Speaker 1 (00:00):
So first, let's dig it off. Oh no, no, no, true,
you'll never guess so sidebar.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
And also I feel like I shouldn't have to remember
everything I know. Actually I have talked about this three
two one. Hi everyone. Hey, I'm Alicia and I'm Meredith.
And this is also podcast, the regular edition, no additions,
just us just seeing us be talking about stuff that
happened that we want to talk about. But before we

(00:31):
start chatting. We have an Instagram on YouTube of TikTok
a Patreon. All the links are in a description. Please
check that out. Also, please be sure to review and subscribe.
I did look. We have zero new nothings of anything.
Usually I say this and I go someone leaves something,
but I forgot to look, so I just like nothing
was there. But for reals, there was actually nothing there.

(00:51):
I did check, and I was like, well, that's even more.
I'd rather just be like Meredith. I never checked in out.
I have a bunch to share instead of being like Meredith,
there was something, lovely, No, there's nothing, well, big bummer. Anyway,
should we go straight into small celebrations after that? Big bummer?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I kind of forgot about that part, so you have
to go first, because I need to.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Fakay one my small celebration, because everything deserves to be
celebrated because we're just too girl. Is that I was
really productive at work yesterday and today, and like I
had zero meetings and I got so much done and
I was so productive. Don't get me wrong, I have
thousands of other things to do because it never everyone

(01:33):
loves to put shit on my plate, but like, guess what,
I don't know what I'm doing, so I don't know
what we're doing here.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I love when there's no meetings because then, like it's
less likely that more stuff gets added. I feel like
so many random things get brought up in meetings and
you're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I already have
a full slate already and you just took an hour
from me.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
But I got a lot of my bullshit done, Like
you know how you have other people's bullshit and then
you also have ome work. Like you get wrapped up
in meetings and you're like, tech, that's not my shit,
but you're making me do shit. All this shit I
got done was my shit. So now if you don't
get your shit done, maybe because of me. It looks
bad on you. You know, so all my ship's wait to go.

(02:12):
You're buttoned up over the fuck, y'all. I still don't
know what I'm doing. One day, I hoped again on
this podcast and be like, I understand my job. That
may never happen. It's been about a year.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I still know. That's all right.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I can only ask for so much.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Seriously, okay with yours. Today I went into the office
as well, and I walked out for like to our
cafe for lunch, and I honestly wasn't even hungry for lunch,
but there was so much.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Oh who's not hungry for lunch? I'm just gonna no. No.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
It was like twelve it was like eleven thirty, and
I'd had a bagel because there was like a bagel
in my office left over, and I was like, okay,
like I'll eat at like one o'clock. Oh my god, Alicia.
There was so much food from like meetings. I was like, oh,
good god, yeah, good ship was Portillo's. There was like
a Greek bowl, like Mediterraneum bowl, like all these ad ins.

(03:06):
I was like, I got some hungry no, and I
like start making this food again. I wasn't gonna eat.
I was gonna go sit down and be like you
and do my work. Then these other people came in
and spilled so much tea Alicia. I had a great
gab session, a great food. There was still some food
left over to brought it home. I don't have to
go grocery shopping for two more days.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Oh my god. Ten out of ten. We love free food.
We love gossip over free food. It was I love gossip.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Like somebody got drunk at a work event. Good gossip.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Whoa that is good gossip?

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Multiple times, like it was like out of work thing,
like out of town. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I was like, oh no, that's really good gossip because
we didn't have that gossip for a long time because
of COVID. But that was the best gossip because you
aren't I don't know now, but most of the times
you are friends with your coworker. So like I've been
a dot com here.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Six years, and then my two coworker besties have also
been there for like years, and now that we're back
in the office, like we know we know everyone, so
like if one of one of us will get it
at any point and then we just like you know,
text traio because you got to keep that all of
the teams. But we know everything to the point where
stuff happened last week and somebody called me and was like,

(04:21):
I know you'll know this, and I was like I do.
Let me pull up the notes app that I created
with all the notes.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Oh my god, work work. He's literally the best because
these aren't your friends, so like, who the fock cares?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
The closest people to me are my friends. So we
say everything to each other, but yeah, everybody will filter
it to one of us. Ten.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I love that. That's a good celebration. You're all down
in the dumbs. No, no, not here, not Hey, you.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Want me in the office, I'm gonna work my magic
all over the office.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Personality hires say what actually though, imagine another Every time
there's a new personality higher, I'm like die die.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I'm like, okay, hey, I'm your team captain, like welcome,
but like.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Don't know my team. Yeah, everything goes through me, and
I distribute as necessary.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I will tell you when and where we can be
our personalities.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
All over this offene hundred percent. All right, So we
get straight into news. I feel like there's a lot,
but also I forgot a lot.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Well, it's it's been a while. We know that it's
hard to cover everything that happened in the last like.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Eight weeks since, which we won't have to just know.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
It's I'm sure there's some things with It's like, oh
my god, I wonder what they'll say about this. I
don't know what happened, you know, eight weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Remember we probably talked about it. This one is old, though,
Let's start with something a little older.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Thoughts on the Taylor Swift album Oh.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Oh good, okay, certain strong listen.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I didn't hate it.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
I didn't like it. It just it didn't hit for
me in my The thing about Taylor Swift's agree about
Taylor Swift is that usually am growing up with her music.
This one, it just it didn't do much for me,
whether that be musically, lyrically whatever. Also, I don't need

(06:17):
to hear about Travis Kelsey's wang, like it's.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Just not on my degree on that.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I love that she's having tons of sex and he
has a giant dick ten out of ten. Put that
on a news article like, well, here's my thing. When
am I because this isn't really my thing? But when
will I ever need a song where it's like and
he's got a big dick, that's probably I might hook
up with someone who has a big dick. But I
want to listen about like it's just never gonna align.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I don't get it enjoy it, so like what do
I care? Like I Girley say it in a you know,
a quote, but like a whole.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Song that and then there was like there's another song now.
I was very like, iffy, it felt weird.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I hate that. I don't I listened to the whole
thing one time and when I don't know, so I
totally understand.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Again, I knew I wasn't gonna like it because she
called it like a glitter jel Pen album, and I
was like, fuck is that I'm not in a glitter
jel Pen move.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I ever, I asked, what what's kind of your vibe
with Taylor Swift? Though, like do you haven't like why
know we talk aerosrap, but like what are some of yours?
Because I think that also plays a part. I think
I really liked I don't know it can get a yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
She said this was gonna be like the nineteen eighty
nine and one other album.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
This is the my father of that thing.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yes, she but she was honest about what was about
to come out, and nobody fucking listened. I knew this
wasn't gonna be for me because I'm still in folklore
and evermore. And I love like I'm the poet now,
like yeah, like I I that's that's for me, and

(08:01):
that's where I'm at in my life, and that's okay.
But what I dislike about the discourse online is a
you can't just listen to it once in like form
an opinion. You don't know the lyrics, so you're not
gonna sorry it. But why does Taylor Swift need to
give you the music you want? She's putting out music
and you either want to listen to it or not,
Like she's not here to do what you random Joe

(08:22):
Schmoe in Middle of America wants right now agreed.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I it just didn't. It didn't hit for me personally.
Did you like any of the songs I liked Eldest Daughter?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Yeah? I did like that song, Alicia's an eldest Daughter.
If you guys don't know, by the way.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
I'veelt really seen. There was one line in that that
I was like, oh, I hate that line. I forget
what it was. But I did like the song that
I added it to my playlist. But that's the only
song I will say, this is just me the life
of a showgirl song that I am disappointed in music.
That was a Jonas Brothers song that she sampled.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Sabrina Carpenter was on it like I was ready for
like pop and like fine and like whoa.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Like nineteen eighty nine fun pop. This was I don't
know what it was. Shout out to Travis Kelsey. I
guess with this big wang, but it's just not it
wasn't for me personally. And maybe I'll get to wait
in my life where I do want to only discuss
football players, big wangs and on that. I will hit
up this album. But what was the other song that

(09:33):
I did you like any of the songs? What was
your hit?

Speaker 2 (09:36):
I loved like Feet of Ophelia, Oh that was a
good one. That was a good yeah. I would say
the start of the album like it started strong for
me and or whatever.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
That was good.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
A wish list I didn't like either Wishless and Wood
back to back.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I was like, yeah, what's crazy? Is I love. I don't.
I don't know musical elements. I don't know if it's
the bridge or like what these things are. But there's
some lyrics and wishless I do love so like it's
I mean, and this makes sense. What's made its way
to TikTok, Like the snippet of the like thirty seconds
to a minute, like those are beautiful. But I agree,

