Speaker 1 (00:20):
Welcome back to American OC Radio. Everybody. It is a
beautiful day in Alberta, and uh, we're just we're going
to get right into it here today. We've got people
that are looking to be re baptized and baptized, and
there's a load of misunderstanding of baptism in the denominal

(00:40):
church world out there. You need to be baptized, and
you need to be baptized properly, Paul wrote to the
Ephesian Church, who he rebaptized. If you read next nineteen,
we're going to show that today there's only one Lord,
there's only one faith, and there is only one baptism,
one God and Father of all, who is in all

(01:01):
and through all, and in you all. When you're filled
with the Holy Ghost, that means Jesus the Father lives
inside of you. Praise God. And so we're going to
talk about baptism today. This is one of my favorite
topics to teach on. I can teach on baptism without
any notes with anybody's Bible anywhere if they have a

(01:21):
King James Bible, and because I've done it so many
times and this is something that you need to hear
again too, even if it has happened in your life,
and nobody's ever going to convince me that it's not
important to God. He showed the pattern of salvation all
the way through the Old Testament over and over again.
We're going to show you that today as well, and

(01:43):
we're going to increase understanding on this so very important topic.
You will hear people say in your life. You'll hear
people say that baptism is an outward sign of an
inward affirmation. What they're trying to do by that is
downplay water baptism by saying that you're saved without it.

(02:04):
I'm here to tell you right now you are not. Okay,
God will do good things for you. He'll do he'll
do wonderful things. He'll do all kinds of beautiful things
in your life. But you need to be baptized in
Jesus' name. You have to. This is not optional if
your name is going to be in the Book of Life. Okay,
the Apostles taught this. Jesus taught this, and the Apostles

(02:27):
expanded on it in the Epistles. Okay, this is a
very important topic. So I want you to listen up
and follow along in your Bible and mark these verses down.
Baptism is an essential part of the New Covenant, all right,
and we're going to prove that to you today. I
just want to say a big thank you publicly to

(02:50):
Peyton Smith for the work he does on American doc
Radio dot com and for building these wonderful thumbnails every day.
Thank you, Peyton. You are my brother, you are my friend,
and I want to publicly show my appreciation for what
you do. Let's pray Hallelujah, Jesus, Almighty God. We pray
Lord that you'd be with us today. We pray God

(03:12):
that your word would go forth with power, and that
understanding would it be increased, and that the eyes and
ears and that hearts would be circumcised. Lord. I pray
God that somebody would hear your word today and that
they would be convinced to be baptized in your name
and filled with your spirit. This is the New Covenant. Hallelujah. No,

(03:33):
thank you Jesus for the grace you have given unto
me to teach your word every day. Hallelujah. Praise God, hallelujah.
Hey bo, Peyton, Madeline, Melanie, all of you, welcome to
this study. Turn with me. Everybody, the First Peter Chapter three.

(03:55):
First Peter Chapter three. I've seen a lot of people
argue over the this small passage of scripture. We're going
to bring light to it today. First Peter Chapter three.
And if you go to verse seventeen is where we'll
start in this important topic. Praise God. It's better if

(04:20):
the will of God be so that you suffer for
well doing than for evil doing. For Christ also hath
once suffered for sin, the just, for the unjust, that
he might bring us to God, being put to death
in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit by which

(04:41):
also to listen here by which also he went and
preached unto the spirits in prison. Okay, those spirits were
of the people that rejected his word in the preaching
of Noah. And those its are in prison as of

(05:03):
the day that Peter wrote this letter, which was around
two thousand years ago. Okay, those who rejected the preaching
of Noah are in hell. Okay, they're in prison at
the time of the writing of this letter. All right.
He goes on which sometime were disobedient. There was a

(05:28):
time in the past where they died in sin because
they were disobedient. All right. When once the long suffering,
the patience of God waited in the days of Noah
while the arc was preparing. We're in few that is,
eight souls were saved by water, saved from what saved

(05:50):
from sin. Okay, the world was full of sin. God
destroyed it with water. Now look what Peter has to
say about this. And we're gonna go can read this
in Genesis and you're gonna notice a couple of things, okay,
because these are the patterns of modern day salvation. He
says flat out in verse twenty one, the like figure.

(06:12):
It's a figure God was showing all those years ago
in Genesis six, the like figure whereunto even baptism, doth
also save us. Now not the putting away of the
filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good
conscience toward God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Meaning

(06:35):
that water doesn't wash the dirt off of you, it
washes your conscience. You have a clean conscience toward God.
Why because you abate, you obade the commandment. That's why
good conscience toward God. By the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

(06:56):
He's gone into Heaven, is on the right hand of God.
Angels and authorities and powers being made subject done to him.
And write there Peter is referencing. Uh, he was referencing
Some one ten and one, which is the most quoted
psalm in the New Testament. Okay, we'll talk about that
another day. Let's talk about this. So Peter on the

(07:18):
day of Pentecost, when he released the keys to the kingdom,
didn't tell somebody to just believe and that was it.
He did not tell them to just confess or repeat
a sinner's prayer, and now you're saved forever. And if
you want to get baptized anything, think about. Maybe it's
kind of a good thing to do, but you don't
have to. No, he commanded them. Let's go. Look, this

(07:40):
is the saint Peter that's writing this was given the
keys to the kingdom. And so in the Book of Acts,
chapter two and verse thirty six, let's start with he says, therefore,
let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God
hath made that same Jesus who you crucified. He said

(08:01):
to the Jews of that day, both Lord and Christ.
He's Lord and Messiah, God and man in one. Okay,
he says, now when they heard this, they were pricked
in their heart and said to Peter and the rest
of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? What? What?
How do you fix this? How do we how do

(08:23):
we rectify the situation that we have the blood of
God on our hands? And then Peter said to them,
repent and be baptized, every one of you in the
name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sin, and
you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost for
the promises unto you and to your children and all

(08:44):
them that are far off. So God even made a
way for those who killed him to praise the Lord
that killed him, to uh to be born again, to
be absolved of that. Okay. So the saint Peter that
said baptism now saves us, and Jesus said, the way

(09:07):
that leads to eternal life is narrow, and very few
people find it. Okay. Now, in the days of Noah,
only eight people were saved, just eight, that's it. And
there were probably billions of people at that time. Remember,
a couple thousand years had gone by, and men lived

(09:28):
to be one thousand years old. Can you imagine how
big families were amen the earth? Was populated at that time.
There might have been more people ben than there are now.
All right, eight people. And of course I've pointed out
in the past that praise God, Hella Lujah. I know

(09:49):
it is preposterous. Onward and forward and bow. I'm keeping
an eye out, okay, both, I'm keeping an eye and
so yeah, it's preposterous. Peter commanded them to be baptized.
And then you go through the Book of Acts. That
is what those Jewish apostles did over and over again.
When somebody came to Jesus, they were baptized in his name.

