Speaker 1 (00:00):
So first, let's dig it off.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Oh no, no, no, you'll never guess, so sidebar.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
And also I feel like I shouldn't have to remember
everything I know. Actually I have talked.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
About this three two one.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Hi everyone. Hey, I'm Alicia and I'm Meredith. And this
is also podcasts back and better than fucking ever.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
You're well second week back.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
But yeah, when last week was all the Mormon why.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
True form? You're so right and we're not holden to
Nick stupid man or those Mormons.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
We're not holden to any men or any Memons. Good God, no,
no men, and no Mormons here.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Sorry to the Mormons. I would doubt though a lot
of Mormons listen to us. I don't know why. It
just doesn't seem like if you are, let us know,
let us Alicia.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
You know what we learned from your apology to your
cousin is we don't assume anything anymore. We don't speak
for anybody except ourselves. I love that.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
That's still a joke in my family. Before we get
into it, though, we have an Instagram, a TikTok at, YouTube,
a Patreon. Other links are in our description. Please check
that out. Also, please be sure to rate review, subscribe.
We haven't gotten a good review lately.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
I'm handhandling for reviews sometimes, but like, come on.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Just do it. Just do you doing what else?
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Nothing besides giggling to our voices. But your thumbs can little.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
You can giggle and type mos, I cask.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Please come on.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
If you're watching the video.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I can't get over what a business lady I look like, Sure,
don't spiffy, I think so.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
It's from old Navy.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Love love you, very summary of you.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Thanks.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
I throw it on for meetings and then I rip
it off after meetings and put on a tank top.
It's hot today anyway, Meredith, let's jump right in. I
have a lot to get to, but let's start with
small celebrations.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Do you have a celebration you'd like to share it first?
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Because normally I do. Come and I did it awesome.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
I came prepared. So my small celebration is this is
gonna sound like bad, but it ends good. So my
friend shout out Jess. She discovered I have a podcast
yesterday because Meredith clipped and put on social.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Media me freaking out about page and easy.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah, and Jess is deep in Paisy shit, so she
or her girlfriend saw it and was like, are you
and Alicia even friends?
Speaker 3 (02:46):
You didn't know she had a podcast, And then Jess
yelled at me, oh my god. But then it ended good.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Well, first I was like, you don't have to listen
to it, like I love you for wanting to be supportive, truly,
don't have to listen. But then she said she is
training for a half marathon, and I said, actually, a
lot of people, weirdly enough, multiple times, have told us
that they listen to us while running, So actually you
should listen.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Do you know what that is the one time I do? Right?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Actually, I'm actually gonna recommend mostly that most of the
things I have to talk about, I think Jess would
be interested in this episode, so I'm gonna recommend this
particular episode to her. I also told her only listen
back through March because that's when I started to get
into women's basketball, and so then Jess can at least
relate to that, because I don't think she watches a
(03:38):
lot of Bravo shows.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
That's okay, that's davity of the time stamps, though that's true.
That like everybody's look in the description and figure out
what they're interested in. It that's what you have to
do while running. But for the people like you and
I who enjoy couch surfing.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Absolutely horizontal running if you will, truly, it's a lot
of work. But yeah, when I did, I caught up
with her recently and I was like, are you watching
Love Island? She's like, Oh, don't even tell me you're
into that shit. My Girlma makes me fucking watch it.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
And I was like, damn, dude, your girlfriend sounds cooler
than you. I'm just kidding. If I'm just kidding, I'm
just walking on my ass. Leave me alone, anyway. I
told you not to leave it anyway.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
No, no, But for those people who work out and
watch Love Island, I walk on my walking pad during
Love Island and I saw somebody on TikTok be like, wow,
Love Island reminds me that I could go to the
gym five times a week because I do know how
to sit and do something consistently for an hour, hour
and a half for five days a week. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Back before COVID, when I had a gym membership, I
would go and watch the UK version on my phone
at the gym on the treadmill. That's all I did.
That's all I would walk to.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
I watched it to me at least two seasons on treadmills.
Just crazy because UK has eighty five episodes.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Oh my god, yeah, I miss it.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
I miss that anyway, this isn't all Island.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Wait. I was about to say, we are going to
do a dedicated episode. Were we love a dedicated episode?
So like, bear with us one more week?
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Truly? Okay, Meredith, what's your small celebration?
Speaker 1 (05:15):
I actually speaking of somebody who's running running. I got
back into well, I got back into working out now.
I mean I did run two miles yesterday, but like,
that won't be normal. I just barely had time to
work out, so I like how to do it quickly?
And I knew I would have to run face.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Okay, like I don't want to be rude and like
to anyone else who runs, like that's fine.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
But Meredith, I thought you were my friend. What are
you doing? Why are you running?
Speaker 1 (05:41):
I had twenty minutes, and I knew I would be
annoyed by just like walking a half mile, like what
was the point of that? But yeah, my goal is
to start walking three miles a day whenever I'm on
my walking pad or my building as a free gym membership.
So like because I have to go back into the
office now I can go like walk there and watch TV,
or like.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
You sign you if you sign up for a race,
I will have to unforgot bit.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
I'm sorry, absolutely not, because the last time I did
try to do a race was in college. I tried
to run a half marathon and I had to have
knee surgery. So like, you can bet your bottom dollar,
I will not be training for something. I did actually
tweak my knee yesterday and it has heard ever on
the rune. Oh no, no, no no. Whenever I was getting
up off my couch, I no, no, no, no no.
(06:32):
From watching TV. I hurt myself.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Awesome, No, my mom did that once. We had to
call the paramedic.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I like, it definitely bent in a way it should
not have.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
But like I find okay, I also know you have
bad ankles, so just be careful out there.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
What's really great is I have one bad ankle bad knee,
and they're on opposite legs. Opposite.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
No, I get that. I actually weirdly enough, well, I have.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Two bad knees and one bad ankle, So what do
we what's a girl to do?
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Weirdly enough, I have a bad elbow.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Someone let me know when I do push ups, my
left elbow feels like it's burning.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
I feel like muscles to do push ups because my
elbows just crack the entire time. And it's just something.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Yeah, but muscles versus like an elbow feeling off, there
has to be you know what, though, it doesn't matter
at this point.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
I'm just a walker. I'm a walking goal and I'm
back to walking, is what I mean. We you know
bunning was a freak accident because I just I didn't
have time.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
No, we love it. We love walking. Please don't run again,
walking Please, I lost. I lost a little bit of
love for you, but it can grow down.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Sorry. I should have introduced it as the walking and
then the running just was a freak accident. You know
a chase?
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Do you remember vine?
Speaker 2 (07:53):
That one vine where the guy was like, why are
you running? That's how I don't my god, you weren't on.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
But I promise once every like six months, maybe will
I give a little jog.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
I guess I'll don't tell me about it anymoreyway.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I'll just tell you I've walked too much.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Weirdly enough this miles, but weirdly enough, this is a
runners podcast.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
It's very strange how that works out. We don't believe
in it, but we support you.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Maybe that's why I ran yesterday. Thro osmosis the opposite way.
You should try to me.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
You should try listening to us your next run and
see how it goes.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
God, No, I can't.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Do that, George.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
It's hard listening to yourself. Absolute georture. Okay, cool.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Should we get into news. I have news. I've been okay,
chomping at the bit, Meredith, chompin' all day long.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Go on, I'm going so excited.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
We're gonna do WNBA news.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
And I saw on TikTok some girl today be like,
I wish there was a podcast only dedicated to the
lore of the WNBA because I want to learn everything.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
This is not just dedicate.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
I want to be like I can help you for
twenty minutes of your life, but.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Other than that, the rest of the podcast is in
for you. But a lot happened.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Okay, So I'm gonna start with my real life experience first.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Wait, can I ask you a question before you dig? Yes,
I'm sorry you know I'm a time like early, so
I need to set the scene.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Okay, when did regular season start? Like May?
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Okay? And then how long does it go to too.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Like September October, depending on playoffs and stuff.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Yeah, I just want to know where we're at in
like the season, and we're like halfish way okay, halfish
great now I'm ready Okay.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
So on Sunday, I went to a WNBA game to
go see my WNBA crush.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Her name's Gabby Williams.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
I'm so fucking obsessed with her, like she should get
a restraining order against me.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
I think about her once a day. I love her
so much.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
She's on the Seattle Storm and she is allegedly but
not allegedly because it's kind of real.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Dating a woman. I told you about them from France, remember, yes, okay.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Okay, yes, I do know this. Oka stick with me,
stick with me. Other love in basketball, another one of
our couples.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
There's so many anyway, So yeah, Gabby plays in Seattle.
She came to New York Sunday to play. I was like,
I have to go watch her play against her girlfriend.
Because this is literally it writes itself.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
It writes itself.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
So I dragged my friend Paula with me, and I
was like, here's the lore, and I spent twenty minutes
explaining it to him, and I was like, so, I
hope they kiss, which I know they won't because they
are like the most private but secret couple.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
There's barely anything of them together.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
And I feel like that's your workplace, so like that
is just on its own lie.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
I know they're not gonna but I was like, I
hope they can't kiss.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Kiss that me me all just shouting it out.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
So I knew they wouldn't, but I was like, I
just need to see them interact and like smile at
each other, you know, like.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
I'll settle for that eyes. Yeah I am.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Though, now I have beef with the New York coach
because she did not play Marine Johannis, the alleged girlfriend. Enough, Okay,
Marine spent a lot of time on that bench when
she should have been in the game with Gabby.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
They should they think about that, like, no, the dynamic
could be off or no.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I it so Marine already, like she doesn't start. She
usually is like the six or seventh man off the bench.
And I think, just like the way that New York
has lost a few players to injury. They were trying
to find their stride and they just needed height and
Marine's a little shorter.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Okay, so I think it was.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
I don't think it was.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
That'd be so homophobed.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
No, no, I don't mean that way, but like, you know,
your mindset could be different when you're playing your partner.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
I also don't think so, because when they played in Seattle,
Marine Johannes was going off, she was scoring in her
girlfriend's face, she was going right again. Gabby tried to
block or shot nah, Marine sank and Marine was like whatever.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
So I don't think so. I think, first and foremost
they are competitors.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
But this time Gabby did make a show right in
Marine's face, and I was like, oh, it's amazing.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Anyway, anyway, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
After the game Seattle had won, New York was just
like they weren't gonna hang out on the court.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
They just go back to the locker room, right m hm.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
So I said to Paulo, I was like, look, I'm
not gonna stay a long time, but can we stay
at least a few minutes until everyone's cleared out so
I can see if they kiss.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Interact whichever, whichever, We'll say anything, but the dream is kissed.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
We only really had to stay two minutes. So New
York is walking to their locker room, and like the
Seattle team's kind of walking into their locker rooms. But
then you see Marine Johannes kind of like look behind her,
and then Gabby like you look back, and then Gabby
looked back. So they start walking towards each other to
have I'm like, oh my god, meet in half court
and kiss.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Kiss.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Why don't you know you're kind to me?
