(00:33):
and Bernie Mack. He's been connected with greats just like
that and more. He was the original host of BT
Live from La connecting with fifty five million viewers coast
to coast. He voiced Beauford the Frog and Disney The
Princess and the Fog, the studio's first black animated film.
(00:55):
Oh yeah, he even took home a hundred thousand dollars
a ya a Star Search Grand prize winner and get this,
donate a half to support the homeless. That's hard and
that hustle. But wait, there's more. He's also a motivational speaker,
a poet, a filmmaker, a voice artist, and now he's
(01:15):
stepping into the pulpit as Pastor Crawley and the hilarious
new original comedy series highly favored executive produced by Bentley
kown Evans. You know he did Martin and Jamie. Fox
show premiers this Thursday on Impact TV Plus. Visit Watchimpact
dot com for all the amazing details. So help me
(01:37):
roll out the red carpet. Here we go. Welcome the
King of Venus Beach, the heart of Hollywood, the funny,
fearless and unforgettable actor, comedian extraordinary. If he's standing, sit down,
If you sit and stand up, hey, y'all, because Michael
Caller is here.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh yeah, way people to sit down. Good morning, beautiful.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Good morning. It is so good to see you. Oh mg,
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
We're glad to see you again. You look just beautiful.
It's a pleasure to be here. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah yeah. Like that Red Michael, the red Cap, got
a red rob. He is rocking and it's early in
the morning.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I'm rocking, Jesus. Wait a minute, I'm rocking Jesus.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Oh yeah, Oh my god. That's amazing. That's amazing. That
is amazing. You said you told the people sit down.
I told them if they standing, sit down. If they
sitdn't stand up.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Man, do something.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
There you go, there you go, hey, Michael, Congratulations on
all the stuff that you have done and getting ready
to do because you know it's just starting, right. They
ain't over yet.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
We're just scratching the surface. Baby.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah. From the Venice Board one talk to Disney's BT
Wow Live. Your journey is definitely a legendary. So we're
glad they have you on legends and our concept because
you sure are when you reflect on the many hats
and you know you wear the hat.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I have some hats.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Now there you go, Comedian, active voice artist speaker. What
has driven you to keep evolving? I mean you're getting younger.
You look younger and you never look tired, And I'm like,
oh my god, well keep it on.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I am driven by eating regularly. Yeah so so my
but need to keep on working for it, you know.
And I am driven by my passion for this. I love.
I love this. I love performance, I love entertaining, I
love communicating with people, but I love also trying to
(03:52):
uplift people. You know. I'm on a mission to bring
happiness every place I go, wherever I am, every single
solitary day. That's that's my thing to do. And it's
my giving back to God, you know, because God has
given me everything everything, and He has forgiven my crooked
and narrow black behind more times then Van Camps has
(04:14):
porking beans. And I want to give back. And the
way I give back is I want to represent the
Lord by every place I walk. I want to I
want to bring light into the room. I want to
change your mood. If it's not joyful, I want to
lift it up. If it's joyful, I want to celebrate
it with you, you know. And so I think I'm
driven by how much I love life and I love God,
(04:34):
and I always have an attitude of gratitude. Man, I'm
just so very grateful just to be here, you know,
after a long, a long dance with crack cocaine. You
know that crack cocaine for twenty three years, and as
of March first, I have sixteen years of pure sobriety. Yeah,
(04:57):
that's a gift for God's every break I take, that's
a gift from God. And so I say thank you
when I wake up in the morning. I don't even
say thank you.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
I say yeah, you know I love that shirt too.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I love your blessed shirt.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yes, I'm blessed. I feel just like you, Michael. I
am so blessed. I hit seventy four on April twelfth,
and now.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You look amazing. See black, don't crack. They're not laying
when they say that you look magnificent. Seventy four. Oh
my god, God bless you.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah. And I feel so blessed because I started interviewing.
My first interview was at the age of fifty five.