(10:10):
Paul was baptizing his name. The Corinthian Church was baptized
when they believed. The Ephesian Church was baptized when they believed,
over and over again, and then they talk about it
in the epistles. Now, Peter used the example of Noah.
Let's go back to Genesis six and look and remember
what Peter said, repent be baptized, filled with the holy ghosts. Now,

(10:30):
do you remember that when Jesus himself, at the beginning
of his ministry, was baptized by John, a dove came
down and that was a sign to John, all right,
we're gonna read that assigned to John the Baptist. Praise God.
And in Genesis six, it says, we'll start at verse five.

(10:57):
So God saw that the wickedness man was great in
the earth, and that every imagination and the thoughts of
his heart was only evil continually. Okay, there were there.
They were murder, lust, covetousness, all of it. Same things
that people, uh, that are we could do today? Okay,

(11:21):
same thing. Now look at this, it says. And it
repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth,
and it grieved him at his heart. So there you
have repentance. Now God didn't sin, but to repent mean
to change his mind, to allow these people to live
and keep doing what they were doing, and uh, and

(11:43):
spill them blood and kill them one another and hating
one another and amen, murdering each other with their words,
and gossiping and backbiting, just hating one another. Amen. And
I imagine back then it was much the same as
it is today. People neighbors would smile at each other
over the fence, and hey, how you doing, And then no,

(12:03):
I hate him so much. And so there you have repentance.
Now Lord said I will destroy man who I have
created from the face of the earth, both man and beast,
and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air.
For it repenteth me that I have made them. But

(12:24):
here you go. Here's your faith and grace right here.
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Now,
if you're hearing this for the first time, it could
be that you're finding grace. This is grace coming to you.
This was grace that came to the Ephesian Church. We're
going to show that later on too. Noah found grace.
What did that grace do. Grace showed Noah that God

(12:48):
was going to destroy everything in a flood, and it
showed him how to escape judgment, and that was to
go through the water. Same thing with you and baptism today,
it's the exact same thing. Praise the Lord. And so
he goes on. He gives the generations and go skip

(13:11):
down to verse twelve. God looked upon the earth, and
behold it was corrupt. We see a lot of corruption
in the earth today, for all flesh had corrupted his
way upon the earth. God said, to know of the
end of all flesh has come before me. For the
earth is filled with violence through them. The hold I
will destroy them with the earth. A lot of people

(13:34):
want to worship the earth these days. The earth is
the Lord's and the fullness thereof. And he can use
whatever he wants to take you out at any time
if he so desires. Amen, boom, here it is. Make
be an arc of gopher wood roomshell now making the
art and pitch it within and without with pitch, and
then he gives the dimensions. He gave how it was

(13:56):
supposed to be built. Amen. God was very specific in
what he wanted to use, the dimensions and how to
build it. In fact, Moses' name means drawn from the water.
Noah was put in an arcin water, and that's what
saved him and placed him right under the enemy's nose.

(14:19):
The seat of Satan at the time was the pharaoh
in Egypt. Okay, we see it again with Moses now
at the end of coming out of the water, just
like the dove lighting on Jesus. If we skip ahead
to Genesis eight, verses six through eleven. Genesis eight versus

(14:40):
six through eleven came past at the end of forty
days that Noah opened the window of the arc which
he made, and he sent forth a raven which went
foth to and fro until the waters were dried up
from the earth, just like that type of satan going
to and four throughout the earth. Okay, that was the

(15:01):
Also he sent forth a dove from him to see
if the waters were abated from off the face of
the ground. But the dove found no rest for the
soul of her foot, and she returned unto him into
the ark, for the waters were on the face of
the whole earth. And then he put forth his hand,
took her and pulled her onto him in the ark,
and they and he stayed yet another seven days, and

(15:24):
again he sent fourth the dove out of the ark.
The dove came into him in the evening, and lower
in her mouth was an all of leaf plucked off,
so no one knew that the waters were abated. Then
he waited seven days, sent the dove out again, and
it did not come back. So here you have the repentance, baptism,

(15:44):
and then being led by the holy ghost the dove. Right,
that's the symbology there. Now. The other thing about baptism
was that it was typified over and over again when
God gave the children of Israel after they came through
the water going out of Egypt. And we're going to
cover that too, because Paul likened it to baptism to

(16:06):
the Corinthian Church in First Corinthians ten. After they came
through the water. Amen, then they still had to be
led by the spirit in the wilderness. Okay, they still
had to do it. And then you had these prophecies
of John the Baptist. Now, John the Baptist was the

(16:28):
last of the Old Testament prophets and the greatest one
of them. We're going to read that. But first of all,
I want to look at a couple of prophecies concerning John,
and then we'll go read them in the New Testament.
Praise God, he was going to show up baptizing. Okay,
that's how important this was. And baptism in John's day,

(16:53):
when Jesus was walking the earth was they were getting
them ready for the New Covenant. Hey, the baptism formula
would change after Jesus was seated in heaven when he
rose from the dead. Okay, if you're hearing this, this
is how to escape destruction and judgment. Okay, if you

(17:15):
turn down this offer, listen, good. You are turning down
every good thing. You are wicked, and it's going to
be better for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of
judgment than for you. If you reject this. Understand me,
it's a serious business. Turn with me to Isaiah chapter forty.

(17:40):
Praise God, Isaiah, chapter forty. In your Bible we read
from the King James. Around here that is where I stay.
Praise God. Big thank you to Stu Peters for allowing
us this little piece of real estate under the umbrella
of the Stu Peters Network too. He's been a good
and faithful friend to me, Isaiah Chap ever since our

(18:04):
days at Mojo five. But we don't talk too much anymore.
But I like Stu. Isaiah forty and verse three. The
voice of him that cries in the wilderness, prepare ye
the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert,
a highway for our God. Make a straight path in
the desert. He meant for God. And then he goes

(18:25):
on to say, every valley will be exalted, every mountain
and hills shall be made low, and the crooked shall
be made straight, and the rough place is plain. Amen,
things will be straightened out, smoothed and fixed. A rough
individual who is violent or depressed or just out of

(18:45):
the way, will be made, will be straightened out through this.
This is the process he meant by repenting and turning
from wickedness in his life, whether it's lust, maybe you
have a disgusting, unclean porn habit, maybe you're an adult,
or maybe you just got real disgusting, bad habits that
are not pleasing to God. Repentance is turning from them,

(19:09):
and that is what John came preaching. In fact, the
prophecy of John Cumming is the last thing we read
in what we have as the Old Testament. If you
will go to the Book of Malachi. Malchi, what a
powerful book, the Book of Malachi. It's just amazing. Let

(19:31):
me tell you. So this is the last thing in
the division of old New Testament. Okay, the Gospels were
still in the Old Testament. But Jesus when he was
baptized and the Holy Ghost came down upon him, and
the voice in heaven said, this is my son in
whom I'm well pleased. That was the declaration of his sonship.

