Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hi everyone.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Hey, I'm Alicia and I'm Meredith And this is.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Also podcast one Season Wonder edition. We're doing Jackson Brittany
take Kentucky. It is fine. They don't know what to
say about it. I knew it was bad, so expectations
were low going into it.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
It's giving me little things to chuckle about or be like,
huh interesting.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
But what gives me little things? This is ranking the
worst show easily. Yeah, this is it's just not even funny. No,
like I wish it was funny. It's like not even
there was. I don't even know if it was this
episode so far, I'm keeping it tally. There was only
one thing that ever made me cackle out loud, and
I don't even remember what it was, but man that

(01:04):
I cackle maybe well maybe it'll jog my memory if
it's this episode or not. I don't even remember. But okay,
before we get into it. If you like hearing us talk,
we have an Instagram, a TikTok, a YouTube, a Patreon
check us out on there. Please be sure to rate reviews.
If I can speak English, please be sure to rate,
review and subscribe. It really helps podcasts. And yeah, if

(01:24):
you enjoy us give us that five stars. It's really easy.
It's great, just a thon just Athon just I've gotten
from more people that were a really good podcast listen
to if you're running for some reason. So if you
know a runner in your life, put them on this podcast.
I don't know what, because I don't support runners, but
if that's you.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
I do through entertainment, but I can't do anything else
for you.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I think we need to start marketing to the running community.
I really think that's our Nie her Niche. I don't
know why, but people really that like to listen to us, well,
maybe we make their miserable run a little less terrible.
And I'm okay with that. I'll take it. I don't know,
because I'm not going to be running while listening to us.

(02:10):
I'll never know. I'll never experience it, nor would I
ever listen to myself even if I did run. But hey,
for anyone that comes in your life and is like,
I'm planning on running a marathon, be like, do I
have the podcast.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
From the podcast, but of the episode, do you know
what Jackson Brittany really is?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
It?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Things together running us and Jackson Brittany. Yeah, all that's
the trifecta right there. I don't know what else gets.
I don't know how it gets worse, honestly, So so
let's do it except for running. We're doing two out
of the three now because it's us and Jackson Brittany.
So I don't even remember this episode, and to be honest,
I watched it yesterday. So's yeah, way WHOA.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Let me set the scene of where we are previously
on Jackson Brittany. Jackson's like Tarzan and plays like Jane,
and he's stressed about all the single moms in Brittany's life.
But is Jack's the one for Brittany. Brittany says she
can't imagine her life without him, and Dad is really
wanting to see their relationship move forward, but he's obviously
stressed about who Jax is. So we pick up right

(03:15):
in a conversation with Jack's and Dad in the basement alone.
Jackson is saying that Brittany is losing her spark and
she's probably depressed, and Dad's like, wait a minute, are
you trying to use this to get out of marrying
my daughter? Because if so, stop promising her one thing.
Just to look for the exit door.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
And he goes sir, sir, I would never do that me.
I just need everything to be perfect before I marry
her because I am a perfectionist. Me perfectionist.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
I was like, that would not call me if I
was the dad being like, oh okay, oh you're gonna
marry my daughter wants everything's perfect? Okay, that that sounds great,
Like when is life ever perfect?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Jax has been a bartender for at least forty five
years and he's never perfect. Did a drink in his life.
Even when he opens beers, they get fucked up somehow.
And this is where he chooses to be a perfectionist.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Oh of course, on the women in his life. Yeah,
that's the one area that he will be like I
expect perfection.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
He cheats on all of them, though I can't. I know,
there's no perfection I know anyway. Basically, Dad is like,
I'm gonna talk to Brittany and Jesus like I think
you should. I think you should deal with her imperfections,
not me, my god, not our future husband.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
It's just like basically, Juxa's like, oh my god, I
would never I just want to make her happy, and
we decide to move on from the conversation because we can't.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
You know, his dad sniffs bullshit. Dad sniffs the bullshit
and is like, there's no point even having this conversation
because you're a psycho. Great.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
So, Brittany and the rest of the family are preparing
some stuff upstairs. Don't you worry. We've got are they
preparing some beer cheese dips.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Some Mamma beard Mama by mama. This is mamma. It's
not officially mamma's beer cheese, but it was made by mamma.
You know, even at this house right now, this is
Dad's house. She's not dead woman in the frame that
was my imagine. That's step up. It's stepmom's beard cheese's.

(05:25):
It's all Kentucky beard cheese. It doesn't matter. Don't worry.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Jack's off the hook. We're playing pool. The family's downstairs.
Things are getting better and Jackson, Brittany, we find out,
are going out with her friends tonight, which obviously Jackson
loves that.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
No, no, no, the single mom friends. That's how Jackson.
All of Brittany's friends, according to Jack's are single moms.
I mean a lot of them are. I think they
all are. You know the worst part of this show,
the parts with the single mom friends. I'm like, Jack's.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Okay, maybe when I find these moments funny, but I'm like, no,
I can't side with Jack's or when he has these
like funny one liners that are not that funny buck
compared to the rest of the show, I'm like.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
That is a good one. He has some good ones.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I can't be by Shining Star.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, yeah, he just he he hates that all of
them have kids, and they all I got divorced and
the fathers aren't in it. And I get that because
Jackson is saying, let's just wrap it up with condoms
and not get married until we're thirty, right, But these
people in this small Kentucky sees the.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Like contradictions that they're like raised so religious or not
so religious, but they're all like raised in religion, and
it's like, wait a minute, how did this happen?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Then?