Speaker 2 (12:51):
They were walking towards each other, and then this woman
in a black backpack I'll never forgive you. She stops
Gabby and she says something and then yell something at
Marine because I'm in I'm in the notes bleeds, so
I can't hear anything. But then you see Marine Johannes
kind of do like a little like okay, no worre
like forget about it kind of movement, and so then
(13:12):
Gabby just waves and like points at her, and then
Marine like points back, almost like I'll catch up with
you later maybe, And then Gabby had to go do
an interview and I was like, it's high key homophobic
of that woman in the backpack to keep me from
watching true love happen.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
I'm like, you couldn't wait thirty seconds.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
It's all I wanted.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
And then just because I'm petty, I'm like, well, I'm
gonna watch this fucking interview. Maybe I get like a
little snippet of Gabby and Marine like looking at each other.
I can't find this interview fucking anywhere.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I don't know who.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
I don't know where what, I don't know who.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
We're CBS, ESPN, WNBA, I don't know where this is.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
So I hear me out, this sounds like a great scene,
but we like in love basketball, Yeah, a break between them,
like they're trying to get to each other, and the
backpack person is like actually shuffling them like.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Intere Gabby hits her in her face and it's like,
don't keep me for my girl. Also, just to add
on to this story, like I said, very private, but
it's not private.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
But see you're not private, but.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Like they are the top of that, like some of
my friends are like they are not dating.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
There's no proof.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
However, one of Gabby's teammates did a TikTok and some
weird sleuth on the internet that I love because I
saw the TikTok screenshotted Gabby's background on her phone and
it's her kissing marine on the cheek and they're cheersing.
And I'm pretty sure they're engaged because they both do
(14:45):
wear rings, which is my other giveaway.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
So fun, right, another love and basketball.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
I love this.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Okay, there's more love and basketball, new characters, new characters
each time. Okay, okay, okay, So now we have a
So there are these two players, right, Alyssa Thomas and
do Wanna Bonner.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Okay, sick with me. They've been in the league for
a hot minute.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
They're not new to this.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
They both played on Connecticut last year together, and they
are dating.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
They're engaged. It's we all know, we lovemates again. That
dynamic is interesting.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
I mean, you spend a lot of time with these people.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
I understand. Did they start dating when they were teammates.
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
They've been dating a while so, but they were on
Connecticut together last year. Then there were a bunch of
trades this past year. Or yeah, Alyssa ends up in
Phoenix and do Wanna goes to Indiana. Right, It's fine,
they're professionals first, another across country, another cross country, but
we're professionals first, so everything's fine.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
But then some drama went down in Indianapolis. We don't
know what.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
I don't want to speculate because I wouldn't even know
where to fucking begin, honestly, but the team do Wanna
Bonner is no longer on Indianapolis.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Some some happened again.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
We don't know what. I don't know if it was
good bad. I don't know how we parted on terms.
I really don't and she just no, she got released. Yes, okay,
so she's released. We've parted ways again. No one knows why.
I've heard rumors like maybe her family, like maybe she
didn't get along with Indiana.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
I truly I have zero clue. But guess what team
just picked her?
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Oh, Phoenix PHOENIXX.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Phoenix Phoenix picked her up and now they're gonna play together.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
And that's a shorter.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Story, but it's very cute. It was very cute. Well god,
she got picked up, because like it's just in general,
that's stressful to be released from your sport.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
I mean, she she though in her time off has
been a wag, which I.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Think Phoenix Wing she was just say for the game. Yeah,
she was just there money day watching.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Even better in the same team, same city, Like you
didn't even have to travel, like you're already.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
The best was Monday there were rumors she was going
to be signed. I think it was Monday or it
was like around there. There were rumors and then like
the next day she was signed.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Because I mean, I bet she It's like, hey, she's
already hearing you might as well just call her in
for a work meeting.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Her.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Girl, they already play well together. They've been playing well together.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
That had it on added on.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Okay, so now I'm gonna go back to a couple
we're all familiar with page and as a lot has
happened since.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
I know, because since our picnic is going viral, people
are posteeing photos and I've never loved it more because
I have to do no work to keep up with this.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Damn it. You guys, stop splitting.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
No, no, no, no, no, I know no context. I just
get random snapshots and there's been like three, but I'm like, wow,
oh my god, but I don't look into it because
I know you don't tell me.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
So summer, I can't believe these twenty three year olds
have me in a choke hold.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
So no, this is my favorite segment. I am just
like eating it up. I'm like, give you more, give
me more. Okay.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
So summer workouts for college are over, so easy's done.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
She's got it.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
She got at least like two months free, you know.
So she of course flies her ass to Dallas immediately,
of course, which people people were like because I read
the comments as well because I have to know what's happening,
and so people are like, yeah, Aasy spotted in Dallas.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
But then people are like, why wouldn't she just go?
Because she like flew there on like a Saturday or Sunday,
and then Dallas was playing in Phoenix on Monday, so
everyone was like, why wouldn't she just fly to Phoenix?
And then people were like, oh, because she gets to
travel with the team, So she she's real wag. She's
real wag.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Is that what happens with wags?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
I think you can travel with the tea. I would
assume it's just family. So if like, I'm dating an
athlete but you're like I want to come too, we
would just travel separately. But if it's just me, yeah,
I'm sure my professional athlete.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
They do probably have like a family.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Yeah, I'm dating, can get me a ticket on their
plane please?
Speaker 1 (19:20):
I just don't know if there's I guess basketball is different.
I'm thinking like football, like that save you're on.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Oh that's a big that's a big team.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
But either way, like also, just spending twelve more hours
with your partner is worth it.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Amazing. So they did fly to down Or to Phoenix together.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Aisy was spotted at the game the same one do
Wanta Honor was at, so like, full of wags, We're
freaking out right.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
She shows up in her Page shirt.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Everyone's like, oh my god, Page per usual has her
ring with Aisy's Bert stone again, this is all Internet.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
People are like, that's what that ring is, and I'm like,
I'm not going to question it.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
The ring's been building. That was before rings so great
and so very cute. Fun.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Now after the game, I'm sure everyone was like, are.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
We going to see them leave together?
Speaker 2 (20:10):
There was someone I don't know her and I could
never be her, but she waited two fucking hours after
the game to try to see them in the stadium.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
I would be asleep. This game ends at ten.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
You wait two hours after that, I can't believe that
the athletes are still fucking here.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
But okay, this is what I call journalism.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
This is thank you for your service, because it couldn't
be me. So she got a video of Page and
Asy coming back on the court holding hands.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Oh she's the bad biggest. That's the snapshot. I saw
it and I was like, oh my god, that's.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
The largest besides them hugging, but like the largest display
of a public display of affection we've seen.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Out of them.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Yeah, that like cannot be misconstrued as just friendship.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
It wasn't like leaked.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Yeah, yeah, they yes, I'm sure they didn't know this
woman was like sitting there for two hours and filming that.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
They like, they are just gonna have their own moment,
but they do know that they are still in a
public space.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
But ye're out in the fucking open, right.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I also, okay, another picture that somebody like put on I.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Think I know what you're gonna say. Yes, was the
poster Yeah, where it said.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Asy Fudd's girlfriend sign here and Page signed it.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Oh, Pages would have signed it. I don't know I
fully read it, but I knew one of them signed it. Yeah,
the line so Yeah, the joke.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
When Asy posted this the phone case, right, and it
said Paige Becker's girlfriend, people started making signs to Pages
games and being like here to watch Azy Fudd's girlfriend
or whatever, just to like, because people love Asy. She's
the people's princess. So someone made a sign that said
Azy Fudd's girlfriend. Sign here. And the fact that Page
(21:56):
did not crack a smile signing I would have died laughing.
That is so funny.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
She just signed it.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
She just signed it and moved on, and I was like,
you know what, respect put the security guard cracked up
watching her sign that, because that's absolutely so funny.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
So that it would be so funny for me to
like know all the information obviously about my own life.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Which is funny, will be out to the public.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
People would make me crack up.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
It's the bag that people are now confronting me with
this internet shit.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
So they played in our face though, Meredith again. So
then yesterday, so the game was Monday, right, So that
was on Monday. Yeah, Tuesday, Asy posts a photo of
her and Page in the hotel room, I'm assuming, and
Page has her arm around Asy and their heads are
like scooted together.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
And they're like whatever in a mirror.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Great, and she's like travel day because she's traveling with
the team because today they're in Chicago.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
As we record this, they are currently in Chicago. So
Page reposts it and writes love when my former teammate
can join me or whatever when my former teammate comes.
And the lore with that is like a month or.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
So ago, Asy went to one of Page's games and
the announcers were like, we're here interviewing like a like
easy fund Page's former teammate.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
And then also at the draft, people were like, oh,
it's so fun. Her former teammate is sitting here like
all the professionals keeps getting yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
So that's when Asy started like wearing her number five
necklace and like the phone case and like not being
fucking subtle, and people were still like win denial. But
so then the actual believers.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Of the relationship were like, oh, it's so nice of
Page's former teammate to join her again, you know, like
all of that. So then Page is now again poking
fun at the internet.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Lore.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
I almost spit my watch.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
That's so nice because like the people who are writing
for them and are so excited. Are in on it,
and they're like it's a joke they're having with people
love them most.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Yeah, it's It's absolutely hilarious.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
And I saw a picture today, this is breaking news
that Page has an a necklace that she wears love.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
And then they're in Chicago, I told you, and someone
got a video again crazy. I don't know how people
find out their hotel.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
I want to be one of these people. I'm way
too lazy. But someone got a video of them hugging
before the game.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
And then Page was off with their team and Asy
went back inside to get ready to be aware, and
I was like, amazing. And my friend Jess, who I
just shouted out earlier, she's going to the game tonight,
so I've told her I want if.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
They fucking kiss, I want to know about it. So
I missed out. I'm a gabby and marine kiss and
I don't agree. I want to know if they kiss,
or if.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
They boots on the ground, if they face the same
air right next to each other.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
No, I told Jess is great at photography. I was like,
bring your camera, start fucking shooting.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Picks, dude, what are we doing?
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Like a nikon Okay, yeah, she's just only on those two.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
She has no idea what the game is.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
This is becoming a full time personal paparazzi for you.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Hey man, I'm in a group chat with her and
her girlfriend and all we do is send each other
this shit. Okay, they're just as deep in it as me.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Okay, I'm I mean, as long as the ward constantly
comes back and gets told to me, I'm.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
In absolutely, I can't stop talking about it. Okay, there's
one more piece of WNBA news because I think we're
on the forefront of something. Now, this is all, this
is all allegedly what I'm about.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
To tell you, this is at.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
However, I've been here before, and I will not get fooled.
