to our good buddy Shano. Hello, Shano, Hello, Hello Shano Hello.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
And of course I don't do this alone.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I am joined down one person in studio this evening.
I have Kat and Andrew here with me. It's the
three original amigos. It's up, guys.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Hell, how are we doing? We doing?
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Baby? Were doing?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
And I suppose you know, as the as the person
that handles the recording of these episodes and ensuring that
all the technology sinks up and works technically. It's on
me that Matt is unable to record this evening. This
is kind of thrown together, uh, you know, quickly, because unfortunately,
(03:08):
uh you may have you may have noticed that we
didn't release an episode in October, which, of course you
might be saying to yourself, Mike, you moron October is
the is the biggest month of spooky season. It's the
Halloween season. How could a horror podcast not release an
episode of their horror show during Halloween season? And that's
(03:30):
a great question, my friend. And the answer is that
there was some sort of fucking snaff oo. Whether it's
on our end, or on the Internet's end, or on
Riverside's end, which is the software that we used to
record our episodes. I'm not bashing anybody. I'm saying it
could be on any of us. It's a company. What
(03:51):
are they gonna do with Is the company gonna come
for us? Because I said that there was a fuck
up with the episode, they acknowledged there was a fuck up.
I failt it, so anyway, I'll take the blame. They
said it might have been on our microphone.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
But I like that name.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Microphones working fine. I have no idea, but anyway, long
story longer. Uh Andrew was sick, so Matt Kat and
I recorded for over an hour and a half where
we did a draft drafting.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I thought it was a really fun topic.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
It was a really fun draft.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Halloween.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, Halloween episodes and halloweens, so Halloween episodes of non
horror TV shows which could have also included Halloween specials.
So we talked about a lot of fun TV, and
we talked about some other cool stuff at the beginning too,
and kind of did a lot of fun Halloween discussion.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
And unfortunately nobody will ever get to fucking hear it.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
I'm surprised that none of you ever thought that perhaps
I was.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
You know, it's like an episode of Clue.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, and Andrew was sick, and Andrew was not here,
and I was like, oh, the ghost in the machine episode.
The first person was you.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Mike Wisdom at the Edge, Yes, and we went.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
We went on Halloween.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
After we went, we went downtown trigger treating and we
stopped to the Edge to get some skull pizzas and
we said hello to Mike Wisdom and explained him, said problem,
and he said, oh, it's definitely.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
And fault in a joke, in a joking way.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
We definitely just blaming Andrew.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Perhaps you cannot have Clorine without me. I will be
no episode. I mean, that's still as possible. I would
never do something. Yeah, why would I do that? What
good does that do for me? It does no good
for it, It does no good for nobody. No good
for nobody. Now I have to listen to this fucking
(05:47):
rhetoric for the next thirty months. I don't care. It's
actually I don't care what your pick. I don't want
to hear him again.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Oh, I mean, it doesn't have to be a big,
long thing.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yeah yeah, So I figured, you know, obviously Halloween has
now passed us by, so I will say the same
as good in the last episode. Hopefully you all out
there had a really good Halloween season. I know that
we did, and I think that collectively we might all
I think be ready to move on from the Halloween season.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Hopefully you got some needles in your candy. That's a
that's a that's a rude thing to wish upon. Rude.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
You have to check your child's candy, and I made
sure there were no poisonous butter fingers in it.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Did you eat all?
Speaker 4 (06:31):
There were no milky Way midnights this year. Didn't see
them at all.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Who's giving out milky Way?
Speaker 4 (06:37):
They're so good?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
They are good, but giving anywhere?
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I think is that part of a mixed variety pack
that people aren't just buying bags of milky Way.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
I mean, milky Way Midnights are the Best Milky Ways,
so firm didn't know it was part of a mixed pack,
otherwise I would be triggered treating as the Midnight Milky
Way Man.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
The amount of dumb dumbs I saw it was outrageous.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Yeah, I always see one. I always I always see one.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, I mean, Kat, you put that right up on
the tee for Andrew and let him smash her out
of the park. So yeah, So Halloween was fun. We
did a lot of fun Halloween things. It's definitely it
is a long, long month doing spooky stuff for fun
on your own, especially when you add in having a
kid to that mix, and there's a lot of Halloween
stuff to do with with your children. So it was
(07:25):
a long month, but it was a lot of fun.
It was a lot of fun. We also talked about
seeing good Boy in the theater, which was we went
to Kat Andrew went to go see for for my birthday.
We went to go see good Boy. Andrew, I know
you weren't here. Did you want to? And nobody heard
what we had to say about good Boy real quick?
Did you like good Boy? It was fun theater experience, right,
(07:46):
probably never see it again.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
The concept of how it was made, was very cool,
Like the actual directing of said dog in this movie.