(10:13):
like the entirety of wish list isn't for me. Yeah,
but I like the sentiment of it, like, you know,
you dream all this stuff about your life and everybody
has these milestones and all she wants is you know,
I think the simple life, which a celebrity would like
one listen life.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah, and I get it, and we all know we're
big Taylor Swift lovers. However, I'm just iffy because in
today's day and age, to me, if you're on speaking
out against what is happening in the world and you
have such a platform, I just can't. I know that
it's not her responsibility, but also it is in like
a weird kind of way.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
No, but we all have a responsibility to speak out.
I don't think it's her responsibility to be on it
every day, but these are really really bad.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I just feel like I have heard from her. Yeah,
I feel like she's I mean ever since she was
photographed with those two mega guys. I'm like, no, I
don't know, stop hanging out with Brittany Mahomes. I get it,
but to me, you can't separate. I'm sorry, you can't
separate the friendship. I can't break bread with Maga. I'm sorry.
I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
And that is my stand. You know, like at your
fiance's place of work, which is the chiefs, you know,
like mingling with these people, but they don't have to
take her out to dinner to this level. A dinner
or two whatever. Fine, but yeah, they seem very close.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
I'm just questioning a lot of celebrities currently. It's not
just her. I still support her and I did listen
to her album, but I just hate celebrities right now, Like,
oh my god, I just hate them so much. It
would is sad.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
A lot of them eat the rich mentality right now,
Like I'm interested.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
I love when bad things happen to rich people all
the time, all the time. It doesn't matter if you're
beloved to me or not. If you are, you are
filthy rich. If bad things happen, I couldn't, I will
sit there with my popcorn. I'll celebrate a little. Maybe,
I don't know, depends if I'm benefiting from it or not.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Also good point, we'll see.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Okay, that was fun. Can I ask you a really
important question? Absolutely, are you in group seven?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
I had this on my list to Yes, Alicia, Group seven,
And don't worry, our podcast is too or podcast.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
If you're getting this, you're group seven.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, yeah, seven. I was so scared that if you weren't,
I wasn't. No, no, no, not that you weren't. But like, listen,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
What not this means, but we're all group I'm only
getting group seven content. I haven't even seen the other groups.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
I haven't either, and so many in one of the
comments of group seven said like, no, I did check
the originator of wherever this came from. And there are other.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Groups there are, I haven't seen a one. Everyone I
follow everything I scroll. It's just and I'm honestly really
taken a step back from the amount of time I
do spend on social media, which I'm very proud of myself,
but in the very so I didn't originally catch the
Original Creator.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
That's all I was right about is I didn't know
if you were getting it, you know.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
I originally just got, oh, yeah, did I tell you
about my mini social media break?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
No you didn't. But I just I don't know because
sometimes I don't spend a lot of time.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
You're right, I don't spend a lot of time in
the hour maybe half hour I allow myself on TikTok
a day.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Now.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Holy shit, I kept getting like, we're in group seven, right,
if you're saying this, you're in group seven. Well, and
I'm went, what the fuck is group seven? So I
went and looked and I was like, oh, this Original
Creator because I think it was one of those where
a man is like, let me explain it to my
chronically offline friend. And I got that video and he
was like, we're in group seven. And he's like, everyone

(13:46):
we love is in group seven. There's no maga in
group seven, he explained the Original Creator. I was like, oh,
I never saw that video, but I got that I
haven't seen that. It's just a guy, you know, those
guys that I know.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
I know, But what did he say? Like, I haven't
looked up at seven? I just accepted this face. Oh
he was.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Saying that there was a creator. I forget the fuck
her name, but she made like seven or eight different
videos and was like, if you're seeing this, your group one,
and I was like, if you're seeing this your group two,
if you're saying this, your group three, So then people
would be like like it kind of took off and
people started being like, are you in group seven too?
Or are we just like what? And then people started

(14:24):
to take and be like, I'm also in group seven,
and then I started getting group seven shit, and I
was like, amazing, because we think.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
The other groups are talking about it like we are.
We just think are like, is group seven the people
to talk about it?

Speaker 1 (14:39):
In a weird way? I feel like this woman is
a bot from TikTok and she basically has taken our
algorithms because there's too much fighting going on in TikTok.
And I tried to hear, if your group one that
is all the content you see, well you will never
see anything other than group one content, And then like,
I think we're being secluded.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
That's my districts in the Hunger game.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
Listen call me kriick Conover. I'm putting on my tinfoil hat.
That's my conspiracy theory. I do think though, from what
I've learned about Group seven, Group seven is liberal. There
is no maga. Good is good only the like the
happy place. It is young professional liberals who are trying
to fight the good fight and we're fucking tired. I

(15:23):
have not really seen any gen z. I think it's
mainly millennials, so I think it's just people we would follow, Okay,
it's us. It's I follow a few people and interact.
I mean not anymore so much, but I have interacted
with them, and they are Group seven, and I'm like,
I feel like it's just the people I would watch

(15:44):
anyway have ended up in this group with me.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Okay, I shot at Group seven, So welcome to Group seven, everybody.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
I guess I from what I've learned, no maga. Okay,
probably just millennials and we're just trying to fight the
good fight my group at first? Can I tell you,
because you know how I found out about it. I
have a friend who's a DJ. Long story. He posted
a video with his It was a video of him

(16:10):
like like from a flight, so he's like looking in
a sunset from a window and it was like, this
is for all group seven, and I was like, damn,
he board a group seven, Like he's at the end
of the fucking line. I thought he was literally like
shot out those of us who can't bring carry ons
or whatever. I was like yeah, But then I kept

(16:31):
getting it. I was like, why is this girl that
reports on like women's basketball fucking group seven? What was
that fucking meat? I kept getting it, and I was like, damn,
I'm in group seven. I'm happy. If you weren't in
group seven, I think we'd have to end this podcast.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I agree, because I don't.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Know what should you be getting on your tikta.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
That's scary, that's scary.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
I don't want to know. I don't want to know what.
So I've only seen people I love an adoor in
our group. I'm so much I'm pro group seven. I
love the people who are like, what do you think
the other groups are doing right now? And I'm like,
I don't know. I barely know what we're doing.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
You know when people are like, I don't know why
we're put into groups, but I'm just I'm.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Here here, I'm in no seven here, We're all in
the same. It almost feels like we're all in this together,
and it's just like twenty sixteen again when Obama was
president and we all we all just loved each other.
We're all just fun and gay in college, you know, yeah,
good hope. And then you know what I someone said me,

(17:35):
I'm a white zone stand for anyone who cared. But
someone was like, did anyone notice how for a hundred
years everything seemed to be fine? And then the Cubs
won the World Series in twenty sixteen, in the world
went downhill, and I was like, oh my god, the
Chicago Cubs caused the mess right now and I'll never
stop blaming that. Call me Kirk hang over with my

(17:57):
tinfoil hat, but that's because they one and what like
October and then by November we had a new fucking
president who doesn't have a real skin color, Like, what
are we doing? It's the Chicago Cubs. So I'm hoping
the Pope, being a white Sox fan, can turn this
thing arout the timeline, But he has a lot of

(18:17):
years to fix, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
You know, yeah, we can't ask for everything, but you
know what Jesus and miracles, like if you turned water
into wine. Why can't you turn America into the land
of the free again?

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Jesus did end up murdered, though, so I think his
story was a little rough. I know he saved us all,
but it doesn't feel like it right now.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Maybe going to hell. Maybe this Pope has to die
for the sins of America.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Did I tell you someone said my dad looked like
the Pope? Did I tell you that?

Speaker 2 (18:55):
No?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Someone in New York in Central Park when my dad
was visiting this summer went up to him and was like,
you look just like the new Pope. And my Dad's like,
that is so funny. I'm actually also from Chicago. And
this guy was like, you could literally be the Pope.
And then I did a side by side. I'll send
it to you. I did a side by side. My

(19:16):
dad does kind of look like the Pope.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
So now we jokingly make fun of call him the Pope.
Oh well, sometimes like he's really losing in fantasy football.
He's in last place, and I'm like, God's not really
on the Pope's side. It's like fucking sad, what's happening? Yeah,
it'll be like shut the fuck up, or oh my
jokes He'll be like, I just haven't been praying enough.
I've been dealing with you bitches or whatever he'll say,

(19:41):
and I'm like, but I said, for Halloween, which is
coming up, he should be the pope.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
I like that idea. I like that idea.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Giddy news the Louver heis hilarious. Let's discuss this is
the funniest thing that I've had in thirty minutes. I barely,
I barely.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Are you on team Heist or team Louve.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
I'm not on team Louver.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
What the fuck?

Speaker 1 (20:06):
I'm proist all, I'm pro Hoist. I'm pro hist. This
is the funniest crime. I love funny crime. One would
call it victimless. It is victims. We're stealing from the rich.
I love when bad things happen to rich people.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
I steal things from people all the time.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Also, the French aren't really known for being that great
of people. Why are we protecting this country?

Speaker 2 (20:27):
They have also stolen art, and my favorite joke is
that they're like, oh, it's okay, this will just show
up in the British Museum in like a month. Because
they also have stolen so much hard.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Ye sell it, sell it to them, Okay, I.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Will be sad. I will be sad if it gets
like broken down, and like I know it's going to
be broken down, but that does make me sad that
like the beautiful piece of jewelry will be destroyed. But
I get it, I get.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
It, Team Height. They can't just be walking into a
pawn shop with that shit the world that Yeah, okay,
So I again have just told I'm cutting back on
social media or trying I have only I caught the
tail end of this and spent all my hour that
I allow myself looking this up. Will you please give
me all the information you have and I'll tell you

(21:12):
if I know that or not.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yes, there's not a lot I forget when this happened.
But it happened over the weekend, like let's say, like
Saturday or Sunday, and at like nine in the morning
Paris time. These the heisters, the I don't even know
what to call them, my heroes, climb a ladder from
like a truck up to a window. Open the window,