I will not be fooled.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Whoa, I'm so nervous.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Don't be nervous anyway, but I'm.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Just like, what is about to unfold that You're like,
this is a legend and I will be trapped into
another lore.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Listen, and this is new because this it was as
new as this week that I was like, I will
not be fooled. So I'm the Connecticut's son. There are
two players, one of my faves, Marina Maybray. She's crash
out queen. She's she's absolute chaos and a bottle. I
love her so much. She has like blossomed a beautiful
friendship with one of the rookies who just got onto Connecticut,
(26:16):
Sanaia Rivers right, and so they like do Instagram, TikTok,
lives together.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
They hang out a lot.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Snaya is teaching Marina how to dance, because Marina famously
is a terrible, terrible dancer. So they're like, they're hanging
out a lot. But it's just I was always like,
there's nothing. They're just friend front, right, Yeah, this is right.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
You bond with someone and yeah, a rookie and you're
taking them under your wing, absolutely teaching you how to dance. Yeah,
Marina Mabray good teammates.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
I love her so much. Such a terrible dancer and
such a terrible cook. She also on TikTok if you're interested,
does a TikTok series called Cooking with Marina, And I'm
a bad cook and she gives me anxiety.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Nice, she starts going dancing with the stars.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Oh she wouldn't, no, no, not even that bad. It's
pretty bad anyway. So then Marina I'm scrolling because I
follow Marina on TikTok. I found her hilarious. I'm scrolling
and I come across this video of Marina lip syncing.
And she's lip syncing this I don't know the song,
(27:23):
but it's it's along the lines of like what if
I told you like I'm in love for something like that?
And then she pans the camera to Sonaya and Snaia
also lip syncs the same thing, and I was like,
you know, what weird to do with your friend?
Speaker 3 (27:37):
But okay, wait, great, but I was suspicish because the
way they kind of looked at each other. I was like,
I don't this.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Was a weird, steamy video that wasn't like a trending
song or anything like this, Like that was a choice.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
It was a choice.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
It's it's weird when two friends do a steamy video,
like there's chemistry that you pick up on. So that's
why I was like, I'm just I will not be fooled,
So like.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
I'm clocking this and storing this in the back of
my mind.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Sorrying it for later.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
So then I go because now I'm like I investigative journalism.
I go to Snaia's TikTok and I'm like, let me look,
and she the same day, because they were in the
same outfits, posted a TikTok where she's also lip syncing
some like rap song. I didn't catch the words, but
when Marina walks up behind her, Snaia fully turns around,
(28:31):
looks her up and down, and then bites her lip,
and I was like, that's insane, that's crazy. That I
will not be fooled, is what I said.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
No, no, no, that was.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Fool doesn't I will not believe that they're dating, or.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
I will not give them the benefit of the doubt
any longer. I think they kind of made allegedly I
think they might be dating.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yes, I mean, okay, you could look really great, and
I don't think I up you down and by.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
I didn't know if you're like me, and you won't
fool me into thinking you guys are together or no.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
I love internet conspiracy theory.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
You're on the forefront. I'm on the forefront. I came.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Yes, I came in too late, two years late to Paisy,
I will be at the forefront of this one, mostly
because I just didn't know. I didn't there was I
didn't know anyway.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
You also work on like page Talk two years ago.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Yeah, that's how, truly, truly how I figured this out.
I will never forget me just looking up page Becker's
Yukon because I wanted to know if she was good
for my bracket.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
I want to make sure she wasn't an injury. And
then I got onto Paisy and I was so confused anyway,
So yeah, so then I was like, Snaia, that's crazy
to look around been down like that. And then and
then they had a game today, right a day game.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
And after the game, Marina is out on injury reserve.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Okay, so Sonaia is Benia is great, She's been playing
a lot. And they won today, which is great because
Connecticut's the worst team in the league.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
So like the fact that they got a win was
a win for everyone. And so then Sanaia goes over.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
To Marina, grabs her, like puts her her arms around
Marina's waist. Marina puts her arms around Sanaia's neck, and
Sanaya lifts Marina up and then like puts her down.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
No, no, no, But I was like I was up
on the wave. Now here's there.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Didn't need to be a twirl. Though.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
You know, I thought it was gonna be something so
out there that I was like, see now I'm on
the wave listen.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
And I I famously love whenever I see stuff like this,
I like to think, would I do this with my friends?
Speaker 1 (30:55):
What?
Speaker 3 (30:56):
I because maybe I'm just wanting something that's not there, right,
But no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't do that with any
of my friends. I wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
I don't one friend I would do it with. But
it's like something I've known since I was I want
to pick her up. I feel like I would mess
with her or something like.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
If you were celebrating.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
If I was celebrating, I would pick someone up and
probably twirl them. I don't know if I could. I
also am so weak, so I don't think I could
do it either of these.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
It was there was vibes. There are vibes happening to
let me tell you. So, Yeah, I'm suspicious and I'm
I'm on the watch now with these two.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
Okay, I just feel like a new couple has entered
the villa of our UNBA love in basketball world.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
We're gonna see how it goes, but I'm excited. Anyway.
That was my drama. Do you have any news you'd
like to shoot the class?
Speaker 1 (31:53):
The only thing that I saw that I'm so excited
for because I will watch this is okay, not book
I remember, I don't know. I forget if you read
it or not. The like I'm glad my mom died
by Jeanette. Yeah, it's being turned into a show on Apple.
Jeannette is the showrunner and producer of it, and John
Aniston is playing her mom.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Oh, really, do we know who's being Jeanette.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I haven't looked into it, so no, but I think
that's in its early stages of development. So we've got
probably like a year, year and a half.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Huh interesting. How do we did you like that book?
Speaker 1 (32:32):
I did? I really did like it, and I I'm
excited that she is heavily involved in it because I
realized she should be and this would be like a
limited series. Yeah, maybe like two three seasons.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
It's her story she has to do, so it's not
even like her made up story.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
It's her literal like oh or like like hers is traumatic,
so like it needs to be done here. But I
just wonder if this will be so healing. In the interview,
I saw combined with this was Somebody asked me if
she would go back into acting, and she was like,
to be honest, I'm just excited to explore like another
side of this entertainment world. Yeah, and that also must
(33:10):
be so healing to like she gave up acting, she
like needed to get away from it and now to
be able to come back and be a part of
something that you have been a part of your whole life. Yeah,
but in a fresh new perspective, it's probably nice.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
I also feel like she never, at least from like
what I read on the in her book, she never
had like a big love for acting.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
It was more of like something she was kind of
thrown into her.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Mom like wanted wanted. Yeah, her mom wanted to be
like an actress, never could and put her daughter into it. Yes,
that's it.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
So I mean, I'm ex I'm gonna go, I'm gonna
watch it. I love saying I love a book to movie,
TV show moment. But yeah, interesting, I don't know how
I feel about it. I mean, I'm sure Jennifer Aniston
can do a great job, can.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
I ask a hot I saw a photo of her
mom and like vibes wise it tracks, I wonder if
that's why.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
I have a hot question that could cause some controversy.
Do you think Jennifer Aniston is a good actress.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
I think she is, but I haven't seen a lot
of her recent works, so I don't know. But I
also think she plays a very specific character. I think
she's type fast and that's what she does well at.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
I agree, don't. I think there are certain roles that
I've seen her in that I've been like, that didn't hit,
But then there are roles I see her and then
I'm like, that does hit.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
I also famously don't really like the show Friends, so
I never but I also think that's not finished.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
That's a different type of acting too, like TV to
move or like I mean, doing this show. I'm glad
my mom died, will will potentially show some range for
her if not interesting, But I don't think she would
be picked if she couldn't do this.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Okay, you don't think her name is just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
I have.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
The best I've kind of seen her in is like
remember where the Miller's she was great in Now Yeah,
and like just.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Go with it. That d those like movies she did
and like the twenty tens is like I feel like
where she got type cast it was like really good
and her name brought a lot, but they were like
fun and they weren't like too serious, but like, yeah,
she did a good job. Yeah, but I don't watch
like I've never watched The Morning Show, which is what
I think a show she's on Apple. Oh I did.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
I watched the first season of that. It was fine.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Was she good in it? I never thought like it
looked compelling to watch, not because I never.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Yes, she was pretty good in it. Yeah, actually I
think she was.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
I didn't see what he see. That's what I would say,
is like my indicator is I didn't watch it, So
I don't know what her recent stuff has been like.
But because this is such a personal project, I don't
think and that character is a huge part of this.
I don't think Janet McCurdy would just pick her just
because her name is Jennifer Aniston.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
Okay, fair, sure, I love it. Okay, speaking, do you
have any other news?
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Slow news week?
Speaker 3 (36:10):
But speaking of books, are you reading anything?
Speaker 1 (36:14):
I am finally read I got from the library like
eight weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
My god, someone else is trying to read this book, Meredith, and.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
You're not trust me, You're not really you only get
one renew people are waiting and I've gotten too. There's
no which this is sad when I tell you the topic.
But I'm reading The Color of Law about like segregation
and like the law and like how society kind of
fell into a very segregated not fell into its very intentional,
(36:47):
but like how segregation happened kind of slowly and so
like slowly through laws and socially, just like how it
worked out through Yeah, you know, I love a timeline.
So it's like the history of it.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
No very interesting. Are you enjoying it?
Speaker 1 (37:02):
I am. It's definitely not like a random rom com
book where you're just like zipping through words like no other.
Like I'm reading every sentence intentionally. But I now that
I'm back in the office and I ride my bus
to work, it's getting dedicated something to do. I don't
like holding a book when I read at night. I
really like to read on my phone so I can't
get my lights off. So because it's from the library,
(37:23):
I can't read it at night.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
Totally get it.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Yeah, reading.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
When was the last time we talked about my books?
Speaker 1 (37:30):
Was it?
Speaker 3 (37:31):
I haven't read a lot The last.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
One you talked about that I can remember is that
HACKI No, I think it was that couple who was
like getting divorced or something. And there was like a
weird family one where I.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
Tell you about my soccer I feel like I told
someone about the soccer one, because remember I.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
Was on a big I was like, I just did
you did about the soccer?
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Guy told me about one? Yeah, my pacey moment.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
Yeah, I don't think you told me about the hockey though.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
I feel like I did, but maybe I didn't finish.