The movie itself was up there with like Skinner Rink,
like I'd rather stab myself in the eyes, like I
could have like done a lot of other things. Cool concept,
(08:09):
Love the idea, Love the way it was made. It
took three years. I'm glad that they were able to
exploit that to make a lot of money. They exploited
their dog to make money out of him, because I
don't think that dog was paid for this.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Probably not dog was probably not paid.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
For probably paid in treats. Fine movie, interesting, kept me
on edge. I won't say it's bad. I'd give it
like a six out of ten, Like it's not a
bad compared.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
To Skinner Rink. Skin Rinks blow Skinner rank out of
the water. All I'll say is it's worth seeing, and
I am worth seeing.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
I'm happy to see that a movie like this made
it to theaters because it was it was so interesting the.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Way that it was made. Oh see, I don't know
about that.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Yeah, I don't know if I'm glad that it made
it to theaters because I kind of that kind of
that kind of like it's almost like digressive it kind
of brings the whole it's all else ruins. What horror
is trying to do in movie theaters is like get
people to go there and enjoy the movie, not be
bored the entire time to watch. I mean, let's be honest,
(09:10):
that movie was extremely boring.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I don't know about extremely it was definitely wasn't like
the most riveting.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Okay, so it was.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
I'm surprised.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I'm surprised to hear you say that, because you know,
if we don't have like independent weird horror movies, that
this coming to theaters.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
I'm all about independent weird horror movies, just not a
movie that is from a dog's perspective with no dialogue
and it's nothing happens. It was PG thirteen, heard understood.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
I think it could have went right to streaming and
it would have been.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Well, it will be on shot.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I watched that at home on I would have fallen
asleep within twenty minutes.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
Well how long was it in theaters.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
For I'm not sure.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Probably a couple of weeks, week, maybe a couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Already seven people saw.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
I mean, but hey, at least at least this movie
knew that it didn't hang around too long. It was
an hour and ten minutes.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Do you think more dogs saw this movie than people?
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Maybe, because like, if you're going to bring a dog
to see a movie, this would be the movie the
dogs and just be barking the whole time. And I
feel like that we could bring your dog. Yeah, that
would be like a cool like like the movie theaters
to do dogs, they give a like doggy popcorn buckets.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Yeah, yeah, doggy popcorn. Speaking of idiot dogs, otis scratch
talking about.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
We got there? Like why are we seeing good Boy
when hereditaries?
Speaker 1 (10:25):
And why I didn't know the hereditary black phone? Why
did we have seen black again? I will, I will
follow the sword and take blames the second time.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
It was also his birthday, so we can let him
you know, I made I made the mistake I saw
which I chose nos on my birthday.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
That's true, and that was a great choice.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
And I almost fell asleep during that movie too, because
it was very long and dark.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Do you guys want to run through quickly? I know
Matt's not here, but I have his draft results. You
want to run through what you guys actually picked or
andrew what you would have picked? Had you been here?
Speaker 3 (10:59):
I think I I have your I had.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
I had the Halloween episode from Curby Your Enthusiasm, yes,
called Trick or Trees.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yep, very good. I also had a American Dad episode.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
The one called Best Little Horror House and Langley Falls.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
And then I had a I don't remember Parks and Rec. Yeah,
that one was very good, the one with Yeah, it's
like a Chris Pratt heavy episode with Aubrey Plaza. Hilarious.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
The best parts about Parks and Rec are Swanson and
Chris Pratt. To be honest with you, Uh, cat, do
you want to go through what you drafted?
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (11:39):
I drafted the Ghost Tours piece of I think you
should leave.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Oh yeah, that's right. You picked that one. That's a
great one.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Yes, a huge.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Adult you.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Think that.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
Yeah, I don't know why nail it?
Speaker 2 (12:04):
What else you picked?
Speaker 3 (12:05):
I hate giving you props?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Right ship.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
South Park the night on face Time that's with the
Shining episode and they go trigger treating and he has
a little tablet because Brandy Bye is the blockbuster and.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
I don't really watch.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Yeah, it's Nightmare and FaceTime. Really good one. That's the
Shining shy.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
My third one was s n l David s Pumpkins.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
That whole episode because it also.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Is the girls to go trigger treating and it's like,
why did you make maybe dress?
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Did you make the cheese?
Speaker 3 (12:37):
Was completely cringe worthy.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yes, and my four four great because we had time.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
The the I think you should leave pick was completely
out of left field and that was a really really
good choice. Sorry, I know.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
The biggest disappointment of Cat's evening was that she did
not get to pick the episode of Boy Meets World
entitled And then there was Sean, which is Matt's first
overall pick.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Pick that one we picked.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
We picked a Boy Meets World episode.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
I gotta say, Matt, I know you're not here.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
That's a pretty game.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Well. I Matt did say coming in that his list
was a little bit thin, so he was hoping for
the first overall pick because if he didn't get Boy
Meets World, he was going to be light on things
that he could pick.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
You that it's good, Yeah, I'm sure it is, but
it's also but it's it's good to watch it.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Yeah, it's good. It's good.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
It's good.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Matt also picked the Hey Arnold Halloween Special, which every
now we're talking where and we actually watched it that
night after Matt left, the one where Arnold and Gerald
do the War of the World's parody broadcast during Halloween party,
and that it was actually class it was really funny,
so we watched that show. Matt also picked Nightmare twenty
thousand Feet, that episode of The Twilight Zone, the original
one with Shatner.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
So here's technically not a Halloween thing, no, not a
Halloween thing, also kind of a horror show. So I
think that's a cop of them zero for that, and
it's your points, like, that's that's like you he cheated.
You don't get that account.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Take it up with Matt.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Then he also picked Hell on Earth, which is a
Halloween episode of South Park.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
You picked that, and then I picked.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
An episode off It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia called Who
Got Depregnant, which is a great Halloween episode. I picked
an episode of Family Guy called Halloween on Spooner Street,
which is the episode where Peter, Glenn, Quagmire, and Cleveland
drive by Megan her friends on the front lawne and
they scream ugly bitches at them and their Halloween costume
is pretty great. I also picked an episode of a
British show called Inside Number nine, which is a Deadline.
(14:37):
That was their Halloween special that aired live on the BBC,
and it's really Andrew, you'd actually really like you should
check it out. I don't want to spoil it for
you British seriously. It's on YouTube and it's also on BritBox.
And I also picked the nineteen eighty two Disney Halloween
special Disney's Halloween treat As introduced by Michael Eisner and
(14:58):
Mickey and Minnie Mouse. So that was a fun draft
and it's a real fucking shame that nobody will.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Ever get there too.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
We talk a little bit well, I mean so like
so there they were actually children, no Michael children. But
isn't it Isn't it weird?