(19:56):
Baptism in Jesus' name is the declaration of your sonship.
At that point you become a son or daughter of
the Living God, because you were born of His will,
not a flesh. And so at the very end of
the book Malika I chatter four, it's a short little book,

(20:19):
verses five and six. Behold, I will send you Elijah
the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful
day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart
of the fathers to the children, and the heart of
the children to the fathers. Lest I come and smite
the earth with a curse. Okay, And if you want

(20:43):
to read about the curses, you can read about them
in Deuteronomy twenty eight Leviticus twenty six. And they're not fun.
Not fun. Amen, We've seen it several times throughout history.
This can take a drink of my my youngevity stuff.

(21:06):
And so now there's about four hundred years between these things,
and a lot of stuff happened in that four hundred years.
But we go to John chapter one, John chapter one.
Can you believe twenty minutes has gone by already? Look
at that John chapter one. So we just read to

(21:27):
you the prophecy in Isaiah and in Malachi. We're gonna
show you where Jesus just flat out says John was
Elijah who was to come. See a lot of the
things that Elijah did. He would confront people in the

(21:47):
royal family. He would call them out Ahab and Jezebel,
where the king and queen. At his time, John did
the same thing. He called out Herod for marrying his
brother's wife, Amen, and Uh called for repentance. Elijah said,

(22:07):
choose e this day whom you will serve. Amen. Just
make a decision and stand on it and be serious
about it. If you're going to serve the world, then
go hard, have fun. If you're going to live for God,
serve him with joy and gladness, do it hard. It's

(22:29):
easy living for God hard, but it's hard living for
God easy. Verse nineteen John, chapter one. And this is
the record of John. When the Jews sent priests leevites
from Jerusalem to ask him, who art now? Who are you?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Right?

Speaker 1 (22:47):
He confessed and denied not, but confessed, I am not
the Christ. They were waiting for a Christ that they
thought was going to come and destroy their enemies. At
that time, they were occupied by the Roman Empire, and
they all thought Jesus or the Christ was going to
come and sit on a throne in Jerusalem. And smite

(23:12):
the earth with a rod of iron, and that the
Jews of that day would rule the earth with him.
A lot of people think the same thing today. Jesus said,
beware the doctrine of the scribes. And he told people
to beware that doctrine. That's not what it is. That
is not what it is. Amen, We're not waiting for

(23:34):
a future kingdom. It's here today. It's all around you.
It's just people aren't allowed to see it. Goes on.
They asked him, what then, are you Elias? He said,
I am not. He didn't tell them, Okay, no, I'm
not Elijah. He was another guy. Now, listen what Jesus

(23:55):
says about John. See, you gotta have mind of the
spirit in scripture. Okay, heavenly things, not carnal, says I'm not.
Are you that prophet? They were looking for the prophet
that was prophesied in Deuteronomy eighteen of your brethren, I
will raise up a prophet. He will speak my word

(24:16):
in my name, and whosoever does not hear him will
be destroyed. Okay, are you going to hear him today?
Then he said to him who art thou, that we
may give an answer to them that sent to us,
What sayest thou thyself? And he said, I am the
voice of one crying in the wilderness, makes straight the

(24:36):
way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah. It
says isaiahs remember because this was translated from Greek. Right,
They which were sent of the Pharisees, and they asked him,
said to him, why baptize thou? Then why are you baptizing?

(24:59):
If thou art not the Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet.
And John answered them, saying, I baptize with water. But
there standing at one among you whom you know not.
Now listen to what he says about Jesus of Nazareth.
Here Now John was born before him. Okay, John was
born before Jesus. He says, he it is who coming

(25:20):
after me is preferred before me whose shoes latch, and
I'm not worthy done loose? Okay. And then in another trend,
if you go down to verse thirty, it says this
is he amen, because the lamb came along verse twenty nine.
The next day, John see if Jesus coming to him,

(25:41):
and say it, behold the lamb of God that takes
away the sin of the world. To passover Lamb. This
is he of whom I said, after me, Come at
the man that is preferred before me, because he was
before me. How was Jesus before John? Because he's the
I am in flesh. There was only one God, and
he manifest himself in the man Christ, Jesus right. And

(26:08):
I knew him not, but he should, but that he
should be made manifest Israel. Therefore am I come baptizing
in water. So the Christ was going to be made
manifest Israel. But there was going to be a sign
given to John as to who he was. Listen Verse
three two John Bear record saying, I saw the Spirit

(26:29):
descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode on him.
But the dove stayed with him. See we've got God
repented when he saw the wickedness man and decided to
destroy him. Noah found grace in his eyes. Grace showed
him that judgment instruction was coming. Noah was a preacher

(26:51):
of righteousness, and their salvation, where only eight souls were
saved by water, was to go through the flood and
then follow the dove. After right, you have all the
elements here. He says, I knew him not, but he
that sent me to baptize with water. The same said

(27:13):
to me upon whom thou shalt see the spirit descending
and remaining on him, the same as he which baptizes
with the Holy Ghost. And I saw a bare record
that this is the son of God. So when you
are filled with the Holy Ghost today, it's because the
body of Christ, the sons of God, who are His

(27:37):
people on earth, and where He dwells, pray over you,
and in some cases lay hands on you, and you'll
start speaking in tongues. And that is the unfilling of
the Holy Ghost. Okay, now we're gonna go further with this.
There are people in the days of John who refused

(27:58):
to get baptized by him, and they were called Pharisees.
They were religious. They insisted that they were already living
for God and did not have to obey what he
was doing at that moment in time. And they were
so stubborn and stiff neck and uncircumcised in heart and
ear that they would not be baptized by Jaunt. And