(21:38):
the loop is open. There are tourists in there and
these people go into the room.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Wait, do we know window security on the loof? Couldn't
campy that much? If it's open.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
I mean they might have smashed it open, but either
way they get in. Wait, so there are people in
the loof and they're they're like tourists and people who
work there in the loof.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
So we'll just come in the window and you just
are there people in this room? Yes, oh hilarious. I
wouldn't say a thing if I saw it.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Oh, I'm sorry. In any robbery, I'm not gonna be like, oh,
please get out. I'm I'm gonna maybe walk away. It's
not my business, you know, not my business. One thing
I will say is the management of the louver terrible.
They're understaffed and so like this is obviously about to
lead towards this.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
No one better have lost their jobs. That's making minimal.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
People are leaving. So they break in and they steal
like six seven eight pieces and one of them they
drop on the way out a crown just tumble down.
But you know what, you got to get in and
get out. And it happened within like seven eight minutes.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Those some fast heisters.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
They go down the ladder with their goods minus one crown,
get on two mope heads and zip on out of there.
Then again there's tourists and people in the museum. The
alarms are going off that everybody needs to like leave,
and they're like trying to shut down the loop. And
I've seen tiktoks where.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
These they go off automatically no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Once they knew the heist happen, it's like there's an announcement.
It's like as if there's like a tornado warning, you know, Okay,
they're like saying, like like proceeed to an emergency exit.
Da da da da da.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
And I've seen a video of a girl in the
loop and again these people waited for hours to get in,
and this girl's like, I'm not fucking leaving. I waited hours.
And she's like, what is this noise? And this guy
jokingly says, oh, like somebody stole something, and they're just
like heyah, and everybody's in the comments like no, somebody
did seal something.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
The best would be if it's like I don't speak French,
I have no idea what this person's saying. And you
know it was in English.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
It was in English, So then they shut down the museum,
but nobody knows, so all these people are still trying
to come into the museum and they keep having to
turn people away because they fucking got broken into in
priceless jewelry.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Broad daylight, in broad daylight.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Broad daylight. Also, this isn't the first first time this.
I mean the Louver has been has stolen stuff, you know,
many times. Two years, but about forty years ago, almost
to the day, in the exact same window, there was
a heist.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Oh my god, happy anniversary. It's crazy you think you
would lack that window a little bit harder.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
It was like the Prince of the like French prince
or king's like sword and had all these diamonds around,
like the the like handle part, and it's never been found.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Whoa, yeah, good for those heisters. They got away with it.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
So it's like, how did you let this happen again.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
In the same window. That's since scalfaning up there, and
so they learned. I can't believe our parents have been
alive for two Louver heists. Yeah, heist too, that's a thing, Listen.
I love a high I am pro heist always. I
watched The Fast and the Furious. We're hoisted everything out here.

(24:58):
I love it. Support. That's so exciting to be a
part of this, to watch it. My favorite jokes have
been like, we have to call the pink panther to
solve the crime, and it's Steve Martin. That's hilarious. I
was crying laughing watching that. That's actually what I initially saw,
and I was like, why the fuck are we calling

(25:19):
Steve Martin to the loop? Oh? Man, the best rabbit
hole I've gone down.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
I saw a video of a girl in a sins
Burglar costume with them oh I saw that on top
and I was like, oh.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
So funny. People are honestly so funny. When you're being
a fucking racist and homophobic, people are fucking funny.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Hey. It takes me so mad that I'm not that funny,
you know, like I want to be that funny.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Well, you're funny in a different way that doesn't require
a videops. You're funny if we're having a conversation about it,
that's funny. This girl, we just see her video. We're like,
that's hilarious. And it's unfortunate because for us, we have
not been recognized enough for our conversations. They have been
recognized for their funny videos. It's upsetting. It's just the

(26:07):
way the world I have been recognized off my facial reactions,
so I guess people do find me funny, but I'm
just not.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
I'm just being me. I want to be funny because
I'm trying. I guess No, those people are.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
The words that's it's funny though, Like that's genius.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Good for it.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Plus, these people don't have jobs. They're influencers. They have
all day to think funny things. I'm at work. I'm
at work, not having fun How am I supposed to
be funny all the time?

Speaker 2 (26:34):
You know?

Speaker 1 (26:35):
But that's amazing pro heist listen. I'm I'm anti establishment.
The Loop unfortunately an establishment. My friend though, recently was like,
should we go to Paris? And I was like, I
don't think she knows about the Loop heist. And I
was like, yeah, yeah we should because we're not getting
to the Loo, but I want to pick outside of it,
being like I was there.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
But I saw those. My mom texted me about this
heist and she was like, I'm so glad we went
and saw the jewelry, like that was.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Amazing. I'm so bored and aren't musing. Sorry, I'm not cultured,
but I don't.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Like her there, Like if you know you like a
specific thing. You just got to go find that. The
lover said that there's something for everyone, like jewelry. It's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
They the heisters. There are things.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Jewels are still a lot, There's still more. Don't worry,
there's still some there if you're thinking about going.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
My family and I walked in, saw the mona Lise,
I went, that's it and we left.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
That's It's just so very validly was also stolen once.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Yeah, somehow we got her bag that though. Listen, I
get it. I don't like art. I just fold you.
I've never gotten the hype. She's just a girl, She's
just a white woman. Was just kind of smirking, though, yeah,
she's not having that pretty, Like, what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (27:47):
WHOA get off her back? Where are we judging women
based on their beauty?

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Right, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right. Well
she's that, You're right. It was rude, but I'm just
saying it. I think we could upgrade her. Okay, great,
any other ge have more?

Speaker 2 (28:03):
I have? No, that's all I have.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Oh really I have some Love Island news. Oh what
Taylor and Clark got engaged to me? No, it's on
your story and nice have videos. Yeah, they got engaged.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
When did this happen?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
I know, I saw it this morning and I wrote
it down. I've done very little research. But if you
right now go on your Instagram. Well you can't let
me go on my Instagram. I'm gonna go to Clark's Instagram,
which I looked up this morning because I saw a
video and her cap. There's a video of it, and
it says, when you hold yourself to a higher standard,

(28:40):
the right person rises and will meet it. We've been
official slash dating. Less about the title and more about
the gesture. And she has an engagement ring.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Dot mean push your head out of the way during
a video. And you said I've known him for like
three months. This one's mind forever. Why are we making
decisions like this?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Yeah, dude, Oh yeah, he posted about it too. It's official.
I pick you always. Oh that's funny. I picked Clark.
That's funny. Oh my god, I just can't.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
I feel like it's it has to be April first,
like this, This has to be a joke. This is insane.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Nope, they're engaged unless I'm being punked.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
But Alicia, I I literally when you said that, my
brain froze because there's no world that I thought you
were bing to say that they got engaged. Wait, wait, wait,
this has to be a joke. Wait the sign says,
will you be my bay? But she's wearing a ring.
This has to be that's just them being girlfriend and
boyfriend waiting your girlfriend? They became girlfriend boyfriend? Well did

(29:51):
they become exclusive in the villa?

Speaker 1 (29:54):
Wait, it's my bay.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
People would have texted me. I just know people would
have texted me. There's no way they're engaged.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
She commented on his video and said for everyone always
kissy faced ring.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Then someone else comments and goes, oh wait, I should
have read the comments says I thought you I thought
she was already your girlfriend. I'm lost, but congratulations. And
then someone said I thought you were proposing.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
They can't be engaged.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Okay, maybe he gave her a promise.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Win. I hate this so much anyways.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
But okay, sorry, I got punt.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
It's okay. I just this would be crazy if they
got engaged.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
Okay, if you go look on her story, let me
know if you also got punk, because this is this
is some punky shit. Yeah, but she's wearing a ring,
that's what did it for me because I thought he
was asking her to be his girlfriend. And then I
saw a ring, which the ring is not engagement level,
but it's a ring on your fingers.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
I mean, I still think this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
It is crazy that she's wearing a ring on her
marriage finger. That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Was it a selfie by chance? No?

Speaker 1 (31:07):
She like put her hand out and like.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Oh so we know it's the ring finger. Yeah, yeah,
that's fine because I was gonna say, if it's a selfie,
maybe it's flipped, you know, when it's the other hand.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
But that's all right me.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
It is just I almost had to be like, I'm done.
I'm done after today.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
It looks like what came from David Yeerman.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Oh okay, then it's their boyfriend and girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
I thought they were already boyfriend girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
I think they were just exclusive. I fucking hate all
these in between. I hate it so much. I find
it's so dumb.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
So sorry to everyone. I really thought this was funny though.
This was funny though that I point to you, and I
funcked myself.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Oh my god, that was so bad.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
I have some basketball news or would you like to
go straight into reading, watching, and listening? What do you
have more of because my basketball news can hold. It's
not that important. It's just some bullshit.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I would say, give me the best one news.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
Okay, So Wnba is over. Congrats to the Aces who won.
I did have to watch someone on the Mercury that
they were playing get a terrible concussion, and that like
me to watch.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
I know.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
But a lot of coaches have been let go, including.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
I've been dying for also podcasts to be back up
because I don't want to hear from anybody else but you.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Okay, Yeah, they let the New York Liberty let go
of their coach, which I think is bullshit because she
won a championship two or like a year ago. Yes,
I think that's bullshit. They all they.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Really were they bad this season where it's like a
terrible record or anything.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Okay, no, but can I give you my harsh opinion
that I said all season? Yes, So the New York
Liberty compared to a lot of other teams is fucking stack, dude.
There's not one bad player like a lot of other teams.
You understand why some people don't play. The New York
Liberty is not like that. Like all are pretty much
elite and then they continued to get elite players and

(33:02):
you were I swear to god, the whole league was like,
how do they keep getting these players?

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Right?

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Then a few players did go down with injuries. There
were a lot of injuries this year, but you would
think with the bench they hacked like we're all fucking elite,
Like what are we doing. I don't think the coach,
Sandy Browndello used her bench correctly, if.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
That makes sense.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
I think when everyone was out on injury, she was
less concerned with winning and more concerned with just like
getting through it until her players got back. And then
the minute her players were cleared, she was like, get
in there, play a full forty And it was like, no,
I think that's you're exhausting them. And then in the playoffs,
one of the main players, Brianna Stewart, she injured her knee.