Speaker 3 (06:43):
And then also like there's a lot of ways to
prevent this, but this is Middle America.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
This is why like any I'm in sixteen and Pregnant
were shows, yes, one hundred percent, So like I understand that,
like this is the town. Unfortunately, and just like you
get married at a young age. A lot of the
times it doesn't work out you have kids right away.
Jacks though, is where I am. He's like, why.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Would we do Jackson's thirty seven saying It's like he's
trying to then apply that to his own life. He's like, hey,
you guys should do that, and I agree with him
for that, but then he's also like, but I should
also wait, tou and it's like, my guy, you're thirty
seven years old.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
I don't know. I feel like I'm going to be
thirty seven and still think I'm twenty five and be
like I'm a child bride. That's like, I'm going to
be a child bride and a team mob. Jackson is
a tea mom. Jahi's a team mom. I weirdly at
thirty seven, I'm gonna reask you and be like, do
you still kind of see it for his point though,
because I feel like.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I don't think we'll be in like a relationship dragging
somebody along who wants to try.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
And I would never shame a bunch of single moms
like I never do. But like I get what he's saying,
he's just doing it terribly being this, yeah, and guess
what not to spoil, but to spoil, he's a not
even a single dad, because God knows he sucks and
being up parents that's the thing. He's barely a dad.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
This same thing happened to him anyway, So he's single
and he fathered a child that's who does.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
So technically Brittany ended up kind of like her friends,
a single mom. Alicia, I was thinking about that during
this episode. Not to be like rude. I don't like
either of them, to be honest, but Brittany's at least
a good mom. Jack's is a sperm dealer. But look,
they waited and it didn't really help. So that proves
if you have kids with the wrong person, you're getting

(08:34):
it doesn't.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Yeah, well, let's go out with a single mom crew.
Oh well, actually not yet.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Sorry.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
We first stop by downtown Winchester and Brittany and Jack's
are walking down the I'm gonna call.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
It main Street.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Brittany shared stories about growing up in this town and
how when she would win a pageant, she would ride
on like a car and like wave to the people,
and she got trouble wants for egging a house just
telling those little stories, and Jackson is just like Jesus Christ.
This is a small town.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
One thing about Jack's he hates a charming town. He
hates a charming down for sure.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Absolutely, I will give him this that he is stressed
because this town basically has no cell service and he's
questioning if it even has dial of.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Internet, and I do agree with that.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
This is why me and my family will not go
to my mom's family's area for long.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Well, this cell service, this is why Don hasn't watched
VANDR Pump rules. He can't connect the satellite to that
to the cable. He has no idea. He has the
five channels two, five, seven, eleven, and thirty three. That's
all I got. That's all it is the locals. Absolutely
what is cable? So he I get it. But also,

(09:49):
this was what twenty sixteen seventeen I think, Okay, I
mean we can't. Oh it came out.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
I think it came out in twenty seventeen.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
So I mean probably fil we were incredibly connected at
that point. Yeah, I mean Jacks could have bought or
like rented one of those hot spots at the library
or something to bring it along. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
The time, I was like, is the golden move back
to Kentucky, like for Britain, No, because well if it was,
I'd be like, I understand Jack's being like, nope, we're
not doing this. If the goal is just two weeks here,
suck it up.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Well that's why I don't know why Jacks is like
hating on this charming town that the love of his
life grew up in because he doesn't have to live here.
He just needs to come back and visit and maybe
like see where his girlfriend was created, you know, like
the town that birth. Yeah, and no, he hates like, no,

(10:46):
he hates charm, he hates happiness. You know what, I'm
sorry to La kind of sucks, and you know it
makes sense Jack's is there. You know what New York
sucks to Chicago can suck. Every place kind of sucks,
and every place has its good stuff. And as a
city person similar ish to Jack's, I get how this
small town sucks, but on vacation, I enjoy a small town.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Listen, I'm not going here without any connections. I'm not
going to Winchester, Kentucky, but like, if the love of
my life is from there, I'm like, I want to
see her high school.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
I want to hear about you.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Riding on the back of a like convertible when you
were a pageant queen.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Maybe, but I don't know, but you tell me all
of it. And then I loved hearing about how she
got in trouble.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
For egging a house and like how to come like
down to like city hall or something I would have asked.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
I would have been like, is that a serious crime
in this town? Absolutely? Because I feel like the people
I know, I've done a few crazy things in my
day and we never got the police called on us,
didn't even get caught. Yeh, didn't even get caught. So
my question was because this is a small town. So
my next question is is are the police very busy

(11:59):
or is this the crime that they focus on or.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Is this a neighborhood watch situation where the people have
more authority?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Who caught you? Whose house were you egging?

Speaker 3 (12:08):
What?