(28:23):
if we go to Luke chapter seven, Luke chapter seven,
and if I'm moving fast here, it's because well, there's
a lot, there's a lot there's probably more way more
than I'm going to get to today. Now Here it
is Jesus is talking about John, because they're asking about him,
and Jesus in Luke seven and twenty seven says, this

(28:47):
is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send
my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare the way
before thee. Okay, there it is Jesus himself is confirming
that John the Baptist is the fulfillment of that prophecy
of the Messenger in Isaiah. He says, for I say

(29:09):
unto you, among those that are born of women, there
is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist, but
he that is least in the Kingdom of God is
greater than he. If you are baptized in Jesus's name
and filled with the Holy Ghost, you occupy greater power

(29:29):
on earth than John did. John didn't have the Holy Ghost. Okay,
it wasn't given yet. Now listen to this. Next time
somebody tells you don't need to be baptized in order
to be saved, you tell him that's what the Pharisee said.
That Pharisee talked verse twenty nine. All the people that

(29:53):
heard him, and the publicans justified God being baptized with
the baptism of John. Okay, but the Pharisees and lawyers
rejected the counsel of God against themselves being not baptized
of him. They rejected that they were disobedient, just like

(30:18):
those disobedient souls were preached to by Noah. And they
are still in prison to this day, this very day,
waiting for the judgment and to be cast into the
lake of fire. They have no hope. And if you
reject this word today, that'll be you and I'll see

(30:39):
you at the judgment. Praise God. This is important. This
is more important than anything in your life. I've had
people God has brought here from thousands of miles to
be baptized in his name. Okay, don't tell me it's
not important to God. You don't know, You don't know

(31:00):
the word. If that's what you think, Praise God. You
have no idea what you're talking about. Now. Remember the
prophecy was I'll send Elijah before my face, right, And
the Pharisees asked him, are you Elias? They thought Elias
was going to show up Elijah right, he said to him, No,

(31:27):
he said, all right well. In Matthew chapter eleven. Praise
Lord Matthew, chapter eleven. Matthew chapter eleven. Now John has
been thrown in jail because he rebuked Herod for marrying

(31:53):
his brother's wife. He was an adulterer, and John said
it to him, and they were asking Jesus about John
in verse eleven eleven eleven, Really, I say into you,
among them that are born of women, there hath not
risen a greater than John the Baptist. Notwithstanding he that
is leased in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he.

(32:15):
So there's that statement again in a separate gospel. Oh
there's Lorraine and Madeline. Praise the Lord. Good to see you.
From the days of John the Baptist till now the
Kingdom of Heaven suffered violence and the violence taken by force.
He meant, the violent we're the people of the world. Okay,

(32:37):
they always were and they always will be. Christians, not violent.
We're violent in some ways. They meant. We don't pick
up a sword or a gun. We use spiritual warfare,
which is far more powerful than any carnal means. Okay,
now I'm not again stoning a gun. I have one myself.

(32:59):
Praise God. But I don't think it's going to save me.
He says, for all the prophets of the Law prophesied
until John. Okay, that was the end of the Old
Testament prophets John, and if you will receive it, he says,
this is Elias, which was for come. Okay. So John

(33:21):
wasn't the individual Elijah. He came in the same spirit
and power he that had ears to hear, let him
hear spiritually speaking, he was alive. He wasn't the same
guy Elijah went on to receive his reward all the
way back in those days. Now, all they were doing

(33:45):
was going around baptizing. Okay. People often hit me, what
about the thief on the cross? He wasn't baptized. How
do you know the thief on the cross was never baptized?
If you go to john Ford, how do you know
that the thief on the cross is only mentioned by
in the book of Luke for one thing, that's the
only place that story is told. But people build whole

(34:07):
doctrines around it. Okay, praise God, they do, uh Luke?
Chapter Oh sorry, John? Chapter four. John. Chapter four, after
Jesus says to Nicodemus a Pharisee. Then a lesson man

(34:28):
is born of water and spirit. He cannot see the
Kingdom of God, and he can't enter the Kingdom of God,
water and spirit. Okay, that's Acts two thirty eight eight there.
But in John four right at the beginning, see people
go right to John three point sixteen and ignore the
rest of the same flow of consciousness, and then they see,

(34:48):
see right there, you just have to believe. Wrong, they
were talking about baptism. If you believe, you'll do it.
If you receive grace faith, is you acting on it?
In Hebrews eleven says by faith, Noah built an art
to the saving of his household. See, he received grace
in the eyes of God. Grace showed him judgment was coming.

(35:12):
By faith, he did what he was told to do.
There's your faith in grace. That is how it works.
There's a lack of understanding about these concepts out there,
and frankly, the churches have done a horrible job of
teaching them. And there's a lack of understanding. Amen, there's
a lot of churches that are not God's Church. In fact,

(35:35):
the vast majority of them, very few fine that narrow way,
very few Jesus said it. John chapter four, verse one.
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard
that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, though

(35:56):
Jesus himself baptized not but his disciples. Right, pra He's
got his disciples baptized. Jesus didn't do that himself, and
he still doesn't today. That is up to his people
to do his disciples, those who are of his discipline.

(36:17):
Praise God. Now, I want to cover the Exodus just
a little bit, because Paul speaking to the Corinthian Church.
If you go to first Corinthians, hell Olujah, he's warning them.
He's warning them because he's telling them, just like you
guys were baptized. Okay, the people of Israel were baptized

(36:43):
to Moses. Okay, uh, Chapter ten and one Corinthias. Moreover, Brethren,
I would not that you should be ignorant how that
all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed
through the sea and were baptized unto Moses in the
loud and in the sea. That was their baptism, that
was the figure. And we're gonna show you what Moses

(37:06):
said about that to them, right, before they went through
the water, and did all eat the same spiritual meat,
and did all eat the same spiritual drink, For they
drank of that spiritual rock that followed them. Their art
was Christ. Here's the warning, he says. But with many
of them, God was not well pleased, for they were
overthrown in the wilderness. And these things were our example

(37:29):
to the intent that we should not lust after evil things,
as they also lusted. Well, that kind of kills that
whole one saved, always saved thing, doesn't it. Yeah, that's right.
They went through the water, they were baptized unto Moses.
But the ones that did not believe are turned away
from the narrow way and the holy commandment that was

(37:51):
delivered unto them, they were killed. They were cut off
from the promised land. We're supposed to be above sin, right,
We're supposed to be above sin. Now, if you slip
up or do something stupid, you have an advocate. Okay,

(38:14):
it's presumptuous sin. The writer Jude said that there was
gonna be people that were going to come into the
church and teach that grace meant lasciviousness, or that grace
meant that you could just live in a lewde and unclean,
disgusting matter, and that it covered. You know, grace does
not do that. That is not the purpose of it.