(33:48):
She went down, she had to go like get figured out,
and a few days later she shows up with this
crazy as look embrace, like one of those high end
you don't get that unless you're like really injured and
you really have to play. And she played like a
full forty minutes and I was like, dude, you had
four players on your bench, you didn't even touch you

(34:08):
wonder you lost, Like your player was so exhausted and injured,
Like you never built up your.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Bench, like you had a good bench, but you never
like gave them playing time and got them in a
groove to be able to supplement when you're playing, when
you came back to help them when they can't play,
exactly what you wanted from them.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Yeah, it was exhausted. She had a lot of players out,
and she just didn't seem.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
To use coaching. Okay, I understand, Okay.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
So she was let go. And then the other coach
who I'm disappointed on was let go is Seattle Storm
coach Noel Quinn. She is one of, if not the
only black woman coaching in the league, and she got
let go by the Seattle Storm. Again, the decision, I
didn't totally understand. Noel Quinn's not known for using her

(35:00):
bench that well, but she uses it like kind of okay,
And she had good players. I think that these players
just didn't mesh well together, you know. And I think
Noel Quinn kind of made a few dumb mistakes, Like
throughout the season, I'd be like, why would you call
that player? Like why would why is this our decision?
Why aren't we calling a time out? Like, you know,

(35:20):
like she did frustrate me a little. However, it's one
of the only black women in the league, Like what
are we doing?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
You know? So she was let Oh.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
So then Dallas Wings let their coach go, which everyone
was thrilled about because everyone hated that page backers kept losing.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Did I thrilled about?

Speaker 1 (35:35):
Y'all though, need to know that this team is not
a team. This team's a fucking mess. There was no
way he was winning anything, like shot out page for
doing forty a night, but she's they're not winning shit.
And then yeah, so he was also let go. So
now we have five teams without coaches because it's those
three and we have two new teams. Right then, I
think Toronto picks up, which we call it picked up

(35:58):
Sandy Brondello, which I think is Genie. I think New
York should get Noel Quinn because I think she is
a good coach. But then Dallas announces their coach and
it's a weird white man, and everyone was like, why
aren't we hiring women? Like there are all these women
who have like played in the league, who like try
out to be coaches, and they never fucking make it.

(36:19):
Like Lisa Leslie is a very non name and she
is like not she got denied last year to coach,
and so it was like, what the fuck? Why are
we hiring these weird white men? And then it was
just outs today that another actually maybe someone else picked
up I don't know. It was announced today that there
was another white man who is going to coach in

(36:42):
the league. I can't even fucking remember which team it was,
but another white man. But this one's oh, oh dub wait,
Dallas got a weird white man. There's another weird white
man somewhere. It doesn't matter. There's two new white men
here that I don't need. I forget who the first
one was, Dallas was today weird white man. The other

(37:05):
one was a skinny, tiny white man. It doesn't matter.
But why are we hiring white men? Is the point?

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Stop?

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Start it out, get some help. You know, I don't
care about these white men, and neither she do.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
So there's just gonna be a lot of white men
and men hanging out. We couldn't even get to black men,
you know, like you can't or white women like there's
just you have to go all the way. Oh for
two on the white men, don't you whatever? So there's that?
What else? What else?

Speaker 3 (37:36):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (37:36):
I think there's gonna be a lockout. Really, I think
there's gonna be a lackout because CBA negotiations are due
on Halloween and we are like a week out and
there's no movement and and here's some t for you.
This is what we want. We want women basically for
in an exit interview, this woman in the FISA Collier,
she plays on the Minnesota Lynks. She created Unrivaled, the

(37:58):
off season league. Okay, and so she has you know,
there was a lot of like the WNBA doesn't want
the players playing and Unrivaled because that like jinx is
that I don't know what the fuck. But like NAFISA said,
like we offered the WNBA to be partners with Unrivaled,
then they denied us. So like we created our own

(38:18):
league and it's sorry where it's working and we pay
our players more. But like that's just how it goes, right.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Because this is mimicking what golf pros went through where
news was created. They want to get involved and then
it became so popular and so many players lacked and
if you make them choose, they will follow the money.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
They will choose. And this has been happening overseas where
players get paid like millions of dollars and then there's
a stipulation where they have to be back in time
for training camp and if they're not, they get benched
or suspended at certain amount of games. And the players
are like, well, we're not going to leave our fucking
overseas teams to come back and that dumb.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
The money I need to pave my life.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
Like what the fuck so issues, But NAFISA in her
exit interview basically said like, we are unhappy with what
the W is giving us. I have tried to talk
to Kathy about it. Kathy has said we should be grateful.
We should be like lucky, we should fateful. Basically, the
FISA brought up like a was like a thing where

(39:19):
she was like, like, what you're benefiting off these big
college names now that have made money off ANIL deals,
right like the Caitlin Clarks, the pagebackers like you as
a league have only grown because of those players, Like
why can't we then fight for better revenue share and
money and refs at this point because everyone's getting injured

(39:44):
so that like these players can grow in this league
with you instead of you just benefiting off of them.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
And Kathy was like, well too is before the Caitlyn
Clark can page, you know era. In this nil era,
you have the women who are the like the backs
of the actually the n W NBA, and they were
screwed over in college by not getting that opportunity. So
they've been taken advantage of buying institutions already and now

(40:12):
they're getting taken advantage of again by the W And
this league.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Truly is insafe, Like the amount of injuries and like
the no calls is kind of insane. Like I was
kind of like I don't because you want players. You
need players a lot. And like Nefisa got injured in
the playoffs and she was doing her exit interview because
like they lost then because all their players were fucking
injured and now she's sitting here. But basically Kathy, the
the commissioner, was like telling Nefisa privately. Nefisa said that

(40:42):
these players like Kaylen Clark should be even grateful that
she got a chance, and like they have a right
to use her name because she's choosing to play in
the league. So like whatever, but that doesn't mean you
should be great pay that this is a mutually beneficial
experience in business. So basically NAFISA so was like telling
everyone like, look, we will not back down. Like at

(41:04):
this point in time, most of the players have financial stability.
We have like the backings of these players who have
an eyel deals, who are willing to put in money
for unrivaled for athletes, unlimited for these overseas leagues. That
like we as a community now can all come together
and be supported, Like I know Paige has put a

(41:24):
lot of money in time and unrivaled as well because
she believes in it. And so DEFISA was like, we
did not plan on backing down what they counter with
because it was like the original offer the players countered
and then the league came back with something. What the
league came back with was an absolute like joke. It
was insulting, like none of the players are okay with it,
like all this shit, and was like we will not

(41:47):
we will not be signing that basically, and then all
the players you saw like a bunch of players just
like posting her speech and being like stand with fee,
go off, fie what a queen. Everyone calls her Queen
Fee like all this shit the.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
Place office, but everybody is making the like father figure
like video edits to. There's one one player in the
w NBA that people are making edits to, And I
was like, oh my god, this is so cute.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
But I don't know the way that maybe sent me
on next that you see it. But okay, Yeah, so
everyone was standing with the FISA. People were mad. Kaylen
Clark didn't comment on it, but it was before a game,
like for her team, and she was sitting out that game.
So I really do think it was more like she
just didn't want to like get involved until after the
game because it happened on a game day. But a

(42:37):
lot of other players were interviewed and they were like, yeah,
we stand with Fee. When she said was right, Fee
got real fined because you can't say that shit without
getting a hefty fine. But more like, I don't give
a shit.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
And she probably has the privilege to speak up and
take the fine where some other players may not. Yeah, financially,
Afford thought.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
Yeah, so that Kathy came back and was like, I'm
disappointed that feel like feels that way. I've reached out
so many times, and Fie came back and she was like,
we have a meeting, like we're gonna fix things. And
then Fie came back and was like, you forget Like
I run a league now, like my husband runs this
sleep while I'm busy playing, Like you don't reach out

(43:15):
to players. She's like, I got injured in the playoffs.
I didn't hear from you. When I had a baby,
I didn't hear from you when like this happened, I
didn't hear from you. And she's like, my husband reaches
out to every player that's injured. My husband always checks
in and make sure the players are like mentally, physically,
like stable enough to play in our league. Like Sophie
was like, absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
I love that. Like I run a league, I know
how this works. Ye, I manage this stuff. Walk you.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
Everyone was like go off Fee. There wasn't one player
who was like I disagree, No, ablutely not. So I
think there's gonna be a lockout, which is fine. I
support that. I'm I'm pro blackout.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
I'm pro shut it all down until you're gonna do
it the right way. I'm I'm done playing in this
mid like we're just gonna shit on people and not care.
Let it all burn.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
The NBA commissioner even said the players deserve more. It's hilarious.
Everyone hates a loser. Yeah, she used to be Deloitte CEO,
so she's one of those. Even I hate the rich.
Also though, on Better News, Angel Reese walked in the
Victoria's the Fashion Show.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Oh and Sody Lee Athletes to ever Walk and Genius.
They really should have these beautiful strong athletes in the show.
I really do believe. And I think they're only doing
this because what the world in the movement is going towards.
But I do believe Victoria's secret is trying to be
more like inclusive, and I think including athletic bodies and

(44:45):
like different body types is huge.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Yeah, I will say Angel Reese gets a lot of
hate that I'll never be on the bandwagon for. I
love her. I love her so much. She will never
do anything half assed. She started working with She didn't
work with a like a workout coat, because she's fit,
is is and she knows her body.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Speaking in a runway is so different, so.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
She worked with a runway coach. She worked with someone
who specializes in how to walk and heal. She worked
with like obsessed all these different people to make sure
she did a good job, because she's like, if I'm
gonna do it, I'm gonna do it correctly, and I'm
gonna do it right. And she was even like models
are an art form, so like, I need to take
this seriously. I can't just walk. She made it very
clear she didn't work but to lose weight. She just

(45:26):
worked with her own nutritionists because like she needs her
body to still be.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Absolutely what it is about changing your body, It's about
showcasing yourself.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
Yeah, so they were all bad ass. I didn't watch,
but I saw videos of my face.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
I saw videos.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Yeah, ten out of ten. Okay, that's on my wame.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
That's great, A ten out of ten.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Okay. Should we get to reading, watching and listening?