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Though?
Speaker 1 (15:14):
That like growing up growing up in the eighties and
the nineties, and they did like The Wide World of
Disney on ABC every Sunday night and everything had to
be introduced by Michael Eisner just because he was the
CEO of the Walt Disney.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
I just remember like there would be like the Wilde
World of Disney and they would just be goofy doing
like like yoga lessons.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Doing the Wide World Disney's wild world wide world of sports.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Goofy. Yeah, it was like doing like yoga in the
department or whatever. It was like swimming on a chair.
That's probably one of the best.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
Yes, I know exactly what was, Yeah, but it was.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
It was just weird that like Michael Eisner, like, so, okay,
great Walt Disney came up with the Walt Disney Company,
so he would introduce things on the on the on
the television.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
It's Walt Disney.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Sure understanding, that doesn't mean that Michael Eisner has to
do you know.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
He always did every like every week. It was so strange.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
I was like, yeah, Michael Eisner, baby, oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
We talked a lot about that. I don't know what
I will say.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
It's like a Family Guy. I think I feel like
there's an episode of feeling Michaelizer.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Is a huge malt is in an episode of Family Guy.
Can't can't confirm that. I also went on a pretty
big angry diatribe about how much I hated Monster the
Ed Green story, which I won't even try and replicate here, but.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
I hated it. Yeah, we talked about good Boy. I know,
it's really it's really disappointing. Yeah, and then we talked again.
I can't. I feel like I feel like he would
be fabricated race body.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
I mean, that would hurt and it would make me angry,
but I feel like it would just be it would
be Yeah, it would be me trying to force magic
that happened on the spot.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
And I feel like if you felt like the weirdest
ever and you were like, this guy had a relationship
with somebody, that's like, no, he didn't. He's creep and
he fucking ate people who we shouldn't glorify. This is
that the guy. No Ryan Murphy, right, Ryan Josh and
Ryan Murray both the same. He did the Star Wars.
That guy sucks to like just pulling out dogs.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Anyway, I'll close the loop on this.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Disappointing that that didn't happen, but we did not forget
about the Halloween season obviously, so we wanted to get
something recorded quickly. Of course, we are going to also
do probably another episode in a couple of weeks with Matt,
with the whole crew. We have to come up with
the topic, which I actually have an idea for a topic.
Maybe I'll tease it for you guys. Towards the end,
Tier Andrew and Catherine.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
But we wanted to.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Talk about a couple of a couple of things really
quick here that that we have come out recently, and
so one is a movie that came out recently. The
other one is something that Andrew and I did recently
that we've all done. Start off with that. So Andrew
and I had a chance to close out the Halloween
season on Saturday November first up at Fright Kingdom and
(18:03):
Nashua and New Hampshire, which if you if you're familiar
with our show, we love haunted attractions and we have
covered Fright Kingdom on this show quite a few times before.
We've done their Halfway to Halloween event, we've done their
Christmas event. And this is I think the second time
that we've been up there, the second time that I've
(18:24):
been up there for the Halloween season.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
And I know, Kat, you didn't come with us this
most recent time, but you've you've been a couple of times,
so you can definitely speak to the experience of Fright Kingdom.
And yes, that is definitely a day that will live
and infamy.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
That is true.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
It was just it So in my opinion, I think
Fright Kingdom continues to be the premiere Halloween attraction in
New England.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
No disrespect to any other haunt out there.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
I feel like this is this is going to come
off as we're being like, you know, we're trying to
shade somebody, but I'm really not.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
I just meant to say that that.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Fright Kingdom is better than anything I've ever gone to
in New England.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Haunted Haunted Overload, which I've never been to, supposed to
be unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Who said it's supposed to be way better? Lots?
Speaker 1 (19:13):
So Haunted Overload has been like nationally recognized as one
of the great best haunts. Fright Kingdom Right Fright Kingdom
also has. Right Kingdom is phenomenal, So has Barretts. Though
Barretts has too, but Barrett's Barretts has I think the
feel almost of like a home haunt. It's on a
not on a small scale, but Fright Kingdom is on
a larger scale.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
There's more attraction, no slight towards Barrett's. I'm not sitting
in a car for an hour and a half to Barrett's.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
I would.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
I can understand why you might not. I get that, okay.
I'm also I'm crazy.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
But like a bigger scale Fright Kingdom.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I also would pay three dollars again.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
Barrett's is also only open in October at the end
of September.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Right Kingdom is.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
To me. I think fran Kingdom is the best haunting
attraction I've been to. Very well done, great Midway with
the like they get the dark.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Ride, they got caught and cane candy, what they had fried.
Oh it smells. It's a little phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
The animatronics, the monsters working around every corner, like the
big pumpkin dude fucking sick. The museum inside awesome.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yeah, it's really cool.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
No, but I think you made a very good point
when you were talking about how there's kind of a
lot to see everywhere you go, whether it's inside outside
on the Midway, like you can kind of do a
lot there. Uh, and pretty much when you go inside
there's like five different attractions inside that warehouse, which is huge.
There's a lot to do. It's cool and it's also
(20:46):
pretty scary. I mean, I feel like Andrew and I
definitely jumped a few times.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
The dark room is the worst because you have those
the dodge one stopped that couldn't find I mean, I
find it insane that people can't find their way through
a dark room, Like, just touched the fucking walls.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
What are you doing?