(38:38):
God killed the ones didn't believe how you know, they
didn't believe well, because they lusted after evil things. They
forgot all the wonderful things you got have done for them.
It's not a one and done. You've got to be
led of the spirit. Every day. I've seen people turn
from the holy commandment that was delivered unto them and

(38:59):
get exceeding wicked. I've seen it more times than I'd
like to admit, or turn to some other way or
some other foundation, beguiled like Satan, beguiled. Even the garden.
Amen Paul warned them about that too. So get it
out of your head. Serve God with joy and gladness,

(39:21):
and then you will walk in the blessing. Praise the Lord.
Now I want you to turn really quick with me
to Exodus chapter fourteen. Exodus chapter fourteen, Praise Lord. Pharaoh
has said that the children of Israel can leave. But

(39:42):
then when he heard that they did, and remember his
son died in the Passover because they didn't have the
blood of the Lamb on their doors. Only the children
of Israel did said that. Verse five, it was told
the king of Egypt that the people fled in the
heart of Pharaoh and his servants was turned against the people,
and they said, why have we done this, that we've

(40:04):
let Israel go from serving us. Pharaoh was wishy washy,
and he made ready his chariot and took his people
with him six hundred chosen chariots, all the chariots of Egypt,
and captains every one of them, he meant. And so
they pursued the children of Israel. Have you ever heard

(40:24):
the old saying caught between the devil and the deep
blue sea, That's where that comes from. And so you've
got this about two million people, women, children, young, old, right,
and they've gotten great treasure with great substance, gold and

(40:47):
silver and whatnot that the Egyptians gave him before they left.
Now the Egyptian army's bearing down on him, and the
children of Israel were very afraid. They thought, this is it. Now,
they're going to be real mean to us, probably kill several,
probably jail several. And in verse eleven they said, unto Moses,

(41:09):
because there were no graves in Egypt, hast Nou taken
us away to die in the wilderness. See God, what
God just did in Egypt military us army doctrine is
full spectrum dominance. That's what God did. God used locusts, lice, flies,

(41:35):
turned the water into blood, turned uh, turned out lights
thick darkness. Amen, weather Hail used all those things. He
remember what he said to Noah before he showed Noah
the arc. He said, I'm going to just destroy them
with the earthy. I'm gonna use the earth to do it.

(41:58):
Well he did the egypt See they forgot all this stuff,
and they gone free. They quld believe it. Wherefore, hast
thou dealt us with us to carry us forth out
of Egypt. Is not this the word that we didn't
tell you in Egypt, saying let us alone, that we
may serve the Egyptians, For it had been better for

(42:20):
us to serve the Egyptians, that we should die in
the wilderness. Well, they weren't happy serving the Egyptians. That
wasn't a good situation. Their labor got harder and harder,
and now all of a sudden they're pining away for
the good old days, which really were horrible. Amen. Now

(42:41):
listen to what Moses says, and this is right before
they go through the water. He says, Moses said, under
the people, fear not stand still and see the salvation
of the Lord, the salvation of the Lord, which he
will show to you this day. For the Egyptians whom

(43:04):
you've seen today, you shall see them again no more forever,
for the Lord shall fight for you, and you shall
hold your peace. Praise God. And we all know what happened.
The entire Egyptian military was destroyed because God thought on

(43:26):
the behalf of his children. I mean I could get
I could even get into the Tabernacle when Moses received
the plans for the Tabernacle. Amen. If you look at
the Tabernacle plan, there was the brazen altar where the
sacrifice was made. Then there was a lava of water

(43:47):
where the priest went and washed the blood off of
his hands of the sacrifice before going into the Holy Place.
And once a year the holiest of holies. See that
was all a type of Acts two thirty eight salvation right, death,
in repentance at at the altar of sacrifice, buried in

(44:13):
baptism at the labor of water, and then the innermost
Holy place where the ark of the Covenant was, and
then the priests would go into the Holy Place, the
outer area of the holiest of holies, and they would
change the show bread every day. They would burn incense
every day and keep the candles lit every day. So

(44:35):
those are daily things that you have to do in
order to keep connected to the vine. You have to
have a prayer life. You have to have the Word
of God in you. That's the bread, that's the incense, Amen,
and the light. Praise the Lord. And so if you're
not connected to Him and you're not doing these things,

(44:57):
you'll go along your carnival way thinking that you're but
you're drifting away. Okay, you're drifting away. And there are
loads of man made traditions and doctrines that are designed
to get you off of the narrow way. And that

(45:19):
is why we do Bible study here every day to
keep you in the way. Because some slick talker out
there's gonna oh yeah, I know Jesus too, he showed
me something different. There is only one Lord, one faith,
and one baptism. Okay, praise God.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
And so that there's the exodus now again Acts two
thirty eight Man Okay, so you, you Jews, you're guilty
of killing the one that God.

Speaker 1 (45:57):
Made both he's Lord and Messiah. You killed him with
wicked hands, and they're picked in their heart. What do
we do? How do we wash ourselves of this repent?
Be baptized in Jesus' name, every one of you for
the remission of sin, and you shall receive the gift

(46:18):
of the Holy Ghost. That's death, burial, resurrection. Right there,
that's the gospel in your life. That's you entering into
a new system of authority in your life. Amen. And
then you walk in power. Hallelujah. Peyton and Madeline are
getting blessed over here, hallelujah Jesus. No, let's go back

(46:47):
to the gospels really quick. When I hear religious people saying, oh, no,
you don't have to be baptized, they're counseling you to
dis so obey Jesus of Nazareth, that's what they're doing.

(47:10):
After twenty eight, very last instructions to the apostles, then
the eleven disciples went away into verse sixteen. By the way,
went into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them,
and when he saw them, they worshiped him. Some doubted.
Jesus came and spake under them, saying, all power is
given unto me in heaven and in earth, all of it. Go. Ye. Therefore,

(47:36):
because of that, go and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, of the Son, and
of the Holy Ghost. Now, Father, Son and Holy Ghosts
are not names. They're not a proper name. They are titles. Amen.
I am a father, I'm a son, I'm a brother,
I'm an uncle, I'm all those things. But I'm one,

(48:00):
and I call myself Mike. God is one. Amen, the
man Christ, Jesus. Now his spirit is all around you
right now and in some of you. But the body
is in heaven, sitting on the throne. And if his

(48:20):
spirit's in you, then you become a son of God,
and you'll do the things he did. Turn to Mark sixteen.
The name of the Son of God, the name of
the Father's Son and Holy Ghosts that they were baptizing
in is Jesus name is singular Mark sixteen and sixteen.