But it was It's called face Off.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
It was pretty bad. It was about these two hockey
players who's.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
Boy and a girl.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
So that kind of sucked, but it was it was
my anger with it was it was enemy.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
It was shown as enemies to lovers, and really they
there was never a time they were enemies.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
They were just teammates. It was very weird.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
I hate when a book is like we're enemies to
lovers and you in your mind are like, I hate him,
but he's so hot, shut the.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
Fuck up and beat him for real. Yeah, it was
pretty bad.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
There an enemy still lovers too, So I think that
one that I know, like lore I type being bad
would hate you even harder.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
I know, and with these books, I like there to
be drama. There was no drama except I don't know
how to tell her that I love with her.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
I need the fallout to be huge.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
I need a huge fallout, love the.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Makeup after, like a big free It's like, that's what
those are the parts that I go back to reread
because I like a recovery.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
That's why we love to fight with people we date,
because we hope for the recovery and it never goes.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
I feel self soothed when I go back and like
watch like One Tree Hill when three at the start,
when Haley shows up on the door, Sets and Eithan
are not in a good spot, but.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
It's the best. The yearning is amazing, Like they've all
don't want to but they can't.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
It needs to build over some time, Like I need
people to say done and I'm like, yeah, done, You're
so right, but we know it's not.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
If your biggest issue is that A you shouldn't be
dating because your teammates over it, or.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
B or I just gone minor fight and you didn't
for two days.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
I didn't know how to tell her I loved her,
so then I acted distant and then she thought I
was mad okay.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
And then you're like then Tuesday, and then.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
At one point she's like playing, they have to play
her ex boyfriend's team, who I guess was like super
verbally abusive, and this guy she's dating beats the living
shit out of him, like this ex had to like
go to the hospital, and I was like, he got it.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
That's not hot to me. She was straight up like
I'm I let's have sex now.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
No, it's stop. It's only that's the thing. I would
never want to like have sex right after that moment.
It would only be like, oh my god, if like
I was being beat up and he like rescued me
again and again we're not like hook it up. After that.
It's like, no, it was your way in bed, taking
care of me, and over that time, you're like falling
(40:39):
in love.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
Yeah, it was like no one knew this was her ex.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
And then she was acting weird and he was like
what's wrong, and she's like, that's my ex and he
was like and he told the team, he's like I
don't care if.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
We win or lose.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
We're going to kill him. And I was like that's
not hot.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
I don't like. That's not helpful because with an X
like that, you just like you Gray Rock, and you
just want it to be okay, and you just like
are like, I just want this to be over, this
game to be over, and to walk away. I don't
want any more things.
Speaker 3 (41:06):
I was more like, I wish instead of beating him up,
she like beat him on the ring. Yeah, and it
was like I'm better than you, fucking bitch ass loser.
Speaker 1 (41:16):
No.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
Instead, this guy's laying in a pool of his own blood.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
And she's like, this is the best case scenario. No,
I don't like that.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
I didn't like it anyway. It ends with here, here's
where I said, is their hope.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
She So the coach calls the guy in because he's
the captain, right, and the coach is like, hey, I
wanted to give you a notice.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
I'm I'm gonna trade your girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
To a different team.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Oh, this is professional yes, and the captain yes, supposedly,
And the captain was like.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
And the coach was like, look, listen, I understand you're
coming out for the team. This is the best thing
that could happen. Unfortunately, but he's like, I understand as
a boyfriend, like, you're struggling.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
So he says, so.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
It's out that people know that they're dating. Yes, yes, everyone, okay,
this is a secret. No. I did enjoy that.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
In my mind, that's why I prefer women dating on
sports teams instead of men, because the men just he
beat the shit out of this guy and the coach
is like, why'd you do that? And he's like, because
I'm dating her and that's her ex Okay, secrets out great.
So so the coach was basically like, I'll give you
the decision. Then are you gonna do it's best for
the team or best for your relationship?
Speaker 3 (42:28):
And I was like, oh, I hope she's pissed at him.
I always pissed though.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Never happened though. We are never giving the captain the
vote on are we trating her or not, especially if
this is the pro.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
They're like, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 2 (42:43):
I think the coaching I don't even fucking know, but
basically they do what's best for the team.
Speaker 3 (42:47):
And I was like, I hope she's pissed. I hope
she's a little pissed.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
You know. That would make me think that this is
the big Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
No, the book then ended and they just do on
dis No.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
No, no, because what I would want is they break up,
like there's this huge fight and then you this can
basically be the end, but then it's like a year later,
you know, like they're playing each other and I know
goes and wins her back. Basically, well, I want.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Them to play each other, and then they actually have
to like face off his ex'es and she she's like
so mad, but he has to like give her a
big hit or something to else I want.
Speaker 3 (43:27):
I wanted the drama, but no, they just do long distance.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
That's the thing. I would want him to like not
like check her into the boards and then the coach
to get so mad at him that him out the game,
get in the locker room and he's sitting there basically
rooting against.
Speaker 3 (43:41):
His own team. And then she's like, she's like, why'd
you do that?
Speaker 1 (43:46):
And he's like that somebody on her old team is like,
you don't know what it's been like for him the
last year, Like he's been trying to give you your space, but.
Speaker 3 (43:56):
Like he's the one that traded me though, Oh I wouldn't. No,
they just do long distance.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
This is why sometimes I'm like, God, I should become
a writer.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
I should be an either.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
I can't be the writer, but I can be the idea.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
I could be the idea person exactly. Anyway. Then I
read this book called The Summer Pact, which sounds like
a very fun No, it was a little dark and first, basically, listen,
I don't mind some darkness.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
So The Summer Pact is about a group of four friends.
One of them's name was Summer, but then she killed herself.
That's how it starts, and I went, whoa, I thought.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
We were going.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
I thought we were going to Italy.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
No, okay, then Summer Packed. I was like, oh, this
has to be adjacent to like the pregnancy pack.
Speaker 3 (44:42):
Yep, to make a back. No, we make a package
for our friends Summer Friend. Yeah, that these three friends
are going to like live their best life. It was
actually not that bad a book. I'm talking on my ass,
but I expected to think different.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
The first like it was crazy.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
After here's though the fun. I'm gonna spoil the book,
sorry for THEO. It was three stars. I'm not gonna
recommend it. But basically, these three friends are like all
at different crossroads in their life and they're like we're
gonna do a trip where we each pick a destination
for a week.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
So great cut.
Speaker 3 (45:19):
So they do this.
Speaker 2 (45:19):
One of the girls, I don't even remember her name.
She doesn't have a family, she's a product of an affair.
Her dad wants nothing to do with her because he
has his own family.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Very sad.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
So her one of her friends in this pact is like,
he gotta meet your siblings, because you have sisters. They
just don't know about you, right, So she meets one
of the snow It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
Is this crazy? It's insane.
Speaker 3 (45:43):
It was the worst summer vacations forever.
Speaker 1 (45:45):
That's how we're using the week. No, we're Alicia. We're
going to fuck in Italy. I don't care if I
have had They go I don't know about me.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
They go to like butt fuck Texas to meet this family,
and then to Italy and then somewhere else I don't
even remember.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
Member are the consecutive weeks or we? Yes?
Speaker 3 (46:02):
No, we go right right way?
Speaker 1 (46:04):
What a trip Jesus.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
So it starts out right, we meet one of the sisters.
This is all. There's a bunch of other things happening.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
There's three different characters right that we're following I'm only
concerned about this character that does not have a family,
and her friends are making her go meet the family
at which the father had an affair, and the rest
of them don't know dad had an affair, so like,
this is going to be some news, right, So they
go to one of the sister's houses because they find
(46:33):
her on the internet. It's not hard, and they basically
kind of barge in and are like, well, the girl
with no family is a famous actress.
Speaker 3 (46:41):
So they're like, oh my god, you're at our door.
And she's like, yeah, we're I have something to say,
and so they were like, just come in. We love
your show.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
They were like okay, yeah, the way this could work out. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
So then she's basically like, yeah, that's my dad that
abandoned me. That man that you're also hanging out, that's
my dad. And so then this one sister like kicks
her out and like fuck you, and the mom is
like fuck you. And then the dad is like I
gotta stick with these girls whatever. So then there's another.
Speaker 3 (47:08):
Sister to be met, and this girl is obviously like
I don't want to meet my other sister.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
If this is how this went, like I canceled the
trip or I'm going home. So then the friends were like, fine,
we'll go to Italy.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
It's cool.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
So they go to Italy, right, and while they're in Italy,
this dumb really quick.
Speaker 1 (47:26):
Yeah. Can you imagine you find out that your dad
had an affair? But then like pro cons on that is,
like your sibling is famous, Like that's so cool, but like, yeah,
I could still be pissed my dad had an affair.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
Well, the way they like bombarded this family, I'd be like,
I need to process, but I don't think I'd yell
at the I'd be more like, can you give me
a second?
Speaker 1 (47:51):
I don't what a bro like you find out your
siblings with someone who's famous. I know.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
So while they're in Italy, the girl I don't know
how to describe them because I forgot all their names,
the girl with no family right, She's basically like, I
don't want anything to do with this part of the family.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
They obviously don't want anything to do with me. I
just got bitched out leave it alone. But the friend
that was like, let's go into Texas. She messages the
other sister on Instagram and is like the unmet sister,
the unmet sister. She's like, hey, so listen, I got
a friend here.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
Do you want to come to Italy.
Speaker 3 (48:28):
Well, she's just like, I don't know if you heard
what happened with your sister and your mom your dad,
but like we weren't trying to come maliciously. She I
really just want her to have a family. Her mom died,
like she's all alone.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
And this other sister's like, oh, I don't talk to
my family because I just think that my sister's an asshole,
and my parents.
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Like enable her.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
I'm actually in a different part of Italy for a
tennis tournament because I'm a famous tennis player.
Speaker 3 (48:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
So then weirdly enough, the.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
Texas friend said let's go to Texas and the other sister,
the unmet sister, they start dming each other and then
the friend is like, oh, I really like this sister,
and she's like, come to Italy to hang out.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
But then she kind of like.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
Brings it up to the girl with no family and
is like, what if we just tried your other sister,
And this girl's.
Speaker 3 (49:18):
Like, no, stop stop making me meet my fucking family
in Italy.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
Now, Texas planning girl, Texas, I'm kind of interested in
the sister, like, wow, I want her for my own
selfish reasons.
Speaker 3 (49:31):
Well, it wasn't like that at first, but she was like,
I like hanging out with her definitely. Let just like
come to my part of Italy. I'll ditch my friends
for a day and we'll hang out.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
Great, they're not in a big town in Italy, so
and they all track each other's phones.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
So the two other friends are like, uh, where's this girl.
She's been ditching us all day and they find her at.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
This cafe kissing the unmet sister, and I was like,
this is crazy. Imagine and then rightfully, so the girl
with the family goes to get so black out drunk
because she's so mad.
Speaker 1 (50:06):
This is the most realistic part.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
And then her friends blame her when she ends up
in the hospital with alcohol poisoning.