You know, I told you when I came on your show.
So here we are getting nineteen years.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Who was your first interview?
Speaker 1 (05:50):
My first interview was a friend of my sisters. She
wrote a book with six You Get Laundry, So she
had five kids and her husband was the sixth and
and that was my first one. I did have my
kitchen table, created my show at the ICU unit of
the hospital. Like you, I feel blessed at this age
to be doing something you know that I love because
(06:13):
I used to sneak to the neighborhood radio station when
I was in Cleveland, Ohio WJMO as a kid, but
it didn't happen til fifty five. So I know what
you're saying. When you're doing something you love, Oh my god,
it's like you could jump up and do it without
even getting paid. But we want that money, honey, we
want that money.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Don't get it. Thing. The Holy Bible says that your
gifts will make a way for you. So if you're
doing what you love to do, you ain't got to
worry about money because God is your supply and all
your needs will be meant.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
There you go, there you go. Yeah both.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Most people are too scared to do what their heart
tells them to do. They're so terrified that they lockstep
and goofstep just like whoever's doing something. Just like all
these kids run around with their pants hanging off the
thing behind that shit don't look cute. There's nothing cute
about that. There's nothing tasteful about that. They're just being followers.
So they don't have anyone to guide them and show
(07:08):
them what joy and energy a better way to look
and carry themselves. So they just be raised by the
kids who they same age. So they saying kids and
tell them this is what we're gonna do. But they
look goofy. They need to pull the pants. In fact,
I'm about to start a new initiatives wear a belt initiative.
I'm about to go up to all the three doors.
I'm gonna buy all the belts twenty five cent fitty cent,
(07:31):
and I'm drap them over my arm. Then I'm gonna
go get a nine millimeter and I'm gonna walk through
the neighborhood. Now, if your pants hanging off your butt on,
gonna hand you a belt. If you take one right
off two times in the forehead, I figured I'd take
out three four people. Everybody start wearing a belt, buckle
right up to the nipple.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
All right, go ahead, yeah, and you gotta help the
girl sisters out too, the boy. Because nothing worse than
being back in the church, sitting down and sitting behind
someone and you can see the top of their thongs.
It's like, okay, you know, yeh, church, you know yea.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
But God says, come as you are, Come as.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
You Hey, at least they're coming for sure.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
You wouldn't talk about no, they talk about this because
I was in a one of my cocaine anonymous meetings,
and every time it we're coming as an old white lady.
She had to be eighty, and she would come in
and sit there and clean her crack pipe, and and
nobody would bother her. She wouldn't smoke it, but she
sit there cleaning and every now and then, and you'd
(08:31):
hear the glass you hit it hit the ground, and
people look over, then they look back. I'm only saying
that to say nobody put her out because that's what
she was supposed to be. If anybody needed a meeting,
she needed that meeting, and she was in the right place.
And the meetings aren't really for the people who need them.
If it was if meetings of people who need them,
(08:52):
there will be no room for the meetings the means
of people who wanted the people who really want to
change their lives. And we have to remember, I can
say my life at any moment I choose, But what
moment shall I choose? Okay, go ahead and go forward?
Speaker 1 (09:05):
We go Okay, Okay, Well, no, that was an important
thing you said, because you're right. The main thing is
that people show up and you know where you're supposed
to be and just watch the miracle and happen, you know,
happen in it live and Living color.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Right.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Okay, so highly favored you sat Crawley in this original
new comedy. Would you you to do this role? And
how is it different from anything you've done before or is.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
It Well I don't know if it's different from anything
I've done. Several times, I've been hired in TV shows
and things to play a minister. I've done that a
couple of times, so I'm kind of comfortable toward that.
But I've never been number one on the call sheet, Okay,
not for TV. I was very very blessed two years
ago because I had never been number one in the film.