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Let's start at the beginning, dig in this, yack at
this town, yock at your stories. I know.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Jack's the criminal, like the man on probation would also
like to bond over his girlfriends over her criminal past.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
So you are a criminal too, Oh that's awesome. Yeah.
Well we moved on and we meet Wes Brittany's brother.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
I'm at like a coffee shop or a cafe, and
we sit down and we talk about how Wes and
his wife found out in the spring that her tubes
are bad, which I don't know what that means, the
just her tubes are bad. It's such a man's way of.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
Being, like, I don't know, yeah too, but yeah, those
tubes weren't kicking in and but and they had a
few miscarriages, which is like, so sad that they have.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
They've been struggling and building their family, and so they
want to do IVF, but it is really expensive. It
can cost between sixteen and twenty thousand dollars. So they're
having a fundraiser to cover the costs of IVF. And
I think this is so sweet that the whole town
is going to like help out.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
No, that's so sweet. However, Jacks can't comprehend how people
would pay to have a kid because he has paid
so much to not it's through condoms. And I was like,
and if I remember correctly, in Vander Pumperle's Season one,
wasn't there a rumor or maybe it was confirmed. I
don't know, it's true he paid to have a girl
he got pregnant, give her an abortion.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
We get a flashback yet of them talking about how
jacksonpregnated a it was either a or something. Yeah, yeah,
and that turned out to be true. And yes, he
did pay for her to have an abortion.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
So Jackson has spent upwards of twenty thousand to also
not be pregnant.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
So that's the thing between the condoms, the abortion costs.
Why why you would try so hard to have a kid.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
He's just miners. Sometimes I'm like so taken aback by
what he said. It's good, but it checks out. I'm
never surprised. I'm just flabbered host Never, I'm just.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Like, I'm like, you're he's not that funny on vannder
Pump Rules, but like, well.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Because there are funnier people in this show. Let's be honest.
Everyone is his white paint and Jackson is like gray.
So he stands down a little. Yeah, he's a little better.
That's so true.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Well, I'm excited to like watch this family get some help.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
I think that's really sweet.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
This is the nice say small town that like we
should enjoy of like the suptown Kentucky.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
But can I also say because I feel like a
lot of people always ask, and we shouldn't ask this
because we never know what people are going through. When
are you having kids? Or do you ever want kids?
When are you gonna be a mom? Stop is. But
there are a lot of couples who go through like
in like they're infertile and they're not able to have
their own kids, so they need to do IVF. So

(15:09):
I think normalize asking other people to help you pay
for it. If they're going to ask about it, if
they want you to have a kid, you don't want
to pay for it. If my parents want me to
have a kid, so bad, let's just I don't. But
let's just say in the future, I'm in a relationship
but I want one, but I can't have one and
my parents are distraught. You pay for my IVF, then

(15:32):
you give me half and we'll do this, But you
shouldn't or anyone who asks owes you one hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
I just think it's okay to ask if people want kids.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
If you want, I think that's great, that's a normal
question to ask.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
But yeah, I think if you are going to intrusively
ask about my sex life, basically you owe me money.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yeah, you want me to have kids so bad. Cough
it up.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
I'll do IVF to be honest, that's not gonna just
stop after idea. If you're gonna we got to feed
these kids. We gotta clothe these kids. We got school,
we got at all. So like, let's keep the donations wrong.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Normalized donating to people who want to kids when you
are nosy. Yeah, you're gonna be nosy about it. Here
we are works.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
So yeah, well let's go to some people who already
have some kids.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
We are going to Ington, Kentucky for singles mom night.
Now we're in a big town, Lexington, Kentucky. Is that
where Kentucky is?

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Yeah, yeah, tunny seven and thirty seven out into college town.
That's terrifying. Twenty seven really really good point. But this
bar also is dead. This is where this is where
you go after you left the townies go to this town.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Well, I order if it was like a Tuesday or.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
It's early college kids don't go out until nine. Really
good point, really good point. But these are single moms.
They have to be home by at least eleven.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Okay, well, actually I was curious about this. They walk
in and we hear like Jack's or I think it
was Brittany say that she got the group like table
and bottle service, which like, what the fuck is happening
with that in a college town? But I thought she
also said she got them a room, and so I
didn't know if that meant a hotel.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Room maybe maybe like the bar. Yeah, I was like, damn,
but I don't know. But bottle service is amazing at
this bar. One fifty a bottles. It's raining bottles with
raining bottles for Jacks.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
I would also be able to rain bottles if if
bottle service was one hundred and fifty dollars.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
We know Jackson his friends go out and get bottles.
At this point, he's hanging out with the Toms. They
always got bottle service for six hundred dollars, and that's
probably on the cheaper side of like la bottle service.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Oh my god, I would have thought it was like
one thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
So like this, but also, what what bottles are they
possibly getting at this college or whatever it's called? No, no, no, no, no,
you get you don't even get the Kylie Jenner brand
tequil that didn't even you don't even get it. You
barely get Tito's probably smear enough, but we'll take it.

(18:21):
Those moms will take it. I was about to say
those single moms will take anything.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
They This is where Jack's thrives when he does something
so little in his brain, but everybody else is like, wow,
that was so amazing.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
It's also something every benefiting him. It's also something that
benefits him. He drinks the alcohol.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
I guess, but like, I mean, he would much rather like, well,
what do you think he would rather do? Be out
with the single moms buying bottle service and getting drunk,
or like sleeping alone on the bunk bed.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
He wants to get drunk. This this man loves and
he can't drink at Britney's house, so he he loves.
This man loves a drink. He loves. He also loves
to spend money. He loves to show his wealth. He
loves to show. He does it to brag. He's like,
I'm not a night. Here's the thing is how Jacks things.

