Sin embargo, tras realizarse la prueba de Covid-19 resultó positivo por coronavirus. El presidente se habría reunido con Tatiana Clouthier, quien fue diagnosticada con la enfermedad, pero al no presentar síntomas no se realizó la prueba. Las medidas a tomar es vacunarse y usar el cubrebocas, además de seguir los protolocos y no salir a menos que sea necesario.