(09:58):
Two years ago, out did a film call a Holiday Heartbreak,
And in that film, I was the star of it
and it was just a wonderful, beautiful Christmas story about
love and about a relationship between father and daughter and
the relationships of marriage and family. It which is awesome, awesome, awesome,
(10:18):
But in thirty four years or so, I had never
been to lead. Now this is my thirty ninth year
in the industry, and I am now number one on
the call sheet. You know it's a show out right
now called number one on the call sheet?
Speaker 1 (10:31):
You know about that?
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Do you know about it? Oh? You need to watch it.
As an interviewer. You need to watch it because it's
all the top actors. And when I say top, i'm
talking tippy top. I'm talking about Dinzel, Samuel Jackson, the
Girl Viola Davis, all the top actors and actresses are
looking in the camera talking about what it means to
be number one on the call sheet, to be the
(10:53):
star of the vehicle, what they bring to you, what
you've learned, what happened. And I'm not talking about four
or five people. I'm talking about like twenty something major
stars of each singing it. And the one I saw
was all the men today on watching all the women actresses.
It'll blow your man. Where's it that it's on? It's
on HBO. Okay, it's called first on the call sheet.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
First number one, number one call.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
You're gonna love it. You're gonna absolutely love it. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Well, you're working with Kyle Evans.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Bentley, Kyle Evans, Kyle Kle Evans. And it's not my
first time. I've worked with him several times, but not
as direct as this, because, as you know, he was
executive producer of Martin Show, and on The Martin Show,
I played Gena's boss, mister Whittaker, So I did eleven
episodes with them, so I got a chance to work
(11:48):
with him. But that boy used to come and see
me when he was a boy and I was on
Venice beach telling jokes. As a boy, he would walk
out there and watch my show and he was like, man,
I'm gonna be doing this one. Then I looked up
one day and he was acting.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
In Martin and Martin.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
He had a little bit part, but he was in Martin.
Next thing, I know, he's a writer in Martin. Next thing,
I know, he's a producer and Martin. Next thing, I know,
he's executive producer. Then he went on to co create
an executive producer Jamie Fox show on Your Man Boy.
And he owns his own film studio, TV studio right
here in Hollywood. So he he's awesome. Yes, he put
(12:27):
it together. Go ahead, Oh Mike, Oh.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
I'm just I'm hearing this story. And those are stories
that I love and I know you two too, because
it inspires you, you know, to see somebody that one
minute you're talking to them and then the next minute
they're blowing up.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
And to watch them grow, grow, grow and go go go.
I mean, he has a real studio. His studio is
just like NBC Studio. He shoot live shows there all
the time. He's put a lot of them on Bounce
TV and several of the other channels. But this is
gonna be the killer. This one's gonna take him through
the roof right here, this one here here, highly favored.
(13:04):
What I people understand where that term comes from. It
is a Christian term. When people ask how you're doing,
you say, I'm blessed and highly favored. Well, I must
be highly favored to have walked into this blessing to
be in a show that's like this written with me
in mind. I mean some of the lines of lines
(13:26):
I've already said before on stages, so I know they
was watching me. Oh yeah, one of my lines is
a lot of people like to say God is good.
I don't say God is good. I say chicken is good.
God is great, great, you know. And I get to
the table read and I'm reading and that my line
is and the scrapped. I was like, oh, this is
(13:47):
gonna be a very good thing. And indeed, I get
to work with my friend and my brother from the
South side of Chicago because I'm the pastor. I'm Pastor
Michael Crawley. They made the Heathen and then my deacon
is Rodney Perry, another brilliant comedian from the South out
of Chicago. My wife is Kekey Shephard from Apollo fame,
(14:10):
and one of the church ladies who's ridiculously funny is
a Melanie Camacho who's opening everywhere for kat Williams. And
she's it and she is fabulous. I mean, it's so
many great stars in it. Look, I've been married now
five hundred and thirty three days to the most incredible
(14:31):
woman I've ever met in my life, next to my Mama.