Speaker 2 (45:51):
Yes? Can I tell you I did finally read the
Two Good Girls Gut into Murder books.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
Yeah, because she texted me after the first one but
we were not recording.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
And well, you told me the second one was going
to be scarier, and it definitely was very creepy. But
I was most of the first book. I was alone
in the farmland of Italy in an airbnb, alone and
this is the worst time to be reading this book,
because every night I went to bed being like, if
somebody does choose to murder me tonight, nobody's gonna know.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
No, Okay, yeah, yeah, but you liked it.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
I liked it. I liked the books a lot. Hated
the TV show.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Yeah, and TV show isn't great, but I was. I
hated that they changed things so much.

Speaker 2 (46:36):
Yeah, it was unnecessary because you're giving it in a
longer form than the book is like needed, Like if
you read the book aloud, it would be like six hours,
so you had six hours to do this. Why did
you get to take out like important details?

Speaker 1 (46:50):
I hated that, And I thought the first book ended
in a way that you didn't need to sift. There
was no season two. You didn't need to set it
up like it ended. Fine, Yeah, okay, what'd you think
of the second and third books? Though a little I.

Speaker 2 (47:03):
Forgot that there's a third. Okay, I need to read
the third. The second book was crazier.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
That was second on a cliffhanger.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
That's why I I did question if there was a third,
and then the seconds like.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
I don't know where it's like unfinished business, is there?
What happened. What do you know, we're spoiling it.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
Okay. In the first book for anybody who didn't read
and didn't care, there was a murder or there was
a girl who went missing, and then the boyfriend like
confess quote unquote to it and then committed suicide. Is
what the thought was.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
It was cereal, it was it was the podcast serial. Yeah,
but it.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Turns out the boyfriend was murdered and the person who
thought like they killed the girl killed the boyfriend to
try to cover it up. But it turns out he
didn't kill the girl. The sister did. It was this
crazy thing that was amazing. Love.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
Yeah, did you get the twist? Because I didn't see
that at all.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
No.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
I thought the dad did it. And then when they
I was like saying, God, he killed the boyfriend for
no reason because he didn't do it, But I get it.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Yeah yeah, yep.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
And then the body was buried in the front yard
or whatever. That was great.

Speaker 2 (48:07):
No, it was in the being in farmhouse.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Oh, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right. Yeah, yeah,
because the sister pulled it over there. Why.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
I don't understand how that happened, but whatever. So then
the second book, she's obviously like a famous podcaster. Now
her parents are like, you're done with this. The boyfriend
who her parents.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
Are good parents. Her parents are some.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
Good people, I know. But at the same time, if
your child finds their like profession, let them let them
go off.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
Oh my god. They were like, no, you're just inviting danger.
Our dog already died.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Stop. So she's obviously successful. And her best friend's brother
goes missing, and I was like, Okay, this town is
so fucked because everybody's Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
Her best friend's brother does.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Go missing, and I was like, this guy's dead for sure,
like's just get to it, like he's he's dead, Like
when when's the body going to be shown? Turns out
he's not dead. He was talking with a catfish on
lane and then he like ran up to two people,
said some random thing to them, and then one basically
abducted him because it was the person he was looking for.

(49:11):
And that person was a son of a murderer, and
the son helped the dad like fire victims.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Okay, okay, okay, yes.

Speaker 3 (49:22):
But then they kill him.

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Okay, okay, Yeah that was sad.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
Yes, set and set the building the old farmhouse, the
four old farmhouse on fire and this girl has to
drag out this guy who was stabbed to death, and
then the couple who did it ran away.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Yes, okay, yes, now it's all coming back because the
newspaper writer was in hiding as the sun because technically
he didn't he was almost coldhorse to help murder.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Yes, he did say it wrong and he served time
and then when.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
He got out he didn't want to live. He's inn
got out a dread protection.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
The government, yeah, put him in witness protection, which I
agree with, like him what happened?

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Wait, remind me though, I know the brother, the girl's
friend's brother was talking to a catfish.

Speaker 2 (50:16):
Who did the catfish end up?

Speaker 1 (50:17):
It was the wife of the couple, the crazy couple, right,
because well it was.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Like mainly the guy. It was mainly the husband because
the husband's sister was one of the victims. And then
the wife would serve as the voice on the phone
when the brother called.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
This couple moved next door because they were like, this
girl can solve crimes on her podcast.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
And even for her.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
But they had a feeling that the guy they ended
up trying.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
Yes, a part of it right, helpful? No, they moved
there they heard on a message like on Reddit message town.
The second book was just so unhinged because there were
so many.

Speaker 1 (51:00):
I didn't feel like an episode of Criminal Minds where
you're like, what is happening?

Speaker 2 (51:04):
I knew that guy was involved somehow. The minute he
chatted with her on the porch. I was like, there's
something going on in neighbor. He knows something, but I
don't know what. But I thought he just knew a
piece of the guy that went missing, like the time
game or something. But so I'm waiting for something to
happen with him. But no, I was not ready for the.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
Second The second book ends with that couple like running away,
and the main girl, Pip is just basically like sad girl. Right,
She's like, fuck, yes, yes, but it was a third book, okay,
but it doesn't end sad book.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
I don't think he was showing up in My Little Thing.
So because it took me a few weeks to get
the second book, and so it hasn't been that long
that I it's probably been like two weeks since I
finished the second book.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
Well, let me know you. The third book is also uninge,
but it takes all like the Little all the little
like ends and ties them up. It is it is
the Okay, So the Stacking Book is, basically, how I
describe it, an episode of Criminal Minds if you're watching it.
The third book is an episode of Criminal Minds if
you were the victim and Criminal Minds. Like it's the

(52:13):
craziest shit I've ever read.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
Okay, is there another death?

Speaker 1 (52:16):
Yeah, but it won't like break your heart the way
like the newspaper guy kind of was sad.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Yeah, that would made me sad. Is is there another
death in this town? Because I hate when it becomes
so unrealistic. Also, I hate that they're blaming Pip for
like all these deaths. She's not committing them, she's trying
to solve them.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
She might in that third book. You have to read it,
you have to get it. It's great, Okay, it's it's
justified murder. I say, I agree that, although I have
to say in the third book, I get I have
to say I get Pips thinking. But the whole time
I'm just going tell an adult like the whole time,
I'm just like, I get that, But I too, I

(52:58):
think if the first situation happened to me today, I
think I would react the same way she did, so
I can't even be like, it's a kid. I think
you're just hyperventilating and you're like, oh my god, I
can't tell adult. It's really good.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
Are you reading anything?

Speaker 1 (53:13):
I have another book for you once you're done with
with this. Okay, good Girl's guy Murder. It's another it's
another murder podcast book. Weirdly and now I like these.
I read it quickly, so it's called Listen for the Lie.
It was really good. I read it when I went
to London all by myself. All I did was read.
And this is basically like, in this small town in Texas,

(53:37):
there is a murder. Right, this girl in high school
probably college, she dies, and everyone immediately goes to her
best friend who was with her and was like, how'd
she die? And the best friend's like, I don't know,
I can't remember. So everyone's like she killed her, right,
So then this girl is like, I really can't remember.

(53:57):
I have no idea what the fuck happened. But they
can't prove it. There's literally no evidence that she killed
the friend. But the whole town is like, she totally
killed the friend. So she leaves the town and then
her life in La sucks, and she ends up back
in this town, right, and everyone still thinks she murdered
this girl all years later. But now there's a guy

(54:18):
who's in town and he's like, I'm doing a podcast.
I actually want to find the truth. Similar to Pip.
He's like, I've already solved an unsolved murder before. This
is just the adult time. But he's like, I've solved
a murder on my podcast already. I'm here to try
and solve this one. And she basically at first is
like I don't want anything to do with him, but
then is like, I need to know the truth because

(54:39):
I don't actually know if I cared for her or.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Not I did kill her, and all right, or I
can finally clear this up.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
And the best is she asked the host and she's like,
do you think I did it? And he's like, honestly,
I don't know, but if you did, I'm gonna find
out and turn you in. So let's figure this out.
And she's like, all right. So she works with this
host to try and remember piece of the everything together
and it's really good. It kept be really hooked.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
I love that. It kind of reminds me of the
show we were liars. I don't know if you watched it.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
Oh, I've heard of it. I want to read the book.

Speaker 2 (55:08):
Yeah, it's that has the same like memory fog type
of thing, and like you don't know what happened like
last summer, and she's like slowly like putting pieces together
as the summer goes on, like that year.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Ooh yeah, no, it was a really good one. So
I recommend that to you. Yeah, ten out of ten.
And now I'm reading a book. Let me tell you
about the book I'm currently reading. It's called This Is
This is How It Always is or something. Yeah, this
is how it always is. It's very interesting. It's basically
about this family, the whole family, mom and dad and

(55:40):
five boys. Right, I'm going to finish it tonight, so
don't worry everyone, I hope. Basically when he's a child,
the youngest boy starts like wearing dresses and wanting to
play with dolls, and like the parents basically are like
all of our kids are a little fucking strange. So
like this is the least of our worries, Like we
want kids like hop in glue, Like we don't have time,

(56:02):
Like when you have a house of like five boys,
and you're like working professionals.

Speaker 2 (56:05):
You're like there's always something.