Speaker 1 (50:16):
The whirlwind of this book was crazy damn.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
So yeah, so that was fun.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
Then I read wait, can I just say you were
in a no reading like slump. I know you're you're back.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
I'm about I'm going like a week per book, which
I used to go say, but we're working on it.
Then I read a Carly Fortune book, one of our
favorites Meet Me at the Lake Love.
Speaker 3 (50:42):
Did you read that one?
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Yes? I have. It was cute. It was so cute.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
I gave it four stars. It was lovely the book.
The man was very, very very hot. I was super
into him, and the main girl was great. I just
wish there was more drum. I mean, there was a
little drama, but I didn't like how the drama was. Basically,
this man had like ADHD or not ADHD. He was
like kind of OCD, yeah, and full of anxiety, and
(51:10):
I was like, yeah, I guess that's the drama.
Speaker 1 (51:11):
But let's okay.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
There was a scandal though there was.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
Have you read the one where two friends go back
to one of the girls is like family home, like
basically like and it goes like five years. It starts
like five years ago and like slowly.
Speaker 3 (51:31):
I've only read this one and the brothers and I that.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
It'll be different, Okay, anything like that. The time I
list that is my favorite one of hers.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
Okay, okay, I'm I'm in already. I think you're like
that because like, okay, the Problems Are is really good.
It's really a bunch of like.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Small ones kind of but it builds up because it's
like over five years.
Speaker 3 (51:53):
Okay, I've been.
Speaker 2 (51:53):
I love a long term problem too, because it just
builds and builds and builds.
Speaker 1 (51:57):
You know what, I really love long term avoidance because
that's my specialty. I love that.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
So my last book I wanted to talk about I
also just I'm not going to talk about this book I.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
Called Then She Was Gone. It was a thriller that
I bought on my trip to Connecticut. It was it
was good, it was fine.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
I gave it four stars. It was a good thriller.
But I must talk about A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
Have you read it?
Speaker 1 (52:21):
No? What it's in my like should read.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
I won't spoil it, but it is so good.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
It's basically about it's basically Cereal the podcast. Remember wait,
wait in a book. Yes, it's this girl who like,
there was a murder in her town and she doesn't
believe or it was like a murder suicide. It's kind
of how it's classified. So basically, actually, you're about to
freak out because it's so similar to Cereal.
Speaker 3 (52:47):
So basically, this girl went missing in the town.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
They blamed the boyfriend, who's also a person of color,
just yeah, for killing her. They're both in high school, right,
and then he ends up debt and it looks like
a suicide, but they haven't found her body.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
They're just assuming she's dead. It's been like five years
at this point, right, But there was.
Speaker 1 (53:07):
A person of interest.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
He was a person of interest when he died.
Speaker 2 (53:11):
Yeah, so people the police were like, he obviously killed
himself because he murdered his girl, right, right, So a
little different than Cereal.
Speaker 1 (53:19):
But still kind of like no, no, I'm tracking. Okay,
So this girl.
Speaker 2 (53:22):
Pick, she's like, I don't believe that I knew this guy,
Like I don't believe that he would kill do this
his girlfriend and then like do this. And also she
is very into true crime, and she's like a lot
of the evidence doesn't align. So she's like, I'm gonna
solve this murder.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
I'm gonna try, I'm gonna look into it. Right, So
she goes around town, she's interviewing everyone, she's like asking
police questions.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
She's like, she's so into it. She even gets the
help of the guy's brother, the guy who died. His
brother is like, do you really think there's hope? And
she's like, I don't know, but like I'm here to
find the truth because I feel like something's missing, so
they're like all solving it. It's very good and I
never saw the ending coming. I was suspicious, but the
(54:10):
way it ended, I was like, holy shit.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
Wait, all right, I'll prioritize that I might buy it
then because it was like that, yeah, and it was
so good.
Speaker 2 (54:19):
I looked I'm trying not to spend on Amazon, but
I looked on the Kindle and the second book was
only two dollars and I went, wow.
Speaker 3 (54:26):
Yeah, And so I'm reading this. I'm seventy percent done
with the second book.
Speaker 2 (54:30):
But in the second book, she basically took everything she
did in book one and turned it into a podcast,
which is why I was like, this is cereal where
she explains it and then they follow the trial. But
then another mystery like pops up, so she uses in
real time her podcast to help solve this mystery to
reach like millions of people.
Speaker 1 (54:49):
So it's very And there's a third.
Speaker 3 (54:51):
Book that I'll also have to read.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
I'm very second book in the second story. Does the
second story wrap up in the second book?
Speaker 3 (55:00):
I don't know. I haven't finished.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
I'm seventy percent of the way done, okay, But I
was hesitant to be like, how are we going to
do a second book because we already solved the murder?
Speaker 3 (55:09):
But it's worried about No, it's weird how it doesn't
feel like we're extending, Like it doesn't feel like we're
forcing another story. It felt very natural like going into it.
And you still refer back a lot to like the
first book, Like there's a lot of like she's basically
taking what she learned and trying to like do this better.
So I'm excited for the third book too.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
But there's also a Netflix show that now I need
to watch called The Good Girl's Guide to Murder.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
Yeah, I didn't know that. I didn't even have to
read that first book, so then I can watch it,
I know.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
So yeah, well this is exciting that we could talk
about this. Now please read it.
Speaker 1 (55:46):
No, I'm very excited and gosh, there's so much I
want to read. My problem is I'm just a little lazy.
But my friend bought me for my birthday. Everything is tuberculosis,
and I've been wanting to read it, but it's really small.
What is that, thoughts? It's how everything anything you can
think of ties back to tuberculosis in some ways. Oh,
(56:07):
I'm so that'll I might get the Was it a
Good Girl's Guide to Murders? That you were talking about?
Speaker 3 (56:14):
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder?
Speaker 1 (56:15):
Yeah, I think I might buy that on my phone
because the Everything is Tuberculosis is a physical book, so
it's one I'll have to read on the bus versus
at night.
Speaker 3 (56:22):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (56:23):
I'm in okay, I.
Speaker 3 (56:25):
Love You're gonna like it.
Speaker 2 (56:26):
I actually was reading it and I was like, Meredith
would really like because we listened to Cereal at the
same time, remember when we went together, and so I
was like, this is right up, Meredith Sally, because I
want to you can solve the murder too, because I
was kind of close. But I doubted myself at the
end there and then that I don't know, it all
fucked me up. There were so many avenues, just like
(56:48):
how in Cereal there were so many avenues. It was
like the friend, the parents, the this, the that, and
we were all like, what is actual?
Speaker 3 (56:56):
Though?
Speaker 1 (56:56):
You know that felt like that well, there was just
like a lot of doubt on a lot of things,
but it's not like there was an answer.
Speaker 3 (57:02):
Yeah, yeah, I feel like that awesome. Anyway, can we
talk about what we're watching.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
Yes, okay, so we start Bravo. I've been watching Next
Gen NYC. I know the last time we talked about this,
I was like, no, well, one season wonder it. This
will not be a one season wonder It is great
because hold on, a lot of things on Bravo have
(57:28):
gotten really heavy. Do you agree, Yes, this is like
lighthearted and fun. It's kind of like I think what
we all want from Summerhouse, from the Ogs going to
the city. Obviously it's a little different because like it's
not those people, but I really like how they lean
into influencer culture. Well, like a lot of these people
(57:49):
are influencers, but it doesn't feel like they're lying about
their jobs or used to have something and so they
bait and switched us. Like we just know up front
some of them are influencers. We see a little bit
of it, but it's truly just the dynamic of friends
hanging out. And I'll put that on quotes a little bit,
because there's clearly some people that were originally friends. And
then obviously when you're casting a show, like things are
(58:11):
shifting and you're bringing new people. The first episode terrible.
I just don't think they introduce people well, but from
then on they are they are slowly intentionally introducing, Like
Ariana Berman is like moving to the city and like
that was in like real time happening. It wasn't stage.
Like her and her boyfriend were living out of a
(58:31):
hotel and trying to find somewhere to stay, so like
that's their storyline at the beginning. And then like her
and Riley Burris are like seeing each other again for
the first time in twelve years and like rekindling a friendship.
And then Riley and like Brooks know each other, so
they're like bringing her into their friend group in New
York City. Gia is like half in on it because
(58:53):
she is the only one who doesn't live in New
York City, which I finds so fucking funny, but it
is normal. Like they they are half of them do
have jobs, but half of them are also nepo babies,
and they're like talking about the difference of like having
to work for your money and like money being given
to you. But then like Ariana's mom like stole all
of her money, so like, yeah, she's a nepo baby,
(59:14):
but she like doesn't have all this money, and she's
like dating someone who's like a billionaire son, but like
they're normal, nice and cool versus this other like thirty
year old like Nepo baby, who is like such a
fucking brat and like sucks. Like you're getting all these
dynamics where you're like constantly comparing people for different or
similar reasons, and it's I think it's really good.
Speaker 3 (59:35):
All right, I'll lot. I'm still twenty minutes into the
first episode. I haven't made it pass.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
The first episode is the worst. This week, I was like,
this shit's getting good. Like there's like real conflict happened
in episode five and then everybody just kind of aired out,
like their grievances with the same person, and I'm like
hell yeah then and right before they go on a trip.
So you just like, no, it's heat, oh all right,
all right, I'm in. It'll only be eight episodes. This
(01:00:03):
week was episode six.
Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Right, and so you have two weeks before catch up
at work like I normally I do.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
That's perfect. I usually walk around my house and like, yeah,
my house, my tiny apartment, and I do stuff as
I'm like listening and watching. Because it's lighthearted, it's not
tah deep. You don't have to catch everything, And this
is a weird thing. I love about it. I think
you're gonna hate this hart. They're like subtitles, you know,
when you have to subtitle because somebody is talking low
(01:00:30):
versus like your TV putting on. They have like different
text sizes and they emphasize different words, and so some
words will be really big because they're certain words.
Speaker 3 (01:00:42):
I think I'll find a hysterical great Okay, I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
Just like, okay, yeah, but put these subtitles on for
no reason, just to emphasize like two words of this
sentence go on, right.
Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
All right, all right, I'll give it a go. I
did today at work, though, ketch up on the valley.
I don't know if you're caught up.
Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Okay, I am.
Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
I got caught up.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
I tell back in Oh my.
Speaker 3 (01:01:02):
God, I'm gonna get in trouble one day. Oh. I
hate Brittany, dude. I hated Brittany for a long time
and I still do. She is the worst friend in
the world.
Speaker 1 (01:01:15):
Agreed. Agreed. I think I just looked past her because
she wasn't really a main player on Vander pump Rolls,
you know.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
But why do people like fight for her friendship? Everyone
on Vander Pump was like, we can't upsept Brittany. We can't.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
She's she's her friend.
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
We gotta keep her happy. Everyone on the valley is
the same way. What does this bitch have on people
that they're I think we gotta be a good friend.