And one of the people we had come into our
wedding to perform at our wedding is Jesse Campbell. Jesse
Campbell get all the way to number two on American Idol.
He's absolutely a brilliant, brilliant artist, and I think only
politics kept him from winning. The boy he's saying at
(14:52):
my wedding, we brought him onto the show, the boy
getting a quiet and saying, girl.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
When you see this.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Boy saying ben bark insane, matter of fact, go to
my wedding. You want to have a good time, Go
look at my wedding on YouTube Michael Collier's wedding. That
boy sings a version of the Lord's Prayer that will
just make you cry.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
You would just sit there.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
My wedding is so awesome. I mean we started the
wedding out with a saxophone player, single saxophone player playing
a little bitty uh, a soprano saxophone playing a jazz
version of Yes Jesus Loves Me as he walked down
the owl. When me and my best man come down
the our and we ain't even supposed to come down
(15:36):
the owl. We come down the hour with our hats
wedding and you're talking about hats. Girl, let me grab
this hat.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
See that that.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Hats on with our suits and look at that, and
we coming to the music. Hey, he's dead, bon on phone,
bot on pound, bon on pound, but we walking down. Oh,
it's so cold blood. It is really really brilliant. It's
really like, all y'all gotta do. Go on YouTube. Put
it in Michael Kaye's wedding. You're gonna have too much fun.
(16:07):
Fifty nine minutes of joy.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Oh my god, I'm definitely gonna check that out. Yeah, well,
you got me laughing so hard over here. I love you, Michael.
This is so great. You know what, I heard that
this series is super funny, but also I heard that
it has a lot of heart and realness.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Its hard, you know what, It's gonna sort of remind
you of but not exactly the show. Amen. Amen with
Sherman Hemsley. Yeah, because like that show, it's got plenty
of foolishness and silliness, but at the core of it,
everything's about family and God. See, and that's what life is.
(16:48):
Everything's about family and God. Once you get family and
God down, everything else takes care of himself. But we
ain't preaching at you, although I'm preaching. So every episode
it starts out with my sermon, and my sermon sort
of sets you up for what that episode's gonna be,
and then at the end of it, I come back
and tell you the lesson that we learn. Oh, it's
(17:10):
so good. It's so good. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Given a lessons that you learn or we learn, what
do you hope the viewers are going to walk away
with and you know, watching highly favors, Well.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
First I want them to walk away feeling better about
themselves and light in general. Yeah, because it is uplifting.
But most importantly, comedy. Comedy is healing. Man. If you
could laugh to a thing, you can get through a thing,
no matter what it is. And right now, with our
society being all crazy like it is right now, politics
(17:45):
all over the place. You can't buy eggs. I try
to buy a dozen eggs. Last week. I picked up
that card. I looked at that price. I burst into tears.
Let me tell you something, food so expensive now, it's
cheaper to eat the money, you know. And when you're
dealing with that with gas prices so high, gas so high,
the other dad spend ten dollars on pumping number two
(18:07):
just so I could drive over the pumping number fold.
So when you got all this stuff, if people don't
have jobs, if you black, look out called di or
anything else we connected with, they trying to smash all
that craziness going on. Oh my god, you need to
have a point of solace, a point where you can
calm down, laugh and gather yourself. Now when you could
(18:28):
just spend thirty minutes sitting with your family and laughing,
I mean, everybody in your family can watch I show
the youngest kids to the Old Ways adult and not
just watch it, but get something from it. Steel relevant
in geting. If you can do that, man you cooking
with oil. Baby.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Hey, my beautiful listeners and viewers, I just got to
remind you to don't miss Michael Collier in the all
new original comedy series that you're gonna absolutely love and
gonna want to share. It's called Highly Favored, premiering this Thursday,
April eleventh, tomorrow on Impact TV plus. It's bold, it's brilliant,
it's funny, it's got the soul of a sitcom classic
(19:08):
with a twist you won't forget. So head over. In fact,
run don't walk.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
I don't know who wrote that, but my goodness, you
said that, right girl? Come on? Look the first show.