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Like we got to a certain point, they stopped, and
then somehow I ended up in front of everybody because
I was just, yeah, that way through. As a blind
person who has lived his life not being able to see,
I'm like, well, this is if I lost my glasses
or my contacts. I'm just going to noodle my way
through this room. And people just couldn't cop Like this
idiot family in front of us couldn't get through. I
(21:25):
was like, what are you insane? Just touch the wall?
Speaker 4 (21:28):
Was that the area that was outside and you could
just look up?
Speaker 3 (21:32):
No?
Speaker 2 (21:32):
No, there was no.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
We were in one at one point in time and
you were like, look up because you can.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
See the sky.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
It was all all inside, all inside, but you just
you just touched the wall and walk along the wall
and you're out.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
So I forget what that one's called. It's either the
abandoned or it's called grim.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
I don't have to look at the attractions and see
which one it is, but it's yeah, it is like
dark dark, let me see, Oh it's pitch black.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
No, it's not the abandoned it is let's see.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Yeah, grim, one of the darkest sports in the dictionary
You utilizes the absence of light to accentuate fear. At times,
visitors won't be able to see their own hand in
front of their faces, so even light becomes a weapon.
Visitors will attempt to twist and squeeze their way about
a labyrinth of pure darkness and eat even.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
More fun was like the people behind us were running
through the oh yeah, Like Mike likes to take his
time and like, look at everything, And I get that.
I do too. That you're trying to take everything in
and that's when you get scared when you miss something.
The people be Highs were like up my ass the
whole time, Like every time we were in a room,
they were just right there.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah, fucking just go go ahead, all right, go ahead.
I also Mike was yucking it up with the monsters. Yes,
just having a chat. But also I will say, I
walking through first, I feel like I missed a lot
of the scares going through first. Yeah, I got my
got scared more than anything. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
You if that's what I'm saying, If you go first,
you don't get scared. That's why I always go first, Yeah,
because but they're not going for you, they're going for
the other. Also, if you're looking around trying to look
at everything, that's when you get scared because people come
popping out nowhere.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
That's yeah, they misdirect you in one way.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Yeah, that's well, that's one of the things that they
do so well. I feel like if freaking them is
you don't know which one is, like a fake person
or a real person. Like they're so well blended. It's
like I'm literally like staring at him, like is that
a real And then someone comes and there's a kind
and you're like, oh fuck, yeah, like what the fuck? Yeah,
it's like there's a guy, there's a dude. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
And there's some they have like they also.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Have like some fantastic like animatronics, prosthetics, practical effects like
monsters lurking in the ceilings. They also had that one
very cool room word had like a dungeon like a staircase.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
That went out that was it was like it was
like way down, like you look down and it was
like it was probably twenty feet down.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah, but it was it was it was a mirror
trick that was a meritrick for sure.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Yeah, it was. It was there was nothing there. I
think it was like some.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Sort of I feel something.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
No, that was definitely it was. Yeah, but it was
cool though. That was definitely cool.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Deep dark No, no, no, you walk you walk through
one of the rooms and to your right there is
like a ladder that.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Goes into like a quote unquote hole in the floor, and.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
It looked it's it's designed when you look at it
to make it look like it goes down like thirty
or forty feet, but it's like it's it's a it's
a trick. It's an effect.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Positive. Yeah, definitely, yeah, because it was solid. Concord was
a dungeon. No, it's definitely some sort of monsters.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
I thought there were monsters. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Yeah, but so Andrew and I did all the all
the all five hundred attractions inside and the road we
moved through. Yeah, say, we moved through them pretty quickly.
But it was, uh, it was. It was still pretty
busy the night after Halloween. I mean it is still
Halloween weekend. But yeah, going outside, I would say, in
addition to the haunts that are inside, you get the
midway outside, which you know obviously there's food and mer
(25:00):
and drinks and all kinds of tough photo ops. Coffin Ride,
I think was something that they had had before, but
they took it away for years and now it's back.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
You sit in the coffin.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
It's supposed to simulate you being buried alive. No thanks,
So yeah, I don't want to do that. But yes,
Andrew and I did have a very romantic experience on
their newest attraction, which is just called dark Ride, and
I believe this is like one of six in the country.
It's like an old school carnival style dark ride.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
You literally you go in, they strap you in.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
It's like a little mini roller coaster that goes through
like these neon black light painted sets, and they they
set it up so that the actors in there too,
but like literally they they push you and you go,
they push you, they push you to start, and then
it goes around.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
It whips you around, and me and Andrew would just
like literally like spinning and it's like a zipper ride. Yeah,
pretty much. It's it's it's very cool.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
Yeah, then we get pushed, it gets it going and
then you go around corners very fast and sharp, and
it felt like every time went around a corner that
the entire cart was gonna tip over, and I was.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Like, is this because we're fat or is just how
this ride is?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
And then it was like, but there's also you like
squeeze together, like our legs were like pressed so separately,
like it's a good thing. Nobody looked at like the
the the erection in my pants, because they would have
been like, They're like, wow, that guy really likes that guy.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
And I was like, well, perhaps, Well the funniest part
was now we opted not to purchase this, but that's
on the picture. One of the parts of the ride
are actually earned. There is a camera set up when
you go down one of the drops and you can
like pose in front of the camera, and there is
a picture of me and Andrew that we can purchase
within ninety days of the date that we went there.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Still that's not get If we get a thousand likes
on our Instagram page, we'll post that picture.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Yeah, okay, yeah, if the post for this episode gets
over a thousand likes, that I'll post the picture of
me and Andrew holding hands.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
On It's gonna mean a thousand accounts.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Just like I'll tell you what if you if you
promote our Instagram paget a thousand likes, if you want
to do that, you.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
Can fraudulently promote our account.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Then there you go. That's that's a project for you.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
The people that have real names.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Though, Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Know so yeah, I mean, dark Ride is definitely a
cool addition to the park. I thought, I say the
park honestly, honestly, you know what. It kind of this
this kind of almost ties into the next thing that
we're going to talk about because it does the midway
outside with the new dark Ride attraction. All the hanted
houses there does give me vibes of a certain other
(27:39):
hanted attraction. But it was cool, It was a lot
of fun. It was a good way to close out
the Halloween season. It definitely it is incredibly well done.