(19:14):
He's not a nice person, but he has to win
people over, so he'll just buy that. He'll just buy
them and that at one hundred and fifty dollars. He
is setting too.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Like you said, he he likes drinking too, So if
it's an activity he loves anyways, sold if.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
They were sober bowling, he would be complaining and not
paying for everyone's onion rings. But here we're doing an
activity he enjoys. Whether he's with the single moms or not,
he's gonna be drup and that's all that matters. Yeah, Yeah,
that's a good point. That's a good point.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Well, Brittany's friends are asking Brittany when her and Jacks
are gonna have a baby, and Jackson is just like
ninety percent of you have kids outside of marriage or
are divorced, Like why are we asking what we are
going to do it? Like re ups the conversation we
have about how he's like, we need more time, Like
we're gonna.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Do this said though he hated what he went, you're
not making a good case for me. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
But then he goes on and says a one line
that in present day hits even harder. He says, one
thing in life I won't accept is divorce. I was
upset Brittany's best friend because she's like, I'm divorced, Like
what the fuck?

Speaker 1 (20:27):
You asshole? Someone stitch that line didn't age.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Well, didn't age well, and Karen also is like, why
are you scared to quote unquote rush into marriage? Like
I thought you loved Brittany. Is Brittany not worth it?
And I will say, like that's not a diss to
just be like, hey, I want to take some time
and make sure this is right. But also, this is Jack,
so like anything he says is offensive.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
That's the thing. It's like, here's these people don't know Jack,
so I'm trying to get him the benefit of the
doubt is like or like not even if this was
anyone else, it'd be like, hey, they're just trying to
like do their due diligence, like yeah, be adults, like
get it together, you know. But it is Jack, so
he will drag his feet, which is what they don't know.

(21:11):
So like, watching it as a viewer is so frustrated
because like, if he can get away with it, he'll
never marry Brittany. However, if it was like anyone else,
they'd be like, these girls need to fucking lay off
of him. That's what it is.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Is like they're justified because it's Jack's not because of
the situation.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
But like I, as someone who doesn't like like like
I'm not dying to get married. So like if someone
kept asking me when are you gonna get married? I'd
be like, ah, what's the point? Yeah? Right? Also, why
am I going to do this for you?

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Like we're gonna figure this out, Like you're not involved
in this, even though you love Brittany and these are
her family and friends.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
It's like, this is our decision. Yeah. However, if you're
in a relationship with someone, you discuss marriage and if
one party want marriage a lot and you're kind of
questioning it, but you tell that other party I also
want to get married, then we're all justified in as
this question. Yes, yes, heyes. So anyway, the single moms,

(22:13):
though they want.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
It, Jax isn't gonna He's not gonna rush a shitty marriage.
And this continues like Kara and Jack's fighting because Kara
believes that Jackson is just talking shit about Brittany. So
it definitely like doesn't end well.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
He says that she's missing her spark again. Oh, her
friend doesn't like that, And you know what, I'm team
friend on this one.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
I that is a terrible thing to say about someone.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
If someone said that about my friend, they're dead. They're
absolutely murdered, and I wouldn't feel bad about it. Nose.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Also, if you genuinely thought like I lost my spark,
the conversation you'd be having around it would be so different.
Like if I thought you were depressed and like needing
my help, I wouldn't just be like, yeah, she's depressed
and that's it. It's like, hey, how do we help?
Like how do we both help her? Like I know
you're you're the long distance front and I'm in town boyfriend,

(23:10):
So like what can we do to make sure? Like, yeah,
she's at her best? So when I do propose, she
is at her best.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Yeah, He's just like, FYI, I'll never propose because she's depressed.
That's all. He's like, Oh, can't do this because she's depressed.
And then he's like gaslighting his her friend and because
she's like why are you talking shit on Brittany And
he's like I never said that. He's like, you're crazy,
you single mom, And I was like, ohly, this man's

(23:38):
off his rocker, off his racker. He's the worst. But yeah,
he's gaslighting the fuck out of her friends. It doesn't
end well between the two of those, but.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
The next day we go to Wes Brittany's Brothers workshop
and he's setting this up for the IVF fundraiser. So
Brittany and Jack's are here to help a little bit.
But first we kind of talked about last night and
it a really late night, but it's okay. They're going
to work through this. Jackson is actually thrilled to actually

(24:09):
be at the workshop versus the farm. You know, this
is a lot easier work, just like shifting some tables around,
getting things is to do.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
This at work anyway all the time. So that's so true.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
Yeah, this we learned that Wes really wants to get
at least half of the IVF cost, so about eight
thousand dollars, which I was like, that's pretty hard. He's
just like, let me get whatever I can.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
Like, we just want a kid, I know, I know.
And Jackson is sitting there looking at his last CBS
receipt and he's like, I spent eight thousand down beer
in condoms. Yeah, easy shit, easy money.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
We learned that this fundraiser will include a bunch of
like local businesses donating items, so we're going to raffle
those off and then I have like little raffles and
a lot of things going on.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
This is later, but a carry underwood guitar, Yes, underwood guitar.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
I'm so curious, Like I was thinking, like, this will
just be kind of like local businesses giving gift cards
and you know.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
I thought like a free class at are Pottery whatever
they do or yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
So then whenever he said eight thousand dollars, I was like,
no offense to this town and these people in the town.
But I was like that that is a good chunk
of money to ask of your friends and family to
basically like cough up out of their own pockets. Like, yeah,
I was curious how many people would be coming. What's
the basically cost per person, like you buy that about

(25:38):
or like, yeah, what are the raffle tickets to get
us to eight thousand?