I've done six interviews already this morning alone, and the
first one is Morning Call, the show highly Flavored. So
called highly flavored. I said, no, it's highly favored, but
it's very tasty.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
You guys, run don't walk. Over to watch Impact dot
com for more information. You've always been about giving back,
always been about giving back. I gotta ask you. And
this is the final question, because I promised them. I
lit you cod on time. But you know the Star
Search donation that you know, when I read that, that
(19:58):
was so hard touch. So what is it about you
that keeps wanting giving and giving and giving?
Speaker 2 (20:07):
You know? That's so that's so deep and so interesting
because I hadn't planned that, you know, I planned to
go with one hundred thousand dollars and go off somewhere
and play like I was rich. But on the show
the day of the question was asked, ed McMahon asked
me and my contestant, the guy who was I was
going against, and I'm not giving him any glory because
(20:29):
he's now doing a movie with lean Away, the guy
that I beat, And in that movie they depict me
at Star Search beating him and then he's saying I
beat him because I said I'm giving half the money
to the homeless, and not because I was funny, but
because that's what I said. Because we didn't see I
(20:49):
didn't know the question was coming, and live in front
of everybody, he said to the other guy, Anthony, what
would you do if you want a hundred thousand dollars?
He said, Man, I like to buy my mama house.
Everybody's like, oh oh, they said, so, Michael, what would
you do if you want the money? I said, I
want to give half to the homeless. There's like, all right,
all right, you know, but that's not that's not what
(21:12):
made me win. That boy can't carry my luggage when
it comes to comedy, No, no way. So so I
didn't even think about it, though I never gave it
a second thought. My next the oldest brother, called me.
He said, well, we need you need to give it
to us strangers. I said, you need to go get
a job, Negro, that's what the needy you need to do.
(21:33):
But I didn't think of it. I just thought I
didn't have money. I was on finished beach at the time,
telling jokes and passing my hat, and all of a sudden,
I had this wonderful opportunity to win a whole lot
of money. Since I didn't have any money really, just
my regular daily money. Five fifty thousand was a lot
to me. So if I had fifty thousand and I'm
(21:53):
able to give fifty thousand, oh man, I don't have
to think about that twice. I'm gonna do that right away,
because am I My brother, you're damn right, and my sisters.
The reason I came to California was to be a millionaire.
That's why I came to California. Because I was doing
street performance in Chicago, and then winter came and went
aby trying to hear no damn jokes on State Street
(22:14):
in December, so I packed up everything to fit my car,
I sold everything else and I drove to California, I
still on Venice Beach to do my comedy, you know.
And when I got there, I came to be a millionaire.
But when I got there, I saw society, I saw reality.
I saw people. I saw the homeless. I saw the addicts,
(22:35):
the drug heads, and the beautiful people all mixed in together.
And I realized, did the world's not about me? The
world's about me finding you? Until I find you, that
I don't find myself. So instead of trying to be
a millionaire, I'm attempting to be a billionaire of being.
I'm trying to be the greatest human being I could be.
(22:55):
So instead of trying to make a living, I live
my making, and my making shall make my living. So
I roll with my heart. I trust God without reservation,
you know. And I speak the word of God and
peace and love everywhere I go, and I praise God
(23:16):
in your face and seeing me. I don't do it
over there quietly or secretly. I'm right here every time
you see me. I'm talking about Father God. Because with God,
with God, I could do anything, be anything, go anywhere.
But without God, don't know this other stuff don't even matter.
What's the point, you know, you just living life like
(23:37):
a chicken.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
They better recognize we gotta recognize it. The first thing
I do in the morning is I say thank you, Yes,
get me up. Yah, you forgive me my breath to
breathe and legs to walk and mouth to talk. You know, go.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Ahead, so you don't check for your messages.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
First, No good friends, because if I don't thank him,
get to where the messages are.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
And you got a lot of great people on that
wall behind you. I know some of them me and
less Brown for years, my man Simbad, I adore him.