And I think if you want to see some cool
haunted houses that are incredibly well done, it's you cannot
miss at at Frank Kingdom.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
The guy also to say, like my sweatshirts.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Yes, yes, we did get compliments on.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
You same sweatshirt.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
No, it was awesome, yeah shirt brother sut brother sure.
Now Andrew got commented, Andrew got complimented on his The
thing hoodie on my my crip keeper drinking a beer
T shirt that was on. I complimented on that, which
was pretty awesome. Brother, yeah shirt brother. So I mean
unfortunately his hair. However, No, no, I didn't get any hair.
Speaker 5 (28:27):
You didn't get anyone ask No, No, I didn't.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
I didn't have the opportunity to discuss that with anybody, unfortunately.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
But but again, you know, unfortunately we're now past the
Halloween season, so you can't just go to Fright Kingdom
on a Saturday night anymore. However, they do have their
Freight Before Christmas event coming up, and they're doing it
two weekends this year, so the weekend of December fifth
they're doing it Friday and Saturday night, So the fifth
and the sixth, and the following week they're doing it
(28:54):
Friday and Saturday night. So December twelfth, December thirteenth, you
can go up to Fright Kingdom, go through everything, and
it'll all be themed to Christmas Horror, which is a
really fun experience that we've all done as well. Cat,
do you prefer the Christmas Haunt or the regular haunt
for Freight Kingdom.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
I like the uniqueness of the Christmas Haunt.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
I think, Yeah, it's something that's unique to them. There's
nowhere else in New England that I know of. Actually
that's not true. There's one in Connecticut almost in the
New York border that does it. But I'm not traveling
almost three hours for that.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
Wait, but they do other holidays, don't they.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Nor Fright Kingdom, I believe also does a Valentine v
I think halfway they do halfway to Halloween as well.
I could be I could be thinking Valentine's Day one,
I could be thinking of a differenthunt with Valentine's Day.
But I'm almost positive that they have done value because
we talked about it.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
Okay, doing that? Yeah, what's the one in Connecticut you're
talking about?
Speaker 2 (29:53):
I would have to look it up and see what
I can. I could find out.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
I've never been to it.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
I've never been to it. No, I've never been.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
Should we do that and get some new even off too, Yes.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Yep, absolutely, I'm down if you want to.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
If you guys want to travel that far and go
to a hont in In in February or Marchbruary, I'll
do that.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
That sounds good, cool, wary, get it? So?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, and obviously a huge thank you to Tim and
uh and the rest of the team over at Fright
Kingdom for welcoming us with open arms. It was incredibly
nice of them to all say hello to us when
we go one up there, and uh.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
We definitely didn't give us any preferential treatment, definitely.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Not, definitely, not at all.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
But it was really good to see, uh, good to see,
good to see Fright Kingdom this year, as I have
many other years, so awesome were to close up the.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Halloween season, like for the picture. Yeah, yeah, like that's great.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Yeah, give a thousand likes on this post for for
for the picture of me and Andrew holding hands on
Dark Ride, which will never happen.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
But hey, I've been wrong about things before.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
All Right, you guys want to talk about Spectacular real
quick before we wrap up this episode. Absolutely so, I
feel like, so we've been doing this podcast for almost
six years now. I think it'll be six years in
a couple of weeks in December. In December, it'll be
six years that we we've been doing this show.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Where is the time?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Seriously?
Speaker 1 (31:12):
So my point being, we've been doing this podcast for
six years, and I feel like the majority of those
years we have been anticipating or talking about this Spooky
World documentary and it has finally arrived.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Safe to say that this has been a long time coming.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Also safe to say that we might be a little
biased here because we do have kind of a connection
to this project. Did become you know, somewhat friendly with
the crew behind this, and we were able to have
you know, the director, Quinn Tony, the producer, and David Bernolino,
who created the park and is the I guess the
(31:50):
quote unquote star of this documentary.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
On our show.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
I mean he is the star. Yeah, I mean y yep.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
So we had them on our show all the way
back in April of twenty twenty one. For christ sakes,
this has been a long time coming.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
It's been a long time in the making.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Yeah. So this was shot like during COVID.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
We're now well beyond that, and I I mean, I
can't really go into any detail on some of the
things I've heard behind the scenes, but all I'll say
is that it seems like there was some difficulty in
post production and some difficulty getting it picked up by
a distributor. But it's so I think it's just but
(32:33):
either way, it's no secret that this movie was filmed
a long time ago and it's taken forever to come out.
For a while, I wasn't even sure that it was
going to come out. I am too, and I the
further it got away from completion, you know, my connections
to the project kind of became less and less involved.
So I didn't hear really any updates. And we did
(32:53):
have some people messaged our accounts and be like, Hey,
what's going on with that?
Speaker 2 (32:56):
And I didn't really know.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
But I say all this because, needless to say, we all,
I think, to varying degrees, have been looking forward to
this documentary to come out because, you know, Spooky World
that meant a lot to a lot of people, myself included.
