one verse sixteen you know what
I mean? One verse sixteen two verse fifteen doing nice
and simple.
Speaker 1 (02:12:48):
Listen to the first seventeen and called a day. Won't
get to buy I mean, or you know, doing sixteen,
it doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (02:12:55):
The weeks.
Speaker 3 (02:12:57):
If you do sixteen, you would have to change the weeks.
You can still doing it in the same amount of weeks.
Speaker 7 (02:13:01):
That you're doing it now.
Speaker 1 (02:13:02):
They're shit s fucked up anyway, so you can change
the weeks. Big win by Nova.
Speaker 5 (02:13:08):
Nova A big win.
Speaker 4 (02:13:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:13:09):
Upsetton State. They're in the semis semis Yeah yeah, upset
Tartleton State and.
Speaker 7 (02:13:14):
They always call it the State's always in it, right,
they're always.
Speaker 5 (02:13:17):
Like a big I think they're a top seed. No, ba,
I think it's like a four seed.
Speaker 6 (02:13:24):
That was my biggest thing you got. We know that
there's only handful of teams that can win it all,
but the other divisions have giving you a blueprint that
it can be done. And it's to me, it's just
you should have something to shoot for, you know, I mean,
you know, making the playoffs or whether you belong or not,
is a cool thing.
Speaker 4 (02:13:41):
Man.
Speaker 6 (02:13:41):
It makes the regular season matter, and you know it's
just I don't know, I think, yeah, well, it's something
to happen. You know if you know, because then people,
like I said, you get people on both sides and
would say like, well, it's what are down? And you
know why don't you just give out participation? No, how
about you make the fucking NBA only top four in
(02:14:03):
each side.
Speaker 4 (02:14:04):
Make it.
Speaker 6 (02:14:05):
You see, then you're gonna you know what that's gonna do.
Takes away fucking load management, takes away all your fucking
guys resting guys. All right, go ahead there, all that.
Speaker 7 (02:14:15):
Twelve twelve do that.
Speaker 6 (02:14:17):
Then don't make you know what I mean that's to
me watering things down is the NBA making a fucking
nine ten ninety ten playing game that's fucking Garbago beats
you know what I mean, You have no time for that,
But I.
Speaker 7 (02:14:27):
Mean the NBA.
Speaker 3 (02:14:30):
Yeah, the fact that people are trying to hype up
this fucking in season torments the dumbest fucking thing I've
ever heard in my life. And the games are unwatchable
because the courts are crazy looking.
Speaker 6 (02:14:39):
What are we doing?
Speaker 4 (02:14:46):
No, couldn't agree more. It's all laid out for him.
It's not participation in trophies because.
Speaker 1 (02:14:51):
If you can get in and he's in the RELs
can make runs right, and you get some lightning in
the bottle here and.
Speaker 4 (02:14:56):
There, it can change the program forever.
Speaker 1 (02:15:00):
And and that's even for the power forwards that are
good enough, that really aren't the blue buds, but can
get in and and and change in Indiana and you
can change your cultures.
Speaker 6 (02:15:15):
Yeah, I just want to add to that. I agree
with you, and I want to say that I don't
know what the percentage is, but maybe half of the
Indiana's team is from JMU.
Speaker 4 (02:15:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (02:15:24):
So then you talk about you're talking about talking about
coaching and culture and fixing things, and you know what
I mean.
Speaker 4 (02:15:31):
So you're.
Speaker 1 (02:15:33):
Crazy if you're in the constantly going on in the
playoffs as one of those outside power for schools and
you're constantly in there and you're constantly in the dance,
the jam you you're in, you're in and the dance.
Guess what, they become a power team. Then that's what
happens over time. So then then the chance of jam
you actually winning one, goes up over time.
Speaker 4 (02:15:55):
It's like anything else.
Speaker 1 (02:15:57):
If you're coached again, if you are, it's a Kenzaggon,
It's a Knzaggon effect. That march manness It's a Knzagga
effect of march mannesszag I thinka nzagger in there, year in,
you're out, year in, you're at, you're in, you're out,
and then you can win one. Then you can change
your culture forever. Your zaggon never wins, but in your
(02:16:20):
recruiting forever, you know what I mean. But even now,
like you're just in there, you're sweet sixteen.
Speaker 3 (02:16:25):
Your leaders, it bothers man that they just constantly have
these guys that say four years, Fuck, where do these
guys come from?
Speaker 4 (02:16:31):
Grand Like, we're able to develop a culture, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 5 (02:16:35):
And you get paid. Now, why would these guys leave?
They're not going to the NBA. So take the money
in college and live your life.
Speaker 4 (02:16:42):
Some of them are, But yeah, I hear you, absolutely,
but you're making but you're gonna make more.
Speaker 5 (02:16:48):
You're gonna make more in college than you are in
your rookie deal.