Speaker 1 (56:07):
Yeah, you want to wear a dress to school, like
go for it. I could care less, you know, and
like slowly. They live in Wisconsin, so like they get
weird looks, but they're like you try having five boys,
like fuck off, you know. And this boy is like, well,
I want to wear like a bikini, and it's like
slowly escalatees. But the parents are very like whatever, you're thirty,

(56:27):
you're three or five whatever. But then the mom is
an er doctor and she sees like a gunshot wound
to a trans woman one night, and she's like, oh
my god, we don't know like what our child really
is right now, but like if that would happen to
my child, oh my god. And it's just family's story

(56:47):
of like figuring out of where they're living is safe,
like trying to figure out what their child identifies as,
trying to like figure out if they need to like
change their lives. It's all like the brothers and their
involvement like really is well done, where almost every paragraph
is like someone else's point of view, but it like
flows really well. It's not like it's all third person,

(57:07):
but it'll be like, yeah, mom was thinking this and
blah blah blah, and then like brother popped in and
was thinking and you It kind of flows really well.
But it's interesting because like I would like to think, like, Okay,
if my kid came to me and they were like
I'm trans I'd be like, yeah, great, and we would
just like it would be this thing. But it is hard.
I think when a three year old just wants to

(57:28):
wear dresses and you're like, well, we don't know, you know,
because there's they don't even know walk that path of
like yeah, who are you?

Speaker 2 (57:37):
Like, it's it. I think we don't ever verbalize how
like every child has to figure out who they are
as they grow up, but in a world that loves
labels and other people want those labels, like trying to
figure out who your child is with them and verbalizing
you yeah.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
And it's almost like they do end up moving to Seattle,
and then it's like do they tell people that this
actually isn't a little girl, it's like a boy in
a dress, you know, because everyone thinks this is just
their their daughter. So it's like kind of what do
we do in that scenario? And it's like the I think, listen,

(58:14):
I know very little about the situation. I've never been
in it. I would immediately be like, we're as a
family all going to therapy, like we just have to,
we need help. But the parents almost do like too
good a job of like supporting who this child is
to the point that they're not even thinking, like like
they're now have to face like puberty because that's not

(58:35):
gonna stop. This is going to turn into a boy,
like the body is turning. But the parents are like
it's fine, to the point that their child is like
I'm a girl with a penis and that's not weird, right,
But like to the parent that was like she doesn't confusing, Yeah,
the daughter doesn't get that her body is not a

(58:57):
girl's body. Yeah, like a penis not a girls how
their penises, you know, like biologically girls don't have penis.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
She won't have a period as her peters are talking
about getting.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Peers and like one day she's not gonna have boobs
and she's gonna wonder why because she doesn't think that
that's different. But like her parents have almost done too
good a job. And then it's like when do we
tell people that like actually because the other thing is
that I've learned from this book is you put your
kid on hormone blockers. I think if they identify as

(59:28):
like a different gender than their body, but the hormone
blockers block everything, so you stay a little child mind
and body. So while all your friends are now going
through puberty and like liking boys and like being moody,
she wouldn't feel that she would still play with dolls

(59:48):
and love her parents so much. Right, So it's like,
even hormone blockers can't be a solution forever. And then
do we go straight into sex change? And then what's that?
Like we have to tell people? When do we tell people?

Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
It's so he's in an idealistic world, we'd all be,
you know, whoever we want to be, ya, you know,
all parts everything you get, address how you want. We
don't have to openly discuss it. But there are outside
factors that inhibit that, like them have you move like
they're scared of, like for their child's safety, And so
just moving alone is a huge step. And at every age,

(01:00:21):
your child is already growing up and changing, and so like,
how do you manage that with every individual child in
their needs?

Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Yeah, it's also interesting too, because you see like the
brothers points of views. So like one of the brothers
was really sad to move, and then he was in
a bad mood, but his parents were like, he'll get
over it because they had bigger fish to fry with
their daughter. But then this son is now growing up
to be someone who's thing, so they think, well, yes,
So then he has a lot of issues in school

(01:00:49):
and his parents. Now the issues he have are very specific,
but then his parents are like, oh my god, he's
a bigot, like he hates gay people because like all
these bad things happen because his sister is part of
this community, which isn't actually what happens, but like the
way it looks is pretty bad. But they don't take
the time to talk to him and be like, what's happened?

(01:01:10):
Like everyone they're like, they're just because I was like,
why aren't we all going to therapy? And then it's
also like, okay, these her four brothers make new friends
and her their friends are like, why did you move?
They can't say because they haven't told their community in Seattle.
They can't say, oh, my sister is trans so we
moved to more. They have to lie now to their friends,

(01:01:31):
and the parents are just starting to realize, like years later,
how this big family secret has like affected everyone and
it's no one's fault they do rightfully, you did get
mad at the present, yes, but it's like it affected
everyone absolutely, and it's no.

Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Pure decision, Like you're always going to cause a little chaos,
but how can you inflict the least amount of damage?
But you were only looking at the most pressing issue,
which needed a lot of attention. But that can happen. Wow,
what an interesting book.

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
It is really interesting. I don't want to spoil too much,
but I am going to talk about it. I still
think everyone should read it because it really is interesting.
But I'm at the part now where like the community
has found out about being trans basically, and a lot
of I think the parents are like fine with it,
you know, it's not a thing. But her best friend
is super upset and she that she's had when she

(01:02:23):
was five, right, But when Poppy's like, do you hate
me because I have a penis? And my friend's like, no,
I hate you because you because I die to me,
and she's like, and we told each other everything and
in one respect, like you understand this ten year old
wasn't gonna she believed she was a girl, Like she
wasn't going to tell you here's my secret. I have
a penis, Like she almost unknowingly did this. But the

(01:02:45):
best friend is also ten, and she's like we were
each other's secret keepers. Like I would have still loved you.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
That's so hard because at like your ten year old age,
you're like I do everything.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
But it's like, you know, and her parents knew, the
friends parents knew, and like, which is good, which like
you know, they try to sit down with their ten
year old, but their ten year old literally was like
I still hate her because like she lied. I hate
her because she lied. Like yeah, it's way deeper than
like that. So now Poppy the girl is like she

(01:03:19):
has shaved her head and she's only wearing boys clothes
now because she's like I want to be a boy.
It's very she's like I'm stuff being a boy. Basically
I have to be. It's like very hard, and yeah,
the brothers are trying to help her, but it's just
it's hard for the community because now the brothers are
getting teased too, and it's like this big Yeah, it's
a really interesting book.

Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
Wow, Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
It's really interesting because it makes you think like, yeah, Okay,
if this was my kid, it'd be fine. I would
accept them. And it's like, but you can overly accept
your kid in the world. That's like not ready to
accept them, and then what's not.

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
Letting them be whoever they want? Amazing holding on to
the truth, Like if you you shouldn't feel the need
to announce things, but when you don't share things, it
becomes this big like yeah, Bob, that held over you.
And then once you finally release this information, yeah, people
feel like you've been withholding for so long and it's like,
why do I have to share it? Like what does

(01:04:14):
that mean? I feel like it just shows the craziness
of society and how we interact with people and how
much effect it can have.

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
I'm gonna blow your mind even more because they did
meet with a counselor when they first moved and they
were like, we feel like we should tell people that
she's like a trans girl basically, and the counselor was like, well,
why would you do that though, Like do you ask
other parents like what kind of genitalia their children have?
Like it doesn't matter if your girl's identifying as a
girl like that's which I agree with, which I agree.

(01:04:44):
So it is this weird like line of why I
don't tell society is there?

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Like when do we tell?

Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
When do we share?

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
So no one's like coming out, Like why do you
street people not have to come out? Like why do
only queer people have to come out? Like it's it's
that along those same lines of why are things for
what society is considered normal? Yeah, like that's the baseline,
but why does it have to be that way? And

(01:05:12):
like who shares things and who does it?

Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
Okay, Meredith, what are you watching?

Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
I watched the entire season of Love Thy Nator and
I know you hate Brooks Nader with the the Gleb stuff,
but this is a masterpiece of reality TV. I'm not joking.
They are the like early Kardashians like level of like
Faemily dynamic. I love it, and this is something you'll

(01:05:39):
hate in like the same way I do. Obviously, the
breakup of like Gleb was captured on the show and
at the end of every episode, every single episode, they
put a statement out that said, like Gleb denies all
these da da da da da, And I was like,
when have you ever seen on a reality TV show
when like bad things are said about someone, there's a

(01:05:59):
whole like announcement that says, like they deny whatever whatever,
unless it's like some like murder documentary. I realized it's
because of the ABC Disney like family. They're protecting Glebe's
image because of Dancing with the Stars, and it's all connected,
so like they want to protect their other entities, which

(01:06:20):
is insane.

Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
What would Bleb do so a fucking asshole?

Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
Well yeah, but in like I think it was episode one.
He had come for like a day when he was
like on break from the Dancing with the Stars tour
and then had to fly like the next day, and
so he flies out and leaves his phone in the
car and the driver brings it back to her house
and she gets it, and for like hours, her and
her sisters are trying to like unlock it. They get

(01:06:51):
it open, and they like see all this stuff. They
like were in a room, like the cameras were.

Speaker 1 (01:06:54):
Not don't trying to unlock it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
She had a feeling she like wanted to go through it,
all this stuff, and so she says that they that
he cheated on her. A bunch of times and he
denies it and then like that's when, like in March,
it insued the like back and forth in the press,
like all this stuff. I remember when I was going down.
It was wild that every single episode had had this

(01:07:19):
disclaimer every single.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Time, protect your entities. Whatever, do I have to watch
the show? Maybe it'll be one single wonder.