I've talked a lot about the influence that Spooky World
had on my life and how much time I spent
there as a kid, and I don't think I'd be
as big of a horror fan if I hadn't gone
(33:19):
there as a kid.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
So thanks to my uncle for taking me there.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
So I guess, at the risk of sounding like a
like a douche, I'll say that I don't want to
say that I got like emotional watching it, but it
definitely like it. It invokes a lot of nostalgia in
you watching this because it was you know, it was
a cool thing to experience back in the day. I'm
not going to cry.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
I'm not close to crying all I think he's no,
it's been a long, long day.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
But yes, no, I've never been there, so I can't
experience what Mike is saying.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
God forbid, I actually talk about anything that I enjoy
in a way.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
That is not like this is stupid. You guys, Jesus Christ,
Tim Coddleton, were you? Were you there for that?
Speaker 1 (34:08):
I I was not there for any of Tiny Tim's performances.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
That's a shame.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Yeah, I was not there for that.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
That would be one day out of thirty, like however
long it was up. Also, it sounds like an like
the idea of going there now no interest, Like the traffic,
the parking, I would be like, I would never go
there now. It's almost like this is you're gonna sit
in traffic for two hours to go to the place. Yeah,
like your parents were your dad was the man, your
(34:37):
dad uncle bran Yeah, yeah, because that seems how long
like and you live in Randolph.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Randolphlin, Berlin, probably almost two hours. It's past two hours.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
And then you have to deal with that on my
band's traffic getting there.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Yep, traffic there, traffic back. I remember I always fell
asleep on the way home. But the traffic getting off
the highway was terrible. They they do talk about in
the documentary like how remote it feels when he got there,
because the imagine so you're parking like literally in the
middle of a field. When you went there, it was,
it was it was quite the thing to behold.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Was it ever as busy as it was that they
show in the Oh okay, so it was just like that.
I'm just curious they were showing it just seems wild
that like and now, I mean it makes sense why
they the town tried to like end that. Yeah, they're
probably sick of.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
Well, I there's a reason. I think they do a
good job in the documentary showing like how it kind
of almost became this infamous thing nationally because of all
the media coverage that it got, so it was incredibly popular,
Like this is a reason that it was called the
Disney World disney World Disneyland of Halloween. Obviously on a
much smaller scale.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Perger On was there, I mean.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Like America's Funniest home.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Yeah, right, come on now, it's it's kind of it
was kind of an incredible phenomena on that. I don't
know that they could ever catch lightning in a bottle
like that. Again, obviously at the time, haunted attractions around
here weren't as widespread, you know, Barrett's was still around
that type of things. Barrett started early as well. But
like it was, it was wild, and I wish that
more people. I wish that you guys could have got
(36:15):
to experience it back there. Matt was just a wee babaye.
When all this got to go to the news. Spooky world,
that was kind of me.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
Yeah, it's it's different. It's a much different experience.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
I'm always gonna be, you know, preferential towards the original
one because because if you.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Think about that whole set, like just being in that
random farm in the middle of nowhere, that makes a
huge difference.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
I think so too. Yeah, and it's also.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
The time period, like early nineties nineties, Yeah, different time
to it's just everything's better.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Well, you have to you have to realize too, like
better better. They show this in the documentary, but like
they were able to put like Michael Myers and leather
Face and Freddy Krueger and Jason like on the Haunted
hay Ride without getting rights from like the film companies
back then. They could just like put scenes from Texas
Chainsaw Mask or Nightmare and elm Street. It was a
guy in a Michael Meyers mask popping out of something.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
I was curious, like something good.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
It was because you were We're not talking about Halloween
horror nights here, but also in the same sense, like
you got it. Like I started going probably in ninety
four when I was like eight years old, and I
went until I think ninety eight. Was there last year
in operation, so I was twelve. Like, I'm sure there's.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
An element of it that it was actually great, but
I'm sure there's also an element where I have a
lot of like positive, positive memories about it from when
I was that young. It was so fun, So maybe
it wasn't as awesome as I'm remembering.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Probably look forward to that every single year anyway, like
We're going out and this is gonna be great, and
I'm gonna get this guy's autograph and I'm gonna eat
this snack when I got there.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
See, I wasn't even big into getting the autographs. The
big thing for me was was the hay Ride. The
hay Ride was the big thing for me. The hay
Ride and the Horror Museum in the American Horror Museum
were my big things. And they talk about it in
the documentary.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
But that's like the best part about that came. Like
the Horror Museum at the beginning.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
It's really cool.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
I love that. It was everything with that's so cool,
Like the Halloween three shit in the fucking shining So yeah,
but like it.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
But they talk about this in the documentary.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
But like when the commercials used to come on with
the jingle it's America's horror theme park, Spooky World, Like I.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Do, just remember Spooky Spooooky World.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Yeah, they always had that, and I would whenever I
would first start hearing those, I would get excited because
be like, all, right, time you go to Spooky World,
let's go what's crazy.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
It never meant anything to me, but watching this documentary
as it went on, it made me appreciate what it was.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
And I was like butt hurt and I didn't get.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
To experience that it was. They did such a good
job of I give props to everybody involved in the production,
in the direction, everything for this. It is so well done.
It's one of the better documentaries I've watched. Like a
lot of documentaries they just go off the rails and
they start talking about nonsense, but this was like it
kept you in the element, and if the element is
(38:57):
spooky season, this is exactly what you want to watch.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
It took a lot of time and effort and man
power to record this.
Speaker 6 (39:06):
Document and there's plenty of interviews and Mike said, Mike
is like, a lot of the interviews look like they're
film very COVID.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
I didn't really see that. I didn't get like you
did a lot of things and I didn't see any
of that the A. I yes, I saw that multiple times,
and I was like, it's honky, Like that's it's It's
fine though, because like it's like you said, it's like
watching a travel channel. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
So I was fine with it because.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
I'm like, it's it's hokey, like it's not a big deal.