Speaker 1 (25:41):
I was nervous.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
I was like, yeah, no, we're going to get to
eight thousand.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
But Carrie Underwood guitar. That should sweep up at least
a thousand right there.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
That should get But also again was pretty good, Yeah what.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
We can get, We'll take what we can get anyway, Sorry,
we could get back to the storyline. That just surprised
me because I was like, damn, that's a great good raffle,
Well not anymore because Carrie Underwood's terrible now.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
But no sign guitar by anyone.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
It doesn't matter who, like money.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Who got that? I was curious who were? Like where
some of these items came from.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
I was also curious, like who wants to carry? You know,
because like I would see that and be like, oh,
that's cool, But I personally don't know what the fuck
I would do with a carry? Like they probably love
country music a lot. Okay, literally, any Taylor Swift guitar?
The funk would I do with that? Beyonce? What am
I doing with it? It reminds me of the movies

(26:40):
or like were I don't guess. It reminded me of
the the movie Uptown Girls were that Brandy Murphy's character's
dad had a bunch of fucking guitars and she had
to sell them all. I was like, I get it
because he's a musician, but the people who bought these
guitars you just display hang it up. Yeah, but in

(27:02):
this country town, what do you do it? Sorry, it
doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
You buy like your daughter and she hangs on her like, well, okay,
you know.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Get a poster the fuck? Okay? Whatever. Whatever.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Well, we chat about how Brittany's friends were really emotional
last night, and we like know that Jax is being
a hypocrite, Like Brittany is not gonna like let this
like the ship talking of her friends stand, and so
she's just like shut up. Jack's like just not having it,
which I'm like, yes, Brittany get.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
It, especially because they're divorced single moms. Why am I
gonna listen to a bunch of divorced single moms? Which
and Jackson can't help himself.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
He can't just like shut up and like fix this
shop up. He's like, listen, I wanted to get about
party favors last night. I needed to give them all
condoms as partying gifts, which like is like class straw.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
He's such a I think the thing is, I know
he's a terrible person. So when he says these things,
I just laugh because you're just like, yeah, well fucking
it is.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Jack said this stuff to like Brittany's brother terrible. No, No,
I think him being like listen, like all of her
friends are single moms and they're harping on me.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
I'm like, why I don't eat? Are saying so hard
to have a kid like like that, Like you can make.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
These jokes to not the person's best friend.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
You're right, you're right, it would be a little funnier.
But it's just Jesus, don't talk about kids in this town, don't.
This is a town you don't talk about people for reasons.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
We've got people who are single moms.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
And really wanting a baby.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Yeah, we're trying so hard to raise money to have
a baby, and you're over here, like, let's stop all pregnancy.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Whether they're single or not. This town loves the baby.
They show up the baby. They're showing up for the baby.
They literally raised so much money for babies that we
didn't even know they had this money in this town.
That's crazy money.

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Well, it's time for the fundraiser to start, and as
people walk in, they're buying raffle tickets and we see
Mamma as one of the first to arrive, and she
has shown off her matching boots to the ones Jacks
has been wearing around the farm, her American black boots.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Mamma is surprised, is weird?

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Sorry, She's so disappointed Jackson isn't like wearing his tonight,
and she's like, I bought mine to match him, and
it's like, what does this man do to like make
you swoon?

Speaker 1 (29:39):
It's a weird crash on Jack's that mama has. Yeah, he, Mamma,
I thought you were wise enough to look through his bullshit.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
He's obviously everything like she would want for Brittany.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
But do you think do you think mamma was upset
about the divorce. I was wondering what her dad.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
Every abody thought like in this last few like Dad,
when I told you so, Dad would never he's so
nice he Whenever I told you so to Brady.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Dad said it's privately to his his wife and was like,
I told her so, But I guess that, Yeah, I
don't know anyway, Well.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Because of this weird cross checks and Mamma dance for
a minute, which is really weird because like Mamma doesn't
dance at all, so like she's willing to.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Crash is weird. The crush is weird. The crush is weird.
You don't have crushes on your children's significant.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Others, granddaughter in law or it's not whatever, it's you
don't have to do it, you don't, I say, Hi,
I always thought about that, Like.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
My dad is very close to like my mom's parents,
but like and like, I'm sure he has danced with them,
like at weddings before, but never if my grandma like
openly flirted with my dad the way Mamma seems to kind.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Of Mama is doing it in like the grandma way
where she's just like, oh you you ever?

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yeah, say whatever. She's like, yo, but it's weird. It
is weird. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Well, Jackson moves on and pulls Sherry to talk about Brittany,
and he's like, things are so amazing, but Brittany's losing
her spark and she's a little depressed.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
He just showed Cherry the ring like five minutes ago.
That's what I was like, and him setting it up
as things are amazing, but that spark. I actually can't
propose to her because she is ruining it. Yeah, I never.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
Then Sherry's like, well, Brittany used to be really tiny
and like she has gained some weight.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
And I was jack loves the extra love handles, but
I was like, Sherry, why why is that the point?

Speaker 3 (32:02):
Also the way she was like, well, she wasn't her
weight now she's a little overweight.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
I'm like, wait, what like Sherry that she was on
her weight to press, wouldn't you be happy she's eating?
Like yeah, I was like what, No, Charry doesn't sound
like she wanted Brittany to have a good relationship with food.
It was a weird. That was weird because if someone
went to my mom and was like, Alicia's losing her spark,

(32:27):
I would hope and know honestly that my mom's first
response wouldn't be she gained some weight. The fuck? Yeah
what maybe he gained like two hundred pounds. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
If I was a mobile, if I was part of
the thousand pounds sisters and like I had to get surgery, yes,
that would aff's my But if I'm still living, if