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
We got hear me out. I think she's the anti Shena.
I know she's just like Sheen in certain ways, but
like you know, like people will always not be friends
with Sheena. I think the default is to be friends
with Britney. And if you're not friends with Brittany, like
you're the bad person.
Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
I'm a bad person. Then I pic Sheena Brittany every
time with you.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Every I'm just saying, she's like the nice person and like,
how could you have a falling out with Britta? And
it's like, well, because Britney.
Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
Sucks tucky muffin and we all look past it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
She's what is it what's it called? When Oh she's
people like infantilize whatever, infantize, infant yeah, whatever the terminology is,
but incentialized or whatever. Yeah, we're it's like she's not
a grown adult that people always protect her feelings and
kind of baby right, oh hater, So she want to
(01:02:27):
get mad at someone. I think people would be like,
how could you do that to Britney?
Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
Yeah, why is she a baby? I'm so I hate her.
Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
I think she's the worst friend in the World's telling
first of all, I just finished the episode today where
she everyone said Chris and got engaged and said, don't
tell anyone and he tells Jof and then was like,
I can't believe I did that.
Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
I'm so sorry. I wasn't even thinking he's just he's my.
Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Person, because you don't think about people that aren't yourself, right,
every time there's a fight, Brittany, He's like, I'm going
through a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
And I'm I think she again, I think she kind
of did this subconsciously. But I think the reason she
told jacks is because she was upset that she wasn't
a part of it, and yeah, put her feelings into it.
So like, I think she wanted to be the one
to tell someone, and Jackson was like the first person to.
Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Know before someone else, almost because she didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
So like like if randomly, like Sheina called her, I
think she would have told Sheena. Yeah, but she just
wanted to tell someone and be the person who told
people and be in the know and be important. And
I get that, Like there have been times that I
think we all feel this way where you're like, God,
why was I I a focal point of their engagement?
But that self is to say out loud, well, like
(01:03:45):
I think other people don't say that out loud. You
just kind of have your feeling and you're like, oh,
I wish I could have been there. Maybe yeah, you
don't make it a big deal and then you don't
capitalize on that and try to make yourself important first
and like beat people to the punch of like tell
people I.
Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
Think it was that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
I think that, like because okay, I think to an extent,
I know what you're saying. But I was like in
my early to mid twenties when I would like be like,
why wasn't I a part of that?
Speaker 3 (01:04:13):
Like why wasn't I a bridesmaid?
Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
But I would net First of all, this all happened
in the last episode, and I'm like still reeling when
Zach calls and is like, hey, it's an engagement party,
and Brittany's like, how come I didn't know I would
have went fishing, And Zach's like, okay, well, it just
didn't happen that way, So can you just get to
the engagement party?
Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
Also, like Zach wasn't there, so it's not like Zach
gotta go and you didn't it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
It's like one couple went literally just to take pictures
and make sure Kristen showered.
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
That was the goal. And it would have been weird
if this was a couple trip and then Brittany showed up. Correct, right, Okay,
So then Brittany is like, I wish I could have
seen her face. I'm just feeling like.
Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
Don't just record it, you're gonna see it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
She's like, I'm Kristen's best friend, She's like a sister
to me. You literally have been on janet side while
Kristen is feuding with Janet. How could you then like
bey that you're not number one in Kristen's life.
Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
I agree, because it's like, Okay, oh yeah, I sure,
I understand. If you feel like you're so close to
this person you want to be at their big life moments,
act like it, Act like you're you're her best friend
and she's your best friend, and you can act a
middle between two of your best friends and be good
best friends to both of them.
Speaker 3 (01:05:30):
Like you're not.
Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
But you're not even trying, No, not at all, You're
just like on Janet side, it's the weirdest thing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
And then because it's even worse because she turned on
Zach for like six months and didn't speak to him,
So that shows you, like what she'll do at the
cost of Janet's friendship. Also, who is Janet like that
your best friend Zach.
Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
How many years? And you're like, oh, for this fucking
Janet bitch.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
Can I understand if Brittany's like, listen, those comments are inappropriate,
has a talk with that whatever, go off, But like
to like not speak to him and not hang out
with him for like six months is creat down to me.
Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
And then we're at the engagement party waiting for the
group that went fishing to shower because they went fishing. Yeah,
and Brittany's like, I just feel like, since I didn't
know about the engagement, I don't have to be here
because they're not even here.
Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
Just just wait they're shot.
Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Way you suck it up. I think about this on
like bacheorettes on engagement parties. There are certain life moments
suck it the fuck up and do it for your friend,
especially if you say, you're so close to these people.
Suck it up, no it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
She drove me nuts.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
I loved zact being like, stop this, whatever this is,
cut it out, we're done.
Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
I like that did entertain it. He was like, we're
just gonna have a party here. You guys are leaving.
Let's have a time.
Speaker 3 (01:07:05):
Stopping a bench basically.
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
And I like how Kristin sat down with Brittany and
was like, I told you not to tell anyone, and
you still told someone.
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
So fucking act like my friend or don't pretend to
be my friend. Oh, Brittany darthy nuts.
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
I like Janet better than Brittany and Janet sex too.
I did say I really like Janet earlier this season.
Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
Okay, because I came to this conversation hoping you can
tell me what you feel about Janet.
Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
Think Janet, so listen. I know it's crazy Kristin, but
I love Kristin.
Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
She's done.
Speaker 3 (01:07:34):
She has done so much service in my life. I
can never turn on her. I don't like though, that
Janet is. I feel like she is very malicious. I
don't like her spreading these rumors about someone sexually assaulting someone.
That's crazy, Like if it happened, sure, but like out
of respect for you, don't.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
Get spened to you that like it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
You need to calm down.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Like I understand if if Janet and Melissa and Jasmine
were like so close and they felt like they couldn't
speak up, so then Jeanet was speaking up for them. Sure, maybe,
but like that's not the dynamic.
Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
No, And Jasmine and Melissa spoke to Danny already, so
why Janet to Dan? And they never use the words
sexual assault when they were talking to you now, Danny
about it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
But then Janet says like these words, which like.
Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
She again she is like she was the old terminology
and like it's just all the same thing. It's not
like if if Jasmine and Melissa want to call like
say it's that okay, like let's have a kind of.
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
Hat I went to them.
Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
Yeah, but Janet, you don't get to level things up
and just be like, well, it's a sexual assault because
that's the like legal terminology of all this stuff. You
know what that does in public opinion, You know what
weight that carries. I do feel for Danny. I think
Dannie should confront it. Danny did confront it. I should
deal with this and I think it should be a conversation,
and I don't mind it being aired publicly on a
(01:09:03):
TV show, but it's not your right to keep pushing
this boulder up a hill and other every person involved
has put it to bed.
Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
Fully one hundred percent agreed. Janet is off her rocker.
I don't know what Jason is doing too. As a lawyer,
she should have used the words allegedly.
Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
I feel like, but that's what.
Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
I thought she was gonna say, Like wow, with a
lawyer for a husband, I should be careful with ag
because of like anything that gonna happen. But she's protected
by the clauses in the Bravo contracts that you can't
suit people for defamation.
Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
I also, though, liked Nia basically like kind of listening
to Janet and being like, all right, you're yelling, we're
just gonna leave, and her and Danny walk away, and
Nia is so hippy dippy.
Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
I love it because She's like, we can only control
our own energies.
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
And I'm like, how is she kind of so called
Crandalls is gonna kill Janet on this boat? And Nia
is like, all we can do is breathe and act
to pro greatly ourselves.
Speaker 1 (01:10:01):
It was like Nia handles Danny so well, like he
gets so fighted up, but like, yeah, I really actually
admire their partnership. I do. I think that they know
how to balance off of each other and when somebody's
having a hard time, how to bring them back down
to earth. And like that's what you wanted a partner.
And then Danny's not going to change who he is
at his core, but he can be different in the
(01:10:23):
way because of how she interacts with him.
Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
Agreed.
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
And then after this big old blow up on this boat,
who who turns to Janet Brittany and Christian's my best friend.
Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
But I'm gonna go make sure Jane it's okay.
Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
Shut that. I swear to God, because if you actually
were better friends with Janet and Janet was your priority,
you would have like been sitting with Janet when she
was eating alone. Like that is sad whenever you feel
like you're on the outs and like you have to
be with all these people. But point he's just like
you want me to make room, and it's it's just
you have energy of like if you want me to,
I can. But like they go, they go, they choose
(01:10:58):
to remove themselves and say, great, that's on them. But
if you were that close with these people that when
a fight happens, you're picking their side, why aren't you
trying to make them feel more welcome and sit with
them on this boat from no Like moment one, I
am the team.
Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
Kristen, Zach and Danny those are my rider eyes, good
right side of history, Yes you are.
Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
I hate that Janet stirs ship up and then plays
victim like dumb like save your like oh that ship.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Then I have one thing to say, though, she not
better be on the right side of history with me
or I'm gonna lose some public opinion.
Speaker 1 (01:11:39):
Yea, I know she is kind of wrapped up in
it with Janet. Janet, like Christen and Zach always are like, yeah, no,
we were talking ship, we said this stuff whatever, so
are you guys, and they're like, wow, way to turn
it on us, and.
Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
It's like no, no, no, no, no no no no,
absolutely ridiculous. Also the fact I had to see Tom
Schwartz again.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
Okay, but hay me excited for Dody like that was cute.
That was cute.
Speaker 3 (01:12:06):
I also loved when Well didn't love but Jacks was like,
I'm just I'm asking Brinnany, why can't we just do therapy?
And Tom Schwartz is like, that's a bad idea. I
don't don't do that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
No, you know it's bad when Schwartz is giving you advice,
like marriage advice, advice.
Speaker 3 (01:12:26):
Yeah. Yeah. The guy who's hissed me off.
Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
With Jackson, he's like, why won't you just give me
a shot? What is the last ten years?
Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
But the thing I did love from Jackson was when
Brittany called him to bitch him out about talking about
Kristen Penloo's engagement and his The scene of him is
just going, okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, okay,
because you know he's just getting yelled at and he
just wants to hang up, but he's trying to win
back his ex wife and he's like I'm sorry, I'm okay,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
He's on his like I'm I'm in my best version era,
like I can't I crack. But I do know what
that they didn't give us Britney side because like, well
deserved go off and all I want is yeah, him
being like sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
But then I loved he was like one thing I
won't do is stop opening my big mouth. It's all
the not even all the times he's blabbed, but just
one four we got four four moments. This man has
been blabbing and running his mouth since twenty thirteen.
Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
And give me crazy is he does it on himself
on others like no one is sick.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
That's that's his best that's the best one.
Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
He incriminates himself and he's like, yeah, I did cheat
on my girlfriend with my best friend's girlfriend.
Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
I did that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
I did, but I told the truth.
Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
And everyone's like no, but yeah, okay, so I caught
up on the valley.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
It's good.
Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
I mean, these people are fucking insane, though, I'm said, so.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
I enjoy I will. I will tell you this. It
goes the valley and then next gen NYC and it
is a nice palate cleanser to go in the next time. See,
we're like, it's not that deep, it's not that serious.
There's not all these deep wounds or like sexual salt
being thrown out or divorce or rehab. Like it's just
(01:14:10):
like a guy who maybe owes like four grand for
a night at a club.
Speaker 3 (01:14:14):
Right, I'll go past. Anyway, are you watching anything else?
Speaker 1 (01:14:21):
The only other thing is I heard Reals in Miami
was really good this season, and so I was like, oh,
I'll watch. And then I was like, wait a minute,
what the fuck is going on with these people? So
I asked, I asked the I asked, I almost said
the TikTok. I asked people online.
Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
I asked the talk what's happening to give.
Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
Me some info, and it was a resounding no, we
will not give you the lore. Go watch it. It's
not that much. And I was like, I did get
a few details, but I was like, you're so right,
Like I should just go watch this.
Speaker 3 (01:14:52):
I think I watched the first season and it was yeah,
hell yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
I just want to say, as you're in your rewatch
with like OC and you New Jersey, it is funny
to go back to a beginning where you're like, wow,
this was two early two thousands or twenty ten, like
vibes are.
Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
Hogh, I love the crinkly screen, I get it's not clear.
Speaker 1 (01:15:12):
Oh yea yeah, my god, the warmndrobe everything.
Speaker 2 (01:15:16):
Yeah, And weirdly enough, a lot of the same characters
are still on Miami, aren't they.
Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
Wow. I that this is my problem. So I finished
season one, put my thoughts out there on the TikTok
and I started season two, episode one, I was like,
the fuck, hold on, where did some of these people go?
I know they're in season seven, so I'm a little
I'm at the place where I'm confused. But I'll get that.
(01:15:44):
I'll get my answers. I just have to get through
all the seasons. I get so photos, okay, live reactions
are like more documentation happening on our social channels. But
I am enjoying it. These people are cracking up, and
I love how cold like the US is so big,
so like culturally you get different things from different groups,
(01:16:06):
and I really have I love the Hispanic.
Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Like influence in miamis so good. It's probab.
Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
They talk about their food and like like when they
go dancing. Yeah, Like there's just so many things where
I'm like, oh my god, Beverly Hills could never, or
like New York could never.
Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
No, no, oh Ce could never.
Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
Because I'm watching it and it's just it's getting not hard,
but it's I'm pausing a little. I'm got I'm still
in like whatever it was season seven eight, I don't know,
it's it's uh Rihanna's a new mom. Tameron Eddie are engaged.
I love heatherd bro but her and her and I'm terry.
Speaker 3 (01:16:50):
He used the D word, the divorce. Heartbroken.
Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
I don't think they'll get divorced because I know that
they're still together, but I'm heartbroken about that latest still
on my TV screen.
Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
I can't get rid of this man. And then who
else is there? You have to be in like Jesus jugs.
Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
You're in season seven or eight right now. Yeah, so
don't don't worry. Slaves off your screen soon?
Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
Oh thank god? I will say, though, Oh, what were
you gonna say?
Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
Gretchen's back here. It started this week of season nineteen,
and she's a friend.
Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
Of Okay, that's I can't follow her life at home
with Slade. I honestly can't. I will say, though, Tamra,
I don't know, babes. We're removing a lot of people
for using racial slurs on our TV. I would watch
your mouth a little. She used one for a Mexican
person or if.
Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
You will, you know, against her own fiance, which was crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
You know how Tom Sandoval really became like someone whose
whole life was like changed and like was adopted and
he really lives in a reality TV bubble now. Yeah,
Like there's that one interview after Sable where the writer
was like, oh yeah, plane went overhead and he stopped
talking because like he knew to do that during reality TV.
(01:18:12):
She slowly becomes that where it's like you're you're willing
to put everything in your life basically on the line
for this show. Is crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
I like Heather a lot, a lot, a lot, but
she's like really good friends with Tama right now, and
I'm like, yeah, stop this. And Tamara and Vickie are fighting,
which that's crazy the way those two and I know
they get back together because they have the amigas thing
that they do, so I know that they become friends again.
Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
Gretchen and Tamara kind of become friends for like what.
Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
They are because very of the fallout of Vicky and
VICKI Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:18:50):
It's kind of crazy, but yeah, I'll continue. I will continue.
Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
On my watch, it felt really good when I caught
up with Jersey. I'm trying to find that moment again.
Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
You know, it's hard with OC because it's the longest running.
Speaker 3 (01:19:02):
You gotta okay, I'm gonna get it done. And Potomac
I think is coming back, so that'll take some time
because I do Love I think they're filming right now,
so yeah, amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
There's a lot of the.
Speaker 3 (01:19:11):
Good shows are filming money coming back.
Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
You know what. I would prefer my favorite shows being
on in the winter, like Fall in winter, because then
I'm like cozy on my couch, whereas I know, I'm
really busy. Love Islands on like, we got a lot
going on elsewhere, but I will see me don't promote Miami,
and that's pissing this off. So that's why I'm like
(01:19:36):
getting into it and I'm trying to talk about it
because they deserve it. I've seen two or season one,
and I'm watching season seven and it's good.
Speaker 3 (01:19:46):
Maybe I'll hop back into Miami because it helped give
me get through Jersey when I started the OC, so
I could switch on what I was feeling. But now
I just have the OC and I'm like for moving
slow though. I want different women.
Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
And I really think you should watch this live season
with me.
Speaker 3 (01:20:05):
No, I don't know, Okay, I'll make a decision.
Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
I'll let you know the viewer ship. At least put
it on your team.
Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
It oh, i'd love I'll let okay, maybe i'll play
it during meetings.
Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
So it's just on silent and I just like view it.
I do that. Can I talk about one more thing
I watched? Yeah, okay, remember the show The Ultimatum, and
we all watched season one.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
Yes, I've only watched season one. That was so.
Speaker 3 (01:20:31):
The concept's crazy. Well, I didn't know they made a
queer one. They made queer Ultimatum. So there's the straight
Ultimatum and the queer Ultimatum.
Speaker 1 (01:20:39):
Do they multiple seasons of quit or is this the
first one?
Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
They have two? But I didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
I didn't know about season one, but then I started
getting tiktoks about season two on my my TikTok obviously,
so I was like, I gotta watch it. It seems
so dramatic, and I was like, I want other people
arguing that's not these women on the OCE, so I'll
switch to this. Yes, you know how I always say
I want to be gay, I don't want to be
(01:21:05):
after watching the show, these women have stressed me to
make okay.
Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
So I know it's Ultimatum queer. But is it all
just lesbians or is it?
Speaker 3 (01:21:14):
Yes, they're all women date women. No, it's all women.
It's all women who date women, so basically your options.
Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
So I think there's like five or six couples, so
you have like ten to twelve people to choose from, basically.
Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
Any When they did what was that MTV show Perfect Match?
Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
No, yeah, perfect Match the queer edition, but it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:21:34):
Called perfect Match because that's the Netflix show.
Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Oh are you the one?
Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
Yes, they did. They did a queer version, and I
was like, this is unhinged. Not you can say yes
the number game that it came, I was like, you're
you got.
Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
To give them more because like, listen, the straight version,
if there's five couples, there's literally.
Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Four other people you could date.
Speaker 3 (01:21:59):
No, no, no, this was crazy and so these women,
First of all, the host is yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22:05):
It's wait the host, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
Not the laches good because they can't win it.
Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
They do straight people disservice, which is like the easiest
thing to produce.
Speaker 3 (01:22:13):
But the host isn't gay either, so crazy, but she
did a great job.
Speaker 1 (01:22:18):
They can be fun. Yeah, she did a great job
keeping it and not ask if everybody's gonna have a
baby in five minutes.
Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
Wow, these are queer women, So I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:22:27):
The concept is that you they all go to that like, well,
at least in the straight version Season one, they all
went to like a hotel, they all met each other,
you got to talk to everybody, and you picked a
new partner.
Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
Okay, So, if you remember correctly, the reason these weirdos
are on this show is because they've been in a
relationship and one of them wants to get married and
the others drag in their feet, and so the one
that wants to get married says, this is my ultimatum.
And at the end of this show, you can either
It's kind of like Totati Island too, where it's like
we could either leave together and be engaged or are
(01:23:02):
not okay.
Speaker 3 (01:23:03):
So, or you could leave with someone else. So you
don't know, right, So they all go to this hotel
and they all date each.
Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
Other crazy numbers, a round table, like you got to
pee everyone.
Speaker 2 (01:23:17):
There was even one couple who both they were both
vibing with this one girl and I was like, damn,
she's dating the whole couple up in here. But then
they stand around a table and you basically stand up
and say who you want to match with, and then
that person will be asked if they also want to
match with that person, and then there are a couple.
Speaker 3 (01:23:36):
If it's a match. Here's the other crazy thing.
Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
They literally stand around and say all the things they
love about this other person in front of their current partner.
So that's like if I, if we were dating, I
would stand up and be like, I really like this
other person because they're kind, they're carrying, and it seems
like they understand me, they probably love me, like, and you're.
Speaker 1 (01:23:53):
Just sitting there like, oh oh, do I not do
any of that?
Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
Okay, So that was kind of unhinged. So then they
for three weeks. I think, no, it'll be just a week.
Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
No, it has three weeks seems like a lot, Okay, I.
Speaker 2 (01:24:09):
With the yeah, and then a we're original old person. Yeah,
maybe a week and a half something like that. See
first week, they're all in different couples, right.
Speaker 3 (01:24:18):
And these women listen when I tell you, I could
never when I'm dating someone. We could be four days
in and I still don't even know if I like
you that much. These women or immediate two of the
women got tattoos, matching tattoos with each other.
Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
That's the new matches.
Speaker 2 (01:24:34):
The new matches they got matching tattoos. We got people
telling other people I love you, like I could see
a life with you. It's like, forget my girlfriend of
three years, You're the person I'm in love with.
Speaker 3 (01:24:46):
And I think this is more a show to be
like like if I would never if I was going
on this.
Speaker 2 (01:24:52):
Show, it would be less about finding a new love
of my life and figuring out if I'm actually in
love with the person I'm with versus not.
Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
Because if I can, like like.
Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
Someone else sparking such a connection with someone else, that
would tell me, like I think it would be not
hearing it again, similar to like in Love Island when
they go to Cossa more it's like it's a text,
it's mine strong enough, like if I can really vibe
as well with someone else, or am I just like
stuck in a relationship and used to it?
Speaker 3 (01:25:20):
Yes? No, these women fully all gotten.
Speaker 2 (01:25:22):
Like relationship relationships. Also, they're all in the same hotel,
so they like run into each other. So then we
hear the aftermath of like I saw my you know
ex is what they call their literal partners, And she
did say she didn't say hi to me, and now
like she must not be in love with me, so
I'm gonna go fuck this other girl.