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
No, no, it will not, Alicia, the it is masterpieces.
I'm not joking. I don't care if they're acting or
what they're doing, a good job. There's four sisters and
they're living in a like town home or whatever in
New York together. The sister drama is amazing because you
can just tell the birth order, like matters. Two sisters
went to college, the oldest and youngest like went into

(01:07:49):
like Brooks went into modeling, and then the youngest went
straight into modeling, and so like some of them have
like spent time in New York together while others were
at school. It's like you can just tell the dynamic
of like which sisters the black sheep and on the
outs and like which ones aren't and who's closer, and
like I love a good family dynamic. And their dad
is so funny. He's just a guy from Louisiana who

(01:08:12):
just like doesn't want his daughter's tits out, and he
got four daughters and every daughter is just like this
smoke show Bananza and he's like, what is happening?

Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
Like, why am I just Terrible's good? I gotta be honest,
I'm terrible. I'll think about it, love it, I'll think. Okay, Well,
here's my thing. I really haven't been watching anything as
of lately because I don't think I have time. I
think I've just been like really busy, yeah, or like
it was Quarteretan, so I was working a lot. But yeah,

(01:08:42):
I haven't really. I mean, besides, like my Bravo shit,
I watch like during work because shout out Bravo. So
should I put this at the top of my list?
If you've been.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
Watching nothing, don't are you watching Live the Real Housewives
at all? Like Salt Lake City?

Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
I haven't even had time for that.

Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
Alicia, you need to put that at the top of
your list. But all I have to say is, I
know we both love Lisa Barlow, but this is her
ta n. Yeah, I'm because I'm watching Salt Lake City
and I'm watching OC and I had this epiphany recently
because this week on Salt Lake City, Lisa has a

(01:09:17):
meltdown when Heather tries to be like, hey, you have
done things too, Lisa, like greeks out and.

Speaker 1 (01:09:22):
I've seen part of it, yeah, part of people to.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
Me all this stuff, And I realize Lisa and Tamra
are this same this season, like if she tries to
talk to them at all, they become so emotional that
their emotional outbursts becomes the priority versus somebody being honest
with them, and it's so frustrating. Like on OC, people
told Tamara that, hey, I don't really trust you, like

(01:09:47):
you tend to dig up dirt and take down your friends,
and like, am I going to be the friend that's next?
Like you can't hold anything as a secret, Like I
can't tell you anything that would really really like mean
something to me. And she has this whole outburst and
wits for the third time this season on OC.

Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
I can't with her. I can't. I did watch part
of Salt Lake this week or like no, just in general,
it pisses me off because while it plays while I work,
it always I have to skip an episode because it's
fucking watch what Happens live.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
I think they should tee it up, you know, like
they're like, you should watch whatever. They should have two
options of watch the watch what Happens Live, like they
should connect them. But they got to stop putting it
as if it's a real episode because the number.

Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
That's what pisses me off, because the numbers are off
because I'll be watching and then watching watch what Happens Live,
and I'm like, that is not work stuff for me.
I need to hear women arguing. I have been watching
a lot of Below Deck though, just because I don't
know they it could always be worse. I could be
serving rich people on if you've charted yet, that's just
so miserable. Yeah, but I have to say if you

(01:10:52):
need a Below Deck season below Deck down Under season
three is in to the point that I stopped what
I was doing today hand over mouth was like, oh
my god, someone saw me and went what and I
was like, it's my show. It was shocking.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
It was like no, no, no, just prop up, No, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Just my show. It was insane, dude. These people are
really crazy. No, the crew, the crew's crazy, dude. There
is not one bad episode. I think it was episode ten.
I was literally just like I can't believe this is
like hetting on. I can't believe it was the perfect storm.

(01:11:39):
Oh it was like one of those reality moments that
you're like, it couldn't get more perfect, y'all, couldn't be
drunk ard doing the most perfect. We have one person crying.
We had one person like a sleep. We had another
person who was trying to calm down the crying person,
but the other two that were trying to call on
down and said you need to go, you're being the
problem because they had all gotten in a fight. We

(01:11:59):
have one girl who's in the hot tub with her
or I pot in we like whatever. And then we
have one drunk girl looking for her man and then
she finds the wrong man but gets him better than that.
It was like the perfect storm. And then the guy
walks in, like you couldn't write this bullshit. Two of
people got sent home the next day. Like I was
sitting there like, shit, is.

Speaker 2 (01:12:21):
This a life season?

Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
No? I saw it on. This is how I got it.
I was on a Delta plane from New York to
Chicago because I had a wedding this past weekend, and
I said I just want to fall asleep. And I
was like they got Below Deck seas in three whatever.
I haven't seen it. It got I didn't sleep at all.
I was like hooked. I was huoked. The chef's crazy.
She's making everyone cry, but the bosun's making everyone cry

(01:12:45):
more so, like that's the person we go for. But
now that he's gone, what are we doing with the chef?
It's crazy, there's mean girl politics, it's insane, it's insane.
What's happening? You have to so it's Below Deck down
Under season season three a masterpiece, if you will.

Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
I don't ever have.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
I don't know what's happening. I know at work today
I just had a fully pause. I started laughing at
something too because I was like, that's insane. But that's all.
I'm just watching that. I watched a little bit of
Salt Lake I watched. I don't think I've watched OC
in a while, but I go back sometimes I need
a break. Yeah, that's about. That's about it. I think

(01:13:27):
are we watching anything else? Did you see that neighbor
documentary on Netflix? I started it, but I think I
need to I started during work and I need to
clock in. Okay, it's called I Think the Perfect Neighbor.
You have to go with me. It's a full documentary
only on police body footage, camera footage.

Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
That already sounds scary.

Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
Surprisingly, the police don't do everything wrong in this, just
a little bit just what you would expect police to
do when they fuck up the investigation. You're like, how
could we But they actually don't. They're not the one
shooting anyone, which is crazy. But go with me on this.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
I know it's an incident just from the body cam footage. Yeah,
and it's not like the police doing something wrong, just
being terrible at the dogs, Like, yes, it's feel like
I'm beating somebody.

Speaker 1 (01:14:12):
No, it's this area in Florida. Basically, it's like this
neighborhood that has a lot of kids and all the
kids play outside, right, sounds fine. There's this fucking neighbor,
Susan or something like that. She across the street. Hates
hearing the kids, hates when the kids get near her truck,
hates when the kids are in the lot next door,

(01:14:33):
and that she doesn't own. Right, so she keeps calling
the police on these kids to be like the kids.
The kids are trespassing, the kids are being loud, they're
threatening me, they're putting their dog in my truck and
all the time the police show up to the point
that they're like we've been here before, and they ask
like the neighbors and the parents and whatever, and the

(01:14:54):
parents are like, she did it again. The kids are
fed up. They're like we're just throwing the football outside
and the police or even like we would rather you
be outside than like on TikTok, so like you guys
are just kids. It's okay. Like the kids are like,
we're eleven, we're just riding bikes and she gets mad
at us, like like like it's crazy. The adults are like,

(01:15:14):
she yells profanities at our kids because it's heavily black kids,
and then like this white woman is yelling racist things
at them, and like whatever, long story because this was
a real life case so you could look it up.
There is an incident and one of the moms goes
over there to like talk to the neighbor and is
like like, there was an incident with a kid, and

(01:15:34):
then the lady Susan was like go get your mother,
and the kid's like okay, So it was like mom
Susan's like fucking yelling again. So the mom goes over
there knocks on the door and Susan shoots her.

Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
She dies.

Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
Oh so the police are called again for like the
eightieth time, but it's now a murder. And I haven't
gotten to this part because I was like, I feel
like I'm gonna need to clock in for this. They
have like the kids raw reactions on these body camp.
I think it was the family who said release the
footage because they want everyone to know how terrible this

(01:16:08):
woman is. And I'm like, this is a real thing
in particularly black communities, and it was a black woman
who was shot, which is also not great. Right, So
the police like, I'm like, what the fuck this old
fucking hag is now shooting our community. But where they
fumble up is they don't immediately arrest her because the
lady's like, it's self defense. She was attacking me, she

(01:16:31):
was on my property.

Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
But you still have to be taken in for like questioning, Like, yeah, arrested,
but they should be held.

Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
They fumble, but they do in the end get her,
and she's in jail right now. No no, no, she's
she's not running anywhere, but no, they do get her.
So she's in prison now, but she is hated. Do
you know the other lady on the Netflix documentary with
the the one with her cyber Yeah, the cyber stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
I remember. I didn't watch it, but I basically.

Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Saw, you gotta watch that one's crazy, dude. I forget
what it's called on Netflix. I'll look it up, but
it was basically like, this woman catfished your daughter's boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Yeah, so okay, because I kept seeing the reactions of
like people watching the show with their like parent or
somebody else and like waiting till like they saw that
it was the mom that did it, and people were
flipping out.

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
So the one I just told you about is called
the Perfect Neighbor. That one was insane. I have to
sit down and watch the whole thing because I really
want to clock in because a lot of it is
like you have to kind of see the body cam footage.
You can't just like there's no interviews. The other one, god,
I don't even remember, but it was, yeah, the fucking
lady catfished her daughter's boyfriend and called her call her

(01:17:48):
daughter that she's like not big enough. Ho is so
fucking weird, dude. But everyone was saying, like, you know how,
she was our number one un of me now it's Susan. Now,
Susan has taken over these These people aren't in group seven,
is all I know. I don't know Susan. She didn't
make the plane, she was not in any group.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
She's not any groups behind.

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
No fuck this woman. So I'm gonna watch that because
I think it deserves to be watched. Yeah, wild, Okay,
just had to share that. Everyone go watching you talk
about it? Okay, are you listening to anything?

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
I've got Kevin Federal Lines audio book in my ears,
on TikTok and Instagram daily.

Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
That would honestly be my thirteenth th reason Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
What pisses me off is is that man put twenty
five chapters in his book, So I decided to combine
some and it's he's he's pissing me off already, Like
you're already mattrash on Brittany, like get the fuck out
of here.

Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
But it's a whole bunch of nothing out of that
man's mouth.

Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
I also didn't know that he had six kids, so
that was a shock to hear that he like had
a baby mama had one kid basically a bandon them,
but then found out baby mama is pregnant again. And
jets off to Europe with Brittany. I'm like, you're a
horrible human being aside from the Britney stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
Yeah, I you know, you never forget the first man
you hate, and mine had to be Kevin Frederick. I
can't think of anyone else it would have been. Yeah,
I hate him. Of such a Brittany girl man, Such
a Brittany girl.

Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
Her book because I need to.

Speaker 1 (01:19:19):
I hate her truth Free Britney. She's free, well is she?

Speaker 2 (01:19:28):
I mean she's free from her father, but like, leave
her alone.

Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
She's not free from the demon. Brittany alone. What was
that meme where he goes leave Brittany alone she? Oh
my god, what was the end of that meme? Remember
it was that famous guy on TikTok. Oh my god.
You don't know the leave Brittany alone. You're lucky she
performed for you people or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
I've never seen that.

Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
Oh my god. It was this YouTube video where this
guy I think it was a guy.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
It might have been, doesn't matter a person, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (01:20:02):
I don't know how they identify it made a Oh
it's a woman. Sorry for Kara, Sorry Kiara, but she's
basically crying in this video and she's like, leave Brittany alone.
It's like a five minute video, but the one that
went audio is leave Brittany alone. You're like, you see
something for you people or something like that. I gotta
get the phone quote.

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
Oh my god, I'll have to look that up.

Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
Yeah, it's like this woman.

Speaker 2 (01:20:24):
You know this. Okay, okay, okay, I know, but I
don't know the video. I don't know the origin of memes.
That'll be like a class one day is like the
origin of memes and viral like sounds and stuff like that,
Like that'll be crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:20:37):
I'm mostly sad that, like will never I hope there's
a pop culture like class one day. You know. It's
just like.

Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
Already are some, but not to the like historical level
that there will be in the future.

Speaker 1 (01:20:51):
We could teach it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:53):
I don't know if I could, and I wouldn't want to.
I would want to take it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
I think I could teach it. I think I know
too much. I for someone was like not that much
online anymore. I somehow still end up in group seven
and know about the loop, like I'm up to date.
Maybe I know it's happening.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Maybe maybe we need to do a mini series of
your breakdown of iconic pop culture moments.

Speaker 1 (01:21:12):
Oh, I would be happy to any any time.

Speaker 2 (01:21:16):
About it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:17):
I'm not really listening to anything either. I have my
podcasts called Sue's Sue's View, Sue's Bird's Eye View, it's
super Bird. She just interviews basketball players. I also have
been listening to a one Aisy Funds podcast because I
am like interviewing. I skip around though if we're not
interviewing someone, I don't care, or if we're interviewing a chef,

(01:21:40):
I don't care. For the most part, it's pretty not there.
It's getting better, I will say it's getting better. I
understand why we have this host, and it's not easy.
Asy I know how to host a podcasts. This host
really does a lot of the heavy work. I have
to say. The most interesting one is she got her
coach on there, which is crazy. Sue Bird was like

(01:22:01):
the original Yukon icon and like the two thousands, and
he refused to do her podcast, but did Asy so
Aisy his favorite child. We think, yeah, yeah, but that
was interesting to hear about Gino a little bit because
I know very I mean, I just know him as
a scary basketball coach. But that was fun. However, everyone's
like one his page coming on. There was an internet
rumor that they broke up.

Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
There was told me about ohit, no, that was just
that the page was cheating.

Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
Yeah it was a cheating or yeah. Yeah, but there's
a big rumor. There's a big rumor still going around
that they broke up because they haven't been seen with
each other. Page season did end a while ago, but
she has not made it to Connecticut to see Asy. Don't.
They're fine. And then the other thing is Asy did
not post for Page's birthday, which was I don't know

(01:22:49):
this week or something. Yes, from my I don't. From
my understanding, the internet was very upset about this.

Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
I think these are sounding like reasonable things to hold
onto that alloted.

Speaker 1 (01:23:03):
Yes a case, there's a case, there's a case.

Speaker 2 (01:23:07):
This is more of a case than that. That's stupid
stuff of like so and so we're just hanging out.

Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
Yes, they have not posted with each other, they have
not really mentioned each other. They sometimes don't like each
other's photos, which don't ask me what fourteen year old
on TikTok told me that one This is why I'm
offline now. I don't have time. I got to focus
on the heights. I can't focus on the fourteen year
olds that are upset. But yeah, they were like Page
doesn't like Easy's photos. Easy doesn't like pages photos.

Speaker 2 (01:23:34):
I would say, is not posting for the birthday. If
the birthday in the past.

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
It has from the little from the fourteen year olds
they have apparently posted in the past because someone was like,
throwback to last year when it was good. Now they're
breaking up. Yeah. The thing is the thing is on
her podcast she does talk about age like a little
bit or other people will bring her up and people

(01:24:02):
are like, oh, like she just had a former teammate
and I think Asy asked like, who's your favorite player
in the W and the teammate was like Pagebreckers obviously,
And I feel like they wouldn't say that if they
were broken up or something.

Speaker 2 (01:24:14):
I don't know right this is either they broke up
or I wonder if they're trying to reclaim their privacy.

Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
I think they're trying to That's what I think because
because this week at some point two there was a
media day. I didn't know that. I don't know how
deep I am in college basketball, but I need to
get out anyway. There was a media day and Asy
was wearing a matching ring she has with Page, so
everyone was like, are we still okay?

Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
We're good?

Speaker 1 (01:24:42):
Okay, great. Also sometime this week there is or next
week there's supposed to be a ring ceremony because Yukon won,
so they get their rings.

Speaker 2 (01:24:51):
And Paige Page is.

Speaker 1 (01:24:53):
Going, we're good. Also she should be going though, whether
they were broken up or not agreed.

Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
Agreed, that's true. But I'm just saying, like, oh, if
they already are going to see each other, her flying
immediately to go to Yukon. Yeah, I'm gonna be there
in a few weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
I will say. Though Page did post, because my god,
these people take over my life, so like, if they
post a story, it's there. Again, why I'm chronically offline.
I had to do a lot of soul searching and
being like, I don't care about college campuses anymore. I
don't know why I'm getting tours of Yukon, Like I
don't care. But Page did post that she was watching
some exhibition game that Yukon did, and I don't feel

(01:25:30):
like you would do that if your ex was playing, even.

Speaker 2 (01:25:33):
If it was your team you went there. So yeah,
But I think that that works.

Speaker 1 (01:25:38):
Yeah, but not all the alums are sitting around being like,
we got to watch this exhibition game. That doesn't count
for anything unless your girlfriend's on it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
Right, here's a lot I feel like about.

Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
You need to get at it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
Close.

Speaker 1 (01:25:52):
I get it, I get it, but you have to.
I think it would hurt to watch if it was
a fresh breakup at twenty two, twenty or I guess
she's twenty three. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:26:03):
This isn't like the most important game. It's not like, yeah,
like the Final Four.

Speaker 1 (01:26:07):
She's in her early twenties. If you have a breakup
with someone in your early twenties, you're not going to
not only watch the game, but then post that you're
watching the game and you're so excited. So I'm just
saying I feel like the Ring.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
I also think was a really good little eastery clue
that they are.

Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
Fine unless Azy just can't let the breakup go. She's like, Paige,
come back to me, here's the ring. How funny? I
should write my own ducks. This is hilarious.

Speaker 2 (01:26:35):
You have morphed into fourteen year olds now.

Speaker 1 (01:26:40):
I don't even know how I So, yeah, I have
to reset my timeline because I'm getting straight up like
day in my life is a student at Yukon and
I'm like the fought, please come back to groups. Yeah,
I started getting in group seven. I will say I
follow out of sports accounts and there's this one woman
that I'm like, very upset I follow, but she follows me.
But I'm very upset I follow her now because she

(01:27:00):
is like azy didn't post for Page's birthday and I'm like, literally,
I couldn't care less call me when they have a
public breakup and I watch it. Okay, yeah, I don't
care if we see really broke up. The fuck make
that shit public or don't, so whatever, I'll give you

(01:27:20):
post it on the Paisy one. But oh, there's a
rumor because they're doing this this thing. Oh this was
the other thing. I think the ring ceremony is like
this week sometime or it already happened because people were like,
Page is going to be on the podcast this week,
wait for it, and they always give out a clue
to who the guest is. This guest is, but this

(01:27:43):
guess is. This is hilarious. It's a British guard a
nose and a rainbow flag and people are like, oh
my god, Page is a guard. She her nickname is
a like p Boogers or something like that, and she's
gay and I'm like, that is so crazy though, and
then someone's like, oh, like the Twitter is hilarious or

(01:28:03):
blue Sky. But they're like, Okay, does anyone know a
British person that broke their nose at Pride? What are
we doing? And I'm like, y'all, no one knows what
this is. It could be fucking anything. A British guard,
a nose and a rainbow. The guest is definitely gay,
probably yeah, unless they're Irish and they really like leprechauns

(01:28:26):
or something. I feel like you would do a pot
of gold then instead of the rainbow.

Speaker 2 (01:28:30):
I agree. I agree.

Speaker 1 (01:28:31):
Could be anything major happened at Pride or are there
we're got arrested at Pride. I love the who broke
their nose at Pride because they made me think of
vander pump Rules and I was like, I could think
of someone. Yeah, okay, this was fun. Do all the
things I mentioned in the beginning of the episode. We'll
be back with also catching up on pop culture. I

(01:28:52):
hope we stay in group seven with that love

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