Speaker 7 (02:16:50):
For most of these guys, I totally agree.
Speaker 4 (02:16:52):
Yeah, you're making a ton of money to stay in school.
Speaker 6 (02:16:54):
So yeah, And speaking of non an aisles, we said
it yesterday like there there's might not be a better
game all year than Army Navy.
Speaker 5 (02:17:03):
It's awesome, hard nose just.
Speaker 6 (02:17:10):
No names on the back. Let's go, man. It's it's awesome,
absolutely awesome.
Speaker 3 (02:17:15):
Always a good game too, always close, both teams, hard nose.
We're gonna run a thousand times stop us. Yeah, that's
why they're always talking. I guess what. The academies always
have winning records, you know why, because they're gonna run
into four or five teams who they're not gonna want
to tackle them, and we're just gonna run it down
your fucking throat.
Speaker 4 (02:17:36):
Yeah, and then they'll lose.
Speaker 7 (02:17:38):
The Notre Dame.
Speaker 8 (02:17:41):
Notre Dame will puff their chest over they're not in.
Speaker 3 (02:17:48):
I love the name I I The the committee does
constantly like they hurt themselves with everything they say, though,
because they're like, well, we don't penalize for losing in
the championship game, Like you know, everyone's like, oh, well
you made it to the conference championship game, so we
don't penalize.
Speaker 7 (02:18:05):
So the Alabama gets crushed. They don't really drop at all.
Speaker 3 (02:18:08):
But but you did penalize BYU who went into the
championship game with one loss and then they.
Speaker 7 (02:18:14):
Got eliminated by losing it.
Speaker 3 (02:18:15):
So you kind of you know, you're damn if you
do damn they they constantly they want, they have an
agenda of teams they wanted. Let's be honest, they they wanted.
They moved Alabama up the week before, knowing that they're
probably going to lose in the SEC championship game. But
we got them up so high now they're not going
to drop out. No, I selfishly I wanted Vanderbilt in.
Speaker 6 (02:18:39):
That's yeah, that's what I say. Even though you know
the even though the barback, even though I'd like to
be quarterback, they don't belong in.
Speaker 3 (02:18:49):
So probably no, I agree, I agree to that b
YU on the eye test probably doesn't belong in. But
you're clearly to penalize for losing in the championship game,
which you said that you're not doing, because that was
your justification of why Bama gets in with three losses.
I'll were not on PENI them for losing the championship game. Well,
(02:19:10):
then by you only has one loss them besides.
Speaker 6 (02:19:12):
That, Well, who are they going to get in over?
Speaker 7 (02:19:14):
I hear you though, Well, I'm just saying that they
in over Miami.
Speaker 6 (02:19:19):
Okay, I'm I'm fine with that.
Speaker 3 (02:19:22):
But I mean, I'm I agree that the eye test
has Miami and not Dame or Barret teams in b YU.
If you ask me who's gonna win that game, I
would say Miami Note Dame. But if you look at
their resumes, b as a better resume, it better wins.
Speaker 7 (02:19:36):
That's loss.
Speaker 3 (02:19:39):
Yes, it's a popularity contest. They're gonna move to sixteen
teams plus.
Speaker 5 (02:19:44):
Notre Dame gets in next year anyway, even their top twelve.
Speaker 4 (02:19:47):
Yeah, Pussis I freaking hate him.
Speaker 7 (02:19:52):
I just thought they're crying so much. It's like, dude,
you you lost to Miami on the field.
Speaker 4 (02:19:56):
Yeah, what did you think is gonna happen?
Speaker 7 (02:19:58):
You think they're gonna be like, well, then you beat
you beat nobody.
Speaker 4 (02:20:01):
Nobody beat nobody, nobody.
Speaker 6 (02:20:09):
Yeah, you talk, you talk about talking about Miami doesn't
have any good wins either, right.
Speaker 4 (02:20:20):
No, but you yeah, right, who'll beat Bama the first week?
Speaker 3 (02:20:28):
Bad team FARDA state that's farda state that's knocked Batman out.
Speaker 5 (02:20:34):
Well, and that's what you say.
Speaker 8 (02:20:37):
You know, we're not going to penalize you for losing
in the championship game, but when that loss gives you
three losses, then kind of all states.
Speaker 5 (02:20:44):
Could have been off the board.
Speaker 8 (02:20:46):
Exactly exactly well, and then it's gonna come down to
one of these teams just gonna forfeit and not play
the game like the championship game if it's gonna hurt them,
you know what I mean, or like the top team
like Alabama, know when they're in not Alabama.
Speaker 5 (02:20:59):
But like or you're like, I'm not playing well, one
thing to do.
Speaker 3 (02:21:03):
A lot of them want to win it though, well sure, no, yeah,
part it's a.
