fear, but we rest in God. I want to tell you something.

powerful than you think. Understand youridentity and walk in it. Today this
is the Affirmation Radio station and it'stime to put on your full armor.

(01:32):
Good morning, Affirmation family. Welcometo your Tuesday. I am so glad
that God is blessing us with anotherday. We rejoice in the Lord.
Today's affirmation is knowing the worth ofyour call. God is calling you.

(01:57):
He is wanting you to embrace thecalling and the empowerment of how He wants
to move through you. And letme tell you something. It doesn't matter
anything that you've been through. Itdoesn't matter anything that you may have even
recently been through, because God issaying right now that he wants you to

(02:22):
consider the calling that He's placed onthe inside of you more than what you're
going through right now. The scripturefor today is Matthew, chapter four,

(02:44):
and it starts at verse eighteen. It says, as Jesus was walking beside
the Sea of Galilee, he sawtwo brothers, Simon Peter. Simon called
Peter and his brother Andrew. Theywere casting a net into the lake,

(03:07):
for they were fishermen. Jesus said, come follow me, and I will
send you out to fish for people. Verse twenty is our key verse.
It says at once they left theirnets and followed him, The Lord is

(03:32):
speaking to you right now, becausethe Lord wanted to speak to us today
about the worth of our calling. There was a gift and a talent,
and that some of you may notbe awake. Can you picture that you

(03:58):
actually may be sleepy, You actuallymay be sleep to what God wants to
do inside of you. But whathappens if you recognize the worth? What
happens if you awaken to the worth. What happens if you begin to say,

(04:25):
God, I want what you havecalled me to do, and I
will not place anything above it,Not what I thought was important, not
what I think is valuable. ButGod, whatever you deem as worthy,

(04:50):
that is what I want. Ifyou don't want me over here, God,
I don't want to be over that. If you want me to change
careers. Even though I'm at thisstage of where I am, God,
the worth is greater than where Iam. Some of us need to say,

(05:16):
God, I believe you've been callingme, and we need to leave
our nets. We need to leaveour nets. We need to trust in
God that he will do supernaturally more. The word worth is what I want

(05:43):
us to focus on. Is whatthe Holy Spirit highlighted. The definition of
worth is value, worthy, deservingof the quality of a thing that renders
it valuable, are useful. Iwant you to begin to declare the calling

(06:11):
of God is worth in my life? Is worthy to me? I want
you to begin to declare that rightnow. Come on out loud, because

(06:43):
what we see is that Simon Peterand his brother they weren't just friends,
they were brothers. Sometimes brothers canhave very two different opinions. Sometimes you

(07:06):
don't know. It could have beenpassed down in their family. Their family
could have even been relying on thismoney, I'm sure. But the spirit
of God, the spirit of Godbeckon them, and Jesus said, come

(07:35):
follow me, and he gave theman exchange. He said, I will
send you out to fish for people. I don't know about you, but
I would have been like, whatis that? What is this man talking
about? If I was responding outof a lack of worth for the gospel?

(08:07):
Do you see the worth of thegospel? What is the calling and
the vision that God has given toyou? I want you to imagine you
waiting twenty forty fifty years to stepinto the career that you're in right now.

(08:41):
Maybe you're in teaching, maybe you'rein insurance. What if you waited
and said, even though I cando that right now, I'm going to
put it off until it feels right, until it's convenient, until I have
the revelation. That is what someof us are doing right now. When

(09:09):
we push away the heart of God, we're saying, God it, I
know you're calling me to build aBible study. I know you're calling me
to go in to speak to theseyoung kids. I know you're calling me
to go part time in my joband begin to minister to Mother's God.
But it doesn't feel right. God. I know you want me to step

(09:33):
away for a season and go usemy talent somewhere else. I know you
want me to put in a pause. But God, it doesn't feel right.
It's not valuable to me. Iwant you to begin to declare the

(09:56):
calling of God. Begin to saythis, the calling of God. My
calling has great and a high regardin my soul and in my spirit.

(10:18):
I will leave the nets for thegreater one. Just like Simon, Peter
and Andrew. I will leave thenets for the greater One. I will

(10:39):
leave my opinion of what is right, and I receive what is worthy of
God and my calling. I wantyou to begin to do even some warfare

(11:03):
right now, and declare, Ireject every man made idea of life.
I reject every man made concept ideaof life. Begin to speak in your

(11:26):
own way, and I receive thewalk of God. The calling of God
is worthy to me. I willleave whatever he's calling me to leave.

(11:50):
Just begin to say it. Beginto pray to the Lord Father, I
just pray, Lord God, andyou will begin to smeet to your people,
begin to reveal to them or God, where you are calling them to
walk away from Jesus. Pray LordGod that you would show them they're calling

(12:13):
in this season. Lah. Forsome of you, you may not have
to walk away, but the Lordwants you to know the worth of your
calling. And I keep seeing todayis a more melodious stay and we need

(12:35):
these But I keep seeing the Lordis showing me like people are waiting years
until they're comfortable to follow God.Huh. Can you imagine if Simon,
Peter and Andrew waited they said,oh, he'll be back. We need
a little bit more money, Ineed a little bit more success, I

(12:58):
need a little bit more static.I'm sure he'll be back. I'm sure
he'll be back. But guess whatthe life of Jesus was three years and

(13:18):
by us saying that we will waituntil the right time, we are being
foolish and prideful, but foolish tothink that the Lord won't use somebody else.
Because if Simon, Peter and Andrewsaid, no, this is what
the Lord really wants to say today, then the Lord would have found somebody

(13:39):
else to stand in their place, and he would not have been back because
he's assignment wasn't even fifty thirty years. So the thing that God is asking
you to do, you're waiting. You said, oh, God will be
back, Oh I have time, not realizing that it is an appointed time,
and that the Spirit of God Godhas been beckoning you, slowly but

(14:03):
surely, because He is kind andpatient. He is kind and patient and
long suffering, and the Spirit ofGod is even coming through me right now
to begin to declare to you thatyou've been trying to wait for the right
time, but the time is rightnow. Don't wait for the right time.

(14:24):
Simon, Peter and Andrew, Jesussaid, come follow me, and
they came. Where is your valuefor the Word and the name of Jesus,
Come go and follow the Lord,Go and follow God. It is
worth it. It is worth it. It is worth it. It is

(14:48):
worth it. In the name ofJesus. Count the costs and it won't
compare. It is worth it.It is worth it. It is worth
it. In the name of Jesus.