It's the spooky. Yeah, it's supposed to be. Hope, it's
not like it's a documentary about like the Titanics. Yeah,
it's true, cheesy fucking topic.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Yeah, I get what you're saying. It's like watching an
alien doc. Those aliens. Look, that's fucking alien. Yeah, I
know some of the AI stuff was a little bit weird.
It was easy as but I expected.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Like the like, I just thought that, like some of
the interviews being on Zoom were a little bit distracting.
The two the two for me that were the most
distracting one Tom Savigni, Dude, you're the executive. He was
the movie You're in a car with headphones in on.
It's also, dude, you're.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
You're probably that's your interview getting whether it's COVID or
not true. But like, also he's the producer of the movie.
You can't like he can't sit down for twenty minutes.
And I don't know whatever, I'm probably.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
Like, I like the realness I find I'm real.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Nits I'm picking nits fright, Yeah, Okay.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
And then the I don't remember her name, but she
was one of the actress, like one of the actors
on the original hay Ride, and she was like being
interviewed like on Zoom in her living room, and a
lot of the stuff she had to say was really good.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Cat.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
She was the one that said the spooky world ruined
my marriage. I had a crazy time I went off
the rails, which was one of the funniest lines.
Speaker 6 (40:58):
That first thing might as well have just been like
a dunkin Donuts commercial, Like so for her doing that
in her living room, saying no ship, that's so different
than like the Cropsy documentary, which is like way more
serious and about like scary ship and it's but it's
still like, I really, I feel.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Like you should have Even breaking a dunkin Donuts was great,
but it was like, I know, it was like this
is cheesy. I was like, this is supposed to be.
I like it.
Speaker 6 (41:24):
It's called spooctacular, and we're gonna use Vincent prices like
the main guy that was going, which I fucking.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
Love love it, Okay, so I was gonna give Vincent
price all day.
Speaker 3 (41:36):
They and they did a great job of like making
it work with like like Anthony whatever name was, Bertolini. David, Yeah,
that guy that fucking guys David. They did a fantastic
job of like intertwining it with him.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
I love I thought that.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
I was when I first saw the poster with cincer presses,
like this doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
And then when I watched, I was like, oh, this
makes perfect sense. It is. It is.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
It would definitely be a weird thing for like the
average person that knows nothing about it until you watch it.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
And the way they do it is actually.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Because he's like he says he was inspired by Vincent
Price and he worked in that. Like my dad loved
the part about how it was filmed. No, like the
beginning part where it was like in the the combat
zone in Boston.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
No, He's like, I grew up there. I know where
that place is. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
He was like he didn't no idea about any of
this stuff, but he loved that part. And I was like,
that was kind of cool that he worked in like
costume design a shit. Like he wasn't just some like
random like he knew what he wanted to get into. Yeah,
and that's why he became the legend that he was.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
I mean, I think it clearly shows that he was
a very astute businessman that had a really good idea
executed well.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Uh, and he kind of got fucked over.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
Very smart in marketing and made a fucking shitload of
money and ran the biggest haunted attraction in the country
in the nineties and then yeah, he kind of got.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
There's no road that place should still be there. Yeah,
and it would be an absolute like we could be
going there today.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
It's a shame.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
But really the idiots that live in that town were
too concerned about whatever. Dumb they were like, well, how
am I supposed to fuck my horse with no one
watching it? Because I live in everyone's watching, I know,
like no one gets you know what? He put Berlin
Mass on the map and they were like, we don't
want it on the map because you don't want to know. Yeah,
there's a bunch of en Gains living there. Game baby, Yeah,
(43:27):
so it's it's weird.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Why not, Yeah, it is.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
It is sad the way things ended. Uh, you know,
it's but I guess it's it's just a it's now
just a relic of time past, a relic of the night.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
Isn't it part of a foundation for down syndrome?
Speaker 2 (43:43):
So yeah, they've turned So the end of the documentary
they show that they've turned the old barn I Guess
into a museum and for a nonprofit.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
Or that was such a like that was so like
great idea great concept, Like I appreciate what they're doing.
It's so on the left field. It kind of just
came out of nowhere, and I was like, what that was?
Speaker 4 (43:59):
Yeah, that was interesting.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
It was also super weird.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
So, I I think, if I I remember correctly, a
birdie told me that in order to be able to
shoot footage at the old location, they they had that
guy now owns it and he had to have a
little bit of a.
Speaker 3 (44:14):
Plug in there because that guy was weird.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
Yeah. Yeah, So I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
I don't know what they're going to do with that
museum out there. I think I had heard at some
point that part of the museum was going to be
dedicated to the original Spooky World, but I don't know
if that's still happening.
Speaker 3 (44:26):
But it was good.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
It's good that they're doing that for down syndrome.
Speaker 1 (44:30):
And I mean, also, I feel like we at least
have to mention in passing the fact that if you
watch the movie through the end credits, you'll probably see
a few names that you know that would be the
names of the three of Us along with American Horror Podcast.
Well now they do, if they if they if they
go and see now, that'll be able to.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Find out what is last name? You're not do you
want me to say it? Or because your last name was.
Speaker 3 (44:54):
There's there's also probably a couple other Andrews on.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
There, but me, you, Me, You and catterall listed right
next week. I mean, I don't know. Maybe they could
think she's a Catherine and you're a Michelle.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
Who cares?
Speaker 2 (45:06):
I mean, I mean I'm saying they might not know
who you are. That's true. Well, at the very least
you can Hometown Horror podcast as well.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
But if you look for it, you can find it.
We're also thanked by name, and so my point being,
it's incredibly nice of them to do that.
Speaker 2 (45:25):
They didn't have.