(48:41):
We find the same thing in a different account, different
gospel verse the story of fifteen. He said to them,
going to all the world and preach the Gospel to
every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.
He that believeth not shall be down because they don't believe.

(49:02):
They If you don't believe, then you won't get baptized.
In his name. These signs shall follow them that believe
in my name. They shall cast out devils, speak with
new tongues, take up certapents, and if they drink any
deadly thing, it won't hurt them. And they'll lay hands

(49:22):
on the sick, and they shall recover.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
You.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Men, you'll have power in your life. And if you
stay connected to the vine and be full of the
word and meditate on it, you will produce fruit on
to righteousness. While people around you are flipping out and
losing their mind over what the Democrats are doing, or
what the Liberals are doing, or what the what, it

(49:47):
won't matter to you because you have a higher authority.
I used to wig out over politics. I don't anymore,
or you know why, because I know where all power
and authority is, and it's above all this. Let me
tell you, I've seen him use them to benefit his people. Yeah,

(50:14):
he's over them too. I get a kick out. I
see people. Oh, the Devil's winning. He ain't winning nothing.
Now he's not. If he is in your life, I
know what to tell you. You know now Luke is

(50:36):
the writer of the Book of Acts. So let's go
to Luke's last bit of instructions. Before Luke went on
to write the Book of Acts. You could say that
the Book of Acts is Luke too, Okay, Part two
of the Book of Luke. He said to them verse nineteen,

(51:02):
Oh sorry, sorry, sorry, Let just gip ahead. Verse forty six,
said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it
behooved Christ to suffer and derise from the dead the
third day, and that repentance and remission of sin should
be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

(51:24):
So all the families of the earth were gonna be
blessed by the seed of Abraham. So they started at
Jerusalem and went out into the rest of the world,
the gentiles right, and that remission of sin would be
preached in his name. And then Luke wrote it again
in Acts two thirty eight. Repent be baptized every one

(51:45):
of you in the name of Jesus for the remission
of sin. That's where you're washing the blood off that's
the clean conscience. If we go back to the example
of the tabernacle, all right, this.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
Is not hard.

Speaker 1 (52:00):
This is not hard. It's just that people have learned
so many other spiritual trash and not rightly dividing the
word Praise God. I know a young man that's in
Bible school and he's like, yeah, they're all over the
place on baptism. There's arguments about it. And I'm like,

(52:24):
it's a Bible school and they can't teach you a
simple thing like baptism that's so clear in God's Word.
And I'm not I'm not insulting you. I'm just saying
this is a very clear thing. So the Book of
Acts is actions actions of the Apostles. Okay, this is

(52:45):
the only place you find where churches are started and
people are saved. Okay. Then after the Book of Acts
you have the Epistles. These are letters to save people.
You cannot skip over the Book of Acts and go
to omens that was written to people that are saved
in in church and say, oh, that's how you be saved. No, Wi,

(53:06):
those letters are to tell them how to stay saved
once they've come in the kingdom. Understand the order of
your Bible and how it works. There's some mechanics. Now,
let's look at a couple of other examples. Turn with
me to Acts eight. Acts Chapter eight. All right, we

(53:30):
already we already looked at the giving of the keys
to the Kingdom. Praise God. Uh, Philip has gone to Samaria. Okay,
Philip is in Samaria. He's preaching Jesus. What did they
do verse twelve. When they believed Philip preaching the things
concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ,

(53:53):
they were baptized, both men and women. Amen. There was
this character named Simon the Sorcerer. He was baptized too.
But if you go on to verse fourteen. Now, when
the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had
received the word of God, they sent unto him Peter

(54:15):
and John, who, when they were come down, prayed for
them that they might receive the Holy Ghost, for as
he was fallen upon none of them. Only they were
baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Okay, Now
that is a second confirmation, a second witness that that's

(54:37):
what they did. Right. Turning me to Acts chapter ten,
House Cornelius so there's this guy, Cornelius. Kay. He was
a Roman. He was a centurion in the Roman army.
He prayed, he believed, he paid, He gave offerings to

(55:00):
the poor. But an angel came and said, send a
joppa for some men. They're going to show you what
you must do. Okay, what you have to do. He
was already believing. He already had a prayer life. He
already was very charitable and giving. And this please God.

(55:26):
The angel said, your prayers and your arms have gone
up as a memorial before God. Therefore he found grace
in the eyes of God. Let me show you what
you must do. And so Peter. They didn't believe the
Dentiles could have this. Okay, if you skip to Acts

(55:48):
ten thirty four. Then Peter opened his mouth and said,
of a truth, I perceive that God is no respector
of persons. But in every nation he that feared Him
and work with righteousness is accepted with him. Praise God.
You see all these immigrants in your country. Don't get

(56:09):
upset about it. Pray for them. Have God lead you
to one of them to be born of the water
and spirit. Don't despise the stranger in the land. I'll
tell you something else. One of the curses in Deuteronomy
twenty eight was that your land will be overrun with
strangers and speaking different language than you, and they will

(56:31):
rule over you. And you know what it says. You
know why because you didn't serve God with joy and gladness. Amen.
I loved teaching you guy's Bible studies every day. I
was excited to get on here today and talk about baptism. Well, Mike,
you've talked about baptism probably one hundred times. Yeah, that's right,

(56:56):
And I grow in it every time I do. Amen,
And I love doing this. And so what did Peter do?
He preached that Jesus is God. Okay, he preached the
gospel he meant. And while he was preaching, he says

(57:21):
to him verse forty three. He's preaching them about Jesus.
He says to him, you have all the prophets witness
that threw his name. Whosoever believeth in him shall receive
remission of sin. How did Peter say that you've got
to have your sins remitted, baptized in Jesus' name? And

(57:41):
then they didn't think that gentiles could be filled with
the holy ghosts says, well, Peter, yet spake these words,
the Holy ghost fell on all them that heard the word. Well,
how did they know? You know, like a weird sunbeam
going across me. Here I can see in my monitor,
praise the Lord. Holy ghosts fell and they are of

(58:05):
the circumcision, which believed were astonished as many as came
with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured
out the gift of the Holy Ghost. Well how did
they know? Well, they heard them speak with tongues and
magnify God. And then answered Peter, here it is right here.
He didn't suggest it, he commanded it. He says, can