(32:50):
I can do everything I was doing in the lower
way the weight in the higher weight, I'm I'm okay
if I could still do my especially.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
If you want underweight prior yay. The swing of like
fifty pounds hits different if like you're.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Overweight and then you add fifty pounds versus your underweight
and then you add fifty pounds. Yeah, but Jax loves
that she gained that extra weight.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Which hold that because at a later point he will
say he doesn't like it, because classic Jacks, he's such
a course abler at all times.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Of course he doesn't well.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
At the same time, Dad is like pulling Britney for
a chat, and Dad starts it off with like, hey,
are you okay, and Brittany's like, well, I'm a little homesick,
you know, like it's nothing, it's nothing more than that
I do miss you guys, which like, valid, you are
halfway across the country from your parents. And Dad's like, okay,

(33:50):
I just want to make sure you're not like it's
not a little something more and she's like no, no, no,
it's I'm just I miss you guys. And then Dad
is like also worried about Britney's health, and so he's like,
how are you doing with the rest of your health?
And she's like I'm good, like I've obviously gained some weight,
but like I go on walks with the.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Dog like I'm doing great.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
And so we see the side by say conversation of
obviously Dad has had it with Jack's the conversation with
Jack's first, so now he's going to Brittany like he
said he would and trying to sess it out, and
I like, you can tell. Brittany is just like, yeah, no,
I'm good, And then we jump back to the conversation
with Jackson Sherry and jack tells Sherry that he won't
propose until this is fixed, and I hate that those

(34:33):
words this is fixed, and really asks Cherry to keep.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
This conversation private between them. Don't tell her I said anything,
but I don't know how we'll fix it. But just
don't tell her to change anything.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
We got to really fix her little depression era she's in.
Don't tell her anything about this. But I also won't
propose until any of this is fixed. But you can't
talk to her about it.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
What did Dad say last episode? Like Jackson is just
trying to find reasons not to propose. Yeah, don't act
like you're going to propose if you're not acting.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
To propose, if you're looking for the exit strategy, is
what he said?

Speaker 1 (35:07):
There you go love it? Well?

Speaker 3 (35:08):
Dad takes it one step further. He's not just going
to talk about her health. He also wants to make
sure Jaxon is treating Brittany correctly. And I was like,
here we go, this is the best man.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
This is sure he cheated on her though, right, Yes, Okay, yeah, great.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Well, I don't know when the cheating. I can't remember
when the exact cheating happened. But this is before Brittany knows.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
Yes, okay, yeah, it was before she found out on
everyone go watch Fantos on the show.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Yes, it's like the next van of Pomperole season.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
She sends out, you know one of the greatest. It's
the cinema.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
I think he cheats on her right after this trip,
but I'm not one hundred percent sure trip.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Yeah, he hates this trip. He goes back, he cheats
on her. Yeah, yeah, that's Jack's.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Percent, and Brittany says that Jackson's trading her well and
down over all things, Brittany is like beating, like being
honest in all of our answers. So he's not concerned
based on Jackson's concern anymore.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
So Dad's like, you'd better proposed. Seems no fucking problem.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
But he's doing great, Like you just need to propose
it sounds like it great. Well, Jackson Brittany sit down
for a minute and talk about how much money they're
gonna give. They're gonna give about five hundred dollars because
that is the maximount you can pull out from the ATM.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
At the moment, I was like, write a check, Like,
what do you need to get is if my rich
sister and future brother in law rich I'll say it
again because they're famous. Uh only gave me five hundred.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Dollars, I'd be annoyed, So I'd be annoyed for the
carry underwood guitar, like I know Mamma probably gave more
like the I agree, like five hundred.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
Listen, they're not rich in their standards, like the version
they're living in LA. But the amount that they could
donate to this, yes, is more than.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Jack spends eight condoms in beer probably like he could.
You're underestimating that. He said sixteen thousand. Come on, you
know he's got I'm this man has dropped so much
money in front of our eyes, let alone what he
does in private he can come on, come on, come on.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
Do you also think that all the family members are
getting paid for this show? So then they're getting like
maybe Wes and his wife are getting paid like, let's say,
like two grand to be on this show.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
I want to say no because as I try to
look these people up, none of them really have an
online presence or associated with the show, like none of
their names are accredited, like on the IMDb page, like
there are no names except Sherry. So if you get
like dafies.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
So I just wonder if they just got like, you know,
like five hundred dollars to appear, I'm.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Sure to like film, they gave them something, but I
don't think gets anything to write home about, whereas Jackson
Brittany didn't. I think Jackson was making white like twenty
five or twenty k his first season and then it
like went up depending on how much drama he created.
So like he's got and he was living in LA

(38:14):
before that, working on Sir, making decent money there. So
like he's just adding to his bank. So well we hope,
we hope. We don't know what he's doing with his money.
Well we also know he's broke. He doesn't pay taxes
like we know, but he could give more.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
He's not cash poor, like yes, like yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Brittany only giving five hundred is bullshit, Yes, that's bullshit.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
Jack's bigger problems because Kara polls Jacks and she apologizes
for her tone the previous night.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
You know she had been drinking. No, that's awesome. She goes,
I apologize for my tone, and he was like, your
tone for what you said? No, But she won't.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
She's not, Yeah, she's not apologizing for what she said
because she feels like holds things over Brittany's head.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
And Jackson is so offended.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
He is like I don't he like immediately blows up,
but they come back down, and I just think this
conversation is cut because there's no way he goes from
so offended too.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
He's like, you know what, we just like.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Want to see like Britney out one hundred percent, Like
let's agree to disagree. We just both love her, and
like we just wanted to be okay.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
She rejects to film because that's exactly what he does.
She must watch the show. She watches clips on BravoTV
dot com.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
Well, we move on with the fundraiser and Wes gets
on the mic with his wife, Militia, and they talk
about their struggle to have a baby, and Wes says
that usually it's one on one when you make a baby,
but tonight, as a group, we're going.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
To try to make a baby.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
And I was like, that's a good intro, good intro
to this IV fun raise.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
This guy.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
Yeah, and Jackson's itch for some attention. He's like, get
me the mic, get me the mic, and Dad's like,
give the mic. D Jack says, don't you worry everybody.
I'm not proposing, but whatever we raise tonight, I will
personally match.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Wait, can you imagine proposing at your brother in laws
in vitro fundraiser? No one was worried you were gonna
propose here. No, no. Brendan was like, wait, why do
you need the mic?