Speaker 4 (45:26):
To do that.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
I mean, we promoted them from the get go. We did.
We did, we did, we did, uh.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
You know, sell ourselves short.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
We deserve No, No, I'm not. I don't mean I
don't mean to do that, but we did.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
I do appreciate, Yeah, I do. No one else is
going to we might as well appreciate.
Speaker 1 (45:45):
We did extend ourselves to try and help them with
whatever they needed a lot, so, uh that that was
very nice of them to.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
We've always been a good friend, had a kind word
I always liked talking about always.
Speaker 4 (45:58):
I like seeing like Ton is like Spooky World stuff.
Speaker 2 (46:02):
He's got a great collection.
Speaker 5 (46:03):
Talking to him about like how the movie was going
and that whole process.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
I thought that was a really fun.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
And I know, I know Matt wants to talk about
this too whenever we record our full episode this month,
because I know he he was texting the group saying like, wow, dude,
this is really cool and I wish I had a
chance to experience.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
Matt would have loved You would have loved it. I
would have.
Speaker 3 (46:23):
No.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Fox was different though, Yeah, fox Burg was different.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
Now, thanks.
Speaker 5 (46:28):
I had my first at Foxboro because Duncan. You know
what they were talking about the sponsors on there, because
Spooky World had a ton of sponsors, Like since the
Get Go Duncan.
Speaker 4 (46:37):
Duncan is always there at Spooky World. You always find
donuts there free.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Is that different than anything else?
Speaker 4 (46:47):
Free?
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Dunking Duncan Donuts has been a long time Spooky World sponsor.
Discount tickets and yeah, I'm pretty sure Dunksan New Hampshire
still partners with the new Spooky World up in Lichfield
to this just had a spider doll the other night.
Speaker 3 (47:02):
I think it's still you're still going to get while
we were together and I was like, I don't eat that,
that's all right, get them.
Speaker 4 (47:08):
I don't know if you want them left over.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
When they showed the when they showed the sponsors in
the documentary, you see that one of the sponsors.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Was juicy juice.
Speaker 3 (47:16):
Remember juicy juice. There was a distinct smell from the
purple juicy juice, like the the the juicy juice of juices.
There is a smell that lingers throughout your bones. If
you smell it, you know it, and it makes you
feel like you're you don't like juicy juice, rape juicy juice.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
That sounds awfule, You're an idiot.
Speaker 5 (47:42):
Apple apple juice, apple app just apple juice.
Speaker 3 (47:48):
It's not It's a fruit punch. Grape juicy juice is purple.
It's fruit punch juicy juice. And if you don't know
what that tastes like, then you don't deserve to know anything.
Have you ever even had Putting in a cloud?
Speaker 2 (48:02):
Putting in a cloud?
Speaker 4 (48:03):
What are you talking about? What are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (48:05):
Putting in a cloud?
Speaker 2 (48:06):
Chocolate pudding with cool whip.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
It's called putting, putting in a cloud. No, not the
alcoholic version. Drunk.
Speaker 4 (48:15):
It's really good.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
That was like a child like putting.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Putting were great, drunk.
Speaker 2 (48:27):

Speaker 1 (48:28):

Speaker 3 (48:50):

Speaker 2 (48:51):
I said that, I have no idea.
Speaker 3 (48:52):
Who are you?
Speaker 5 (48:53):
Are you a big Mash person I watched when I
was younger.
Speaker 2 (48:57):
Okay, I never knew that.
Speaker 3 (49:00):
Watched Mash for a little bit sad interesting.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
I know, I would have never guessed that you watched Mash.
I know it was one of the most popular TV shows.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Mike would have watched.
Speaker 1 (49:10):
It was the Mash, the Monster Mash or Get the
Funk Out the Regular.
Speaker 5 (49:17):
That's you know the song the intro to Mash.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
I mean, sure Stewy sings it on Family. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
so that's the Intron Mash.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
Okay, I don't know weird that you watched that. Why
because you don't know anything about anything else. I'm surprised
that you know that the more you know something.

It was very nice, all right, So we'd recommend the
Spooktacular documentary?
Speaker 4 (50:39):
Then, oh yeah, I loved it. I thought it was great.
I'm not a big documentary person.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
I think did Tony said David. He came across everyone.
Speaker 5 (50:49):
Everyone did a great job putting it together and making
it a great documentary.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
We did a fantastic job directing that, keeping everybody in line.
Speaker 4 (50:55):
Yeah, I think it was awesome.
Speaker 5 (50:57):
I I definitely would recommend friends and family to see it.

such a documentary. But like like you said, it was
like it was like a Travel Channel documentary. It was
exactly what I want. Yeah, Like that's the type of
like I don't like these yep but epity like documentaries.
I wout like this old school like cheesy documentaries.
Speaker 2 (51:24):
Yeah. Like if you if you go on HBO Max
now on the Travel Channel section and you watch like
America's Scariest Halloween Attractions from the year two thousand and two,
it's the same vibe as this.
Speaker 3 (51:35):
Well, it's like it's like Monsters and Mysteries like on
the Travel Channel.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
Yes, like cool stuff. Not as good as that.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
Actually, let's not get crazy. Like Monsters and Mysteries probably
one of the best shows. Do you remember that show.
Speaker 2 (51:47):
Monsters and Mysteries. I don't know if I know that one.
So Jamie on the Travel Channel.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
It's like kryptoids and everything you've definitely seen.
Speaker 2 (51:54):
I probably maybe I just don't remember.
Speaker 3 (51:56):
Maybe in mysteries or maybe it's mysteries of monsters in
search of That was one that I always remember in
search of. I thought it was monsters and mysteries. They
like Bridgewater Triangle.
