La prima è quella che in Italia si è palesata il 31 gennaio, nella forma di una coppia di turisti cinesi in viaggio a Roma, risultati positivi al test per l’individuazione di quello che, allora, era comunemente chiamato coronavirus. Sì, parliamo della Covid-19, e diciamo che non c'è molto altro da aggiungere.
L'altra è più discreta, meno irruente e, soprattutto, infinitamente meno drammatica. Anzi, il suo compito è aiutarci E’ già intorno a noi, da tempo. E la usiamo, anche se non ne siamo del tutto consapevoli. E’ l'intelligenza artificiale.
L'AI è un'alleata preziosa nella lotta contro la pandemia di Covid-19, capace di supportare gli sforzi di ricercatori, medici e professionisti in numerosi settori. Non solo quelli scientifici, ma anche - per dirne uno - nel mondo dell'informazione.
Tutto questo ci viene raccontato da una persona che ha trasformato l'intelligenza artificiale nel proprio lavoro, come consulente del governo, come componente dell'AIxIA e come fondatrice di Pop AI.