Speaker 3 (40:29):
And he was like, don't think anything of it, and
he was like, chill out, everybody. I think this family
would think that they were getting engaged.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
I think that is ridiculous. That is that's how much
they want this engagement.

Speaker 3 (40:44):
Like, I don't think they will be offended at all
as long as they get what they want.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
That yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
Well, the night goes on and while people are bidding
on things, West reminds them, hey, you're not just spending
your money, you're spending Jack's sailor's money too, so don't
forget to up those by an extra dollar or two.
And we get to the end of the night surprises
are being called off Wait.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
I get I was like, I hope it turns out
so bad for him. I hope, I hope it turns
out so bad for the money, because you know, he's
just doing this for attention.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
He again, they're gonna be three grand, and he's gonna
have to pay three grand.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
But also he's not a good person, but he can
buy his way into being a good person, like the
lines good has a baby. He just wants to be like, look,
I'm such a good guy. And Brittany's stupid friend that
hates me, the single mom, she's nuts.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
And there's but there's a ceiling on his good quote
unquote goodwill too. Like again, he just wants to donate
three grand and be like pat it on the back
and told he's amazing.

Speaker 1 (41:52):
He wanted to just double his five hundred dollars that
him and Brittany were gonna give that.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
Yeah, So at first we're we're like racking up a
and we have about seventeen hundred dollars, and then we're
getting up to nine grand, and Jack starts stressing out,
and by the end we're up to eleven eight hundred
dollars without Jack's match, and people just start donating money.
At this point, like all the fundraising like goods are

(42:19):
gone and people are like, I think it's hilarious that
if they donate one hundred dollars, Jack also has to
give one hundred dollars and jacky Waite stop donating, please stop.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
We're good, We're at our limit. We're fine. The way
I would dig around for any pennies in my purse,
I would be like just to make them miserable.

Speaker 3 (42:38):
At one point, it was like nine thousand, like eighty
two dollars and twelve cents, and Jackson's like, where are
we getting the twelve cents? Like he cannot fathom donating
twelve more cents.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
Mamma's friend that hates Jacks is digging for pennies in
her coin purse digging. Do we think Jack's z pay
this couple? No? Awesome?

Speaker 3 (43:04):
I think if anything, he like was like and was
like yes, like I don't have the cash, but like,
whenever I get the funds from like this show, I'll
give it to you. And then he maybe Brittany probably
sent them like five.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
Damn, I'd be pissed.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
I know that's a good question. I do wonder if
he paid up. I just I don't think he's that
good of a person.

Speaker 1 (43:23):
The only I looked into it and the only thing
I can find on like was like Bravo and like
Jax helps make a baby, And I was like, this
is not true. This is not true journalism. What I what?

Speaker 3 (43:36):
I like such a misleading headline.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Jax helps makes the Jax helps make a bag a baby.

Speaker 3 (43:43):
Well, one last thing happens at this big night is
that Dad and Sherry sit down and Dad is ready
to warn Sherry again about how terrible of a person
Jax is.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
I love these two gossipings. I love them.

Speaker 3 (43:59):
Because I also enjoy from an entertainment perspective that they
are on different sides. Because Dad's like listen, it's so obvious, like, yeah,
I'm trying to figure this guy out.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
He's expressing concerns about our daughter, and like I'm got
with him. Don leaves every interaction with Cherry going and
that's why I divorced her. She won't just fucking listen
to me.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
Yeah, He's like listen, Like Jax is like fine, you know,
but like I'm worried. He's trying to not propose, and
he's like leading her daughter down this path and then
she's gonna be disappointed, Like Jaxson is saying her daughter
is depressed. I don't think she's depressed. Like, we're getting
two different stories. This guy sucks. Cherry's like, I don't know.
He's like such a nice guy.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Jax is so nice. He even told me Brady's losing
her spark, so I got to talk to her about it.
And Don is like, Jesus, Sherry, shut the fuck up
and open your goddamn eyes. That's why you've been married
four times. Sherry. You don't know how to call bullshit.