Speaker 3 (01:25:41):
It was the craziest thing.
Speaker 1 (01:25:42):
That's a thing love is like this gives you the
reactionary for somebody to be like, well fuck them, like
I'm gonna like move quickly about connection too.
Speaker 2 (01:25:50):
But then it also hits me harder because then I
got to thinking and I was like, damn, if you
are what I don't know about men, because I don't
I'm not a man.
Speaker 3 (01:25:57):
But like, my girlfriends are like the most important people
in my life.
Speaker 2 (01:26:01):
I couldn't imagine dating like a girl who then becomes
my best friend, because like when you're dating a man,
he sure becomes your best friend, but at the same
time you still need the different friends. If I'm getting
everything from this girl I'm dating and then we break up,
are deeper and.
Speaker 3 (01:26:17):
Then we break up, I would never recover. So that
was crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
So then they all get back together, right man. There
were some that really did fall back and they were
like this is it. There was a few couples, though
there was one in particular who was like one of
them was like, I'm in love with my old.
Speaker 1 (01:26:38):
Partner, my new connection time, I mean the og partner. Yeah,
but they're in love with the new connection.
Speaker 3 (01:26:43):
Yeah yeah, this girl.
Speaker 2 (01:26:45):
Haley told her partner Polar, She's like, Polar, I'm in
love with Megan and not you, and Polar is like
we've been together for ten years.
Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
And Haley's like yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:26:55):
And Hailey issued the ultimatum because Polar wasn't comfortable being oh,
because Polar's family has completely disowned her for being gay.
So Polar is like, I just don't know if I
want a wedding if like my family can't be there,
and Haley's like, ultimatum, and I was like, yo, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
So then we also.
Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
Understand the ultimatum.
Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
But then to leave the partner, Well we learned then
because Polar and Haley have been dating since they were
literally eighteen, Haley's family has become Polar's family, like she
thinks of these parents is like her own. And Haley's like, yeah,
I think I'm in love with Meghan. So she goes
to Meghan, but Meghan's like, Meghan fully in love with
(01:27:38):
Haley when they were in this new couple, goes back
to her partner. I don't even remember her partner's name.
But then it's like Haley, I want nothing to do
with you. So then Haley's like, Pollard, take me back.
Speaker 1 (01:27:49):
It was the craziest Polar.
Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
You deserve better. I'm just gonna say it. They're still engaged,
but it was guiding.
Speaker 1 (01:27:57):
It was like with Temptation Island. I've seen some like
cast members be like we were basically already broken up,
Like yeah, it doesn't really matter that. I just always wonder,
how are you going into these experiences? What are your
boundaries that you guys set, because like that's what would
hurt me more if like if me and my partner
went into this and we were like, you can kiss somebody,
(01:28:20):
but no sex, like no like physical touch like underclothes
or like naked or anything like okay, fine, So then
if you were to break that, that would like ruin me.
Speaker 3 (01:28:32):
Yes, agreed, but also were so curious, what are you
saying five days before you come into this?
Speaker 2 (01:28:38):
I do feel like though Polar did. I feel like
because Polar is not fully open with who she is
because of her family. But then also like you know,
she's been with Haley for ten years. When she was
in this new partnership with someone named Kyle, she kind
of like like we get we don't get the interaction.
But then the next morning, Kyle was like, hey, so,
(01:28:59):
like you kind of forced to kiss on me yesterday
and I like didn't want to kiss you.
Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
And Polar was like I were in a new relationship though,
and Kyle's like, no, no, no, it's just like a
boundary that like I and my.
Speaker 1 (01:29:11):
Partner said, a couple doesn't mean you can just and
l took this like.
Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
Really hard, and I felt bad for Kyle because I
was like, Kyle, you're not in the wrong. But then
when Kyle's with her new partner.
Speaker 3 (01:29:24):
Or with her old partner again, Kyle tells her old
partner I don't remember what the old partner's name is,
but this old partner was like so mad at Kyle
and I was like no, no, no, watch the tape
fair yeah. But Kyle was like yeah, I let her
kiss me and that was my bad and I was
like no, no, Polar, really, I think I made a
(01:29:45):
move kiss a little, didn't Yeah. Yeah, And then Kyle
slept on the couch.
Speaker 1 (01:29:50):
She was like we're not really like, yeah, Kyle knew.
Speaker 3 (01:29:55):
Kyle was like it was her partner that was like
I don't know, but they got engaged.
Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
There's only one couple that broke up, and at the
reunion they yelled about how they didn't care that each
other's grandfathers were dying, and I was like, ya, crazy,
I know that it was crazy. It was a crazy season.
I will say I didn't like though, all the therapy talk.
A lot of these women would be like, like, you'd
be arguing, but be.
Speaker 3 (01:30:19):
Really calm, and they'd be like, well, I feel that
you were not respecting the things I have brought to
the table in these ways.
Speaker 2 (01:30:27):
And then everyone would fully listen and be like I
understand and am acknowledging how you feel about how I'm feeling.
And I was like, just yell at each other a
little bit more you.
Speaker 1 (01:30:35):
And I like. Love that for your guys' relationship. I
love it, hate that for my entertainment.
Speaker 3 (01:30:40):
Yeah, there was though, Oh this was the best part marriage.
I haven't even told you the best part.
Speaker 2 (01:30:44):
So they come together after the trial marriage right, Okay, Okay,
I remember Meghan and Haley.
Speaker 3 (01:30:51):
They're like in love with each other.
Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
Now this was before you know, the original great great, Yeah,
So so Meghan's original partner was like, how could you do.
Speaker 3 (01:31:02):
This to me?
Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
Basically?
Speaker 2 (01:31:03):
And Meghan's like, you want to talk about this. I
know that you're having sex with your trial wife, and
this girl's like, how would you know that? Because I'm not,
And Meghan's like, oh yeah. It was the freakiest thing.
We're laying in bed and it logged into your Spotify
account and we saw you playing a sex playlist and
everyone was like what. But everyone was like, how did
(01:31:27):
that happen? How did her Spotify get in Meghan's room?
That was the weirdest thing, and like everyone was like,
I don't know if I believe it.
Speaker 3 (01:31:35):
And then someone was even like sex playlists got some
good songs though, just like crazy, but they they were
like we weren't having sex and how would you even
know that? And I was like that's crazy. It was
crazy lesbians.
Speaker 1 (01:31:48):
Man, damn a new way to stock people.
Speaker 3 (01:31:52):
Guy.
Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
I can't, though, lose my best friend because we broke up,
So I'll stick to dating men, I think, I think
I will.
Speaker 3 (01:32:00):
I just you're welcome, world.
Speaker 1 (01:32:02):
I hate dating in general, Like what's the point.
Speaker 3 (01:32:04):
It's terrible? And I hate men in general.
Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
But here we are got to do it.
Speaker 3 (01:32:09):
I get we have to. We could just know we
don't have to. No, great, Well that's all I had
to talk about me too. Are you listening to anything now?
Speaker 1 (01:32:20):
Just like random music as I work?
Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
Ugh, I'm listening to a lot of Meg Thee Stallion.
Remember Hannah and Paige interviewed her, and Hannah was like,
I listen to your music and it makes me want
to fight.
Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
I haven't yet.
Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
I knew before.
Speaker 2 (01:32:34):
I was like, I don't think I want to fight
to make the Stallion songs. But I've been listening to
her a lot and there's not one song I want
to fight to. I know that was a microaggression that
Hannah had, but I really tried to be like, could
I fight to this song?
Speaker 3 (01:32:48):
And mostly I just want to shake out.
Speaker 1 (01:32:49):
Whole song in my life? Has ever made me want
to fight?
Speaker 3 (01:32:53):
Oh, listen to some nickelback? Yeah, you don't want to
fight a little not photograph obviously, but like or did
you ever listen to like some rap Like when Kendrick
and Drake were going at it? I was like, oh, yeah,
you someone lost the fight.
Speaker 1 (01:33:06):
You know. I think I'm so used to like some
mental sparring, Like I'm all in for like hurting someone's ego,
not like punching them in the face. So I just
don't think it. Yeah, I would ever get me there.
Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
No, I've never physically assaulted something. I was more thinking
like verbally destroyed assaulting Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:33:26):
Yeah I could.
Speaker 2 (01:33:26):
Okay, Yeah, listen to some I think, if we're gonna
physically fight put on Nickelback, but I'm gonna if I'm
gonna verbally kill someone with my words, put on like
some hard rap or something.
Speaker 1 (01:33:38):
Agree with you on the Kendrick because, like especially his
latest album is just wonderful.
Speaker 3 (01:33:43):
So good. But like Meg the Stallion, I just want
to shake ass. That tracks like I want tequila and
I want this is where.
Speaker 1 (01:33:54):
I agree with people, Like listen, I think influencer culture great,
Like show me some cute capri gens. I don't want
to wear her, But like that doesn't translate to being
a host of a red carpet, Like that is a
skill people build upon for years.
Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
True, However, I think I'm really good at interviewing, not
on the red carpet.
Speaker 3 (01:34:16):
I do need That's the thing.
Speaker 1 (01:34:17):
That was a whole different thing. So like you would
build up into a career of like up doing that,
but like such a big moment, what do they do
the Golden Globes? Yeah, yeah, that is a big award show.
This is it, agreed, The Kid's Choice Awards where you're
like a Bravocon where you're just like seeing people in
a red carpet and asking them some questions.
Speaker 3 (01:34:38):
Agreed, Agreed, this was a big award show.
Speaker 2 (01:34:40):
You're right, I could have you do you know tig
Nataro no Oh an actor or actress? But she had
this talk show because she doesn't really know pop culture,
so famous people would come on her show and she
would have no idea who they are, and they would
have to like give her clues and then she would
like have to figure it out. So she'd be like,
(01:35:02):
are what do you do in the entertainment industry? But
she could never ask them like flat out what's your name?
She have to like kind of weirdly, like Melissa Joan
Hart was on it, so like she had all these
props and it was like a witch hat and like
like Salem the Cat and this woman's like, are you
a witch? And she's like, I played a witch on TV?
But then she doesn't even know this woman's name, So
(01:35:24):
like Melissa's giving her like.
Speaker 3 (01:35:26):
Like a heart and she's like we literally, but the
people know I could do.
Speaker 2 (01:35:33):
That unannounced, but I didn't know you hadn't guess, but
to interview you on the on the garbage massive stage.
Speaker 1 (01:35:40):
Yeah, that's different.
Speaker 3 (01:35:41):
That's crazy anyway, So Taktaro had a great had a
great show. That's it, I think, is that it? Anything
else works amazing well, do all the things I mentioned
at the beginning of the show.
Speaker 1 (01:35:56):
And with that love you, thanks for joining. Bye.