Speaker 1 (02:21:07):
Part of your like going into the year, what are
your goals? Right, I'm gonna start within an that SEC title,
a Big ten title, sure right before and then that
will get you absolutely and I will give me a
ticket to the playoffs, right and then and then it's
goals after that. But I will say it's gonna go
to sixteen, and then we're still gonna have complaints.
Speaker 3 (02:21:25):
Yeah, that's always gonna be teams complaining. It doesn't matter
where you go to. You go to fucking twenty four
to twenty five teams complaint.
Speaker 4 (02:21:31):
And then we got sixty two in basketball, you know
sixty four?
Speaker 3 (02:21:35):
Yeah, and when you're not and you know sixty uh,
well you can say sixty eight, sixty nine, seventy and
seventy one, complaint every year.
Speaker 4 (02:21:42):
So yeah, every year.
Speaker 6 (02:21:45):
They know what it is, they have to do something
because Craig was right, you know what I mean, Like
because then now guys are just going to schedule different
Like Texas doesn't need to go to play.
Speaker 3 (02:21:54):
Yeah, there's no reason to go early games.
Speaker 6 (02:21:57):
In week zero, you don't have to play. They went
to the Horseshoe and play. They didn't have to do it.
Speaker 4 (02:22:01):
I agree.
Speaker 7 (02:22:02):
I agree with you there that that like you're giving.
Speaker 3 (02:22:06):
You're making it so teams can be like, Okay, well
we're not going to schedule a really tough out the
conference game.
Speaker 4 (02:22:11):
Then yeah, yeah, we're gonna go.
Speaker 8 (02:22:14):
As much as we want to watch the Notre Dame
play Miami, we're not getting it now.
Speaker 1 (02:22:18):
No, we're gonna go pay two and a half million
dollars ago whoop somebody's ass.
Speaker 8 (02:22:21):
Alabama has already did it. They canceled or they pushed,
They pushed their series and again they would wax them anyway.
But with UCS, they already it was supposed to start
like I think in twenty six. Now it's gonna start
like in the thirties because it's a there's no point
in playing it.
Speaker 5 (02:22:39):
I'll just scheduled. Sam Houston state sisters that are blind
and just go beat up on them.
Speaker 4 (02:22:45):
There's two and a half million to whoop your ass.
Speaker 6 (02:22:47):
Yep, we didn't be a consolation price. Tom No, right now, get.
Speaker 1 (02:22:59):
Yeah, Sam Houston, lind me up. If I'm the freaking
a d I'm just I'm gonna go up White Center.
Speaker 8 (02:23:05):
I mean the world of n I l if you
better help Northern Illinois, We'll come into come in the
Notre Dame Stadium and whoop your ants again.
Speaker 6 (02:23:14):
Fucking Uncle Rico. I will lace him up, boy, I
will him.
Speaker 4 (02:23:22):
I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (02:23:23):
Well, we can start. Listen, you want to give us
two and a half mil. We'll start a college team,
be like uh that movie where they just started college.
Speaker 5 (02:23:30):
No, well, it will be about uh we'll be like
Bishop Sycamore, but only for college.
Speaker 7 (02:23:35):
Yeah, I agree, give us two and a half mil.
We'll go out there and play.
Speaker 4 (02:23:39):
Well, I don't know if we're gonna go out there
and play, but I mean we'll compete.
Speaker 5 (02:23:43):
Accepted with the movie that you were looking for. Yes,
great movie, great movie.
Speaker 7 (02:23:48):
Ask me about my wien.
Speaker 3 (02:23:55):
Oh there's a phenomenal screen by Jonah Hill in that
movie when they first going there and like skeleton falls, Greg, Yeah, yeah,
I didn't realize I could admit.
Speaker 5 (02:24:06):
That we was so hot in that. Yeah, I mean
she's so hot in general.
Speaker 4 (02:24:11):
But twelve forty we created a college. So great shop man,
break killed a man? Yeah, twelve forty a night. Yeah,
great ship. Boys.
Speaker 1 (02:24:26):
We'll see everybody next Sunday after another another dub, Well
Saturday dub hopefully so great ship.
Speaker 4 (02:24:33):
You guys got anything.
Speaker 7 (02:24:34):
After after clenching the division, Yeah, it would be nice.
Speaker 4 (02:24:38):
It would be nice. Anything on the way out we
haven't said already.
Speaker 6 (02:24:43):
Creezing cold again you, Greg?
Speaker 3 (02:24:46):
Yeah, boys, special warm up midweek, but cold hold on
tomorrow by we're up tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (02:24:53):
I'll say that.
Speaker 6 (02:24:54):
To be careful, boys, Yeah, it's tough.
Speaker 4 (02:24:57):
Be careful. Yeah, I got I got a funeral tomorrow.
It's gonna suck. Yeah, alright, boys, alright, boys matter. Pat