Speaker 3 (44:55):
Yes, Sherry, you're listening to Jax, But I talked to her.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
Our daughter. Our daughter is fine, she wants to be engaged. No, Jackson,
did you see him dancing with my mamma? He loves that? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Dad's like, that's all right, You're a lost cause to Sherry,
so he's like, you know, time will tell on Jackson's intentions.
And this is when I wrote, Wow, what I would
give to know what he thinks today.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
I wish Don had a journal that he could publish
about what he thought about Jack's at this exact time. So, yeah,
what it was like to be jaxed? Yeah, yeah, what
the whole family got Jax How embarrassing home. The best
part is I know my dad would sniff this out,
and I know he looks straight at my mom and
be like, don't fucking fall for this. And that makes

(45:43):
me feel better because if I ever bring a man home,
my dad's gonna clack him in a second. I ever
brought Jack's home, and if I ever brought any man
that was on any reality TV show home, my dad
hates that person. A media agreed.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
Well, next time in Kentucky, Jacks goes to church and
sees a demon child. Jackson's sprayed with some dear piss.
Before hunting, Sherry tells Brittany about losing her spark and
we see Britney's ex boyfriend and Jackson doesn't want any problems.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Yuck. Okay, Okay, So I have really honestly tried to
look into the people on the show. They do not
want to be found. And if it takes me more
than like half an hour to really find anything, yeah,
I give up because you don't want to be found.
So like, yeah, I even scoured Britney's Instagram for people,
and she really doesn't post to touch.

Speaker 3 (46:36):
She'll posts you feeling on her stories a little bit,
but yeah, not a lot.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
I have a question for you.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
Yeah, off this episode, you know Britney's niece like Kinsley
or something?

Speaker 1 (46:46):
Is that the Iva baby that was? I literally can't
find anything on Wes on the internet.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
Damn, I don't know that, Like whose parents are, Like
that's the only child or like fel remember I like
remember really outside of obviously Shrey Mamma Kensley.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yeah, she always talks about her niece. No, it is.
It's really hard to find these people. A lot of
their instagrams are private, like a lot of Brittany doesn't
really post a lot with them. So I have tried,
and so I apologize that these are lackluster. But if
you don't want to be found, you don't want to
be found in who am I to out you? So

(47:26):
the only one that does want to be found is Sherry?

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Yes, yes, yes, because.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
Sherry's on She's credited on three shows on IMBD. It's
this one vander Pump Rules in the Valley. Oh yeah,
she loves it. So a few things I did. I
didn't do that big and deep dive into Sherry because
her husbands don't really want to be found. I couldn't
even figure out all her husbands. That was what I
was really looking for. Yeah, couldn't figure it out. But

(47:51):
here are the fun facts I found out about her.
So she is the owner of Farmer's Daughter Decor as
of too.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
Is that where all of the like farmhouse decor from
the couchy household, all those like signs came from.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
It might be because well, her instagram doesn't give a lot.
If you go to a TikTok she has in her instagram,
it's all these these ugly what does she call them,
vintage tobacco stick lanterns. What is that? You have to
go look, they're just lanterns, I'm assuming show me on

(48:33):
the camera. Okay, I'm playing up the TikTok, but oh
my god, it's just like their lanterns. They're just and
I they just have flowers on them. One of them
had an elf, which I assume is for some of
them have reading bunnies. Yeah, it's just anything you want.
She's also a sales executive for Miro Western Handbags, which

(48:57):
is also featured on her page. Those handbags are Sherry
would love these handbags if you know you know, if
you know Sherry, these handbags are very Sherry. But yeah,
Farmer's daughter decor she did. Those are like centerpieces from
the Turner Farm in Kentucky and they specialize in the

(49:20):
vintage tobacco stick lanterns. Okay. There was also a lot
of articles about how she lost a lot of weight,
to which I figured out she did Jenny Craig with
Brittany because Brittany's a Jenny Craig. She was a Jenny
Craig girl there in two years. Yeah, so that's actually that.

(49:42):
And then she's the only oh, she's the only other
cast member on IMBD. So it's three people, Jacks, Brittany,
and Sherry. Those are the only credited people. And you
can get Sherry. You can get a cameo from Sherry
for forty five dollars.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
That is so outrageous the pricing.

Speaker 1 (50:00):
Yep. Also, I do just off Cherry's Instagram. Yes, Wes
is the dad of Presley.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
Oh, Presley, that's the kid's name, Kingsley or whatever is.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
The oh okay, yeah, yeah, but Wes is still married
because he sells a ring in this photo. He's not
tagged on Instagram, so again I can't find him, but it's.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
Presley, Okay, Okay, yes, yes, yes, so to say the age,
because Brittany was just or was like recently in Kentucky
and I saw like Cruise in Presley and I was
like me, and her age seems like she's this child.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
Yeah, and then Luke is the guy, the younger one
we saw in at Applebee's right. Yeah, I think I
haven't seen much of Bryden on Sherry's Instagram. That's the
only one. Well no, no, no, okay, Braiden's here, so yeah,
those are I think the four he would be like

(51:04):
eighteen by no in twenty twenty three. He turned twenty,
so's twenty two. Yeah, he's twenty December fifteenth, so what
is it? Yeah, so twenty one twenty two, so good
for Braiden. But like they're never tagged. Cherry doesn't tag anyone,
so yeah, and Brittany doesn't post. So yeah, that's all

(51:27):
I could find on Cherry, though I don't know if
she's even really married. Didn't even honestly look at a ring,
and we're gonna be like so odd, Okay. I always
think like there's no way, like she's well not no way.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
But it would have shocked me if she was married
because she comes out so often to La.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
She's wearing a ring on her left ringing fingers, so yeah,
she's As of October twenty twenty four, she had a
ring in her photo. There you go, So I'm still married?
Who knows? There you go? Number five or still on four? Yeah,
I don't know. The most I found on Cherry was
her Jenny Craig journey so love it, love it awesome.

(52:03):
So I think that's it. Uh, do all the things
I mentioned at the beginning of the episode. Thanks so much,
love you, thanks for joining. Bye.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
