combination of things. The time that goes into doing one
of these episodes off and overlaps with the time it
takes to maintain my life. Another factor has been a

There was a point right after Trump took office again
in January where I wasn't sure if I'd be able
to provide that levity or really add anything of value
to the larger conversation happening. Every time I'd sit down
and try to write something, I'd start building out an episode,
and then something else would happen that seemed to take
all the oxygen out of whatever I was thinking about,

and then some other fire would start fucking smoldering elsewhere.
And I was aware that this was the point, of course,
and that the Trump administration's adoption of kind of you know,
zuckle fucks fucking Silicon Valley move fast and break things
approach to achieving their goals was intended to overwhelm us,

to exhaust us, and ultimately to pacify us. A cascading,
fucking torrent of the worst shit you've ever heard of,
coming at you with no end in sight. I knew
that this was coming. I didn't stop posting, of course,
if you hadn't noticed, but I put the podcast on hold,
and I'm sorry for that. And I know some of

The Trump administration and the rest of the right spent
no time rushing to conclusions and using the assassination of
Charlie Kirk that occurred on ten September as pretext to
further erode freedoms in the US and to silence critics
and to go after left wing individuals, groups, and organizations.

They've already begun pushing out this bizarre logic that if
you disagreed with Kirk, or called his views detestable when
he was alive, or didn't express enough sympathy in praise
for him after he died, then you are somehow complicit
in his murder. So that's cool, even cooler. Trump Attorney

General Pam Bondi is now likening criticism and jokes about
Charlie Kirk with hate speech. So that's not, you know,
alarming at all, dude. And Donald Trump out here posting
on his ridiculous website that he is designating Antifa a

belong to a group because there's no group to belong
to in America. I'm not a card carrying anti fascist.
It's not a fucking club. It's just a fucking thing
that you can be. But he's designating it a terrorist

for is to ramp up their scapegoating and intimidation of

right is using this moment as a green light to
conduct stochastic terror operations against people in groups whom they
consider undesirable, and the US government, owned by the death

to entrench and fuel the ever expanding surveillance state. And
if that weren't enough, there's another, in some ways scarier
group of people taking full advantage of this unconstrained pandemonium.

the right to propel us into an even darker version

on that later, But to start off, I certainly won't
be doing any of this weird, fake empathy bullshit or
browbeating about how you should be mourning the death of
a detestable religious extremist. I have no interest whatsoever in

putting on display across the country. If anything, this should
give you a sense of just how incredibly online and
isolated we've all become in this hyper individualist hell country.
Some call the greatest country on Earth, which also happens
to have the most mass shootings and political assassinations by

orders of magnitude compared to every other mechanized country on Earth.
Grown adults posting themselves scream spitting at their phones and
having full mental breaks because a person they've spent the
last decade or so watching on the internet can't do
those ridiculous pop up debates with a crowd of young
adults selectively clipped and posted online anymore. But he made

them feel good, is the thing. Followers of Kirk lived
vicariously through him when he would completely destroy those stupid
blue haired, woke tongs with septum rings who didn't want
to live in a country perma ruled by a bunch

husband and can't have a fucking job or speak unless
spoken to. Charlie Kirk told us exactly who he was
and wanted for women, black Americans, the poor, just about
every other kind of person who wasn't a white Christian

That's because you're a bigot, whether you're aware of it
or not. But it's incredibly clear many Americans and people
across the world got shook by the grizzly footage of
Kirk's death as it began proliferating across the Internet. And
I don't fault anyone for that. I was shook as well,

mostly out of fear for what will come from this event.
But I, like so many others in my corner of
the political spectrum, have been seeing images of dead kids
in Gaza every day for the last twenty three fucking months.
No one should have to witness either of these things,
but the reactions some had to this particular instance of

violence is telling. We have been weeping for years at
the unending violence here at home and across the world
that Charlie Kirk backed and defended his whole career as
a well paid right wing propagandist, backed by bottomless millions
of dollars from some of the most wealthy and powerful
people in the world. We are not sorry that we

respectfully debated, or whatever the fuck you liked about the guy.
He was anything but respectful. By the way, the clips
you've seen of him being considerate and nice or even
just like having fun and smiling like a normal fucking

this is this from Chairman Comer. The politically motivated assassination
of Charlie Kirk claimed the life of a husband, father,
and American patriot. In the wake of this tragedy and
amid other acts of politically motivated violence, Congress has a

duty to oversee the online platforms that radicals have used
to advance political violence. To prevent future radicalization and violence,
the CEOs of Discord, Steam, Twitch, and Reddit must appear
before the Oversight Committee and explain what actions they will
take to ensure their platforms are not exploited for nefarious

Of course, conservatives came right out of the gate saying
the shooter was trans with no evidence. That was false,
So then they were like, oh, okay, but the bullets
are trans. This also didn't hold water, so now they're
running with this alleged roommate. Outlets are reporting that the
roommate may have been a romantic partner of the alleged

shooter and maybe trans. And as of this recording, the
evidence I've seen pointing to the roommate as being trans
is pretty fucking weak. As I was recording this episode,
text messages were released by investigators. Stick around a little
while longer and.

A video circulating online shows the roommate using one of
those Snapchat filters that turns yourself into like an anime character,
and this one had like female characteristics, and like, I
guess the roommate's reaction in the video was kind of
like what the fuck? Like, why is it a woman?
So that's not proof of anyone being trans, I mean,

why would it. A photo is doing the rounds of
the roommate wearing a sloth pajama onesie. Again nothing. The
worst possible sources on the internet are just repeating the
claim that the roommate's trans. H And I guess it's
emanating from the FBI. The fucking FBI, an agency known

for their upstanding ethics and you know, acute knowledge of
trans people. Yeah, especially now that it's being run by
Cash Ptel, a man absolutely bursting with truth and integrity,

pounding hate and fucking fear in your thick skull twenty
four to seven, that you might think that this person
is of the LGBT plus variety or likes to dress

Right is going after this roommate is fucking crazy. According

to the FBI, the roommate is cooperating with authorities while
the shooter is not. Yet conservatives have whipped themselves into
such a fucking frenzy that they're actively putting this person's
life in danger with the shit that they're spewing online.
But this brings me to my next point. None of
this matters. It doesn't matter if the roommate is trans,

and it doesn't matter if the shooter was fucking this person.
Even everything that's been gleaned as of now about both
the alleged shooter and the alleged roommates or partner or
fucking landlord or uber driver, whatever the fuck, points to
a more complex and nuanced picture than most conservatives and

liberals would like to believe. Fact is, whether he was
in a romantic relationship with the trans person or not.
The Right already decided what their version of the truth is.
They decided while Kirk's body was still warm. In fact,
they decided before the shooting even took place. We can't

trust the authorities or anyone in the Trump administration because
they urged all those suspected of having anti Trump bias.

Trump put the inmates in charge of the asylum months ago,

and as material conditions worsened for most Americans, the mental
state of the country continues to deteriorate as the government

of addressing the needs of the people, were forced to

written by the kirk Clipping suspect and described it as
having been reconstructed by the FBI, but also as having
been now destroyed. What the fuck Patel's wording there was ambiguous,
making it unclear if they mean that the suspect destroyed

the note after writing it, or that the FBI destroyed
it after reconstructing it, or both what the fuck. Additionally,
Patel said on Fox News that they confirmed what the
note said because of the FBI's quote aggressive interview posture.
So I'm assuming what he means by that is that

aggressive interview posture mean? Are they doing enhanced interrogation techniques?