I've been knowing. I'm gonna make it a call Sinbad
two days now. You show me that picture or so Simmons,
all these my people's. Man, Hey, I'm a busy over here.
I'm trying.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
I'm trying to do a little something something over here.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
And you came on my show before your folks ship know.
I have a wonderful, awesome morning show called the Michael
Cally Morning Show. Now when you came on it, I
was still doing five days a week. Then I got
to a thousand shows and we stopped because I figure,
whatever I'm trying to prove to myself. I proved it
by now, so now I do the show only on
(24:46):
Mondays on YouTube. The Michael Cayo Morning Show is off
the chain. Every show that's comedy, every show there's music,
and every show we pray because I was trying to
be ald a show where you could start your morning
with laughter and prayer. If you start your money with
laughter and prayer, you create a force field of positivity
around you that no bs can penetrate.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
You know, yes, I love that. When actually when I
came on your show, I came on.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
You were with the Gospel Strippers, right.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
No, but there was this guy, that boy, he could sing.
I can't remember, but it was in the evening because
you know we met on Clubhouse, you and I did. Okay,
yes we did, Yeah, this club I was still going.
I don't know. I dumped that app sometimes the recording
and it was so weird. I'm like, I can't go there.
But when you're ready for me to come on during
(25:38):
the day here, I am.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
I liked you. When you came on with the Gospel Strippers,
you were fabulous. You know, the Gospel Strippers only except
Tithe and then they only they only undressed down to
the fig leaf. But you are fabulous.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
He tried to get me in charge.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
I mentioned that I'm in love.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Yeah, you said you were married for five hundred.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Days, five hundred and thirty three. Thank you very much. Yeah,
get it twisted five hundred and she is everything. I
can give up everything I have for her except God,
everything else for her. Her name is Sonya. In fact,
she only the number one soul food restaurant in Winston Salem,
North Carolina, called simply Sonya's. And I apologize to my
(26:26):
mama when I say this, but this woman makes a
better salmon croquette than my mama. And I'm gonna held
that title for thirty four years.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
I love me some salmon croquette. I member, I'm gonna
have to get some of Sonya's because I love that
awesome Michael. To close it off, you know your whims,
your struggles, You've had so much, but you stayed in
the game. You wasn't on the sidelines you want to
wasn't in it on the bench. You were in it
to win it. What can others do that are listening
(26:57):
to this to keep chasing their dreams despite what's going on?
Out here in this crazy world, because we can only
control the controllable, right, How can they pushing on and
pushing on and chasing their dreams but actually turning those
dreams into reality like you did.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Well, you have to believe, you know, faith is everything.
You have to believe in what your dream is. Well,
first of all, you got to have a dream, you
know what I'm saying. If you have a dream, if
you have a vision, if you have a passion, if
it's something you believe in and believe in it with
your whole heart, believe in it without hesitation, and God
(27:36):
has promised you that he's going to give it to you.
And God has never broke his promise, never ever, because God,
the one thing you can't do is fail, so he's never.
So that's why they say, be careful what you say.
Majority of time, everything you get, you called for it.
You called for it in some way or some fashion.
That's why it came to you.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Would you speak about you bring about We gotta be careful.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
That your word is your wind. It's like a magic wind.
You can create magic or disaster in your word. The
first thing there was was first there was the word,
So be careful your words are sacred. Speak the things
you want, speak the things speak. Life speak, joy speak, success,
don't speak failure, don't speak lack. Don't talk about what
(28:23):
you ain't got, because the universe doesn't do judgments. The
universe responds to your vibration. So the only thing you're
vibrating is I don't have, I don't have. You gonna
get some more of you don't have? You don't have,
because that's what you're vibrating. That's what you're constantly talking about.