(58:27):
any man forbid Bader that these should not be baptized
that had received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name
of the Lord. Then prayed they him tarry certain days.
There's another one. You want to see the beginning of

(58:48):
the church in corinth Let's go to Acts sixteen or
sorry eighteen, Acts eighteen. The Corinthian church people always go
to the uh Ax eighteen. They all go to Corinthians. Say, look,

(59:12):
says here Paul said, God didn't send me to baptize,
but to preach the gospel, right they see See that
doesn't that means we don't have to baptize. You're wrong.
You're taking a snippet from a conversation and not putting
it in context. That's what you're doing. I'd be like
taking one sentence out of all my Bible studies and

(59:34):
building a doctrine off of it, which I suppose you
could do some of them, right. And that's something that weird.
Sunbeam coming across the top of the monitor. Those of
you who are listening to the audio only podcast will
not see that. Where heeze God that we're at an

(01:00:01):
hour and one minute going on overtime over time. I
got a lot to say about this. Praise the Lord,
Kate the Corinthian Church Okay, Acts eighteen, verse eight. Christmas,
the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord

(01:00:21):
with all his house, and many of the Corinthians hearing,
believed and were baptized. That was with Paul, okay, and
he was with Priscilla and Aquilla. Go to Acts nineteen.
Came to pass. Here's the Ephesian church came to pass
that while Paul's was at corinth Paul having passed through
the Upper Coast, came to Ephesus, and finding certain disciples,

(01:00:44):
he said, unto them, have you received the Holy Ghost?
Since you believed? They said to him, we ain't so
much as heard whether there be any holy ghosts. We
don't know what you're talking about. Well, that was the
point of salvation, is being filled with the Holy Ghost.
So Paul starts troubleshooting. Okay, there's something wrong here. He
said to them, well, how onto what were you baptized?

(01:01:07):
How were you baptized? They said John's baptism, and Paul, okay,
all right, all right. Paul said, John verly baptized the
baptism of repentance that's in the Old Testament, that was
before the New Covenant, saying unto the people that they

(01:01:27):
should believe on him which should come after him, that
is on Christ Jesus. And when they heard this, they
were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. See,
they had already been baptized John's, but that was old Covenant.
The lamb hadn't been slain yet. That was preparation for

(01:01:50):
the New Covenant that was coming, and baptism was part
of it. And so Paul rebaptized them in the name
of Jesus. They always did this. You'll you won't find
anything different. Okay. Then when Paul laid his hands on him,

(01:02:10):
the Holy Ghost came on him and they spake with
tongues and propheside, just like Jesus said they would. Yeah.
It does look heavenly, doesn't it, Madeline. And now we've
got some kind of a Star Wars purple thing going
on over on the side. Here, look at that neat here,
I'll put my there. We go take a screenshot somebody, hellelujah,

(01:02:39):
I got the Holy Ghost down in my soul, just
like the Bible says, Praise the Lord. Now let's go
on a little bit because I want to counter some
things people. Now, let let's let's look at Romans. Okay,
go to Romans six. Remember what I said, Death, burial, resurrection, repent, baptism,
Holy Ghost. That's that's the guy that's your personal acting

(01:03:02):
it out. Amen. That's when you're born of the water
and spirit. That's when you can see and enter the
Kingdom of God. That's when you have power in your life. Amen.
Chapter six of Romans, what shall we say? Then? Shall
we continue in sin that grace may abound? Remember we're

(01:03:23):
talking about this before God forbid. How should we that
are dead to sin live any longer? Therein the things
you repented of, he says, Know you not that so
many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were
baptized into his death. Therefore we are buried. Your old

(01:03:49):
life is buried. The old man is gone, the jail
is burned down, buried with him by baptism into death.
That like as Christ was raised up from the dead
by the glory of the Father. Even so we should
all walk in newness of life, praise the Lord. And

(01:04:15):
so Colausians two, Colausians two, turn there with me really quickly.
He talks about. In verses eight, he says, beware cautions two. Eight.
Beware lest any man spoil you that means to capture

(01:04:36):
you to the winner goes the spoils through philosophy and
vain deceit after the tradition of men, and after the
rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in
him dwelleth the fullness of the God had bodily. Somebody
tells you God is three persons, they are lying. They

(01:04:56):
are deceived. The Trinity doctrine ca along three hundred years
after the apostles had gone on to their reward. I
go to a church's website and I see faith and grace.
Believe in the Trinity, like just about all the denominations do.
Forget it. Forget it. You cannot be saved. Believe in that.

(01:05:20):
You can't. You cannot believe that lie. Anyone that makes
or loves a lie is going to have their part
in the lake that burns a fire. You see. But
they're nice people. I don't care being not that's works
raise the Lord. And if they reject this, you ain't

(01:05:42):
going to heaven. You're not final warning. I plan to
be back tomorrow, he says. And you are complete in Him,
which is the head of all principality and power, in
whom also you're circumcised with the circumcision made without hands,
and putting off the body of the sins of the flesh,

(01:06:03):
by the circumcision of Christ, buried with him in baptism,
wherein also you are risen with Him through the faith
of the operation of God who hath raised him from
the dead. Now a lot of people like to go
to First Corinthians. Nothing is getting brighter. The sun must
have shifted in the sky. If you're watching me right now,

(01:06:26):
it's getting pretty low. Winter is really setting in. So
I'm going to have to shut my blinds, I think
starting tomorrow. But I'm not getna go into it right
now because we're in the middle of this study. So
people go here and they'll go to first Corinthians, and
they will go straight to chapter one and verse seventeen.

(01:06:50):
And Corinthians. I'll say, Aha, Paul didn't believe baptism was necessary.
I gotcha. Look for Christ sent me not to baptized,
but to preach the Gospel, not with the wisdom of words,
lest the Cross of Christ should be made none. In fact, boom, gotcha,

(01:07:10):
baptism isn't necessary. Wrong. You have to read the rest
of what he was saying. They were divided, and God,
hang on, I'm gonna shut the blind that's getting brighter
all the time. Here, there we go, there we go.