You be talking to people, ma'am, I'm so tired of
being broke. No, you not, because that's all you talk
(28:45):
about every damn day.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
So you're noting it into existence, man.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Into existence like people say, dang, I ain't gonna find
no parking space and this lot. I don't do that.
Every time I pull in, I said, I know it's
at least one really good spot for me. And every
time I found a spot because I put it in
the universe. You get what you prepare for, and you
get what you asked for. Be careful what you ask
actually with real heart and soul, and know that the
(29:14):
universe is listening and the universe wants you to have
what you want to have. The problem is a lot
of people will not define it and be clear on it.
This is what I want this. So that's why I
always talk to people about vision boards.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
You know about vision vision board, you know what. I'm
such a big vision board. When I first started my show,
the thing I did is I made a vision board
and I had Jack Canfield, Les Brown, Jane Kennedy all
on top of my vision board and also on the
top of my computer, and I spoke those interviews into reality.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
And they all showed up and talked to you.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
They did they did.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Well well, it was fas. You get it, baby, you
will will will, don't don't. That's right. We have to
remember that God is great, and it's hard sometime to
remember it. And it's funny too, because I know these
people who wrote the show are watching me. Because one
(30:16):
of my great lines that I see all the time
is in the script, and that is a lot of
people like to say God is good. I don't say God.
I say Chicken is good and God is great. And
when you say that, you're you're showing your gratitude. You
gotta have every day an attitude of gratitude. Every day
you gotta say thank you everything you have as gifts.
(30:37):
Be joyful about saying thankful. I don't feel like well,
I guess I gotta say thank you. Be happy to
say thank you, because the Buddha says, arise and be
grateful because you have a lot. Even if you don't
have a lot, at least you got little, even little.
At least you ain't sick. And even if you are sick,
at least you ain't dead. So be grateful. So if
(30:58):
you walk your day with an addie to the gratitude,
more gifts will come to you because you're acknowledging the
blessings that you're getting that brings about more blessings. To
complain is to take those gifts away. The more you complain,
the more things leave you, the more problems happen. You
keep complaining. I guarantee you gonna kick your foot on
something while you walk through the house. Yeah, put that
(31:19):
wall the Now you complain again, Now you turn around,
trip over the chair. Quit it. It's so true.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
You are talking the truth.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
You are talking the truth.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Because we you know, we have to stop complaining, especially
if you wake up and you feel good and you
can walk and talk enjoy that because who knows, And
maybe a day when you can't do that, And I
have plenty of time to feel bad. So why you
are able to feel good? Feel good? And if you
think you're having trouble, just cut on the news. That'll
(31:51):
wake you up.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Right, that's all you gotta do. Or yes, So if
they don't, if they don't know how good their life is,
go down the Fourth Street downtown. Go to Fourth Street
in Los Angeles and just drive slowly down the street.
You're burst into tears. They're literally four or five thousand
homeless people in boxes and stuff all land up underneath
(32:15):
the freeway and on the street. You don't have to
come home to your box. Yeah, you know, you're coming
home to a house with a door that latches and
gives you security. You can flip a switch and have
your own lights. The lights don't come on when it's
daytime and go off at night. You can eat real
food and healthy things. You can have relationships that up
(32:36):
empowering and uplifting. If you just stand up and be
grateful for what you have, and you just keep getting
more and more and more, and God wants you to
have everything. Man, God gets great joy out of seeing
your joy, not your despair. But he will come to
your rescue because my God is very merciful, and you
(32:56):
buy me shoes. Let me tell you so. I don't
even understand why God is so good to me because
I have done so much terrible. But my God, it's
so kind, so generous, so loved. God gives me so much.
Before I can finish thanking him.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
For one thing, you got another.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Yeah, he treats me so good. Sometimes I don't I
don't know if he realizes me.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Hey, you so much. So that's another thing.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
You know.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
We don't expect to get back if we just do
it from my heart and from a right are And
that's what happened. Hey, y'all, Mike call you. What can