(01:07:36):
Howll o, Loijah, it was getting too bright. Praise the Lord.
I was having a hard time looking at my monitor.
So you got it back up, he says in verse eleven. Actually,
go to verse ten. Now, I beseech you, brethren, by
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all

(01:07:58):
speak the same thing, and that there'd be no division
among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in
the same mind and in the same judgment. Okay, we're
supposed to have the same doctrine, for it hath been
declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which

(01:08:20):
you're of the house, to Chloe, that there are contentions
among you. People are arguing. They're fighting. Now this I
say that, every one of you, says I am of Paul,
and I of Apollos, or I of Cephis, or I
of Christ. It meant you have the same thing today.
You get the same thing today. I am of Luther,

(01:08:42):
I am of Eastern Orthodox, I am of the rc C.
He says, is Christ divided? He said, was Paul crucified
for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?
He made avery specific. No, you were baptized in the

(01:09:05):
name of Jesus, not Peter, not Paul. He says, I,
thank God, I baptized none you except for Christmas guy
as lest anybody should say that I had baptized in
my own name. It was about the name. He was

(01:09:25):
trying to get them to come back together. And where
there's division you find with this Corinthian church, Praise the Lord.
There was every wicked thing, There was uncleanness. They were lying,
they were taking each other before the law and suing
each other. Paul said, that's wickedness. I'm righteous and not

(01:09:50):
gonna inherit the Kingdom of God. He was saying that
to the church, be of the same mind, be of
the same doctrine. He said the same thing to the Ephesia,
whom he rebaptized in Jesus' name. Turn to Ephesians four.
Praise God. Those are of you who are regular listeners

(01:10:10):
to this broadcast. You've heard this before, and I've read
it before, and I've taught it before. But I never
get tired of it. I never get tired of this.
If you get really familiar with the real thing, a
counterfeit will pop out at you and you will immediately

(01:10:34):
recognize something that is wrong because you will know the
genuine articles so well. I can teach this without even
any notes. Okay, I'm not bragging. It's this. There's been
so many of them, right, I mean, I've taught probably
a thousand Bible studies, and so in Ephesians four, Praise

(01:10:59):
the Lord, same thing exact same thing. Okay, Remember he
was telling the Corinthians to be of the same mind
and the same all speak the same thing, since in
chapter four of Ephesians, I, therefore the prisoner of the
Lord beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation,

(01:11:19):
wherewith you are called with all lowliness and maetness and
long suffering for bearing one another in love, endeavoring to
keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. Okay,
there's one body, one spirit, even as you were called

(01:11:42):
in the hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one.

Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
Baptism, whom God, the Father of all, who is above
all and through all, and in you all, but unto
every one of us, has given grace according to the
measure of the gift of Christ.

Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
Praise Lord. And so you know what those preachers are.
So if you skip down verse eleven, he gave some
apostles and prophets and evangelists and pastors and teachers for
the perfecting of the saints. I'm here to perfect you
with these teachings, with this Holy Ghost anointed word that

(01:12:23):
we're giving. It's for you. This is the grace that's
been given unto me. That you grow in grace and
in the knowledge of God. He says, for the work
of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body
of Christ. That's you, if you've been baptized in His name.

(01:12:43):
He says, till we all come in the unity of
the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature
of the fullness of Christ, that we henceforth be more
children tossed to and fro carried about by every wind

(01:13:05):
of doctrine, by the slight of men and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie and wait to deceive any other doctrine.
One Lord, one Faith, one baptism, Praise God. I think

(01:13:34):
that we're going to park it there for today. We're
almost fifteen minutes over our regular time. On Thursday, I
have a real special thing for you guys. You're gonna
want to invite people to be here on Thursday. I
have a threefold cord of men that I rely on myself,

(01:13:57):
Chet Davis and Peter down Okay, And I call it
the counsel of the Elder Bras. And I'm going to
there's gonna be times where people reach out to me
privately for different things. And I'm going to send you
to Peter or I'm going to send you to Chat. Okay, now,

(01:14:20):
uh Chat has agreed to come on American OC Radio
and teach on Thursday. That's right, Chet Davis, my bra
one of them is going to come on and feed
you on Thursday. I will be riding Shotgun. I'll be

(01:14:42):
here too. But I told Chat, I said, I trust you.
You're a praying man, You're faithful, and I want people
to get to know you in case I need to
send them to you so they know that you are
a trusted elder member of the Book of Acts gathering

(01:15:04):
the joke. So you're going to get to know Chet
and Peter over the next little while. And listen, they're
not more important than any of you. They're not. Everybody
has a role to play. Everybody, whether you're just praying
for me every day and lifting up the ministry, or
I'm praying for you, or whether it's Peyton doing the

(01:15:25):
oh so important work of tending the website and the thumbnails.
But we've gotten big and we're growing, and so I
need people that I can have just as a kind
of an elders for things that I can't talk about
in front of the whole church because sometimes there's stuff

(01:15:45):
that has to be you have to be discreet, let's
put it that way. But there's times when I need
somebody that is faithful, that I trust and can lie on.
And so that's what Peter and Jet are and Jet's
going to be here to teach on Thursday. God bless

(01:16:08):
you everyone. Go back to this video. Write these scriptures down,
highlight them in your Bible. What I did was I highlighted.
I got colored pencils and I highlighted all the Baptism
versus in blue. Make it real easy for yourself. And
the more you do that, you'll be able to just

(01:16:31):
pick up and teach a Bible study tomorrow where you are.
And that is my goal. That you go out and
produce fruit and that people get saved and signs and
wonders follow you in your life, and that you serve
Jesus with joy and gladness with power. God bless you everyone, Hellelujah,

(01:16:54):
Thank you Peyton. I prayed that God would send his
word forth with power anointing today and He has done
that yet again. So God bless you everyone. Madeline, Lorraine Peyton,
Melanie all of you that are watching. By the way,
our brother Bob had a minor surgery and he called

(01:17:16):
me this morning and he's fine. So everybody pray that
Bob and Pittsburgh heals up and that God is with
him and his family. God bless you everyone. I plan
on being back tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
Wonder is there anybody here who laid at midnight shad
ride until all because you didn't hell, no one to
help you long the way and all Lord, And if
that is.

Speaker 4 (01:18:22):
Anyone, world, let me tell you. Let me tell you
what I've done.

Speaker 6 (01:18:29):
I've a seen to be offense around me and protect
me every day.

Speaker 4 (01:18:37):
I told it the word Jean, be a bird all around.
When I get burned the world I wanted to be.

Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
A travel world.

Speaker 6 (01:18:59):
Sometime it will hurt you to your heart to see
loan one, see low one to the barn brough Chouldren.

Speaker 4 (01:19:10):
Then then there's no stranger to me, any one and
all Lord, but just the Lord. As you stay in
the fall, you never have the worry when they're knock
over your overdo that's that.

Speaker 6 (01:19:29):
Jesus to be of fits around you and you never
have to worry anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
Just bow down, So jeez, feel fat wall around me.
When you get better, so jee, I want you to
better when you get loner. SOE be a man ball around.

Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
